20 Best Work Out Machine For Belly Fat (2023 Updated)

I have long owned a full sized Bullworker which I would use periodically. I recently have revamped how I work out to be more joint friendly so as a result I’m using other methods. Adding the Steel Bow to my pgm has already shown promise in the short time I’ve had it.

Between the Steel Bow, my full sized Bullworker and Power twisters, I’m getting a workout that rivals anything I had previously done in the gym with weights. The Steel Bow adds quite bit of versatility to the workout due to the range of motion and varied resistance, I already love it and feel that it will be extremely beneficial going forward.

I kind of thought the price was a bit high but when you get something that’s effective, the thought of cost tends to change.

Good not only for older people but everyone. Have had a older version since my teens, and I’m in my early 60’s. My grandson wanted my older one so I bought this one for myself. This should last me until I die which I hope isn’t very soon!.

Amazing product that really needs more publicity. I love what it can do, and what it has done! The Bullworker has definitely been upgraded.

Delivered in time as promised. Product was well packaged and when actually seeing how many individual parts there are to assemble, it can seem a daunting task. Fear not, instructions are very clear, parts are packaged separately for each step and labelled step 1, step 2, etc.

You will need to allocate around 6 hours, and don’t rush ahead, step by step. One piece of advice, there are some clearer assembly diagrams at the back of the book for the more detailed parts. This is a seriously well built and well designed piece of kit and the assembly instructions for something built from so many parts are a credit to Body-Solid.

Can’t recommend Fitness Superstore and this gym highly enough, you won’t be disappointed. Lastly, a special shout out for Karl who we dealt with.

I currently own one of these. The correct Model name is the Body Solid exm 1550 LPS. This model has been discontinued now, but there are some wonderful bargains on these in used condition, out there, now.

Previously I owned a Body Solid exm 3000 LPS. This one ( the 1550 ) is a little more limited in its stations compared to the 3000, but it has some great features like that Biangular arm Chest Press Shoulder station, that is wonderful very natural in its movement, giving you 25% more work on your arms and shoulders for the same movement as on the conventional arm press stations.

To me the seated Leg Extension feels easier on the legs than the same station on the exm 3000, which is slightly different in its engineering and construction. The Leg Press station is a very smooth station, and did you know that by using the lower part of the pedals with your toes and the balls of your feet you are doing a Toe Raise? The machine is very easy to use, very smooth and quiet in its operation, I suggest oiling it about once a month.

It is simple and effective, easy to get in and out of, doesn’t take up a lot of room, looks attractive and has about 20 exercise movements you can do on it. I am very happy with mine! Sorry that I can’t add photos at this time.

I purchased the G1S on Sam’s Club’s website after looking at several other home gyms on other sites. The G1S is made by Body Solid, so I went onto their website and was very impressed by the quality of the equipment they had to offer, they make commercial work out equipment, as well as home gyms and accessories.

The gym arrived in several boxes on a pallet via ups freight about 10 days after ordering. (the driver had a pallet jack and was able to wheel it right into my garage) Everything was packed very well and the quality of the parts was impressive, mostly high quality steel, the only plastic I can think of are the caps that snap into the holes at the ends of the steel square tubes that make up the frame.

The seat, backrest and tubular cushions for your legs are very good quality. The instructions were very clear and everything fit together nice and tight. It took about 8 hours to assemble but was very much worth the effort, it was actually kind of fun.

The fasteners are separated in small bags and labeled for each step. Allen wrenches are provided, however, I would recommend having a rubber mallet for the end caps, a socket set for the nuts and bolts and a tape measure for the cables, as there are 4 cables of different lengths and you will need to install them in the correct order.

Just take your time and use a little common sense and it will all come together just fine. When I completed the assembly there were no parts left over. HINT: You will need to fine adjust the cable tension in 1 of 3 ways as described in the instructions.

There is a double pulley with 4 bolt holes on each end, I installed the bolts in the 2nd hole from the end on both ends of the pulley and the tension was perfect. (you will understand what I mean when you get there) The machine is awesome and I can tell it will last a lifetime.

I LOVE IT !!! One more thing, one of the tubular leg cushions was slightly deformed (nothing big) and I was a little tired and installed the weight #’s that label the steel weight plates backwards (160lbs to 10lbs instead of the other way around) Duh!!! I called Body Solid customer service and they sent new ones with no questions asked.

This was a fantastic deal. Havent done sissy squats before and now with this machine Im doing them every leg workout is after my squats. Great addition to my home gym. I hold a 45 pound plate across my chest and go deep.

Great burn after doing squats and no stress on my knees. Also very comfortable on the shins. Highly recommend.

I was able to commence assembly straight away. The Powerline functional trainer meets all my needs and more. It replaced my old quad cable machine that I had for 20 plus years and I’m sure with the quality of my new machine it will last just as long.

The cables run smooth, the weight stack is more than enough and the pull up bar is solid when doing chins or hanging leg raises. Easy to put together by yourself if you have a background in exercise equipment, it takes about 3 hours for one person, but would recommend two people if available.

Instructions are easy to follow.

Very good quality. I don’t know why this item is not at popular as the wheel which is almost impossible to do. unless you are a seasoned workout person. This is the perfect stepping stone before you are able to work with the wheel.

This item is also good if you have a bad lower back like I do. That is another reason why the wheel is almost impossible for me. I would definitely recommend this Abdolly.

granted I only used it once, i didn’t feel enough burn. Don’t think I ever will. I’m 32 not fit, but athletic. I do think this is the perfect equipment for beginners, obese, and old people. assembly takes seconds, just force the wheels in, done! comes with a video, it’s about 7 mine.

U’ll only watch it once.

This redesigned AB Dolly is the 3rd one I have owned. The first two were the original design with the weak wheel well assembly which would break after many hours of use. The new design, while much sturdier is not nearly as comfortable to use.

The elongated curved snout is uncomfortable to hold onto and the side loops rub against elbows when using. The older design with the mounted handles and small lips for the elbows was MUCH more comfortable.

Other than that this is a good workout item.

I’d had the basic Weider model several years ago and loved it; got a lot of use out of it since at the time I was body building, and used it whenever I couldn’t made it to the gym. I couldn’t take it with me when I moved, so, I was excited to purchase this updated version.

I’m so disappointed. I think I got a defective machine. It will absolutely not budge. My fiance and I are not weaklings and we spent over two hours one evening trying to unlock it to extend it, to no avail.

We Googled, and found that many people struggle with getting it unlocked. Ok, fair enough – it’s very solidly built, more so than my previous one. So, then we YouTubed instructions for how to unlock it.

Nothing worked and we think it’s because we can’t find/see any holes in the tubing that it supposed to extend it. Ours appears to be welded entirely together. Completely fused. I bought it right before the holidays and it has been standing upright in my closet since.

The only reason I haven’t returned it yet is because, well, the holidays happened and I was overseas for a good portion of that. It’s on my to-do list to get this thing back to WalMart and returned to sender.

Really sad it didn’t work out this time and it was such a hassle that I don’t think I want another (plus, we’ve been going to the gym just fine and no longer feel a need for one). *sigh*.

Had a total gym which developed problems about a year in with the rollers on the bench. replaced them and had problems about a year in. replaced them had. you get the picture. the rollers on this machine seem much firmer and I’m hopeful will last a few years at least.

I use the machine twice daily for stretching and flexibility more than building up muscle. I have it set to the highest setting and with the bands it is a great workout. Don’t need (or want) more than 20 minutes per workout to get what I need.

as with any device made for the masses there are things I’ll never use and things I wish it had but the way it comes is just fine for my purposes.

My fiance had been wanting a weight bench with various dumbells but could not find a set that was good quality, came with everything he wanted and for a good price. I came across this piece of equipment while doing a google search and thought this is exactly what we need.

I bought it for him for Christmas, it arrived quickly and although quite heavy, I was able to wrap it and put it next to the tree! My fiance was able to put this together quickly, by himself. He loves it! You for sure get a complete, full body workout every time.

The addition of the resistance bands is a great feature. It’s comfortable and easy to use and does not really take up too much room. Putting a rug or matt under it if you have hardwoods floors is recommended as it scoots slowly across the floor as we use it.

The only thing this did not come with, that would have made it a 5 star is a chart to show you all the ways you can use this machine. I have been trying to download one to print online but the pictures are so small it’s impossible to read.

I did see another review where the person found youtube videos of the machine being used and just printed screenshots of the exercises and made his own chart.

The purchase was a good buy. The instructions were very clear and easy to put together. The machine works like a charm. You really feel the muscles working when you’re crunching. The only con that I have is that the machine didn’t come with the outer shell for where you put the weights on at as advertised online and in the instructions.

If I can get those (2) items, that would be awesome.

Got machine, had 11 year old son assemble it in an hour. I’m 6’3” tall. I was expecting something a bit bigger. I look like a giant in a kids toy when I squeeze into it. To be fair, I can use it. JUST BARELY.

Make one for us big guys!.

Had back pain for years and have bought mostly all of the gadgets out there. None worked like this. The first day I used it, that night while sleeping I have a drop in the lower back pain dramatically which I get every night sleeping.

I get my pain when I stay seated or laying down. This really works the core while your sitting, not laying on the floor or riding in an uncomfortable seat. Well made. I recommend you get the roller bar attachment for the back (6 rollers).

It comes already with one single one. (2 rollers) I ‘m going to use it every morning when I wake up (5-10 min) and when I go to bed each night. Try it, you’ll love it. I’m getting another one for my Mom.

Low Impact!! Safe for elderly to get into stretching which is so important for all of us!.

Purchased a few weeks ago, was expecting a sturdier product but it’s effective. Very loose, so you really need to put your back and abs/core in gear to control movement. I will continue to use and get stronger.

Only complaint, the CD tutorials are short and limited to 3 levels- more like 3 varying speeds of the same workout. I keep stopping the video to complete another 30 seconds, or minute of any particular movement.

Does not feel like a thorough ‘class’ with even time given for equal movement on each side.

the exercise machine is sturdy, versatile, and comes with great exercise videos. it is easy to assemble, and to my surprise, it fits behind my computer, so while working I can take mini breaks and just do a little ab-doer exercise.

I am very happy.

The solidity of this little bench exceeded my expectations. A big step above the quality of home-fitness equipment, but with the highly efficient space-saving qualities you want for a tiny home gym. This bench also exceeds the utility advertised for it.

With dumbbells, it provides a bench for chest presses and flies and for reverse back flies (just remove the foam roller frame to give your head room). Assuming somewhat of a squatting position for presses is perfectly comfortable for me @ 5′ 11”.

I’ve been using this for about a month and I am continually impressed by the solid build of the equipment. I also like the flexibility in doing different exercises and folding up for easy storage. Highly recommended!.

1. Cannot get bench seat into a horizontal position; it starts out only in a 30 degree slant with further declines from that point. 2. The bench seat is much too small for my body size; I am 6’2” and hang uncomfortably off the end.

If I knew it had no horizontal setting and that the bench was only 22″ in length [way too short], I would not have purchased it; neither of these were stated in the Specs.

I had tried a vertical power plate before and really felt no changes, so when it died, I did not feel the need to buy another one. Lately I’ve seen a lot of talk about these, but the oscillating ones, for weightloss.

So I decided to give it a try, but this was the best one I could afford. I use it mondays, wednesdays, and fridays. It is very important to give your body a day of rest between workouts. Many don’t lose weight because they overlook this important factor.

The first week, I had to lie down after using the machine, because my legs felt like jelly. I could barely last the ten minutes on Program 1. I realized I may have been using too little power on the vertical one and that is why I saw no results.

The program progresses from very low to fairly high levels in 10 minutes, so your legs work really hard. After a week, my legs are noticeably firmer, stronger, and my metabolism is faster. I know because I never sweat and I am now sweating.

I have not weighed myself because it will only show weight gain due to increased bone density and muscle gain. I have yet to check my measurements to see any changes. My clothes feel loose. My lymph is also draining fast.

I can tell because lymph nodes hurt less when I am on the machine than they did at first, especially theones on the inside part of the knee. I am expecting great changes moving forward. On my off days I do arms with a 10 minute YouTube video for dancer arms.

I feel amazing, stronger than I ever have. Thank God someone has created this. It is a life changing experience for those of us who needed help.

I LOVE this vibrating platform. Being a senior I need to be careful with the equipment I use. I have tried several but this one is the best by far!! I get the movement I want and it is still ”low impact” with super great results.

It also gets to every muscle so I know my blood is really circulating. I have used it every day for at least 10 minutes and already I feel some real benefits. I have less pain (some days NO PAIN) and can now walk longer then I have in many months.

Can’t wait to see the results after a month.

Very sturdy, solid machine. It is super quiet, my cats lay right next to it when I’m using it. I love the automatic shut off after 10 minutes, and the speeds are exceptional. It make my whole body feel the awesome during and after the workout.

The welds and the machine are of excellent quality! However you have to construct it first to get to this point! You are given 2 sided instructions with a diagram that has over 50 things to do on the first pg.

There are 13-14 pages! And get this: you get all of the nuts, bolts, and washers in ONE bag, thrown together, no labeling! You have to spend an hr separating, measuring, and labeling them before starting! Have a measuring tape handy!!! If you don’t do this step first, then you will regret it! It does take 2 people to assemble, especially the overhead beam.

I wouldn’t recommend doing that part by yourself. You will have to infer and extrapolate at times! I do not recommend putting the pulleys in the upright or overhead pieces until you are ready to put in the wires.

Why? You will just have to take them out to do so even though it has you putting them in very early in the process. Don’t despair if you didn’t get something right, it’s easy to go back and fix it after cussing.

Once assembled it looks great and is an awesome machine. It would be great if it gave lubricating instructions! I could use those. Such as which parts to lubricate. Now that it’s assembled you will need to play with the seating positions to get the best workout for your height and build.

Did I mention it looks fabulous and is very solid! Oh and you will hit your head during assembly, numerous times. Avoid this if you can!.

Love the quality. The gym is great. The operation and installation is poor unexperience tech not familiar with equipment. Pully systems have to much resistance. And other things he did wrong. I’m very disappointed 😞.

I think This is a good machine. Once constructed, it functions as advertised. However, I think they should do a better job on labeling the nuts, bolts and screws. Way too many to many to sort. Some being quarter to a half inch difference, we had to measure.

I coulda dome something wrong, but one sides cable is off a half an inch. Everything works but one side is ever so slightly dragging somewhere and will not pu the last weight. Cant figured out why. Not sure how to approach tech support on this.

I would buy this again. It a great set for the money. Does just about everything! However, because of the problems putting this together, I would look a little harder to purchase something local and pay for the assembly.

I bought this a 5 years ago. It took 8 hours to put together with the crude instructions. I don’t know if they changed them, but man… it was not step by step. It was literally a bunch of pictures with the quantity of that specific part.

After it was completed it was almost as if it needed grease on the pulley system and the support bars for that holds the Olympic bar in place. They seemed to take a lot of extra effort to move when using either.

In short. I sold it and put it together for the new owner. It seemed to work smoother after putting it back together for the new owner. I would just buy a more expensive one next time to try my luck… and no pulleys.

For the price it’s a great home gym that lets you do pretty much everything you could want. I’ve been lifting as my main hobby for over 10 years now and got this to replace my old cage that was finally on its last leg.

I love the extra options this has, the butterfly, dual top cables, good low pully; for what you get it’s a great machine. For anyone curious, it took me about 4-5 hours start to finish to put it together by myself, not too bad and it was easy enough.

Waited a few weeks to review to get a feel for the trainer. I can easily say besides our squat rack that this is the best home gym purchase we’ve made. Great packaging, zero product damage upon delivery, fairly simple assembly (less than 2 hours for one person as let’s be honest the instructions could be a little better), free shipping, great quality and build, and adds so much variety to our garage gym.

Being over 6 feet I was a little hesitant as to the overall width of the uprights but not an issue at all. Plenty wide even with long arms for any type of movement such as flys, etc. 200lb stacks are great even with a 2:1 ratio and the motion is extremely smooth.

This machine shines and zero regrets on the purchase. This is the 4th piece of Titan equipment added to our collection and each piece has been a great addition. The one con I can come up with is that there is one sticky spot on the weight pin.

For some reason on one upright there’s just one weight setting where the plate and guide rod holes don’t line up perfectly. That said a little bit of force when inserting the pin and I’m in business.

Last thing, we did our research and looked at options from a few competitors. The price, width and free shipping were the final decision makers. Another great Titan product and another happy Titan customer.

Awesome functional trainer. The entire family enjoys the trainer. Thought is was great that titan provides most of the attachments you need. High quality attachment. We ordered a few more to complete the system.

The packaging was in a large wooden box…well packed. Carrying all the pieces up stairs was not fun, but a family project. The trainer is well made and heavy material. No movement when doing pull ups.

The only thing titan could do better is have more detailed directions for assemble. Especially loading the plates. 5 stars. Great addition to the home gym.

Here’s the deal, if you’re a fitness enthusiast like me looking for functional trainers, you’ve been grinding over which FT to order for weeks. In my case, months. Are these reviews legit? Who can I believe? I can’t trust anything these days.

Well, this one is real deal, legit. I’ve also included a picture right after installation. I’ll keep it short and sweet. I love the height, width, and all of the toys that come with this thing out of the box (rope, long bar, short bar, two sets of handles, etc.

). The steel framing is super solid, the pulleys are smooth as silk, and the machine is stable. I was concerned about installation, so I hired a fitness installation company here in ATL. They did a great job and cut the install time down from 4 hours to 2.

You’ll need to reference the instructions on an iPad or print them out as they don’t come with the machine (why??). These dudes also know how to ship something like this. It comes in a massive crate and packed extremely well.

My wife and I carried the two towers (L, R) separately all the way around my house into the basement. I’d say they weigh about 100 lbs. each. The rest is easy except the weights. They come in stacks of 50 lbs.

x 8 boxes. Make sure you use your proper deadlift motion to carry these boxes. 🙂 Look, this thing is going to outlive me (I’m 46). I may add a bench as I’m using a Bosu ball as a flat bench (I also have a Mercy flat bench in this space).

I could not recommend this more for a home gym. You may also find this in a commercial setting as well, it’s that solid. Gotta go get ripped now – Cheers.

Eyeballed this for a year before I purchased. Went into Draper warehouse and tested; very nice employees to let me do that. Figured for this amount of money, it was essential to test. Did not get the separate attachment for the rear, and because my home gym is a little bit smaller, I did not install the plate weight holders in the back, because I have a separate holder for my plate weights.

The installation was a beast, because the instructions are very poorly written, but that is not Force USA‘s problem, we’ll, maybe it is but when was the last time you got great instructions from a Chinese install? Just don’t do it alone.

I have four boys, and my whole family uses this. It is a phenomenally built machine. The attachments are legit, and with the exception of some very specific exercises requiring unique equipment at a gym, I can do everything I do at the gym, at home! Truthfully, I bought my plate weights and bar and dumbbells at a different location, but that’s not to say that their quality is poor.

This is a very well-designed machine, and when installed correctly and patiently, it is super sturdy! Ours is in our basement. I would be extremely leery putting this on an upstairs level, due to the weight.

The cable action is extremely smooth, and the adjustable handles on each side that move up and down operate like butter! I hate the ones at the gym that go down smooth but require two hands to push up.

These are extremely smooth going up too. I would highly recommend!.

Well I spent close to $8,000 with the optional Lat row. This is a well-built unit, packaging was well done, fast shipping. I have issues using the machine: 2-to-1 ratio: Really wish I had known this.

Weight is incredibly heavy at the lowest settings. Each setting is 10 lbs so for even an experienced lifter there’s no small adjustments, it’s just too heavy. If you have a normal body Good luck doing 60% of the exercises listed.

The 2-1 ratio is so heavy. Not enough space between the pillars when using the Lat row attachment. My elbows hit the sides and I’m only 6’1″. Can’t properly do lat pulldowns with the long grip. Overbuilt/Wasted money on the ~300 lb weight stacks: WHO is using TWO of these 289 lb weight stacks, at a 2-1 ratio? Let me know because we can enter them in the world’s strongest man competition and they will win.

Support: Not great. I was told I could cut take off the shrouds to expose the weight stacks and add my own smaller weights. Yes please I want to cut up my brand new $8,000 machine! I was also told that I’m doing lat pulldowns wrong if my elbows are hitting the shrouds by a guy who knows this because he’s 6’3″ and he “has no problem”.

I think I were around 5’6″ and around 515 lbs, with 12% body fat, this machine would have been perfect.

Never thought that i would find a complete machine like G20, it is as my dream come true excepts for some MAJOR things that i am suffering right now from: The first are the weights! it begins with 9KG which is equivalent to around 19 lb, and this prevents me from doing many exercises that doesn’t require any heavy weights like “one arm triceps extensions” , “cable lower chest raise”, & even flys variations which makes it extremely difficult & heavy to perform! i wish they begun with 5 KG or even smaller like 2 kg, i hope you can find a solution of the already purchased costumers.

The 2nd problem is the weights pin, it is attached to the weights and there is no place to insert it in if i want to perform the cable lift without any weights! i should remove the wire from it completely or it will be left hanging causing noise by hitting the weights.

So far (9 months in) it saved me allot of time and money for a workout with mind at ease :).
