You will like these gloves for workman, they are fluffy on the inside but rubber outer coated so you can touch wet things. Many sizes available, best to get a size that fits. When you put them on they make you stronger as when lifting heavy things you cant feel it dig into your hands.
They have a nice gentle elasticated cuff band which is practical as it stops rubble or loose soil going inside. Well worth 10-12. Dewalt have become the best all round for all their many products they do, dont buy cheap imitations.
These are XXL, but seem about the same as the XL that I bought at Lowe’s. I was so hoping XXL would be easy on easy off, but no difference. Once on, it’s a very good glove, and seems to keep my hands warm with that wetsuit like material they use.
But to try taking them off- it’s difficult. Then more difficult to get back on again. My bad- big hands is what I got.

I live in Maine and between temps that can reach 20 below or more and enough snow to make anyone happy I can tell you these gloves do what they say they do. Their warm, dry and comfortable. I found them a little tight for my hands at first but they are loosening up the more I use them.
Best thing is, when shoveling snow my hands don’t get soaked from sweat, they breath well and don’t soak through from melting snow. Not to bulky, grip is great, dexterity is excelent for this type of glove.

this was originally a find from the lost and found pile. wore them in the harshest and wettest weather northern California could muster. After four years of rope work and ski patrol on a snowboard (harder on gloves), Bought a new pair and used the old one as a spare.
Now seven years later, on my way to buy a third pair as the first pair’s happily worn through (only at where rope contacts). I’d easily pay three times as much for these gloves.
These gloves are a poor choice. The fingertips are very inarticulate, the lining tends to stick to your fingers and make it difficult to get them on and off when there is any moisture on your hands and they are about as waterproof as a sponge.
I tried spraying them with scotch guard and it made the black bleed into the leather. They were so unworkable that I returned them.

These gloves are truly waterproof. I bought them so I could water my animals in the winter without freezing my arthritic fingers. My fingers and hands stayed absolutely dry even when I had the outside soaked.
My fingers were still able to function and grip lids, handles, etc. The fingers are slightly long for my hand so there is a bit of extra on the tips, making it slightly difficult to get a grip but I did not have to rip my gloves off and freeze my fingers to get the job done.
Very well built durable gloves but I use them for snow removal and find that my hands sweat profusely while wearing them and and up smelling awful by the time I’m done. Also it takes days for the liner to fully dry and that includes time spent in the dryer on high heat.
They are definitely waterproof and I may try removing the liners to see if that helps because overall they are nice gloves.

I measured my hand at a size 7 and they fit perfectly upon arrival. It’s December in New England and I do still get cold fingertips but the warmth on these is still the best I’ve found. I get a great grip on the pitchfork! Some difficulty swapping out hay baskets as the fingers aren’t small enough but that’s a small price to pay for having warm hands.
These are great fitting gloves. They do it all; from everyday barn chores to riding or whatever. They are quite warm and (so far) are very durable. The fact that they are leather (at least in part) makes them more breathable than other waterproof gloves.
Plus, I love the smell of leather! Overall, these are a great glove and worth the price. Fit is great; tight enough to make finger dexterity possible but not so snug as to be uncomfortable. I love the way leather conforms to create a comfortable fit.
For all of these reasons, these are now my favorite winter glove.
I bought these gloves for feeding in the winter on my way to work. I love the ribbed cuff, which hugs my slim wrists and keeps hay out of my sleeves, and the warm lining, which keeps my fingers from freezing while I’m working.
They fit well and I find I grab them out of my car when I’m feeding cows or doing work outside at home. A little pricey if you just look at the number, but they will last a long time. Not sure how waterproof, but haven’t had a problem yet.
Wouldn’t intentionally immerse them in a water tank, though. Would buy again.

The gloves are so comfortable. Dexterity is high. These are warm down to 21 degrees and then below that or with a windchill or as we had freezing rain for an entire day the fingers began to freeze painfully so.
Once the temperature rose above 40 my hands sweat in these and then the sweat would get cold to a stiff fingers degree. I would recommend these to anyone in construction or working outdoors in 20-40 degree weather.
I work 9 hr days from literal dawn outside. These have been a great asset and would recommend these to anyone. Other guys I work with have Carrhart Winter Gloves but the dexterity isn’t as great and get as cold and hot as these do.
The one major flaw is the lack of wrist coverage. So working in freezing wet and high winds may not be suitable for these gloves.
I was working working as a ramp agent at an airport in Minnesota. I tried various types of gloves and glove/liner combos with no success. Some were too bulky for handling semi delicate tasks, soMe were not warm enough, some were not waterproof, etc.
These are the gloves that solved all my cold-hand problems. almost. I coupled these with some thin polypropylene glove liners and never looked back. Snowy, icy, blizzard, slushy, these held up. They were warm and waterproof.
When the temp dropped below zero (-10 to -30) and the wind picked up soMe timea my fingers would get cold. But, we would keep disposable or zippo hand warmers in our pockets, warm up our fingers every 15-30 minutes and keep plugging.

My hands are always cold from working outside in the tow truck industry. Hard to get on and off when going in and out of customers cars so you don’t get their cars oily or greasy from having to hook the cars up, and from cleaning an accident scene.
The exterior of the glove is extremely durable, and my hands stay dry, which is a HUGE plus. The inside liner, however, comes out with your hand, so you have to try to put your hand in the same way it came out so the liner doesn’t get bunched up in the fingertips, that eats up time.
Time sometimes is very limited and you have angry State Patrol and traffic breathing down your neck to free up the roadway. Perhaps offering a glove with 100 grams or more Thinsulate, and offering an open wrist for easier access and removal.
With the lining attached somehow in the fingertips to prevent coming out with your hand as you take your glove off. The gloves are good for weather in the 50 to low 20’s at best. Nothing below the 20’s or there is a good chance your hands will get cold.

so far ive got them wet and used in -28. First , the wetness : 38 degree day light rain unloading fire wood all day. Glove were so soaked i could feel the weight difference. The water did get soaked up in the outer shell but my hands stayed warm and dry.

Please. I was in 20-degree weather and my fingers were NOT warm. More like frozen fingers. Unhappy with my purchase. I require gloves that actually keep my hands and fingers warm in weather 20 degrees or less.
I purchased these with the anticipation of a cold winter. I utilized them for the first time yesterday 1/6/2015. I was clearing snow with my snow blower then finalizing the edges with a shovel. My hands stayed warm and dry.
There was no slipage on the handels of the snow blower or shovels. The gloves grip well and are very flexible.

I Hand shovel snow from the Corral, from the patio, from the 200 foot walkway and stairs and from a 300 foot driveway. Good work glove in cold weather – In FREEZING Weather I had to change gloves to another pair but still had a good case of 20 minute STINGING frost bite after an hour and a half in 18 degree weather.
As an ironworker for almost 25 years every winter I would search for warm winter gloves. The ones I would get before discovering these gloves were either too bulky with no dexterity or would last for about a month or would resort to welding gloves (try bolting up with those on ).

The gloves look nice and well constructed, but they run very small. I wear a large, have for years. Most large gloves fit perfectly, some run a little small but are still usable. These are so small that I will not be able to use them at all.
I’ve got other Hardy gloves that fit okay. Double checked the tags these and they’re large. You’ll probably want to size up or at least try them on in the store.

I got these gloves at the equine affaire in Massachusetts this year, and they are THE best gloves. They have kept my hands warm and dry no matter what I am doing. The inside is fleece lined and the outside on the palm and finger tips is rubber.

Overall I’m pleased with the gloves. I bought a pair at my local store about 2 months ago, and they were warm, soft yet sturdy. I’m tuff on my tools and clothes, so I didn’t expect these to last long, but they wore though on some of the finger tips within the first month.
I would still buy another pair and recommend them to others, with the caveat that you’ll need another pair before winters over.
They are definitely warm and comfortable they’re not really waterproof but are great for doing light work outside in the winter. If you use them aggressively because their dear hide the outer layer will rip but if you keep that in mind and use them accordingly they are an excellent buy.

Fingerless gloves are few and far between. In the past I have bought some from Iron Clad and Auto Zone. I work for Fed-Ex Ground and wear these every day on the job. I am in the third week with these gloves and they show no signs of wear yet.
They are less than half the price of the Iron Clad that only lasted me about a month or so per pair. These are really well made gloves and I love the way they are made with all the padding in the right places and they are showing no wear at all to date.
(The Iron Clad would be showing a lot of wear in the third week. ) This glove is the real deal. As a delivery driver, I need my fingers to run my scanner, but I really use fingerless gloves to get a better grip while delivering and to prevent work place cuts on my hands.

It seems the coldest these glove can be used to keep your hands warm is probably somewhere around 32 degrees (0 C). They might be winter gloves for the mid USA, I am in Toronto probably the warmest winter in Canada, and these gloves do not work at keeping your hands warm.
However, they fit tight and offer manual dexterity, and are durable, just don’t expect warmth. I am 6’2″ and 180 lb normally I get large gloves, I am glad I purchased extra large other wise I don’t think they would have fit.

I’ve been framing houses for 20 plus years in Iowa. The winters are pretty brutal at times. Finding gloves to work outside has been a life long struggle. These do pretty well for warmth & keeping your hands dry.
Better then I expected. I have tried so many styles of gloves & same results. Freezing cold hands. These aren’t really going to allow you to grab small screws or things to that nature , but I can grab hand drive nails from my tool belt pretty well.
I find them best when I’m running the nail gun because having the air ran threw the gun handle will freeze your hand ! The finger fits well in the trigger on most circ saws as well.
Got these free when I bought the t4 bibs wasn’t sure I would use them for anything other than shoveling but I absolutely love them even though they do have some bulk I find that I still have a lot of dexterity with them on and retrieving items from my nail bag.
Super easy to take on and off was a pleasant change from the gloves that pull from the liner when you try taking them off. As long as these hold up a good while I will definitely be buying more. Love these gloves.
Excellent fit, excellent construction. These gloves are well made, warm and comfortable. I’ve worn them in temps down to 4F without an issue. They are too nice to ruin at work around petroleum products but I wear them everywhere else.
