20 Best Wrist Wraps For Boxing (2023 Updated)

Love these for heavy bag training, especially for working on form over power. The XL fit me snug and don’t slide around. The wrist wrap is about 15 inches longer than my Sanabul, which allows me to take another wrap around my wrist or in between my thumb and forefinger (for that wrap feel).

When doing warm-up exercises these do not end up sliding loose like a conventional wrap will after/during doing burpees or push-ups. I wash mine in the washer with cold water and the velcro closed, and then hang to dry.

These gloves tolerate it well. I don’t know how long these will last. My older pair is starting to look a little fuzzy around the edges, but they’ve been being slammed into a heavy bag. I don’t know if it’s a good design idea, but I almost wish the padding only covered the first two knuckles instead of all four.

But I’ve never tried a pair that only covered the first two knuckles, so in real world application, I may not like that as much as I imagine I would. The company does keep bothering buyers about writing a review for their product.

I paid them full price, so I don’t owe them anything, that makes the harassment about writing them a review a real pain in the ***. I’m hoping they’ll stop now. Otherwise, I may have to drive down there and punch the little twit heading up their marketing department.

I wish I could rate these higher, they look great and are easy to slip on, but I ran into two major issues after my first full workout. After spending any significant time with my gloves on over them, the stitching in between the fingers really digs into the skin.

I had an abrasion so deep between my middle and ring fingers just from the rubbing that I got a scab. On addition, despite the wrist wrapping, I tweaked my wrist during the workout. The bindings just don’t hold the wrist straight enough relative to the fist, and it gives too much bend on impact as a result.

The knuckle padding is great, and they’re definitely convenient, but I don’t think I can wear them again.

I’m super new to this sport. My kids do boxing without wraps. I decided I would join a punches and crunches class while I wait for my kids. I put my new glove wraps on and they felt great, slipped my gloves on them and started hitting the bag.

After awhile my left hand and a couple fingers were feeling numb. Took off that wrap and left the right side on , then it started feeling like I was losing feeling in that hand. I’m not sure if it’s a break in thing or a bad fit thing, but I’m a little sore at buying 2 pairs for them to not work out.

I let a girlfriend try my 2nd pair for the class and she experienced the same symptoms.

Really great hand wraps. Better than the one I already owned. It’s a bit thinner so they don’t hurt my hands. I will definitely be buying more of these. Shipping was very fast. Arrived two days after purchasing.

Ordered a pair to try as my first exposure to Sanabul products. I was looking for a better quality Mexican style hand wrap. Some other brand wraps are all cotton and don’t have any stretch or have a lot of poly fiber and don’t stay tight round to round.

These had a good mix of cotton and poly to stay breathable and have good consistent stretch. Stitching is nice and strong on the loop, ends, label and the velcro. I’ve had issues with other brands’ stitching coming loose with use.

I’ve tried using these as traditional boxing wraps as well as Muay Thai style. It worked well for both. Would recommend these and will be purchasing more in other colors as I go.

Great wraps! In a world of uncomfortable, harsh wraps these truly stand alone as high quality wraps with the perfect stretch to adequately fit the hand and wrist. The colors are amazing too. Will definitely buy more.

Okay these gel wraps are a dream for us heavy hitters, so much so that I had to buy a yellow set because of the protection they offer! Now this being said, I could throw hooks, crosses, jabs, uppercuts, shovel hook, overheads, backhands, etc.

All I felt was just the power from the punches! Now for the negative side, unfortunately my black pair only lasted maybe six months tops which to me is in the realm of okay but when there’s others that last for a year or two years, I’d like to have that longevity especially with the rise in cost of everything these days.

I’ll keep banging out this yellow pair I have until they wear other. Be on the look out for holes near the knuckles and gels pieces coming out of the seems.

I’m using this gloves for my calisthenics workouts and I must say they are very comfortable however I wouldn’t recommend using them for this type of workout because of the high grip. This has lead to the gripping rubber to come off in some areas, the sewing job is coming off in the right hand glove already and I’ve only been using it for less than a month.

Service was good and responsive, delivered on time. Again they are not bad gloves but they certainly could be better for what is worth.

These were a lifesaver when hitting the rowing machine. Normally my hands are left with blisters or callousness after a hard workout, making two or three days of activity difficult. With these my hands were protected and I felt I could really get out of my workout the most possible.

Not too bulky and breathable.

These hand wraps will do. Local gym just got a punching bag and speed bag, so I ordered these just for the new addition. I am used to the Everlast brand, but those are not as wide, and I prefer the wider velcro, as well; I’m hoping it will last longer.

The wraps were fine, design-wise. They came wrapped, too. I checked them over and no design issues with the fabric, stitching, velcro or thumb-straps. Even though they are very thin, the fabric seems strong enough, and the slight elasticity to it adds a nice punch.

4 Out of 5 Stars Issue They smelled terrible upon opening the second plastic bag around them, and had slight, white, moldy stripes on the black pair of wraps; the top pair. The smell punched me in the face when I got closer.

I had a slight skin reaction to this, just unwrapping them to prepare to be washed. (The skin reaction is not part of why I took a star away, because I have access to and could have used gloves, that was my bad.

) They did have a silicone pack to deodorize and absorb moisture, but that was discolored and smelled, as well. It was leaking out from a hole that seemed to be punched in it. Since I don’t know how long they were sitting in one area, possibly a humid warehouse, this is possible.

– However, the situation can be remedied by washing them by hand in warm water with baking soda, white vinegar and a little Dawn dish soap. Taking Care of Your Wraps a. k. a. the Wrap Rap 1. ALWAYS wash and dry your hand wraps by hand, otherwise they will fall apart faster, even in a special washing bag.

They are handwraps, and will eventually fall apart because of the stress to the fabric. * Depending on the color, will bleed into the fabrics of your other clothing. They get a real bad rap from this.

* I use a cup of vinegar, 3 drops of Dawn and 1/2 cup baking soda for 1-3 pairs of wraps, and about a full gallon of water to wash and two gallons to rinse. Adjust as needed. Also, tea tree oil, just a few drops, added to the mix is nice for scent and to help prevent bacteria growth and mold.

2. Dry them by hand with a towel to soak up extra moisture before hang drying them. – When you do this, towel dry by either sitting them in a towel for a few minutes to soak up moisture, or fold them neatly and press on the top and bottom of the fabric.

* If you wring them out, again, it will stress out the fabric and they fall apart faster. I don’t recommend doing this. I. e. not happy, no wrappy. 3. Got wrinkles to betsy in them? They can also be steamed and/or ironed to get wrinkles out.

– If you do iron them, place a cotton t-shirt or other fabric over them to protect the elastic in the wraps and use medium or low temp. – Iron over the full length of them, not including the thumb-loop; creases will do what? Make them fall apart faster.

They’re designed to be wrapped back up. 4. (Optional) Take lots of selfies of yourself in your wraps, with your wraps, just your wraps, fight club in your wraps, eating a wrap while your wraps are peeking out of your bag, taking care of your wraps, etc.

i just restarted my boxing classes and these wraps really help with my hand pain. Not only does it cover my knuckles well and provides plenty of padding, it really supported my wrists too! All of those off angle punches were assisted by sturdy wrists and these hand wraps really helped stabilize my wrists.

The pack comes with 3 different pairs, all 180″ in length for plenty of wrap. Nice addition is the thumb loop and the hook and loop closure makes finishing the wrap pretty easy. I like how the wraps have a semi elastic feel so it has a little give while still support and stabilizing your hands.

This is a solid choice, and I highly recommend it!.

I have used this brand in the past and so these wraps are nothing new. These wraps are durable, light and can fit any size hands. They are plenty long to offer good support. The light blue color is a fun way to add some fun! Good quality for a great price!.

Wore the “Tuff” belt at the WDFPF (Ireland) National Single Lifts on Saturday 12th. March in Crossmaglen. Northern Ireland. Competed in the 83+ (M9) Deadlift. Broke the World Record for my Category (M9) with an entry lift of 180kg, then the second lift of 200kg, followed a third of 205kg.

and then asked for a 4th. lift which is allowed if the third was a good lift and has a chance of beating the previous record. So I went for 210kg which was also a god lift. So the new World Record for the men’s World Record Category age 80+ (M9) Body Weight is 210kg.

I have really bad tendinitis in my right wrist and had been using a different brand. No help. I saw these on an Instagram add and they look cool, read some reviews, liked the price point, so I ordered a pair.

I LOVE THEM. Very good quality. Strong Velcro strap to keep the wraps tight, and I’m not having any issues with my wrist when I lift heavy. I’ll probably order another pair because I like to have backups in case I lose one.

Off the bat I expected significant improvement and that is exactly what I got. The material feels great. Looks great. And provides me with the support that I needed was I started having wrist pains. Subsequently these wraps have helped to cull the amount of pain that my forearms would endure for workouts that would put much more strain on those muscles without the wraps.

I am very glad I purchased these wraps and I would recommend it to any one looking to lift heavy.

very comfortable wraps that last a very long time as long as you wash it once in a way. definitely prevents chafing of your knuckles as it is pretty soft and offers a good amount of protection. depending on your level for boxing , you may want to get the longer wraps if youre in advance.

They are really comfortable and nice.Mine are pink and I really like the colour .When you wash them in the wash machine they are like new and they are elastic.You have to get on of these!😍

These fit great for smaller hands. I wear men’s small in gloves and some other wraps are either too long or too short.

These wrist wraps are great! They unravel without tangling, they wash without knotting up, and are so easy to re-roll into spirals for easy storage. The material is of a better quality than other wrist wraps I purchased in the past, making them more durable.

Only thing I wish they came in cool camo colors. LIke red black camo, blue black camo, etc. :).

These wraps are pretty good and give a decent amount of protection.

I wish there was a 7 star option for a review! Amazing wrist support, comfort, tight to the arm so it doesn’t (and isn’t compared to other gloves even at 14oz) feel bulky even at 16oz. I was going to only use them for just sparring but I hit the bags more than I spar and these are just too great to not use.

In the beginning they were really tight on the forearm to where it actually hurt so I had to loosen them a bit until they were broken in. Because of the amazing support on the wrist I feel like I can punch more accurately, more technique, harder, and safer.

There is an adjustment period where you have to get used to the double straps and putting the gloves on or taking them off. There are natural spots on the leather and that is from the cow itself so there is that aesthetic to the gloves as well.

I have not used the wrist support on these yet because the gloves themselves are just so snug and tight. I got them during the black Friday sale so it was definitely worth the money. The black Friday sale came not just with the gloves but a Hayabusa key chain, metal jump rope with a gel plastic around the rope or the ball on a string that you attach to your head, a wash bag for wraps, wraps or gloves, and the glove deodorizer.

I got more stuff and cheaper than if I were to get the gloves alone. And I got them in less than a week if I remember correctly. I think I am going to make this an annual tradition. New boxing gloves from Hayabusa around black Friday.

I bought the 14oz. gloves. These gloves are very well made and very stylish but they are very hard to get on, even harder with wraps on. They’re are uncomfortable. I thought I might of bought youth gloves by mistake, but I didn’t see anything in the description to indicate this.

I was told by the coach at the gym they are really good gloves, well worth the money and that once they are worn in they will be fine. I bought a pair of cheaper gloves (also 14oz) five years ago that are 60% leather.

These gloves felt really good the first time I tried them on. They fit well, like they were made for my hands and I got a lot out of them over the years. I was expecting a similar experience with the Hayabusa S4’s but just a bit disappointed.

I paid double for the Hayabusa than I paid for my old gloves. I hope the coach is right, and that I grow to love my new gloves as much as I love my old ones. Maybe it’s just a case of ‘love at first feel’ vs ‘a slow burn’.

(I gave 3 stars because I couldn’t give 2. 5).

First off, I love these gloves and are worth every penny. The first time I put them on, they were a little tight and was overwhelmed with the dual wrist strap. After getting through that hurdle, I hit the bag and it was wonderful.

I have long arms and my wrists have a tendency to bend as I punch, these gloves kept my wrists straight. Having proper wrist support my punches were stronger and more accurate. The Vylar synthetic vegan leather is in some ways more functional than leather and felt durable.

After that first use I knew I found the glove I never knew I needed in my life. I am no longer afraid to punch powerfully on the bag and on pads. I know my hands and wrist are well protected. To have that peace of mind is something I would pay the expensive price tag for.

I love the ease of using the gel wraps but honestly the stitches become frayed from extended usage. The other thing I wish is if the wrap portion was a thicker material. More like the thickness of the Rev Gear 180 wraps so that when doing JKD without gloves or inserting into boxing gloves the material doesn’t stretch and roll out of place around the thumb and wrists.

I have other Rev Gear stuff such as shin guards, mits, gloves, 180 wraps, fight shorts, etc. all purchase through my gym and would rate them as excellent products. I just wish these gel wraps were made just a little more durable.

This product does offer plenty of support and protection. Problem occurs when you put your gloves on. I wear 16oz gloves and if you don’t wrap tight enough your gloves are hard to get on. If you wrap too tight your hands/gloves are uncomfortable.

Just be aware. Would I buy them again, probably.

You have better things to do besides constantly fixing your hand wraps! In class we take turns holding pads and hitting them, traditional wraps constantly come unraveled. Now my students can focus on training and not fixing their equipment!.

The wraps are mostly just cute. They’re very stiff and not soft for wrapping your hands. I washed them thinking they would soften up and didn’t.

Super great hand wraps its the only brand I buy now Ive tried other ones over the years these fit and feel great and dont slide around once you put them on

These are some of the best if not the best hand wraps I have purchased. I am able to wrap my hands nice and tight with these and they do not cut my circulation off, my hands feel very secure and protected with these wraps.

I loved them so much I purchased two more pair.

Really recommend a purchase, nothing to complain about the product. Overall gave me a great feeling and boosted my motivation. Hands being wrapped make you feel like an athlete, and that feeling helps you to push yourself past your limits.

I bought these wraps at the start of June and have been using them at least twice a week. It’s now July and the stickiness of the wraps have already deteriorated and hardly stick and come of frequently for one of the wraps.

I also brought a pair of the older made versions some years back and they were much better and still have a stickiness it’s just that the threads have come of so I needed a new pair.

I have tried a few wrist wraps over the years and these are by far my favorite. They are very comfortable even when tight and help improve my hand positioning on bench press. The only slight downside is that they are super long, however this does make them super versatile and allows my to use them as knee wraps too!.

I’ve been looking for decent wraps for a while and these are the answer. They’re not the longest but they do wrap well and provide excellent support. They look great as well. I’m guessing if you have got bigger hands they might not have enough wrap for your hands.

But I’m happy here.

Read the description carefully, I bought these and I can barley get any padding on. If you are buying this for your kid or you have unusually small hands these are great; nothing innovative about this product compared to other cheaper hand wraps.

not gonna lie, jit be trippin hard. took long enough for my lil bro to grow a beard as long as Gandalf before they even pull up.

Everlast 120 inch hand wraps are not to shabby. The length is fantastic for wrapping around the hand and wrist for lots of support. They have a smell, but it is not too chemicalized. The velcro is heavier duty so it stays in place well.

I took of a star because the fabric is pretty thin, I don’t think it will wear well over time and it could have the slightest bit of stretch in it to allow more blood flow. Otherwise, these hand wraps are really great.

Another terrible quality product from Neverlast for a terrible price. Whilst the wraps are make of a comfortable material, the velcro isn’t durable and starts to fray and fall apart within a month. On top of this the velcro hook part is too long and will likely stick into the wraps, causing the material to also fray and fall apart.

Don’t buy this brand, it’s priced too high for such terrible quality.

Well, there is something magical about this product; in the beginning, I must confess, I was biased because of the price tag. However, the more I used it, the more I like it. In addition to the cool look, these wraps are giving you confidence.

I use them with my gloves and I wish Manimal also do gloves that can be used with these awesome wraps. Thanks again for this great product.

Manimal Wrist wraps are the only wraps I buy. That alone should help you understand the quality of this company. I now have three pair of their wraps. I have wrist problems and these have been a big help when working out.

Try them out, I promise you will not be disappointed. I’ve washed my first pair a lot, they still look great, and continue to do an excellent job supporting my wrists.

Let me just say these were most functional and enjoyable pieces of equipment I’ve had the pleasure of purchasing and then owning, apparently so much so that after a few months someone decided to commandeer them when left upon a vacant bench.

I was confused and a bit downtrodden due to the fact that my scent was clearly imbedded in the high quality fabric and materials, which should have been a clear indicator of my ownership. I’ve often been told you get what you pay for.

I was not expecting to get more than what I payed for which is what occurred. I’ve tried other wraps and to my dismay it’s never been the same. Overall; superior product, professional and prompt delivery of wraps, bogo shirt and decals for added branding.

Basically these wraps help get $h*t done, support those limp noodles you call wrists giving you the feeling of an hundred year old oak tree. They provide the comfort, flexibility and structural integrity not found in many other products on the market.

I originally bought this bc I wanted to support onward as a business but now that I bought a hand wrap I have to buy more! It’s great quality and they even have a tutorial on the YouTube on how to properly wrap – nadia liebig.

Great comfortable fit, prefect length, good quality Velcro, just the right amount of strech to get a great tight fit.

Fast delivery, cool designs, one of 3 handwraps were not what I expected, dissatisfied about the material. Bought the Venom ones on Amazon, they don’t stretch, polyester doesn’t feel good, bought Deadpool and Wolverine ones on this site, there’s no comparison, material is better and stretches perfectly for handwraps, I don’t know if I should buy the Punisher ones here or in Amazon, I don’t want them to be non stretching polyester.

If you stretch them they sound different.

They smell like mildew and it does not wash out! If you want to return them they charge you so you loose money on their lousy product simply for making the mistake of purchasing through this company.

Their are much better retailers that stand by the product indefinitely, Twins, Fairtex and Meister to name a few. Also check out my review on the poorly assembled kids gloves I got ripped off for.

They look cool and fit in my Hayabusa gloves however there isn’t enough velcro for them to stay completely wrapped at the end. I’m a 5’7″, 160 lb. woman and I bought three: purple, black and orange. All have the same problem.

They need at least 1-2″ of additional velcro length to work properly on me. No matter how I wrap, it always happens. It’s annoying and sometimes painful to slide my hands inside my gloves when the ends are sticking up/out, an inch or more.

Lots of finagling to make them work. They fit my boyfriend fine, he’s 6’1″, 185 lbs.
