20 Best Wireless Headphones For Bass (2023 Updated)

I have had several pairs of headphones and earbuds in the past. And this is the most I have spent on any pair of headphones, so I was sceptical at first to say the least. My last pair of headphones I had to purchas an equalizer app to get enough bass so I dont have to listen to only the peircing highs.

*keep note I am an audiophile and am very picky with the quality of any speaker or pair of headphones I get. And unlike most people, who just want to listen to music not caring what it really sounds like, I am focused as much on the thing thats making the music almost as much as the music its self.

Unboxing: Unboxing these was very easy and exiting, as yo have a slick, almost powdery(if this makes sense) matte finish with a reflective material consisting of the words and image of the headphones on the front.

From the get-go you can tell they are high quality and well thought out. The box has a door, so to say, that has a magnet to open it and close it. As soon as you open it up, there will be the skull candy carrying bag.

Yhere will also be some cardboard supports to keep the headphones supported and safe. You will get the whole usere’s manual and all that stuff which you wont need because these have some of the simplest controls of any headphone I have seen.

And under everything, there will be the colormatched aux chord and usb-c charging chord. Unboxing: 8. 8/10 Carrying bag: This bag is very high quality and durable and will well protect your headpones from scuffing and being twisted up in luggage or office supplies.

The bag has the Skullcandy logo that is color matched to the headphones just like the aux chord. The bag has the Skullcandy headquarters coordinates written on it which I thought was one of the coolest things ever.

The doble roll and clip is very simple and easy to do to close the bag. The inside of the case is very soft and is also colormatched to the headphones aswell as the aux chord and skull candy logo on the carrying bag.

*do keep in mind that this will not protect your headphones if sat on or accidentally dropped or thrown because it is a soft case, so if you do travle a lot or use them or move them often, then purchasing a hard case will be optimal for you.

Carrying bag/case: 9/10 Headphone build quality: The matte finish is very modern and finger-print proof. The adjustable things (what ever they are called to adjust the length of the headphones) are very smooth and easy to adjust.

The swivel of the actual headphones is smooth and also “locks” where you set it. The foam pads that fit arround your ear are very comfertabole and do a good job of dampening outside sounds and keeping inside sounds in so people can’t hear you music at low levles.

(half volume and below) the foam pad at the to of the headphones is very squishy so-to-say. It’s a very un-describable part and once you feel it you can say the same. As well at the soft carry case, the top of the headphones has the Skullcandy headquarters coordinates.

Also the very top, I am assuming is Alcantara, is also colormatched to the headphones. 9/10 Headphoe usability and controls: These are some of the simplest controls in any pair of headphones. On the left, you have the power and bass slider.

This is my favorite side because of the bass slider. The bass slider allows you to completely coustomize you sound to what you are watching or listening to. For me this is very helpful because i switch between genres of music, movies, and social media.

The right side has the simple indented pause/play button and the volume up and down buttons on the top and bottom of thie pause and play button. Other than that, thats all the controls. Controls: 9. 5/10 Sound quality and crushing bass: These are the best sounding headphones on the market under $1k.

The highs are crisp and not piercing, and the mids are rich and clear. You don’t have to worry about losing sound quality as you turn up the bass. The one feature on these that are on absolutley nothingelse is a dedocated subwoofer.

These headphones WILL rattle your teeth and make your brains numb. They absolutely crush the lows and have the cleanest bass. The bass isn’t muddy and is clear, accurate and tight. These have a feature where, since the bass is so loud, will turn up the mids and highs but not to where it’s too loud.

The bass slider all the way down in no bass at all and turns the subwoofer off completely. As soon as you turn the slider up just a little it will turn it on. At full volume, they will drown out everything.

On full volume with these things off, you can hear them like its your phone’s speaker on about 3/4 volume. Funny story; so one day I was “vacuuming” my house with these on full volume just jamming. I suddenly have to go to the bathroom and pause the music and notice the vacuum wasn’t even on.

So I have to go back after I finished releaving myself, I re-vacuumed the room and a half i have missed. Sound quality 10/10 Improvements for Skullcandy’s next Crusher Evo model: make the max volume a tad bit louder.

Also design the headband a little tighter to be able to headbang a little harder. Overall rating after using these for 2 months: 9. 8/10 TLDR; Get these right now, don’t get sony or bose unless you want to fit in with the crowd or just want to miss out on the craziest listning experience ever.

I’ve had these for a couple of months now and they still manage to blow my mind on just how good they are. I made the switch from some old Beats Studio 2 Wireless to these and I don’t regret it at all, I had no idea what I was missing, in fact I regret not purchasing this brand instead of Beats from the get go.

The music comes through so much clearer because from what I’m hearing there’s not a large/over exaggerated boost in certain frequencies that makes the headphones sound a certain type of way, which I didn’t notice until I bought these, that Beats does.

And being able to adjust the bass to the way you like it, excellent, brilliant, marvelous. It can give songs/genres that’s not so bass heavy a nice little boost for the low end, and songs/genres that are already bass heavy, an earth shattering low end boost, wow.

It’s simply insane and I love it because I absolutely love bass. Now I bought these headphones for two main reasons like I did my Beats: one to listen to music that I like, two as yet another consumer product reference for making my own music, not as studio monitors but for checking how it will sound in another environment/system.

If the music sounds great on these, it 9/10 will sound great on everything else, including the very cheap products or even the more expensive things. These headphones serve both purposes of which I purchased them for.

The Skullcandy Crusher Evo Bluetooth Noise-Canceling Over-Ear Headphones, Black, S6EVW-N744, are yet another great product from the Skullcandy company. I have been purchasing headphones from this company since the Mid 2000s and I can say they have alway been a bang for your buck type of headphone for me.

I now stick to the wireless lines of headphones they make, I previously had a pair of Indy Evo wireless Earbuds by Skullcandy but wanted to see how the over ear headphones would feel for me at work. I am overall very glad I made the switch.

Sure the earbuds are lighter and allow you to wear hats easier, but as far as sound and comfort go I think these headphones take the cake. Mind you I am sitting at a desk when wearing these at work so I cannot really speak on using them when moving around.

I really like the simple controls on the headphones! The orange power button is easy to locate and cuts down on the confusion on if you have them powered on or off. The bass slider is a very nice feature that allows you to quickly adjust bass with a simple button.

The carrying case that comes with these headphones is very nice also. You can keep all your cords in one place and protect your headphones from wear during transport. Another really cool feature I liked about these headphones is the app that allows you to see the battery life, adjust EQ settings, track the headphones, and more! I really think that feature makes these headphones a step above some entry level over the ear headphones.

I mainly use these to listen to youtube videos and music. They do the job perfect and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great pair of Skullcandy headphones.

I love these Skullcandy Crusher Evo headphones. They take my gaming to a whole new level and I can literally feel the bass which I love! The music and bass makes me feel immersed into my games, and music.

I also use these headphones to complete zoom calls. The SkullCandy Crusher Evo headphones are perfect for a gamer, employee, college student, or someone who wants to listen to music and vibe out. The cool thing is that these headphones give you 40 hours of battery life which gives you hours of play time.

Obviously I am a gamer. The rapid charge is 100% true it literally takes only minutes to charge for 3 hours of play. For a full charge it’s only probably about 30 minutes and back up for 40 hours. The audio on these are amazing it’s so crisp and clear.

When talking to a person online I feel like the person talking is next to me or when I listen to music that I am at the concert listening to the band. It is that clear! The cancellation works well too! I do not hear anything in the background when I am in meetings which I am sure my employees are happy about.

It’s also nice to have the noise cancellations when I’m playing my games. One of my favorite thing about these headphones is the tile. I loose everything and with the tile my life became easier no more searching for hours.

The tile is a nice touch to the headphones. Now lets talk about the personal sound auto tune which is such a nice touch and to my amazement works perfectly. I love the personal auto tune because I have a hard time hearing.

It is so easy to adjust the sound to your preferences. The Skullcandy crusher evo headphones would be a perfect present for somebody who games, loves music, works too much (j/k), and for everyone! Multiple people are receiving these for gifts from me and I know they will be screaming for excitement.

Definitely one of the best wireless headphones I have used in awhile.

Have some Momentum III’s that I thought were really nice. After buying the Crusher’s and burning them in for about 20 hours, they are decent and have lots to “ridiculous”bass noise depending where you adjust the slider.

The problem is it is mostly just noise when compared to my Momentum III’s. The bass on the Senns when you tweek it a couple decibels sounds so much better. The mids and treble on the crushers is also decent but lacking the polish of the Senns.

They are a little tight on larger heads so gonna send them back. The new Sony 4’s sound really good in the store so save my money for those and see how they do in a side by side. Price does reflect quality to a large extent in headphones it seems.

Satisfactory Performance. Very well justify the price. Absolute delight for bass lovers. Having very good feature to adjust bass according to the music. Battery backup is also nice. Reviewed after 2 years of successfully used.

No one regret or questions on its sound performance (especially low frequencies with addition to its sensory bass feature). With ANC, it becomes complete package to enjoy theater like sound anywhere.

One of the best sounding device to have. Only one flaw. the band locking system to hold the earcups are not well designed. Earcup slides to its max extent whenever you hold in hands and due to which everytime needed to adjust on ear before using it.

Unfortunately, I had to exchange this for a far more expensive Sony WH1000XM5. The sound quality, features and aesthetic of the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 3 is outstanding, not to mention the best value for the price @ $250 when I bought it, compared to Sony and Bose.

The noise cancelling literally took away loud construction noise from next door and other loud ambient noises. The quality is that of studio headphones, with no “enhancements” like chirpy Bose does with mid-range.

The clarity from these headphones connected to my Sony Master Series TV enabled sounds that I had not heard, taking movie watching and music to another level. The channel separation is a great revelation – even the App tiles on Apple TV on the left and right side were separated between the cups! Also, even a seasoned listener of classical music will be pleased with the honesty of the fidelity, true to source as any headphones can be.

This, for the brief while I owned it was The One Headphone to Rule Them All – my TV, Pixel 5a and Computer, it connects all without a hitch. It has superb features like auto pause and auto connect when Bluetooth is enabled.

The build quality is superior – finished, tough German engineering. However, I could not wear it for over 30 minutes at a stretch; it clamped down hard on my ears, and began to feel uncomfortable in less than 20 minutes.

It could be because of my glasses, but my ears started to hurt in 20 minutes. Any potential buyer should try this on for comfort first; I could not reduce the pressure and discomfort even after adjusting the earpieces for varying looseness.

It is unfortunate that I had to return these quality, tough headphones for a lightweight, overpriced Sony. I still cannot take away a single star from this product, my discomfort while wearing these is not a universal experience.

To start with here are my priorities for a new set of cans: 1 Sonic quality 2 Durability 3 On Sale I’ve been listening to AT-M50 and JBL E65BTNC headphones for years. The ATs are excellent for front of house engineers as they are efficient and full range.

They have held up well. The JBLs on the other hand sound good but are falling apart. Hence I purchased Sennheiser Momentum headphones to replace the JBLs. My thought was stainless steel and genuine stitched lamb’s skin will last longer than plastic and glued imitation leather.

The bonus is Momentums sound better than either of the other two headphones understanding that I am looking for sonic accuracy. The bass is very articulate not mushy, the midrange is superbly smooth and highs sparkle without being harsh.

As an audio engineer I’m rather critical. I use a lot of Sennheiser gear on stage. Momentum headphones fit the Sennheiser philosophy of making solid, good performing products that hold up on the road.

Some people want over the top low end. If that is your thing these are not the headphones (or droids) you are looking for. Some reviewers complain about Momentum’s battery life. How often do you charge your phone, laptop and all your other gadgets? You won’t need to charge Momentums any more often than the rest of your wireless gear.

A good multiport USB charger is a must in today’s world. I’ve found Anker USB power ports to be very good and you can find them at Best Buy. Momentum’s noise cancelling is not as good as Bose or Sony.

However I turned up a radio tuned to a talk show while listening to music with headphones. The blaring radio was adequately cancelled by Momentums. Momentums are light and comfortable. They clamp securely over your ears without being too tight affording hours of comfortable listening.

The build quality is up to Sennheiser standards, again they are made with stainless steel and genuine leather stitched together instead of being glued which invariably fails. After some hours of listening I am falling in love with Momentums.

I listened to classic rock, country, classical, musical theater and pop. I have a magnificent recording of Moonlight Sonata. With Momentums I felt like I was sitting on the piano bench. The 1812 Overture is a true test of any speaker system.

It’s very dynamic culminating in cannon fire which normally shows the inability of speakers to handle such dynamic range, but Momentums handle it with ease providing authentic reproduction from the most delicate passage to maximum level impulse response without distortion.

To say I’m impressed is an understatement. Sennheiser set the bar very high with Momentum Bluetooth headphones. Time will tell but I anticipate listening to Sennheiser Momentums for a good long time while enjoying every minute.

I purchased these headphones to replace my Sony XM4’s. I loved the Sony’s but since they went kaput after only a year, I didn’t was totally turned off on the brand. This led to an extensive search and I finally settled on the Momentum’s…when they went on sale.

After a month of frequent use, I can honestly say that I really like them. But I would’ve passed if they were only available for full retail. The Momentum’s do sound really good but they’re not miles ahead of the competition.

Particularly at the full price. Audio snobs may say different but, to me, they’re just a little better. Noticeable but not mind blowing. The noise cancellation isn’t nearly as good as Sony’s or Bose but this shouldn’t come as a surprise if you’ve done your research and read multiple reviews.

They’re pretty good but a noticeable step down from those. It does a pretty good job and if you’re listening to music/movies with noise canceling on, you’ll feel pretty isolated. Also, I can confirm that audio sounds excellent with noise canceling on.

Better than with it off. I also love that you can connect to 2 devices and play sound from both devices simultaneously. Not sure, how much I’ll use that but it’s a cool feature. The EQ is cool and after playing around with it, I’ve created some nice modes for different genres.

SoundCheck is a great place to start and you can play around with the EQ after that. The only things I really dislike are the auto off feature, the max loudness and battery life. The auto-pause often stops audio when I don’t want it to…like if I lean/move my head towards my shoulders, it’ll pause.

Like almost all the time. I didn’t have this issue with my previous set of cans so it was a bit more annoying. I ended up just turning it off. I think it’s due to where the sensors are located. The max volume isn’t as loud as my previous headphones which sucks when I really want to jam out.

It’s not a huge difference but noticeable. Battery life definitely is below most of the competition but I never have to recharge throughout the day. Overall, I like the Momentum’s and I’m happy with the purchase.

But only for the sale price. If I had to pay full retail, I would’ve definitely considered other options.

There Powerbeats are good but not great, especially for the price. Frankly, I’m a bit disappointed. First, the good points. I very much prefer having earhooks on my earbuds and these work nicely and are comfortable.

I considered getting Apple AirPods but they aren’t available with earhooks. I like the Powerbeats compact size. The controls are very well thought out and I also like that they’re the same on both buds so I can use either hand.

Furthermore, it’s great that the buds can be used one at a time instead of only both. This is helpful for maintaining ambient awareness when exercising outdoors because there’s nothing in one ear. Now for the not so good things about these Powerbeats.

The bass leaves much to be desired. The highs and mid-ranges are quite good but not stellar. Another problem with them is that there’s no feedback when placing them in the case to charge to assure the buds have good contact with the contacts in the case.

As a result, I recently took them with me to my car dealer to use while waiting to get my vehicle serviced and only one was charged. Very annoying. Now, when placing them in the case, I jiggle each bud to assure it’s solidly in contact with the case’s contacts.

I don’t think the Powerbeats justify the high price. They’d be a decent purchase if they were on sale for at least $50 less, but not they’re MSRP.

Sinceramente es el sonido que busqué durante todos estos años, pero tiene un defecto que no me gustó para nada, que fue el cupón del 3d Experience de Sony, traté minimo 2 horas canjear el código con Tidal y no me dejaba.

Intenté hasta con un vpn y nada, al punto en que intenté tantas veces que el código se canjeó en una cuenta pero no detecta el premium, asique si compran los auriculares, no canjeen en Tidal porque no deja simplemente.

En cuanto a las almohadillas son super cómodas pero demasiado calurosas, me llegan a sudar las orejas del calor, mas ahora que estamos en verano, por lo que en invierno deberían sentirse más ricos. Por ese notivo 4 estrellas.

Ahora en cuanto a software y hardware, los audífonos son hasta ahora los mas completos que he adquirido, ya que por medio del nfc de android los conectas y no tienes que hacer nada, lurgo bajas la app de Sony para configurarlos y ajustarlos a tu gusto, el ecualizador me gustó ya que es simple y rápido.

Me pareció bacán que pudieras escoger el reconocimiento inteligente de ubicación recurrente, ya que vas ganando logros y parece divertido a la hora de usar los audífonos. Tambien me gustó mucho la reducción de audio exterior, es tan buena al punto que yendo en metro no oyes casi nada, cosa que sirven muy bien por si quieres ir sin interrupciones ni ruidos en tu viaje.

Los gestos del auricular derecho sob super faciles y lógicos de aprender, a los 20 minutos de uso ya le agarré el truco y la simplicidad es épica. Si buscas unos buenos audífonos, estos son los mejores Bluetooth.

Además el color azul queda joyita, creo que mejor aun que el negro.

06. 2021 über Amazon gekauft habe, sollte es eigentlich keine Problem mit dem Verbinden dieser Kopfhörer zu dieser Amazon Alexa Sound Bar geben. Ich hatte diese Kopfhörer nämlich schon einmal bei einem anderen Shop, und zwar bei HiFi Klubben gekauft und das gleiche Problem gehabt.

Der Shop konnte mir jedoch nicht weiterhelfen und nach Rücksprache mit Amazon habe ich mich darauf verlassen, das dieses sicherlich ein technischer Mangel ist und darauf hin, diese nochmals über Amazon gekauft.

Leider hat sich auch Amazon hier gänzlich geirrt, da das gleiche Problem wieder eintrat. Nach Rücksprache, dann direkt mit Sony und zwei Tage Wartezeit, wurde mir dann von der technischen Abteilung mitgeteilt, dass diese Lautsprecher von Sony definitiv mit der Amazon Alexa Sound Bar nicht kompatibel sind.

Man kann sich über Handy verbinden und dann über Umwege mit der Alexa Sound bar verbinden, aber direkt ist diese so nicht vorgesehen!! Soviel nur mal dazu. Die Kopfhörer selber sind soweit sehr solide gebaut, sitzen gut, haben eine guten Klang.

Die App ist noch etwas verbesserungswürdig oder warum soll ich da mein Ohr erst scannen, was nicht so ohne weiteres geht, um in den Genuss zu kommen die 360° Soundtechnik zu aktivieren. So habe ich es jedenfalls verstanden, was ich auch nicht hinbekommen habe, da es ohne diesem Scan nicht ging.

Viel Spielereien, jedoch bei diesem hohen Preis absolut nicht akzeptable, dieses habe ich auch den Sonytechniker mitgeteilt und auch die Bedienungsanleitung ist bei weitem nicht sehr Aussagekräftig. Ich habe diese jetzt zum Black Friday Angebot bekommen, da diese Kopfhörer sonst noch weit aus mehr kosten sollen, was ich so überhaupt nicht verstehen kann.

Ich habe da schon über Amazon weit aus preisgünstigere Bluetooth Kopfhörer gekauft, wo eine Verbindung mit meiner Alexa Sound Bar überhaupt kein Problem dargestellt hat und auch mit meinem Handy, so wie mit meinem Fernseher.

Leider gab es da einige andere Probleme, wo ich jetzt nicht auch noch ausführlich drüber reden möchte. Der nächste Fehler, normaler Weise sollen sich die Kopfhörer nach einschalten mit dem letzten Gerät, womit man verbunden war, von alleine verbinden, auch dieses klappt meistens nicht.

Ich habe nach einschalten der Kopfhörern die Bluetooth Funktion aktiviert und musste dann meistens noch ins Fernsehmenü und diese dann über Bluetooth mit den Kopfhörern verbinden. Aber wenn man dann soviel Geld ausgeben muss, verlange ich und ich glaube da spreche ich auch im Sinne anderer Käufer, dann muss die Technik ausgereift sein und da kann man dann was anderes verlangen, vor allem , wenn es in der Beschreibung am Anfang eindeutig geschrieben steht!! Was soll man den noch glauben?? Diese kann jawohl nicht bei mir nur der Fall gewesen sein und dann gleich zweimal hinter einander, die gleichen Fehler, dieses ist doch wohl kein Zufall!!! Jetzt habe ich mal über Google eingeben, Kopfhörer die mit Amazon Alexa Sound Bar kompatibel sind.

Und ich war da doch schon etwas erstaunt, auch diese Kopfhörer tauchen da auf, für mich unverständlich!! Gruß J. Hoppe.
