I really like this product. I have a pony with queens itch that rubs her skin raw at every fly bite requiring antihistamines and strong fly sprays for years and she still itched. I like to be holistic so I took her off antihistamines that made her so out of it and started making my own fly sprays with essential oils and feeding garlic- she still itched.
i decided to order Skin Save Ointment and put it on every irritated fly bite daily. It stays on well and she relaxes without any itching to those areas, and also works well on minor wounds, healing skin and growing hair quicker.
I bought a new horse and when she arrived she had a severely sunburned nose and chin. She has a white blaze and nose and the poor thing was very sunburned. I used the Skin Save Ointment and it worked wonders on her nose and chin.
Within just a couple of days her nose was healing and looks much better. Highly recommended and works fast.
I love this ointment. It is great for areas that are difficult to bandage. It will dry on the skin leaving the wound covered. Keeps infection down and encourages regrowth of hair. I keep it on hand in the barn.
First aid cream for minor wounds burns or injured skin. Added aloe & wheat germ oil to help soothe skin. Softens injured skin to help relieve painful or itchy crusting. Cream spreads easily & absorbs quickly into skin.
“Vet Cream, Dad?” was what my kids always asked me after working to get those scuffs and abrasions, sunburn, poison plants, chapped hands, general First Aid Cream, wound ointment (I know this really speeds healing).
Great for sweat chaffing. Used it on my Shingles. They were gone in 10 days. It is the virtual all-purpose humolient healing lotion. I have used this product, personally, since 1975 when I was a Veterinary Sales Representative.
Like my credit card. I never go anywhere without it. Kids (all grown and gone from the nest, now) use it on their kid’s wounds of whatever kind. It is hard to find, mostly farm stores, equipment suppliers.
Should be in several rooms in the home. I endorse this product 100%! (Note: Back off on use if you start whinnying or barking. Ha!). It works for most all skin wounds.
It wasn’t what I expected. I was hoping for something thicker that would protect the summer sores. Bugs were bad this year and they ate her through a heavy fly sheet. Her hair still hasn’t grown back.
For the past year I have been trying to find a product that would help with my horses dry skin. My horse had two spots of dry skin between his chest and legs that I couldn’t get rid of and sometimes would crack and bleed.
Tried every cream and spray there was and nothing. I tried this product and it has been AMAZING. My horses skin is so smooth and no longer painful to touch there. I highly recommend if your horse has skin issues that won’t go away!.

Bought it because I thought it’d be nice to have a burn 1st aid. A few day ago, I accidentally spilled some hot oil on my hand. Cooled hand in cold water, iced with frozen vegetables, then followed Silvex directions.
It hurt. Tylenol was a must because I broke out in sweat. Amazingly, Silvex ex did make my wound felt better. 24 hours later, I felt good enough to bath and be without it for an hour. Then my hand began to throb again.
So you need to follow the direction and have this medication on for at least 2 days. This medication works because I noticed the difference when I didn’t have it on. 2 days later, I thought wow, “No blisters.
Skin looks good. ” So I spent over 12 hours without Silvex. Later my finger blistered (small one) after I didn’t wear Silvex for awhile. Now, my hand felt better again after I bandaged my hand with Silvex.
I don’t know what magic they put in this med, but it works. It works well. Just please follow their instructions for the duration specified, with the pads, etc. Don’t do what I did and interrupted the process like I did.
I’m sure I would have recovered quicker if I thoroughly followed their instructions.
Used it on my 1yr old, instantly made her burn feel better. Loved how it turned into a layer of coverage and instantly brought the redness and swelling down. Silvex cream is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of infection in burn wounds.
Silvex cream can also be used as an aid to the short-term treatment of infection in leg ulcers and pressure sores, and as an aid to the prophylaxis of infection in skin. It having Silvadene Cream 1% (silver sulfadiazine) is a topical (for the skin) antibiotic used to treat or prevent infections on areas of burned skin.
I have used a prescription silver medicine for burns that is amazing and I was so happy to see that you can finally buy silver for burns over the counter. Everyone should keep a tube of this for little burns that happen.
The relief is immediate and with the prescribed usage from the instructions it does a great job healing, especially compared to other things like petroleum jelly. While it could also work great on sunburn, it is a very tiny tube and you would have to buy a lot of tubes to cover an average sun burn.
Silver can stain so be careful with your clothes, towels and upholestry. Highly recommend!.

I love this stuff and NRS has it for a much cheaper price than my local stores. It’s like a better bag balm. It’s not as greasy and goes on clean. It also doesn’t attract as much dirt as other products.
It’s really easy to use and clean off. I had a horse with a smaller cut on the front of her pastern, so I put a triple antibiotic on it and ordered this online, but it still wasn’t healing so when I got this in the mail I put it on and the next day it was scabbed over and I didn’t have to treat it again.
I have tried everything to help with sores caused by my big draft cross grinding his hocks and hip into the very hard ground when getting up and down. Hock boots don’t stay on and neither do any kind of dressing.
A small amount of this salve applied daily, acts as a lubricant and antiseptic. Yes there are small abraded areas but this stuff keeps them small and looking good. I bought the big tub and used almost all of it last year, even though a small amount seems to do the trick.
I tried several other salves and creams; even one prescribed by the vet for general wounds and nothing worked as fast and as good on my horse?s hock sores from rolling on the hard baked summer dirt as Bickmore Gall Salve.

My cat burned the skin off two of his paws when he jumped onto the hot stove. He was taking forever to heal, it seemed, until the vet told me to buy Fura-Zone and use that in place of antibiotic ointment on his paws.
What was originally a 4-6 week prognosis of healing took literally 10 days once I started using the Fura-Zone! So help me, 10 days. It helped the charred, dead skin to slough off and the new skin to grow in its place.
I won’t call it a miracle salve because it seems like this outcome is what is expected from the product so I will simply say IT WORKS!!!.
Fura-zone is the best antibacterial ointment I’ve ever found for wounds, burns or sores. Unfortunately, I bought it on line and got an email saying it was ready to pick up. When I went to pick it up, I was informed that my purchase had been lost.
Three days later, they called to let me know that they had found it. It had gotten mixed up in a shipment of tools and parts and left back in the store room. The pick up process needs improvement.
Growing up around horses I learned that there is always a scratch, bite, burn, scar, or some type of “spot” that needs a little ointment. There are hundreds of different medicated ointments out there, but which one actually works? I have never found an injury small or large Fura-Zone couldn’t fix.
My horse has had small and large wounds all of which have been fixed within a matter of days thanks to this wonderful ointment! A little goes a very long way! Although there are 16 oz. of ointment, it will last you a very long time! Every veterinarian I have spoken to has sworn by Fura-Zone Ointment.
My horse had fallen on a large piece of metal on his leg and was suffering from a large cut. I thoroughly cleaned the area, applied Fura-Zone and a little vet wrap and by the next day it was already healing! Fura-Zone Ointment is always my Go-To Ointment!.
Banixx Wound Care Pet Cream with Marine Collagen for Dogs, Cats & Horses, 4-oz bottle; Help your furry friend feel better faster with Banixx Wound Care Small Animal Cream, a non-sticky, anti-microbial cream designed to prevent fungal and bacterial issues.
Safe for equine and canine pals, it’s formulated to aid in the recovery of cuts, wounds, and skin infections. It also helps with ringworm, hot spots, rain rot, yeast infections, and fungus. Enriched with marine collagen to help repair damaged hair and skin, this special formula is made without parabens, steroids or alcohol.
After repeated visits to the vet with custom mixed and expensive medicine to treat a yeast skin infection, only to see it return days later, I decided to try the trio of products. Shampoo, cream and a spray.
The red and swelling on her chin and neck is gone and the uncontrollable itching and hair loss has stopped. Her fur is now growing back, thick and soft. I highly recommend this for yeast related skin problems.
This stuff is amazing. My dog had a mast cell tumor removed and the wound dehisced, leaving a gaping wound on her snout that we had to allow to heal by secondary intention rather than risk causing more inflammation.
This stuff really seemed to help her heal and soothe discomfort. I will always keep some of this around!.
This started working day one for my dog! He had inflammation from a nail bed injury, and a slight rash from scratching. His skin instantly started to improve and looks great now!

Also, helps with softening older and persistent scabs to heal wounds underneath. Absorbine Silver Honey Rapid Wound Repair Ointment provides natural debridement of wounds to help shed dead tissue and promote new tissue growth with added moisturization.
This rapid wound repair ointment contains neem oil that repels insects and bittering agent that prevents animals from licking the area to promote faster healing. Free of hypochlorous acid and pH balanced, making it safe from disrupting animal’s skin natural microbiome.
I had heard a lot of positive things about this product. I found the most disappointing part to be the consistency. The spray comes out so thin and runny that it just drips right off the wound. It does not stick to the would creating a barrier like it says it would.
I have another product that is more of a water-based gel and it goes on and stays there to create a barrier and really soak into the wound. This stuff drips down so fast you arent even sure the wound got any of the medicine.
I use this ointment on my off the track Thoroughbred mare who arrived at my farm with scabby legs from sitting in a field for a year. After washing her legs with medicated wash and drying them well, I applied the Silver Honey ointment daily to her scabs.
I am delighted with the results. Dramatic healing in less than a week. Now, her legs are clean, healed and healthy. I also use it on my retired senior Paint who is prone to pastern dermatitis when we have a lot of rain.
In three days, his pasterns healed and new hair is growing in. Best ointment ever! Well worth it. I’ll always keep it in hand in my tack room.
I bought this to use on my mare that had damaged her leg. Between the healing properties and the ease of use, it’s earned it’s place as a staple item in my first aid kit. I had wished that it was stickier but that’s what the ointment is for.
Excellent product and a must have for any ranch. I especially love the horizontal or vertical spray pattern option.
This ointment helps prevent infection, aids in pain relief and provides a fly, water and germ barrier. Helps relieve topical conditions that may have a bacterial and or fungal basis. Contains emu oil and tea tree oil to help promote healing.
The antiseptic action of benzalkonium chloride, salicylic acid menthol helps prevent infection before it starts. Benzocaine, a topical anesthetic, aids in pain relief. The botanical oils create the first line of defense against irritants that could delay healing and lead to infection.
For use on cuts, scrapes, scratches, bites, rope burns, abrasions and skin irritations. Directions: Apply directly to the wound. Repeat 1 to 3 times daily as necessary.
I like to keep a few different products in my first aid kit and when there are cuts or wounds to treat, I like to use a couple of different gels/products over different days as I feel like different ingredients can do different things and collectively, you can end up with nicer healing in terms of scarring.
This product is similiar to another product I already use ingredient wise, but is almost 30% cheaper. For that reason, I like to keep this product it in my first aid kit to alternate with the other wound gel products I have.
Easy to apply consistency, and it does a good job keeping a wound clean and moist. I would recommend it.
My horse suffered two 6-inch avulsions to the front of both hind legs. The skin was completely removed from both injuries after the horse found herself lassoed by a stray nylon round-bale twine. The wounds exposed the flesh underneath and the swelling was painful.
I liberally applied TRI-Care 3-Way to sanitary napkins that I use as bandages – they’re cheaper and more absorbent. I secured each bandage with 4″ flexible self-stick vet wrap. Everyday I changed the dressing, I smelled each wound, trying to identify tell-tale odor of infection.
It’s now been two weeks and even though both injuries will take many months to heal completely, the TRI-Care 3-Way provided the protection against any additional assault to the injuries. It provided an excellent viscous barrier from contaminants.
It also reduces the pain during recovery in addition to fighting infections. One word of advice, if you’re needing to use this product in the winter, you’ll want to prep the bandages where it’s warm.
This product is impossible to get out of the tube in freezing temps.
I bought this product Saturday and used it Sunday on my mare since she got her foot stuck in the fence and she pull it out and ripped off the hid of her ankle right above the coronary band. I used many products before I bought and used this product! With that being said I put this on the huge cuts Sunday, then went and checked it today (Monday) and I saw a huge difference in the healing process.
It completely works, it is however a little pricey but it you have wounds that are not healing on your horse or even dogs it works like magic to heal the old or new wound within a 24hr period. If you want a true product to protect wounds and stop bugs from getting on it look no longer.

My 26 year old horse caught dry land distemper. Anyone trying to save a horse knows what I’m talking about. Absest after absest this cream is the best. Heals up the sores from the blow outs around the coronet band.
Lost fur and 2 layers of skin, what a painful event. This cream has a comfort feeling while applying. It was to a point she would NOT let me catch her nor get near the sores using other products, no improvement and more irritated and chewing at her ankles.
But after using this cream she stands still. NO halter needed and no tie up. I do believe this cream was apart of saving her life. This is the only product I will buy from now on and apply to my horse.
Shes making a full recovery and skin and fur just about back to normal. No scars! Also keeps flies out of open sores!!! Its a must try you will see results and maybe save your horse. Happy trails QT!.
I tried this a couple months ago, on my rottweiler mix, who’s very allergic to flea bites. She’ll chew and scratch to raw skin, and at eleven years old, is also sensitive to many meds, but this product, with only three ingredients, helps relieve the itching, and fleas jump off immediately, if temporarily.
Her skin is now soft, recovering and fur regrowing. Nu Stock is messy, doesn’t smell pretty, and it takes a lot to apply all over if necessary. DON’T leave the tiniest amount of residue on your hands and touch your eyes, nor get it in the eyes of a pet.
The pine oil is painful. Application requires diligence. But as I watch my old girl feel better, with a much better appetite and vigor, any inconvenience is minor, and worth it beyond words. I don’t plan to be without it in my household, to use as needed.
I love that this is three ingredients. Where can you find this strength sulfur?! Pine tar and sulfur have antibacterial properties! Keep out of eyes! This works great on puppies and I’ve used it on myself too for itchy skin.
The pine smell is strong yet refreshing. It works wonders on hot spots.
Farnam TRI-Care Wound Cream helps prevent infection, promotes healing and aids in pain relief. Formulated with powerful salicylic acid and tea tree oil with natural hygienic properties, it also contains benzocaine and menthol for pain relief.
This cream helps relieve topical conditions that may have an underlying origin and provides a barrier against insects, water and germs. It won’t dry out superficial wounds and will condition the edges.
Also softens and loosens crusts caused by Scratches. Apply directly to wound 1 to 3 times daily, as needed. 14 oz.
Our golden retrevier came down with allergy hot spots went to the vet 4 times. Pills, creams, ointments etc. over 1200. 00 of doctor visits and 3 refills of ointments. Bought this and within a week and a half sores started to clear up.
Still on anti biotic to ward off infections but this ointment was a life saver.
My neighbor loaned her Tri-Care Triple Action Wound Treatment to me when one of our horses got tangled in the wire fence. It seemed to soothe his leg wounds while keeping the flies off and within a couple days they were healing well.
It has a pleasant menthol-like-liniment aroma which also seemed to reduce the swelling in his knees. I ordered some from Santa Cruz and now I’m using it on my allergic horse to keep him from scratching his itchy spots.
SULFODENE OINTMENT AT A BETTER PRICE. This is exactly the same as Sulfodene ointment for much less. I use this on any cuts or sores on my dogs. Helps is heal and it tastes terrible so they do not lick it off much.
Help your furry friend heal with Banixx Wound Care Pet Cream. This anti-microbial cream works to prevent multiple fungal and bacterial issues and is enriched with marine collagen to repair damaged hair and skin.
Formulated for aid in the recovery of cuts, wounds and skin infections, it also helps with ringworm, hot spots, rain rot, yeast infections and fungus. Safe for both horses and dogs, Banixx Wound Care Pet Cream contains no paraben, steroids or alcohol.
So glad I had this product set aside “just in case”. My mare had a dirty scrape injury to her right front leg. I was unable to clean off the dried blood & dirt with water & a soft cloth, so I tried this cream for the first time.
It softened & treated the injured area. Two days later the wound looked 80% better & was healing up faster than I would have expected.
Used this for a hot spot on my dogs paw. Really didn’t do much. He licked the hot spot almost immediately. I’ve been trying many different brands and have not been able to come up with one that stops the licking.
I have been to the vet twice and was given medication both to swallow and spray and nothing seems to work.
I like this cream a lot. It stays where you put it, and my mare seemed to really appreciate the gentle massaging I cave her with the cream. I use the spray, but she seems to prefer the cream. 🙂
Tri Care Display, is three key solutions all in one product. It is an antiseptic, pain reliever and fly barrier in one ointment. Formula allows your horse to heal properly while easing his discomfort.
For use on cuts, scrapes, scratches, bites, rope burns, abrasions and skin irritations. Benzocaine aids pain relief. Ointment creates a barrier against flies, germs and water. Also contains emu oil and tea tree oil to help promote healing.
Aids in treating tropical conditions with a bacterial or fungal basis. Easy-to-use tube that keeps product clean, free of dirt. Has great refreshing scent of Citronella.
My Mare skinned both back legs really bad. Corona just wasn’t helping. I tried this ointment and saw a nice improvement in two days. The skin healed and now the hair is growing back. As bad as the injuries were I really did not think that the hair would come back, but it is.
The pain relieving properties were also apparent. My mare was clearly more comfortable after each fresh application.
Arm yourself with the versatile power of the Sulfodene 3-Way Ointment for Dogs. Dog owners know that skin-related issues are common, whether it’s a minor cut, infection or irritation from scratching too much due to allergies or hot spots.
Whatever the case may be, this three-way ointment works to prevent infection, aids in pain relief, and provide a barrier against flies and germs. First aid dog ointment helps prevent infection, aids in pain relief and provides a barrier against flies and germs.
Helps relieve topical bacterial and/or fungal skin conditions. For use on cuts, scrapes, bites, abrasions and skin irritation.
I originally got this product for my dog. I noticed that he started to get a rash on his underbelly, later found out it’s because he has an allergy to pollen and he liked to rub all over the grass. Fast forward a year or two, I took in a dog with fur loss and really bad skin problems.
At first, I thought it was mange, but after using this, I noticed how much of a difference her skin looks now! She had red skin with scabs and now it’s not red at all and her fur is finally coming back.
I wish they made bigger bottles of this stuff! I pour some in a spray bottle and use warm water to dilute it. Though it’s not necessary to do so, I’m trying to conserve as much as I can so that I can use it longer on her without having to go spend another 8$.
Long story short, if you’re looking into getting this for your dog that seems to be having rash problems, I highly suggest you get it. And I hope that someday in the future they may be able to make something like this into shampoo or something of that sort.
I never write reviews, but had to comment on how well this works in case it will help someone else. I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever with chronic skin issues and hot spots. We’ve had multiple trips to the vet where I hear its probably just an allergy and common for retrievers.
Common or not, our poor dog regularly gets spots that make him suffer so I’ve been on a mission to find an at home treatment that would help. I’ve tried multiple creams, ointments and shampoos and nothing outside of a vet prescription has worked until this.
It took a few days, but his spots are clearing up and the constant attempts at licking and scratching have stopped. If you’ve been unsuccessful at treating skin issues, give this stuff a try! The smell is pretty strong (reminds me of Vick’s Vapor Rub) but its worth it for a few days to get relief and far less expensive that a vet prescribed ointment.
I bought this to soothe my girls paws after she ran them raw playing on concrete. This claims to relieve pain but I’m not sure how to measure the effectiveness since she can’t tell me if her pain is relieved or not.
But the ointment did make her rough pads soft by the next day. The consistency is like a regular ointment. It kind of like melts when you rub it between your hands which makes it easy to spread on her paws.
It smells like ice hot thing that humans use. My girl didn’t mind the smell. The ointment kind of got on the bed sheets and left a little spot but it doesn’t really matter to me. She didn’t really lick the ointment off her paws.
I would recommend. The bottle is smaller than I thought it would be. It’s half the size of my hand but a little goes a long way so it should last.

Helps to treat fungal and bacterial skin conditions on animals. Made with tea tree oil. Contains biopolysan booster. Specially formulated with advanced anti-fungal & anti-bacterial ingredients. Along with tea tree oil to soothe.
Ideal treatment for pesky skin conditions such as girth itch.
A really great product that has worked well for my horse! Softened up some bad scratches within a few days and started to heal. I use it now to help prevent or apply as needed. I also use it on her dry elbows.
Cleaning and clipping legs helps the process. I rinse off any mud (clean with soap when I have time) and apply the product, it has done the trick every time.
The lid was not taped shut. When I got the product out of the box, the lid came off in my hand and spilled everywhere. In addition, half the product had leaked into the box because the lid was not secured.
This stuff is expensive and cleaning up the mess was awful, as this is a gooey product. I won’t be purchasing this from chewy again.
My gelding has some rain rot type of issue on his neck and face. I used a homemade tumeric potion on his neck which stained everything yellow. Wanted something different for his white face. I think this cleared up the problem but even with applying a modest amount his face looked like he’d never been groomed ever! It’s too cold to wash so it will just have to wear off.
It looks just like Vaseline, and it does stay put where applied so it was a good choice for the face as I was worried about it getting in his eyes.

I think the title explains this medication cream. This is the BEST medicated cream I have ever used. About a year ago I had a little calf that had a sore on his nose from his halter rubbing him. I ran across this cream and thought what the heck do I have to loose, let’s try it.
And within 3 day I seen he was healing. Within 1 weeks the sore was completely healed. Fast forward to exactly 1 month ago today. I had a heifer (first time momma cow) give birth and it went terribly wrong.
The calf had to be pulled and my cow momma tore from one hole to the other. (Pictures are way to graphic) Anyways, I have been using this on her everyday 3 times a day for a month and she has healed nicely.
Almost to the point that she has closed completely up but She will still require reconstructive surgery because the tare was so bad. And trust me, ill be using this cream on her after surgery. Doctors said surgery in 6 months but because we have been using this cream to help her heal inside and out, she will have surgery in 3 months.
Her doctor’s were even surprised that a cream like this has helped her so much. I keep tubs of this on hand always now. I have use it on my horse’s, dogs, cow’s, ect. I honestly can’t tell you how much this cream has been a lifesaver for my animal’s.
And the best part is you don’t need a prescription for it.
I’m very sceptical about trying meds away from what I know work. But everyone was out of them. So I had the opportunity to use this. I’ve used it on a dog that got tore up by a coyote and almost all the hair grew back and left few scars and left skin soft.
Used on 2 different horses with 2 different injuries and this stuff is amazing.
We bought this for our rescue paint who it turns out has photosensitivity. This has done an amazing job of healing his skin. This is wonderful stuff!! Definitely keeping this in stock for anything else that comes up, it will be a standard in my first aid!!.

I’ve picked this up in store as well as online. It’s a really good product, and helps my dog every single time. She has a nasty habit of not watching where she’s going when she’s outside and playing and comes back frequently with cuts or scrapes.
A friend recommended this to me a long time ago and I’ve been using it regularly since. We trim the fur around irritated cuts and then apply this. Cayley doesn’t like the taste so she lets her cuts heal just fine.
I will say that if you get the tube just screw the cap off and use it, the applicator sometimes gets clogged, but the tube end is just fine. I recently moved and my parents have Cayley, but my kitten Cara has gotten it too and it helped her scars heal when she got fixed.
I started using this on my dog’s leg. He licked his incision open about a week after suture removal and exposed the internal stitches. So on went the cone again and I bought this stuff. The incision is now scabbed over and healing the way it should with twice daily applications and bandage changes.
My dog was unfortunately burned by a malfunctioning surgical machine during a routine operation at the vet. She had a wound that didn’t ever heal 100%. Thanks to this product it is now healed and beginning to grow hair again.
Amazing. Just so happy; finally we can put this horrible wound behind us.
HoneyHeel is a rich, soothing cream for horses that provides a protective barrier over minor wounds and supports the natural healing process. It is formulated with raw honey and zinc oxide, two naturally active, antibacterial healing agents that promote the natural formation of healthy tissue.
The sticky consistency helps HoneyHeel stay in place, allowing the active agents to maintain contact with the skin. The addition of aloe vera enhances the soothing effect of the cream.
Honeyheel is an amazing product great healing properties natural product of nature works wonders on scar tissue would definitely recommend rgds Mr Elliott
NFZ Wound Dressing (nitrofurazone ointment) is a water soluble antibacterial ointment administered topically for the prevention or treatment of surface bacterial infections in wounds, burns and cutaneous ulcers in dogs, cats, and horses.
While my dog was recovering from cancer surgery he developed a sore on the point of his elbow from rubbing against the bandages. This sore became a problem when it began to open up as the flesh deteriorated during radiation therapy.
Eventually, the wound became infected and was open to the elbow joint, the bone was visible. A friend, who had been an Army Vet in Iraq, told us about Fura-Zone, which they used to heal their guard dogs without having to send them out of country.
We purchased it and brought it to or vet who began using it on my boy’s wound. The wound us now healing nicely and we have gotten ahead of the infection. The vet is attributing the rapid turn around to this product!.
I am very pleased with this ointment. My horse had hock sores that I could not get to heal. I tried Corona, Blue Lotion and other remedies. I then used Betadine to sanitize the sores and then treated both hocks with this Furazone and WOW.
the sores are almost completely healed. I wanted to let others know my experience as it is so frustrating to have these open sores on my mares legs and not be able to help them heal.
We have all types of animals and this works on them all. Recently our burros had their legs eaten up by flies and I just coat their legs with this and in a day or so there healedl. Being burros aren’t the easiest to work with, this stuff goes on without them jumping around.
Can’t beat the price and the coating seems to last longer than other stuff I’ve used.
