I purchased this rubber cement since it was $3. 00 cheaper than other Unknown brands. The Slime name seems to be good with other tire products. This is my first Slime purchase but don’t anticipate any problem.

I’m using it to seal the tire bead when I mount the tire.

I bought this Slime rubber cement because the little tube of glue that you get with tire repair kits always runs out before you run out of plugs. I use a lot of cement per plug to lube up the plug thoroughly.

I used the Cement several times on my own cars, bikes, mower, and such. It worked great so I bought another can.

Same product as for patching bike inner tubes. This is the bulk value of the small tubes that come with the patch kits. This is the best price too. You won’t find a better price than this, all shipping fees and everything.

We bought this Wok for Mothers day, and we’re so glad we did. It heats up quickly on my induction range, right up the sides. It cools the higher you go as intended. The textured sides act like the hand hammered wok and hold onto your foods.

The seasoning as it came out of the box is perfect, nothing sticks. The handles stay cool too. I would suspect they would heat up if left on the heat long enough, but so far so good. Stick it in the sink under running water, and use a brush to clean it.

Dry it thoroughly, heat it up, and oil it for the next use.

This is cast iron, so it is heavy which means I stir NOT shake it when stir frying. It is the perfect size for a wok with enough room to stir food and to push food up its side. I have a collection of Lodge cast iron pieces, including 3 skillets from the Lodge Blacklock line.

This wok has the smoothest finish compared to all my other Lodge pieces. I bought the Lodge GL 10 glass lid to use with this wok. This lid has 2 lips. The lower lip fits on this wok so the lid sits high.

I wish Lodge makes a true-fitting carbon steel lid for this wok in the future. Thus far, I had used this wok to stir fry, braise and simmer food. I only had it for a month. I like this wok very much.

When cooking for one person or two, the Lodge 9-inch cast-iron mini-wok is wonderful. It can actually be used for high-heat stir frying, and for general cooking needs. I have used it for frying eggs, fish, and fried rice.

Even when using an electric burner which is set to three-fourths of the heat range, the cooking temperature is hot enough to easily burn food which is not being stirred. So, stir it! This is real stir fry.

The flavor is delicious. Its interior is not fully bowl-shaped, because there is 3-inch flat disk, on the cooking surface. I am trying to find the ideal spatula for it, because typical wok spatulas are too wide and have the wrong curvature.

For now, I am using a totally-flat 11-inch olive-wood spatula, which is almost ideal, but it is charring, from exposure to the hot stir-fry temperatures. This wok weighs 4. 9 pounds, so it heats up much faster than the larger 12-inch and 14-inch cast-iron woks.

It also cools faster, after cooking is finished. After cooking, allow it to cool, rinse it out (with hot water and a sponge or stiff brush), and smear a very, very thin layer of any cooking oil all over it.

I bought this as a gift for Christmas for myself and it hasn’t disappointed! With a gas stovetop it works really great and holds its heat very well so that sauces reduce quickly and proteins and vegetables get a nice caramelization! I have never been more into being in the kitchen! It’s also lightweight which is nice so you can stir the ingredients easily as a wok is a 2 hand job.

Really love this piece! 5 out of 5 would recommend.

This wok was bought to cater to the needs of an Asian food loving Family. We are able to grill, steam, stir fry without having to change our equipment. I was able to also steam dumplings in a pot kept on this wok.

SUMMARY: Great starter wok! Sturdy construction, good wok shape, non-stick surface works great. I think trying to start out in stir-fry with a carbon steel wok is an invitation to frustration. LONG BORING VERSION: Purists say you simply MUST use a carbon steel wok in order to use the high heat required for stir fry.

But if someone has not done their research, they have no idea how to get a carbon steel wok ready to use and maintain its seasoning and keep it from rusting. If you want to do that research and try anyway, go for it.

I am happy to stick with a non-stick wok for now and the foreseeable future. (See what I did there?) I think a good non-stick wok will will handle high enough heat for practical use, but it does require some accommodation.

One thing is to heat the wok (or any non-stick pan) up on medium heat then turn it up; do not just blast it with super high heat right off the bat. A lot of stir fry recipes say something like “Heat the wok until it is smoking…” They are talking about a seasoned carbon steel wok, and the smoke is a bit of the seasoning vaporizing.

I would never try that with this wok. If you ever heat a dry non-stick pan of any kind until it smokes, the smoke you see is the coating breaking down! But in my experience you can get excellent results at temperatures safe for this wok.

After failing miserably at Chinese cooking 30-40 years ago because of a carbon steel wok debacle I threw up my hands and forgot about it. But I love the cuisine so much I have been really getting interested in Asian cooking, particularly Chinese, for a while now, and my daughter gave me this wok for my recent birthday.

I had been thinking about getting one, so I really appreciated it, and I have to say I LOVE it! This wok has a sturdy heft to it unlike some very light non-stick woks that feel like they will dent at the slightest bump.

It also has a “helper” handle in front for better control when pouring if needed. One especially nice feature is the relatively small flat on the bottom. Some flat bottom woks have a large flat which to me seems like it would slightly inhibit getting a nice smooth stir fry stroke going.

The flat on the outside is large enough to be stable on a flat burner surface, but on the inside it is barely perceptible so even though it has a flat bottom, it still feels and performs like a round-bottom wok.

The package says this wok is dishwasher safe and that you can use metal utensils except things like knives and other sharp edges or points. I will NEVER do either. It cleans so easily there is no need to put it in the dishwasher, and why risk damaging it with metal.

There are plenty of inexpensive wood, bamboo, and even plastic/silicone coated wok spatulas. Do plan get one of those; you really need the wide curved front to get a good stir fry action. You can certainly use a large plastic or wooden spoon or spatula, but neither does the job quite as well.

We always try to cut down on calories so I prefer using non-stick pans and much less oil than recipes call for. This pan has been great for that. I am able to get a nice sear on meat with a very small amount of oil.

I might be able to do it with no oil at all, and I may try that at some point. When it comes to any piece of equipment I figure the day I feel like it is the equipment that is keeping me from improving I will buy better stuff.

I prefer to start off with less expensive decent quality equipment to learn on and decide if I need anything better after I have learned what I am doing. If I cannot take good pictures with a $100-200 camera, I probably will not do any better with a $5000 camera.

If I fix decent Chinese dishes with this wok a carbon steel wok is not likely to make me any better. I have a feeling I will be using this wok a long time. Besides, it is inexpensive enough that if I mess it up in a couple of years I will buy another one.

Before purchasing this one, I used to use Lodge cast iron pan and Cuisinart frying pan. Now I use almost only this wok for every thing. Very nice size. Cook perfectly. Easy to clean. Now more oil splash.

Nice sized wok. I’ve been looking for one for some time now. T-Fal makes great kitchen cookware. The Titanium series is the best because it’s non-scratch and non-stick, however this works just fine if you use a wooden spatula.

I wish it did come with a cover though.

Best wok I ever owned. An absolute must for stir fry oriental cooking. Takes a lot of heat, time, and oil to get a good seasoning but once you get it you have the best cooking tool you will ever own.

I used coconut oil and a propane burner and in less than two hours I had a pretty good carbon coating. It makes a lot of smoke and your clothes will need to go right into the laundry but the carbon coating essential to a good wok.

I used a shovel oil and high heat to boil the oil down to a black scorched Smokey liquid that eventually sticks. I suggest using a fan and or respirator or holding your breath a lot between stirring in new oil and dodging flames.

Sounds like a lot of work, and it is, but once you get that nice even layer of carbon its a perfect wok. With a good burner you can cook like a real master Oriental chef. My old wok from the hood will store was good.

And I had plenty of others but nothing like this18″ beauty. The size and shape makes cooking a breeze. I would recommend a good wok shovel to stir with and get a bunch of peanut oil or whatever you prefer to cook with.

This is a genuine traditional round bottom steel wok. Use a good degreaser not just dish soap on your new wok. The dried oil from the factory hammering is not something that will add any good flavor.

Clean the bottom too because all that oil will smoke and stink like crazy when you try to season your wok. You can wipe a little oil on the outside later once you get the inside seasoned to prevent any rust.

Get a shovel and a good lid, lots or ginger and garlic and enjoy.

I like using this wok. If you’re into oriental cooking this will do it well. I only have 2 complaints and they’re minor. 1. The handles get hot, be careful. 2. I would like to see the sides a little more shallow so you can pull your food out of the cooking oil and let it drain as you finish cooking it.

Don’t let these complaint dissuade you. I would buy this wok again. I do also recommend you buy traditional wok utensils as they work better in the wok.

I is well made! has the hammer marks. I will be using my Wok on a turkey fryer gas base. A home stove can’t put out the BTU’s for a wok. GAS or ELECTRIC. But the propane turkey cooker can! 16″ wok fits well on it.

don’t use soap on the WOK. just hot water. keep it oiled! inside and out. very light coat. Many people before first time you use it use corn or peanut oil and bake it at say 300F for 1 hour. BUT it will SMOKE YOU OUT! better on a gas grill if it will fit(cover down).

or a Weber grill (charcoal) not a big fire. say after you grill your food. Its like the OLD cast iron fry pans. More times to use them they get darker and more non stick. you may need a fire ring??? good for after you take it off the flame to serve.

One day I’m singing along to New Kids On The Block, their newest single Hanging Tough playing on my favorite pop radio station. Me and my friends call in every hour to request it, taping it off the radio until we can save up enough babysitting money to buy the CD.

And suddenly I’m thinking to myself, ‘Wow, Consumer Reports was right. This ROCK pan IS dope!’ When did I first realize I have a favorite burner on the stove? Why is cookware organization so exciting? When did I get so old? I don’t know.

Here’s what I do know. Consumer Reports gave this pan a great review and I totally see why. It’s like if a non-stick pan and a cast iron pan had a love child. It heats evenly and won’t warp just like you’d expect from a cast iron, and heats quickly while absolutely nothing sticks to it like a non-stick.

Not only is cooking a little faster and easier, but the clean up is seconds-long. It’s my favorite pan. And I bought another and gave it as a gift. Then bought a third because it was bigger and has a lid.

Life comes at you fast.

Purchased this pan in 2017. It worked Great for the first 2 years. I cooked everything in it trying to be oil free. After that it slowly started to loose its inside lining and foods were sticking. It has not been non-stick for over a year and half and is trash.

The warranty when I purchased it was for 10 years. I wrote to the manufacturer and of course like almost all insurances, they claimed that I used the pan on “high heat” and that I used metal inside, so the warranty is no good.

I never did use metal, and I really don’t know what good a pan is if you can’t use it on your stove top. The pan is good if you expect to fill the garbage dump after 2 years of use.

Hopes were high when I saw this pan listed. I had been using a teflon pan that was too large for the small breakfast for which it had been used. I saw the commercial for this pan and it seemed to be a nice substitute for the teflon pan, and it was right sized for what I needed.

Out of habit, I sprayed the pan with oil before using it in the first few weeks I had it and was disappointed to find that when I put egg whites into the mixture, they immediately stuck to the pan. However, the size and weight for this pan was right and so I continued to use it.

Then I saw the commercial again, where it was indicated that a spray was not needed. So, I decided with my next breakfast meal to heat the pan and put in my breakfast mixture. All seemed to be going as it had, but when I poured in the egg whites I could see that they were immediately burning and sticking to the pan.

The worst part was cleaning it. It took plenty of scrubbing power, after scraping the pan with a plastic spatula, to get it cleaned. I admit that it’s possible I had the flame on too high. but come on, aren’t skillets made to take all levels of heat? I will keep the pan as a backup to the same sized real teflon pan that will certainly replace it.

comes with a lacquer coating which I can’t imagine could be healthy if it gets in your food. and it’s very difficult to get off, I scrubbed it in hot water, boiled water in it scrubbed it with hot soapy water and a scrubber still could not get all the lacquer off, never had to work so hard just to get to the point where I could season it, also also the lacquer stank as it was being burned on the bottom.

could not figure how to remove second handle so I was afraid to put it in the oven on cleaning mode.

Nice quality carbon steel wok. It is round bottomed and wobbles a bit on my gas stove. I’m planning to use a wok ring to stabilize it. The wooden handles are sturdy and I love the design.

Best wok I ever had. Once properly seasoned, it developed excellent nonstick qualities. It has become perhaps the most frequently used cocking tool for me.

I’ve bought this round-bottom wok (_ Hu’, __ Ch_o hu’, __ Ch_o gu_) as a gift for someone with no stir-frying experience, and was afraid that the wok might not get seasoned properly were I to gift it in its original shape.

I did run into a small problem of my own, however, in that I currently live in an apartment with an electric range which makes it impossible for me to season the wok using the traditional gas stove’techniques.

Turns out gas stove is not necessary, and in this case, when I was done, I began to feel that unless you have a powerful gas furnace, you might be better off seasoning in an oven anyway. The result at the end of the process was awesome, and the wok looked spectacularly beautiful so much so that it could be used for decoration.

Hopefully, the pictures will do it justice. The Mammafong (___ M_m_ F_ng) wok is one of the nicest woks I have seen in a long time. It’s made of 16-gauge carbon steel. You may wonder which gauge steel is optimal for stir-frying.

Well, in a commercial setting with crazy-hot burners you’ll run into thinner 17-to-18-gauge woks. For home use, several highly-rated Amazon vendors tout the benefits of 14-gauge steel as it retains the heat better due to its increased thickness.

I feel that 14-gauge is a little too thick as it takes too long for my taste to heat up and too slow to cool down, plus it weighs more which might make it more difficult for some to handle. The Mammafong wok is right smack in the middle where it needs to be at 16.

About size. In as much as a 14-inch wok appears to be well-, if not best-suited for a regular-size Western range, I hope that one day Mammafong will carry the same line-up of woks in 16 inches. I have a lot of mouths to cook for.

🙂 The wok, just like the vast majority of others, comes with protective oil that needs to be removed (see the seasoning instructions above). What I didn’t like was that the inside of the metal tube that holds the wooden handle was not protected.

I had to wiggle the handle multiple times to be able to dislodge it from the wok, and when I finally did, I discovered there was some rust on the wood as well. A minor issue that does not affect my overwhelmingly positive feelings about this wok, but still room for improvement.

On a related note, I would love for Mammafong to start selling handle replacement kits (one handle and two Phillips screws). I expect the handles to become damaged over time, and I would love to have perfect original replacements ready for deployment as soon as needed.

Another great product to develop would be a wok adapter for barbecue grills. As far as I know one doesn’t exist as of today (October 2019). The wok heats up fast and evenly, with the heat coming all the way up to the edge, on an electric stove (in case you missed it, do choose the flat-bottom wok for electric and induction stoves; the round-bottom wok I am dealing with here is for someone with a gas range).

In fact, I’m scheming to purchase several more units, for myself and several family members, season all for everyone, and start cooking. I can’t recommend this wok highly enough and hope that with time Mammafong will expand their line-up of high-quality cooking utensils (I’ll be watching closely :-)).

I have mixed opinions of this wok, but take my opinion with a grain of salt because this is my first wok purchase. I followed the seasoning instructions closely: scrubbed the protective residue, heated the steel until it oxidized and turned blue, and added a few layers of polymerized oil.

My nonstick coating isn’t perfect but it’s pretty good. The wok is lightweight, so it heats up quickly and it’s somewhat easy to flip food. Cons: despite the wood handle being attached by screws, I couldn’t remove the handle.

After cooking a few times, the handle is somewhat creaky. Doubt it will last more than a few years. I’m also not convinced this is actually hand-hammered – looks like they took a cheap, commercial-made wok and made faux hammer marks on the inside basin.

There are no imperfections anywhere else on the wok. Don’t get me wrong, I think it looks great, but the wok / handle rivets look strikingly similar to several other woks on the market and I suspect this is just a marketing ploy.

All in all I think this is a 3. 5 star product.

Purchased this wok after doing a lot of research and reading reviews. This is a very well-made wok and obviously was handcrafted (not sure why som think it was machine made). Make no mistake, it is BIG – which is exactly what I wanted.

But, if you are expecting a moderate sized pan, that’s not what this is. I followed the seasoning instructions, beginning with washing the factory oil off of it with a sos pad. But forgot to dry it with a towel before heating it (my fault).

I put it on high heat and the wok changed colors brilliantly and right away. Had a couple very small rust specks during the heat-treating, but am willing to take the blame for that for not drying it properly after the initial wash.

Followed the oil application instructions and repeated 4x. The cooked a perfect non-stick egg on it. I have a gas stove, with cat iron grates that sit pretty tightly together, so the wok does not sit perfectly flush if unattended, but that doesn’t bother me.

Very happy with this purchase.

Just what we wanted! I looked at multiple woks to avoid high cost, heavy weight (cast iron), and artificial non-stick. It also needed to work on our induction range. This checks all the boxes. Seasoning took a while, but isn?t hard.

Natural non-stick is excellent after a few uses.

Nope, nope, nope!! The non-stick coating lasted a hot NY minute. Don’t waste your money. The peeling non-stick coating could be hazardous to your health. Incidentally, I only use wood or silicone in non-stick pans.

Is a piece of crap but the supplier is excellent and understood the issue. Great guys. Will buy from them with my eyes close!! They worked the issue 100%. The wok has to be treated really well to work but mine came already rusted.

When I contacted supplier they responded immediately telling me they knew there were some issues and credited my account right away! This is the kind of company you want to deal with. Decent and honest.

I love this wok. I was deciding between the 12\” and the 14\”. I\’m glad I went with this 14\” wok. As I\’m the cook of the family, I tend to cook more than usual. We are a family of 4, but I usually cook for 8 as we like having leftovers and my wife loves to take it for lunch the next day.

This wok does just that. It\’s big enough to cook for 8 people. The quality of this wok is restaurant grade. But you do have to take care of it, like oiling it after each use (just like a cast iron pan).

I wish my stove\’s flame is a strong as the restaurants. But what I have is good. No \’Dragon\’s Breath\’ in my home. If you are on the fence, just get it, you will not regret it.

14\” is a great size for an everyday wok. Will try \”season\” it soon and see the difference between carbon steel and cast iron. Fast shipping as well.

When I ordered the rubber cement I ordered some patches at the same time. Your shipment came fast. The patches are no where in sight so I haven’t used the glue yet. You can be assured their review not a good one.

It’s fabulous! Sturdy but not too heavy and large enough to hold a stir fry for four. But I use it for the two of us because it’s so roomy. It heats evenly and looks fabulous too. I felt crazy spending so much money for a pot but I did because it matches my stainless steel set so well and now I’m very glad I did! It has a very solid bottom to hold heat and a lovely mirror finish.

Heats evenly and love the size and weight. The handle is also well made.

I never realized how versatile a wok could be until utilizing the Ninja Foodi NeverStick Premium Hard-Anodized Wok. Over the past month, I have used this high quality, well-made pan for making tasty fried rice, stir-fries, sauces, deep frying, and braising.

The wok does a great job of heating foods quickly and evenly over a small flame, and it responds to changes in temperature well. The flat bottom design is easy to use, and the pan doesn’t move around on my stove.

The wok is sturdy, and has two handles, including a long comfortable handle, which stays reasonably cool when cooking on stovetop, and makes tossing foods easy. So far, I haven’t experienced any chipping or flaking of the wok, nor have I had any issues with anything sticking to it.

At 11 inches, the pan offers a decent surface area, but for bigger sized families, a larger surface area may be preferable. Finally, I like that the wok is durable, simple to clean and dishwasher-safe, free of PFOA, cadmium and lead, can be used with metal utensils, and comes with a neverstick lifetime guarantee, based on five years.

I was pretty excited to get this as I’m an avid gardener and tend do to do a lot of stir fry with my left over garden produce. The angle and shape of the pan make it so much easier to fry up large quantities of food with out stuff spilling over the sides.

Interestingly on this particular pan the non stick surface is considerably rougher and has more bumps. I’m assuming this is by design to help things not stick to the sides because it definitely works.

I do cook with oil however I usually put it in after the majority of the produce has already been tossed in and I haven’t had any issues with anything sticking to this pan, not even eggs. I’ve also been tossing this thing straight in the dishwasher, given its large size it does get bumped up against other items in the dishwasher but its held up fine.

We have a very high end pan set currently and this one fits right in. Over all a great pan.

I have always wanted to try using a wok and knowing that the Ninja Foodi pans are awesome I decided to give this one a try. WOW! This pan is awesome. I’ve made a few different stir fry dishes and even spaghetti and meatballs in it! I love that even if you walk away from a Ninja Foodi pan and burn the food it is super easy to cleanup.

(I have a bad habit of forgetting to watch supper on the stove. ) This wok is super durable and easy to use. It has a flat bottom that sits very nicely on my coil stove burners (and should on a glass top too).

Inside the pan, there is a small flat space at the bottom then it curves out the deepness of this pan allows me to easily make 4 servings of stir fry with no problems. Easy to use! Easy to clean! My new favorite pan!.

This is the same wok that is use in most Chinese restaurants. DOesnt scratch easily, make with good quality carbon material. I have cook all types of cuisines with wooden utensils. I used a stainless utensil and it didnt scratch.

The Wok is a nice size, big, and you can not beat this price.

After the third use the coating started peeling off the pan! I tried to use it again only to find tiny black bits of coating all through my food. I asked my husband to throw it away that same evening.

More frustrating is the fact that I still owe one payment on this non-functional wok!!.

scrub again to remove factory coating4. back in 500F oven until dry, wok should be dark now5. remove and while wok is still warm lightly coat both sides with flax seed oil and remove excess6. back in 500F for 30 minutes7.

repeat process until satisfied. Exterior is optional. I use flax seed oil because it more readily transforms into a hard coating, but you can use any oil.

This is just what I was looking for, just the right size and riveted handles. I seasoned it with flax oil in the oven for an hour—good to go. It is easy to spin around on my smooth top oven with no handles getting in the way, so I can really work the stir-fry.

More than pleased with this quality wok.

The Nonstick on the Calphalon skillet is amazing it really works well in helping the meals that I prepare not to stick. All the other nonstick pans that I own never seem to work as well as the Calphalon skillet.

I used a carbon steel wok for many years. It had an aluminum lid that vanished when I moved. The best feature about the missing lid was that it did not rust as did the wok. Yes, I coated the wok with oil to hold down the rust but it left a crummy looking wok that, on occasion , was a little sticky and rancid of smell.

Stainless leaves those problems behind and this Winco Wok is polished so that it approaches performance found in non-stick ware. This Winco Wok is riveted and I expect a very long life. There is no weld to break.

These stainless steel wok is amazing! Been using it on a electric stove but can’t wait to use them the way it’s meant to be on my future gas stove. Sturdy and keeps its shine pkus easy to clean and lightweight.

I’m very disappointed as this cannot be used on my Induction Cooktop. Apart from this wok, I purchased the other 3 cookwares, it’s so strange that only the 5L one can work well with my Induction Cooktop, but the other 2 and this wok cannot.

When I returned the useless products, the staff said I might be unable to get the refund because they couldn’t resell them as they were opened. If I didn’t open them how I could know they could not work with my cooktop.

It’s really ridiculous and it didn’t make sense!!! Finally, the staff still needed to get the approval from her Senior for this refund.

It is a big wok and quite handy one. But the wok is not thick and may burn the food if not constantly stirred. So it is not suitable for steam cooking. It comes with a glass lid which is very heavy and the knob is small compared to the lid.

I feel afraid to use it as it may slip and break. It is better to just buy a simple wok and not this one with a lid.

I bought this wok a while ago after a lot of searching. I needed something durable and non-stick that would be easy to clean, while big enough to hold enough food for 4 portions. I now use this wok for almost every meal I make, it is easy to use on my gas stove and still looks brand new.

The non-stick feature is brilliant. Only downside is that it does not mention whether it is dishwasher safe, so I have to wash it by hand. Luckily the non-stick makes this really quick and easy to do.
