20 Best Wood For Shed Floor (2023 Updated)

These are great. I looked at reviews for weeks before I settled in on a choice. Some of the reviews people having difficulty snapping them together. Those people got in a hurry and really didn’t l look at what they were doing.

I use them all over the place. They look great by the front door and then a few under the coffee table one or two under the plants. You will have to take time and clean them, they catch all the dog hair and dirt.

You will have to do some staining in the future, may be once a year if there out in the elemental. They are super tough not one has broken and I’ve taken apart a bunch looking for the right look. Put them by the door with lots of traffic and no damage but will have to put a little stain soon.

So if your thing about something like this , GET IT!!!.

These tiles are perfect for my patio! And I love that the treatment that they have makes them a little bit darker than the competitors teak. The contrast is insane with my turf. (Will post updates pictures later) Easy to install.

Feels good to walk and lay on. Overall, VERY happy with this even though I’m not done laying them all out lol As for the missing star: My “but†in the title comes from the price. I selected these because of the value which when placed on my wish list was $48.

99. unfortunately due to corona I have to buy piece by piece for I needed 16 total. I only have 5 and the price has miraculously jumped to $67?!? WHAT?!?! I wish I never started because then I would have chosen a Supplier whose price has been stagnant.

This is a bit frustrating during this time where I was looking to enhance on a STRICT budget. Now. I might have to improvise. Other than that shipped at a decent rate, arrived perfectly, easy to use, and are great quality.

I read a lot of the reviews and saw it was hard to put together so I was prepared. I used a flathead screwdriver and was able to successfully snap the pieces into place in about 20 minutes. Not easier to do and my fingers hurt but it’s looking nice over my porch where I had cracked cement.

Bought 6 months ago. Delivery and install was a breeze. The shed has performed well and features are just right for our use. Doors large enough for rider to go through. Elevated from the ground to prevent vermins and water damage.

Roof and windows are functional. Came with two shelves. Overall it’s a great buy and would definitely endorse.

I purchased the shed and was told it would be installed June 2. After several more dates, it was finally installed September 14. I understand there have been supply issues. That doesn’t excuse calling after the scheduled date to set up a new date.

The shed is fine. I just need to get someone here to finish painting the window.

I purchased this shed last year. It became a fun project for my son and I and was completed in about 32 hours of full time work. Instructions were clear and supplies provided were of good quality, although we purchased higher grade screws.

Easy to build and it withstood the winter with no issues at all. I would highly recommend this shed.

We have installed outdoor tiles before and these were SO EASY to install! A million times easier than the Ikea ones FYI. We did two balconies in like half an hour. Our concrete was flaking off and these tiles look amazing- much nicer quality than we were expecting.

Sent photos to several friends and they want them as well. If you are considering- just do it!.

This interlocking deck tile is super easy to put together. Color is really nice. My only concern is how well it will hold up in the FL elements. Super fast shipping! My balcony looks great!!!

We purchased this shed for a really reasonable price and didn’t expect the greatest quality because of that. but we were pleasantly surprised. It came together nicely and didn’t take as long as expected either, my husband and a friend put it together so took about 2 full days to complete.

The pre-cut pieces were easily installed as well. We still have yet to paint it, but it looks great even unpainted.

I bought this a little over a week ago and it was my first actual building project! I will say the durability alone is amazing on top of straight forward building instructions. I will recommend these sheds to all of my friends and family.

I bought this kit last week. The plans were thorough and had all the pieces needed. All I had to do is buy roofing material and material for the floor. The only complaint is that some of the 2×3’s were a little rough.

Picture looks like they are smooth, but they actually have groves, which is OK. They snap together easily. Like them very much. Came faster then they said. Free delivery by Fed Ex right to our garage.

Using for our large covered porch. Should work great. We will coat with an exterior protective material. Thank you Walmart for the best price we could find anywhere.

I don’t like how it turn out so hard to put in together some pieces is either too small or too big

Initially I received a bunch of boxes with pre-damaged flooring planks, that predominantly being smashed corners and also deep scratches in the planks. The certified flooring Techs from Halifax Flooring kept throwing out bad pieces and showing me the damage right from the box.

This was extremely concerning & frustrating. I would have given y’all a zero star as of then, maybe even a kick in the trousers. Ryan with Cali Bamboo addressed these frustrating concerns and went above and beyond in fixing these QA problems with the damaged product, and found a suitable remedy for the frustration, damages, and shorted inventory to finish the job.

I think y’all need to give Ryan a nice pat on the back, perhaps even a nice bonus or promotion as a merci beaucoup for keeping the customer very happy in a difficult situation. Attah boi Ryan, job well done!! With these dilemmas being addressed properly and consequently pushed out of mind, overall the Cali Geowood is a very beautiful product indeed.

Very lovely flooring with the unbeatable natural look and solid well built density easily outdoing any synthesized pseudo LVP fake patterns any day of the darn week. Room for improvement: I would have imagined the finishing oxide coat to be more scratch resistant to be completely honest.

The floor does scratch much easier than expected. With that being said, finding a way to increase a resin seal of this lovely product with an even stronger finish would make this a world class piece.

I am general contractor who overall loves CALI BAMBOO flooring materials but I am doing a home right now where I’m in process of doing every room in house except the bathrooms and bedrooms. I have completed the large den almost 300 sq.

ft. and I have to say this aged amber geowood floor is the worst I’ve ever touched and installed from cali bamboo. I have had several pieces damaged from opening box for starters but that another story as far as a installers stand point it has been nothing but slow to work with and is not flexible in anyway shape or form ( installers no what I mean ).

It scratches so easily it is straight up nerve racking. I am a contractor who typically really enjoys all the cali bamboo flooring project I do BUT SO FAR not one minute have I with this flooring. It does not go together that easily first of all, then you got the whole scratching process to deal with throughout the job, then as far as when your cutting out the door jamb’s and casing trim for flooring to slide underneath and then having to lock it together NOT SO MUCH ( ROUGH ).

I have taken a break from this project for almost two months now due to other reasons once the Den was completely finished then home owner had some things come up as did I but were both on same page and im getting ready to start back there very soon to install the living room,kitchen,pantry,family room and some closets and I have to say im not looking forward to it at all.

I have so many sample pieces of Cali Bamboo flooring that I share with my customers and help them along in the picking out process and as of right now I will be removing this Oak and Bamboo Geowood flooring out of my sample box.

We had GeoWood bamboo floors installed a year ago in Anchorage, Alaska where we have no climate control during the summers (temps got over 90F last summer) and radiant heat during the winter which dries the house out considerably.

Even so, the flooring has held up beautifully. We have 3 kids and a Labrador retriever who are all hard on floors. There have been no scratches due to claws, and toys, dishes and appliances have been dropped many times and very little scratching.

Any scratches are quickly and seemingly permanently hidden with a little Old English. Our installer had never used GeoWood or any Cali product and said we needed to write a review to let people know how easy the installation was, especially relative to other floating floors he had installed.

Do be careful of water damage. We chose GeoWood for its water resistance, but it isn’t totally waterproof. We had it installed throughout the kitchen and one spot where I have a floor mat got moisture under the mat that sat for a couple of days and there is a little bit of lightening of the wood on the seam of two of the planks where water penetrated.

But if you didn’t know it was there you wouldn’t notice. After a full year of everyday wear and tear, kids coming in and out from snow and ice and no special “babying” of the floors they still look like new.

We would recommend GeoWood bamboo floors to anyone looking for a beautiful, durable wood floor.

Already received multiple complements on the floor. The color, texture and the fact it’s waterproof made it the ideal choice for a beach house remodel. It’s not as scratch resistant as the solid bamboo floors, and moving heavy objects across it might leave a mark if done without care, but the dog that refuses nail trims has been doing his usual dances on it without leaving a trace.

Can’t wait to try out another style for the next project.

Putting this in my entire downstairs. Frustrating because there are differences end to end with the widths of the board- up to 1/16″ sometimes. It makes it so that you have to test and try to fit all the ends one by one to find a match before you can put anything in.

If one end is narrower then your next piece it’s not going to fit cleanly and there will be gaps. I have gaps. I figured this out the hard way. It is something I can hide but still it’s not something I should have to fight with.

Still going to install the floor as it looks acceptable and the end result looks good minus the minor things. I think these sentiments could be only for the eucalyptus. My mother in law did a bamboo product from Cali (installed it themselves) and it looks very good and clean.

The ends look all similar size and there are no gaps; and maybe that’s because the mills are able to fabricate the bamboo to better tolerances. If that’s not the case then the folks over there making the eucalyptus boards need a tune up with quality control.

I’m a tradesman, this stuff isn’t rocket science; but I was under the understanding this is a high end product- and boards are supposed to be much more within tolerances (same) from board to board- and that is a trait of high end products.

My experience is not the case with this material. Furthermore (and this is just the nature of eucalyptus so I’m not so upset) the boards in my situation do tend to warp; both width wise and length wise.

So again, you have to pay attention to what you put in or else you will end up with something you might trip on if you install a board that is concave next to a board that is convex- no joke! I acclimate my boards so lack of acclimation could not be a variable.

This is a floating floor with the Pergo Gold underlayment. Project is going well and we will have a good product when finished; and I’m sure the imperfections will be something that most people would never see.

My wife is happy and therefore I am happy.

I absolutely LOVE these floors in all respect! Having said that, my click floors were professionally installed in January 2019 over concrete that had been leveled & prepped with Cali underlayment. In the rectangular spaces, all is well.

The problem is a long hallway that is a very elongated “Z” shape, so those board edges are cut at other than a 90 degree angle & cannot expand & contract the same as rectangularly-cut boards. These boards are “stuck” by the shape of the walls.

If the interior humidity was always about 35 degrees there would not be an issue, but in the summer when humidity is about 50 degrees, the diagonally-cut boards cannot expand, so they buckle. In the winter with about 20 degree humidity, the same boards contract & spaces open up between boards.

During spring & fall, the floors return to perfect. My solution will be to have my HVAC system retrofitted with both a dehumidifier & a humidifier. Costly, but should solve the problem.

I bought this to replace water-damaged hardwood floor. My expectation wasn’t high, I just wanted to fix the floor as cheaply and quickly as possible. Turned out, this product is genuinely great. Installation is easy (make sure to do the proper prep work), quality of material is quite good, too.

I was surprised by how much I liked it, even over the original floor. I should also mention that it’s proven to be quite durable, too, which was another surprise. Overall, I’m very impressed, it’s a very rare thing nowadays – cheep and cheerful.

If you install floors professionally, installing this wood would be no problem. My husband and I decided to glue this floor down (recommended by a contractor). It is extremely time-consuming and very messy.

If you get any glue on the floor, it is next to impossible to remove. If you are patient and very strong, consider this flooring. If you’re not, go with a floating floor! The floor does look beautiful, though.

I like the color and the texture. It is a bit light, so it needs more cleaning, but it keeps the house bright.

We had this flooring installed not too long ago. We love the color and the destressed look of the floor. I know that some people do not like to see knots or destressing, it looks like real wood not like laminate, but we love it and we love the wide plank.

Looking forward to enjoying the floor for many years.

Had this floor installed in Family Room to replace Stainmaster Carpeting from Lowes. Wanted dog proof flooring. So far, this Timbercraft has stood up to many things (dog related). The only disappointed is the Valley Grove looks nothing like the samples shown on the wall at Lowes.

Much darker and covered everywhere with dark brown knots and spots. Want to refloor rest of house but don’t want to choose same color. Don’t know which color comes without all those dark spots, if ahy, and now will not match family room.

I’m well into it now, so it’s going in our whole house, we’re selling turns out anyways. The step block for knocking chips up the edges if pieces are tough to get tongue and grooved smoothly, I’ve got a bit of curled edge some I got irritated and just decided to burn the piece and use what I could as an end piece on other side of room, and what’s underneath its top layer, recycled compressed cardboard? It’s so expensive but I feel it’s very cheap.

I’m a union new construction plumber. I’m no carpenter but when people come over they ask what carpenter did our install. makes me feel good, direct impact? It’s more durable than I expected. I’m about to do our stairs next 14 stairs 1200$.

just materials. 3000 total for someone to install. ya no thanks I’ll do it.

I have put in 3 other laminate floors through out the years, this is the hardest to put together by far! It doesn’t want to lock and snap together. It physically takes lots of strength to get it together.

Once you got it together it wouldn’t stay locked in place. It’s a beautiful floor by far though! What should have taken one day to install in the past has taken 8 days! I bought this because of the wet protect and I am not sure how well that will work when some of it won’t stay clicked together.

This is a beautiful color, it just needs to be made easier to install. At first I thought it was just us so I hired more help and that felt the same as me. It won’t click and lock well.

Looks exactly like we were hoping. Easy to keep clean. As a first time installer this was the most difficult home project I have ever done (harder than tile, concrete or roofing). It doesn’t help that the planks do not always fit together very well, there was a lot of trial and error before glue down.

If you do it yourself make sure to buy flooring straps, they turned out to be a must.

Built a new house, wanted to go Eco friendly and found this flooring to fit in perfectly for our needs. Sadly after 15 months I couldn’t be more disappointed and my wife and I just wish we went with carpet.

Put down 1000 sq feet and spent thousands. We are sick over the situation. It was installed professionally exactly as Cali recommended. Concrete was fully cured for over 3 months, sealed and glued down with Tightbond products just as Cali recommended.

Humidity in the home is a constant 45% +/-2%. The floor has been cared for exactly as Cali recommended in care and maintenance guide. Many planks for whatever reason are making cracking noises when walking on them and we are now discovering they are coming loose from the floor.

When the sun shines in casting a shadow you can see every single plank that joins together with another is slightly cupping. Tapping on the floor where the cupping is occurring sound hollow, because it is no longer glued down.

Then there are the numerous white streaks appearing all over. Almost looks like someone took a white marker to my floor. You can see its under the finish of the floor, very weird. Lay a flashlight on the floor and you can push down on the but end of any plank and see the plank move up and down.

We NEVER HAVE worn shoes in our home, and have no pets with claws or kids that have damaged the floor in any way shape or form. There are SEVERAL places where the finish has Popped Off, for no reason leaving an unsightly mark as well.

Called Cali and was told NO touch up kit was available for our floor.
