20 Best Wireless Charger For Z Fold 3 (2023 Updated)

This is an excellent MagSafe charging solution with a couple of small, but important, features that make it stand out. First, its magnet attaches very securely to an iPhone, including the heaviest model that I use, the iPhone 12 Pro Max with Apple’s clear MagSafe Case.

The charger attaches with a click and has never become unattached unexpectedly. The bottom of the charger has a rubber grip surface which makes it both stay in place and does not scratch. It does not slide around my desk like other MagSafe chargers I have used.

I also like the curvy, rounded design. The rubber closure with a snap tab is quite handy. It initially seemed superfluous, but I use it every time I move the charger, and it doesn’t get tangled with the many other cords and cables I carry.

Finally, and I know this is just personal taste, but I appreciate that it comes in black. If I’m going to use a charging cable in my car, I don’t like a white cable “announcing” that I potentially have an Apple device to steal!.

I have four other wireless charging solutions at my house and office. Two are stands, one is a pad, and one is an official MagSafe charger. I’m comparing my experience to those. Things I love: – The unit feels high quality.

The plastic has a good texture to it, the cables are Belkin quality, and the added cable management strap is a bonus – It’s fast. The magnet locks on and stays in place. Connected to a 30W USB-C wall adapter, it seems to charge my iPhone 12 quickly – It works as advertised.

It’s easy to pick up the phone with the charger attached and kept doing what you had set out to do. Things I don’t love – The packaging. It feels out of character for Belkin, but the unit seemed haphazardly crammed in the box and not representative of what I’m accustomed to.

– The shape of the charging head. It attaches strongly and stays in place well. BUT the very curves and rubber footing that make it easy to hold also make it seem less stable flat on my desk. I’d trade a little bit of handheld comfort for a flusher feel when it’s lying down.

Overall Great unit. Exceptional performance for wireless charging. And a really nice build.

This is the first time I’ve had a good experience with wireless chargers. This wireless charging puck clicks into place with ease, no longer do I have to worry about aligning my phone properly on a pad to get it to work.

The charger freely rotates once on the phone, making it easy to use it while charging. If you are familiar with an Apple Watch charger, this works the same way, it has magnets in it that lets it click into place easy.

One thing to note, is it doesn’t come with a charging brick, you need a usb c one to charge it. I just used the one that came with one of my other Apple devices. I was able to charge it with a MagSafe compatible Apple leather case on my phone, and it left no marks on the case afterwards.

I’d recommend this for people who want to be able charge their phone without have to plug it into a cord. Oh, and it comes with a 6. 6 foot cord, so you can plug it in to the wall, and have plenty of leeway on where to put your phone.

This is such a nice 3-in-1 charging station. It charges my every day items all in one spot with having to only use one charging cable. Not only does having one cable alleviate a tangly mess, but everything is just much neater and easier to move around when needed.

I love that this charging station is backed by Apple. It also offers the faster 15W charging for the iPhone. It is just a tad dated now that the Apple Watch 7 has faster charging capabilities; however, I only ever find myself charging my watch at night, which does not require the quicker charging.

I also have my fast charging cable in the off-chance I will need a quick charge for my watch. I love the subtle little light that communicates charging status. It is so subtle that it is not bothersome while I asleep.

The station is quite heavy, so removing my phone from the sturdy magnet connection does not lift the stand. My phone is securely in place until I want to remove it and then it is simple, effortless, and requires only one hand.

The material is grippy and reminds you of a silicone case with the way it can attract dust. However, every part of this feels and screams quality. I use an Apple leather case and this MagSafe connector does cause a ring, but this is something that is known and something that doesn’t bother me, but I do mention this for those who this will bother.

This charging station looks (and is) neat, is high quality, is backed by Apple, easily connects to charging my devices without ever causing worry that something isn’t charging, and creates a secure magnetic connection that is easily severed when desired.

This is a wonderful little charging station. At its high cost, this is certainly a luxury item and it is one that I have considered for a year (due to its price point), but I have been very happy with finally giving in to making the purchase since I first set this up.

I highly recommend this as a luxury purchase.

I’ve owned this product for two months now. The build quality is very high. It works well holding my iPhone 13 Pro Max. My phone has an Apple branded MM313ZM/A Clear Case-ZML and the stand has no issue what-so-ever holding the phone.

I’ve seen a couple other reviews stating it couldn’t hold the 12 Pro Max. Make sure you have a certified MagSafe case or you probably will have issues with any MagSafe stand. Seriously people, if you purchase a $9.

99 case on Amazon it isn’t a certified MagSafe compatible case. And you need to be careful with any one that you purchase that says its MagSafe as they could be lying. The stand has no issue charging both my phone and my wireless iPods.

While I like the stand and would purchase again, there are a couple reasons I haven’t given it an excellent and that you should be aware of. 1) The wireless charging doesn’t seem to turn off or cycles too often and the wireless iPods get and stay very warm to almost hot.

I highly recommend you remove them after charging is complete or just proactively after an hour or so depending on your usage. 2) The cord is a little short and cheap. I could really use about 6 to 8 more inches.

While the stand itself is high quality, it appears the product manager said something like ‘wow we spend too much time and money on the stand, where can we get the cheapest chord possible and don’t worry about safety.

‘ 3) Related to 2 above, why isn’t the chord/charger a USB-C? This would have allowed me to purchase/use a longer chord to meet my needs. Belkin could have easily integrated a sideways lock for the base in a fasion like they did for the traditional plug for a USB-C.

It would have taken them like maybe an extra half hour of engineering and an extra $5 a product for a USB-C. At $99 (on sale) they are already making a huge margin on it. LOL seriously the cable is cheap enough it probably cost Belkin less than a dollar.

Otherwise, if you are okay with the above, I highly recommend this product.

I love all of my Anker brand purchases and this charging stand might be the best item I’ve bought from them yet. The strength of the magnet solidly snaps and holds my phone to the stand, even using a compatible phone case.

I work from home and this charging stand allows me to easily interact with my phone, since it sits up at a nice adjustable angle off the desk, and keep it (and my AirPod Pros) charged throughout the day.

Between this charging stand and my flat wireless charger on my nightstand I think I’ve physically only plugged my phone in a handful of times. I still haven’t bothered with a wireless car charger, some REALLY bad potholes out here that I don’t think even this strong of a magnet could handle.

I highly recommend this charging stand if you have a compatible phone and earbuds!.

This is a very sleek charging stand, but is a bit pricey for what you get. I love that you can charge your phone and AirPods wirelessly at the same time. However, the biggest thing that confuses me about the MagSafe charger is the magnets.

There is clearly a mark on the charger which shows the anti spin magnet under the magnet ring, but there is no anti spin magnet. Because of this the charger moves around pretty easily when not in the base station.

The charging speed is also not ideal since this product is not endorsed by apple, think of this more as a battery extender than a charger. Overall if this actually had the anti spin magnet that they try to fool you into thinking is in there this would be a 5 star review.

I could’ve purchased a ~$100 device that performs the same function but nooooooo, I had to be a cheapo and get this instead. So, if you put on 2-3 devices to charge, only 1 will be charging. Even when I place my AirPods Pro case and my iPhone to charge, the AirPods will charge for a short duration and then stop charging DESPITE it not being anywhere near 80% charged.

To get it charging, I would need to stop charging my iPhone, which defeats the purpose of having a multi-charger in the first place!!! So, this is what one gets for being cheap and buying an unbranded China product.

The fact that this charger is flexible and truly folds makes it a winner for me, simply because that’s neat as all get out. But it also works great. Charges my watch, phone, and AirPods quickly. But that folding? Great for travel, just slip it in a pocket.

I was looking for a coaster type charger that would reduce the number of wires that I need. This is perfect! Charges my iPhone through the case, my Apple watch, and AirPod Pros. Phone did not require a special magnetic case like some of the other chargers do.

And this folds up for travel. Highly recommend!.

I purchased this product to eliminate having multiple chargers for my Apple products (phone, watch and AirPods) when traveling. I was not disappointed! It was easy to pack and took minimal space in my luggage.

I had it mostly in the “lay flat” configuration and it charged pretty quickly. I’ve taken it along during 3 trips so far and I love it!.

So, I bought this just as a lock down treat. First one arrived and had clearly been used before. Even had a return ticket in it marked as faulty. That went back – and Very were excellent in putting it right.

Luckily I had a voucher so got this discounted. Even then it’s expensive. But – this is smart and robust bit of kit. I use it with: iPhone 12 Pro in a leather Apple MagSafe case. Apple Watch Series 6 with after market metal strap EarPod Pro with aftermarket silicon wrap around case.

The device charges all off them all in their cases really well and quickly! Devices don’t get hot. If you take your phone off there is a slight electrical squeal, but nowhere near as bad as some of the cheap charging pads I’ve used.

Overall – looks smart. Does the job. But comes at a cost.

I was unsure if I should buy this from the reviews it gets. I rolled the dice and bought 2 one for me and one for my wife. They both work fine. Charges my wife’s IPhone 13 Pro Max no issue, even with a case on.

The Apple Watch charger dock works well also, as does the charging my Air Pods Pro’s. My wife has mentioned there’s a slight noise from the PSU (Plug) but doesn’t bother her. Mine is completely silent.

I purchased two of these, and at first I thought they were excellent. However within two days I was waking in the night and hearing what I thought was a house alarm in the distance. Turns out the AC plugs for these units emit a very high pitch ‘squeaking’ noise.

I’ve had to return both, as it was happening to two separate units I’d imagine this is an issue with the whole range, and when you google it, it’s a known problem with a number of wireless chargers. Stick with the wires! For an expensive product this is poor and I expected more from a trusted brand like Belkin.

I really like the look and usability of the 2-in-1, but charging is awful. After having it for a week, using multiple different phones with and without cases, it fails to charge the phone fully overnight.

On the first night, my 13 Pro Max went from 18% to 98% after being on the stand by itself for 6. 5 hours. The next day, I decided to turn off optimize battery charging and after 7 hours, it went from 19% to 97% in 7 hours.

I had similar results when I tried to charge my 13 Pro and iPhone 12. Every time, it was also just charging the phone. This could be a software related issue, but the 13 Pro was on 15. 4. 1 and the Pro Max was on 15.

5 so it seems unlikely. The 2%-3% loss isn’t really affecting my overall daily usage, but it is silly that after 6 to 7 hours, I can’t get my phone to 100% when the standard MagSafe Duo charger from Apple is able to charge to 100% in an hour from the same percentage.

The quality of the base also isn’t as nice as their 3-in-1 charger too as its a hard touch plastic, not the same soft touch silicone you’d find on that one, or the BOOSTCHARGE Pro Portable Apple Watch Fast Charger.

This 3-in-1 Wireless Charger is an excellent all-in-one charging solution that is the best MagSafe solution currently on the market. The build quality if outstanding as you would expect at this price point.

The base is heavy, so it doesn’t shift when placing your iPhone on the charger. It charges very quickly and I have yet to have any problems with my AirPod Pros not charging due to misalignment, thanks to the recess in the surface.

This charger is nearly perfect, but loses a star for one baffling decision: The AppleWatch is tilted too high to be easily seen for using Nightstand Mode. Baffling because the iPhone is angled just right for viewing from the bed.

I can see alerts and could even watch videos while in bed if I were so inclined. Unfortunately, the angle of the watch charger can’t be changed, so I’ll have to keep a clock on my nightstand so I can see the time from bed.

My only other complaints are not nearly as problematic. The magnet for the iPhone is barely strong enough to hold my 12 Pro Max in place, at least for those using Apple’s silicone case. Maybe it’s fine for those who don’t a case, but I suspect I will one day bump the iPhone in a morning fog and it will pop off and fall to the floor.

The other issue is that the LED that lights up when your AirPods are in place — tiny though it may be — is noticeably too bright at night. I wish they had placed it behind the charging area as or had a way to turn it off as you only need to see if the AirPods are properly placed when you put them down and LED the AirPods case already gives you that.

Lastly, it would have been nice to have a USB port on the back to add a cable to charge an iPad or other device, but that’s not a big deal. It’s just unfortunate that the watch charger is positioned at the angle it is for those of us with beds at or below their nightstand, or this would be a near-perfect five star product.

As it is, this still seems to be the best all-in-one MagSafe charger out there.

I had two of these units but returning. If you have AirPods Pro, don’t assume they are compatible. I tested both of our 2-in-1 charging stands with AirPods Pro WITHOUT magsafe case and the newer AirPods Pro WITH magsafe case.

Only the AirPods Pro WITHOUT magsafe case works on the base pad. Apple changed AirPods Pro to have magsafe cases which do charge on the top magsafe charger but DO NOT charge on the base pad. Belkin confirmed as much in Q&A here and on FB.

Belkin needs to fix their Compatibility section on their website and on retailers website. It doesn’t appear you can even get AirPods pro WITHOUT the new magsafe case anymore. Do not buy this stand if you have the newer AirPods Pro.

It’s too expensive to only be a phone charger.

While this is an excellent wireless charger and works as expected, Belkin overlooked several major design issues. Given most people will protect their IPhone and Apple Watch with a robust case, the design of this charger makes charging difficult with some phone cases and nearly impossible when the Apple Watch is in a case/bumper.

Dependent on your phone case, you may be required to remove your phone to allow for charging. When it comes to the Apple Watch, it must be aligned perfectly with the magnetized charging port to properly charge.

If the watch has a case/bumper installed for protection, obtaining the proper alignment for charging in next to impossible. There simply isn’t enough clearance between the base of the charger and magnetized charging port to allow proper alignment and charging.

Again, the solution to this issue is remove your Apple Watch case/bumper during charging. Another issue with this charger is the fact your phone is placed in a vertical position to charge. While this isn’t a dealbreaker, yet if the charger is jostled while your phone is being charged, the end result is the phone being knocked off the charger.

Couple this with the fact you may need to remove your case during charging, the potential for a cracked screen, scratched or dented phone becomes a real possibility. Give the above average cost of this wireless charger and these obvious design flaws, it’ll be returned.

I’d advise anyone concerned protecting their investment to steer clear of this charger.

When I first purchased this, I was thinking there was no way the price tag could be justified and my mind has not changed. The unit itself is sturdy and charging is very similar for the AirPods and the Apple Watch, which has a magnet.

Double check to see if your phone case supports wireless charging though. I have a bulky case that I like to use to prop on my car. I have to take the case off completely for consistent charging. Only a minor inconvenience though.

Everything else works as intended. Be weary, if you use the first generation AirPods, they do not support wireless charging. If the price tag is acceptable to you, then this is a fine product.

The charger works very well for everything I’ve done with it so far. (disclaimer: I don’t currently have an Apple watch, so I wasn’t able to test out the watch charger) But for the functionality I have used, I am very pleased with the charger.

It’s expensive and while I hope it will be durable, the construction of the unit indicates it should hold up pretty well over time. Phone Charger You can’t position the phone to charge horizontally. It only works with the iPhone in the vertical position.

While I don’t think it’s really a problem, it’s something you should be aware of before spending the money. Charger works well with an iPhone 12 XS within a phone case. One other point is that if you’re thinking of taking it for travelling, also be aware that the phone stand doesn’t move so it wouldn’t pack very well.

Headphones Charger The headphones charger also works quite well and have no complaints about it. However the hot spot is a slightly recessed circle and doesn’t to match the shape of the headphones charging case.

Not entirely sure why (perhaps for some air circulation?) but it doesn’t seem to impact anything. One other point is that the cable that provides power to the charger is very specifically designed to fit into the unit.

In other words, if you were expecting to plug in a USB3 or Lightning cable of your own, it won’t fit.

The one I purchased was faulty and made a high pitch chirping noise which drove me crazy. Returned for refund as there was no alternative stock at the time. Fine product otherwise.

Overall it’s okay however it makes a humming noise when the phone is not charging and drives me absolutely bonkers. Contacted Belkin directly and they said as we know about the fault move it to a different room.

I expected adjustable to mean that the tilt can be adjusted to multiple angles. But theres only two positions upright and flat. Theres no way to adjust the tilt to different angles which is what I was looking for.

That said, if different tilt angles doesnt matter to you, this is a nice device.

One of the most recent chargers from Tylt is one of the best in the market. This time with a foldable version, delivering 10 w of charge in the standing position or folded to be used in a desk or table.

I loved this charger in the beginning but that beginning wasn’t long. After about eight months the charger stopped working. It will work for a short while if I unplug it and plug it back in. I bought two of these, the second about six months after the first so I didn’t know the issues, and the second one also did this.

Not impressed.

The device is of excellent quality. I purchased it for the Pixel 3XL and the device works perfectly with it with support for fast wireless charging. Therefore, I can recommend the owners of Google Pixel 3XL.

Be careful that you get the right model of this charger, there are at least 3 and it may not charge your phone at the promised 10W if you don’t have the right model. That’s what happened for me with this model and my Pixel 3.

I like the look of this wireless charger and the idea of having it setup next to my computer in the office with the ability to lay my phone on it for a quick charge. The charger can do that, but there are some specific instructions to get the phone to actually charge.

First is the type of case for the phone, and it has to be a certain size in order to charge which means if your case is too think you would need to remove the case each time to charge. I had an otter box and while still in the case the charger did pick up at times but it was easier to take the case off.

Second is the placement of the phone has to be exact in order to charge. I found that there is a part of the charger that when touching an exact point on the back of the phone it will charge. This became tricky as I would lay the phone on it and it would start charging, but the slightest movement may have taking it off the sweet spot and stopped charging.

Both these restrictions are clearly written in the user guide, however having to adhere to these specifics proved more of a hassle than just plugging in my phone.

When I first saw this product, I wasnt blown away by the look, and I frankly liked the design of some other, similar products better. But this one kept coming up on top 10 list for wireless charging stations among a list of review where they all seemed to have different products, with only 1 or 2 constant.

Given those reviews, the price, and the brand, I figured it was a safe bet or a cheap mistake. I have to say that Im very happy with the purchase, primarily because it charges relatively quickly and theres no fidgeting necessary to get it lined up to charge.

I contrast this to a flat Mophie charging pad I bought when wireless iPhone chargers were newer to the market, where I constantly have to adjust the phone to make sure it lines up just right or wake up in the morning with a drained phone.

Also, the charging speed on the Mophie seems to be much slower not busting on that product–it has been fine and was an early version. I also like that this is a standup, and while the guardrails that keep the phone contained arent super sexy, I can replace the other iPhone holders I have sitting around.

I cant adjust the angle, which I could log as a minus, but honestly I am too happy with the overall product to care. I suppose the only other thing that I dont love is that its not compact. Im currently working from home, but going back into the office, I can see its going to be an awkward fit in whatever bag Im using.

But Ill definitely be bringing it in when I do, so I guess its really not that important. PS–I rated thickness low. I am not even sure what that is supposed to mean, but I assume its related to how compact it is.

Works well enough and as advised. Decent fit and finish. Although, mine brand new, out of box had a few light scratches / manufacturer blemishes on the charging pad itself. Do appreciate the stand being able to charge a phone upright or in landscape mode.

Wish the indicator charging light was set on the front or side of the charging stand. As one cant necessarily see it easily being on top of the stand with the phone blocking the view. This stand is while decent, if a little bit overpriced for what is.

As it only offers 10 watt charging speeds, therefore is a little dated for todays charging standards. Especially in comparison to other stands that are of similar price, and offer either faster charging speeds or MagSafe compatibility technology.

Buy this charging stand, if only on sale as its still a safe bet.

Bought this because my husband’s Belkin wireless charger works so well. Thought this one would also have a green to indicate when phone or AirPods are fully charged, but no. Light just stays white. Except when it turns yellow for no apparent reason and stops charging.

Also, a little slow to charge. Other than that, I’m okay with this. I like the convenience of wireless. Just wish it had the green light feature. And also that it wouldn’t sometimes stop charging.

Purchased one of these as our previous belkin single Charger worked brilliantly. This one is garbage. Place device, charging starts ,walk away then charger decides device not placed properly , repeatedly.

This is probably the worst thing I have ever purchased. It doesn’t charge through the case as advertised, and when charging without the case it keeps disconnecting. Also very slow to charge. Do not buy.

Very nice design and charges perfectly as long as phone case is taken off. Does not work reliably with case n, even with thin phone case
