These are Justins premium pull-on boots. Waterproof, oil resistant Vibram soles, electrically rated protection, sole support plate, composite safety toe and metatarsal protection. They are also not 20 pieces of leather stitched together in a nice pattern for you to burn up all the stitches.

They are large leather panels with only practical stitching and your pant leg covers most of them. I put superglue on the stitches and around the seams so that when I do inevitably burn up the stitching (taking too all you welders / fabricators / iron workers / millwrights and boiler makers out there) the boots stay together.

I’ve been wearing this model of boot for almost a decade because they’re the best. They fit me nice too. I buy them a little tight and they take a couple of weeks to break in. I usually wear them around the house for a while before taking them to work.

I’d rather have them be tight in a place where I can take then off for a bit than where I have no choice but to keep them on all day. If you don’t get pull-ons a bit tight then they get too loose later on so a little discomfort early on pays dividends for the life of the boot.

I have tried to find similar in other brands but never really found anything that compares. I have not found any other boots, so far, that have all of the same features in one boot. I’m sure that the ‘Snap on’ of boots (Red Wing) makes something comparable but you’ll also pay a good $100 to $150 more for that privilege.

In my eyes these are the best pull-on boots money can buy.

I love these boots! I am a tow truck driver and wear these boots daily. They shine up well with a few coats of polish. The gripper soles have saved me from a slip and fall accidents several times. This is my second pair only because I ruined my soles by kicking the L arms on my truck to release them from a car tire.

I got these boots through our boot program at work (state job). They discountinued the slip grip boots that I always used before and this was the only slip resistant option I had. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not but shortly after wearing these boots I developed plantar faciitis in my right foot.

I don’t know if you’vr ever experienced this, but it’s very painful. I ended up going to the doctor and getting a series of shots to relieve the pain and have since bought a pair of athletic slip grip shoes (not boots) from this site.

They are a good shoe for my work (corrections).

So far so good. The boots are relatively new so I can’t give any insights as to quality. Especially since I have been rotating them with another pair. They are not what I initially wanted but clearance footwear sells fast.

Your CSR was knowledgeable and helpful with substituting another selection at the approximate price point, although not the same value as a closeout.

Bought these as a Christmas gift to self. Wore them to work in the oilfield day after Christmas. Early January 2022 was on a job in the rain feeling warm n toasty until my left heel began to feel wet, sure enough the boot was leaking.

I was honestly loving these boots in spite of the leak, rather rapidly the inner left heel began to cant downward making the left boot a nuisance and uncomfortable also throwing my 61 year old body out of alignment.

I’ve been wearing work boots singe age 14, 47 years and have never had this kind of failure with a pair of work boots. This is the very 1st pair of Dan Post boots I’ve ever owned, been wearing Western style boots since before I can remember.

My backup pair of another brand name are back to work while waiting for the new boots ordered a few days ago. Not seeing the option to post photos so people can see how the inside of the left has collapsed or something the whole boot is titled.

The boots are comfortable while I’m wearing them, it’s just trying to get the darn things off that has made it impossible for me to wear them. The inside insulation is coming out of the boot & it wraps around my foot when attempting to get them off.

I’ve spent 20 minutes standing beside my car when leaving work trying to get these boots off my foot so I can go home. My legs are so dang sore from pulling & pulling. After getting them off my feet I’ve been barely able to lift my legs to get my other shoes on that I wear home.

Until I can cut out the insulation that’s keeping my foot from coming out, I will be wearing an old pair of boots I have in order to keep from going through what I have been trying to get them off my feet.

It’s just not worth the trouble for me. Hopefully soon I will have enough money to go back & buy Ariats, which I know I can get off my foot. If the insides weren’t coming out I would continue to wear these but, it’s unfortunate cause they are extremely comfortable.

I’m ordering my husbands 4th pair of DP69402’s today! He loves them! He’s 67 y/o, very active, 6’ 2” & 248 lbs. He wears an 11EE in this particular style and sometimes 12EE, in other brands and styles, such as Danner military boots, used for hunting.

His lifestyle and job require waterproof footwear. Just the morning dew on the grass will wet your socks otherwise. And even though he wears the soles of these boots down, mainly the left heel, they all have remained waterproof.

Our experience with the 3 pair so far, has not been that the boots run small or large and we’ve never had an issue with the “waterproofing not lasting. ” They look good, feel good and support well! Thank you Dan Post for these boots.

I have been a ASE Master Certified Auto Technician for 20 years now. Have been through my share of boots. This specific boot from Carolina boots has been the best I’ve ever worn! I am on my second pair of 9528s with this purchase.

My last pair made it three a little over three years. And in all honesty they aren’t completely worn out. In my line of work they are constantly getting beat, covered in all kinds of chemicals, and in and out of the elements.

These boots have handled it all perfectly. only pair of boots that have never had a break-in period. And honestly I thought it was just a fluke with the last pair but my feet have never hurt in this new pair either.

I’ve been wearing them for about a month now and they have been perfect from the first time I put my foot in them. They are insulated so they are very warm at first and if there is a complaint I have it might be that.

If you’re on the fence about a good safety boot that is very warm and waterproof this is the boot you should get.

These boots are my second pair. I received a pair of boots but it was not the correct order. But I emailed overlook over the weekend and by Monday morning the correct pair was on its way. I work in a the mining industry and in our pit quarry I’m always in water,mud,gravel,sand, you name it I stepped in it.

The sole of the boot last but the stitching on the top part of the heel didn’t make it like I expected. But then I am in water and or in mud and it dries out fast and takes a big toll on the boot. I bought my first pair in February of 2020 and I just ordered a second pair.

Outside of the top part of the heel becoming exposed it’s not a bad boot for the price knowing it’s going to get beat up 6 days a week. Through all weather conditions. With all the insulation I do order a size bigger and wide so I can insert insoles because I am on my feet the better part of the day.

It is a decent boot for its price not the best outside of the stitching but I did get a rough 10 months out of them and still going until my new pair arrives.

These boots are mostly everything I need out of them. Truly waterproof, thick shank, seemingly well-reinforced in high wear areas; the only controversy is the padding. These aren’t insulated officially, but the lining is thick enough (even with the mesh) to keep them fairly warm within reasonable conditions (probably not so in snow).

This lining seems to go all the way to the toe, which is already small, making these torture to wear with proper work socks. I removed the provided insole for a slightly thinner orthodic to make it bearable, but if the toe box was bigger to accommodate a larger cap, I’d like these a lot more (bet the soft toe version is awesome).

Purchased these boots for my son for his birthday. Since they are a work boot and I’ve purchased some duluth hiking boots that are great, I thought these would be perfect with my son working construction with me.

These boots have had the seams tear already and they don’t stand up to be any kind of actual work boot. The leather is so soft it rips. They didn’t hold up for even a month and are no longer waterproof.

So don’t waste your money.

Right out of the box, these boots were very comfortable, only took a couple days to completely break in. This was my first pair of Duluth boots, am very happy with them. I am in the construction business and need a very durable, comfortable boot as I wear them 60+ hours a week including wearing them at home.

I’m very hard on boots due to the work I do. I had been a die hard Timberland boot man for 25 years, had been happy with them (lasted a full year) until last 3 pairs. 3rd to last word out in 5 months, 2nd to last word out in 3 months, last pair so uncomfortable my feet hurt so bad I couldn’t wear them; not what I’d expect from a $100+ pair of boots.

So, I needed a new boot and decided to give these a try. I waited until I wore them out, 10 months, to write my review so it was a fair review. These boots are very comfortable and easy for me to wear 10+ hours a day.

I found the sole to grip any surface very well without any slippage. I’ve worn the boots in the rain, thru swamps and on wet grounds and never had my feet get wet; the leather got wet but not my feet.

As with other boots, I had to replace the laces, but these still have the original ones. The soles were well, although they did start separating at the front tip and side. The leather and insides of the boot are still in amazingly good condition.

I would have liked to see these boots last a full year, but considering how hard I am on boots and what I put them thru, I am very happy with them. I would most definitely recommend these boots to anyone, myself I already have another pair of Duluth boots waiting to get worn.

My husband is a superintendent in construction so he’s on his feet all day at sites and also needs to make sure his feet are protected. I bought these boots for him for Father’s Day and he absolutely loves him.

In his words “these are the best boots ever”. He has wide feet and always breaks the soles of his shoes after a while so the fact that these come in a W option was a game changer for him.

After searching for a considerable time for a pair of solid work boots that could also double as casual shoes I came across these. They are exactly as I envisioned. I have worn them and they are very comfortable and true to size.

My only comment is that their insole totally lacks arch support (they are removable). I switched them out with a pair of “Dr. Scholls” heavy duty insoles designed for superior support when standing for long hours.

Expensive approx. $18. 00 but worth the cost for they are long lasting and can be laundered in a home machine.

These are my favorite pair of work shoes! I am a shop foreman and deal with a lot of customers. Wanted a nice looking shoe that covers both jobs well. These fit the bill perfectly. This is my second pair and as long as I can get them I will keep on buying.

They are also great for everyday casual wear. No one will know they are steel toe!.

These are the most uncomfortable shoe I have EVER placed on my foot. No padding inside shoe as far as insole quality, can feel any rock or uneven surface you walk on, the tread on bottom came off after 5 days of wearing them.

And they made my feet hurt so bad that I could hardly walk due to my heels burning with pain. I even bought $30 insoles and still did not help. If I had not already gotten dirty from working and could get back to a store I would return them.

DO NOT but these if you plan on actually wearing them. I’d give a -10 on review there was that option.

steel toe boots werent my first pick since i can wear composite toe shoes on my job, but a sale for 29. 99?? i literally couldnt pass up on the price. they came within 2 days shipping by fedex and i wear a size 11 women US shoes and they fit comfortably with space, soft inside soles and dont squeeze or grip my ankles.

the steel toe is definitely at the top and while they do look long, they are to protect your feet. i do love the pink details in the shoe strings and it says for her on the brahma box and the front of the boot.

i would definitely buy another pair.

This summer my 8-year-old daughter expressed interest in some new light brown boots since hers were getting tight. We looked at several shops in person and online. The ones she tried on weren’t that comfortable.

We took a chance on these Mak 2 boots with pink camouflage at the top. So glad we did because she loves them with jeans, dresses, and overalls. They have proven to be sturdy as she plays in her uncle’s shop and outside a lot.

Best of all, they are stylish and comfortable… easier on my wallet than expected.

I bought these boots because women’s shoes and boots do not accommodate doctor prescribed, fitted arch and heel orthotics. The heels are deep enough and tall enough to use them. I also bought them because they are the proper height for women with week ankles.

The one thing to remember is, that when you order a boys or men’s boot, you must get a smaller size than you wear. I wear a 6 1/2 in women’s, so I ordered a 5 in boys. That leave plenty room for socks and inserts.

I wanted a pair of quality slip on boots so I thought naturally that a company that could engineer some of the best machines I’ve had the pleasure of working on would be able to engineer a good boot.

I WAS WRONG. These boots are comfortable and great if you just need a pair of boots for 3 days. I just wore them off and on around the house(I got them for my bday) and I babied them. Despite my care the right shoe has started dethreading and coming away from the sole.

I strongly recommend to continue your search for boots. Cat is a good company. They make great engines and heavy equipment I just wish they brought the same quality to their footwear.

Now the boot , I’ve owned it for 8 work days. Day one fit great , normal break in issues ,( calf chafing and a few sore toes. ) Day two same issues times 2. Day three , same issues times 5 !!!! I operate a paver , lots of time on my feet ( apparently 15 hrs a day ) ( skipping forward) day six THEY SUCK !!! Now day 8 !!!! Toes in pain , tops , bottom , all over hurt !!!! Boots are looking AWSOME.

BUT my feet are done with them. Gonna try to get my money back. Again not customer service issue just a real paving issue. If your gonna spend 16 hours on your feet witch is a Long day’s standing i recommend something else.

I’ve worn these boots for 15 years! No, not every single day perhaps. But for the amount of work I’ve done indoors and out, I’ve put these boots through hell and back. But unfortunately after 15 years of having these boots the bottom just flipped back and is barely hanging on after kicking a pile of dirt to the side.

I’ve changed out the soles 5 times and these were my favorite grab and go shoes and I’ve unfortunately been brought to where I must retire them. RIP, best boots I’ve ever owned. :’(.

These boots started out great when I bought them in April of 2021. I had to get used to walking with the wedge style sole, not a problem. In August I blew out one of the eye hooks, it literally broke in two, the front away from the back (rivet came undone).

I lived with them that way for another few months. Then in November, the same thing happened, now outside of the 6 month warranty. I took them to a Red Wing store and they told me they could fix them, no problem, only about $6 an eye.

I told them that was a problem for me, not financially, but just the fact they wouldn’t stand behind the craftsmanship. Since the second eye came off, I started wearing my old boots from another manufacturer about every other day.

I barely had many miles put on the Wingshooter. I replaces the laces with paracord after having one lace shred (maybe from the eye?), and decided to do that with all my boots. I had an old pair of Irish Setters that I wore right into the ground, they lasted MANY years, so I hoped to get the same from these Wingshooters.

not the case. If this is how they will hold up, I will never buy another pair, especially with the limited warranty. I’m enclosing a pic of my boots, you can see they have little wear, just missing the eyes.

I was looking for a waterproof boot for the winter months and wanted to try Red Wing or Irish Setter again. I did not have much luck several years ago but now lived in Minnesota and have several Red Wing dealers close by.

I wore these boots for about 4 weeks. I had applied leather conditioners before wearing but they never seem to feel broken in even after several weeks. My feet have never hurt so bad. I went back to the store to see if there was a return option.

I was just a few days past the 30 day guarantee at this point. The manager said there was not a return or exchange option but that he would “make me a great deal on another pair of boots. ” I said I just spent $200 on these and why would I want to spend more money on a another pair of boots.

I have been wearing Thorogood boots for the last 8 years without a single comfort or construction issue. Again I thought I would try Red wing because of manufacturing issues, I was not finding the Thorogoods in my size but needed new boots before the winter came.

I continue to wear them because of the money spent but can’t wait for spring so I can switch back to my Thorogoods. I will never spend my money on another Red Wing or Irish Setter product.

This boot is greatly lacking in performance and fit. I’ve used Red Wing work boots for may years and have been very satisfied with the products I’ve had from Red Wing. However, I regret purchasing this Irish Setter product, in fact this is my first product review of any type which I felt compelled to write because the design is so poor.

My issues mainly revolve around the sole and the fit. The outsole is claimed to prevent mud buildup, which it does at the expense of traction on any surface other than dry asphalt. The tread (if you can call it “tread”) is simply hopeless and I found myself slipping in conditions my Red Wing work boots (designed for use in factory environments with a smoother sole) could easily handle.

Snow, mud, wet/damp grass or any mildly adverse condition and this boot cannot cope. Additionally, the sole is incredibly flexible. So if you intend to walk any distance your arches will quickly tire, especially if any hills are encountered.

The “UltraDry” waterproof membrane may keep moisture out, but it does not breathe well and I would advise looking for a product that uses the original brand of breathable waterproof membrane. Any basic hiking boot works better than the Wingshooter in the above areas.

I found the fit to also be very poor. The volume of the boot is extremely large such that my foot slides from side to side even in a normal width. Since there is no actual foot retention my feet slide forward and the heel is not held in place and blisters easily occur.

Wrapping the laces around the back of the ankle before lacing up the hooks helps somewhat, but it cannot solve this issue; its like wearing a loose fitting leather sock. Since the volume is so large, even with thick socks, the edges of the lacing eyes meet before I can achieve a decent hold on my feet.

I don’t think my feet are difficult to fit as I’ve never had such issues with any other boot before. I have none of these issues with my steel toe Red Wing work boots and have taken to using those in the field rather than the Wingshooter.

I would strongly advise any potential customers to seek a different product.

I bought these boots for my grandsons. Their daddy is a police officer and they needed these boots to complete their police outfits to look like dad. They are perfect! The boys will also be wearing them to help dad clean up the yard from remnants of Ida.

I bought these for my 6 yr old son who is tall for his age, hefty and has wide large feet. I bought the wide width and they fit very well and they seem to be comfortable on him! My one concern was that they seem to be made of the same materials as another pair of really cheap boots I bought a few years back.

Hopefully they hold up. The boots i bought a while back are still holding up so maybe the cheapened like material is ok, it just feel sort of cheap. Not dollar general cheap though!.

While I only gave it 3 stars (I’ll explain) it is a really comfortable boot. I’ve been through every brand and every price point in the 25 years that I’ve been wearing work boots and these one are up there in the top 3 so far.

Very comfortable, almost no break in and my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is a pretty roomy boot, almost to roomy. I went down a half size like most reviewers said and it’s still pretty big and slides on my heels quite a bit.

Not a deal breaker and something I can live with. The other reviewers also said the pull tabs on the side were rubbing their leg raw. I didn’t think much about it until it happened to me within the first hour of wearing the boots.

Extremely painful. I think that Brunt should sew the pull tabs on first and THEN sew the liner over it so it keeps the leather and thread (which Is ver rugged btw) away from your skin. I ended up getting mole skin and lining that part of the boot to stop the pain.

The only other thing I noticed is the left boot, where the sole meets the leather, seems to have been skipped over in quality control. It was separated a little right out of the box and it doesn’t look like it was sewn all the way around the heel area.

The boot is water proof still and it doesn’t seem to be causing any issues. I travel a lot for work (on the road now) so it makes sending the boots back very difficult for an exchange and I need boots for work so I can’t afford to be without them.

In all honesty I’m glad I bought them, they are very comfortable and seem to be well built except for the one issue I wrote about.

I didn’t want to review boots in a box so I’ve waited a week or two before submitting this. I seen the Facebook ad and just got tired of dropping 300. 00 for boots that lasted 6 months so took a chance and ordered the slip on version.

They came wonderfully packaged as if I bought from a store. Shipping was about a week or so for me. I applied the mink oil right outta the box and it darkened the finish a bit. As with all leather products they were a bit stiff at first but were true to size.

I worried they weren’t gonna be wide enough. My worries were for nothing cause they are perfect. I can’t speak for the longterm longevity as they’ve only been on my feet for 3 weeks but they are comfy.

The insoles are very cushioned and my feet have stayed dry in wet conditions. The ease of sliding the boots on and off my feet and my foot locking into the boot has remained good so far and my knee pain from standing on concrete has disappated.

All in all I would definitely recommend giving these boots a shot and watching your own transformation from skeptic to believer.

So far, so good! I have only had these boots a couple of weeks but so far they are really comfortable, the waterproofing seems legit, the leather seems to be good quality, and they look good. I was concerned at first that they were going to cause blisters due to some minor heel lift and rubbing at the ankle areas but that worked itself out and is no longer an issue.

I have been wearing Chippewa Edgewalkers the past couple of years which are extremely comfortable but they tend to wear quickly which is why I decided to try the Bolducs. I can’t say they are quite as comfortable as the Chippewa boots but they are pretty close once they break in some.

I haven’t had them long enough to make any judgments on their longevity but they seem to be well built and I have no reason to believe they won’t last as long as any other decent brand of boot I’ve owned and I have tried them all.

I would definitely suggest giving them a try. If you don’t care for them Brunt seems to stand by their products and offer a 30 day return policy even after you wear them on the job so really you have nothing to lose by trying them.

These boots have replaced all of my boyfriends casusl workboots. He said that there are many times he doesn’t need steel toes. After 6 months they are still in great shape. The insoles are still comfortable.

The outside is smooth and durable. He walks several miles per day and does alot of moving around outside operating ground equipment. Wow, he never complains about these boots, the soles are still in great shape.

No more “T boots”.

With the 8 inch height the boots give great ankle support. I have worn this brand and model for several years. This pair is slightly smaller than previous pairs I have purchased in the same model and size.

I can still wear them, barely. Overall a good boot that last.

I had problems with my feet hurting from long time standing bending of the toes and such. Mostly I blew my boots out and the pads where not helping me due to boot being wore out. I purchased these boots with hopes that I wasn’t wasting my money due to my feet hurting from medical issues and worn out boots.

Took about 3-4 days of wearing my new Wolverines but my feet slowly but surely went back to almost normal. In past I’d buy boots or shoes and they wouldn’t have enough support so I ended up wasting my money on something I couldn’t wear.

I recommend these they are good in the support and still flexible to feel at ease. Also thanks for the flexibility of the return policy if the boot didn’t work out so good for my feet. I’m happy that they did and will buy again.

I absolutely love these Caterpillar work boots. The comfort of these boots surpasses any other work boots bran I had in the past. They are very well made, with a full grain leather upper, they give you the protection against any electrical hazard, slip-resistant and very durable.

Checks all my needs in a work boot. I would definitely recommend them.
