I LOVE this iron. It is -as indicated- light weight, heats well and is a breeze as well as efficiently effective to use. Never used a stainless steel base before but I am rather impressed as it sliides easliy.

Things I really like is the design as it is easy to hold and manueuver. Additionally the tip is designed for those corners usually hard to get at. Works well. The only 2 things which I need to adapt to is that they recommend ironing from left to right, top to bottom.

pulling the iron backwards. It does work much better this way compared to the usual forward motion. The other is the recommendation to turn off before unplugging. Makes sense for all irons but I have not done in the past.

In anycase, I LOVE this iron and will be my favorite of those I have used through the years. Due to exceptional construction I am sure it will last a very very long time.

I chose this because it is 1500 watts and thought it would do a better job that previous irons I have had. I really can’t tell the difference, though. I had read some of the reviews and the cons they described are true.

it is almost impossible to read the level of water. It takes effort and moving the iron in different ways. It does not have an on/off switch, to turn it on you plug it in and to turn it off you unplug it.

Also the gleam from the metallic red coloring keeps looking as if it is a light that tells you it is on. Even when it is sitting. not being used. The water sputters around inside and makes noise as you use it.

It has a smooth glide as you work. and a point that gets into small spaces of the garment. I left it on recently when I went out and it turned itself off and was cool to the touch. My last iron turned itself off but kept a light on and kept a certain degree of heat all day.

Overall, it was a good purchase, the cons are things I can live with. I hope it has a long life span and doesn’t die on me.

IšverstiShow in original languageI purchased this iron about a year ago and was disappointed to find that I’m not able to adjust the temperature. The steam is great. The weight is great. If only I could adjust the temperature! One temperature doesn’t work for every project.

It’s my fault for not checking this out before I purchased it but since every iron I’ve ever owned has had adjustability I just assumed this one would too. I’ll plan to sell it and purchase an iron that has more flexibility.

IšverstiShow in original languageFirst I’m a lefty. Always difficult to find clubs, until I found Callaway Pre Owned. Originally bought Apex pro eight years ago. I’m a “0” handicap. Won many tournaments & Sr club Championships with them.

Then my distance started to go, so I wanted an upgrade to get more distance. In Nov I won a Winter Championship tournament & had $1000 in pro shop money so decided to Purchased Apex 21 irons, new in Nov & Got a bit more distance, but wasn’t the same feel.

So after 3 months, traded them for Apex 21 pro at Pre Owned. Better feel, but lost distance. I wasn’t happy with them so Decided to try Apex 19, True temper steel 95 shafts. Unfortunately there weren’t many LH sets available on PRE Owned, but finally found a set with “average “ quality.

Got them the other day, and were like a set you played with a couple seasons, but overall good shape. I traded up, so nothing out of pocket. Had to replace the grips, which I do myself. Hit them on the range & got back the lost distance & like them better than the Apex 21.

Decent feel, better than 21’s in my opinion. I’m over 65, so I went from hitting a 5 iron 205 15 yrs ago to 175-180 now. So the Indian and not the arrow was the problem, but I had to find a set that still gives me lost distance but still has the accuracy.

Apex 19 helped. I don’t hit the 5 iron 200…that’s long gone, but over 180. Highly recommend. I had gone to Golf Galaxy hitting clubs, different shafts etc, but until you hit them on the course you really don’t know.

Moral of story, is amazing what we will do to find the right clubs.

IšverstiShow in original languageSo I can’t hit a fairway wood or hybrid with ANY consistency, tried for years. Mostly they are topped and crooked either slicing or hooking worm burners. My irons are AP2’s 2018, the 4 iron is the best club in my bag.

Only issues is it’s a 200 yard club so it leaves me short on par 5’s and short on long par 3’s if there is any sort of wind. It was so exciting to see this utility iron. My goal was to get to a 220-230 club to be between my irons and my driver (260yd avg).

I picked up a u-510 4 iron and couldn’t be happier. It gives me an extra 20+ yards, is as easy to hit as my 4 iron and. no more topping the ball since it’s a simple iron swing. This is not really a driving iron for me, it’s kinda like crushing a 3 iron but way more forgiving.

This is a great addition to my bag, now there is only 1 wood in the bag, Driver.

IšverstiShow in original languageThe club is great for any player looking for a driving iron. I fit mine as a 2i with a low spin and launch club for more distances and less resistance in the wind. You can really build if however you want to fit your game.

It plays more as a game improvement club so it lack versatility but will maximize forgiveness. I don’t think you will get much more distance (if that’s what you are looking for) out of the U500 but it will give you more options for shot shaping if your game allows for it.

Overall I really like it and would recommend it to anyone. Great 3 wood replacement.

IšverstiShow in original languageLove this Utility Iron. I tested this one and the U510, plus the Ping Crossover. I got the 3 iron (20 degrees) and it flies. Goes as far as my old 5 wood at 18 degree.

Love the forgiveness on this club too. I personally liked the look and feel of this one over the U510. Even off center hits still go straight which is awesome. Great club off the tee and off the fairway.

Definitely will be used a lot!.
