Snout Soother is an absolutely amazing product. I took my boy to his veterinarian because his nose was so cracked and always bleeding. They told me he had old man nose and to try to keep putting vitamin E cream on it.

I have my horses on a equine paste rotation. I place my yearly order knowing that all expiration dates will be far enough out that all the products will be current. Santa Cruz recommends that the Safe-Guard Paste be part of the rotation.

This is a great product that I use for worming for my Llama and Alpaca. It’s safe, easy to use and they seem to like the taste. So far, after years of using this, they are worm free.

I have never had a problem with any of my horses getting doses of the ivermectin two times a year whether they’re on pasture or stable. Small concentrated amount slips in mouth corner easily. Great product affordable price! Horses have always test clean.

I am a Biology major and my father is a doctor who always says that the generic is just as good as the brands. In fact, many doctors are leaning that way and I think it’s because of this economy. It has the same ingredients as the brand names and is 90% cheaper is some instances.

why not? My horse is my child and other than my students, I have no children and he gets everything he needs and I think he wants. I raised him from a baby and he always has and always will get the best.

In the case of wormer, this is technically the best since it’s the same active ingredients. Tip for any medication is to always look at the active ingredients. The inactive ones only matter if there is an allergy, etc.

I dosed 12 equine with this product Saturday and all were good, I didn’t even have to hold up the heads of my two who usually fuss. Three begged for more as if i’d just given them carrots or apples. And my big Belgium App refused to give me the tube back he just kept sucking on it.

When I did get it from him and turned to leave his stall he pulled another from my pocket. My foals mouthed the tube and I squeezed the medicine out and they sucked it right down. Them and my ponies get a partial tube and I was very happy with the dosing slide.

I purchased three tubes of Ivermectin which I give to Goats and Rabbits on my farm. I had bought it before from another Supplier but went ahead and purchased it from this one even though I was quite happy with the last one.

I was amazed to see how little of the product came out of the syringes and there seemed to be a lot of air vs actual product coming out of the syringe. The Rabbits need only a small amount of this but I used almost all of the three syringes for the goats and rabbits is one treatment.

Should of stayed with the last Supplier.

Used to deworm chickens as a preventative since we are in hot humid wet Florida. Used. 25 ml per pound. Easy to administer, soaked a small piece of bread with the appropriate dose for each chicken and they gobble it up.

Separate each chicken when administering though as they like to steal each others dose:). Did this for 5 days straight, do early in the morning before they eat for the day. I did discard the eggs for 14 days, even though I read you do not have to, better be safe (used shells in my garden).

All of my girls seems to feel alot better and had a ton more energy!.

Easy to go online and acquire the exact dosages needed to worm other species – Canine, Feline, Poultry. Much easier to use and less expensive than the powders and crystals packaged and sold for each of those species.

I have even used it for my indoor pet caged birds as well. This is a VERY safe product “WHEN USED AS DIRECTED”. I highly recommend Safeguard liquid Goat De-wormer But, PLEASE FOLLOW DIRECTIONS FOR EACH SPECIES.

Do your research. Talk to YOUR Veterinarian. There are other breeders out there who have gone to their Veterinarian and gotten the dosages correct for the species they are de-worming. Be frugal – but be SAFE!.

Need a syringe to measure as this is a liquid—- treat 3 days for worms and 5 days for active giardia diarrhea. Start puppies on nemix at 2 & 4 weeks and switch to this at 6 & 8 weeks and up. 1 cc per 5lb dog weight or.

2 cc for each pound. Safe product for dogs Doses multiple dogs. This is my 4th bottle. Paid $150 vet for diarrhea caught at park – for dangerous antibiotics when I could have treated with this for $20+.

revival animal has a great online library that describes giardia treatment. Great to have on hand for immediate treatment for diarrhea and great idea to worm your dogs cheaper because dogs DO have worms — all animals have worms.

Giardia is a protozoan not a worm but this medicine works. Says it treats tapeworms but not the kind fleas carry as there are multiple types— you need another wormer for flea tapeworms.

Here on the East Coast, EquMax is extremely hard to find. I was so relieved to find a supplier with very reasonable prices. I have older horses, I know that EquiMax is safe and effective to use on these fellows.

They always look much healthier after dosing.

I have been using this wormer for many years now. It is easy to use and my vet did recommend this product. It is pretty thick and when you place the tube properly in their mouth, mine have a hard time throwing it back out their mouth.

Nothing more aggravating than buying a paste and it ends up on the ground. My horses have never had an issue/reaction to this product. It helps with bots (and various worms) in the fall and I use it every year.

An affordable price too.

Maybe it’s odd to have a favorite wormer, but this is mine. The tubes are easy to use, easy to hold, and the actual wormer is kind of. sticky? Gloopy? I’m not sure how to describe it, but if you get it back into their mouth, they have a hard time spitting it out instead of swallowing it.

By their reactions, I don’t think it tastes as bad as most either. I’ve been using Equimax for years on multiple horses, and (knock on wood) no one has ever had a bad reaction/tummy ache/etc. And with all of these pros, it also gets the job done.

We used frontline regularly and to the day every month. Our very sociable Sproker stills managed to get a flea infestation whilst on this. She selfishly didn’t indicate she had them with excessive scratching 😂 so therefore our house also got a dose of the fleas.

A great deal of time has been spent on de bugging both the house and dog. We comb her through a couple times a day, we have noticed we’re now only finding 1 or 2 a time and they appear to be juveniles ( not reaching full maturity).

They’re also near dead when they’re removed, so the collar does appear to be working. We have used indorex spray for our home which is better than the several other brands we had tried, although it requires more than the 1 can suggested.

Last fall I was fighting a Brown dog ticks infestation indoors. Topicals weren’t working to protect my dogs at all. I was pulling dozens of ticks off them daily. Bombing the house and spraying indoors and out.

As soon as the collars went on my dogs the ticks around them died. No more ticks latching on to suck their blood. The ticks went away in my house by December. So I thought! They suddenly reappeared or rose from the dead just before Easter.

No doubt they went inside the walls or other hiding places to come out again in the spring. My dogs have remained tick free since Nivember when their collars went on. My 17? year old German Shepherd, Zoe passed in March so I will only be ordering two collars this time.

I’m grateful that her last few months she was happy and didn’t have to be drained by blood sucking parasites or have me constantly pulling ticks off her. Hoping the tick cycle will be broken soon as I am still finding hundreds of dead and live ticks looking to feed.

The website is normally quite good and they replied fairly quick to my complaint but I am not happy with the product I bought: Seresto Flea and Tick Control. After few days of wearing the collar my dog started to get bumps on his neck.

I took it to the vet and it was an skin infection and prescribed antibiotics. When I removed the collar to apply the treatment, I discovered the inner side had 3 flexible rubber spikes. These, together with the heat probably provoked the sores.

I wrote to Pet Drugs Online and they said they were going to write to the manufacturer after I provided the batch number. Unfortunately I didn’t think of taking pictures of the sores or spikes but I do have the bill from my vet (almost £90).

After removing the spikes I apply the collar again when the sores had healed and I’m checking for any reactions but, so far so good but I’m still waiting reply from the manufacturer. Please check that the collar inner side is smooth before putting it on your dog otherwise it will end up being a very expensive Flea and Tick Treatment!.

I didn’t know what to expect but this stuff blew me away with how quickly it worked. Super easy dosing but I had to supply my own syringe to measure what I needed for small puppies. Within 20 minutes no joke, bouquets of worms came out of my 4 week puppies.

Dry heaving and shocked is how I described my reaction. I fostered baby puppies for the first time so this was my first experience with an initial worming but I’m in shock. Excited to see how their 6 week deworming goes – I hope alllll worms are gone and the babies get to keep all the nutrients they need!.

I am fostering 5 kittens and a series of information led me to believe that this dewormer would be safe to also use on cats. For reference, the Kitten Lady had a link to an amazon seller selling this, yet in another dewormer video she talks about getting prescription dewormer from your vet?! I had to order online and wait over a week to get it.

I am very scared to deworm the kittens with over the counter medicines because I read of certain brands killing cats. Using this dewormer on a kitten would be like a speck of dosage and that doesn’t sit right with me.

I am sure this is good for what it is actually suited for, a dog, which is why I gave 5 stars. But I will be returning and NOT be using as a kitten dewormer. I will pay the high vet costs to make sure the kittens are dewormed correctly.

Some things aren’t worth the risk with DIY.

We are very happy with Nemex-2 to treat all of our puppies. Yes we have used the regular pyrantel pamoate for adults in the past. The puppies are “Much Happier” with the taste of the Nemex. Will continue to purchase and use this.

I have gotten this item a few times with no problems. My dogs ate them like treats. But this time my dogs just would not eat it. Tried wrapping in a pill pocket, didn’t work. Mixed(crushed) with tuna fish, would not eat.

I think they changed the taste/smell. The other ones I had gotten was when Bayer made them. Elanco took over Bayer, and I wish I had an older box to compare ingredients.

Do not waste your money on this unless your dog is HIGHLY food driven. I purchased the largest dose for my GSD and he refuses to eat it. First I coated it with peanut butter (what I normally do with his pills).

He spat out the 1st pill and wouldn’t even lick the peanut butter off of it, so I wrapped it in cheese. Again he turned his nose up at it and wouldn’t even smell it. I then took off the cheese, scraped off the peanut butter, crushed both pills and mixed in a small amount of the crushed pills with a scoop of peanut butter.

He sniffed the mixture and refused it again. Now, let me add that this is a 100lb male German shepherd and he hasn’t eaten since yesterday evening. I offered him a piece of kibble and he inhaled it which tells me he is very hungry and (should) be happy to accept peanut butter (his favorite treat).

I’m getting frustrated at this point. This dewormer is not cheap and he needs to ingest this medicine, so I pull out my ninja food processor and start working on a solution. I put the enierty of both crushed pills (and the spoonful of peanut butter with some of the pill) in the ninja and add another one of his favorite foods (apples) with a few table spoons of water.

This boy would live off apples and peanut butter if I let him, so I’m thinking SURLY the puréed apple will mask the crushed pills and he will find it (somewhat) palatable. I even took it a step further after pulverizing the mixture to pure liquid and poured it over half a scoop of his food (Victor High Pro+).

He won’t even come near the bowl. I am so frustrated with this dewormer! I will NEVER buy this again! My dog has had to have several forms of medicine in his life and I always choose pill form because I know he’d eat anything with a smear of peanut butter on it.

Pill form medication gives me the peace of mind of knowing that he’s ingested the full dose, which is 100% not the case here. I’ve coaxed him into eating (maybe) 1/4th of ONE pill out of two! If I could give this dewormer negative stars, I would.

I can’t even say if it is effective or not because it is so severely unpalatable that I can’t even administer half a dose!!.

So I originally ordered panacur from Chewy. I have used the product many times before as I worked as a kennel manager and took care of employers breeding dogs. I’ve known many other well known breeders to use the exact one I ordered.

However Chewy didn’t agree so I cancelled the order. I needed to rush and get a dewroemer because well the longer I wait the more the round worm is just going to be rent free in my dogs body and that’s a no no for me.

Sooo 6am this morning I drove out to Walmart to only see this brand available even tho their website showed panacur. I was very hesitant about it but said I jave no choice. I stood there reading over and over looking on line how to administrator these tablets.

It did. not have any instructions on how far apart you should give the pill. All it states is give one and see tour vet. That’s stupid! This is why I wanted Panacur. It’s basic knowledge and actually has info on how many times to give and the amount.

I would not recommend it.

These worked right away for my 12 pound 1 year old dog. It took overnight to see the results. I snuck it into a chewy treat before bedtime and he didn’t notice it at all since they are super small. After receiving only 1 of the 2 pills (give second pill 2-3 months later for lasting results), he didn’t have anymore worms coming out of his poop and randomly out of his butt.

He was constipated for about two weeks to a month and I don’t know if it had anything to do with the worms or the pill but he’s never had that issue before. It was a pretty quick fix by switching out his food temporarily for soft/watery food.

Do not think twice about getting it for them as it is life threatening to wait too long for a vet visit. Worth the money 1000%.

I received a puppy, the lady I received her from definitely used this to deworm the whole litter and she made sure to get them all checked at our local tractor supply store whenever they had the vet there.

Whenever I received the puppy she looked thin but she was full of energy and life, the following day no different but she looked a little thinner to me and I just figured maybe I was imagining things, then noticed my baby was not wanting to eat.

I tried everything to feed her. As the following day went she was full of energy one minute all of a sudden she was tired not wanting to play and I just couldn’t help but feel I’m not imagining this, this dog is getting thinner, she’s not eating, and she doesn’t want to get up and play.

I hurried up the next morning, after being up all night scared that this new puppy 8 weeks old was not going to make it, to the actual vet. The bet assured me this did not just happen that this has been a progression for a bit.

She is still at the vet trying to recover. I had ironically a friend who two years ago went through the same thing with a Puppy she got from a breeder who used this product at well. It the end please just bring your dogs to the vet, they keep a whole record of your pet while they are with you, and they are more experienced, no they don’t know everything either but I promise you they can at the very least deworm your babies properly and they can help you monitor them, they can recommend things based on experience not mass production.

Remember what works for a dog that already has a good immune system might not work on a dog that does not, but this product will not tell you that just after the fact of possible serious infection because you swear you dewormed your pup call the vet.

Eliminate the extra step, health of your pup, and save your few dollars and just bring the pup to the vet!.

This doesn’t work! Excuse my language, but this product is now costing me potential buyers! I just got back from the vet for my pups 8-week checkup and health certificates, and they are INFESTED with roundworms and hookworms! INFESTED! They’ve been given a 3-day strong dose of dewormer from our vet to try and knock them out.

They said it could take weeks. So now I have to wait until they receive a negative testing before I can sell. I had buyers lined up and deposits put in. I gave to the pups this de-wormer every 2 weeks/weight as directed.

The vet said this is 1/10th of the strength they should be given.

We bought this item almost two weeks ago to worm our litter of puppies when they were just shy of 8 weeks old. Two puppies that we had left after selling the rest we took to the vet yesterday for a check up, they did the normal routine test which included a fecal exam, both puppies came back negative for any parasites.

I have no complaints what-so-ever. It was easy to administer to the puppies and took care of all parasites the babies had. We also gave it to our adult dogs which was a breeze as well. I will definitely buy again when necessary and will definitely recommend.

I am a dog grooming shop owner. I rehilbiate raccoons, chipmunks & possums. I also get a lot of feral cats around from feeding the wild animals. All my domesticated pets(3 dogs & 1 cat & a blind guinea pig) are handicapped, I take the pets no one wants.

I just had a feral kitten follow me into the house, so now I have 2 cats. I keep them on this ALL YEAR LONG. I would NEVER let my cats out but for the ignorant humans that do, they are just asking for fleas, gardia worms, toxoplasmosis, ect.

Since the chipmunks sometimes sneak in the house, I don’t want to worry & all my pets have been fine. The new Kitten just had it’s 1st vet check & I put this on as soon as I came home. Can’t recommend it enough.

When I first adopted my cat, they told me to continue purchasing revolution plus. The vet office her adoption agency told me to use was charging me almost 60 dollars for a 1-month dose and $120 for the 3 month dose.

They were entirely too expensive and it wasn’t feasible for me to drive up to the vet office and keep buying the one month doses each time she needed her meds. Her vet office wasn’t local by any means and was a 30-40 minute drive.

It also wasn’t going to work b/c I’m a college student full time and go to school 3 and a half hours away. When I tried contacting her VCA Lilburn vet clinic to get pet meds approved, they told me they couldn’t do it.

I found another vet in my college town and they had no problem approving the meds for her every 3 months, and I haven’t had any issues since. 1-800 pet meds is SO much cheaper plus they ALWAYS have the EZREFILL discount code for me to use.

Chewy pharmacy was slightly expensive too, and I haven’t found anything cheaper or easier than 1-800 pet meds.

I appreciate Bravecto’s effectiveness. I’m forced to use the topical version for our pit bull; she detests the oral no matter how much effort and cleverness I devote to getting it down her throat. She has very short fur.

It’s more challenging administering topical to her than it was for our longer-furred dogs. Today she immediately shook off the topical, spraying droplets in a 4 foot radius on the kitchen floor. What I learned today is that for her next dose I will 1) administer it outdoors 2) cover the administered area with Saran wrap for a minute or so, to let as much as possible absorb before she attempts to shake it all off 3) wear rubber gloves If you have other suggestions for the topical, I’d like to hear them.

I wasn’t aware that bravecto came in a topical form. My senior pup has been taking the chews for 10 years and all of a sudden one day decided he wasn’t going to eat them anymore. I tried everything but to know avail and I had just bought four doses of the chews for $248.

I called the parent company Merck and told them about my dilemma and the fact that I had already wasted one dose of the chews which cost $62. Merck was very helpful and offered to send four replacement doses of topical to my vet at no charge to me.

I had already bought one dose of topical from chewy to get him through till I figured out the situation with the chews. This medication and the company that manufactures it rate a 10 in my book.

Our dog is 14, and has some kidney and liver issues, and we did not want to use edibles. So we recently switched to Bravecto Topical. Chewy was great, shipped fast at a good price. Our dog tolerated the topical very well with no skin reaction, unlike prior skin reactions to other brands.

Easy to apply, and the 12 week dose is very convenient. No sign of fleas or ticks still about 7 weeks after application. Definitely a great product and Chewy is very easy to deal with.

We have enjoyed the pleasures and pain of many furry, hairy and woolly loving family members in our long lifetime together. All of them had their individual characteristics however they all were suseptical to common parasitic infestations, in particular fleas.

Over the years we have found that isolating our pets from others is the best way to keep our cats and dogs flea free. Of course this is not always possible as even a few seconds of close contact with another animal can result in flea transfer causing a flea infestation of all of our pets and their environments which can be very difficult to eliminate no matter what methods/products are used.

Obviously prevention is better than cure. So topical treatments are available and recommended for both cats and dogs We tried many brands promoted by vets, friends, breeders and other pet owners. Some came with such good reputations according to those promoting the products that we were shocked when we found they did not work.

On one visit to a very experienced vet he pronounced that our cat had fleas. Not many but she did have fleas nevertheless. We told him we had been treating her with a well known popular and not cheap brand.

He said the only effective way to prevent fleas and many other parasites in dogs and cats is to use Advocate. He gave us some to try and over the many years since our pets have been completely flea and worm free.

We still isolate our pets from others as much as possible but we have confidence in knowing our four legged family members are very safe from catching nasty parasites from all sorts of sources when we ensure they have their regular dose of Advocate.

Advocate is different from other brands because it actually works – always !.

I purchased Advocate after reading good reviews about it for my new adopted kitten. For all three treatments I have done for the cat so far, I observed he scratches his head even more, when he wasn’t before we did the first application.

I examined him closely but did not find any flea so I think the scratching are observed right after the flea treatments. The first two applications were not entirely smooth, I managed to just stain the back of his neck before he ran away.

At the third application, I succesfully parted the fur at the back of his neck and squirted the treatment directly on his skin, as in the instruction. I was horrified that on the third day I found two bald patches on the application site.

The skin looks clean and not inflammed, but nonetheless, bald. I am now worried for his next treatment and wondering if I should give this product one more try before trying to find another option to the flea treatment.

I have been using this since I got my little boy. I use this one because the RSPCA uses it. It is easy to apply and smells good. It appears to work, as I haven’t seen any of the target organisms on my boy.

Just make sure you apply it high enough on the neck and head that your little darling can’t lick it off. My husband applied it once and he put it too low on the neck. My little boy licked some off and was sick and not moving much for at least 5 days.

That only happened the once and it has been good otherwise.
