20 Best Women’S Razors For Sensitive Skin Review (2023 Updated)

I figured I’d give Schick Quattro for Women a try since my husband recommended it to me. He used to use Schick Quattro for men till he couldn’t find the right refill blades. Don’t know what the company did but the guys shavers just don’t work as well as they use to.

Recently I decided to shave my beard that had grown pretty thick. I pulled out my Bic Sensitive Shaver to do the job but didn’t get very far after using two razors. So I grabbed a Schick Quattro for women from our medicine cabinet to give this a try.

I couldn’t believe my eyes. I did have to keep rinsing the blade but the shave was really clean. I kept looking for straggler hairs like I would get with my Bic shaver and nothing. I will definitely be a loyal customer as long as they keep this shaver the same.

I’m really happy with this product and highly recommend it.

I bought these because they were out of the Schick Extreme 3 women’s razors I usually use. I wish I had never bought these because they were a waste of money. I went through the whole box just to be sure it wasn’t just one of the razors that were awful.

I didn’t get a close shave at all. I would go over the same area on my legs over and over again and still have hair. I wouldn’t say my hair is thick or course either. Every time I shaved an area I would have to unclog the blades constantly also.

They also seem to be very dull, I was only capable of using them once then had to throw them away. Last night I used the last razor for my underarms and was so upset with how bad it worked. I still have hairs that the razor wouldn’t shave.

I wouldn’t recommend these razors to anyone. Please do not waste money on these. I’ve been using the Schick Extreme 3 razors for years and never had this issue.

If you are prone to reactions and have truly sensitive skin, this is not the razor for you. I bought this razor about 3 weeks ago. After using it over the weekend on my legs, underarms, and my “most sensitive parts”, I began to have this intense itching and the next thing I knew I had a rash and it was as if my skin was recoiling.

My calves were not horribly affected, probably because they aren’t as sensitive and other areas, but everywhere else. I’ve been miserable ever since. My doctor prescribed Zyrtec, Benadryl and a prescription strength hydrocortisone to help minimize the affects.

I’m hoping, I don’t have to take them much longer. I have been going crazy trying to figure out what could be causing it. Then it clicked, and I immediately came here. After reading about similar reactions, well, I’m convinced.

Nothing else in my products, habits, food, detergents, soaps, etc. had changed. And we’re all staying inside these days, so I didn’t have any real opportunity to come into contact with something outside of my home.

Given my circumstances, I cannot recommend this product to anyone. I would never want anyone to go through this misery.

I literally hate this razor. So much so that I’m here writing this review to save other people from buying it. It’s a complete piece of junk. Literally any pressure applied to it while shaving makes the blade pop off and fly around my shower.

I’m talking every single time I use it, the blade is popping off. It has this cumbersome guard (?) around the blade that keeps me from getting into any crevices, so one spot on both my underarms is never fully smooth.

And it nicks my knees every. single. time. I don’t get how it’s THIS bad. I used the old regular Schick Quattro for like 10 years before they recently discontinued it and replaced it with this awful Quattro Silk.

I was trying to get through the giant box of refill blades I bought for this new one but this thing is so awful that I’m just throwing it all away. Money down the drain. Good lord do not buy this thing.

I would use this product and did use this product to shave my legs. (I tried underarm as well and it worked okay) The Gillette Satin Care Ultra Sensitive Women’s Shave Gel succeeded in not irritating my sensitive skin.

It left my legs moisturized, more so than some other companies’ shaving gel, to the point where I wasn’t required to use lotion afterwards. I was aware of the Gillette company, but I was not aware of this product that they offered.

Not a lot of product was needed in order to produce a sufficient enough lather for shaving, meaning that this product can be stretched out and used to last a long time. My only complaint for the product was that after spraying out some the gel, the nozzle where the gel would come out leaked a bit and the gel would trickle out.

That is only a packaging problem though, not an actual complain about the formula itself. Overall, I would recommend this product to others because of its moisturizing effect on the skin and its efficiency in aiding with shaving.

These razors are great! I have KP these help me from having strawberry legs. They have 5 blades which is perfect for some one like me. The ribbon of moisture makes the razor glide on my skin as I shave.

Easy to use, leaves my legs nice silky smooth. I will continue to buy them. #Gillette #VenusRazors.

This is a really great shave gel! I have tried so many and they do NOT all work the same! Some smell great but don’t stick to my skin well enough so it all starts sliding off in the shower. Others are so thick that you have to use more than you should to cover everything! The Gillette Satin Care Ultra Sensitive shave gel had the perfect consistency.

It was nice & thick without being OVERLY thick. It spread easily over my skin, stayed in place during shaving, and made for a REALLY comfortable, close shave. I didn’t have to go over areas multiple times which was nice.

My skin was left feeling silky smooth and moisturized! My husband even tried using it to shave his face as he tends to have sensitive skin and even he loved it. He said that it worked better than the men’s brand that he is currently using! LOL.

I think I’m enjoying shaving now. I like the option to press the button to get cream while shaving. I do not have to get a can first and put it on the areas I need. Keep repeating that sometimes become a headache and then I start to push the day to shave off to another day.

This product gives me a quick and easy shave so I can be on the go. As well I like how there is a option to buy more refills for the base. The razor is very light weight to get on the area you need. It cut with a glide because it’s sharp.

I wouldn’t use it on the private area.

I am upset that I was disappointed with this item. I typically like to shave with mens razors, but I thought I would give this one a try. I found it to be extremely bulky and does not cater do the areas of the body that a woman shaves.

This only reinforced why I like mens razors better, because they get a closer shave and are gentle on curves, unlike this razor. This is not something that women are asking for in a razor and I find the idea and marketing to be a bit silly.

I will end this, however, by saying that this razor may be good when you are in a rush and need to shave in little time.

I love that I do not need a shaving cream with Venus razors. Is helpful when I want to grab it in case I missed a spot or when I am travelling. I like how it is harder to cut myself with Venus as I have sensitive dry skin and I almost always cutting myself if I am not using it.

Venus helps me tremendously in this aspect. I enjoy the variety although I did not have the chance to try them all. The only downside is that is not as effective as male razors and is very expensive.

what a lovely a razor to shave with. you get 1 very close shave with no pulling it just glides right through the hair. I shave daily and still no shaving burn no snagging I’ve used all over my body and had no reaction with it I love the handle its not heavy love how you can buy any venus blades for it.

I’ve even bought the snap by venus for days I’m struggling to hold the handle I’ve multiple health issues and at time struggle so I bought the snap too to help.

Best razor ive bought so far, leaves my skin feel so smooth. And its Pink! My favourite colour. Thats what got my attention and made me buy it. I was after a decent razor after using the cheap ones for so long it was leaving my skin dry and just not getting the job done properly but this razor is a total game changer.

I have bought tons of razors, but haven’t found one that works perfectly for me. I’ve heard many claims of “sensitive”, and they never really seem to make a difference. The Venus Smooth Sensitive and it’s refills seem to work better for me than others I have tried.

Most razors leave my skin red, irritated, and itchy. The Venus Smooth Sensitive seemed to do better than most. After shaving, my skin wasn’t red like usual, but the day after I shave, my legs are still really itchy.

This razor did seem to shave a lot closer than most blades I have tried, and didn’t cut my skin. Overall I think it is a very good razor, but didn’t completely help with my sensitive skin.

I received this Venus Smooth Sentive pack of 4 blade refills for review purpose. I’ve been using Gillette Venus razors for years and I think they’re the best on the market for women. But this Venus Sensitive Smooth isn’t my favorite.

Why? Starting with the fact that they only have 3 blades, not like others that have 4 and 5, which certainly feels better. Also, because they don’t feel smooth at all. I prefer the Venus products that are extra smooth because they do feel soft while shaving.

I recommend it anyways, because still better that most regular razors, but don’t expect it to feel super smooth like other of their products.

I have sensitive skin on my legs, and it’s difficult to shave every day, because my skin ends up very irritated with razor burn, so I was excited to use the Venus Smooth Sensitive razor. I also have coarse hair.

I tried the razor about a week and half after my last shave, so I had a fair bit of hair on my legs. I found that with only three blades and with a pretty narrow blade, I had to go over areas twice at least to remove hair from my legs, which resulted in irritation, even using a fresh razor and my favorite non-irritating shaving cream.

I found the razor to be serviceable, but I prefer other Venus razors with five blades, or the Billie razor that I now use.

I bought this a week ago because the store didn’t have my usual brand. I had used the Intuition years ago when it first came out and didn’t mind it. I’m guessing they changed the ingredients or something because my legs are actually in pain.

I did my usual routine of soaking in a warm bath for a little while before shaving. I got one leg done and was halfway through the second when the first leg started burning and it felt like my skin was being pulled tight, then the other leg started.

Now both legs feel like I rubbed them with sandpaper even after washing them with Aveeno a couple of times, patting them dry and putting on lotion to try and ease the pain. I am not happy. And the real kicker besides the horrible burn is that my legs don’t even feel smooth.

They feel like they have a good days worth of stubble still. If I still had my receipt I would demand a refund.

I bought this because I was curious how it would do and I didn’t like it that much. Cons – It’s hard to hold on to. I think because of the design ( it’s huge ) and because it has a thick moisturizing bar getting all over.

The head is very wobbly and made me think I was going to cut myself. It’s pricey. Pro – You just need to buy cartridges. Surprisingly I didn’t cut myself with it. No razor burn. Lots of lather comes out.

I think this would be good for someone just learning how to shave. Maybe I just don’t have the right technique down but I think razors should be easier to use. I wouldn’t repurchase. Edit – today I felt my legs and they feel very pokey.

This razor didn’t give me a close shave. Had to change the score. Wouldn’t recommend this razor at all.

I bought these to use sitting-down outside of the shower during my 2nd trimester. I’m a plus-size woman and when I popped, I popped, so bending-forward didn’t feel great and soon became impossible the further along my pregnancy progressed.

Instead of trying to bend in the shower, I would sit on a towel on the bed with my razor, a washcloth, and a bowl of water, and would shave my legs that way. Game changer. The shaving cream built into these razor heads made it possible for me to cleanly and easily shave in a way that was more comfortable for me.

I only got razor burn from doing this once, and it was because I didn’t wet my legs enough first. Otherwise, worked like a charm.

These are my favorite razors! I absolutely adore them! They are very sharp and usually get all (or at least most) of the hairs within one glide. The grip on the front for your finger helps quite a bit for precision.

The razors are incredibly sharp! so be very careful when shaving around the ankles, knees, and any other sensitive areas. I have cut myself deeply, completely by accident. They can be a bit pricey but they are worth it.

I usually wait until Costco has them in the larger packs, and buy a bunch of them.

If you have sensitive skin like myself, it’s hard to find a razor that works well and doesn’t irritate your skin, so that’s when I decided to go on the hunt for one that would work better for myself.

That’s when I found these Gillette Venus Simply Sensitive razors, and they are a GAME CHANGER! These work great for my skin! I 100% recommend buying these if you have sensitive skin like myself, you won’t regret it!.

I have used the set of 3 disposables for a while now. I am now on my 3rd razor. they each last a pretty long time. Id shave maybe once or twice max a week. Here and there ill skip a week. so 1 razor can last at least 2 months.

I feel SO smooth after and I dont use any cream or anything. and just like all razors, you have to be careful with the cap. that being said im a clumsy and impatient person, and have never cut myself off this razor.

Im now going to purchase the single and get refills.

I still have been using this razor for a year! Never has it rusted. Even for your girl parts. This is the only razor I will ever use @ DEJAVU20203000.

Love this brand! I honestly, don’t buy any other brand! Even though Venus is a more expensive product, it will save more money in the long run because it lasts forever! I usually use my razor without changing the blades for about a year.

This is an excellent product! It’s great for sensitive skin, and you don’t have to press hard for it to work. I usually use my razor when I’m taking a shower. Its such a good product any kind of body soap will work.

Wow! Wasn’t expecting a disposable razor to give me such a close shave. Legs felt so smooth afterwards even before applying moisturiser and stayed smooth for a good few days. The tropical fragrance is nice but not overly sure what purpose it holds.

I’ve touch though. Lovely colours and made with 60% recycled material! Will definitely buy again!.

I’ll admit. I’m probably one out of a thousand women (maybe more) that shave daily. My friends joke me all the time about how I’m the weirdo who shaves daily (all out of love though) lol. But it doesn’t take me forever to shave either.

With these razors, I can quickly shave with no cuts or razor burn. I’m in and out of the shower in under 10 mins. Of course maybe I’ve become somewhat of a pro with all the years of practice but even if it’s new out of the pack, I can still shave without being overly cautious like other razors.

My daughter is fairly new to shaving and only shaves once or twice a week; she doesn’t even cut her legs with these razors. And they last forever! I’ve never kept up with how often I have to change razors but I’m sure I get two months or more out of one disposable razor.

I don’t know what’s the average life of one of these so I’m just taking a wild guess here.

I love schick razors i love these and the extreme 3. I like using disposable instead cuz theyre more affordable and easier for me. These dont irritate my skin and give a nice close smooth shave too. They are so easy to use and affordable too.

It cost like 6 dollars for a 4 pack at walmart. They dont pull on ur hairs either when u shave lile some do. I like how me legs feel when i use these razors. These are the best disposable razors ive tried and ive tried many.
