This is by far the best online multi player game there is. The graphics are very nice. You can Talk to others while you play online in live action. For any ages to play has a great community and very well priced.

I would recommend any one to play.

I brought this for my Son’s last Christmas. Then my youngest son has asked for it this Christmas. My boys loved it ,you get skins and vbucks to spend.

Yeah, its okay. I love the campaign and for what its worth id buy the game again solely for the story. But what they did to this game in terms of microtransactions should be illegal. They locked characters behind paywalls and some that were obtainable by in game currency where locked behind a certain time frame that was something wild like 2 days.

You get max a couple coins per multiplayer match and they wanted you to get like 1000 to 2000 in under 2 days for this character which prompted people to buy these chest like candy and then for them to later release the character for a “scrap” fee.

“Scrap” is a more easily obtained in game currency. Its dirty. Super dirty but I guess its peoples fault they fell for it. On the other hand I had absolutely no faults in the story mode it was great! Maybe pick this game up for that.

I am only a few hours into this, and I can say I am liking this MUCH better than the 1st. Difficulty is more balanced in the beginning of the game. Leveling up skills makes a big difference getting Aiden through the world & fighting, & making the parkour much smoother/tighter.

The story is more simplistic & focused, which I also like. I’m sure it’ll get even better once I level Aiden up more, & get the grappling hook & paraglider. But. I HATE the auto-save feature in this game.

It might make me rage quit and never go back. If I put this game aside and not finish it, it’ll be because of the horrible auto-saving in this game. For one, the auto-save icon is so small I can’t even tell when it’s saving, so I never know how much time I’ll have to re-play the game when I have to go somewhere & turn it off.

I lost over half an hour of progress due to this, and if that happens too many times, I’ll be putting this game aside and playing one of the many other great games coming out this month. With the current technology in today’s day & age, manually saving (even saving while shutting down) should be a mandatory thing in most large open world games.

At least let me make the Save Icon larger, so I can SEE it. Oh, and that leads to my other complaint. This almost seems like a port from a PC game, because the text is “too small to read,” even though I have it set to large.

The subtitles are okay, but when it explains attacks and such, some of the hints & tips are just TOO SMALL, and I cannot see how to do things, like how to execute certain lunge attacks and whatnot. So, I love most of this game (so far), but 2 of my complaints have to do with the save icon and text being way TOO SMALL, & it doesn’t auto-save enough (& I can’t see when it does).

Maybe when I can fast travel it won’t be a problem anymore, because then I can just fast travel to a safe house and sleep, in which sleeping forces the game to save. Hopefully that’s soon, because I want to like this game.

I’m prefacing this review with the fact I’ve only played through the tutorial. But, after talking several hours to get through the tutorial, and the fact the busted coop has prevented me playing more, I thought it would be important to review.

Game is probably actually great if it works, but it’s currently busted and the last patch that “fixed” the issue did not in fact “fix” the coop. My issue in particular – I either freeze up upon loading OR I get booted via disconnect from my friends game.

Repeatedly. I’m playing in Halo Series X Xbox, and every other game has no issue with online play so it’s definitely this game. I have a full squad of friends I want to play with, and I can’t. It’s a super bummer and who knows when it will be fixed.

Second, I feel like I can actually write a gameplay/story review because the tutorial is HOURS long for absolutely no reason. I’m thinking the devs believe the story is stronger than it is, but it is – not good.

The whole flashback stuff includes perhaps the most annoying character since Claptrap. I have sat through many bad stories in games, but this is just so bad and the characters stink. Gameplay is fun and if you like single player, you’ll have fun.

I’m not grading the game on gameplay, but in technical issues disallowing me to play with friends, along with a far too long tutorial and crappy characters.

I really wanted a 4. 5 review. Part 1 was just so good and it’s not easy to match it. 7 years they had to really give us a bang for our buck. While I love many aspects of the game, I find myself wishing certain things were like part 1 and it starts to feel lacking, or a chore when it should feel fun! The parkour is super fun, however because traversing is more important then health you tend to level up stamina.

Which if gud enough you will be ok. The more you play the easier the game gets. However it’s missing something that makes me want to keep playing. I find myself taking long breaks and if I am really into the game I don’t do this! It’s worth the money and is super fun but the things I loved are not in this game.

You were scared and careful at night, now long as you play on the rooftops you will be ok. Nothing scares you or gets your. It puckered up anymore. The night zombies though are overpowered and even when leveled up they can kill you quick! It’s supposed to feel rewarding leveling up and getting stronger.

It feels like leveling up just gives you permission to finally enter areas you couldn’t without getting killed by enemies way tougher then you. So I ended up skipping an entire area which ai never do.

People now think grinding and roaming are the game, I still say for me, not really. I always say ai just wanna play the game! Then people say grinding and looting is the game. Anyways if you loved dying light buy this game!.

I would rate this game a 7 out of 10. The thing I enjoy most about this game is the massive and beautiful open world. There is just an awesome sense of freedom and exploitability in this game whether you are flying down the mountains or racing across the desert.

The actual gameplay is decent. I enjoy the snow races the most, and I also feel it is the most realistic out of all the different sports. The mass races are a chaotic mess but in the most awesome way possible.

But other than the mass races I am not a fan of the competitive feel in this game, or the lack there of. There are not many multiplayer events, and this game doesn’t even keep track of stats. My biggest problem with this game is the blatant micro-transactions and the lack of earned cosmetics.

The costumes are ridiculous, and all the good ones are locked behind a paywall. It is really sickening. However, I did have a blast playing this game, and it is overall pretty good.

A blast once all event types are unlocked. Great visuals, even on PS4. Simple to start controls with room for plenty of player expression when it comes to tricks. Took a star off for the aggressive monetization (par for the course with most modern games, especially for Ubisoft) & bland single player story.

If you’re buying this for your kids, be sure to unlink those credit cards from their online accounts. Also no split screen option is a huge bummer for this kind of game. This is a single player only experience.

This is the game I have been waiting been waiting for since Downhill Domination and SSX Tricky on the PS2. This is made by the same developers that made Steep, and while you can feel their influence, this game does feel different than Steep.

The control scheme is different but you do have the option to go back to Steep controls which is a nice addition. Overall this game amps up the crazy and feels like a nice blend of old school EA BIG style games with some nice modern controls.

My kids used their own saving to buy this game. After they downloaded it, they were surprised to learn that they need to buy a membership as well with monthly fee 11$. This was not mentioned anywhere.

This disonesty was shocking for them. Now I need to find out how to get the money back. A am not very optimistic about the outcome.

I had no idea an xbox live gold subscription is required to play Fortnite on xbox, at least not until I received the game. It doesn’t state this on your website. Maybe it’s common knowledge amongst gamers.

But if your not a gamer and just shopping for a gamer, it’d be nice to know before purchasing the game.

Fortnite is a free and online game. Of course this is just an accessory bundle. the game is free for download. and yes. of course you need a live subscription for xbox. because it’s a multiplayer online game.

The gameplay is really nice. Endgame is very lacking, and I’m using the term “end” very loosely here. It’s actually halfway the game where it already dries up. It’s early access though, so I didn’t take that into account for the score.

95% of your progression is either time-gated, or pay-gated. So if you don’t want to spend money, prepare for the biggest timegates of your life. Without spending money, you’ll be able to earn the equivalent of 50 cents per day in Llamas, Fortnite’s version of Loot crates like in CS:GO or Dota 2.

Except here it’s not cosmetics that drop from them, but real items. Items that can be trashed instantly or are the best item you will never replace. Or somewhere in between. I wouldn’t say it’s Pay-to-Win, but it’s definitely a huge help to spend a lot of money.

They’re currently working on it, and to be fair to Epic, they’re frequently pushing patches to fix a lot of annoying bugs. Or cool bugs that make some maps tolerable (because some map designs are horrible).

The gameplay is extremely well done though and, in my opinion, more than makes up for a lot of shortcomings. Just not enough. Unless you’re into crazy grindy games like me, skip this one for the foreseeable future.

This is a pretty Simple game unless like me, you aren’t a good builder due to the fact that building IS a huge part of this, it can be an issue (lol). My favorite thing about this game is that it is or can be if you choose a “Multi-Player” game meaning that I can make my/our teams with my real life friends family.

I play with my brother and nephews and my niece, that live in a different State and it literally makes it feel like they are right there. For myself- it’s a bonding time as well. 🕹🎮 Personally, I don’t consider it to be violent only because it’s not real life crime to me.

I don’t consider it real life violence. However, I consider more as a cartoon violence so it really depends on personal preference. I find this game fun for most and VERY interactive. Unfortunately, my hands are weak (arthritis) so sadly, it can make playing very hard especially again, the building! I’m not good @ Building things my attention spans really sucks, lol ( probably does for many others).

I’ve been playing this game for over 4 years now and it’s the most innovative, creative and on vogue game that I’ve ever played. More appropriate for 13+ ages. Game constantly updating avatars and game play, adding variety and diverse ideas and themes.

Developers do listen to their players and you don’t have to spend a cent to play it since downloading the game and online interactions like multiplayer is Free! Game combines shooting and building modes which makes it challenging.

Avatar modifications are always creative and stylish. I do recommend this game but now for little kids, although there’s no gory materials nor foul language from game, the adult online interactions are almost impossible to control.

It also comes with three character skins, and various skins for pickaxes and gliders. The most odd part is that it’s sold in a game case; it’s literally a Switch game case with the code on a piece of paper inside.

But, it’s at least a spare case in the event you need to store a game cartridge inside of it.

What a great pack! Loved dropping into Chapter 3 wearing my Minty Aura. Other skins are good, Oro really fits in well with the mint effect. Brite Bomber also looks pretty cool. Gifted my friend the battle pass with the VBucks as I already had it.

I called Microsoft spoke to a couple of people even spoke to a manager, they confirmed that my card number was on a profile with Xbox I explain to them that I don’t have a profile with Xbox I don’t even own an Xbox and I’ve never owned an Xbox, they informed me that they could not remove my card my debit card from my bank account from this random persons account because I didn’t have this random person‘s email address or this random person‘s phone number.

So therefore I couldn’t access their account even though they are using my money, and my card to buy stuff on their account. I think this is extremely unprofessional, encourages fraud behavior, encourages theft behavior because all this does is protect the thief, and does nothing to the person that has been stolen from.

This console is what they say it is and more! The graphics on this console from games that are optimized or made for the Series X is above par and well worth its weight in Gold! The speed of it is like they bottled of The Flash and put him to work inside! The lock isn’t as sleek as the PS5’s air purifier look but with a good Skin it turns out to be an awesome addition to my entertainment center.

Here is the breakdown! Graphics: If you are moving from the original xbox or xbox one to the series x you will notice a huge difference in graphics even on a TV that isn’t built for 4K viewing. If you are moving from the One X to the Series X you will notice some changes only to the games that are built or Optimized for the Series X but all games feel better with the speed you gain.

I would give the speed a 5 out of 5 star!! If they can learn to make the loading times even faster then boy are we in for some great experiences in the future! Games: This is where, as of now, I have to say I wish there was more to offer! Game Pass alone is awesome for those who are new to xbox.

They will have 100’s of games available the day they turn on their console that they could experience for the 1st time and that is by far better than any gaming console on the market today. For example you could be playing Halo 5 and decide you want to play GTA 4 (an Xbox 360 game) you’ll switch to gta 4 and if you decide to return to halo 5 you’ll continue right from where you left off.

The console is also capable of displaying games (that allow it) at 4K resolution and 120fps if you have a tv that supports it. If not the console still works on a standard 1080p or 720p tv you just won’t get that premium image quality and smooth gameplay.

I would recommend buying this over the Xbox series s as the series x is more powerful and will run games way better than the series s but if you are on a budget the series s is ok as well but do know that it does not have a disk drive so you will only be able to play digital copies of games instead of both physical and digital.

Since I currently own all three of the xbox one x, series s and series x (seriously microsoft can you get any lazier with the naming?) I thought I would take a second to give my two cents on the series s console as it compares and relates to its xbox brethren.

So first off what exactly is the Xbox Series S and where does it fit into the rest of the Xbox family? The Series S is one of microsoft’s two new next gen (current gen by now?) consoles as it looks to phase out the older Xbox One models.

Its serves as the entry level next gen console sorta like the little brother to the much more powerful, flagship Series X console. Basically an all digital, disc free upgrade to the older Xbox One family.

It brings advancements such as ray tracing, 3d audio, nvme ssd and faster gpu at the cost of storage and performance. In all honesty, the little brother doesn’t really play in the same league as its bigger brother so its actually much more logical to compare it to the One X since both price and performance falls into a much closer spectrum to see if its worth upgrading for you.

PROS:- The new Xbox Series S brings a host of advancements over the previous console cycle. Primarily and most obviously noticeable is that it is faster. Like, much faster. In fact that is the first thing everyone that has used mine says within the first 5 minutes.

The new console clocks in with a GPU that is 393Mhz faster than a One X as well as a CPU that is roughly 1. 5x faster. Add to that advanced NVME SSD and load times are drastically cut down from older consoles, so much so that it is seriously hard to sit and stare at loading screens for more than 20 seconds anymore.

You also get the newer version of the Xbox wireless controller and much improved app support for all your streaming needs.

All of this at price that is much more palatable than the Series X and about that of a new One X (if you can find one). Add to that full backwards compatibility for both gaming and hardware and you can see the many benefits to upgrading.

However, that price point does come at some compromises. CONS:- There are some trade offs to having a reasonable price point and smaller profile. Primarily the Series S is not a true 4k console. Output resolution is limited 1440p compared to 4k capabilities of the One X.

However don’t forget you have a much faster refresh rate which leads to far smoother gameplay and that is going to be much noticeable than the dip in resolution which really requires a higher end tv to make a difference.

Another big difference is the obvious lack of a disc drive. Given the push towards digital gaming this may or may not matter to you, but any older games you still have on disc are basically useless and forget about using it as your 4k blu ray player.

Although you can still access streaming services such as Netflix etc. Lastly for a system that is all digital you are definitely going to run into memory storage issues. With 512Gb of internal storage off the shelf there is going to be constant shuffling of what games you keep installed on your system.

Considering most games are now in the 50-75Gb range and can often be much higher this could be quite the issue. VERDICT:- In conclusion the Series S is definitely a step up and into the next console generation.

Although the resolution is actually lower than an older One X model this is not truly noticeable unless you have a very good newer TV. What is very noticeable is the processing speed and 120Hz refresh rate which any gamer will tell you makes a much bigger difference to the overall experience and the Series S shines here.

And until you actually experience it you can’t imagine the huge difference the loading times make, it is like old school dial up compared to 5g internet. Once you get used to it you really can’t go back.

So depending on what your budget and requirements are the Series S is totally and upgrade to the One X and unless you have spent $1000+ on a tv that is no more than year old and have another $600+ to spend on the flagship Series X this might very well be the console for you! A great way to experience the benefits of next gen gaming without breaking the bank.

Honestly, the Series S isn’t really my thing. The purchase came mainly for my partner and our kids, who see great use out of it. It offers a good price > performance ratio and will likely keep many people happy, though as I’m more of an enthusiast with the hobby, had I been purchasing for myself, I’d have gone with a Series X or a PS5 as I already have a more than capable enough for my needs PC for gaming.

Given my partner and kids don’t particularly care for tinkering with graphical options, framerate / performance or resolution, they get a lot out of this purchase. It has a modern look and small form factor, which means it fits nicely within our entertainment centre.

If yours isn’t too open, I’d consider sticking it on the surface / top of your TV stand to retain good airflow and disperse heat more efficiently. I think the two main killers for me with this one despite mainly being on PC and why I wouldn’t purchase it for myself, is the lack of an optical drive for one, which I feel was one of consoles greatest strengths, the ability to purchase digitally or physically was a big boon that I feel consumers lose with this model.

That, and the paltry 512GB of space which, actually comes down to around 370GB or so after UI and OS is accounted for, just isn’t good enough. This is a system that’ll sell itself on being a cheap entry point into Game Pass yet so many games these days average at around 50 – 60GB + and some in Microsoft’s first-party portfolio are in the 100GB range.

I know these consoles are sold at a loss, but the lack of extra space and the fact that a 1TB compatible SSD will set you back another £200? I’d say just go for the Series X if you’re more than casual / light gamer.

You’ll retain the option to purchase physical games and have more than enough storage for the price of entry. All in all, it’s a good casual system at a great price point that’ll work out quite well I imagine for teens, children and people within your family that game lightly.

For those more invested in the hobby, I’d say wait for or try to find a Series X instead should you be in a position to afford it as the benefits, which aren’t only an optical drive and storage space, we’re talking a big performance bump here, offset the cast massively.

As once said by Joshua. Strange game. The only wining move is not to play. The Campaign mode is a lesson in frustration even on the easy setting. I have played Halo games on Legendary and got through the campaigns.

I have also played Gears on Experienced and Insane. Doom on ultraviolence and nightmare. So I know what fun difficulty can be. However the campaign mode on Battlefield 5 is NOT fun at all. I loved the Battlefield 4 campaign mode.

Luckily I got this “free” with game pass. After a two days of constantly dying by one shot of the enemy and them not dying after three shots from me I deleted the game off my hard drive. I cannot recommend this game for the campaign mode.

You know, I’ve played every Battlefield game ever. I’m not saying that to garner credibility, I’m just saying it so you understand I’m a series fan. I often buy Battlefield games on PC, PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

Even the awful Battlefront games. When EA went full blown Social Justice Warrior about pushing females into the forefront of WW2 combat, there was some fan backlash. Then they told the fans that they were uneducated morons and if they didn’t like it, don’t buy it.

Okay, if you follow the gaming industry at all, you know EA is pretty much awful in every sense of the word. Not because of politics, but because they gobble up game studios and force them to churn out unfinished products with ridiculously aggressive monetization of core content through micro-transactions.

Look at what happened to Bioware with Mass Effect 3. EA took a series that basically sold itself on a large scale, and ruined the credibility of the studio and the IP in one pass. So throw on top of that the blatant disrespect to their fan base in Battlefield, with regards to the SJW controversy, and I decided I had enough.

I passed on Battlefield V, as did so many others. EA felt the sting, and hopefully they’ll learn from it. Now, desperate to sell copies of this game, the price consistently drops to $30. Similar to Mass Effect 3, it’s hard to pass up on a AAA title when they drop the price by half, even when you know the reviews are poor generally.

In a moment of weakness, I picked up the game. I still play Battlefield 4 on a regular basis, and occasionally still play Battlefield 1. I had been craving new Battlefield fun, and I love WW2 games generally.

I just couldn’t resist. I threw the disc in my Xbox One X, hooked up to my Samsung OLED 4k TV with HDR. My face tingled as I anticipated the awe inspiring experience of playing a new Battlefield game in 2019 on the best hardware.

Note: I have a beefy PC as well, but I don’t play in 4k generally due to lower frame rates, and Battlefield has a higher player count on consoles. so I understand consoles aren’t strictly the best, but I feel that the Xbox One X really should be the premium experience for this game.

The game pushes you straight into a cinematic single-player tour of the settings, weapons and vehicles. Similar to the introduction to Battlefield 1, it doubles as a very simple tutorial. You start as a paratrooper dropping into a snow covered rail hard under radiant glow of the Aurora Borealis, and quickly proceed to fight the Germans head-on.

You are transported to a sniper nest in North Africa, where you ambush a German convoy with air support. And then, you find yourself as a German tank commander in the same desert setting, engaging in armored warfare.

Here we are, three minutes into the game. I look to the tanks around me, which are engulfed in blocky pixelated messes that I know are intended to be particle effects from the dust being kickced up by the tracks on these monstrous war machines.

The immersion was completely broken for me, and instant disappointment set in. On PC, these things happen. Developers make games with certain hardware in mind, but there are so many different graphics cards, processors, and audio devices in circulation today.

Updating drivers or changing graphics settings to attain desired performance is a part of PC gaming. With console gaming, developers know exactly what hardware you have. My Xbox One X is the exact same as yours.

Generally, console games have far fewer issues in this regard. That’s why I was shocked to see such a glaring graphical glitch on console, and in the mandatory opening sequence to boot. This game had been out for months, and that glitch still exists.

What a let down. Alas, I soldiered onward and attempted to experience the multiplayer gameplay. I was dropped into a snowy mountain infantry battle, eager to take part in the tense battle at hand. I was able to play for approximately five minutes before I experience a truly game breaking glitch.

I took a path around the mountain to flank a large group of the enemy, and I was met with a like minded player on the opposing team. He chucked a grenade at me, and I was blown to pieces. I then fell under the level and my screen bounced around frantically.

The game did not display the normal statistics on death and did not give me the option to respawn. Pressing the start button did not pull up the menu. I watched from underneath the level as other players continued the fight, while I remained helpless.

I gave it a solid three minutes before forcefully exiting the game, as it was my only option. Frustrated with my “Battlefield experience,” I gave it up for the night and was completely disappointed. The next day, I decided to give it another go.

This time, I played an entire match without a major glitch. I thought maybe I experienced something totally out of the ordinary and moved on. Then the map changed. I fought on a city map this time, and the exact same thing happened to me just minutes into the match.

I continued on for a few days, experiencing the awful 8 bit style particle effects on tanks and occasionally game breaking bugs in multiplayer. At its absolute best, the game is mediocre compared to the other Battlefield games.

Not stellar, not awful. It’s unfinished and unpolished, and this is months after the release. It’s unplayable in this state, and that’s unacceptable at any price. I explained the Battlefield experience to you, so you don’t need to buy this game.

There are far less expensive or time consuming ways to disappoint yourself, if that’s what you’re after. Go for one of those instead.

I’ve logged like 72 hours into this game, most of it online. Great online matches that make the war feel alive and chaotic, especially with a Dolby Atmos sound system. The community is pretty big and nice variety of maps with 64 players.

The campaign was enjoyable too with varied stories and characters of lesser known WW2 campaigns, wish they would’ve kept it in Battlefield 2042.

You can try it on GamePass or buy to own but I’d still probably stick with Ultimate edition as you get both DLCs and all the car-packs which is simply much better value. Great racing, great music, lot to do but whatever suits your fancy eg if you don’t want to paint or tune, simply don’t do it.

The freedom and options FH5 gives you is quite amazing. I have hundreds of hours in each Horizon game so I’m a bit biased but it’s simply a great game, even if you don’t particularly like racing as it’s more than that.

You can play minigames, Eliminator (version of battle royale), take pictures, listen to music and cruise. the choice is yours. 10/10 IGN is spot on PS don’t think there’s a better game with better long play value than this on the market right now.

This game is a good shooter for multiple reasons. One reason is that it is pretty universal in terms of guns for the support, recon, medic, and assault. While it is not quite realistic to the time period based on the guns you use, it is not a ww1 simulator, its battlefield.

It brought new game modes such as: Operations where you can play as defense which is defending the flags against the attackers who are trying to capture them. War Pigeons is where you get a pigeon, write a note (sort of like capturing a flag) and setting it free to gain a point out of three.

And Fog of War which is Hardcore Team death match and normal team death match. The vehicles are improved, tour bullets can do damage to the planes (not much) and the dogfights seem better and more balanced.

They added motorcycles with the seat on the side like in the movies. The artillary truck which has an AA gun on top of it and a Vickers Mk1 (the normal mounted machine gun in that game) and a new thing called Behemoths.

If the enemy team is loosing in operations they will receive a behemoth on most maps you will get an Airship which is a blimp outfitted with powerful explosive round machine guns, and the pilot can drop bombs on top of it there are mounted machine guns (vickers mk1).

On other maps where there is water you will receive a Dreadnought, this is a Cruiser with heavy hitting artillary and AA guns. The last behemoth is an Armourd train. This has the same guns as the Dreadnought but with added machine guns (for infantry).

This is a fun game in all, but it is for the person who likes fast paced battlefield games, such as bf4 and bf3. So if you liked those games and hardline I would suggest getting this one.

I admit I can be a little biased towards EA’s Battlefield series as I’ve played and loved every single game under their umbrella. BUT! This installment is DICE’s way of showing the fans that they listen to them and that they don’t follow blindly to trends.

Single player is majestic! It’s very reminiscent of Call of Duty 3’s story mode. Which is not a bad thing! The cutscenes are so realistic you could forget that you’re playing a video game and instead watching a real action movie.

The scenes are just that real! I can’t say the story is particularly deep as I didn’t feel too connected to the characters but I felt a sense of empathy. Multiplayer is where the meat of this game resides, though.

It’s is eerily reminiscent of EA’s StarWars: Battlefront (2015) mechanics and handling though just vaguely. If you enjoyed the large scale warfare maps of Battlefield 4, then this has equally massive maps plus trenches! The new operations mode is a great new revisioned “rush” mode with an added bohemoth for defensive forces to divert their attention to.

The usual formula for an online battlefield game is still here, alive and kicking! For good reason too; it just works! Their new model for battle packs however isn’t as rewarding as it was in the last installment ‘4’ and mostly contains skins for vehicle and weapon customization.

Aside from this small rewards system aspect, it’s still a great game taken back in time.

Bought BF1 recently (almost 2 years after release) and put in about 100 hours to get an idea of the game. I play on the Xbox One. Here is my take on it. Pros : looks ‘pretty’. in other words high def and a ton of details Game Cons : Rubber banding, game freezes causing a hard reboot of xbox (about 1in5 games), weapons are invisible for about first minute of joining game, some weapons never show leaving you with no sights or any way to aim, game delays causing ‘shooting around corners or through obstacles’, Play Cons : teams are very uneven and when ‘balancing teams’, they just take the worst players of the winning team and put them on the losing team, I know it’s old now but there’s only one game mode people play (operations) so say goodbye to earning the ‘awards’ by playing other game modes.

extremely long wait times (4-7 minutes) to load maps and if in between games you get 1 minute added to that to check scores, Overall experience is they tried to make this game for all fps competitor game players instead of battlefield loyalist.

It is no surprise considering EA Games loves to destroy franchise games and buyout smaller companies that make great games in order to make money. In short I spent 16 dollars for the game and that’s about all it’s worth (even if it were new).

This game has more issues at 2 years than bf4 had at the 6 month mark. Battlefield had a good run, but this installment shows the run is over, time to find a new team based fps.

Short and without spoilers. It’s not the same Wolfenstein. Yes, the girls in the lead role spoil the atmosphere of madness. The plot is very primitive, boring and stupid. The weakest part of the game is the co-op mode.

Artificial intelligence does stupid things all the time, Terrible networking. This is a real achievement if your friend joins the game. Huge amount of grind.

I love Wolfenstein, they tried something different for this game that I was not expecting at all. The shooting is still solid. Though they added a new mechanic, now the game is a mix of Wolfenstein and a game like the division.

Where you level up, bosses have high health n you need to be prepared to fight instead of you just being the weapon. It’s not for me. I’ll finish it. But I wanted Wolfenstein.

Absolutely love this game. Graphics are amazing And high quality. game is just awesome. Love love love. Highly recommend this game. Love the fact it comes with a buddy pass so you can play with a friend for free.

Fun game, but with caveats. First, look at the box closely because you are buying a cardboard box with a download voucher and some stickers inside of it. There is no physical disc. When you look at it on the shelf at Walmart, you can’t see the little banner across the bottom that says “download code inside.

” I knew this was the case, but your average consumer will see a box and think “disc-based game” while the download-only games are on the little cards. As for the game itself, there is a reason it is half-price: It’s not a complete game.

It’s a “Preview Edition” meaning it’s a work-in-progress that you can play now. There are only two maps and the game is glitch. It’s a fun game with an interesting take on your standard deathmatch and as long as you understand you are getting a code instead of a disc and that you are basically playing a beta version (pre-release) game and temper your expectations, you will have a good time.

OMG Goodbye COD, farewell WOT, who are you MOH ? This game is insane, keeping it real with everyone being brought back to basic primal survival instincts. Only the strongest will survive. I like the matching process so I get to play against equally technologically inept people such as myself and not get wiped out by a minor with the eyesight of a hawk and the reflexes of a striking.

Once all the teething problems are ironed out. only a few for non professional players like me, not enough to be disappointed over, the game will be awesome. New maps, new locations and a random spread of arms & vehicles will make it even more challenging and stop pro gamers identifying hot spots for best weapons and kit.

I have this game on Xbox One as well as PC – Considering they have just moved out of Beta and into 1. 0 the game is still ridiculously good and just getting better and better! Very addictive! Stressful and challenging at times! Parachute into the map with about 100 other players, solo or in teams! Find your nearest weapon and fight to the death.

AI Gameplay brilliance with Super graphic design visuals that cannot be imagined. To play BF2142 you will need an XP sp2 or sp3 32 bit PC system and play is offline only but with mods that allow access to 64 player maps and another combined mod that gives all unlocked weapons.

An edited file using notepad can be altered to allow for over 64 player bots with upgraded AI. Specific files have to be present in the User/Documents/BF2142 folder to log in because there are no online servers to log into.

Offline only. For it’s time, this game offered PC gamers one of the best offline gaming experiences that the Publishers\Coders EA Games\Dice ever produced; The other, being BF2 that was modded with the excellent mod AIX 2.

0 with all the additional big maps and weapons, vehicles, jets, copters plus IA bots for a true battlefield skirmish. Flag capturing on a massive scale in both these unforgettable gems was treasured by a large forum community.

Sadly, support from the makers dried up, not before they were sacrificed to the xbox and ps4 to be consolized with BF3/4 and then forgotten.

I love the Battlefield franchise, I use to hate it because it made no sense when I first played it on the PS2 back in the early 2000’s. Fast forward a few years later and I reluctantly downloaded a demo of Battlefield Bad Company on the PS3 and after months of urging from my friends I played it, I was instantly hooked! After playing a few more games from the franchise on the consoles, I decided to come back to PC gaming and in doing so I found that their were Battlefield games that I have not played.

So I ventured into Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142, BF2 is an amazing game and the mods are endless, BF2142 is a good game as well, but I felt they might have rushed it a bit. I felt this might have been intended for an expansion for BF2, but at the last minute they made it a stand alone title.

The navigation of the menus are buggy at best, theirs is not a lot of customization or options like BF2 and the home screen were you have to log in before you can play online or offline really kills this title because the servers don’t work anymore, thankfully I found a work around for this.

My other issue was the fact that you were given sub par maps and only 5 or 6, BF2 had a pretty decent size map selection right off bat. I tried to play online however the servers at Game Spy were discontinued indefinitely which left me disappointed that I couldn’t and will never get to try out the famous online Titan mode or ever level up to better weapons and equipment because these features are not available for offline/single player mode.

I think EA should have made these features and modes available online and offline as well, if they wanted to separate your achievements then so be it, but it would have given this game more life down the road, such as games like the Call of Duty series.

The pros are the single player game plays some what like online, the weapons and vehicles are unique, I heard their are mods for the single player game like custom maps, etc. , but I couldn’t get them to work, I’ll keep researching.

Another cool feature is local play and private servers, so if you have few friends who like to get together and have a LAN party, your golden. This game had a lot of potential, but it needs some polishing up, I only hope that EA does a remake of this game as an expansion using the Frost Bite 3 or 4 engine or adds the features from this game with improvements to Star Wars Battle Front 3.

bought the PC version of the game, digital, but this is completely not downloadable, even when it shows as ready to download in the digital library. Customer service completely useless. After spending 2 hours online, they say the game is not refundable because it’s a downloadable version.

I said to the guy: then make sure you have the technical competency, which they don’t have. Totally ridiculous. I am serious: I have made a resolution to NEVER BUY from bestbuy. They should seriously change their name to worstbuy.

and I am going to short their stock, because companies like this will NOT last, especially if you compare their customer service to say Amazon. Totally NOT ACCEPTABLE.

First, our grandson loved this. He got the extra “bling” for his character. The problem is that he wanted more. The makers of Fortnite understand the reward center of the brain and the need for children, especially those with ADHD, to get instantaneous rewards.

For V-bucks, which is essentially cash, you get accessories and dancing characters. Children want their characters to be like and to do what their friends’ characters do. Our grandson used his saved money for this.

To make a character “dance” you have to buy more V-Bucks. We think that it is predatory of the company to use obsession and instantaneous rewards to make their profit. At our house now, you must do an hour of reading and an hour working on Scouting to get one hour of Fortnite.

We hope to eventually wean him off of Fortnite. I wonder how many parents will agree.

Thank you Fortnite for creating character skins that my son ALWAYS wants and, therefore, we need to buy these things for every birthday and holiday. I am only being a little sarcastic. It does make shopping easy.

However, buying something for a game that does NOTHING to actually help his game feels a bit odd. But that is the life we live in these days. Besides my ranting, the process to make this card turn into V-Bucks in the game is relatively simple.

Got a few of these for my sons that love playing Fortnite. There is not much to say it’s a gift card. The problem is applying this card to there accounts. These cards must go through a third party website to be linked to their Fortnite accounts.

It was not difficult just took more steps than I would have liked. One of my sons didn’t have an account with the third party so I have to go through the steps to do that before loading the GC. You would have less hassle with just getting specific system gift cards like switch or psn.

It’s a digital code which you should get within an hour like other retailers. But guess what! Not at Best Buy! Avoid Best Buy for digital codes the wait isn’t worth it. It’s almost been 12 hours and still no code.

I should of known when I googled about it and people have horror stories about getting their codes. If I get my code by the 12 hour mark I’ll change my review otherwise stick with other retailers like target.
