Assuming you would like an answer regarding the material yarn:
Yarn is a strand of material used for knitting, crochet, and other crafts. It is typically made of wool, cotton, acrylic, or a blend of these materials. Yarn can come in a skein, ball, or hank. A skein is a pre-measured length of yarn, while a ball is a skein that has been wound into a ball.

I am so surprised by all the relatively low ratings for this yarn. I wonder if their was some hiccup with manufacturing a year ago or something, because I’ve worked through about 10 skeins on a blanket so far with no issues whatsoever.
I’m the kind of crocheter that goes back to products I like or am used to, and prior to finding this yarn I would make blankets with either Caron Simply Soft or Bernat Blanket. For a new project I wanted to use something worsted weight that was a little less slippery than the simply soft (and easier to tie off between skeins).
The reviews on this site aren’t great but several blogs recommended it so I decided to give this yarn a try and jumped in feet first and bought 10 skeins. I’m partway done with a really huge blanket, but I’m so pleased with how it is coming out.
The yarn is a dream to use, and is super soft to the touch. much more so than I’m used to with other worsted weight acrylic yarns. The drape of the blanket is lovely even with a relatively tight stitch, and I expect will look really elegant when I’m done.
The stitch definition is good, and the yarn isn’t at all fuzzy (which you’d expect). Only time will tell if it will pill up with multiple washes, but I’m sure hoping not since that is really the whole point of this yarn.
My only hope would be that Lion adds a few more colors at some point!.
I crocheted a mosaic throw using the Pine Heather for main color and the Beige Heather as secondary. I found this yarn to be soft and easy to work with ( H hook). I also used leftover beige for a pillow back (G hook) using the lemon peel stitch.
Condensed but still soft. I have not washed these items yet so I can’t speak to the durability of the anti-pilling aspect. I am ordering more Beige Heather today to finish the pillow back.
I recently purchased this yarn in the lemonade color, it was the perfect yellow for the project I was doing. The yarn is okay, but I don’t really care for the feel of it, it is hard to explain but it has an almost plastic like quality to it, it is not as soft feeling when used as other yarns.
Maybe it is just the color I got since this is the first time I’ve used this particular yarn so I have no other color to compare it with. It may be okay for some projects, but I don’t think I will use it for anything like blankets or clothing.

I like this yarn its the first time I am using it. Its a good thickness for blankets, wraps and more. The colors show really good stitch detail. I like the way the colors flow. I will buy again. The only thing I wish I could order more of the colorways from Walmart for shipping not only store pickup.
Been working on a project for my son. Never fail i pick a color that everyone likes. Ran out after 2 skeins of yarn I went to the store to buy more. All the other colors but not my choice. Thank God for the people who happen to have extras Or for whatever reason they have this yarn.
We have used this yarn for baby blankets for a time, but lately the quality is horrible. Threads are enbedded with scraps and the colors are not at all what they were. Only a couple which are shown on the label.

I love this wool and all the individual colours. I use it for crocheting small projects, but I’ve used them for bigger projects too, just put more colours into them. The wool is so smooth, there’s no itchy or scratchy bits either.
I love the little bags you put in some of my larger orders, they’re great, I use them for putting wool in for my different projects. I also love how quick the delivery comes, that’s brilliant. Thank you very much for everything.
Love this yarn and the colors are more beautiful than photographed. One minor problem I experienced was that not all skeins are the same length! I was working on a project that required different colors and all needed to be exact.
Therefore, some patches of my project came out a bit short so I had to order more of the same color.
Lovely product, good value, arrived quickly, but alot of plastic packaging in proportion to a very dinky ball of wool. I would have been much happier with it popped into a paper envelope and posted like that!.
If you’re a beginner knitter, you’ll need to know how to choose the right yarn for your project. The type of yarn you choose will depend on the project you’re making, the needles you’re using, and your personal preferences.
There are four main types of yarn: wool, acrylic, cotton, and linen. Each type of yarn has its own unique properties, so it’s important to choose the right one for your project.
Wool yarn is the most popular type of yarn for knitting. It’s made from sheep’s wool and is very warm and durable. Acrylic yarn is made from synthetic fibers and is less expensive than wool yarn. It’s also not as warm as wool, but it’s still a good choice for winter garments.
Cotton yarn is made from natural fibers and is cool and comfortable to wear. Linen yarn is made from flax plants and is very strong and absorbent.
When you’re choosing yarn for a project, it’s important to consider the gauge of the yarn. The gauge is the thickness of the yarn and is measured in plies. The higher the ply, the thicker the yarn. For example, sport weight yarn is usually between 2-4 plies, while worsted weight yarn is 4-ply.
The gauge of the yarn will affect the size of your finished project and the amount of yarn you’ll need.
Once you’ve chosen the right yarn for your project, you’re ready to start knitting!
