This AMAZING!!!!! Put in the freezer froze up really nicely and by time I got it out wrapped it around my foot and ankle, I was in HEAVEN, felt HEAVENLY and my FOOT WAS SING JOYFUL TUNES!!!! It took the swelling down on the whole area of my foot while I looked at football and relaxed from the comfortableness of the wrap.

I like the concept of this brace, but there are two problems. First, the three cold/hot packs are inserted or removed through individual small holes into their respective pockets. Although the gel packs don’t freeze solid, it is difficult to insert them into those pockets.

The time it takes to insert (stuff and align) them is less time that they are cold for their intended purpose. The openings to the pockets should be larger. The second problem is that we should be able to purchase a second set of the gel packs to be able to keep two sets in the freezer for a longer cold therapy treatment or to do two ankles back-to-back in the same session (sharing the one brace).

The FAQ acknowledges it takes at least 2 hours in the freezer to chill the packs. The second set should be an option to add at the time of purchase. Also the (current) FAQ list says to ‘handle the hot packs with tongs’ in answer to freezing the packs.

The ankle cold wrap was everything I was expecting, nice, snug fit which kept cold for quite a while. I have severe tendonitis in my right ankle from multiple injuries over many years and now that I am older (recently retired) the tendonitis and accompanying pain flairs up from time to time.

I bought the brace two months ago. I am a sports official. It gets used a couple of times a week. The support of the brace is good. It is important to not over-tighten the strings. That can cause some cramping in the arch of your foot.

Snug is good since you are also using the lateral straps. I have used it all day on a baseball diamond with no comfort issues, and it protected my ankle like it is designed to do. Two months in, the velcro is coming apart.

It hasn’t been abused, so my guess is the velcro is just the weak point of the product. Just keep this in mind.

I bought this after badly spraining my ankle playing soccer in hopes of being able to play without more issues. This brace, when done up correctly and tightly, gives the support I need. It is not the most comfortable thing in the world but honestly you won’t notice if your being active.

I now have one for each ankle to make sure I have no future problems. Fits in my soccer cleat no problem and is very affordable compared to the really intense braces you can find.

The velcro must be industrial strength. I cannot undo the brace without using both hands and sometimes a tool to grip it. The seem connecting the sides to the sole is under the edge of my foot. Unfortunately i tried trimming the velcro tabs to make removal easier which did not help but now it is not returnable.

I have been wearing a velcro brac3 fom another company fir a year and can open and close velcro.

I am so pleased with my ankle braces. I work as a swim instructor and lifeguard and have weak ankles. They tend to roll in the water and get tired easily walking on the pool deck. They seem o be good quality, but I fell one day while carrying them and one popped. I called and emailed customer service and replacements are not available for purchase. They advised me to go to my local drugstore and find one to fit, but could not offer much assistance beyond that.

Again, the issue was my fault, but I wish they had options for replacement packs.

Call me stupid but I couldn’t figure out how this thing worked. No instructions came with it either. Did finally find instructions on YouTube and a strap was missing for the back. It did not cover the top of my foot nor my heel or the back of my leg.

The part of the wrap you fasten with the longest strap above your ankle bunched up with so much extra material it wasn’t a snug fit. This wrap has so many open spots and I needed one that actually enclosed my whole foot, heel and all, along with my ankle.

I am recovering from ankle surgery and this is a great way of icing your foot. It is adjustable with Velcro tabs so it fits any foot size. Just put it in your freezer for about an hour and a half and you can then use it.

It stays cold for around 20 minuets which is just the right amount of time to apply ice to an injury site. I am really happy with this and I think it is great value and does its job perfectly.

This product is horrible. It’s too stiff to conform to the shape of your ankle. It doesn’t allow the cold to get where you need it. Do yourself a favor

I have tried different things to ease the pain in my foot after bones separated and foot went flat. Doctor prescribed a medical brace called an “Arizona Brace” that is ridged and adds 1/2 inch to my left leg, which causes an imbalance and leads to hip pain.

Tried these wrap straps and they work really well. They are not as restrictive as the medical brace, but a lot more comfortable and much easier to put on. Well worth the price.

Very please with the ankle support. It’s fits well around the ankle as the wraparound allow you to have it as tight as feel comfortable for you with support for your ankle. Would recommend it to anyone needing ankle support.

Ankle wrap part is fine, but the foot/arch wrap part is like wearing a loose sock. Futuro found out I really liked the style they used to make, with good firm support around both arch and ankle, and they stopped selling it.

I purchased this product after a bad fall injured my left ankle. It took 2 weeks before I was comfortably mobile, but the ACE ankle support helped me around the house as well as on the rare trip outside.

For my purposes, it was a reasonable trade-off between support and bulk. I would classify its support as mild-moderate; make sure you criss-cross the straps before velcroing them down, as that’s where majority of the support is created.

The brace hugs my ankle without sacrificing too much flexibility for daily mobility. Obviously, it’s no substitute for a cast. It will be uncomfortable to wear a shoe over it, but it’s doable. Product is easy to handwash and it folds up for easy storage.

Several years ago we were on vacation in Switzerland and I tripped on a man hole and feel twisting my ankle very badly. This happened on a Friday night or Saturday. I wanted to make sure the insurance would cover me since I was far away.

I bought this after spraining my ankle (again). Compared to other lace up braces I have had, this one is really good quality and super comfortable, though it doesn’t have hard plastic inserts in the side, so it doesn’t fell as stable but, I haven’t had any unwanted twists with it on.

And it is considerably more stable than just a neoprene or Velcro brace. I wasn’t able to wear it early on in my recovery process because you can’t get it on and off if you can’t bend your ankle (like with a bad sprain) Even if you unlace it all the way the “tongue” is permanently connected to both sides so you have to slide your foot in, which I was unable to do until my ankle had healed a bit more.

Overall its a great quality brace and I like it a lot now that my ankle is on the mend, but it didn’t work for a fresh sprain.

I bought braces for both ankles — I have serious weakness in both ankles and somewhat deformed feet as a result of polio as a child. I’m 78 ysr old, and have tried numerous braces. The Vive braces fit properly, are soft and very supportive.

I wear the braces all day every day. The only negative is their bulk. You do need enough room in your shoes to deal with the brace and be able to lace your shoe. For a normal foot and ankle this might be no problem — it is only a minor problem for me.

I recommend these braces –at least give them a try if you have problems with other ankle supports.

I have a broken foot toes and ankles that are beginning to morph. They will ever heal and theres no surgery that can be done. I am always grasping at straws. By alternating braces daily the pain has become 100% less, the limp is almost gone and the morphing is beginning to show signs of change.

I remember my parents having something like this when I was pre-teen. They were washable, thus reusable. I am putting together a First Aid Kit (because I don’t care for the contents of the ones already assembled on market) and bought these for that.

Most First Aid Kits are stuffed with band-aids and I’ve recently learned (via personal experience) the adhesive on them is no good (won’t stick) after being in storage just 3 to 4 months.

I love it for the most part, i just wish it came with different sizes. I have skinny long feet so the straps give me a hard time for them to be places in the right spot so it could actually stick. its a little hassle for me but other than that, it works wonders.

You still have the pressure you need without if completed demobilizing you. I would definitely recommend regardless of the struggle i have the first few minutes putting it on. (Ps- definitely would be easier if you dont have small feet ).

I have a bad sprained ankle. I should have paid more for a solid ankle brace for what I have. But to be fair this product is a keeper when my ankle breaks more. It’s comfortable and does a good job to keep the able somewhat sturdy (for sore or lightly sprained ankles).

I will wear this when I can go back to work to keep my ankle more stiff so it can heal some more while I work.

I found the first pair I bought probably at WalMart or CVS some time between 1980 and 1987. I was using them as a support for my plantar facia which had become fairly painful, and they served that purpose very well.

I received the two pack of ankle supports the same say that I twisted my ankle. It was starting to swell up and I put the support sleeve on and instant relief. My injury wasn’t severe enough to seek out medical attention, but had I not had these wonderful little ankle helpers, I would have be in bad shape.

Just wanted to thank you for making this amazing product. I have a bone spur and grade 2 torn tendon in my right ankle. Can barely walk the last two years. Tried every cream, many braces, special shoes, compress socks, canes, walker and a boot to relieve pain.

They’re working actually great. I tore a tendon in my foot and particularly the ice wrap works good. It stays on my ankle where it needs to be and it works out good. It’s a very good product.

I bought this because I hurt my ankle in sport, but kept rolling it at work and it would hurt and swell all over again- this ankle wrap around gave me the support I needed to not roll it again and helped with the swelling.
