20 Best Work Shoes For Servers (2023 Updated)

I bought these to work a catering event that required skid free dress shoes. Price wise they seemed great. Real leather, non skid, gel lining, seemed like they were made just for the occasion I needed them for.

They ended up being very disappointing though and I knew I’d never be able to work in them. They’re too flat, the gel layer is very thin and after one day couldn’t even feel it any more. They’re also tight around the top of my feet.

I tried wearing them to break them in before the night, but no luck. They are leather though, so I’m still trying to make them work. Hoping the elastic on the top will stretch enough to stop hurting and also be able to fit my own inserts in.

i never go out of my way to write reviews, but i love these too much NOT to leave an amazing review. these are such a cute alternative to the doctors office clunky rubber clog work shoe that iw as scared i would have to get; they look like leather toms and i get so many compliments not hem.

not only do they fit perfectly, but they keep their shape over time and even maintain the fluffiness of the memory foam inserts (there are 2 for added support and customizable fit). aside from that aspect, THESE ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES.

if you work in retail or the like, you know the end of the day pain that makes you want to chop your legs off. i never thought i would find a pair of shoes that i was able to stand for 8+ hours in, but thee have answered all of my prayers.

Ive had them for about 6 months now and literally the only complaint i have is that these suckers trap foot smell in like no other, so definitely invest in some no show socks, and keep rubbing alcohol and baking powder on hand to freshen them up every couple weeks.

for 30$, Ill probably get a couple more pairs because i wear them so often and my feet can’t imagine another 8 hour shift without them. seriously. buy them.

I love these shoes!!!! This is my second pair. I had the first pair a full year. They didn’t even look that bad after that long waiting tables 4-5 days a week. The shoes held up great. Comfort level is definitely high on the scale.

If comfort is the only feature you are seeking, an actual non-slip sneaker would probably be a bit more comfortable for long days. I was looking for a more sleek and streamlined design. I wear skirts to work fairly often and wanted something that could be dressed up a little or go with Capri length pants as well.

These shoes fit the bill perfectly. A fabulous value at only $35.

I bought a few arch fit shoes/sneakers and I have others but these by far are the most comfortable. I have feet problems and can’t find good shoes to fit a skinny ankle with wide toes and low arch from pronation.

The tops of my feet are also high. not sure what that is called. My feet hurt very bad in anything but good sneakers or arch fits. These are good b/c they are fully breathable stretch material on top.

This allows alot of form fitting around my weird-shaped feet. I have weak ankles but do not find these feeling unsupportive which was a concern prior to buying. These have the most supportive arch of all the sketchers I have, some of them also being arch fits.

The foam in these just feels better and more arched. Also very lightweight! Of course I wish I could wear nice stylish heels but that’s not reality if I don’t want to be in pain all day. These are the most stylish, comfortable sneaker-feeling type shoe I could find.

The navy color that I purchased for myself in a 7 1/2 is pretty, but feels too big. It looks a little bit longer and feels looser across the top than my other 7 1/2 Skechers. I don’t know if it’s just the way they are made.

They don’t come up around my foot and closer to my ankle like the other Skechers and other walking shoes I have. Way too much of my white footies show outside of the navy shoe. Maybe these are not walking shoes, and not meant to be worn with footies.

? I bought a size 6 in white for my Mom who normally wears 6’s comfortably loose, and hers are a little snug. But they look fine with the white footies since they are also white. The shoes actually look good.

As far as the colors – Of course white always looks good, and the navy is a nice medium-dark navy (it looks blue, and not black). But the white seems to run 1/2 size too small, and the navy seems to run 1/2 size too big.

These would be much better to purchase if you could try them on in a store before purchasing. I’ll be sending the navy ones back.

I would normally give any GoWall 5 stars. I wear nothing but Sketchers GoWalk. boots included. However I was thinking that these weren’t made of a stretchy marerial. I had to sit at my desk for 3 days with thick socks on being uncomfortable to see if they would stretch before I decided to keep them.

I don’t have a wide foot and even ordered 1/2 size up to accommodate thicker socks yet they were SO tight with the thin Sketchers liner socks. Luckily they stretched but it took few days of being uncomfortable.

Now that that are stretched and my foot isn’t squashed they are GREAT. The Arch Fit is much more comfortable than regular Go Walks. I would still recommend these just with a slight warning. I would tell Sketchers to make this out of your typical elastic material that stretches and hugs your foot like all my others.

I use these for work as a waiter. I’ve only had them a month, but they are comfy, fashionable, and I really can tell a difference with the slip-resistant soles when the kitchen floor is wet. Definitely better than my old shoes and would recommend.

Hopefully they will hold up for a while.

Brought these for back to work shoes. I’m on my feet pretty much all day, so I thought I’d invest. They an okay work shoe, they definitely aren’t the comfiest shoe as my feet we’re killing me after a shift.

They’re definitely slip resistant as I had to walk through an oil spill. But they’re hard to clean. either way their okay for the price.

I actually use them as slippers at home, I love how they feel. Worked with them for a bit too, good for shotr shifts. If your shifts arent too long I would recommend these, however if youre standing for long long hours Id advice birckenstocks.

I needed non-slip leather shoes for work and have worn out 3 comfortable pairs of non-slip leather sketchers. These shoes are the correct length for my foot, however, the toes are too pointy and for some reason, they have caused me so much pain in my feet and the back of my heels that I can barely walk.

Also, after only 2 months of (agonising) wearing, all the so-called leather upper is peeling off. I am so disappointed with these shoes.

At first I loved these shoes. The fit is great. The leather top is excellent, but then the slip test failed miserably. I bought these for that very reason. A regular pair of running shoes would have had a better sole.

If you are buying this shoe for comfort buy it. But if you want to prevent falls stear clear.

Bought my slip resistant runners about 2 weeks ago. Wasn’t sure if the sizing would be accurate, but they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable. I’m on my feet all day, except for breaks. I wear them in a busy kitchen and dishroom.

Sometimes there is water on the floor in the dishroom. I haven’t had an issue feeling like the floor is slippery at all since I started wearing them. I deffinently recommend these shoes.

I bought these work shoes for my son for his birthday. He specifically wanted a pair of slip-ons. He was immediately very pleased with the fit and after his first week (usually the least comfortable for a new pair of shoes) he reported that they were pretty comfortable and ventilated well.

While I didn’t believe these to be the most attractive shoe available – they did have some excellent features and safety rating. He is on his feet all day in a supermarket deli and his duties do include frequent trips to the cooler (where the floor is often wet).

They provide him with good, no slip traction. Based on his feedback – these were definitely the best choice.

I hope one day there will a podcast about how Skechers conned half the world into thinking these shoes are practical; they may be comfortable, but that’s it. I sound like a 18-month old in diapers swishing around the place, and whenever I walk into one too many puddles, my socks are soaked.

But I had to buy something, I had just returned a pair of shoes, and could only receive store credit. The rude clerks would not return my money.

I have purchased these more than once for work, as I stand over 6 hours on average. They are very comfortable. The downside is that after 3 months or so the memory foam insoles need to be replaced. DSW’s pricing has risen on them consistently over the past few years to the point that they don’t warrant $80/pair.

Especially when adding the cost of replacing the insoles as well!.

The box says “Memory Foam” in big letters but these shoes are so incredibly stiff. I’ll have to see if they break in more with further use, but even before putting them on, the in-soles feel really hard.

Not what I was expecting. I’ll have to get in-soles to put in them, which is annoying. As far as I can tell, they’re slip resistant. However, I do not work in an extremely wet environment so your mileage may vary.

Overall, I would splurge to get a better pair of shoes.

I always get tired of walking very fast and a long walk is something I never liked. I bought this one before a trip with really a bunch of walk planned, and I can’t overstate my satisfaction. Not a little pain, not a little tired knee or anything.

It’s maid for a human foot, compared to most other shoes which are maid to be nice but not necessarily to put in on a human. Nice furniture. But this one is great. Yesterday my wife wanted to go for a walk and I didn’t wanna say no, so I put on this sneakers and all the tiredness are out the window.

I enjoyed every minute of the walk. It’s a shoe everyone should always ware!.

I’ve had and loved the Docs. shoes in the past, but not this time. Bought size 12 EW and they are more like 11 Narrow. I had a hard time getting my feet in them and then tried but could not walk in them.

I’ll be donating these to charity.

THESE ARE SOFT TOES. A LITTLE GETTING USED TOO. A TIGHT FIT. SHOE HORN NEEDED TO GET ON AT FIRST, THEN THEY STRETCHED OUT. NO SLOPPY FIT. SUPERIOR ARCH AND FOOT SUPPORTIVE, THAT WHAT SEEMED TO BE GETTING USED TO, FROM MY ILL FITTING WORN OUT OLD SLIP ON’S.

A SUPERIOR SHOE. FEEL VERY DURABLE. THOROGOOD SHOULD MAKE THESE IN BROWN VERSUS ONLY BLACK. THEY’D SELL MORE.

My husband swore by S. W. A. T. shoes but recently found out they discontinued the shoe that he always ordered. So when he was down to his last pair, I did some research and found these that look and sounded very similar to his favorite ones.

They are not as soft on the insole, and he has trouble sometimes with the heal pads folding down but other than that he really likes them and would definitely purchase another pair.

I find the quality , looks and comfort to be very good. The only complaint that I have is that the left shoe squeaks when I walk on a smooth surface. They are breaking in nicely as well. I will try to put some oil / leather treatment to stop the squeaking.

This was my go to pair of shoes for work. I am only at work 4-8 hours per day and a mix of sitting and standing. With that being said, I have had these less than a year and they are about to go in the trash.

I only wear these at work and never outside. They are not used and abused. The heel of the shoe is completely broken down and you can tell the sole it about to give out. I take very good care of these shoes because I loved them and they were what I needed for work.

I just wish they would be a little more durable for the price you pay.

The sketchers r perfect for my job. My feet love them as im on my feet 12 hours a day. Im very happy with this purchase.
