This was a thicker yarn than I am used to working with, but it is also quite soft. I prefer working from the center of the skein, but these were not wound to be able to do that. I did run into quite a few places within the skein where yarns had been tied together, so I was glad to have rerolled them into balls.

Most of the over 20 skeins had a tie in them. Fortunately, with the pattern I was using, I was able to hide them easily. This is the first time I have used this particular type of yarn from Bernat. I don’t think I will be using it again.

I have used other types of Bernat yarn and never had these issues with them.

Really enjoy visiting the shop, and Swaran is so knowledgeable and helpful. However, when a customer is encouraged to order and pay for an item that needs to be ordered, one would expect the shop to call when the order arrives.

Instead, the customer is told to call back to see if it has arrived. When I called on two different occasions to check on my order (the second time was three weeks after the order was placed), both times the person I spoke with had trouble finding my order and asked me to call back again.

I would expect her to take my number and call me back. So, I ended up having to call twice more to finally have my order shipped. I was told I would need to pay for shipping (after all the trouble, I would have hoped it would have been shipped at no additional cost).

Luckily, I had placed an order over Thanksgiving weekend, and that order qualified for free shipping. Definitely need improvements regarding communication and customer service.

I am using this yarn to knit a tunic top for a child. I am very pleased with the stitch definition–very clean! My only concern is that when I bathed my swatch, the stitch definition did not seem as precise and the swatch grew a bit.

On the good side, the swatch did soften up as this yarn is not quite as soft as I would like. For this particular garment, the yarn seems to have just the right amount of body forthe garment to hold its shape well, but I plan to only lightly spray it when it is completed.

Yes it’s hard to see the stitches – you have to feel for them. Similar to working with fur yarn or eyelash yarn. I love the feel of this! I made a couple of Lambs and also a small throw that looks and feels like sheepskin for my daughter’s cats.
