20 Best Work Jeans For Women (2023 Updated)

I’m new to the Carhartt brand. I volunteer at the co-op farm where we board our goat as part of her boarding fee. I don’t have separate farm jeans from my everyday jeans that I also sometimes wear to work so often I put on sweatpants to work at the farm.

Unfortunately, sweatpants and farm work do not work well together. I recently discovered Carhartt and decided to try a pair of their jeans. I love them. They feel very sturdy and not like they’ll rip if I accidently brush up against a raw edge of the wire fence while trying to quickly get out of the goat enclosure without letting out all the sneaky goats.

I also adore all the pockets. Can the jean designers of Carhartt speak to all the fashion jean designers and teach them how to incorporate real pockets in their jeans? On the right side, there’s a “little” pocket inside the big pocket, like there often is in fashion jeans.

This “little” pocket is bigger and more functional than many of the main pockets in my other jeans! I can fit my cellphone in this “little” pocket!!! I will definitely purchase more in the future!!.

I really wanted to like these jeans. I found the sizing to be on the loose / large size – I ordered a size 8 tall. I am 5’8 and 162 lbs. These pants were very tight around the waist and very loose everywhere else.

My husband would joke these are my “lesbian” jeans since after wearing them longer than 5 minutes I did not look very feminine at all and they looked 2-3 sizes too big. I ultimately used these as barn jeans for about 3 months before they randomly split in the butt while I was bending down to pick something up off the floor (seriously – It was an odd place to rip and I don’t have a larger rear).

They were comfortable while on horseback and I had plenty of room to wear undergarments underneath. I would not buy these again based on the lack of longevity and peculiar sizing.

I have a size 16 waist and size 18 hips and thighs and arthritic knees that are too swollen for most straight-leg or relaxed-fit jeans in size 16, so I have to buy size 18 jeans and put a drawstring through the waistband just to keep them up.

A belt doesn’t work because the waistband will pleat up and still gap all around, so a drawstring pulls things together like traditional sweatpants. These were no exception. Feels like sturdy fabric and I will test that as I’m a gardener and also work on our farm.

Got the washed blue color but I don’t really like the undertone of greyish-tan — makes them look a bit grubby even straight out of the wash. Do like the useful size of the pockets, though — I really use my pockets! But, still have to be sure to wear a top that generously covers the waist area so as not to show the bunchy waistband and the drawstring.

Wish pants manufacturers would make women’s pants with a choice of waist sizes paired with different hip and thigh measurements, like better men’s pants used to be. Every single pair of pants and jeans I’ve owned since about age 30 I’ve had to run a drawstring through the waistband.

Even the so-called “curvy” styles are not curvy enough! Mostly went with Carhartt this time because of the reputation for durability, so we’ll see how they stand up over time.

I was very excited to try these jeans, but so disappointed when they arrived. I normally wear American Eagle jeans as they are super stretchy and soft. There were even a few comments in the reviews from other women that wear AE, so I thought I’d love these jeans.

However they’re no where near as soft as the AE jeans that I own. I guess it depends on the kind of jean you like. I only wear the stretchy jegging ones. So if you’re looking for soft and stretchy like that then this is not it.

The material in the waist was not comfortable, they fit my legs from knees down but were baggy in the thighs and stomach. I thought if I wore them for a few minutes they’d soften up in the waist & I really wanted to keep them and thought maybe I’d shrink them but they were too uncomfortable to wear more then 10 minutes.

I purchased these and liked the fit, but they are so cheaply made. I bought these as regular wear jeans- not even to do work in. They ripped yesterday right at the upper thigh! I’ve had them less than 6 months.

Also, the dye wore like crazy, started looking gray at wear areas like thighs. Carhartt used to be great quality- I could have their jeans for 3+ years with no issue. Lately the firs have all been different between the different colors of the same jeans and now the jeans rip due to thin and poor material.

Come on Carhartt. I wouldn’t expect this out of a company that touts being for the rugged and working class.

I am a self proclaimed jean snob. I search far and wide for jeans I love then buy multiple pairs at a time in fear I will never find something that fits that good again. I have been wearing Miss Me jeans for years as these seem to be the only jeans I can find that have the proper inseam for my giraffe legs until I found these.

Carhartt knocked these right out of the ballpark. Reading though other reviews I decided to size up to the 8 over the 6 and boy am I glad I did. I bought a pair in the regular and tall and the inseam is perfect on both pairs.

Sometimes I find that the 30 inseam is still to short but not with these. I will happily say goodbye to my over priced, bedazled butt jeans from Miss Me and continue to buy these! The color on the sundried was perfect.

Already ordered the other two colors.

These are like wearing sweatpants. So comfortable and non-binding anywhere. They do tend to stretch out after a few hours of wearing and can be a bit baggy, but they are so comfy, that can be forgiven.

The roomy front pockets are also a huge plus as they can fit a cell phone inside. You can’t say that about most women’s jeans these days.

These jeans have a very comfortable waistband. The denim is quite stretchy, so it retains it’s shape after wearing. The waist sits a bit below the natural waist, which makes them more comfortable. I had been looking for jeans that wouldn’t ‘droop’ on me and the shorter rise has done this for me (with the help of a belt).

They wash up nicely in cold water. I need a long length and Lee offers that. It was hard to find these pants but I found them here, thank goodness, in my size of 12 Long.

This is the first pair of Lee jeans that I have purchased in awhile. I’m glad I gave them another try. They are perfect for weekends, running errands and whenever comfort is a factor. They fit great in the waist.

Since they are a relaxed fit, these jeans are a little roomy in the hips and thighs. If you are looking for a relaxed fit then you will love these jeans.

I waited to review until I wore these a couple of times. I have large thighs (and calves), but smaller hips so the straight-leg jean or the boot cut is about all that fits and moves for horseback riding and working outdoors, around horses.

I typically buy Levis Curvy Bootcut, but their wide range of quality and ever-changing size (even when buying the same jean on the same day) has become frustrating. I purchased Aura jeans years ago, the denim was pretty darn thick – so they did last – the jeans don’t give (not great for mounting a horse) and I don’t wear them much for this reason.

I read the comments about the “new” Aura jeans and decided to try them out. I like the fun pocket design (arrows), the hips fit well and the denim is thick enough to work and provide protection, but not so thin that I’m worried about a short-lived jean.

After a couple washings and wearings, the jeans fit my body better than when I first put them on. Upon first try-on, I thought they would shrink (uh oh) and be tighter in the thighs, but they did not shrink and actually have more room, without being baggy.

I’m happy with this purchase and do recommend it. Note – The denim is thinner than Aura jeans purchased 4 years ago. I hope Wrangler doesn’t continually change the fit, size, or quality when I buy another pair in the future.

Consumers should be able to count on the same fit from the same jean, 6 months after ordering the pair we love.

I have worn Aura jeans from wrangler for over a decade. After my previous order I wrote an outstanding review for the product. However, someone at wrangler got the big idea to “update” this style and they have completely ruined it.

I actually had to go back and check to see if they had sent me the correct item. The legs are different. The waist/hips are different. And the bottom is all wrong. Definitely not pleased with the changes and will be returning these jeans.

This is especially frustrating since the previous style would last me a year or more of hard use.

I am glad I read the reviews before blindly purchasing. I waited to actually try them on while visiting my daughter in WY. Wow, not the same Aura jeans that I have been wearing for 10 years! The fit and feel are different.

I was assured that they were the same, no they are not. As I was in the store, (no, we don’t have anything close to the same in Alaska), 2 separate women came in returning these jeans. Please Bring Back the Aura jeans that seemingly most of the reviews are asking for and suggesting.

New isn’t better, just new.

Wow the horizon color is a Very slimming stretchy jean , good quality and value. typically I wear a 6 but stretched a bit after wear, therefore purchased a 4 in the horizon color, Much better fit On the other hand, The pearl and Seattle, in comparison, are very similar in fabric and in color, not a lot of variation between these two garments when you put them side-by-side.

Also They have a snugger fit. These two fabrics are very different than the darker blue horizon, which I like the best for a couple of reasons. First the waist is higher good fit secondly the fabric is very soft and a better quality and comfort.

Super slimming Denims that holds everything in its place. Medium length is perfect For 5’5“ Highly recommend.

Great depth of color; exactly what was described is what I got and they fit beautifully with enough length for this long-legged girl. The waist and hips are proportionate and I love the fit.

These were a little wider in the leg than I wanted but there were no more skinny legs style available. The color was also different than I expected. The color is called Lilac but it is a gray-lilac. I ended up liking this color! I went to the store and exchanged the size, which they did for me online with no problem.

All in all, it was a very good experience and the product is well made. I wish they carried more petite sizes!.

If this is the replacement pair for the one I ordered earlier. I love them! Was not aware that the first pair did not have an elastic back so the waist was too big. Had to return it. I replaced the returned pair with two others that did have the elastic back waist.

I already own an elastic back pair of black stretch jeans from Blair and LOVE them! Ordered another 2 pairs, (white and washed denim). Very happy with Blair apparel in general. Too bad Blair no longer offers the coordinated matching embroidered knit top and matching sweat pant sets any longer.

Some of the long sleeve embroidered matching sets were zip front (like a sweat jacket) others were simply pull over heavy duty (sweat) knit tops with matching sweat pants for comfortable winter wear.

Some sweat pant sets had hemmed bottoms, other the standard elastic bottoms on the pants. Also, Blair knit pants are generous in length. Other heavy duty knit pants shrink in wash/dryer and become too short over time.

I have always bought these jeans with great outcome. The size 12 has always been my go to. But after reading other reviews I wanted to pay attention to where the items were made compared to fit. First I decided to buy up one size following previous reviews.

The pkg arrived with two pair being made in Sri Lanka and one marked Indonesia. They all fit, however, quite snug for a 14. so glad I didn’t order a 12. The Sri Lanka pairs were longer and more snug than the Indonesia pair.

It was a little fuller cut, not so much in the waist, but thighs. then it is about an inch shorter. All this being said I’ve never been hung up on size, I buy what fits my body. These are still a good fit as most other “average” length jeans will be 29″ at best and tend to be short on me.

I am 5’5″ and 165lbs. Long legs and short body. 😠sometimes frustrating when looking for jeans. Some better monitoring of size consistency would be nice with these favorites. And thank you for not making them high waisted!.

I am very picky when it comes to the pants I wear, especially jeans. So I was curious to see if this Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda Classic Jeans would work for me. I choose a size up so that they would be loose in the thighs even though this would probably make then really big in the waist depending on where they sat.

I am on the tall end of the petite scale which is frustrating so I decided to try the average length instead as well. These jeans are supposed to have a tapered leg but thankfully they were not too tapered as they were nice and loose all throughout my legs.

These jeans are supposed to have a classic rise and I thought they landed nicely on my waist as I prefer a higher rise waist line. These jeans are supposed to have supreme stretch and I feel that they do since they are made from 71% cotton, 27% polyester, and 2% spandex even though I prefer jeans made from 100% cotton.

I really enjoy wearing these Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda Classic Jeans and they will be one of my go-to pairs when I want to wear a pair of jeans.

I purchased my first pair of Willows from my local Rural King in spring of 2021 and I was instantly in love. They fit great, felt great when I was riding, and held up good for the first few months. I bought one more pair online that summer, followed by 2 more pairs at AQHA Congress in Oct.

2021. I ride 6 days a week, usually 2-4 horses a day. I spend 5-6 hours a day in the barn in these jeans and I only purchased them because I was hoping these jeans were up to the task. They aren’t. By spring 2022 the pair I bought in the summer of 2021 were blown out in the thighs.

I wasn’t immediately upset and I was willing to consider this a fluke, but now one of the pairs I bought in Oct are ripping up the middle seam (yes, right at my butt). These jeans were not purchased tight and they were only washed once a week on average, some pairs only once every other week.

These jeans DO NOT hold up to the demands of riding and barn work as I had hoped. It’s hard for me to spend $60-$70 on a pair of jeans but I was hoping that if I made the investment they would last. Not sure if I was somehow caring for them wrong or what, and maybe this is just me, but I don’t think I’ll be buying these again and if you ride every day, I don’t know that I’d suggest you buy them either.

I was a little confused by the size chart because the waist measurements seem so big compared to the hips (usually there’s a 10″ difference between the two). My natural waist is 26″ and hips are 37″ so the size chart really wasn’t of much help, but I assumed that Wrangler must have meant “low waist”, even though they explicitly say to measure around the narrowest point (your natural waist).

So I went with a size 5, which fit my hip and thigh measurements the closest, and was closest to my usual size. It was great! And the waist was definitely not too big, despite the waist for that size being (29-29.

5″). so they must mean low waist. I got the “Brooke” color, partly because it is one of the colors with a higher level of elastine in them and felt it would help them fit better. Excellent product, maybe it’s time to fix the sizing/measuring information, though.

In some reviews I’ve seen people order based on their waist measurement and I can confidently say I’m NOT a 0 so that would have gotten me a pair a few sizes too small!.

I don’t ride. I just want jeans that fit my curves and don’t gap or shift down when I move/bend/squat/garden/pick up toddlers/etc. I have two pairs that are worn out and ordered more. Well, the Della pair is sized way off but I’ve already washed them, trusting the size guide, thinking they might shrink up.

They did not. Also, the belt loop placement on the sides is either thoughtlessly designed or intentionally designed to rip before the rest of the jean is worn out. There is no reinforcement. If they anchored the bottom of the belt loop to an existing seam, I would say best jeans ever.

I have bought 6 pairs of these jeans so far. They last a long time, longer than more expensive jeans I’ve tried, and they are comfortable. Overall they fit well. One of my biggest complaint is that they don’t have a long enough inseam! They have a 36 inseam up to a certain size, then they are only available in 34.

Wrangler, you need to understand that plus size women can be tall too!! We aren’t all short or average, and it has been a complaint of mine for years that I have a hard time finding jeans that are big enough in the hips and long enough.

I’m an active woman, I work on the ranch that I run, I ride horses, and I hate that these jeans don’t sit on my boots like they should when I’m in the saddle and don’t stack when I’m standing. I also have complaints about consistency.

Four of the pairs I bought fit about the same, then after I had worn them for a while I ordered two more pairs, and they were both tighter and shorter in the waist. Even though they were supposed to be an exact match! They were also missing the extra belt loop that two of the pairs had.

I love that extra loop because it keeps my belt from trying to ride up on me in the back when I’m doing various ranch duties. Please make sure your sizes are consistent, add the extra belt loop to all the prayers, and for once please please PLEASE make a 36 inseam for the curvy gals!!.

I would give zero stars but there was not that option. This is not against your company but it is rather about the poor quality of products nowadays. The jeans I ordered said 98% cotton and 2% spandex.

I knew right away that couldn’t be true because of the amount of stretch in them. The fabric is also quite thin, nothing compared to the Wranglers I have from 10 years ago which are also 98/2 but are much thicker material and better quality.

I wear 0 but since you don’t have that size, I thought 1 would work. They were too big so I thought with 98% cotton, they would shrink some but they did not. That is another reason why I don’t believe they are 98%.

Since I washed them, I knew I couldn’t return them so I will have to alter them or give them to someone. Again, my rating is for poor quality. I would love to be able to buy the old Wranglers made with thick material, of good quality, and with the leather patch and plain ‘W’ on the back pocket.

Those were the best for riding and working on the ranch. Also, not everyone likes stretch. What happened to 100% cotton? Thank you and I appreciate the opportunity to rate this product.

I have bought these exact jean and wash before with success. I decided to buy more- unsuccessful and VERY disappointed. No consistency is a horrible feeling especially when you have bought the exact pair before.

When i tried them on it was a perfect fit, then i washed them which i also have done with previous pairs and they shrunk so much they are no longer long they are WAY too short! I was un able to return all 5 because i cut the tags off and washed them! What a waste of money.

Material is obviously different for it to have shrunk that much also. Quality control and consistency would be nice.

Ten stars for how well they fit me (5’10” 165lbs, size 14 fits great) and one star off until TS makes these in a size range to fit every working woman. I’m thrilled to find these after a long online & in-store search for work pants with a full set of pockets like all men’s work pants.

The heavy, stretchy denim is very comfortable and moves with me. Construction is good. Seems like they’ll last. Front and hip pockets are deep, hooray! Thigh pockets on both sides are terrific. Two layered pockets on the right fit my big phone in its case.

Left side thigh pocket is slightly narrower and perfect for tools or glasses. I wear these indoors and out. They’ve become my everyday jeans. Every woman deserves to have pants this durable, comfortable, and fully functional.

I echo what another reviewer said: real women come in every size and there is a huge market for work jeans like this. Fully 90% of horse owners are women — and most of them don’t wear breeches all day! It would also be great to see them in a quick-dry, stretchy, durable nylon for rainy days, and a loose, lightweight, light color for hot sunny days.

Let’s hope TS reads the reviews and starts making these in a full array of sizes. They’re on to something good here.

I have been out working in wood mills making pallets and then at Masonite doing siding. I have worn women work Jean yet could not find a good fit for the work I had to do as a woman. I later was given a to, a tip that I should try out men jeans.

I did and they worked wonderful. Well these Ridgecut Women’s Flex Work Jeans are amazing. They feel tough at first touch yet when you put them on they feel so secure with these jeans. I know work with construction and I love the durability, when washing they still have not turned yet I hope too soon.

The deep pockets are a great feature and the loop to hang my hammer. Absolutely wonderful pair of jeans. These Ridgecut Women’s Flex Work Jeans hug your body vs laying on you.

Although the sizing chart suggested these would fit, not one of the jeans (in my size) fit right. Every pair left a gap at the back waistline large enough to put a melon inside. There are not enough loops to hold them snug against the waist to eleviate the problem without leaving the waistline bunching uncomfortably.

I am so disappointed! I have one pair of Riders jeans that fit but apparently you no longer make them and now offer jeans that don’t fit, period. How about making jeans to fit women with a smaller waistline and larger hips? Not everyone has a boys figure.

We would like to wear comfortable jeans too!.

I’ve had a pair of the no-fade black Britts for about a year now and wear them almost every day, and I’m impressed with how well they’ve held up. Mine are from the first run so I can’t speak to what the current run may be like and things may have changed.

Here’s my thoughts on these pants. Fit/Design I have this and two pairs of denim Britts that I wear regularly. This one feels baggier and stretchier, especially in the butt and crotch areas. I don’t notice it as much anymore, but it does move and drape differently than the denim.

The overall dimensions are pretty much the same, but the pockets are not. The left thigh pocket is 2” lower on my no fades than on my denims, and about 1. 5” wider. I added a couple stitches to keep my phone from sliding out.

The pen pocket is 3/8” shorter, and that’s enough that a sharpie doesn’t clip. Material/Stitching The material is tougher than I expected when I first put them on, given that it is thinner than my denim Britts.

Truly, they are still as black as when I got them a year ago, no fading into another color like my Carhartts did. There’s a row of small holes and puckering where the screws on my knife sit, but that is more a problem with the knife than pants, because that’s happened on other pants (Hey Dovetail, I’d love to have leather reinforcement on the popular knife clip spots.

For me that’s the pocket above the pens). The material is doing well, but the edges are not. It is unraveling significantly inside the fly placket and I have to cut the strings off occasionally so it doesn’t get stuck in the zipper.

The button hole is doing the same thing to a lesser extent, and one belt loop unraveled halfway through before I could fix it. I love the black thread, I wish it was used for all of the stitches. One row of stitching has come undone in the places where I clip my knife and walkie-talkie.

Overall, I love these pants and will buy them again as they are, but these issues are addressed.

I have so many brags on these jeans, and only one criticism. Let’s start with my size and the work I put all of my pants through 7 days a week. I am 5”7 and 150lbs. Most of my lower weight distribution is through my things and butt.

I wear both a 10/32 and 12/32 in Dovetail pants…the 32 length gives all of my pants the ability to have a 3” ankle cuff roll. I work loading and unloading furniture and assembling items on dirty surfaces with glass, grease and general filth.

These pants are incredibly versatile when squatting, walking, stretching, bending and sitting. They have a flattering contour that is not baggy nor is it a skinny Jean. The rise is perfect so that I never have to tug at them (I wear a belt) to keep them on my hips and up across my lower back when squatting.

The double fronted knees allow me to scoot around the dirt or floor without feeling every pebble under my knee and the durability is unmatched. I doubt I will ever begin to wear the knees out because the denim is SO durable.

All of the pockets function AS POCKETS. No shallow “joke pockets” on the Maven-or any pant I own from Dovetail. I have the ability to carry a box cutter, sharpie and pen on my right leg while clipping a walkie talkie radio almost anywhere.

My cell phone can fit in either rear pocket or hideout on the nicely angled left leg pocket. I follow the care instructions when cleaning all of my Dovetail pants to allow for the longest life possible, but despite that the one area that I have had to repair on all of my Maven jeans is the crotch and inner thigh.

I know this is always a struggle for women like me who walk 7 plus miles a day while sweating and working in dirty conditions. That’s a recipe for quickly breaking down those fibers. We’ve landed on the moon…surely something can be done here.

I would love to see a gusset crotch (like the Britt Utility) along with fabric that is double reinforced like the knees of the Maven are. I live in these jeans and it bums me out when I have to take them to my sewing machine to reinforce one area after about 8 months of wear.

My hope is that the awesome designers at Dovetail can modify this area to also be as badass as the rest of this pant. So in closing…if you’re on the fence about these pants or this company I encourage you to go get a pair, and then go get 3 more….

These pants are LEGIT! I’m a general laborer so I do a lot of different things; from climbing ladders, working underneath machines, lugging trash, carrying concrete, buffing flooring, scrubbing spray paint… many different tasks.

These pants move with me so well I dont have to keep adjusting them. They look nice and can take a serious beating. So far I dont see how they could ever rip or wear through (usually i wear through either under the butt cheek or inner thighs because CURVES AND MOVEMENT DONT USUALLY MIX!) They feel tough and strong and the stitching is impeccable.

Slightly heavier than a flimsy pair of regular everyday jeans but definitely not heavy weight or overly hot. I am in LOVE with these pants. Strong enough for construction but still fit for a woman. 10 years I have been searching and I have found the best work pants ever now.

This jean is on trend and classic at the same time which makes it a must buy. However, finding the right size may be tricky. As this is a straight jean with high waist I had anticipated that my size would either be 1 size too big or small.

I ordered my usual Levi’s size 25 and it actually fitted well but was a relaxed fit which I didn’t want. For some this might be what you want so I would recommend buying your usual jean size. I wanted this jean to fit tighter like the wedgie fit so I bought a 24.

I actually don’t have any 24 jeans in my closet but this one fit. Since this jean is cotton I know with some wear the tightness will give into a comfort fitted jean- it’s not terribly constricting me now but I don’t plan on wearing this jean for a dinner feast.

I return the 25 but will keep in mind that I might buy this size in a different color for a relaxed style jean. For size reference I’m 5’5”, 115 lbs, slim petite built with some curves. Usually a 00 in pants or 25 in most jeans.

I haven’t worn Levi’s in years but after reading the reviews tried these and I love the retro vibe! They are straight cut but that fits me well and I have always preferred (and love) the old school, more rigid denim.

Although slightly distressed they are classic looking and I think would stand up to a more dressed up style. Perfect with a high quality black or white tee. They are comfortable and versatile. I sized up one size and they fit well but are still a bit loose, and they stretch some as I wear them.

I would not size up too much because they will give as you would expect, given the kind of denim, which I like. The color is super versatile as well. The higher rise also works best for me. The whole design is flattering.

These are not thin or stretchy denim so be prepared for that but it is exactly what I was looking for.

I was looking for full length straight leg jeans. These feel modern but not fad-ish, if that makes sense. Funny since they are the classic 501s. I am 5′ 8″”, around 142 pounds with a slight pear shape.

These fit in my usual size 30, with a slight gap in the waist that I solve by belting. They are not quite as loose on the leg on me as on the model, but they are not tight at all. They are old school thicker denim, which takes a bit of getting used to after wearing stretchy denim for years! But they break in nicely and seem like they will wear very well.

The distressing is subtle and well placed. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend these.

I am an out of shape pear shape, 5’6, and usually wear a size 10 in jeans. I ordered a 30 and 31 in the darkest wash. The size 30 arrived without tags and I have no idea if these have been worn and washed, but they appear in nice shape.

I mention this because the length is short on me. The 31 fits a bit looser but looks weird around my knees, so I am going with the 30. But length wise they both have a slight high water look. They high waist is just high and doesn’t feel like it sucks me in at all.

Then again I have a small waist in comparison to my large rear so maybe it would give better support on another shape. I really cannot find other attractive jeans that work on my shape and don’t break the bank so I will probably still keep.

But I wouldn’t expect these to be your favorite pair.

I have two pair of high waist 512 perfectly slimming boot cut I bought about 12 yrs ago, and could not find them anywhere. These are as close to them as possible. It is very difficult to find a good boot cut with a high waist.

It would be nice to find a true “high” waist, and these are really close. As a woman a little older, we appreciate something to hit us a little higher on our waist. The denim is a lighter feel. The fit is great.

Length great. I would like the tummy slimming fabric in the front like my 512’s have, in these. Maybe Levi’s will consider a slimming line. The only reason I gave them a 4 star is I haven’t washed them yet.

Hopefully the length will not shrink. They also didn’t break the bank.

Absolutely perfect fit, comfortable, and flattering for curvy figures! I am so glad bootcut style is back on trend! I would say the bootcut is a little wider than typical bootcut, in a good way. The quality is very good.

The material is thick and supportive and has some stretch and the colour is nice and dark. I ordered a second pair because it is not often I find a pair of jeans with the correct proportions for me. The fit was true to size.

They are good for working in or they can be dressed up. I have been complimented wearing them.

I have only one complaint with the jeans. I wear women’s sizes and the waist hits to low on the hips. When you are plus size the last thing you want is pants that make your muffin top worse. If the waistline was higher in the women’s size it would be perfect.

The Jean quality is perfect. I like my jeans to be thick and not too much stretch. The jeans don’t bag out in the back after wearing them for an hour. The length is good too. Also if you need to return an item you have to pay for return shipping, NOT DICKIES!.

I’ve grown tired of the skinny jean trend and was looking for a stylish pair of jeans that wasn’t glued to my body. Not knowing exactly what to search for, I typed “carpenter jeans” into Google and braced myself for the results.

I was hoping for a good alternative to skinny jeans but expecting the results to be 90’s style baggy jeans. The Dickies website popped up. I was surprised – my husband wears Dickies for work – but I was also open minded.

The first pair of jeans I found didn’t come in tall so I clicked around and found these. I placed my order and crossed my fingers that they would fit. I absolutely LOVE them. They fit great – they aren’t baggy but they aren’t skin tight either.

And they’re so affordable. I really couldn’t be happier!.

I really like these jeans. Very comfortable. I recommend getting your size. I bought size bigger assuming would shrink, they don’t. I tried. They do stretch out as wear, especially if your very physically active (bending, stretching, lifting, etc.

) Jeans will go back to regular size after washing. Durable jeans for work. No other jeans I’ve bought have hacked it. I recommend for women who work in manufacturing or warehouse.

I own 5 pairs of work pants including these. The others from Duluth Trading, one from Carhartt(junk pants), and finally Dovetail. I think Dovetail can learn a little from Duluth Trading. Their pants are water resistant and have more secure pockets for a lower price.

I’ll let the high price go because I know this company is still growing and not as established as Duluth Trading. The 5th front pant pocket is one of my biggest problems. They made it smaller and triangular, which makes it harder to conceal my pocket knife.

Duluth Trading workpants have a big, full sized, 5th front pocket. The 5th front pocket also sits too close to my belt, which causes my 5th pocket carry knife to rub against my belt. This is a problem for anyone, who EDC’s a 5th pocket carry subcompact folder knives.

Front pockets are a very big deal for those that don’t use their back pockets. The pants need a few hidden pockets with concealed zippers. This brand could be a huge thing for the EDC community. I really needed a pair of work pants that were made out of blue jean fabric.

They make a good pair of winter/fall pants because of the color. One final suggestion would be to make summer/spring colored jeans such as lighter blues, somewhat chambray, vintage candy blues, etc. Where Dovetail really outshined Duluth Trading was with fit.

These pants are downright flattering.

Get yourself a pair or more once they are back in stock. I hope a herm version in this will soon come out for colder weather. As this does keep me feeling good in the winter because I move around alot some may actually not be moving much so a thermal would be great.

AS MUCH as I love this brand now. Here is my verbal review. I am 5’7 slim/athletic build with wider hips, long legs and a small athletic butt. I ordered a size 2 which I normally am a 3 but no brand can fit my exact body shape.

The waist on this is tight when pulling up past my hips but once above it, it’s actually a little loose for me. I like it though. I eat through out the day even while working to keep my blood sugar steady.

I snack pick because of my jobs. The jeans aren’t super tight but still gives a feminine look that still can make a woman feel pretty damn sexy, feminine and masculine all in one. The tool loop could be a little more loose? Or stretchy but not too much.

It’s hard getting my hammer right back in it. But it’s not stopping me from using this. The deep pockets are a must have for me. The hidden zipper pocket could possibly be moved. Realistically I think the normal butt cheek pocket could be layered on top with the zipper for easier access.

If I need to get into that zippered pocket I literally need to turn my waist and upper body and look where the zipper Is and try to get my car keys or cc out of there. I still love it tho!!!! I work in a warehouse as an associate so I can’t hold a purse on me as time is very limited to go and grab stuff and then as an apprentice carpenter.

So I use this Britt jeans for different types of trades. I still am in love with DOVETAILWORKWEAR. Also the Thermal Overalls is my second go to!!! I got that in a size 4 as I like looser it overalls but if you expect to leave the buckles unhooked then get your normal size.

I posted instagram bodes while on the job and alot of women are now seeking it. Maybe I should have not have posted it on social media because they are all out of stock in my size. lol I want it all to myself.

Just get it!!! get it! get it!!.

This is my second pair, that’s how much I love them. I was hesitant to spend so much on jeans the first time, but they’ve been worth it. I have 8 kids and we have a farm, so I’m pretty busy with animal care, building and fixing farm structures and fences, on and off the tractor.

These jeans make my life so much easier. I love the deep pockets and the sheer number of them. I can carry several tools and animal care items without worrying about losing anything. The crotch design makes sitting in a saddle comfortable.

The waistband is sturdy enough to support my holstered gun. The fit is great and feels tailored. I actually bought a couple pairs for two of my older daughters and they love them too. Great job making work jeans for women!.

These are more stretch pants than jeans, IMO. I can barely tell they have cotton in them. Even so, they are very comfortable. The legs seem a tad tapered, rather than straight leg from the hip. I got size 8R, which supposedly is for 39 1/2 inch hips.

My hips are 37 1/2 or maybe 38. These pants were very snug, despite being 2 inches smaller than the hip size they’re supposed to fit. I don’t know if they run small or that’s the way they’re supposed to fit.

Also, the material on the interior of the upper thighs pooches out a bit, as if the thigh size is slightly too large for me. Still, they are flattering and comfortable overall. If they shrink in the wash, these size 8s would be too tight for me in the hips and waist and lower legs, so I may get a larger size to allow for shrinkage and keep them, since they are comfortable.

I always hated Levi’s. They always seemed too small and stiff. I could never find the right size and always left the store feeling defeated. These have totally changed my view. They are SO soft and a little stretchy, they are actually super comfortable and FIT.

I carry all my weight in my hips and thighs and I like a straight fit that goes to the tops of my shoes. I got these in black and people keep saying that I look like I’ve lost weight (I haven’t). I don’t know how they hold up over a long time (I hope they don’t pill and get rough on the inside), but so far I have worn them almost every day for 3 weeks and can’t get over how much I like them.

I also like that they are high enough for me to squat down without my underwear showing in the back. I’m going to get them in blue and see if they are just as good.

Oh my, everything went well! I had been looking online for a nice pair of Jeans! I live in Morganton, so my friend and decided to shop a couple places in Hickory. Just so happened I found the Levi’s and I love them.

Already worn them twice and so comfortable and a perfect fit. Of course, I did try them on that day because I am slim and 5’9″ tall and also find shopping sometimes difficult for me. I have found that Dillards always has clothing I love and fits.

These jeans are fantastic. I have an hourglass shape body with a lot of muscle on on my legs and these fit me like I sewed them myself using my dress form. Not only do they fit perfectly they are the first pair of Women’s Carhartt pants I have had that are just as tough as the mens, I have a farm and I am around fencing all day, most pants get destroyed quickly by fencing or getting on and off the tractor, these hold up.

I have pairs of these I have worn for 18 months and even though they are faded they are still in service. Usually if I do snag a fence its with the front of my legs and the few snags I have didn’t go through the top layer of the denim on the double front.

PLEASE KEEP MAKING THESE. Your denim selection is now pathetic with just two jeans left after these are gone. WHY? Why do you finally make something great for ladies and then discontinue it??!! Carhartt needs to quit trying to be a lifestyle/fashion brand for Woman and actually make WORK CLOTHES that WORK for us.

If people want fashion they can head on over to Carhartt WIP and live it up.

Overall, I would not rebuy these. I feel that they fit far too relaxed to the point where they are baggy and need to be pulled up during the day. I don’t wear these without a belt. A little break in is necessary for most pants I feel.

I bought my true size 10. They fit perfect when I first had them, but 3 months later I have to belt them to prevent overly baggy feeling while wearing them. I’m not impressed with the fit. Too bad because the quality of the material seems fine, I really like having the pocket set up, and I do kneel on cement a lot at work so the double front is actually useful for preventing wear and tear.

I think I prefer the Layton Skinny over these, even though those run small.

Idk what “women” these are made for. I am a size 14. I had to buy a size 18 to fit and they fit my legs but are super baggy on my waist. Like yeah they work good, let’s see if they last longer than my first pair.

The thighs started shredding about 6 months in which honestly for the price point I don’t think that’s acceptable. I have 20 dollars jeans from Kohl’s that have held up longer and better than Carhartts and they aren’t even work pants they’re just jeans to wear casually.

Not to mention I have 3 different sizes but all the same style, slim leg, and all of them fit differently. Have some sort of quality control for God sakes. I want to support but I’m sick of basically gambling and hoping this size will fit nvm hold up long term.

I’ve never worn the GA brand before, and I’ve had a crummy string of luck lately so far as denim goes (ie: pairs giving me love handles where there are none, leg fit feeling weird, etc. ), so I had modest expectations for this pair of denim.

I was most anxious about the sizing as I’ve read that these stretch somewhat, while others seem to say they’re true to size (and it’s not like they’re so cheap that you’d just buy three sizes outright…you want to get it right the first time).

I utilized the size chart on the website here, and after much debate, I decided to order my true size and not count on tons of stretch. It turned out to be a perfect choice! Out of the bag, these look like they’d be too small, but they slide on just right! I’m so glad I didn’t size down, because these fit like a glove.

Now I’m sure I would have been able to squeeze into the smaller size, but it wouldn’t have been as comfortable. For reference, my waist is 28in with 40in hips/butt (I ordered the size 6), and these had no waist gap at all.

They were also amazingly comfortable! I actually tried them on after a full dinner, and I didn’t even have to wiggle into them. They feel really soft! These do have a bit more of a flare than I was expecting, but they’re right on in the fashion department.

They also just skim the floor for me, and I’m 5’8” on the nose. They also do nice things for the caboose, I must say. 😎.

These are FANTASTIC. They are exactly what I was hoping for when I saw them online. I am 42, and they remind me of my old going out jeans in college/after college. When jeans had that perfect hem and flare with boots and a new “going out top” you just felt SO good? Ahhh, best memories, and these jeans brought all that back.

They are ridiculously flattering. I am just about 5’7″ and probably 160 these days. I went with the 10 which feels and looks great- Im excited to put on a really fun outfit later today and go out, that’s how great these jeans are! Thanks GA, love!.

These jeans are a really nice quality. I love the stretch and the way they make my legs and bottom look. The big BUT here is that they are incredibly too long. I am 5’4″ and wear a true size 18. The Good American size 18 Regular was perfect, but they’re too long.

I don’t typically purchase Petite sizes because they are usually a bit too short for me. Since height 5’4″ is on the cusp between Regular and Petite sizing based on the chart, I chose Regular. They’re too long.

That’s my only complaint.

Great jeans! Comfy, great fitting, easy to move in! The waist hits that sweet spot of high enough to cover wall past the hipbones but low enough to not bunch when you bend over. However – they are NOT a straight leg.

The hem (on both pairs, so this is not a one-off) is 1 1/2 inches less in circumference than the knee, so there is still a pretty good taper. I will be buying more – but still wish for a true straight leg from you guys!.

As a machinist, I require jeans that are durable, comfortable, and allow me to move freely. It’s a huge bonus that the front pockets are deeper than 2 inches. These are the only jeans I will wear while working.

They are not black black like I thought. The cut was kind of just wrong for a full sized gal and it’s not for tall gals either. I had such high hopes for the jeans to work for me but my shorter friend enjoys the jeans so that’s a plus.
