These are a really nice set of rubber coated Olympic weights. Well worth the few extra dollars over the cheaper quality rubberized weights out there.

First time buying and using a super curl bar. Synergee has done a fantastic job with execution here. The angles allow for a deeper skull crusher and have taken a ton of stress off my wrist from barbell accessories.

On top of that the coatings and overall quality is awesome. I’ve never bought from Synergee before and this earned returning business from me. I also hate writing reviews but I’m kinda a bar snob and this impressed me.

Especially at the price.

As with most things online these days, I saw some skeptical reviews of this bar but figured I’d give it a shot. I have to say, for the price, it’s a really solid bar and a great addition to my home gym.

Craftsmanship is on point, a few scuffs and scratches but nothing short of what I expected for a steel bar, this was the case even with some of the more expensive bars I own, I’ve accepted that’s how it is when working with steel.

The bar size is good and meets what’s advertised online, the super curl angle is a little narrow for my liking personally, but it came as advertised. Overall, good bar, I will likely order more bars from Synergee in the future.

This bar is the best feeling EZ Curl bar I’ve ever used. The curl angle is not extreme, and it feels extremely comfortable on your wrists especially when doing reverse curls. The bar feels solid and is high quality.

It’s a thicker bar which also feels better to hold and likely builds more grip strength than a typical skinny EZ Curl bar you would find elsewhere. Even the knurling feels next level. Very impressed and price is amazing for quality of this bar.

The product looks great, and the bar and weight plates are of great quality and build. The assembly was a bit haphazard and the base for each of the weight plate sets is a brittle-feel plastic, but so far there have been no issues in short-term use.

To properly seat the plates for the dial to work in picking them up, the bases, which slide into place and are tightened down after setting and removing the plates at assembly (which can cause movement in the bases) must be tightened down at precise increments or there will be occasional failures to properly seat the bar.

In all, this still precludes the user from needing to load plates manually and it’s a sleek product. I will warn, however, that one should check the bar measurements as this bar will not fit on a standard bench.

While the product video showcases a male performing bench presses, he must be doing so with a self-carried bar or with a spotter. To attempt to stage a bench press with any real weight by oneself without a cradle or a spotter is highly unsafe.

This product is best used from the floor or the proprietary stand (sold separately at an astronomical price). I would recommend this product for use as I use it, in a home gym and as a fantastic partner to the SelectTech Dumbbell system.

The inclusion of both the easy curl bar and the straight bar is a great value, as is the ability to upgrade weight in future with the same product.

I can’t believe i only now found this. I have the select tech dumbbells which i use almost every day for the past 5 years. The build quality on the dumbbells is top notch. I’ve been wanting to purchase a barbell/curl bar for years, but with limited space available in our apartment, I thought it would never be possible.

Until this, I can’t believe it took Bowflex this long to come up with the idea of using the same concept on barbells/Dumbbells. Anyway, the set is great, selecting the amount of weight you want is simple, just turn the dial.

Swapping out the different bars is easy enough. It will take some time to get use to placing the bar down on weight holder. You can’t just slam it down, you place it down. Once you hear a small click, you know it’s in correctly and you can turn the dial to select more or less weights.

You have to read the directions carefully, it took me about an hour or so to get everything screwed in correctly and the weights set properly on the weight holder. At first, the bar was not seating correctly so i couldn’t select the weights.

I realized i didn’t push the weight plates all the way back against the back part of the weight holder. It was a little confusing, but once i read the directions a few times, it clicked and made sense.

The bar itself is fine enough. But the spin locks don’t actually thread on all the way. Luckily I had some old ones that fit and worked so I’m not returning the bar. But buyer beware.

Purchased a few weeks ago and have been using it regularly. The build quality on mine was good, had adequate texture to assist your grip (I do use gloves), and a mild curve for wrist comfort. A bit pricey, but overall seems pretty good.

This bar is great quality and versatile for small home gyms. Bought this after returning a lesser quality bar to another store. Much happier.

Product is great. Didn’t put it together for a month, then realized it was missing half the weight stack. Emailed CO and within a week they had a replacement weight stack sent. Great product, even better customer service!.

Very convinient on changing weights, I loved it, practical easy to use. They are easy to change, with each turn giving you a nice satisfying ratchet/clicking sound. The range of weights are just perfect and are within the range I mostly lift at the gym, very easy to use and adjust.

This was a gift from my wife and it is very well made. It’s a complete package for us to start our gym at home. You can’t get better for this price with these high quality equipments.

The weights themselves are fine, the rubber coating provides excellent traction to hold them and prevents the annoying loud clanging of metal weights. The real problem is with the smell of the rubber coating.

I have left these weights outdoors for a month now and I still can’t bring them indoors, because of the strong smell. It smells awful and I would’ve thought it’d have dissipated after all this time outdoors, in the rain and elements.

But no. Let’s see how they do after another month outside.

XMark is an excellent brand. I have several XMark components and can attest to the quality. I like the ability to purchase specific weight packages often priced at a discount to the individual weights purchase.

The weights are rubber coated which increases safety and avoids beating up my floors. I continue to build my personal gym by slowly purchasing quality.

I’ve read all sorts of things others didn’t like about these plates and it just amazes me how critical some of them are. Yes, they have an odor when new, air them out. Yes, they have a film coating that may come off onto your hands, wash this protective film off.

BUT, THEY WORK! No clanking when moving them around or placing them on the bar. Easy to grip and easy on the floor! And for what they have been manufactured for, they WORK just fine! But this is just my opinion.

VERY happy with this bar. Arrived without any damage. It was well packaged. Ends rotate freely and smooth. I have NO complaints about this bar. Compared to other bars I think this is a GREAT value for the money.

My bar came with two clamps to hold the weights on. The clamps work fine. I HIGHLY recommend this bar. You simply can’t beat this bar at this price point.

This here its self is 45 lbs and and it’s freakin awesome to do chest, walk with it behind your head doing lunges and squats and all kinds of things! It totally met my expectations and I recommend to EVERYONE! It was a little more than what I would’ve liked to pay for it but it was totally worth it.

Curvature looks pretty extreme in picture but once you get it, it is perfect. Glad I got this instead of those other regular ez curl bars. End are smooth and no squeaking. Get this bar. I would totally recommend it.

Although I was really interested in buying a set of Signature series Xmark plates, these were more than a good enough substitution. Rebuilding a new home weight unit by pieces is tough but enjoyable.

Solid quality plates and rubber coating means longer life. Pleased to recommend item for interested home gym users.

These are extremely high quality plates! I got them for my boyfriend for Christmas and ended up giving it to him early because the boxes were heavy. Lol. He loves them! I also bought him the XMark EZ Curl Olympic Curl Bar.

They work wonderfully together and he is in love with his gift!!.

I was disappointed that this curl bar was hollow. It never crossed my mind that any type of barbell would be hollow. I already own a standard ez curl bar, which is solid metal and expected the same. In spite of the hollow issue, however, I luckily had only planned on using this curl bar for light exercise of no more than 100 lbs.

anyway. This bar can handle 100 lbs without problems so overall it meets most of my expectations. The bar has a second difference from my previous ez curl bar. The length of the bar where you grip it is two full inches less and the bends in the bar are different.

This changes the feel and balance of the bar. I can only find normal balance for myself at the widest grip points with this short hollow bar. Nonetheless for the money, as long as you plan on using this just for light exercise, like me, then this bar along with the accompanying adjustable dumbbells will do the job at a very reasonable cost.

If you like to exercise with heavy weights then this bar probably is not a good choice.

The bar and dumbbells are mostly Okay, very light and they have flimsy plastic caps on the end. I had an issue with one end of the EZ Curl bar and a dumbbell, where the Olympic weights I was using did not fit on the bar.

It turn out the end of the bars were slightly misshapen (due to bad welding?). I called customer service and was referred to Marcy themselves. When I called Marcy I was referred back to Academy so I gave up at that point.

I ended up just bending the end of the bar using a vice grip to make the weights fit. 2 stars, prepare for possible manufacturing defects before you can actually use them.

For your money, you get what you pay for. Dumbbells are long and hard to do certain full extensions without them touching each other. They will hold weight but it’s just doesn’t feel like a dumbbell should.

As for the curl bar. It’s half my fault for not reading the about the item close enough. I seen Olympic curl bar and assumed it would be weighted as Olympic. It’s extremely light. It does hold weight and not bend.

Grip is decent just main disappointment is the weight. Feels cheap. Though has not bent or anything after use. I am going to return and order a different curl bar and a set of dumbbells. This can get you started if trying to save money but if you been in a gym it’s hard because of so many small exercises that you can’t do with these.

Great for this fabulous compound exercise that works most of the upper body——Lay down on a flat bench with no posts or supports back of your head. do 12 bent arm pullovers with a 3-4 inch grip going as far as comfortable over your head in an arc return to the chest and repeat.

When you have finished 12 of them immediately do 12 bench presses immediately with the same grip do 6 bent arm pullovers immediately do 6 bench presses with the same 3 -4 inch grip. Do two sets. suggestion do not use too much weight to start and this is a very difficult but very intense exercise for the triceps.

lats are also worked well as are pecs. give this compound exercise a try.

I was expecting a single bar and found the delivery to be a broken down version of a curl bar. I was a bit disappointed until I opened the box and twisted this bar together. I was astounded by the tight precision fit of the joints, the strength and power of surety that the bar presented, and the brilliant chrome finish on the bar and the treads.

The bar is of good quality but the weight locks do not stay locked well. Must fix them every time the bar is used. They loosen too quickly. The included weights are the plastic,sand filled variety and,as such, aren’t the best choice for durability.

The bar itself, will definitely get the job done and help with your workouts. Substitute the plastic weights and locks and you would have a nice,durable setup.

This bar is of decent quality. The piece that holds the weight s on the bar does need to be tightened nearly each tine it’s used. The funky part for me is piece that holds the main bar together. It moves slightly during each lift of the weight.

I just hope it doesn’t come apart while being used. Thus far it works well.

Overall great bar. Getting some good accessory work in with bicep, tricep, and forearms now. Pretty mild knurl which is standard on a curl bar. Had a problem with the bar they originally sent out and received great customer service.

Sent a picture of the damage which probably happened during shipping and titan sent another bar no questions asked.

Not a good curl bar. Diameter of bar is too small. The angle of the bends in the bar are not angled enough and it’s too close. It basically hurts my hands because the circumference of the bar is too skinny a d the distance between the bends is too small.

Also, where the angles of the bends fall doesn’t work for me and I don’t have a comfortable hand placement. It’s cheaply made. And there is barely enough room on the ends to place weights.

I ordered early in January so was getting anxious by the end of February. It was a back ordered and popular item so some patience is needed. I expected it by the in stock window date which changed at least twice.

They came in and I have it now. Arrived in perfect shape. These EZ bars are great quality and priced right. In fact they are very competitively priced and outstanding. Now I am just waiting for my 80 lb to get in stock.

By that point I’m sure I will add a 90 lb. Order the whole set if you have room and the need you’ll save.

I like that you can stand these barbells up. Don’t take up a lot of space. Use this for multiple exercises. I like doing shoulder shrugs with this bell. From the standing position grab the bar with weight pressing against back of forearm and pull.

Very convenient way to do shrugs.

this is a great piece of equipment. it gets used in every workout for my and my fiancé. the weight mechanism is clever and easy to use. two different bar types and up to 80lbs is a no brainer !

Since WFH started and it became more like ‘work 24X7’, sedentary lifestyle started taking its toll. With the uncertainty around commercial gyms, I placed my get on putting together a home gym. Started off with the 50KG weight kit from Decathlon, then a bench, then a cross trainer and so on.

Eventually, this curl bar is my latest addition. The weight and the feel of this bar are amazing. Fits perfectly in the 28mm bore of the plates I purchased earlier. I’d highly recommend this product.

Decathlon needs to stop using their ridiculous sticker labels. Every equipment I got from them has labels that leave a sticky residue behind. Products that you buy from their click and collect are the worst because they stick an entire sticker over the tip of the bar that refuses to come out!! Took me over an hour just to scratch off the entire sticker along with the sticky residue.

Bought this to reduce strain on wrists during inverse curls but the strain on the wrists is still there. Possibly need to reduce loading too much especially on my left (weaker) side. (I tend to push/test my limits).

Taking a break from inverse curls for now till wrist pain goes away.

Very nice bar in use. Quality meets the price point, which means it is pretty good. However, this is a specialty bar and doesn’t get the same use as your primary bars. Five stars could be attained when the next version comes out.

This version would have to have a little more width between the sleeves to fit the rack better. Works fine on pipe and pin set up, but very tight on J Hooks. In fact it doesn’t fit on an older rack that I have because it is slightly wider.

Other than that, it is a nice piece.

If you’ve been around a gym for any period of time, do you know that not all curl bars are the same. Many have different angles/leverages. some feel great in your hands and some belong in the trash. I have had six over the years, and this is by far the best.

It’s comfortable in my hands, and easy on the wrists. It may be a curl bar, but I use it 90+% of the time for Triceps. Will it hold 400 pounds as described? Idk, but it has no problem with 275lb JM Presses.

The finish is acceptable. Things I’d change: – I’d have the knurling extend all the way to the center of the bar. – I’d make the knurling much more aggressive. I recommend and would buy again.

Fast shipping, well packaged. Overall very good quality bar. The design has three angled handles or grip areas, which spreads out the grip width a little too far for comfort. Not sure if the inside angles are intended for use, but I use them for tricep extensions, and they could be knurled like the outside grip areas.

If the angles were closer like a standard E-Z curl bar, the bar would be perfect and 5/5 rating.

Just got this in the mail. Opened it up and immediately weighed it. It weighs 19. 4lbs. Wish it was an even 20, or ideally 25 but it’s close enough to 20. Bought a different one on here and returned it cause it claimed 25lbs and weighed in at 17.

6 or something like that. Repped out a few with just the empty bar and it feels really nice. Good stippling on the bar for a nice grip, nice thickness. Lookin forward to using it this week at the gym so I can quit using a straight bar and screwin up my wrists.

4/5 stars just because it’s not an even 20lbs but i guess if you add clips to it to hold weights, it’d potentially be an even 20 but it didnt come with any and I don’t have them at the house to verify.

Looks like a very well made product. Knurling is not too aggressive but definitely prevents slipping. Chrome finish looks really nice but I don’t anticipate it sticking around as I’ve used the bar once and am starting to see scuffs on the chrome finish.

But the bearings on the weight sleeves are nice so far. Spins smoothly but with a little resistance so it doesn’t just keep spinning indefinitely. A little short but as advertised and sufficient for the amount of weight I use.
