Best Xbox One Teen Games (2024 Updated)

Since there isn’t a Nintendo Switch version or Xbox One version, we’re doing the PS4 Version. Minus the PS2 original version, they’re all (generally) the same, minus graphics and branding. The Final Fantasy X HD Remaster is an amazing game to own for any part of your (J)RPG collection.

The storyline still holds up after all these years. Revisiting the game after 15 years, the first noticable difference in gameplay (other than the reworked music and menu overhaul) is the choice of having a Basic Sphere Grid or an Advanced Sphere Grid.

(This Sphere Grid system is essentially how you go about learning your abilities and leveling stats). Some spells were added to make some segments of the game more viable and less annoying. Also adding educed load/saving times as a plus.

My only few problems with this game is that the Switch/Xbox Version doesn’t have skippable cutscenes, and blitzball seems to be a big random numbers game. If you can find this, get a new copy. Retails for about $40 but its a solid deal id you can find it at a lower price.

This is an awful product as I bought it. I bought it used. Now let’s circle back. These games are awesome. Full stop. To me they’re the last of the “old school Final Fantasy” titles. The writing is solid, characters compelling, settings rich, and music, in true Final Fantasy fashion, outstanding.

I would recommend ANYONE into jrpg in specific or just great games in general purchase and download this from the e-shop on your console of choice (I’m on the Switch). The hard copy, however, only comes with FFX; FFX-2 is had via download using an included code.

I didn’t know this when I bought my copy. The clown I bought it from mentioned it in the listing, but he didn’t go out of his way to make that easy to see. He just wasn’t a very good person. But the game is awesome.

Just make sure you buy it new, and before you do that, if you’re buying a hard copy, make sure your console’s e-shop still has X-2 available for download. I would just recommend downloading it.

This ps3 version of the remaster comes with the art book, unlike the ps4 version that has other collectibles. As for gameplay, everything is about the same and I didn’t notice anything different. Graphically it is upgraded to be clearer and more colorful, but shadows and facial expressions are more realistic on the original FFX on ps2.

Aside from a few nitpicks on this remaster, I can’t complain much!.

The best NFS since Most Wanted & Carbon, and it definitely lives up to the expectations those games left us with in all areas except the story, which was a bit lackluster. but not the worst there has been in a NFS game (much better than NFS 2015 & Payback).

The physics are fantastic, feels like a fully refined version of Payback’s physics, completely fixing the unpredictableness of Payback, and actually requiring skill to do well in. Drifting is not as easy as you’d expect for an arcade racer, but is rewarding and fun.

Sense of speed is finally back, I don’t think I’ve ever felt like I was moving as fast as I have in NFS Heat before. Cops are great and they’re brutal, but also pretty fair. If you’re quick and have a fast car, ducking through multiple back alleys is a good way to lose them.

and they do put up a really good fight. Anyone saying that they’re too hard shouldn’t be playing a NFS game and needs to go play Forza Horizon (a good game in it’s own right) without cops instead. The map is beautiful and fun to drive in with lots of secret places/shortcuts/alternate routes, as well as having billboards to smash (reminds me of Burnout Paradise) and other free roam activities like drift zones, long jumps, and speed traps.

Heat feels like a combination of the best parts of Most Wanted, Carbon, and Underground. paired with NFS 2015 and Paybacks excellent customization, with a bit of Burnout Paradise thrown in in terms of free-roam activities.

Overall- absolutely recommend the game. Ghost games listened to what the community wanted over the course of NFS 2015 and Payback, and delivered in almost every area this time. Really looking forward to seeing where this takes the NFS series.

It’s starting to feel like the good old NFS games we played as kids again.

The game overall is pretty good. But in order to increase reputation, you have to drive the events at night. This also increases the likelihood of being chased by cops which are nearly impossible to shake.

It seems no matter how fast or how well you drive, they can keep up with you or pass you. They only have to drive next to you to bust you, which means you could be doing 180 mph and they can still bust you.

When you do get busted/wrecked they take at least $30,000 of your money. So, all told the game is decent but it is completely ruined by the excessive cops.

I have played every NFS. From the early series defining 90s exotic racers, the shift to street racing, MOST WANTED 2005, attempt at cannonball run with The Run, failure in sim racing with Shift 1 and 2, the forgettable Most Wanted and Hot Pursuit reboots, then the interesting yet forgettable NFS 2015 and Payback.

The last two games were mighty disappointing, but they served their purpose. Heat is definitely a return to a decent handling model, cheesy storytelling that defined the series since NFS Undeground and perfected in Most Wanted 05, and a great setting.

Only issue is longetivity of this game once you complete the main campaign as you can’t jump into online lobbies to search worldwide for races. Instead you are placed in a hub (open world) where you can only invite or be invited by other racers to participate in a race.

Absolutely awful system. GTSport and Forza Horizon 4 stay in rotation because of the physics and the online aspect. Heat doesn’t have the driving physics to make tuning and driving cars rewarding on its own.

Without the campaign to drive the momentum, the game does lose steam. But during that time, it is probably one of the best arcade racing experiences I have had in a while. Crew 2 was absolute trash and Forza Horizon 4 took a while to grow on me before I fell in love.

Thing is I’m done with Heat after 20hrs, while I’m going 741hrs strong in FH4. Either way, a worthy successor to NFS greats.

Dark Souls 2 is the weakest of the batch. The original creator was busy working on Bloodborne and the two original directors were not able to achieve the vision they wanted, causing setbacks and rewrites, ending in one of the two leaving the project and the other needing to finish it without specific direction.

Most of the environments look okay, but compared to the original they do not feel as fleshed out or interesting. The enemies are fine, but many of the bosses are terrible reskins of Dark Souls 1 bosses, or are simply larger versions of normal enemies.

From a texture and lighting standpoint, Dark Souls 2 is terrible, and needed significant patching before it was even acceptable. The Black Armor Edition includes a Steelbook case with raised artwork and places for two disks, so it can hold the soundtrack and game together.

It also comes with a Black Armor DLC voucher which has long since expired. The soundtrack is excellent, filled with hauntingly beautiful tracks. Overall, if you are a fan of Dark Souls titles, this is one to have purely for collection purposes; otherwise the Scholar of the First Sin edition is the more complete and enhanced version.

Now that the server issues are mostly solved, I figured I should take the time to make a real review for this game. I’ll try to keep this short, so I’ll just address a few key points: * Graphics * Controls * Gameplay Graphics: 8/10 The graphics in this game aren’t ground breaking.

They serve their purpose, but are also quite lacking in many places. This is not a game where you are meant to view a lot of things from close up, but some of the short cutscenes also force objects close to the camera, revealing the lazy texture work.

From Software had to cut back the graphics a lot before release in order to get a steady frame rate, and it shows. However, the game isn’t ugly, either, so it is not a chore to play. And because of the graphical cutbacks they did, the game does run at a mostly steady frame rate, with only a handful of small areas or effects causing the game to stutter.

Controls: 9/10 The controls right now, as of version 1. 03, are not as responsive or tight as they were in Dark Souls 1. If you try doing some things too rapidly, such as dropping your shield and then attacking, you may do a specific shield-raised attack if your weapon supports it.

On top of that, the forward-R1 move, which is now a shield break as opposed to a kick in Dark Souls 1, can be extremely difficult to trigger sometimes. Another issue is menu lag. Right now, it can take upwards of 5 seconds for the menu to appear when hitting Start, or for the Bonfire menu to appear, as well as some menus after talking to NPCs.

This is a very annoying bug, which should be fixed with a patch as soon as possible, as many have noticed and complained about this. These issues are likely to be fixed in patches, however, by fixing the input frame windows.

On the positive side, other minor changes have been made to the controls, such as allowing you to change the jump from the old “tap O while sprinting” method to clicking L3 while sprinting. This makes the game far easier to play from a control point of view.

Gameplay: 9. 5/10 A large portion of the game has stayed similar to Dark Souls 1. The combat is more slow paced compared to other action games. Tactical play is rewarded while blind rushing will probably get you killed.

The durability system for equipment has had a major overhaul, and weapons are now far more brittle, but now also have their durability restored at bonfires (if broken, you must repair them at the blacksmith).

This forces you to be more mindful of your weapons, change your gear more often so your equipment doesn’t break, and experiment more often. You also have six weapon slots instead of four, to help with this.

Covenants also had a major overhaul, bringing in some interesting new ones that rely on attacking people who enter certain locations, or helping people fight off invaders, as well as others. However, most of the PvP interaction happens in NG+, due to the limitations From Soft have put on players are paired together, to help combat ‘Twinking’ (where a low level player invades other low level players with end-game gear and ruins their day), which almost nullifies the point of one of the covenants (Way of the Blue).

Death is also punished in a way similar to Demon’s Souls, but not as severely. Every time you die, you lose 5% of your maximum health, until you eventually reach the minimum 50% HP. Apparently, this also lowers your connection to other players, making it harder to be invaded.

You also cannot summon other players to help you with bosses or areas, but you can still be summoned yourself. You can be revived by using a Human Effigy (similar to Humanity), or rarely/randomly by killing a boss when summoned by another player (this has been called a bug and will probably be patched, however).

Also, right from the start, you will be able to warp to any bonfire you have lit, unlike in Dark Souls 1, where you had to wait until at LEAST 2/3 of the way through the story. This helps to cut down on wasted time simply running aimlessly through the world, and while some people were sceptical about this change, many are glad it was made after they played the game.

You also now have the option to reallocate your stats through the use of an item found in game. This allows players to create a new PvP or PvE build without having to start over a completely new character, a great addition to the game for the PvP community, because it allows people to make a new build without having to play through the entire game with a new character.

Overall: 9/10 Right now, the game is in need of a patch to fix some of the more glaring issues, like the menu lag, and the control input windows. The game itself is great in my opinion, and the gameplay itself deserves a 10/10, but until the outlined issues are fixed, I have to give this game a rating of 9 out of 10.

Being one of the later players of the first Dark Souls there wasn’t quite enough time between them when Dark Souls II was released. I bought it, and after a couple of hours I put it on the shelf, so to speak.

Now after another year has passed I was finally ready to venture into the dark, depressing, difficult, but amazingly rewarding world of Dark Souls II. One of the biggest difference between the two is the bon-fires that allow you to quickly travel between areas.

This is a really nice improvement. The other major difference, I am not so fond of. In Dark Souls II when you die, you go Hollow. You get weaker, and you look really dead at least until you use a Human Effigy to restore your humanity.

These are not too easy to come by, not ridiculously impossible, but enough so that you have to spend good chunks of time in this state, and I hate it. I just don’t like being a rotten corpse, and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.

You don’t get so weak that it is a major disadvantage that takes all the fun out of the game, it’s mostly the aesthetics that I don’t like. So I buy a helmet that covers my face first. Grinding is still the most important part of the game.

Going back to areas over and over again defeating the same enemies, leveling up and improving your fighting skills. You will do lots and lots of this. If you are like me, and this sounds fun you will love this game.

If you liked the first Dark Souls there is no reason not to love this game as it is really just a graphically improved continuation of the first in many ways, though definitely different enough to give the player a whole new experience.

I’ve been extremely skeptical of pretty much any Star Wars content since the disappointing sequel films and the disappointing EA Battlefront games. So going into this game I was praying that it would be great, and praying that I wouldn’t regret pre-ordering it.

My prayers were answered. This game is nothing but great! It proves that EA is capable of making good Star Wars games, and they really should just stop trying to be as lazy as possible like they were with the Battlefront games.

The gameplay is great. It’s obviously most comparable to Dark Souls in terms of combat, but it also has the kind of exploration and puzzles that remind me of Tomb Raider or Uncharted. You spend a lot of time exploring vast and elaborate planets, and these planets are all extremely detailed.

The exploration is rewarding and fun. The combat is thrilling and feels really solid too. Truly makes you feel like a Jedi. The visuals are amazing too. Often times I found myself in awe of the detailed environments and the realistic but perfectly not-uncanny characters.

Yet despite all the great visuals, it doesn’t take away from incredibly satisfying and solid gameplay. Which is great. A game which balances both great graphics and gameplay without sacrificing one or the other is something to be marveled at.

The story was also a blast. It was a pretty simple and straightforward story, but the way it all unfolds is very interesting and will often surprise you. My only nitpick with the story is there are some characters that I would of liked to of seen more of, as they didn’t show up very much.

Again that’s just a nitpick though, nothing that really ruins the story by any means. I won’t give away anything about the story because honestly I think you should experience it yourself. I also really liked the ending.

Just a great package all round. The game also has a lot of lore to dig your teeth into, giving you written out information about even the most mundane things. I think it’s a testament to how much thought and detail was put into the game.

Even though I barely read most of the lore logs you scan and collect, I still appreciated the effort of it all being there. There’s also a lot of throwbacks to the films and animated series, with some familiar planets for those who have seen The Clone Wars.

The exploration is rewarding, the combat is solid and thrilling, and the story was great. It’s also a pretty decent length. The game took me roughly 25~ hours to beat. Yet it’s one of those games where it doesn’t feel that long at all, because it’s so fun and addicting it all just goes by in a flash.

And that’s the kind of thing you want in a game. I 100% recommend buying this game. Don’t torrent it or anything. This is a great game which clearly had a lot of love and passion put into it, and we should really support games like this more, instead of scummy games that put out a broken product designed to take more money from you.

This game is deserving of success. That is all.

I picked this up for $20, and truly feel like it was worth the upgrade. I played this initially on PS4, and had a great time, but I felt the game lacked in several ways. Not necessarily in gameplay, though there are shortcomings in that area as well, I’m referring to some of the technical issues.

Nothing specific, just small stuff littered throughout the game, it was clear the game could use a little polishing and tweaking. So far, I can say the PS5 version cleans up a lot of those issues, and the game feels really good to play.

Reduction of load times, and bringing the game up-to-date with enhancements to graphics and FPS, as well as the PS5’s haptic feedback controls, all make this well worth another play through. I can’t say I’d feel the same at a price any higher than $20-30.

The changes aren’t THAT drastic, nor is there anything extra from the PS4 experience. For new owners, I’d definitely recommend this at full price, the game is truly a great Star Wars experience.

This game really capitalizes on the essence of Dark Souls games. I’ve only played it for about 5 hours and I’m already hooked. This games combat feels refreshing in each fight, with each enemy I face I feel like its a game I just started playing.

Each enemy is 100% unique in its own way, each area I’m in really grabs me. The atmosphere is just breathtaking and really makes me stop to look around. I will say though that this is EA, for a game that isn’t online especially being Star Wars, this game offers a lot.

Upgrades are definitely different and offer a new aspect to it. The customization’s are simple and limited but still give you a lot. The story itself is amazing, each character has they’re own. well character.

Each one having they’re own unique personality while at the same time acknowledging who is who in each scenario. There is never a confliction with who is good or who is bad. Honestly it really is worth the 50-60 bucks.

The age old cast from the battle between the titans and the gods of Greek mythology. A bit of a different tale, but still much the same cast. The game starts with a very long prologue, before you even get to hear details about the problems facing you.

It is kind of a trial to see if Fenyx is worthy for the main quest (Spoiler alert, he is!) So, at this point you’re probably noticing a lot of similarities between the animation and cell shading, with the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild.

This is just the beginning. In this game Typhon has escaped his chains and attacked the gods. Many of the gods have fled and some were separated from their essence and left powerless against Typhon. In breath of the wild it is Calamity Ganon wreaking havoc.

In Immortals you’re trying to restore the essence to the gods / demigods and there are 4 of them you have to do this with. With Zelda you’re trying to free the Divine beasts from Ganons Influence. There are also 4 of these.

Both games have some sort of shrine with puzzles, ridiculously large landscapes, the ability to tame wild horses, and about 5 different lands to explore. Neither Link nor Fenyx can swim very long before they get tired (a very poor mechanic honestly).

Fenyx has trinkets of the gods, Link has Runes that give him many of the same powers as Fenyx. Fenyx attains Daedalus‘ wings so he can glide. Link gets the old man’s Glider. Was Ubisoft aware of these striking similarities? Absolutely they were, as some of the NPC characters in the game make comments like, “If your weapon keeps breaking, you’re doing it wrong!” Weapons breaking in BOTW happen far too frequently for my liking honestly.

Am I saying this is a bad game? Not at all! It’s just that it has taken more than a few liberties with the creative influence that’s for sure. Of course, there are some ways that this game actually improved on BOTW as well.

Like the story, it is much more entertaining and relatable considering that even inexperienced players would know the characters in Immortals. Another thing, your weapons don’t break in this game, so you don’t have to worry about being without a weapon mid fight, when your last weapon inevitably breaks.

The bosses are known quantities as well. Cyclops, Medusa, the Minotaur, and the like are all here to make your game more challenging. It’s almost like you get to play the 1980s clash of the titans on video game form.

Some of these beasts are insanely strong too and will destroy you with 2 hits. Also, Fenyx has more than 16 masks and they have very real benefits, like boosts to damage delivered by your main weapon.

I would say Immortals is also a bit of a longer game that has less strolling around and more exploration than BOTW. Another thing, BOTW tends to keep the majority of the puzzles confined to the shrines, where Immortals will spread them out even in the God’s areas.

Oh and some of Fenyx’s horses can fly, because Pegasus was a real thing in Greek Mythology. Link’s horses really can’t do any of this. Overall it is a good game, but I wish it hadn’t borrowed so much from the BOTW formula.

Of course, if you play this before playing BOTW, you might just find yourself disappointed with Zelda.

I’ve played this game on my XBox Series X on and off (7 hours total) for about a couple of weeks so far. I’ve gotten through enough of the game to know that I like the game. It’s kind of a cross between Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Zelda.

There are enough RPG elements to strengthen your character as you progress. The graphics are fantastic! A couple of downsides for me. To perform special moves, I have to remember the various button presses.

With other games I’m playing, it’s hard to remember the combinations if I stay away for a couple of days. This is minor. The second downside is the character’s stamina system. It decreases when the character climbs or glides.

There are these blue things (sorry, I forget what they’re called) you collect throughout your journey that you can consume when your stamina runs low, which happens quite fast while climbing a tall statue or mountain or gliding.

You can consume those things before your stamina completely depletes. If not, you fall, and depending on how high up you are from a flat surface below, you will get hurt or die. I know the character can build up its maximum stamina over time, but this is not something I really want to worry about.

Perhaps, I will get used to this when I put more time into the game. I would recommend this game if you like action RPG games. I think Ubisoft did a good job with this game.

This game was enjoyable. Like a mad scientist took a little DNA from several video games and mashed it all together. Graphics were enjoyable, played this on my Xbox Series X on an LG CX OLED TV, and the picture was crisp and clear, graphics were smooth.

The two background characters you hear throughout the game, Zeus and Prometheus, are what really made this game stand out above the rest though. Their banter and comments during the game made it far more enjoyable than the game would have been without them.

Gameplay itself was good, although I wish when you maxed out health and stamina, that bonuses from armor would STILL apply. I also wish they had better armor and weapons. Everything I found throughout the game was all boring stuff that didn’t give me as good of a benefit as the actual weapons I started with.

And I only used two pieces of armor the entire game, one that gave my arrows lightning bonus damage, and one that decreased stamina usage. So the lack of rewards was disappointing. Would have been nice when you finally get the better armor towards the end if it combined a few things.

Frustrating thing for me was the camera locking on enemies though, because in the middle of a huge battle, slamming the stick around as I turned my camera POV from one enemy to another, it was far too easy apparently to click the stick and have it lock on an enemy.

And all that did was make me not able to hit what I was TRYING to hit half the time. I looked for options to disable that ability to even have the camera lock like that on an enemy, but didn’t find it.

Even my son was yelling at the TV at times when that happened in some of the major vaults and fights. Other than that, though, a thoroughly enjoyable game. I wandered and got most of the vaults and chests and such before I got too far into the storyline, so by the time I started getting to boss fights I was already seriously tough so I didn’t have issues.

If you enjoyed Link or Fable and such, this is one worth grabbing.

This is a action RPG spin off to Valkyria Chronicles with a much larger emphasis on spells and swords rather than tanks and guns. Though it is closer to Dynasty Warriors than the (mostly) turn based strategy of the last game, it is about as fun and deep in it’s own way.

The story is darker and more realistic, and there is alot more of it than last time, with cinema’s going on for so long that at times it feels like you are watching a full length episode of an anime.

I have gotten alot of enjoyment out of this game, and it’s one of my favorite titles in the last five years by far. Don’t listen to the haters, because though this game is a big departure for the series, it is executed brilliantly.

10 out of 10.

PROS: Interesting story and characters Great voice-acting (if a bit anime-esque) CONS: Gameplay is shallow compared to the main Valkyria series, and gets boring after a while. Feels more like Koei’s “Warriors” series (hack n’ slash) Cutscenes are long, drawn out and not very dynamic (wasn’t a huge problem for me, but just be aware of it) Apart from a similar setting, very little in common with Valkyria Chronicles Long length, but doesn’t feel like it needs to be that long (a SLOG).

It’s so disappointing there is no PC port for this or the other games that came before. Idk what sega is thinking. Glad to have had this release though. Beautiful game, beautiful colors, and good story.

I had purchased the Nintendo switch version. I cant survive morr then 1 minute after i leave the capsule! There no reason why it has to be this extremely difficult to play! Tell me why hame makers? Do you not cater to the people that have trouble with extrem difficultness ? Do you really care? Or is it all about “money” ?.

My son is loving this game and even my husband has started playing it. They both like that it’s something different than what they are used to and that you start from the same place every time you start a game so they have to try and advance as far as they can before dying.

They also like that you get both the first and second game with this purchase!.

This is a fun bundle of roguelikes that span both 2D and 3D. It’s mysterious at first but easy to learn after a few tries. There’s humor and charm to the game reflected in items and entries. The different characters you can unlock offer a variety that can build skill and teach perspective.

Currently watching my brother and his girlfriend play this Christmas gift I got, and we are all very grateful for the diverse creativity the artists who created this game have. It is so fun, clever, and so far no two experiences in the game are the same and it keeps us engaged.

The animation style and score are also worth admiring as they add cute character and beauty to the game. The storyline so far is perfect for the overall theme, and it’s cool seeing how it’s bringing out the practice of collaboration between the players too.

Still waiting to see how the story turns out and further character development since we’re still mid-game, but wanted to be sure to applaud the game thus far for others to enjoy without hesitation if you’re wondering whether or not to get this two-player game.

Non-spoiler spoiler exclamations from my siblings: Those eyes, ow! Why would they do that?? Poor beetle! Poor elephant! geeez.

I’ve always loved couch co-op games and it’s sad that they aren’t made as much anymore. So when a couch co-op game gets released, I have to buy it to support them. I purchased A Way Out when it came out from this same developer in the past and that was a well-thought-out game.

So, when I heard that they were coming out with another couch co-op game I had to jump on it. My wife and I both played through A Way Out together, so it only made sense that we played through It takes Two together.

I believe that’s what made this experience playing through it takes two so great. The story of it takes two is about a married couple trying to rekindle their love for one another as they traverse around their home as dolls.

The story was amazing and there are a bunch of fun little mini-games scattered throughout the game. The only real negative I have about this game (same with A Way Out), is there is really much re-playability unless you want to experience the same story again.

They do have the mini-games that you unlock and can access from the main menu, but I can’t see putting too many hours in those. Overall this game is great if you love couch co-op games and I will continue to purchase to encourage these games.

The story was great to experience, especially with your significant other. There isn’t a lot of replay value, but the story does take a while to get through. It’s worth the price at $40 and anything less is a super bargin.

Some people say you should live with a person before you get married. Others say you should take a trip riddled with delays. I think you should play this game. It starts off sad. The storyline is of a couple divorcing and their daughter wishing that her parents would put in the work rather than giving up.

The rest of the game (or at least as much as we’ve played) has been that work. This game takes communication between both players, coordinating tasks, encouraging each other, patience, so much cooperation.

Played with my fellow mid 30’s friend. He’s experienced with video games, I am not. We both have been having a lot of fun and had a hard time stopping for the evening.

It’s been quite some time since the first Valkyria Chronicles game came out, so this is a nice reminder of why I found the game so compelling. Deciding to buy the Switch version over the PS4 one, I realised how well the game works in a portable setting especially with gameplay you can just jump into anytime.

There’s a demo available which includes the first few missions for those uncertain. I’m guessing I’m about 3/4 or less of the way through the game, but it’s fairly hard to tell. The new game mechanics and units are pretty cool and are good additions to the game, adding a bit more variety besides scenario.

While there can be a few difficulty spikes they don’t seem as extreme as in the first game (so far), but the gameplay has been enjoyable, with some trickier parts, and if you missed out on the PSP games like I did then you might be a bit rusty! I’d definitely recommend doing the extra missions that unlock, as gaining experience and developing weapons make a decent difference in the campaign.

Story is pretty good so far, with a good mix of grim/lighter parts. Presentation is great (despite the rare slowdown in handheld mode) and obviously it won’t be as pretty as the console/pc versions but the art style still works well.

The music is good and suits each mission / scenariowell and the English voice acting is good and probably on par with the first. There’s an optional Japanese voice pack which can be downloaded for free for those who’d like it, although I’ve yet to try it.

Anyway, this is great for those who enjoyed the first or just want something a bit more tactical or slower paced to an action game, which feels perfect for the Switch.

This is a carbon copy of Valkyria Chronicles. Different plot, similar universe. I am over 20hr in and I have experienced similar gameplay, but expanded with new features, techniques, potentials, and functionality within the game.

This has enough new stuff (not just content) to keep the game fresh.

The art work of this game is water colored and looks amazing. This game is like chess and final fantasy had a baby. If you dont like games like final fantasy or zelda theres a good chance this game isnt for you.

So I absolutely love it, but I know people who have seen me play it say they dont even want to try it. So to each their own I guess.

I love this game, brings back soooo many great memories of playing both THPS1 & THPS2 as a kid. At that time it was nearly impossible to reach that million point mark without using cheat codes. With the “Combo Chains” in this version, it’s not hard at all to break that million.

It only took about 3-4 days to complete both THPS1 & THPS2 Tour Challenges, and that wasn’t playing but maybe a couple hours each day. BUT, even though it’s been years since I played the originals, I did still have an advantage of remembering, even a slight bit, of where or how to get certain objects in the game to complete challenges.

I love how the game has online capability. Not only can you play against your friends (both local game or online), and in the classic game modes such as HORSE, GRAFFITI, etc. , but you can also test your skills in basically an ” online solo” game.

And in the “online solo” gameplay, you can compete and compare with players from around the globe to see how fast you can complete ALL of the level challenges, or see how high of a score you can get in a “Single Session” 2 minute run.

I gotta say, now that I have beat the game(kinda sucks, wishing for a DLC), but my favorite is the “Online Solo” play and I am trying my luck at those global leaderboards! Watch out First place, I’m coming for you! The game also brought back some other favorites, besides the classic skater list, but the crate-a-skater and the crate-a-park, both of which have a plethora of items to unlock and choose from.

There are also 800+ “challenges” to complete in the game, NOT including the level challenges themselves, to unlock more content for the create-a-X options.

5 stars for the port itself. I have this game on Series X, and was worried about the performance prior to purchase. However I’m happy to say that, despite the 30fps, the port is a absolutely incredible.

It’s is extremely smooth, and the graphics look amazing for the system. It’s probably the best modern console ports I’ve seen. And again, don’t be concerned about the framerate. As someone who has played it at 120fps on Series X, I can honestly say that it feels really good on Switch at 30fps.

It may seem weird but it’s one rare game where maybe I prefer it at 30fps because the original PS1 games are ingrained in my muscle memory. It’s truly a triumph. BUT beware, the physical release has a 10Gb download required for some features, the final build is not on the cart.

Upon loading without the download the game was playable, but after the patch the resolution and performance are noticably better.

This remaster does a great job capturing the spirit of the original two Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games. I played the series on PSX/PS2, from THPS1 through Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland, with countless hours put in to each of the titles (but especially with the first four in the series).

The gameplay/trick set is roughly equivalent to THPS 3 (including flatland tricks, reverts, etc), and the skater roster borrows from that game as well (including Rodney Mullen, for example). The music from the first two games are largely intact as well, with some cool new songs thrown in.

The feel of the gameplay doesn’t seem to be copied 1:1 from any of the other THPS games, which makes me think it might have been a rebuild on some newer engine. But to my memory, the gameplay in this remaster feels extremely close to the refined and polished gameplay of the third or fourth THPS games.

I’d recommend this to anyone who was a fan of these games when they were originally released. Hopefully they put together another HD-remastered collection for THPS 3+4!.

As you may or may not know Destiny was released a year ago with much hype and praise, the game was made by Bungie and released by Activision companies that brought us Halo and many versions of Call of Duty.

The game itself is an online first person shooter and sees you and other players take on aliens gain loot take on more aliens get better loot and so on and so forth. At the original release the game was criticised for its rather lacking campaign/story and hugely repetitive mission structure, I had been expecting a space opera similar to the Halo campaigns and the multiplayer appeal of Borderlands but maybe I expected too much.

That said the gameplay and the soundtrack was excellent, the graphics also fine but like the game Rage it did not offer much interactivity. The Taken King Legendary Edition contains the original game the two expansions (The Dark Below & House of Wolves) as well as the next chapter of the Destiny saga The Taken King.

This version aims to improve the overall experience by reducing the amount of grinding that you had to (something that caused me to stop playing the game), change the levelling system back to the traditional method of gaining experience through missions/quests as opposed to mixing and matching your wardrobe to gain levels and provide more variety of opportunities to gain that experience by introducing more bounties, NPC quests etc.

Now unfortunately I have not completed the game mostly because I have not reached the max level cap which introduces further challenges and quests and I’m far too anti-social to form a fireteam and attempt the raids (multiplayer events that involve up to six players taking on some of the more challenging enemies and levels).

The gameplay mechanics themselves remain the same and is still very enjoyable and with the matchmaking system which can help you form smaller fireteams to attempt strike playlists (more challenging versions of the ‘story missions’) adding more ways to enjoy the game, the one wrinkle is the player vs.

player component of the Destiny experience the ‘Crucible’. The crucible tries to even things between new and existing players by negating levels however this does not affect the skills or item abilities you or the other players have gained, so newer players will struggle against those that have played regularly.

Now is the game worth buying? Well if you enjoy the online experience of games like Call of Duty and Borderlands than yes especially if you have not played the original than yes; you are getting a lot of content, great gameplay and fun multiplayer component (if you can build the right skills and equipment).

If your looking for a solo experience, great story and memorable characters than not really I would recommend Borderlands 2 it has similar gameplay and memorable characters as well decent humour (this along with the first Borderlands are now available for current generation consoles) or Dishonoured for its more engaging campaign and more varied gameplay.

Destiny is a very entertaining game – it has the qualities of the Halo series (no surprise given the developer is Bungie) and has a wealth of cooperative and competitive missions to enjoy. You can form fireteams with friends or strangers and carry out challenging missions together.

It does quite a good job of balancing the difficulty when you have multiple players, and the “co-op revive” in this game is sensible, so even if your fireteam can’t or doesn’t revive you when you die in battle, you still come back, but you just need to wait longer.

That brings me on to another important topic though. While the graphics are beautiful, the load times (on PS3 at least) are enormous. You need to wait so long for maps to load that there is an in-game cut scene of space ships flying around that can’t be skipped for maybe 15-20 seconds each time you go to a new map.

Opening the game itself takes quite a while too. And that’s all after the installation process – even without the expansions the installation requires download and installation of more than one 5-10 GB patch before you can start playing.

So this is a game only for patient people (on PS3 at least). Speaking of expansions, so much of the game content is in the expansions that you will find it irritating quite quickly if you don’t buy a version that is new / sealed with codes.

Second hand copies, whatever they might say on the box (Vangard, Legendary, Taken King, Complete), are really just the base “Destiny” game without any expansions because once the codes are used, they’re used.

Also the PS3 version may have slow loading times and less good graphics (they’re good for a PS3 game), but it’s also the only version with free online play, and this game pretty much requires online play.

If you buy on PS4, Xbox 360 or Xbox One you need PS+ or Xbox Live Gold in order to play with others. So with the couple of caveats mentioned, this is a great game!.

To me, this game is a mixture of Halo, Diablo and Armored Core. No, you don’t use mechs, and yes, it takes place in the future, and you get to travel to planets and ride around on something akin to a speeder from Star Wars.

All of this is awesome. What sold me on this, a first person shooter with loot and cool skills, are the jet packs. Titans and Warlocks can boost in the air – this is what reminded me of Armored Core, although this game doesn’t have aim assist like Armored Core did, and for good reason.

It would be too easy. As far as the story goes, like Armored Core, a lot of it is told through a few cinematics and radio from your superiors. You get to meet them at the Tower, but they don’t have that much to say.

If you want to invest in the story of the world, however – it is there. You can read cards you collect through gameplay. And the most killer thing about this game is that it has an iOS or Android mobile app you can use to post to forums or read the cards you collect, change your gear around.

I feel like this is what has been missing from every loot based game or MMO I have every played. I require an app now, for any involved console game I play, and we’ll see if that happens. For right now, Destiny really delivers – cool looking worlds, mobile app companion, really fun repeatable gameplay and tons of options for game types.

And, oh yeah, jet packs!.

This game might be my favorite of all time. No game allows the player to have near as much open world freedom and fun with friends, and accommodates any playstyle. Do you like hacking and slashing AI controlled monsters and engaging in 1500s naval combat with cannons and pirate ships? This is the perfect game.

Do you like relaxing on paradise like islands with little animals and fishing in front of the sunset? This is the perfect game. Maybe you’re more into heists, stealing gold from vaults and other players.

You can do that in this game. It has everything. It’s beautiful, allows the player to involve themselves in whatever level of action they want, and all while being online and with friends. Incredible stuff.

My first experience with Sea of Thieves was on Xbox Gamepass Ultimate. I honestly had no idea that Microsoft had created such a well crafted game exclusively for the Xbox ecosystem. It is games like this that make me proud to be an owner of an Xbox Series X console.

This game has many modes of play: Sick of grief gamers? Just jump on a sloop and run solo missions until you make Pirate Legend. Want some company? Then you should choose an “Open Crew” and a Galleon that can hold up to four players.

The detail in the game is what gets me. I can still remember the first time I dove into the dark ocean, after a crewmate yelled “Ship sighted!” I found myself holding my Series X controller close to my body, eyes wide open, as I twisted and turned with my character who swam into the lower levels of the capsized, sunken galleon.

If there was treasure to be found in this skeleton of a ship I was going to find it! I was impressed by how your character begins drowning slowly if you stay underwater for too long. Again, the details in this game make it great.

The water looks amazing. Also, the weather changes in the game. You’ll find yourself telling crewmates to climb up into the crow’s nest and give you a compass reading once the creepy fog rolls in and envelops your ship.

After playing this game for a few months on Gamepass I just had to buy the physical copy. If you’re into games that are fun, adventure-filled, but at the same time lighthearted at times; you should probably pick this game up!.

The game is fun, interesting , and completely free after initial purchase. It has great animation. You can play some crazy missions and fight creatures like megalodons , kraken, skeletons, ghost ships, and other crazy things.

Or you can just run small merchant deliveries, go fishings, sail the seas and relax hearing the ocean noises. I gave it a lower review because the community is really toxic. You may join random people on a ship and have a great time.

Or you can get stuck with random people who want to troll you the whole time and make you miserable. Also their are alot of players in the game who just cruise around sinking ships for no reason. Even you are just fishing.

They’ll come to your ship, kill you , and sink your ship just for existing. The game itself is great. It’s the people that ruin it.

I bought this game when it was first released. I bought it again as a gift for a fellow gamer who is not as big a fighting game fan as I am. The game has been out for two years now, but for twenty bucks you get the legendary edition, which includes ALL the characters.

This is one of my all time favorite console fighting games, and i have dozens. I rank this up there with Street Fighter 2 Championship Edition. This is a superb game. Graphics: awesome. Controls: precise.

Story: good ( for a fighting game ). As an old school gamer I’d knock off a half star because I don’t like having to pay for some extras like characters and skins( costumes ). There was a time you’d earn these things by simply being good at the game, but I realize those days are gone.

The characters look and even sound great. When connected to a home theatre system you really can appreciate every thud and every crunching blow, especially from the stronger characters. The incredible super moves are easy to pull off and will fill your screen and your speakers.

And keep your ears open for Jeffery Combs of Reanimator fame. I do not play online so I can’t comment on that aspect. I also have the the new Mortal Kombat (11) ,which is very good, but I still prefer to play Injustice 2.

Any true fighting game fan likely already has this game,but if you know one that doesn’t or someone who does not usually play fighters, do them a favor and and get them Injustice 2 Legendary Edition.

If you were to play the first game and the new one back to back, you would be set aback at how different they are. Injustice 2 fixes most if not all of the problems with the original. The gameplay is very responsive and streamlined such that anyone can pick up the game and learn to play a fighter.

The combo system is set as a dial a combo, meaning that if you had trouble doing combos in guilty gear, street fighter, or king of fighters, you won’t have to worry as much as you can input the commands for the combo and they will play out for you.

The graphics for the new game are vastly improved as the original was bland and darker color palettes were used. The new game has very realistic facial models, realistic body proportions, even for women which Netherrealms has always struggled with.

The best improvment though are the colors, which are varied, with many warms and brights. Much like Netherealms recent track recor has shown, even if you aren’t a fan of multiplayer, the story mode for this game is pretty great, it’s at 3-4 hours with replayability, and there’s even a story mode for every character in the form of multiverses, which reward players with new gear for every character.

Lastly the gear system in this game allows you to customize all the outfits and even the special attacks of all the characters in the games. The premium gear sets even change the character themselves, mostly visual.

An example of this is a premium outfit for the flash is reverse flash, and even the voice actor was changed for the outfit. All in all, if you are a DC fan, or a fighting game fan, do yourself a favor and get this game.

I do recommend the Ultimate edition as well as the value is certainly there, they put a lot of love into the DLC characters, even characters like Sub-Zero that might feel like a lazy pull, he plays great!.

It’s a brainless superhero fighting game. at least, I thought that was the extent of the game. I was way wrong. The story mode plot is intelligently-designed and multi-faceted, and it can go in more than one direction.

The characters and highly-customizable (even alternate versions for characters, e. g. , Power Girl, Black Lightning, Grid, etc. , and the alternates have their very own Super Moves). The pre-fight interactions between the characters was also unexpected, and the interactivity WITH the arenas was a great touch (you can throw objects, jump off objects, and hit your opponent into a totally different part of the arena).

I was leery about paying extra for the Legendary version, but it’s definitely worth it, in my opinion. Nods to Mortal Kombat, Killer Croc and TMNT were very well done. If you have pre-teen kids, be aware of some teenage verbiage, especially in the story mode (“suck”, “a–“, “d—“, “h—“, and maybe even a “s—” or two).

Great game, overall, and I’d definitely recommend it.

A fun little Souls-light game. It’s not nearly as difficult as a Fromsoft game, but it certainly won’t be a walk in the park for most players, either. It’s relatively short length was a huge plus for me – nice to also see a physical release for this on the Xbox platform.

as many indies go digital only these days on Xbox. An unexpected bonus – this game reminded me of the days of my youth reading the Redwall novels by Brian Jacques. If you can handle the above average combat difficulty, absolutely recommended.

If you hate difficult combat, I’d advise you to stay clear of this one.

I loved Tails of Iron. To say it’s a souls like is a bit of a stretch but it is not without some challenge. The art style and story are incredible, and the combat is like a dance, one you realize this game is not a hack-and-slash.

Another highlight of this game was that Geralt of Rivia narrates it. Great game that you shouldn’t pass up the opportunity to play.

This is a great “metroidvania” game that clearly takes some inspiration from the Dark Souls franchise when it comes to combat and difficulty. The game can be a little buggy at times, and it only took me about 6 hours to fully 100% the game.

Granted this isn’t a $60 game, but if you’re looking for more content, I’d look elsewhere.

I purchased this product with the intention that it was a game. I must have overlooked the print of it being an add on it’s not a game. Meaning you can download fortnite for free and this is for you to add more product to your character.

I’m glad I had bought other games along with this. My kid still liked it. If you are looking for this product Walmart again has the best price vs all other retailers. Keep in mind it is only an add on.

Typically 24. 99 on the game or in stores however I found it on clearance at Walmart for 16 dollars and it was well worth it! Multiple skins, coins to buy other stuff, and accessories. No actual disk it’s just a code in a case.

Fortnite in general is a great game for parents to enjoy with their kids!.

got game for my son for Christmas and watched him open it up with so much excitement but there was a problem the disk itself was missing. The insert was there but no disk. With walmarts policy of if the seal has been broke there is nothing that can be done basically that leaves us having to buy it again and pray the next one has a disk inside.

Positives: Graphics are an upgraded version of the last game, I’m not complaining it’s beautiful. The music in this game plays so well alongside what you’re doing in game it’s excellently done. The story is great, fun to play but you will check out on the second play through and skip the scenes.

The social side is a little easier, communities easy to find on PS4 so you can grab a raid team and play. Hopefully they’ll develop the guided raids and just give us a strike style fireteam system. Negatives: –Bugs! Honestly if you have a technicolor or Thompson router don’t get this yet, it doesn’t work properly for you, game is playable but you will be booted mid mission A LOT work around available but tiresome, it will be fixed soon enough though and after that it’s a 4* game.

— After Game, basically there’s about 10 hours of after game play missions wise, still able to PVP and PVE but eventually you’ll be seeing nothing, bungie have said they’re aware of this so hopefully they will expand the game for us all.

If both of those are fixes this is genuinely a 5* game I love it when I can play!.

Personally, I do not like Destiny 2. I loved Destiny Taken King. The senseless grind to get powerful gear is so annoying that I stopped playing this stupid game. In few hours I was able to finish the game and then you are left with repetitive grind which after playing for hours often give you gear that you don’t need because of the idiotic random drop.

If you want to play crucible then you pretty much want to be either Hunter or Titan. Warlocks get owned in crucible. Unfortunately, I like warlock so I played mostly Gambit after finishing the campaign which is the only part that I liked about Destiny2.

I hope that people from Bungie buy ESO and learn from it. ESO give you content and the interface is very intuitive. You can connect with other players so easily.

Its got bugs and the PVP kind of sucks. Leveling is difficult and the free world is limited. That being said I love the game and play it for hours on end. I think the game will get better with age as the developers listen to the community.

The game gives you weekly challenged and there is always something new to discover. Like I said if you love the original the sequel is more of the same but better done. You wind up running out of space to explore but with two expansion packs coming the game has a lot of play ability.

As far as being a good first person PVP shooter its OK, there will be better games coming. As far as being a good game its pretty good and if you loved the original Density you will love this game.

I really like this game & enjoy playing it, I would enjoy it even more if the disk I bought wasnt full of scratches & actually worked. Now I have to order another one.

great game with lots to do and see. awesome to get new houses, cars, and jobs. i love this game. so detailed and you can even hire a maid and call the police and fire dept. i couldnt ask for a better game that is a family game that you dont have to worry about swearing and violence.

I bought this game for my daughter and she loves it. I previously purchased the Sims 2 and my daughter played it maybe once or twice. My daughter plays this game every chance she gets and claims that it’s one of her favorite games now.

I’ve been playing Destiny since the beta. I used to get the expansion right away as I was an avid fan, but now I wait until their on sale, as I found that it was just getting much for not allot of what I was actually paying for at full price.

It’s a first person shooter, which is not a game type I generally go too. So you can still enjoy it even if it your normal game type. The story is good, but I find it choppy and sometimes hard to get the full story as some of its only told through written text that you need to find these hidden fragments.

So sometimes they can be missed until you just randomly find it. The one thing I would like to be changed is some of the events that you need to complete needs 6 gamers, so it’s hard to get that at the same time if you don’t have any gaming friends.

Though some of the smaller events have random match making so you can complete the task, I just wish they had that for the larger raids. #xbox #gaymer #videogames #mmos #destiny.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. I downloaded the demo and played it and even the demo is a massive selling point. I instantly wanted to buy the game and all the DLC, which I did and I tell you now, it does not disappoint.

The base game of destiny tells the story of the Traveller and your Guardian, trying to defend this orb in the sky from many unwanted forces; in short term. The Dark Below tells a story of a new guardian at the tower, Eris, who reveals a compelling information about a group of enemies, called the Hive who are redirecting an ancient demigod called Crota.

House of Wolves is an interesting story, maybe not my favourite, but very good by itself. Its about a rascal called Skolas who has escaped the Prison of the Elders. You are desired to stop him before he grows an army stronger than ever.

The Taken King makes this game for me. It continues on the story from the Dark Below. It also brings new armour, content, emotes, weapons and more. Oryx, Crotas father is looking for revenge against the Guardians for everything that happened in the Dark Below.

The fight against Oryx at the end is just absolutely sensational. One of my favourite game moments. The new Rise of Iron brings a few beloved guns from the base game, and vamps them up a little. It also includes content which mostly describes the story of the Iron Lords battle against the Fallen.

If you do all this, you gain the authority of being an Iron Lord. Overall, you wont be at fault for buying this game with its DLC. All those false reviews youve been reading on the internet, its just from a point of view where someone has too high expectations for a game which are unrealistic.

Worth all the money spent.

I am what most call a year one guardian. I hopped on the hype train and haven’t gotten off since. I was impressed with the starting story and over the years and multiple expansions I find Bungie keeps raising the bar for the most part.

The in game events give me some awesome things to look forward to, be it the weekly Trials, monthly return of Iron Banner, SRL in the winter, Festival of the Lost during Halloween or the “hopeful” return of Crimson doubles for Valentines day.

The last two expansions, for me, were amazing. Characters in the game that seemed to take more of a backseat where given time to shine. Cayde 6, Eris and thanks to a certain story mission in the Rise of Iron expansion.

my beloved Ghost, have quickly become some of my favorites in the game. I am one of those who blows through leveling my character and completing the story in two days, so I do feel the lag in content is sometimes too long.

But even so, I still am on everyday doing bounties and playing crucible or strikes. There is always a new perfect roll on a game weapon that I am going for. When Im not doing that, I am watching others play on Twitch.

lol The character customization is great. So many different armor and shader combos that allow you to really make your guardian “yours”. I could really go on forever about this game, the funny, very quotable lines, shaders, story, the BEAUTIFUL planets, raids, strikes, crucible, and the truly amazing community that has come together around a great game.

The price is a bit high but the experience you will have playing the game is more than worth it. Hours upon hours. or in my case and many others, years upon years, of game play. I cannot wait to see what comes next!.

I preordered this game before it launched. I got the Savini Jason. When your playing this game, as a Jason, naturally its time to clap some cheeks. The issues with this game occured more so after the lawsuit they faced.

People troll, lobbied up people giving out random players locations to win, people found ways to cheat the game, cheat the system by sitting in glitches the whole 20 minute match. They took away the dedicated servers so now if the host quits the game the whole lobby closes.

Its annoying we still have bugs, glitches, problems, etc. When I play and I am in the zone, peeps will close a lobby because they died, the way they died, trash talk you to death, assult you verbally, etc.

It is overall a very good game if they continue the upkeep for it. They had another in the works but ended up getting hit with another lawsuit if they continued, which sucks. This game is best played with 8 friends you know or LFG lobbies instead of multiplayer lobbies.

I have heard about the Friday the 13th game since back when it was first announced. When they finally released a Switch version, I had to pick it up. The majority of the game is online. There is a single player campaign where you play as Jason in scenarios with objectives (kill the counselors without being seen, throw someone into the fire, etc) and you can replay them over and over to try to complete all of the achievements and earn points you can use to unlock new costumes, weapons and skills.

Just note. there is no single-player experience where you can play offline as a counselor. You are strictly stuck with Jason. The development team has stated that getting the AI correct for Jason was impossible and would have made the game feel broken, so they stuck to only giving you control of Jason.

However, online is a completely different story! You can join lobbies or get randomly paired into a lobby for a quick match. Only one person will be assigned Jason and the rest are counselors. I honestly don’t know who I prefer to play as more online as both Jason and the counselors have their own sets of skills and gameplay styles.

As a counselor, you can choose to work together or try to play on your own. There is voice chat so you can talk to others and try to form strategies. sometimes you need to get gas and find the car keys so you can start the car and escape with your friends.

You may also choose to radio for the police and try to survive until they arrive. All of these options make the counselor fun and then being hunted by Jason adds terror the entire time. you never know where he will pop up! All in all, I bought this game for $20 and then used a $5 reward, so I ended up paying $15 and feel it’s well worth it! If you are on the fence, hold off on a good sale as I think you’ll be in for a real treat!.

I could probably come up a lot of adjectives to describe Friday the 13th, but Ill settle for just one: BROKEN. It is indisputably the most buggy game Ive played in years. Since it was released last year, Gun Media developers have attempted to patch the game with updates addressing an array of game-breaking bugs.

Among these include glitches that let players teleport to the rooftops, get pinned underneath piers, and murder your own teammates, the latter which led to widespread griefing. If you play as Jason, expect just as much frustration.

In the middle of a match playing as Jason, my buttons completely quit working other than the joystick, so I could only play hide and seek with everyone instead of murder them. When Jason actually does work, chances are good youll kill a counselor and their body will turn into a ragdoll and rocket into the air because their physics engine is a joke.

Staying connected to a match is more than a challenge. The servers do not attempt to find another host from the available connections when a host leaves the game (unlike most other multiplayer games).

Your game will end abruptly and youll lose all the XP you worked hard to acquire. This happens very, very often. Even without the outstanding bugs, there are some frustrating gameplay mechanics that could be better.

Hiding from Jason is useless since he has the ability to see buildings where people are hiding and if it isnt a huge lodge he will easily find you. If its a tent or outhouse then youre screwed. When it works its a fun game that keeps the adrenaline pumping.

The developers have promised a single player update later this summer but since its nearly an entire year later Im thinking thats still in alpha (I dont think its ever going to be released). As it stands this is not a $40 title (current price at most retailers) and is probably worth $20 tops.

The graphics are not really that good for a game released in 2017. Gun Media has been aware of bounding box glitches for most of the games retail lifespan but as a counselor it is still (as of Feb 2018) possible to climb on top of bookshelves and rafters out of Jasons reach.

They seem to fix one thing and break three other things. If you can withstand some occasional frustration, this can be a fun game.

Having downloaded the free trail, I got a little taste for the game. I read up on the reviews and they wasn’t good. But still, purchased the game via Argos at a good price. Played it, played it again, and again.

This game to me seems very addictive and can’t put it down!! I love the battlefield games, also Gears of war, but recore is quite different. Platform puzzlers are my kind of game. It can get samey, but can’t help playing it over and over again.

Fantastic game! I’m not one to complete a game to 100% and I will admit, I still didn’t with this game. However, I do plan on going back to complete it. I had a lot of fun with this game. The storyline was entertaining and I loved the robot companions.

The music is also great. The reason for the 4 star is because this game does have bugs. I got stuck in the first 2 minutes of the game. Luckily I just restarted it. I have a friend who got half way and got stuck and stopped playing.

Graphics are great, story is decent and gameplay is exactly what Ive been looking for in a game. I play it like I play DMC, shooting and jumping a lot. Love the game, cant find anything bad to say about it so far.
