I am very unhappy and would never recommend this product or company to anyone. As a matter of fact be cautious of their only 5 star review on their website and I strongly strongly suggest you think twice before purchasing this product from anyone or purchasing anything from this company at all.
It is way too expensive to not have a 100% satisfaction guarantee from the company itself and to have them back up their product and returns no matter where it is legally and purchased. If a company can not do that it says EVERYTHING about them and their products.
My story and why I feel this way; I was visiting Charleston, South Carolina and someone selling this product on Marketplace pulled me into the store with good smelling soaps. They had several people sitting around trying this product so I decided to let him show me.
As he sat me down to apply the product he also promised me a facial after he tried it on me. He applied the product and it seemed to work okay, my face was a little red, but I thought nothing of it because he was rubbing it in and he said I may feel a sting of the tigtening.
So as promised after he applied it he proceeded with a light “facial”. The facial ended up actually being a red light product they of course tried to sell me for over $4000. I didn’t do that but feeling this product looked like it worked after the first use I left the store with the 24kt Wrinkle Serum and two 24kt masks that I paid close to $500 for as well as a monthly refill subscription.
About 20 minutes later after leaving the store that applied it I noticed my face felt like it was on fire. I thought maybe it was the light they used and I was sensitive to it. So I walked back to the hotel and looked in the mirror and my face was red.
I washed my face and applied a cool cloth for a minute as well as a soothing moisturizer. It settled down. Figuring it was the red light that I reacted to I did use the product again two days later just as they instructed.
Once again it turned my face red, it was a little more quickly this time and it burned a little but I remembered him saying that was normal. I thought that maybe it was just part of the process. So I decided to suffer through it because maybe it was the antiwrinkle effect taking place.
I decided to try it at least one more time to be sure it was doing what it was supposed to and give it a chance. So two days later (as instructed) I once again applied it to the wrinkles the way he showed and advised.
That last time it started to turn my face very red rather quickly and it burned really badly, that final time I even had a couple of small blisters form on my cheek. I took a couple of photos and I called and emailed my doctor and sent the photos to their office for them to see and they informed me it was an allergic reaction and it was because the product was building up and that is why it was progressively getting worse after each application.
So my doctor perscribed me an antiallergy medication to apply and heal me and I immediately stopped using the product. I contacted this company Noella immediately to discuss returning since I was no longer in SC and to cancel the subscription.
The customer service rep canceled the subscription but told me that I needed to go to the store to return the product. When I purchaed the product I had asked the sales rep what to do if I had a problem.
They said there was a store in Los Angeles, CA close to where I live that I could go to if needed. So I tried to go to that store in LA that he told me was available to go to and every time I tried that store was “temporarily” closed.
Frustrated, and getting close to 30 days I reached out to this company Noella directly again because I figured that would be easier than dealing with a retailer on the other side of the country and they again said I have to contact the place of purchase and they said they can’t and will not do anything about it for me.
They advised me that I have to go back to the place I purchased it and they will have to help me and it is up to that retailer and their return policy if they will do anything for me or not. No concern or anything from Noella.
The customer care rep from Noella proceeded to tell me they will not do anything to help me unless I purchased it directly from them online. Basically all other purchases don’t count for them and those customers do not matter to them.
So I did as the Noella customer service said and I found the number on the top of my receipt for the merchant in Charleston that I purchased it from on and I called. A gentleman answered by saying “hello” and I asked him if he was the owner of the company thay sold me the Noella he responded with a “yes”.
I advised him of my situation and how it had been less than 30 days but that was coming close. He responded saying he could give me another sample of their other products from the company. I couldn’t figure out why they would offer that when I had an allergic reaction to the products.
I told him I could not risk trying another product I would like to return it but I am not in Charleston and told him that the store they told me was available to do that was not open. He then lied to me and now said he had to talk to his manager for approval because he couldn’t do anything (after he already told me was the owner at the beginning of the call).
He then asked me to text that same number that I called him on with my photos I had taken for my doctor as well as a copy of my receipt. So when we hung up I did just as he asked immediately after our call.
I waited for a response and several hours later I had no response not even a verification he received the text so I then tried to call him back on the same number and it is as if they blocked me because it kept going directly to a VM in which I couldn’t leave a message.
So now I have $500 of product that I can not use and I can’t get a refund or do anything with and nobody from this company Noella who is willing to help me and a shady retailer that Noella allows to represent their product obviously with no proper return policies or procedures in place for their retailers to help their customers.
The reason I am writing this review on this page is because of the lack of care for people that purchased their product. How can a company have a customer that has had a bad adverse reaction to thier product the way I did and not want to try to help make it right? This company has brushed me off, their retailer that sales their products has brushed me off.
That is awful customer care. The fact that they care so little about their customers and nobody wants to make it right says EVERYTHING to me. This is A LOT of money to spend on a product for something that you may possibly have a problem or reaction to and possibly not be able to return it.
It is A LOT OF MONEY to have nobody care at all. The product may work great for some people but what if you are that person that reacts to it or it doesnt worm and there is a problem? Would you really want to waste your money on a company that doesn’t have a 100% guarantee on a product no matter where you purchase it (especially when you have someone with a bad reaction to it who has a valid receipt and credit card purchae and photos of the reaction).
So for that reason alone I would HIGHLY recommend not purchasing anything from this company. It is way too expensive to have the what ifs and no 100% satisfaction guarantee from a company for its prodcuct, yes no matter where it is purchased.
Someone should at least try to right the wrong and care about the human on the other side of their expensive products!! Proceed with extreme caution.
