20 Best Wireless Earbuds Under $50S (2023 Updated)

Firstly, I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to see the minimal no fuss packaging to promote sustainability and the ability to recycle afterwards. I love this and think more companies should do things like this especially with the modern day era of needing to be more sustainable.

Setting up and using the earphones with respect to connectivity was just an absolute breeze which was also very refreshing, with the app being easy to navigate and very aesthetic and nice to use. Being able to do commands and link to Spotify with certain taps I thought was also ingenious.

I always resisted buying earbud type earphones due to concern of losing them, poor fit, poor sound but these earphones certainly did not disappoint. I was able to dismiss these concerns pretty much straight away.

When I switched to the smaller earbud side, the fit was perfect and the sound quality for this priced product was so good in my opinion. I felt the colour and shape also looked good when I was using them.

The bass was brilliant when testing certain tracks that I usually need a good sound system to play. the quality when using them for phone calls was also very good. The feature that allows you to hear external sounds when you need to was helpful too.

The range via bluetooth I have found to be perfect for me and the battery life so far is good. I also really like the case and the fact it charges the earbuds and is easy to charge itself with the fast usb C type adapter.

So I do not really need to worry about what to do when they may be low on battery or even losing the earbuds themself as they securely fit with magnets into the case- which is also sleek and compact in design.

Overall, I am really glad I made this purchase and have been enjoying using them ever since I unpacked them. I would highly recommend.

I’ve only really been into running for about six months, so have been looking for a pair of compact and small earbuds that deliver good sound quality, but with being able to hear my surroundings. Now these are unbelievable and really do deliver.

It has been the first time I’ve EVER had to turn DOWN the low frequencies. The Bass is unreal on these small and compact buds, and I’m just blown away with the sound, literary. I’m usually a very critical person, but I was surprised with these little units.

Now the packaging is basic, with a ‘not sure about this’ feel, but very eco and glad to see this. You have a variety of ear size adaptors in the box, but the ones fitted work just fine for me. One little twist and these sit snug in the ear.

Initial thoughts are ‘I’m going to lose these’ but on quick runs, they never slip and sit just right. As for the setup, you are going to require a smartphone. The iPhone app was just fine and took a few minutes to set up.

The update to the earbud however took longer, but nice to see that they are ‘upgradeable’ via firmware updates. The pass-thru audio is a nice touch, if but a little ‘surreal’ and feels a little amplified at times.

However, my hearing is not amazing and I was able to clearly talk and hear people, so top marks on this. My best feature, even if a requirement for some, is being able to pair it with my Apple Watch, something that can be troublesome, but works really well between the phone and watch.

The buttons on the logo’s are just as good, Te Left and Right buttons work really well. Just a left tap and ‘HearThrough’ is enabled/disabled and Right to resume audio. Right Double-taps to skip tracks.

The box contains everything you are going to need, a USB-A to C charge lead (15cm), Earbud adaptors, (Small and Large) and the Charge case with buds inside, with mine arriving fully charged! Given that they are not the TOP END versions, the higher-end ones must be amazing.

I was drawn to these mainly because the shape resembles that of Apple AirPods (1st gen) which fit my ear perfectly. As an added bonus I have a OnePlus phone and prefer Android based products. They sound great and the phone software (HeyMelody) works well.

They are almost as comfortable (for me) as the AirPods, but way more comfortable than any kind of “ear bud” which make my ears sore after like 10 minutes. I have worn these for multiple hours (mainly driving) and they’re great.

At half the price of AirPods I would certainly recommend these as an alternative.

The Earphones are amazing!!! I love the design, it connects with my phone easily. Since I bought them I can’t stop using them. Incredible quality for the price. They came in good condition, they work flawlessly, the ordering and shipping process was speedy and convenient.

I loved these earphones. And yes it charges without any problems, I have given durability five stars on the assumption that it is genuine and will last a long time. I would highly recommend it.

I have the 8T and was having trouble connecting the ear buds. What I ended up doing was installing the oneplus buds app which showed they needed and update and did. I was now able to adjust the double tap feature, when before I was not.

I further had to restart phone for the ear buds to finally connect automatically. To be honest is a lot of work a product that is from the same company when all my other bluetooth buds and speakers needed less work.

Yeah, I know first world problems, but still why?.

– Overall this product is good in the under 7K price range (it could’ve been 1 or 1. 5K cheaper but no hard feelings). – The sound quality is excellent, but I am no audiophile, so take this with a grain of salt.

– The overall build quality is awesome. The case quality could’ve been a little better to look more premium but after over 1 and a half years of use I only have one complaint from the case and this is ti could’ve been a little compact.

It is too bulky to carry around in your jeans pockets if you are traveling. If it gets misplaced in your pockets then people can misinterpret that as something else in your pockets 😉 – Let’s come to the battery life.

Overall its battery life is awesome while it lasted. Basically, it started giving me problems around a few months ago when it just wouldn’t last even a single hour when connected to my MacBook Pro. And would last just over an hour when connected to my OP 8 Pro.

The claims of 10 hours on buds and 70 hours on the case are accurate but only true till you reach one year period and my buds started giving battery problems when it crossed the warranty period and now I am not sure whether I can get them repaired or not.

That’s why it gets one star less for this – The last deduction in the star is caused by the connectivity issues. These buds always gave me issues in connecting to my phone sometimes they will connect flawlessly when you turn on the Bluetooth but sometimes one of the buds will just show the error “Problem connecting” or some error like that and that’s just irritating.

– The connectivity issues persist through the call as well like sometimes it would only work for one earbud for listening to the call and the mic will not properly work unless you put the buds close to your mouth to speak.

Hi, I’m Surya, an Artist, Producer and Mixing Engineer. Before jumping on to reviewing these earbuds, I’d like to explain what I look forward to in a pair of TWS. Firstly, I look for a Flat Balance, meaning: not so bassy, not on the edge of sibilance, neither something boxy.

Secondly the depth and imaging displayed (3D Effect), meaning: how large is the section of the song which has to be felt BIG. Third, I look for the dynamics and details felt, meaning: how punchy is the snare which has to be punchy and how detailed are the micro expressions in the voice or guitar.

And how’d I say something isn’t punch or something is on the edge of being harsh is comparing it with my experience on listening to my own songs or my mix reference songs on: KRK Rokit 6 G3, Sennheiser HD600, Sennheiser 280 Pro, Airpods Gen 2 and Yamaha HS8’s.

Before jumping I want you to understand every audio device has its own color, I’m here to explain what this color is and why I returned it back. This may be the color you like, who knows. Also I tried all the ear tips given and I found foam to be my best choice (because it gave lesser lows and a cleaner fit).

The balance was not “FLAT”. They have done a great job in finding a deep bass end and punchy kick to be felt hard, but the MIDS (200-600Hz) I’d say is missing its level and details. And what this means is that Vocals in the mix don’t sit with the kick and bass, rather a bit behind.

If you’d prefer “extra bass” series buds, this one is having a bit of that flavor (not much – a bit). And coming to the highs, it’s neither low or harsh (it’s ok level detailed), but once your lows are loud and on the face, there is a mirror effect that higher frequency is felt less.

If highs were a bit higher, presence would have been in the track and thus helped me retain this pair. The major reason I’m giving this back is this: a bit higher lows which masks the low mids. You may say “Hey did you check the EQ in the app?” – EQ’s can boost frequency which can solve my issue here but, you shouldn’t do it with any track because it tremendously affects the dynamics, depth felt.

It’s universal to any device and any track. And I tried it too. Then I don’t anymore feel the depth and detail luxury initially felt. Depth and Imaging: This is the selling point of this pair and it is indeed very good.

I even thought of retaining this pair for this reason. But once you alter something in the EQ app, this depth orgasm is reduced. Dynamics and Details: I’d say this attribute is “OK” for its price. Good details on lows (<120Hz) and above decent on very high end (>5kHz).

Mid Mids (0. 8-1. 5khz) are ok. Low mids (200-600Hz) either feel lost or boxy sometimes. Apart from sound quality aspects, I had problems connecting with the app every time (Redmi Note 9) and when I connected it with my laptop I was not feeling the same audio quality and there were crackling lags heard (not sure if its the incapability of lap or its the buds) The case looks pretty cool and the battery capability is insane.

Hardly have to charge these There was a great isolation felth with ear tips Even when you keep these in the case it doesn’t get disconnected, you have to manually disconnect these. I checked these with all genres apart from my reference list and my own songs.

If you’re a rock/jazz lover, definitely this isn’t for you. If you love pop and hip hop with a bit of extra low end (and loss of mids) this might be the one for you. I should say old songs from the 70s,80s and early 90’s which were recorded and mixed before the digital recording era, those ones were pretty good to listen to: As those songs lack the sub bass end, the boost in the lows of the earbuds were a positive in that case.

I was skeptical to buy from a brand never heard before but having read all the reviews i decided to take a chance and I am so happy that I made the right call. The biggest strength of these earphones is their sound separation.

We can identify every single instruments even those which you will fail to notice in normal headphones or speakers. Also its not harsh on ears. I am not a bass head but i hate treblish sounds. Most of the earphones out there have a V shaped sound with bass and treble boosted which I hate because the listening to the treble sound for too long hurts my ears.

This one hit the right spot for me. If we really need to pick the negatives, I can state two of them 1) The sub bass section is weak, I think it fails to produce the right tones for them 2) The fit is not comfortable for long duration.

It starts give pain after 1 hour which is not a big deal for me as I bought this mainly for workout. Apart from these two issues, for the price this is an absolute steal. Also the ability to have custom EQ using the app is a great deal for me.

I can adjust the sound to my liking.

The EarFun Air Pro bluetooth ear buds are a really great bit of kit. Firstly, they have a really good sound quality, with decent depth and punchy detail. I found a fairly flat EQ level brought out the best in them.

I expect they’ll get even better as they burn-in over time. They are super-comfy to wear for long periods, with a reassuringly secure, natural fit within your ear contours and gentle ear tip sealing.

At no point have they felt like they might fall out, even with my head tilted sideways. The mic body is fairly short, so they can be worn inside ear defenders. The active noise reduction seems to work ok as well.

The build quality is obvious and one of my buds slipped from my hand onto a concrete floor with no harm done. The battery life is good, and lasts a full 8 hour shift at med-high volume. The charging case is really nice and works well for standalone quick topups or the daily plug in recharge.

My only niggle is the sculpted recesses for the buds don’t have room for ear tips longer than about 7mm, or they won’t contact the charging points properly. The manual states a 5v 1 amp USB-C charge, but using my 1.

5 amp adaptor works perfectly fine. Bluetooth signal is reliable and the range is excellent (breaks up at about 40 feet from source). I haven’t used them for calls yet, only for audio, so cannot comment on the mic performance etc.

Overall, these are excellent earbuds and one of the best purchases I’ve made in a while. Very much recommended.

I bought my EarFun Pro headphones about 2 weeks ago and they are fantastic. For the price I think they are a bargain considering the cost of other headphones out there. I would recommend them to anyone who wants in ear headphones that are comfy, really good sound, stay in your ear when running but dont want to break the bank.

The noise cancelling isnt the best in the world. But still make a difference. I have the Sony Wh-1000xm3 over head headphones and the EarFun dont match them, but i dont expect them to at a 5th of the price.

But what they do beat the Sony Wh-1000xm3 on is microphone when i am having calls. That is v helpful. I am very happy with the purchase.

Got these a few weeks ago, so while this isn’t a long-term use review, it’s based on a fair bit of use. I’d never heard of Earfun until a few weeks ago, but these seem up there with Anker for quality and value.

They’ve got active noise cancellation, which is rare for wireless earphones at this price point. Their sound is quite bass heavy and dynamic, rather than flat. Mids and treble still come through along with the boosted bass.

So plenty of impact but not overly boomy. Soundstage is pretty open too. Noise cancellation works well, though not as good as the more expensive earphones (e. g. Airpods Pro). Mics work well for calls helping blocking out background noise to help others to hear you clearly.

They look nice – quite futuristic. The touch controls are a bit limited, with no skip back for example, but cover the basics. Battery life is good, up to 9h with noise cancellation on and 7h off. With the case you get 32h without the cancelling and 24 with.

Been using mine for a week and still have plenty of battery left. Case isn’t wireless charging. Waterproofing is IPX5 so while you can’t submerge them in water they are fine in a rain shower. Overall, great value for the price.

Noise cancellation not as good as with expensive pairs, but excellent for the price point. Lack of wireless charging on the case is a shame, and the touch controls could be better. But overall fantastic value – don’t think they can be beaten at the price.

I’ve listened to many headphones but earbuds and overhead sets and the Sony LinkBuds S are in a league of their own. The crisp and clear sounds heard while I excitedly shuffled through my music playlist brought to life the stunning clarity, sound and incredible bass.

I fell in love instantly. I am an outdoors enthusiast and I’ve searched many brands to find a set of earbuds that not only feel snug in my ear and safe while I’m moving across various terrain but I wanted earbuds that let me enjoy the music with simply stunning sound, complimented by outstanding noise reduction.

Sony’s Adaptive Sound Control, Speak-to-Chat, an equalizer with 12 sound profile settings with two custom options. 360 Reality Audio Setup with the Sony App. Another brilliant feature is the Adaptive Sound Control that allows noise canceling with a transparency mode to be automated depending on what you’re activity is along with your location.

So if you’re relaxing, walking running or using public transport this can all be assigned to have noise canceling on, Ambient Sound is featured with a 20-point sliding scale, or everything off. So if you’re in a coffee shop and you need to hear the barista when getting your coffee? you can add your local coffee shop to the learned locations list in the Sony app and set the Ambient Sound to 20 so every time you walk in you’ll be able to hear what’s going on allowing you to order and collect your drink.

The Noice Cancelling is genuinely superb and so much better than other brands I’ve used particularly with crowd noise than the other branded Earbuds. The additional battery life is superb if you have planned a longer trip yet I always try when travelling to pack a travel battery charge pack.

Even with the added ANC functionality, Sony have the LinkBuds S at 6 hours of use, this was so accurate and in fact I was getting close to 6. 5 hours changing some volume settings. First of all, I have never owned any wireless earbuds before as I more opt for the over-ear or on-ear variants of headphones. The reason, my ear canals are ultra sensitive and don’t get on well with having heavy IEM’s/in-ear eartips shoved in them, so I tried these with a good pinch of salt.

After using these on and off, I am happy to say that I have had zero issues with my ears, the Linkbuds S are beautifully crafted to be light, secure and sit perfectly in the ear to the point you forget you are wearing them.

Of course the most important part of any earbud is the point of contact in the ear, the ear tip must create a perfect seal to achieve isolation and good sound quality but inherently comfort is key. size and material are so important.

The supplied silicon tips are incredibly soft and create an excellent seal in the ear which is paramount to having effective passive noise cancelling on any earbud but with Sony’s Active Noise Cancelling in the mix, the isolation is sooo impressive and spookily good.

I recently returned from my holidays in Turkey in which I had the joy of using the Linkbuds S during and I have to admit, the more I used the Linkbuds S, the more I have fallen in love with them, I was looking forward to trying them on the flight and by the pool as a true test for the ANC and I am pleased to say that they performed admirably.

With the eartips offering good isolation, the engine noise from the plane was gone and pool music, which was loud at some points (at about 10 metres away), was basically inaudible. The fact that this tiny set of wireless buds are able to do this is basically mind blowing.

If I was to add something at this point as an improvement it would be increased water resistance for both the buds and charging case, being around a pool is highly hazardous for these buds at only IPX4 rated (care and attention is required).

Disclaimer, these are not audiophile buds but the sound reproduction is fantastic as long as your music source is good, LDAC helps here a lot but at the expense of range if optimised for sound quality.

So if you move away from your BT player source expect connection drop outs with the Linkbuds S especially if the airwaves are congested with other device signals. In my opinion, the difference between a premium set of earphones and a budget set of earphones are the features, something that all of Sonys bluetooth earphones/headphones have a plethora of, some of which folks will find a gimmick and others indispensable.

Saying this the Linkbuds S are well worth the price point, Sony are second to none in the bluetooth earphone/headphones space in my opinion, Sony’s software and hardware is hard to beat and they have a lot of boxes ticked with their consumer products.

The Linkbuds S bring simplicity and a getting on perfect feature set to the wireless bud space, I love them and highly recommend.

The Sony LinkBuds S produce a good quality sound with a balanced output across the frequency range, including a good level of low end bass which is impressive from such a small unit. Voices are nice and clear when using the LinkBuds while making calls with your mobile phone.

The Bluetooth pairing with an Android smart phone was incredibly easy. After charging the LinkBuds, simply took them out of the charging case, they switched on automatically when put them in my ears and appeared straight away on the Bluetooth settings screen on the Android phone and was able to listen with them instantly.

There is a Sony Headphone Connect app to install which is used for changing various settings, for example, the touch sensor operations assigned to each earbud, and viewing the battery status of both earbuds and the charging case.

Pairing later with an iPad was also very easy. Music or podcast playback automatically stops when you remove an earbud from your ear and then continues when you put them back in so no need to pause on your playback device.

The charging case contains a rechargeable battery which is very useful for recharging the earbuds without needing to keep connecting the charging case to a USB power source to recharge the earbuds. Being light and compact the LinkBuds S fit easily in the ear and are comfortable to wear.

The Sony Headphones Connect app has an “ear fit test” function which is useful for checking that the correct earbud tip size is being used for a good seal in your ear and therefore get the best performance from the LinkBuds.

Having used wired in-ear headphones for many years I have found using the LinkBuds S headphones a big leap forward in capability and usability, as well as having no dangling wires tugging or moving around.

I really like the ambient sound feature when using the LinkBuds while out walking. For example, it is great to be able to listen to a podcast while on a walk without felling cut-off from the outside world, so still able to hear the birds chirping and the traffic around you.

When sat listening to music the LinkBuds detect you are stationary and automatically switch from ambient sound to noise cancellation. In summary, as well as sounding good, the LinkBuds S pack in an impressive level of functionality in a compact earbud, with a quality design and build you can rely on from Sony.

The buds are small, lightweight and come with a USB charging wire and a small white charging case, which easily fits in a bag or pocket. Mine are graphite but I they come in three other colours lavender, olive and white.

The buds click into the case, I think they have a magnet which attaches to the charging pins so they don’t fall out of the case as soon as you open it. The set up was unbelievably easy, especially for someone who isn’t great at that sort of thing.

I just downloaded the Galaxy wearable app and they immediately started syncing via Bluetooth with my Samsung phone. Making sure the buds fit well within your ear is also very easy as there is an ‘Earbud Fit test’.

There are three sets of ear tips to make sure they fit comfortably. When you place them in your ear there is a beep from each bud, twist them slightly until they feel snug and then hit start. The app then tells you if each ear has a good fit and adjust until you do.

They are very comfortable and easy to wear for long periods of time and don’t hurt your ear like other brands I’ve had in the past. They also stay in place when exercising. You can also check how much charge the buds and case have left in the app, although I’ve not used this feature often as they have a great battery life even though I use them a lot.

There is also a ‘Find my Buds’ option in case you can’t find them! The sound/microphone quality is excellent and I’ve not experienced any drop outs on calls. I really like the noise cancelling and ambient sound features, as you can hear things around you while on your phone or cut the noise out completely which is good if trying to listen carefully to a call.

To control the buds you just need to tap them a varying numbers of times to pause, skip, rewind and answer calls or touch & hold to switch noise, voice command or volume (depending on your settings) or decline a call.

Really wish I’d got these much sooner, so much better than my old earphones!.

Whats Bad: 1. Reset(7times press) required many times as the earbuds stop connecting after taken out of the charging case. 2. Also faced one earbud (say left) getting connected to Phone as soon as I took it out of charging case, while the other remained connected to the PC if you had separately connected them while one of them was in charging case.

3. If user buys two Earbuds(JLAB earbuds pro) in same home, as the earbud has same name as other, User doesn’t know which earbud is connected, untill user disconnects all earbuds from connected devices and takes them out of charging case one at a time and connects.

4. Renaming the earbuds is only possible through say phone. But that remains with phone only. Which means other devices always recognize the earbuds with their default (factory) names. 5. User cannot shutdown the earbuds using any buttons on it in order to disconnect from connnected device and connect to another.

Only way is put them back in charging case and parallely shutdown the device or disconnect from the device they were last connected with, then take them out of the charging case and connect to new device.

6. On the device they are connected to, disconnect them. As soon as you disconnect, you will hear ‘ready to pair’ voice. Now try connecting or pairing on different device (say phone or ipad or android pad etc.

), you won’t be able to connect or pair. Eventually after few minutes as you are not able to connect to any other device, you will hear the sound ‘ good bye’. Now you can never connect untill you put the earbuds back in the charging device and takeout out again for connecting.

Put them back in charging case, and take out again to connect to a device, the device cannot search or find the ‘JLab Go air pop’ name. 7. If you are not able to connect with step 6 then you have to put the earbuds in charging case and tap on the earbuds 7x times to reset it (which means same for other earbuds also).

Then take out the earbuds, they get paired with any device. 8. The fingers grip is not good While taking them out of charging case, means more chances of them slipping away from hand or due to strong magnet pull from charging case they keep falling back in case.

Whats Good: 1. Sound quality is good 2. Bass is good. 3. for taking calls say 5-10 times a day with moderate 10-15mins duration, they are good for whole day. 4. For long duration of music listening, will last approx for 4hrs+.

I’ve had one pair for three years and after this night I had to write a review, I’ll put a tldr at the end. Some context on me, I’m a brute force, dirty forgetful idiot. I use to buy skull candy earbuds and every two weeks had to get a new pair so when I upgraded to jlab I was very happy to find their basic headphones could survive me for a full year+.

After about 3 years I needed some earbuds for working out, yeah COVID dreams of getting shredded didn’t work out but these earbuds did. I typically hate earbuds as my ears are either freakishly small or the absolute Shrek ear wax that forms makes them smaller.

Well jlab deliveries again and these things are hella comfy and don’t fall out. Now skip two years and I’m working in a warehouse so imagine the dust sweat and other grime that gets on these things. They’re still kicking and going though a bit beat up and slightly faded but sound and quality are still great.

I drop them so often, step on them, leave them my hot car and so on. So skip to present and I had lost them 6 days ago, turned my house inside down and figured I managed to lose them finally. Come tonight and apparently they kept the charge long enough for me to figure out they were in the house by my phone connecting to them, and tracked them to my currently running washing machine.

They were in a puddle, soaking wet but low and behold they STILL WORK without any issues. To top this off this is THE SECOND TIME I’VE DONE THIS. Safe to say these things aren’t water resistant but water proof.

I understand companies can change how good their products are so I’ll update if they’re just as good but if they’re even a fraction of the quality it’s still worth the 20$. TLDR; I’m a dirty, Shrek ear, forgetful idiot whose dropped and put these poor earbuds through a wash cycle twice but their still kicking 10/10 would highly recommend.

I purchased these headphones as a Birthday gift to myself, I was willing to pay for a more expensive set, however after reading the review of both the $300 price level and these, everyone really had the same complaints regardless of price.

So I settled on these as the price point made sense and I was just going to use them while lumping around the house so others didn’t hear my phones annoying sounds. I do already own some very expensive and mid level headphones for work and other activities, so I feel I can give a good comparison to these ones.

The Good: Decent sound quality, touch controls for volume, track & call control, a microphone for taking calls (did not expect at this price point), light weight, great battery life (better than any of my others), can use one earphone at a time (which I prefer for taking calls), noise blocking (similar to ear plug), Google, Alexa and Siri controls, 2 year Warranty! The not so good: These are a bit lacking in the bass department, they also lack noise cancelation for calls (you get a lot of background noise), lack of hear through (at times I prefer to be able to hear my surroundings).

Obviously some more expensive headphones will perform better in these departments. Conclusion: I am certainly glad I settled on these. I’m very impressed with the quality and features they did come with.

It sure makes me wonder what margin these expensive headphones are making as I’m sure the added features they have don’t cost much more to produce, at least I won’t feel bad if I lose one of the JLab earphones.

The JLab headphones have been a great purchase and great value, I purchased a second pair to have lying around the house when I need them. I highly recommend these!.

The ear buds come in a strong, durable plastic case that comfortably slides into your pocket. I found charging to be very quick and particularly liked the orange glow that was visible through the lid whilst charging.

Battery life was more than sufficient for my needs. The longest period I used them for was about 3 hours after which I popped them back in the case and the battery was topped up. The strong magnets hold the earbuds securely in the case and avoid them being accidentally dropped when opening the case.

Particularly useful at the gym. Tried all the different sized ear tips and found the middle sized tip to be the most comfortable. They fit securely and never felt as though they were about to fall out.

Ideal for exercising as opposed to the over the head headphones that can sometimes be difficult to keep in place when exercising on treadmills etc. The Sony Headphone Connect app was very straightforward to download onto my iPhone and iPad by scanning the QR code found on the leaflet.

The push button controls on the ear buds were easy to use. The left ear controlling the volume – tap to increase and hold down to reduce volume. Tapping the right ear enabled the music to be paused. I was impressed by the volume range and even at high volume there was no distortion to the sound.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of sound on incoming telephone calls. The music was paused and the sound was exceptionally clear and the caller had no problem in hearing my voice through the microphone.

By accessing the app you can play around with the various sound adjustments to easily find the most pleasing for your individual requirements. Overall I find it extremely difficult to criticize anything on the WF-C500 ear buds.

They offer exceptional value for money.

I was tossing up between these and the Jabra Elite 3’s, which are slightly cheaper, but decided on these as I already have the WH-1000XM4’s so wanted to control both through the same (Android) app. I have had these for a month now and have zero regrets with this purchase.

I use these on my commute (walking), and at the gym (cycling), also while chewing gum and I’ve had no issues with them falling out. They come with the standard 3 different-sized rubber ear buds so if you have had success with these in wired earbuds then you should have no issues here.

The shape of the headphones themselves probably lend themselves to staying in better than regular wired headphones as well. The build quality is solid, with strong magnets to keep them in position within the case.

You get a helpful voice notification telling you Bluetooth is connected and battery status when you put them in. Sound quality is good, they are obviously not noise-cancelling but if you’re using these while being active you may not miss that feature (I certainly don’t).

You can also tweak some of the sound settings within the app, which works really well. I’ve been using these consistently and not had any issues with the lack of extra charging capacity from the case that was mentioned in other reviews.

Finally the shortcuts make sense, with volume/skip/start/stop controls by pressing a button on the earpiece itself. I mostly just use start/stop and it works well. Overall I would highly recommend these headphones!.

Okay pair of headphones, decent bass response but a bit too much treble but you get used to it after a few days. Some faults/quirky bits: It does not natively control the volume on MacOS, it has its own volume gauge that if you turn up on the headphones and then adjust it on your Mac or Macbook it will default back to the last volume that you had before you adjusted it on the headphones, pretty annoying.

Also at a low volume say 1 – 3 there is some stereo drift where the left headphone does get lower than the right, also pretty annoying. Also you need to disconnect it from your computer and the reconnect it to your phone manually if you want to switch, pretty annoying.

For other uses like listening to sleep music, it is impossible to use as the buttons cannot be disabled and if you sleep on your side they will be pressed by your head pushing into the pillow, and again, pretty annoying.

These are good for a back up pair of headphones which they are to me. These headphones made me realise headphones are now one of those items you have to buy at an expensive price like shoes, or a mattress because they will last and give good returns, not make you waste 15 minutes writing a review.

I would invest at least another $150-200 for wireless headphones if you want a daily driver that performs and lasts.

I researched for earbuds that don’t push inside the ear canal because I cannot stand that, it’s too uncomfortable for me, I’m used to wearing over the ear headphones; and I wanted something that looks pretty and don’t fall out easily so I can use them during workout.

These earbuds fit what I wanted. The color is very pretty (rose gold), although the bean shape might seem weird at first, but they look very good when put on, they don’t stick out too much which is good for when I laid my head on the pillow on the side.

As for the fit, the box comes with 2 sizes of wings (small and large), neither small or large wings fit my ears, the buds would always fall out on their own and my ears will hurt after wearing them after a while, and no matter how I adjust the angles I put on the earbuds, they won’t fit! I was about to return them because of the poor fit, but I found some medium size wings online; and when I put the earbuds with the medium size wings on, omg they finally stay on my ears without falling out and feel comfortable enough to wear for hours! With the medium wings I bought, these buds stayed on even when I work out and when I shake my head really fast.

Future note for Samsung, please include medium size wings for you earbuds, it makes no sense to only have small and large sizes. For battery life, I found that these buds would last about 4. 5 hours with continuous use with mid-high volume, but they charge pretty fast in the case.

When I put them back in the case for about 15 minutes, the buds would have over 50% battery. With the buds and case fully charged, they last approximately 17-18 hours (based on my usage), I usually charge the case every 3 or 4 days depending on how much I use them.

I like that the case can be wirelessly charged, it’s very convenient for me. Now let’s talk about the sound of these earbuds, I mainly listen to rock and metal music, and these buds can handle some subgenres of rock but not others.

For example, they can’t handle the complex sounds of shoegaze, no wave, heavy metal. etc. Anything that involves multiple instruments producing complicated layers of sounds, these buds can’t handle them very well.

Maybe I’m spoiled by my Marshall headphones that are designed to be more powerful and better for listening to rock and metal, I just can’t distinguish the different layers of sounds with these earbuds, the sounds are all meshed up together or too distorted.

However, these earbuds do have some powerful bass for their small size! I listened to some bass heavy songs, and these buds deliver them all very well. Overall, I don’t recommend these earbuds for people who’s going to use them mainly for listening to rock and metal music.

But to be fair, I probably shouldn’t be comparing these earbuds to headphones which are designed to be more powerful, these buds produce clear sounds for most other genres like ballad, jazz, blue. and watching videos or listening to podcasts.

And I only use these buds occasionally when I’m working out and laying on bed watching videos, so they’re good for my usage. Last thing I want to mention is the active noise cancellation (ANC), they’re definitely not the best ANC earbuds, they draw out most low frequency sounds but even with the volume set to highest and ANC on, I can pretty much hear everything surrounding me.

However, the design is open-ear, and I think Samsung does advertise the ANC to only be able to block out low frequency sounds so I wasn’t expecting much noise cancellation with these earbuds. In conclusion, I would recommend these earbuds to those like me who cannot stand to wear earbuds that push into ear canal, produce decent sounds with good bass, don’t mind the weak ANC, comfortable to wear for hours (with the right fit), and good quality.

Ive had these for a short while and they were. okay in the beginning. I was accustomed to more cheaper price point cordless earphones specifically Altec Lansing nanopods so its not like i dont know how to use them.

But the issue for those was they werent made for longevity, glitched out occasionally and were generally just okay quality given their low price. So i decided to invest in some good cordless earphones and as a fan of samsung over apple products i opted for this one.

Their look surprised me and were a bit confusing about how to insert into the ear since they werent very ‘typically’ shaped (i had to watch a youtube video just to figure it out) but it wasnt a big deal.

The real issue was the performance. The pods had a lot of cool features such as synching to my samsung phone and letting me see the battery level of not just the pods themselves but also the charging case.

But that feature is utterly useless when the pods stop working even when the battery is supposedly full. But that can be fixed by just continuously tapping the glitching earpod until it desides to work or straight up taking it out and rolling it between your hands.

Audio phases out for no reason on both pods (a recently developed problem) and you essentially need to disconnect, plug them into their case, take them out again, AND THEN you can use them. Its a lot of very tempermental audio performance that requires you to use two hands to fix so you need to basically stop everything youre doing when it decides to fizzle out or youll be stuck listening to a crackling staticy-earbud.

Now, no piece of technology is without its issues. But to have this amount of incosistency, annoying devlopments, and glitches for something that cost $100+? No. Absolutely not. I invested into this pair of earphones because i wanted the longevity and quality that a price point like that would guarentee.

But honestly the $30 dollar headphones i used before preformed more consistently than these did in the short while i had them. Not worth the annoyance of constantly fixing and definitly not worth the price you pay for them.

Ill definitly be retunjng and looking to buy a different set of samsung headphones, whether ill like those remains to be see but as for this model, make, and pair? Dont even bother. They work. Sometimes.

But when youre paying a lot for something it shouldnt work ‘sometimes’ it should work, period.

Have been using these for at least 8 months now and still work close to brand new. Audio quality is good but not the best, sometimes I feel like its missing a bit in bass but thats expected due the lack of full sealing of my ear canal (but I would say the bass amount is impressive for this earbud type).

Also, remember to select dynamic in earbud settings for best audio quality. This product can be a bit fiddly when getting the right fit, it pretty much is based on your ear shape, for me it fits amazing in the left but a tad bit loose in the right but not the point it would fall out, but once it’s in, I can’t even feel it.

There is no point buying this product for noise cancelling, it just does nothing in that regard. Durability is quite good, I have dropped these a few times and there are some minor scratches on them, but unnoticeable from afar.

Everyone would rather compliment on how shiny it is or why it looks like a bean. One thing I have noticed is the battery life has decreased overtime for the charging case but I think this is normal for a product I have used daily for the last 8 months.

Battery life on a whole is quite decent, 6 hours from both buds is great and its always charging when its in the case if the case is not dead. The touch controls are average in my opinion, at first it was a bit annoying because my touch wouldn’t register every time, but after using it for a month, I was more accustomed to where I should tap on the bud and it worked most of the time.

Connectivity is quite good with bluetooth 5. 0 devices but may lack in range with bluetooth 4. 0 devices. However, I love how seamless it is to switch between devices you have paired it to. Not to confuse you, it cannot stay connected to two or more devices at once, but switching between devices is fast.

Overall, this product is great for what it is. At first it may be a bit odd with the shape and fit, but once it fits into your daily life, the process living with it is quite natural. One thing I forgot to mention before was that the snapping of the case is quite satisfying.

The OnePlus Buds is really a great device at Rs 4999. Worth every penny. Go for it. I am sure you won’t repent it. Purchased it at a OnePlus experience store. The noise cancellation is just excellent !!PS: Using it with a OnePlus phone.

First off, I’d like to note that I find the sound quality of these headphones very good. I’m not an audiophile but I think that all the customization features present within the app coupled with the ANC and transparency modes should leave the average user very happy and satisfied.

Yes, the ANC is not on the level of some other headphones that I’ve used but it’s definitely more than passable in every day situations, granted I haven’t tested it in the ideal environment to test ANC – on an airplane.

In terms of fit and comfort, I think these past muster as well. They came with the medium ‘wings’ already installed, but no gel tips installed. I went ahead and tried the smallest size gel tips (size 0 according to their scale) because those are the size that generally work best for my ears amongst all brands.

So, with the small gel tips and medium wings, I find these very comfortable and very stable. The wings are very soft and don’t bother the cartilaginous portions of my ears at all. Additionally, I’ve tried shaking my head and jumping up and down to try and dislodge these, but they don’t come loose.

I don’t even get the urge to try and push them back into my ears like I do with some other earbuds. So, I think Anker/Soundcore nailed it in these departments. So, then why only 4 stars? Well, I feel there are design and/or engineering issues that I just don’t understand how these issues could end up in the final, shipping product.

The case – I love that the method of opening the case is the slide back lid that Anker/Soundcore have used previously. However, I don’t love how slippery the case is. It’s a plastic, matte finish that just slides through your fingers.

I don’t know if this is to give the case a more ‘premium’ feel as compared to a possible future ‘sports’ version that may have a more rubbery case, but they should put function over form, not the other way around.

Next, the inside of the case is shiny molded plastic. The problem is that the shininess of the plastic makes it very difficult to tell in which direction to place the buds back in. Yes, you can see the charging leads as well as a little red ‘R’ to guide you, but even with those ‘hints’ I find it very difficult to figure out which way the buds are supposed to fit back in the case.

Now, taking the buds out of the case. Again, they seemed to have made this more difficult than it needed to be. The buds don’t have a good point of contact to grab onto, so they are very difficult to pull out of the case.

And, once I do finally pull them out, I end up dropping either one or both just trying to fiddle with them to get them in the correct orientation prior to putting them in my ears. That’s next – putting them in your ears.

I have a feeling Anker/Soundcore must have realized that these are confusing to get oriented correctly to put in your ears because they included a 4 or 5 step diagram the second you open the package trying to explain to you how they are supposed to not only fit into your ears, but how you’re supposed to hold them prior to putting them in your ears.

This should have been a red flag to either engineering or marketing that the design is confusing. Moreover, I think the diagram is incorrect! The way they want you to hold the buds prior to putting them in your ears doesn’t make sense – the picture shows that you have to hold them with the gel tips facing ‘up;’ however, it’s literally impossible to put them in your ears this way.

So, I actually think that’s a mistake in the quick start guide. Regardless, the good news is that once you do finally get them out of the case, oriented correctly in your hands and then into your ears, the sound is great and the fit is comfortable and secure.

Once you’re done listening though, good luck getting them back into the case in less than 10 seconds and with less than 2 slips out of your hands and less than 2 twirls of the buds to finally get them in the right orientation to snap into the case.

I have rated these earphones based on the fact that I have small ear canals. I bought these as a birthday present to myself. I was fed up of being uncomfortable wearing over the ears wireless headphones with my glasses.

The sound and noise cancelling quality is really really good and it is really easy to switch device using them which was important to me. The microphone is 99% reliable. What has surprised me is the range! I listen to webinars whilst doing chores and can leave my phone downstairs and go upstairs and still pick up the sound.

I’m not 100% satisfied though but mainly because I have small ear canals. Even with the smaller soft ear covers. After an hour of wearing them for training they either become uncomfortable or start sliding out of my ears.

I’ve had to hold them in once. They also don’t stay in whilst I’m walking. I’ve had to rescue them from the road a few times. and of course when they fall out the sound is paused. I have not go the hang of tapping yet.

The case looks smart but I need a non-slip grip cover as the case has slipped through my fingers few times now. Needless to say my buds and case are beautifully dented now in places. It’s a shame as the sound quality is great but they don’t suit my small ears.

I think I’m better off with ones you don’t insert into your ear and maybe ones for sport. I wouldn’t recommend if you have small ears.

These buds have potential as a basic set of in-home entertainment earbuds, but endded up having more cons than pros for me. Starting with the positive, a main pro is its pretty good sound at this price in the earbud category.

Its not going to rival even a decent pair of cans, but for listening to TV, Music, or even basic gaming at home, these arent bad. Decent punchy bass for action, fairly clear mids and highs. Nothing that’ll blow you away, and not really what I would use for getting lost in Tchaikovsky, but also noticibly better than buds at or below they’re price point.

Connecting to devices also generally works well and goes without a hitch. That being said, there are lots of cons. The main 2 for me are battery life and the case. The battery life for these is about 5 hours with my iphone and about 3 hours with my computer.

Not much. I’m currently trying to see what different set of buds I want now to use while these are charging, so, yeah. Also, the case is verrry annoying. It tries overly hard to snap shut at all times just because of how slippery and awkward the design is.

You’ll be trying to get them out one late night in the living room and… SNAP! Over and over again, making noise that’s sure to wake your significant other and children up. Also, no wireless charging, which, i get these aren’t $200 bucks, but if I can buy a charging puck for 5 bucks, the tech can’t be that exspensive to add and really would have given a reason for the cheapo case.

Not a big gripe unless your environment is set up to do it, really makes things easier. Also notable, the buds do stick out a bit and have a physical button on them, so you wont be able to set your head on its side while wearing them, such as on a pillow.

They are also pretty susceptible to interference and easy signal blocking. And, a personal gripe, they don’t tend to stay in my ear very well while doing anything of basic activity, we’re talking even just washing the car.

That’s more of a problem with my ear I suppose, but seems a pretty common gripe, so just go in knowing that. So, yeah, 3 out of 5 from me.

As with any Sony product the WF-C500 ear buds come in simple, classy and well designed packaging that now avoids plastic so is easily recycled. I have a confession to make…. I’m not a techie………but I love a gadget so don’t want to be wasting time on complicated instructions and was pleased to find the usual Sony quick steps diagram and a QR code that once scanned leads you to an easily installed and intuitive headphone app which meant I could quickly start putting the buds through their paces.

While the case itself isn’t the most expensive looking bit of kit it does feel sturdy and it’s angled base gives it an up to date appearance. The buds come with a choice of large/medium or small ear tips and the ergonomic design of the buds themselves make for a snug fit which makes them easy to wear for extended periods of time.

As you take the buds from the case the voice prompt, a nice touch, informs you of the battery level and connectivity status and so far, whether using my phone or tablet to connect, the Bluetooth link has been swift and trouble free.

And so to the most important part of the review…. how do they sound? While not a techie I do love my music so put them through their paces testing them from AC/DC to John Martyn and the classics. The app enables you to easily tailor their set up and includes pre sets, a graphic equaliser, bass boost and Sony’s additional DSEE (digital sound enhancement engine) option which upscales the audio.

Also included is a 360 Reality Audio format but this sadly will only work with a limited number of streaming services none of which I subscribe to so was unable to test. Having chosen a set up to compliment my music choice I must say I was really impressed with the quality of the sound.

I have a much more expensive pair of headphones [Sony of course] that I can’t help comparing the ear buds to and must say they performed very well indeed. Certainly the bass level isn’t ‘booming’ but this isn’t always a bad thing as often too much bass can change the feel of a track as much as too too much treble.

These ear buds play to the middle ground being neither too rich nor too ‘tinny’. My go to track to test any system is John Martyn’s ‘Small Hours’ and these did a great job, revealing the complexity of the many layers present that allow you to drift along on it’s dreamlike quality, very impressive! I like the fuss free controls, the left bud controls the volume and the right play and pause, they also have a very reasonable 20hr battery life.

To sum up I know these aren’t the most expensive ear buds available but they don’t feel or sound ‘cheap’. They are well built, comfortable and easy to wear, have simple controls, link easily with phone or tablet, have a reasonable battery life and more than do justice to a range of music genre and podcasts.

`True they don’t include noise cancelling but they do have. a good volume level and have a clarity that enhances any track which means you can concentrate on the music and avoid external distractions.

I’m looking forward to spending more time with them!.

Headphones and Ear-Buds likes these come in both Wired and Bluetooth versions these days. Both styles have advantages and disadvantages and in order to see how being wired or not wired affects performance and features, you have to read the owner’s manual whether you think that’s cool or not.

I’m reasonably technically minded but there are some features and operating methods that you can’t find by just poking and guessing. It’s worth the time to get everything you can out of these earbuds.

You’ll have to learn the various tapping and poking codes for controlling the performance of the WF-C500 Ear-Buds Features: – Up to 10 hours run time when in the ear – Up to 20 hours running time from power stored in caring-case with no external a/c.

Good for wilderness camping etc. – Frequency response can be varied with the Sony Connect App – Sweat and Splash Proof, with an IPX4 Rating – Can be used/controlled as a single ear-bud so you can hear ambient sounds if desired – Phone calls can be answered by the ear-bud’s controls with phone still in pocket – 1 year Warranty against defects in materials or workmanship – Plays “Experience 360 Reality Audio” from some Music Providers (Amazon Music HD, Deezer etc.

) PROS: – C500 Ear-Buds are light, comfortable and secure. – Using the Sony App, the frequency range can be adjusted for clear voice or rich music. CONS: – Like all totally wireless Ear-Buds, scratching an ear or resting your head on a pillow can accidentally affect a control causing a phone-call to be canceled or a recording to be paused – No physical wire between ear-buds means you can sometime lose a knocked out ear-bud before you notice it’s gone.

Conclusion: The Sony C500 Ear-Buds are a mid-range design with nice performance, sound and look. Unlike the top-range Sony Ear-Buds, they are not Noise Cancelling, so if you’re looking for something to save your hearing while cutting the lawn, you’ll need to look at the higher models.

Purchased last month for noise cancellation and better comfort than my wrap-around regular earbuds, which press uncomfortably on ear canal when wearing more than a short time and lacked noise cancelation.

The Bose QC Earbuds design effectively stay in with soft, flexible wings that comfortably hold in the ear. Bose gives you three wing sizes to find the best fit. This design is made for those that want a comfortable earbud that stays in.

Additionally, they are more comfortable than my traditional, wrap around earbuds because the earbuds have an open umbrella shape and rest on the ear canal instead of narrower and resting inside the ear canal.

That makes them much more comfortable than traditional wrap around ones for anything longer than short periods. The Bose QC Earbuds have very well-designed features as well. You can select four listening styles that match your listening and environment, like Music, Walking, and Quiet as well as selecting how much noise canceling you want with each.

Quiet, of course, gives maximum NC, but others can be personalized to your preferences. The Aware setting is particularly impressive and amazing by allowing awareness, as the name says, of your surroundings, yet increasing the NC whenever intrusive noises arise and increase to moderate those, giving you a more stable volume in dynamic sound environments.

I tested these settings on a jet flight days ago. Engine noise dramatically reduced with the Quiet mode. The Aware mode moderated the engine and other background noise as passengers boarded, yet allowed the flight attendant to be heard clearly giving the safety instructions.

Amazing that Bose design can allow voices to come through while still cutting background sound. Of course, the sound lives up to Bose high standards along with the case and the way the buds fit as the buds drop securely in place for storage and charging.

In summary, Bose designed one of the best, if not the best, earbuds for versatile, intuitive noise canceling, comfort, and great sound. Beyond that, those who want earbuds that stay in place as well will be hard pressed to find better earbuds.

I got this as a present on Christmas. I am somewhat of an audiophile – and in terms of overall sound quality, I have no complaints. The controllable EQ on the Bose Music app is a very nice touch. But I have a few questions: 1.

Why the design of the earbud? I truly believe it was a missed opportunity that these eartips just kinda sit on top of the ear instead of going inside. The natural noise isolation of any in-canal earbuds are superior and superb, as from experience, some of my deep in-ear EIMs I own are better at blocking out sound than every noise cancelling product I own, which says a lot.

It doesn’t block 100% of sound, but it would be nearly so if Bose’s QuietComfort technology was combined with the passive noise isolation of in-canal earbuds. Like… just why? You kinda ruined the entire point of the earbuds.

Because they only sit on the ear, they don’t block out a lot more of the sound without the noise cancellation (which in my experience is pretty good but nowhere near perfect) than it could potentially have.

I guess it may be from people who dislike earbuds going deep in their ear, but whatever, I guess. Also, it’s been a few weeks since having these but I’m still not perfect at putting them in my ear. It’s a learning experience in itself, just to wear the earbuds correctly, which although I don’t mind personally, I would assume many people would.

2. Is it intentional that there is a constant hissing sound when the noise cancellation level is below ~7? It makes sense that the “aware mode” (aka level 0 cancellation) picks up environmental sound, and has a slight hissing noise, but that’s just unreasonable when the noise cancellation is on at all.

The feature of external mics picking up environmental sounds and sending it back into our ears should be completely shut off if the noise cancelling is on at all, otherwise I do not have a choice between just having passive non-noise cancellation and aware mode… unless it isn’t intended and there is a severe flaw with the earbuds themselves? Ultimately, they are quite convenient and I guess it’s sometimes nice to have a break from having earbuds deep into my ear canal, as they are pretty comfortable to wear (although it took quite long to learn how to wear them comfortably), and considering their price, I would assume it’s better to pay a bit more for the new Sony WF-1000XM4s.

But since I didn’t pay for them, and they work as intended to the basic level, I won’t complain. I do use them almost everyday since I got them, which must say something. And again, they do sound nice.

People have been saying that the bass was muddy but honestly it sounds great, and is definitely a satisfactory product for bassheads.

So I’ve owned Bose Soundsport and Bose noise-cancelling headphones for several years now and have absolutely loved them. So when I wanted to update to wireless earbuds, I figured I’d go with Bose again because of their outstanding quality and reliability.

Sadly, my confidence in Bose has been severely shaken after purchasing these Quiet Comfort earbuds. Now, when they work they are pretty solid. I thought the sound was great, the noise cancelling worked well and the fit was fairly comfortable.

Unfortunately, less than a week after purchasing them the left earbud went dead while I was on vacation and wouldn’t charge. I tried all of the trouble shooting tips, but nothing would work. So I finished my vacation with one earbud (which was a pain) and decided I would would just exchange them when I got home.

After doing just that the new pair worked very well for a period of time. Of course wouldn’t you know it, but here I am on vacation again and now the right one this time won’t charge and the earbuds won’t work at all.

Of course none of the recommended troubleshooting techniques work (shocker) and I’m again stuck with dead earbuds while I’m out of town. I suppose when I get home I’ll see if I can return or maybe exchange them, but either way these earbuds have been nothing but a hassle since I bought them and I really don’t know if I can ever trust Bose enough to buy one of their products again.

Based on some of the reviews on here other people have experienced this issue and perhaps Bose should look into why it’s happening this often.

Having returned earbuds to another well known manfacturer because of disappoiting sound quality I approached these Sony earbuds without great expectations. A very helpful man in the store suggested them.

My first reaction was negative as the packing is quite crazy – endless pointless layers of cardboard and I hope I never have to re-package the product for return. The ‘instruction sheets’ (five of them!) were clearly desigmed to be read with a microscope, so I found the manual on the net.

Once charged the earbuds connected easily with my Andoid phone so things were improving. The sound quality is very good – very clear treble and mid range. Yes, the bass is a bit weak (probably almost impossible with transducers that are this small) but it’s adequate.

Pop music enthusiasts may be less happy – sorry all my listening is classical – but to me the bass is OK. It’s clearly important to get a good fit in your ears so do experiment with different silicon earpieces (only three sizes are supplied) and I’m still playing with them.

The Bluetooth range seems fine. I’m currently listening about 5m from my phone. and going upstairs into the furthest bedroom didn’t cause a dropout (no,I don’t live in a large mansion!) But overall warmly recommended.

and remarkably good value at the John Lewis discounted price (others seem to match this price but John Lewis would always be my chosen retailer!).

I purchased these on June 04, 2021 and they have been perfect with my Pixel 4a 5g. until now. I’m currently having an issue with my Pixel Buds A-Series charging case. At times it does not properly detect its own charge level and will not properly charge.

It will display as 100% when plugged in, despite me having used it several times. I have contacted customer service for assistance and have been offered an exchange and was looking forward to returning to a trouble free experience but received an email asking if I wanted a refurbished device as they are all out of new ones.

Seeing as how the device was new when I purchased it, I would rather have a new replacement as well. I am currently awaiting a response and will update this review accordingly. I really did enjoy these buds when they were working.

Update 9/13/21:My replacement pair came in and are working good however the pair that I sent back has not been received by Google yet and I have been charged. So until google refunds me for the original pair, I essentially paid $200 for these pixel buds.

I am hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. Update: I have received my refund and am enjoying the use of my new pixel buds but am having connectivity/cut out issues when I go jogging. This is mainly because there are open areas where the Bluetooth signals are unable to bounce off walls and head back towards the pixel buds.

This is an inherent flaw with any wireless earbuds, but it could be reduced by increasing the amount of lag time to receive signals and allow pre-buffering of music by a little bit.

I had tried about 7 different earbuds brands in last one year and finally I decided to go for Anker Brand. Searched for buying it from Anker India official website, but there was no option to buy it directly from Anker website.

Anker website directed me to Flipkart website to buy it. This was the biggest mistake I had done by ordering from Flipkart. The Harassment journey began here. I was Shocked when I received the shipment – 1.

Received a TOTALLY DIFFERENT ITEM. 2. Received a Customer Used and Returned item with visible signs of use. 3. Found a Invoice in the Name of Previous Customer inside the Brand Product Box. 4. The Inner Brand Product Box was RESEALED.

Box was resealed using a cello tape which was put over the company cello tape which was already open. 5. It was a Flipkart Assured Item, now, how should I trust that I will get a Genuine Brand New Company Sealed item in Replacement ?6.

It was a very very disgusting and shocking purchase experience causing severe mental Harassment for days. 7. When I placed a return request, I was asked to cancel this first Return Request and Place a New Second Return Request with mentioning all the reasons for return.

8. Till Next day, I was not able to place a return request because No Return Request Option was visible there. 9. I was getting PUNISHMENT for a Fraudulent Act done by others. 10. Even after paying for the item, I have to still wait for another 8 to 10 days to get the replacement, I don’t know when I will get it.

It’s a Most Shocking and HARASSING experience. My Trust in Flipkart and Anker is really shattered.

I’ve purchased the Soundcore Dot 2 earbuds twice within the past 4 months. The first set stopped keeping a charge within 3 weeks. The case was fully charged but the earbuds would have the “battery low” and disconnect.

I figured maybe it was flawed? I took them back into Walmart since it had only been around 15 days since I purchased them. I did an exchange and hoped the second pair would be better. It wasn’t. This second pair is now doing the same and it’s been 6 weeks.

When they are charged, I only get around 3 hours of battery I’ve. Sound is ok, but definitely not noise canceling. The right ear goes out faster than the left. I’m not trying again on a 3rd set. I also noticed that the price went up in the past few weeks after I exchanged! So your product sucks yet you hike up the price?? I’m giving an honest review and I hope it helps someone make a decision whether to purchase.

The battery life just doesn’t last on these. You’ll either be returning them or throwing away your money. I’ll be looking for other options.

I am totally impressed with the Liberty Air 2 for quality, sound, style and comfort. Make sure you grab their app at your phone’s app store so you can tune them in for your ear’s delight. If you don’t that is ok because they sound great right out of the box.

They are very easy to use with a slight tap to control its features. As for comfort Soundcore provides several soft silicone ear canal tips to comfortably fit most, if not all, users. The battery life is great and the carrying case provides 2 additional charges for charging when you are not near a power source.

Charging is simple with the provided usb cord. When they arrive or you pick them up check out the detail in Soundcore’s packaging. I love these headphones. Way to go Soundcore!.
