20 Best Women’S Bike Under $200 (2023 Updated)

My husband and I started our full time RV living/working remotely journey 9 months ago and travel to new locations every 4-6 weeks. I knew I wanted a bike to enjoy in the RV parks and for our exploring adventures that allow biking.

I had a nice hybrid bike that I had to sell because I developed carpal tunnel and the pressure on my hands leaning down to the handlebars made biking very uncomfortable. I’m also a plus size woman so I took all of this into consideration when researching the right bike for me.

I found the EVRYjourney, and it met all my requirements, and it did not disappoint. I LOVE this bike. The cruiser style fits me well, especially the handlebars, and it was easy to assemble and adjust so that I ride comfortably.

The seat is even comfortable, and I’ve never had a bike before where I didn’t immediately order a new seat. I added the lift off basket and rear rack bag to have plenty of storage for biking essentials and purchases.

We recently biked the 8. 2 miles around Mackinac Island and my EVRYjourney made the ride so easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this bike if you are looking for comfort, style and great quality.

I live in a very humid, tropical environment where sulfur emissions from a prior lava eruption continue to pollute the air and cause everything metal to rust. After our 1960’s Schwinn cruiser bicycles became rusted beyond repair, I searched online for new bikes.

The sixthreezero bicycles looked really cool and the prices were fantastic. I did not expect the quality to be anywhere near as good as it is! It is extremely comfortable and a breeze to pedal also! The paint color is very retro and cool; people compliment the bike whenever I ride Amazingly, TWO years after I have purchased it, my bike has NO rust anywhere! This is practically unheard of in our location! We live 5 blocks from 3-month long active lava eruption that continues to emit sulfur into the air three years later! If I had to say something negative about the bike, I can’t think of anything I would change about it! Their customer service team is top notch! Anytime I email them, they respond almost immediately! I would recommend this bicycle for men and women of all ages.

I am 61yrs old and our teenage neighbor loves my bike as much as I do!.

I researched many bikes and manufacturers before settling on Sixthreezero. My research paid off as this bike is well made, easy to handle and transport and a joy to ride. The bike arrived well packaged by Sixtrhreezero to prevent damage in transit.

The only assembly required was the handlebars, seat and pedals. The instructions were super simple for a novice bike rider. Everything is solid and well made. The paint job is beautiful and stands up well to riding.

I have had my bike for almost a year. The handle bars and seat were simple to adjust. Anyone with either lower back pain or knee pain would find this bike easy to use. I have both and I bought this bike as it was advertised to be easy on both issues.

I was not disappointed. I ride for about an hour at a time and I am not sore or in pain afterwards. There is no leaning over on the handlebars. You can sit up straight. The seat is wide, plush and comfortable.

It provides the needed stability for occasional bikers. There are reflectors in both front and rear and on the pedals. Itnis easy to add lights in back and front for night riding. The rear rack is super useful for carrying those needs items for beach or park.

My family loves this bike! Dismounting is easy too as the front bar is curved down allowing for step in mounting and dismounting. A big favorite for my husband. I would and have recommended this bike and this company to friends and family as the bike is well buolt ans the company super responsive to inquiries.

I bought this bicycle because of the weight capacity. I really enjoy this bicycle but before the 2 weeks of owning this, I started having problems. The 7 speed would shift up but down shifting, it would jump gears.

Started on a 2 mile ride yesterday and the gears started jumping then I had no gears or chain. The chain came apart. So I’m not happy. We contacted firmstrong and they said to take the bicycle to a bike shop and have it repaired.

They said they would reimburse us the repair amount. So, we shall see.

Expectations should align with price, so I knew I wasn’t ordering top-of-the-line equipment. At the same time, I had a basic level of expectation for build integrity. Both wheels arrived out of true requiring an additional $40 in service at a local shop to allow the rims to pass through a functional brake gap.

Otherwise frame, paint and components met expectations. Design is great.

Bought this bike 2 months ago for my wife’s Birthday. She loved it! Classic style and colors were perfect. The quality and customer service provided was excellent. Will be looking soon to upgrade the kids bikes as well!.

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. She wanted a purple beach cruiser and this one fit the bill perfectly. The beach bikes crew have been very up front and helpful if needed. I would certainly recommend this bike and seller to anyone.

After not owning or riding a bicycle for some 50 years, bought an EvryJourney Womens bike from sixthreezero. I cant get over how comfortable and easy the ergonomic riding position and forward pedaling design have allowed me to quickly get back to cycling after all those years.

I ride on smooth paved and very badly maintained roads, with some transition through sandy desert trails. I am able to ride with great confidence on all those surfaces because of the lightweight frame, handlebar design, smooth braking, and wider tires.

While most of the areas I ride are principally flat or of small elevation changes, the 7 speed version of this bike functions so smoothly I have quickly increased my ability to ride longer distances.

While some assembly was required, I did not need to ask my husband to help, instead getting the handlebars and seat installed and fitted to an optimal orientation for my height and reach. I love this bike! It has certainly allowed me to improve my health in a fun way! Thanks 630!.

I bought this bike this summer to use as my main form of transportation. So far I’m pretty happy with this company and the bike I bought. My bike arrived sooner than expected. I didn’t have the patience or engery to assemble it, so I went to my local bike shop.

The shop said that there were no issues putting it together, like missing or broken parts. Customer service is friendly and easy to get a hold of through their facebook group and they answered all questions I had promptly, like the exact measurements of the seat.

Before purchasing, I had took the fit quiz to find my ideal size. I got the evryjourney 24 inch 7 speed bike in teal and it fits perfectly. I’m 4 foot 11 with a short inseam and have had a hard time in the past finding bikes that fit well and don’t look too childish.

The evryjourney has been great so far and I’ve gotten lots of compliments on it’s appearance. I was nervous buying a bike online that I hadn’t seen in person beforehand, but sixthreezero gives you a year to return it if you aren’t happy.

Since it fits well and rides great, I intend on keeping it.

I’m lucky enough to live on a 26 mile long island, so a beach cruiser is a must! I was initially drawn to sixthreezero because of the beautiful design of their bikes. The style is quintessential beach cruiser – big, cushy tires, bright, beachy colors and generous back bike rack for essentials.

I decided on the EVRYjourney in yellow. The color just exudes happiness and good vibes! Their customer service was always super helpful and easy to deal with. I received my bike quickly (which was surprising due to the pandemic) and had it put together by a local bike shop (tools and such are not my jam) and immediately fell in love! The ride is super smooth and easy going.

The gears shift with ease, which is helpful because there is always an island breeze to deal with. The wide seat is very comfortable and has enough give so even the big bumps in the road don’t hurt. The wide position of the handlebars keep you sitting tall, taking the stress out of the lower back.

I recently rode a 26 mile fundraiser in just 2 hours and felt great afterwards! LOVE my bike, LOVE sixthreezero!.

Now that I’ve had my 7-speed Around the Block bike for about 7 months, I can leave an informed review. So far, this bike has served me well! I’ve ridden it extensively, usually for about 3 miles on most trips, going far beyond just around the block.

I’ve ridden on some dirt trails with no issue, but primarily have stuck to black top. I have experienced no negative issues to this point. The customer service has been awesome as well. The company has their own YouTube channel with instructional videos for assembly/tune up.

Great quality videos there. The bike is really comfortable to ride, and I love the color range offered, though I chose the cream color. This turned out to be an awesome purchase. Overall, great bike with amazing customer service.

Hard to find these days.

I LOVE MY BIKE! I had been looking at cruiser bikes for a while. I didn’t want a mountain bike because of my arthritis issues, and I didn’t want a bike with no gears or any style. And then I found this!! I recently moved to a warmer climate and this is the perfect compliment.

It rides like a Cadillac. So comfortable. I even tow my dog and his little trailer behind it. It was a bit of a work to put together as expected, but the instructions were clear. It was nicely packaged.

And they give you the tool you need to do everything. The leather handles are probably my favorite part 🙂 ANNNDDDD it’s not overly heavy. For what it is, it is surprisingly light. Enough for me to even take up to my second story apartment with no help.

Very happy with my purchase from this company. I will buy my next bike from them and I already planned on getting one for my mother. OH OH OH and they sent me a fun pink bell. It’s the little things.

I purchased my single-speed cruiser bike from sixthreezero around May, and I was so excited for it to arrive! The shipping took a little longer than expected, but it was understandable given the circumstances with the pandemic.

When my bike arrived it required a bit of assembly which I was happy about. Assembling my bike made me overjoyed with nostalgia as my childhood friends and I spent our summers working on our BMX bikes, but worry not, the instructions were clear and would be great for any level of skill.

The tools for assembling my bike were awesome, and I actually keep the multi-tool in my toolbox now! There was even a mini nail polish bottle with the yellow paint for my bike in case of scratches—what a thoughtful addition.

The quality seriously shows, and I’m completely in love with it. This bike reminds me of growing up in Florida and seeing all the beach cruisers up and down the boardwalks. If you’re on the fence, have confidence knowing that the bike is extremely high quality, customer service is amazing, you’re supporting a small business, and your purchase goes to a long-lasting product you won’t be replacing anytime soon.

This bike is pretty darn cool! I bought it for my 13 year old daughter. She’s about 5’1″ and it seems to fit her ok. It showed up early and my husband and daughter put it together in about 20 minutes.

It rides smooth so far and it is just the cutest bike. It reminds me of carefree summer days at the beach. My teenage son, who thinks everything is stupid, described it as “pretty dope”. My Dad came over and immediately noticed it parked in our driveway and commented on how cool it looked.

I caught him walking around it, checking it out like a classic car. Pretty funny. Assuming it continues to ride well, I’d highly recommend this bike. It’s making my current creaky old “Ms. Hollywood” Schwinn look pretty stanky so I’m thinking about buying one for myself in the future.

I was super excited to purchase and receive this bicycle. When I received it from FedEx the box was slightly damaged. The front wheel reflector was broken when I took it out of the box to assemble it.

I called Huffy and they were great in sending me a new reflector. I was only able to ride it less than ten times in a month’s time from purchasing it at the end of June 2017. After noticing the rear tire deflated.

I went to the gas station to fill it with air and rode it that very evening for 2. 5 miles. Then stored thw bike on my porch and. 30 minutes later the tire is flat. Huffy was great again and sent me a new inner tube.

After replacing the original. Took the bike to the gas station again and now before my very eyes the tire deflated again. I went with Huffy because they have been around for 125 years and as a kid, I loved my banana seat bike that was a Huffy.

That bike took me everywhere. It has been 40 years since my first Huffy, and I am very disappointed that the quality is not there as it was then as I had such high hopes to relive a tiny piece of my childhood.

As someone who actually bought this bike from Walmart and had the whole buying and assembling experience as opposed to all of the other reviews who were part of a promotion, I would not buy this bike again.

Buying a bike from Walmart is insanely awful! I made the mistake of trying to buy a bike on the same trip as groceries, thinking that an employee would help me get it to my car especially as I have small children.

The only remotely helpful person in the entire store was the man who got it out of the stock room for me. And there were no assembled bikes in the store so I did not get to try it first. It says it is for 5 ft 2 and up but I am 5 ft 3 and it is too big! It also was not assembled and though the actual bike tags say that they will put it together for free, they do NOT! In the past I have put together plenty of furniture even with IKEA instructions without any problems so I didnt think that this could be that difficult.

but I was once again wrong. it was! The instructions are not specific for the bike you buy so there are sections that do not even apply and the pictures only show small sections, not how it fits in the big picture.

It took hours!!! And the seat is still wonky and will not stay straight. If I received the bike fully assembled and bought it from a store with employees who actually wanted to work while at their jobs then it would probably be a 4 star bike but the buying experience was not worth the money saved!.

Bought for our son’s birthday. Tires were low-filled the front tire to the recommended 40psi. Started to fill the rear tire and got to 38psi and the tube exploded. Returned to Academy, and they graciously exchanged.

The 2nd bike was not tuned at all. The shifters were not usable and thus, the bike could not be ridden. It looks like I will have to pay a bike shop to tune it up. Maybe that is normal nowadays, but every bike I’ve previously purchased (including from academy) came apparently tuned and worked fine.

I bought this bike yesterday at Academy Sports, and I already had to return it. Everything about the bike is great except the top bar. It is not slanted like a normal women’s bike. It is higher therefore a person who isn’t taller than probably 5’5 cant touch the ground.

Dumbest design ever. A 24 inch bike is too small and by placing a bar like this for a 26 inch bike you are completely leaving a majority of women that will be able to ride this bike.

Bought online. Quick delivery however video provided didn’t cover this model. Put together and when riding chain was catching on the side and front wheel wasn’t moving smoothly. Took into the local Halfords who made some gear and brake adjustments on the spot which was great.

All seems good now but still early days.

I bought two of these after reading various reviews. They are built like tanks. I have no doubt they will last a very, very long time. The bikes are attractive, and have enough features that it’s amazing to me that they can be sold for this price.

Unpacking and setup took less than 20 minutes for both bikes, with the exception of adjusting the breaks and inflating the tires (more on these later). Do yourself a favor and don’t bother reading the assembly directions, Schwinn now writes generic directions that supposedly fit all their bikes, and you’ll save time if you just put them together.

On the flip side, adjusting the breaks is a nightmare. They just aren’t even close to being right from the factory. Of the two bikes, each one had a rim that was out of true. It’s best to have a spoke wrench handy.

On one bike, the bead was broken on one tire and it kept popping off the rim while inflating it. I went through 2 tubes before taking it to my local bike shop and having them replace the tire [and buying a second tube (yes, I know that’s 3 tubes, but the first one came with the bike)].

I could have taken it back to Wal-Mart or called Schwinn of course, but I wanted to ride the same day. Now that everything is tweaked, I’m very pleased with the purchase. But, even though you can get one of these bikes from in the box to on the road in 10 minutes, don’t think it won’t take a good half hour [or more] to get it right.

Only owned this for a month now, so I hope it wont fall apart after I submit this review. I have rode it 55 miles thus far in fierce winter conditions. Compared to a $400 bike that was stolen on me; this bike is VERY similar.

I did not want to spend $400-600 on a new bike just to risk it being stolen again. The gears shift well, and have the same expensive look/feel of the old bike. The brakes (same as old bike) work fantastic.

Gears/brakes come pre-assembled. thank god. Assembly time takes less than an hour. The bike handles well and goes fast on the road and busted sidewalks. Seems to handle any terrain well, even an inch of snow.

Tires and rims have a nice look and solid feel. Seat very sturdy and comfortable. Handlebars are nicely shaped, though the grips aren’t too great and the front shocks seem very sensitive, they are still nice to have.

If you want a decent speedy bike that can handle any terrain and don’t want to spend a fortune on something that might get stolen: give this white steel a shot.

I haven’t ridden a bike in years and I wanted one that was versatile because I live in a somewhat rural community. I also wanted a bike that was simple with no trendy colors or bling. Schwinn is a great name in bikes, so that part was easy.

I was a bit concerned about the 21 speeds and learning the gears, but the shifter is so easy on this and it makes sense to me. I don’t know if all shifters are like this one now, but I love that it’s just a simple turn of the shifter ring that wraps around the handlebar.

It’s a great design! The bike is super comfortable and the shocks really work. My hubby, who is an avid cyclist, test rode it for me and he thought it was really, really nice. The price was fair in comparison to all other bikes and I think the value is excellent.

Setup was so easy because Walmart did it for me free, I just brought it in with my receipt and it was done the same day. I am very happy with it, good luck to you!.

The instructions are not very specific. I had to figure out how to put the front Springer fork and fender all on the same wheel peg. It was not easy. And it took forever. But it is a beautiful cruiser.

And a quality bicycle. The saddle is comfortable and pretty too.

We received 4 beach cruisers quickly and the setup was relatively easy. We did discover some issues with the bikes (a few missing parts, a leaking tube and a bent seat) but the company has been very communicative and shipped replacement parts quickly and gratis.

I love the bike!! It is super comfortable on long rides around the neighborhood with my 3 children!!

I am disabled and not entirely mobile due to my cancer (which is now in remission) so I’ve not been on a bicycle in a while. I decided I wanted to try and get back out there because I always enjoy riding a bike.

This is the one I settled on after trying every bike in the store (at a few different stores too) and I am very happy with my choice. First, it’s easy to get on. My mobility issues are with my leg function so being able to easily swing my leg over was imperative.

This bike is also not very high off the ground either which is comforting. I’ve replaced the seat with one with more cushion but otherwise this bike is exactly what I wanted.

I bought this in July for my wife. After 2. 5 hours I couldn’t get the brakes adjusted properly and the gears were grinding like crazy out of the box. If I wanted the bike to stop, the brakes were rubbing during normal operation.

The chain travel was so great, the chain would nearly derail when you shifted into high on the front gears. I had to pay a bike shop to adjust everything. They ended up having to replace the rear index shifter cables because Huffy used brake cables.

They said there was hardly any lubrication and the bearings would’ve been wrecked in short order. It cost an additional $100 for all the adjustments, tightening, lubrication, parts replacements, etc.

The bike works well now. I’ll be contacting Huffy about the cost of the replacement parts.

Upon receiving the bike, I was instantly disappointed. When I ordered the bike, the description said it was purple, but the bike itself was blue. The front wheel was bent. I also had issues with the brakes, as well the steering.

Something in upper column where the handle bars attach broke inside. So disappointed that I spent all this money on a bicycle, waited for months, and it was broken. Now to get it fixed at a bike shop will be months because they are so busy, so I am still without a bike.

Very disappointed and frustrated.

This is a great “looking” bike. Classy color in the Champagne pink. With a few nice “features” like the iphone holder and cup holder. However, it is frought with problems. First off is the fact that the chain rubs against the tire, creating drag on the wheel, and likely to cause a hole in the tire.

Once that was fixed, at least temporarily, we found that the there is significant drag on the brakes and they don’t stop well. Of the 7 gears, only 3 of the five would work to actually change the pedaling pressure to make it easier to go up hills.

(And even then the change in gear pressure wasn’t significant enough to make a difference in the pedaling. ) My husband brought it to a bike mechanic to get these items fixed and then we noticed there is a significant “wobble” in the wheels.

We followed a u-tube video to “true” the spokes, which helped but when I look down at the tires while riding, I noticed the front wheel still wobbles. Not sure of the significance of the wobble on performance, but something tells me it’s not right.

I haven’t decided whether to keep it yet, as I need a bike but I am tired of buying them and dealing with all of the problems. My impression of the Schwinn’s I bought at Walmart and this Kent bike is that they are a bunch of parts that aren’t meant to go together.

Parts are manufactured outside the US and I don’t think that there is any engineer overseeing the quality exists for a working and reliable bike exists. I hope Walmart starts seeing these reviews and puts some pressure on the manufacturers.

I purchased this bike at the end of April and absolutely love the look, it’s so cute!! I’ve been really disappointed about the amount of issues I have had. The front wheel shakes when riding, the chain falls off when it goes into first gear, all the reflectors have fallen off.

The bike is currently stuck in 7th gear and I cannot get it back down. It’s been too much work for the amount I paid and it only being 2months old. It’s been rode maybe 10 miles because there’s always an issue that pops up when I get going.

I’m sad I’m going to have to end up returning it! I would recommend this bike moving forward but to be very cautious when buying it.

I do love this bike but I was not happy by the main part to the handle bars being striped to the point where I cannot ride it without the handlebars falling down. I did reach out to Kent where I got immediate assistance and my part to fix this issue will arrive in a couple days.

It was also very difficult for me to put the bike together, you do not get any tools even though you need tools, and specific tools to put the bike together ( wrench, allen keys etc. ) and you will be dealing with brakes so I do recommend having a professional put your bike together but I will say inside the box I got a card from kent stating if you bring the bike to Walmart they will put it together for free- so don’t buy the 65 dollar fee to put your bike together because ITS FREE! I do wish that the bike didn’t take so long to be delivered but I realize that COVID has messed up the ease of buying a bike.

I would estimate about 2-3 weeks it took to receive my bike from the date of order. Now on a good note- the seat is super comfy!! The bike itself rides smoothly and the color is beautiful. I will say that I thought this bike would be too tall for me being I am 5’1 and this height was recommended for 5’2 and up but on the lowest position and you are able to tilt the seat forward too, I was able to sit on the bike and hold myself up off the floor without falling.

So overall I gave this bike a 4/5.

I was a little concerned when my bike came with a large tear in the box. Everything looked to be complete in it though. I was unable to assemble the bike myself so I paid a local bike shop $100 to assemble it for me.

Worth the headache to me! She rides smooth and is easy pedal. The seat is the most comfortable bike seat I have ever sat on. I just took it out for a spin for the first time this morning and can’t wait until the weather is cooler so I can enjoy my new Ridgeway some more!.

If I could get it assembled. It’s been two days and I still haven’t been able to complete the assembly. If it’d have come with the brakes fully assembled. I followed the instructions, but something didn’t work right and now the front brake wire is stuck in the handle bar, unattached.

It came loose after I assembled it. With something as important as brakes, I’d think they should have been fully preassembled. If the required tools were included. I don’t have all the tools that it says I need.

There doesn’t seem to be any tools included although the instructions say they are.

I’m really happy with how well this bike performed. It felt like I was gliding along the pavement truly awesome! Also, the rear rack it such a necessity people who actually ride bikes often should understand what I mean that sometimes you don’t know how badly they are needed.

Fender to tire makes a rubbing loud scratching noise. I’ve tried many times to adjust it but nothing seems to help. It’s so annoying. The seat keeps falling backwards and forwards. Ugh! So UNcomfortable! I tried adjusting that with a tool and it helps for awhile but it just keeps happening again.

My husband also tried adjusting fender to tire and moving seat but nothing seemed to help for long. Wish I had returned it instead of keeping it.

This is exactly what I am looking for!! A bike that actually provides something meaningful. I appreciate how I can live an active lifestyle while supporting research to find a cure for breast cancer.

DO NOT ORDER THIS BIKE! In early September 2022 I ordered the bike on Walmart’s site. It came damaged–not from shipping but from the manufacturer. The back fender was severely dented and pressed up against the tire, the nut between the handle bars and the head tube was so tight that the handle bars wouldn’t turn.

I was unable to loosen it at all. I returned the bike and ordered a SECOND bike, hoping the issues were a manufacturing fluke. However, the second bike arrived yesterday and the frame was bent which subsequently caused a bend in the derailleur.

The rear reflector was broken. And to top it off, the spokes were so misaligned that the front wheel deflected at least a 1/2 inch on either side. This manufacturer has some serious quality control issues–as in they don’t have ANY quality control.

Walmart, you should do a better job selecting the vendors you use. By the way, the yellow of the bike is not pastel as implied in the photo–it is a very bright, almost fluorescent yellow.

In my sheerest opinion, this bike is NOT for an extremly obese person weighing over 300, lbs and taller than 5″ 4, as the seat if not really tightened will keep sliding down; however , the crunch of the ride was not as bad, consequently I am healing in the hips, so it was a little pain there.

I LOVED this bikes color and extras , the baskets, the cup holder ( would have been better with an extended enclosed bottom) , Nope, wont try to ride with my phone in the suspect phone holder. Humm. I even imagined putting mirrors on the gal.

MAIN NOTE AND WHY THIS ONE GEAR BIKE GETS ONE STAR,,,,, I DONT LIKE THE FACT ITS SINGLE GEAR. I HAD SO MUCH TROUBLE TRYING TO GO FORWARD ON THIS THING, AND I HAVE BEEN RIDING BIKES SINCE PRESCHOOL, AND IM IN FIRST GRADE NOW.

NAW (lol) JUST KIDDING BUT THE RIDE IS HORRIBLE UNTIL YOU GET USED TO IT. If you choose to purchase this bike just know you may need to raise and tighten the seat and handle bars and secure all baskets.

In addition , make sure you will have enough leg room and know how to rotate the paddles forward, as it stops when the paddles rotate backwards. Safety first. Grab a helmet and what ever protective gear you need and enjoy your life to the fullest , and enjoy your ride.

This is the cutest, darn cruiser! It does not have any gears, so I do all the work. I love to ride my bike on the greenway. I have to rush to get home before sundown because I am having so much fun. I have ridden over 110 miles on it.

I have had 0 problems. The seat is comfortable and I am able to sit upright. I have sciatica issues and this allows me to exercise without pain. The baskets and pouches are extra convenient too. Now I will be getting a bell and lights for it.

I am in my 50s, overweight (about 200 lbs. ), and this is helping me stay fit. The bike feels sturdy and seems like it will last a long time.

I will start by saying that I don’t think my experience is the same as everyone’s, and I know that the bikes are not low quality as we bought this bike, a bike for my wife, and a trailer to pull our two kids.

We got the bikes and trailer, and I put them together, seemingly without issue. We were able to test the bikes, and again no issue with the low stress test, everything seemed in order. The first time I added the trailer the added stress was too much for the bike, and the entire rear derailleur fell off mid ride.

When I reached out to customer support, I was told that, “our derailleurs do sometime require adjustment right out of the box due to being bumped around during shipping. ” Which I understand as I spen two years in college assembling bikes for a sporting good store.

While I understand that different parts of the bike require adjustments out of the box, a derailleur falling of a bike does is not a normal thing for a bike to do out of the box. When I was taking pictures of the damage for customer support I noticed multiple threads were worn bare which should not come from less than a week of owning the bike and less than 2 miles of riding it.

After the back and forth with customer support all that was offered was a replacement hanger and derailleur which are not easy installs and would require to pay to have it installed or take the time to do it myself.

The communication from customer support was slow, taking multiple hours to respond to each message, and one time taking more than 24 hours. While I understand that sometimes bad products ship, how it was very frustrating and disappointing to say the least.

You get what you pay for. And then China kicks in. It’s okay quality and will last two years I guess – and that is what we planned. The frame is low. If you don’t know about bikes and how to fix them you should not expect this to work right away- the brakes are rather cheap and you need to adjust them.

There are tons of videos about it. My bike came with some rusted parts but I figured it out- don’t forget about the price point. Also you need to grease up all the parts and the brake lines of course – just to manage expectations.

The tools are provided except of the saddle part that won’t fit. Anyway there is no cheaper way to get a ride… also my first bike came totally smashed up and the rear derailleur was bend – as well as the wheel and the frame- but customer support was spot on I have to say! Not their fault but I got a new bike that was okay!.

After assembling the bike, I took it out for a test ride. The gears didn’t shift property from the start, only the right gears were responding. After a couple minutes riding around the block, shifting gears and trying out the breaks.

The bike abruptly catches, almost flying me OTB. Taking a closer look, I saw that the rear derailleur had completely bent after getting caught in the rear tire. My only thought is that the factory might have put it together incorrectly?.

All around a great experience, prompt delivery and easy assembly However the claimed professional pre assembly left a few things out. Front wheel was warped and required truing, front brakes required adjustment and the front and rear gear derailleurs needed much fiddling and adjustment to allow correct gear changing.

I would have thought all these items would have been taken care of by the pre build technician?.

Overall the built of the bike is good, packaging was very good. Few issues: A) The size is bigger than advertised B) the handle doesn’t stay in position all the time – despite tightening the screw as much as I can, it’s a bit lose so gets out of alignment with easily if there’s a shock/**** and c) minor but it wasn’t clear while ordering that the bike would be delivered a month back.

Making that delivery date clearer at time if checkout would be helpful. Otherwise, the bike is solidly built – good material/parts.
