20 Best Wrist Brace For Typing (2023 Updated)

This is the second set of wrist stabilizers that I have bought. I started with these and they were comfortable and worked well. When I had to get another, my daughter talked me into a pretty blue, soft, padded style that she liked.

Mistake. The soft one was too long, too hot because of the velour cover, and hard to adjust and get on and off. I quit wearing the new style and went right back to the Mueller. It is not beautiful but it is comfortable, cool, easy to adjust and makes my wrists feel great.

This Mueller Carpel Tunnel Wrist Stablizer is not made as well as the same item I purchased a year ago. The Velcro pad that secures the band is only about half the size of the older model. So the newer model does not have the same amount of security as the older model.

I have been wearing these wrist stabilizes on both wrists when I go to bed each night. I t eliminates the pain and I have a more restful sleep.

I have had mine for 22 years. When my wrist acts up I reach for my reliable brace. I received mine 22 years ago after a car accident that left my left wrist barely able to move. My brace is just awesome provides the adequate amount of support.

I have carpal tunnel and needed a new brace so I picked this one up today I’m gonna return it. Its so uncomfortable it’s more unbearable than the pain was. I tried to het used to it but it lasted about 15 minutes.

It rubs the wrists bones with the hard plastic pieces. They’re removable but even without them the seams still rub. I don’t like it.

I bought one of these from Futuro several years ago and it is still in perfect condition. I wear it every night when I go to bed. I decided to buy a new one as am afraid that these will go up in price soon and I wanted to make sure that I had a replacement for this type of Wrist brace.

It is comfortable and does not cut or bind. It gets very hot here in the South and I didn’t want to have to wash the brace. In fact I didn’t know that there is a little slit on the inside of the brace where you can take the metal bar out and then be able to wash the brace in warm water and dry it the put the metal bar back in the brace.

I had cut the tops off a long crew sock, and cut a hole for my thumb to go through then I put on the wrist brace. The company should put that information on the web sites where you buy them. That information was listed on the box.

The Futuro Wrist Brace is very similar to my previous (old & worn out) Mueller brand brace and was available at a better price. The brace is somewhat individually customizable for comfort and protection.

Sizing is important for best fit and corrective modality. The Futuro Wrist Brace is of Excellent Quality, as are the similar Mueller and ACE brands. I recommend any of the three brands, get the right size, and whichever is best deal!.

I broke my scaphoid about 5 years ago without knowing it. Always had pain in my wrist but could get by. Last year, the pain started to become more accute to the point where I couldn’t ride my dirt bike more than 15-20 minutes at a time with a week long break in between each session.

The doc said I needed surgery, and it would only half fix the problem anyway. In a last ditch effort to avoid it, I bought the mobius and started doing lots of exercices for my wrist. I can now ride many 20 minutes heat in a day, two days in a row if I want.

There is still some pain, but nothing compared to what it was. I will probably need still need surgery at some point, but the mobius help me postponed it by a few years for sure. I would recommand this product to anyone who has any kind of wrist problem.

It is a bit expensive but can go a long way!.

I have a weak wrist whilst playing badminton and need support whilst allowing me wrist movement and support at the same time. This is a perfect support for my kind of injury and great price too.

I purchased two of these braces because I developed carpel tunnel during my pregnancy. It was two the point I wasn’t able to sleep because my wrists hurt so bad throughout the night as I slept. My doctor told me to get some night braces and these braces helped so much! I was able to sleep without any pain when wearing the braces.

I couldn’t recommend these more.

The wrist splint was exactly as described. It is a great product. It does fit either hand. It fits really well and is wonderful support for aching wrists. Small enough to wear all the time if need be.

Black color looks nice and stays clean. My husband has had remarkable help from tingling hands. We had one Comfy Brace and bought a second for left hand. It did that well. Not even tempted to purchase another brand.

Was omptimistic when buying this product after a wrist injury of 2 years nothing i tryed had worked. Quite shocked how a fleece material can solve the problem. Definatly targets the pain. I keep mine on during the day whilst at work due to heavy lifting.

Can also where it to bed but loosen the straps but i take mine off. Also can get it wet. I. e. swimming. It stops all them aches and pains by day to day activities. Great product. Highly recommended.

I have tried so many wrist braces, but I run hot and they are all SO HOT and uncomfortable I just wanna rip them off. This brace is absolutely perfect for me! No velcro, I love the snaps, highly adjustable, so comfy, gives more support than other traditional wrist braces I’ve tried and the low profile with so many openings is awesome.

I’m able to wear it all day and I can function normally with it on with minimal discomfort. However I wouldn’t purchase it for sleeping as it will not stay on. The rubber on the palm is tatting to separate after only a month though so that is my reason for 4 stars.

In every other way I would rate it 5 stars and the way the rubber is separating is minimal and does not affect function as the inner liner is behind it but it does make me doubt the durability of the product.

Overall I’m very happy and I highly recommend. I will definitely be purchasing another when needed.

Using for de quervain’s. It’s very comfortable for a brace with the padding on the inside, tho it’s starting to compress & I can see the padding not holding up with prolonged use. But unlike other braces, I haven’t had to adjust the splint angle of the thumb at all & it doesn’t dig into the side of my wrist where the inflammation is.

Only complaint is that I would prefer the back side to cover more of the back of my hand & for the thumb piece to extend more as well. It’s keeping me from moving the base of my thumb but not the tip, so it’s not completely immobilized like it should be.

Overall I’m happy w/ it. Also received it really quickly from ShopOrtho and will order from them again if I need to.

Very happy with it. Had ordered them before and yeah they did send two wrong for left wrist that I ordered four for my right wrist. But didn’t complain, I may have to use it for my left some day. Anyway, am planning to order more for my right in the future.

I purchased the Copper Compression wrist wrap for the sport of Indoor Axe Throwing. Inspired by Ryan Smit (World Axe Throwing League Champion 2020) Ryan did extensive studies on wrist supports and this is the one he came up with! It took me a few minutes to get use to, but i will never throw without my Wrist Wrap! I throw 1-6 hours a day, and now have no issues with wrist pain! Mark T Masicampo.

I felt some relief.

I bought this for my daughter since she was complaining of a sore wrist while sewing. It gave her the added support she needs as she hand stitches a gown. It is definitely worth the cost. I love that it is adjustable so she an tighten it as she needs to.

I had the sport warp with the thumb loop. I got it because it was easy to put on. Overtime it got to where the velcro didn’t hold and didn’t give me support. I thought I would give this one a try. It gives me good support and it hold well.

It also allows more hand movement. I wear it at work since I am always doing things with my hands. The velcro seems to hold it very well.

My wrist had been hurting me for over 3 months. Apparently, doing some gardening work in the Spring had irritated an old problem with tedonitis from when I was working. It hurt so bad at times that my husband said all I was doing was wincing.

My granddaughter said to try Futuro Sport Wrist which had been recommended by her coach when she had a sports injury. Now I am finally getting some relief, and hopefully giving my wrist time to heal.

I am very much satisfied!.

These are great for daytime wear, very comfortable. To me they have medium compression (average size hand) and help with twinges that I can get with weather changes in my CMC joint. I can’t wear them at night as the tip of my thumb goes numb.

Also because they are silicone they do make for sweaty hands. But I find that wearing them for a couple hours works well. As others mentioned, you have to figure out your personal trick for getting them on and off.

I was surprised by how well they worked. I find I have more freedom and flexibility with these little wonders. I would definitely recommend it.

Second one I’ve purchased. First one lasted a couple years. Aside from the horrible velcro at the end the straps my first one functioned as it should. Just received my second one and after one day of use the stitching is already coming apart at the thumb.

On further inspection it was clear the seams will and already have begun to pull apart. Obviously there’s no quality control taking place at Futuro. Very disappointed. This is good design but poor stitching will be its’ demise.

Along with the lack of proper velcro to attach the strap tabs, the stitching is the last straw for me. I won’t be buying another as I don’t feel confident the new one will last as long as my first.

This product works for the purpose, but I don’t see it lasting more than a couple of weeks. I bought this brace to replace my more “sturdy” brace from my doctor after a wrist fracture. I wanted something that my wrist wouldn’t bend with but my fingers could move.

Overall it does that job. But as other reviewers mention, the seams by the thumb started coming loose within the first day. The Velcro is decent but after putting/removing gloves at work, it doesn’t hold very well and unvelcros every time I take my glove off.

Overall, did this product serve its purpose? Yes. Is it something that I would recommend? Not so much. 2 weeks use and it could probably go into the garbage now.

After many, many years of sports, stunts, and all around beating myself up, I developed Scapholunate Advanced Collapse in both wrists. Pain med prescriptions and no guarantee surgery were my only options, which I declined.

So I tried countless numbers of supports and braces, and thankfully, finally found the Future Compression Stabilizing Wrist Brace. It has allowed me to workout, ride my bicycle, do physical work, etc.

now, with very limited pain. Love this product, but I have been having difficulty finding it in retail stores (I try to keep at least three pair available at all times – home, in my car, and in my company truck).

Please tell me you have NOT discontiunued it.

This may be a good product for those who aren’t suffering from carpal tunnel. I purchased this to be used at night to aid my carpal tunnel symptoms. Even when worn during the day, it does not provide the support I need to restrict painful movement.

It isn’t expensive, but definitely more expensive than it is worth in my opinion. A better option I found at a cheaper price is the Mueller Sports Medicine Green Fitted Wrist Brace. This was actually my first choice but was not in stock on Walmart.

I should’ve listened to my gut and went with this option. Definitely worth a shot if you’re using for preventative measure, but definitely keep your original packaging and receipt.

I have carpal tunnel like most people who have lived more than a few years. It got to the point where is was starting to keep me awake at night. After finding these wrist wraps it is much more comfortable to sleep.

No more waking up with numbness. I would highly recommend these especially if you are a woman or man with small hands. The strapped wraps were too big and came open during the night.

After carpal tunnel surgery, I found myself with a weakened right wrist. I am very active and play tennis. I have spent way too much money on other braces and this one is the best! It is small enough to fit me and gives my wrist great support while allowing me to use my hand.

I would highly recommend this one.

This was an impulse purchase while browsing BB deals of the day. I had been experiencing some discomfort on my right wrist and therefore clicked on the description. I was a bit skeptical about the claims but decided to try it anyway and glad I did.

It didn’t take long to notice the discomfort started to subside. Would it have subsided just as quickly without it? Maybe. The biggest difference I noticed is wearing it while playing golf. Without it, my wrist will have some discomfort for a few days.

I docked a star because the tread is starting to ravel in few areas therefore I am unsure how long it will last.

It works amazing for my fiancées hand. He had broken his wrist a few months ago and works at a Walmart where he stocks PPC (paper, plastic, chemical) and those are some heavy stuff so it definitely comes in handy when his hand is getting messed up.

some days my wrists need a little boost, this does the trick. Quality material, easily adjustable. The fabric is soft and breathable, easy on and off when it’s time to wash hands. Highly recommend!

I wear these at night on both wrists so my fingers don’t fall asleep. I first tried the Futuro Night Support braces. They were okay. When those wore out, I found the Mueller ones. I like them better.

Pros–They have metal supports front AND back. The cushioned palm area stays put. The Futuro one displaces easily so you don’t get the full benefit of it. Mueller are less expensive. The two drawbacks– The thumb area isn’t as comfortable as I would like, but I think that is just the nature of the brace.

It needs to be rigid and that includes the thumb area. But the biggest concern for other people who might buy this product: They only come in one size. The Velcro closures barely fit my wrist. I have “normal” sized hands for a woman.

These would not work well for someone who has large wrists/hands. For someone with small hands– Because it is rigid, I don’t think the brace could be tightened enough for the palm area– there would too much room inside the brace palm area and the person would not get the full support benefits (Wrist area would be fine.

).

This is a sturdy brace. I have one that has only one metal support. I thought more metal would be better and bought this. However, the top piece of metal is not adequately padded. It gave me some pain as it rested on my wrist bone.

I will stick to the other brace. I do like the design though, it looks like it will last a very long time.
