So UA runs so weird. Got my 12 year old the size M and it just fits. A good FALL jacket for sure but not so much for our cold winters. Keeping because the price is good and we can pass down to his little bro.
Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a warm winter coat.
Love the variety that Dillards offers in this style. Could only find it in black and blue at other stores. Great for chilly weather and in between days.
The North Down Fleece-Lined Parka helps our kiddo stay cozy while they build a snowman or make chilly trips to school. Made with insulating down, sherpa lining in the hood, and a soft micro-fleece lining in the upper body for extra core warmth, this jacket is ready to take on some of winter’s coldest days.
I had been looking for the women’s mossbud ever since my kids started wearing the kids version of the mossbud which they love. The women’s version is nice, warm and cozy. My only issue with it is that the inner fleece is different than the kids version.
The kids version is more like a slippery minky fabric. The women’s version is a not-slippery fleece version. While it keeps you warm, it is difficult to get your arms into. There is no slip like the kids version so you really have to tug your arms and hold onto your shirtsleeve or else the shirtsleeves will be pushed up your arms.
You also can’t wear anything too thick or else your arms won’t fit. The kids version you can definitely wear thicker tops because my kids wear sweaters and sweatshirts with it and have no problem putting on the mossbud.
This is the fourth Mossbud Swirl jacket we have purchased from TNF. Our girls wear them walking to and from school from mid-fall well into the winter in southeast Michigan. They are stylish, cozy, and durable.
I would not recommend them for hard core winter play, but for cold weather walks, errands, and hiking they are perfect. My only complaint is that the color options are limited. I’d like to see more darker colors on the smooth layer, as this tends to get dirty easier, and more fun pastel colors on the furry side.
Our girls rarely turn them furry side out because they like wearing the cozy fur on the inside. The last one we bought was charcoal gray on the smooth side and deep lavender on the furry side, but this color is no longer available.
I’d love to see an option in dark gray with maybe a pale blue or teal furry side.
This jacket is thin/lightweight and amazingly warm. It’s a very pretty/slimming jacket as well. My only complaint-I noticed many people said to size up because it runs small. The jacket doesn’t run small, the sleeves are just shorter than an average sleeve would be which is annoying.
My mom, sister and I all ordered the jacket in size med/large/x-large. The sleeve length is shorter than average (in my opinion) and is the same length on all the sizes. The medium fit me perfectly but the sleeves were too short.
So I tried on the large and x-large, the jacket got much bigger but the sleeve length remained the same. I kept the medium and will wear long gloves to make up for the difference. I’m slim on top so this works for me but might not be suitable for everyone.

Bought this jacket for my 16mth old son, here are the pro’s and con’s below: Pro’s: – Great selection of colorways, help me boy stand out from the crowd! – really well made, as with all Noth Face products (IMO).
– Super packable and light, which makes car travel and carrying no issue at all – super fast delivery and great customer service from Altitude-sports, would definitley shop with them again. Cons: – Unfortunately the sizing for North face seems to run small compared to similar brands, Although my little one is quite ‘portly’ for his age I stiil found that the jacket was too slim, not just for him, but for other (more leaner) sized infants.
– I question how warm this product will be in the dead of the winter. I believe this jacket is categrorised as one that can be worn in very cold temperatures (0 degress – minus 10) however I feel there isn’t as much down to keep him warm.
My advice is to buy 1-2 sizes up from you would normally buy and then use extra layers underneath, that should do the trick. I plan on buying a different jacket from Altitude sports as they have been fantastic throughout the process.
Just a shame this wasn’t the right jacket for him – I have to stress thought that this is not a reflection of altitude sports at all, it is more aimed at North Face and seeing if they can revisit their sizing so that it aligns with industry standards.

six skiers and our son was the driest and maybe the warmest did whistler in snowy wet conditions and his jacket and matching pants repelled water so well, I was able to hang his suit in the closet without worrying about drying them next to the fireplace.
outfit was ready to wear for the next morning. the 15k waterproof is a winner! spend a little extra and stay warm and dry. happy Vancouver mom;0).
I bought this for my 2. 5 yr old son to wear in Ohio and I love it! It’s very stylish, fits him well and keeps him warm. I bought a 3T so that he can wear it next year and I love that the sleeves can be extended.
I also love all the pockets and that it’s longer in the back. All around 5 stars!.
This slope-ready jacket is built with Columbia’s most advanced thermal-reflective lining technology. Warm and cozy synthetic insulation adds an extra layer of comfort on any adventure. Columbia’s Outgrown? system makes it easy to adjust to growth spurts and extend the life of the jacket.
A nice find for the cooler season! This 3-in-1 Jacket from Swiss Tech is a great addition to his outerwear collection with its comfort, warmth and versatility. Easily adjust to outside temps with its removable and reversible inner jacketnow he can wear them solo or combined! Dont forget: microfleece lining helps keep him warm while the water-resistant shell helps keep him dry.
I love this coat. I bought one last year for my oldest grandson. He outgrew it so I got him another one in a different color. I love that it keeps him warm when playing outside. I love the removable inside coat, all the pockets, the adjustable velcro on the sleeves, the way it can be closed more to keep the wind from getting in at the chin, the hood.
Just a really great all around coat. I feel like it runs true to size although I usually get it a little big.
That every 4 in 1 boys coat has camo patterns and black on some part of the coat this year is so disappointing. I got this coat last year in blue. It worked awesome and looked great. I was looking forward to getting my son one in a larger size.
But the styling is so ridiculously bad this year that I’m going to look elsewhere. Swisstech- most boys don’t want camo patterns and they like colors. Cobalt blue, light blue, aqua, brighter greens, red without the black, yellow.
Let’s not force everyone into camo by not giving choices. And please add some safety reflective strips so the kids can be seen in the dark by cars.
No wonder these Swiss tech 4 in one jackets are sold out. Best heavy duty winter jacket for a really reasonable price. I’ve bought 2 so far for my kids. When the temps have been in the 30’s and it’s snowed, these are the go to jackets.
I am trying to order the next size up and Walmart says the jacket is out of stock. These jackets have a fleece lined inner jacket. Fleece in the sleeves and all around the inside of the inner jacket.
This is why I love these jackets over a puffer jacket. My daughters are 6 and 8. My oldest has been wearing the Swiss Tech Jacket since kindergarten.
Insulated with a toasty warm 600-fill recycled down and Heatseeker Eco, the Teen Reversible North Down Jacket will quickly become their go-to cold-weather protection. The reversible design gives them the option to quickly change up their style.
The picture has been changed on the jacket to now match what it actually looks like, previously it was very different, hence why I bought it. In the old photo it looked thick and near matte finish, when it arrived it was a super thin material and a tacky looking super shiny flimsy piece of material.
I wouldn’t pay 50 euro for this much less the 260 I paid, especially considering the full length nuptse jacket is only 40 euro more. Asos needs to ensure they use the correct pictures, as this was a Christmas present and I couldn’t get refunded the money until a month later.
No it is not the same color as pictured, but I like turquoise so I am pleased. It is darker than pictured and will hit lower on the short waisted person. I had some feathers popping out when the draw string at the waist is pulled.
I purchased both colors and only the blue is letting off feathers just a small amount so far. I took one star away because of the feathers lost. Will be dry cleaning these jackets.
Love this jacket bought it for winter when you’re going out in active wear but want to style it up a little bit. Love the shiny material and get heaps of compliments about it every time I wear it. Zipped up or down looks cute and keeps me warm.
Cropped length makes the jacket! Just watch out for make up stains on the white collar.
The Fell Kids 3 in 1 Jacket is perfect for changeable weather conditions. With a water-resistant outer shell and inner fleece for protection from the wind and light rain, this jacket will keep your little ones warm and snug this season.
This jacket was purchased, along with four others, to be given to young hurricane victims in Louisiana. I chose Nautica based on a purchase of this same jacket in adult size, for my own use. This is a great lightweight, yet warm jacket that looks stylish and feels good to wear.
Perfect for wind and light rain with a hood tucked into the collar. Purchased for seven and nine year old Grandsons for their visit to West Glacier Montana. Great jacket, excellent price, and is going to be a top layer for Fall school days in the Northwest.
I purchased these jackets for both my 6 and 11 year old boys and they absolutely love them!!! The colors are very vibrant and this product is made of good quality material. I would definitely purchase these again.
Perfect for extra cold winters, the Tuff boys’ casual jacket is a warm choice that will help see them through frigid days outdoors. Designed with a layer of lightweight padding that will insulate his body heat, the jacket will stay nice and warm and the padding also gives the jacket its attractive quilted finish.
Designed with three low profile zipped pockets for storage, a full length zip allows an easy wear while the elasticated cuffs and adjustable hem help keep the cold air locked out. Available in black, blue or grey styles, this jacket will help see him through the cold in comfort and style.
I bought this as i was in need of a new winter coat. My thought £35 cheap cheerful its thicker than my old one i will just wear a jumper underneath. well god damn i sweat in this. The body heat technology thingy in it WORKS.
Its a bit long in the body but nothing too drench coat vibes. Luckily enough hasnt rained since purchasing it so couldnt say if it is as waterproof as they say but so far so good.

5 inches so there’s no need to panic if your kid has a sudden growth spurt and goes up a size. The SnowGuard wrist cuffs have a special extension they can slip their thumb through to keep out the snow; it works almost like a set of sewn-in fingerless gloves.
Because of the durable waterproof shell this coat also transitions easily to spring when everything is wet and melting but still cold. The hood is lined as well and the interior is lined in downy fleece that’s soft against their skin so they’ll never feel itchy or uncomfortable.
I literally just received this in the mail today and could not wait to wear it out on a four mile walk. It was about 18 degrees outside with some pretty brisk winds, and I was very warm and toasty with just a light layer underneath.
After that first use, this is now my favorite walking and hiking coat. It has all of the features of some of my bigger and much more expensive parkas from another retailer, but without the weight and length that hampers my walking.
The pockets are incredible. there are so many of them. I have room for my cell phone, water bottle, keys, and tissues, along with my credit card in the convenient chest pocket. The sherpa lining in the hood and hand pockets is very welcome.
I cannot wait to wear this coat out in a cold rain or snow. I know it will perform well. For the record, I’m 5’7″, 155 pounds and I bought and extra large in order to give me room through the shoulders and space underneath for layering.
The fit is perfect! This coat beats competitors that are literally triple the price.
Padded puffer jacket in quilted, woven fabric with a water-repellent finish for protection from light rain and snow. High, padded collar, zipper at front with anti-chafe chin guard and wind flap with hook-loop fasteners for extra protection from bad weather and wind.
Concealed front pockets with hook-loop fasteners, hook-loop tab at cuffs, and slightly longer hem at back. Reflective details for increased visibility. Lined. BIONIC-FINISH ECO coating without fluorocarbons.
What a fabulous burnt brown Fall/Autumnal colour! I bought this coat in size 5-6 for our taller 3 year old and it fits him perfectly. I had no reviews yet to go off, so I took a chance. So glad I sized up! This coat is super cozy and warm.
It goes past his bum and the back of his legs which I love and appreciate to ensure he stays warm this winter. When we opened the box, he didn’t take the coat off for over an hour. I say, if our 3 year old approves, than I do too! It is unisex as well.
Lovely, thick and warm coat. Would prefer the hood didn’t come off but I’m gonna place a couple of stitches in it so my boys don’t keep pulling it off. Beautiful colours, great materials. Would recommend.
This easy-care hooded jacket was built to minimize bulk and keep warm and dry in cool conditions; made with a lightweight 100% recycled nylon ripstop shell and 200-g Thermogreen 100% recycled polyester insulation.
We live in the far north and my son is always warm in this coat (even below -30°C). We both love how it looks and it’s easy for him to move around in. The design of the neck/hood is an added bonus; my kids always find the top end of coat zippers scratchy and annoying, but this design actually zips to the top comfortably.
The hood also stays up easily, even when he’s playing.
Bought this jacket in the next size up for my son who currently has size 12 (he’s 11 years old, slim build, average height). The size 14/XL was not much bigger than his current jacket (which is different Patagonia model) so I’m going to see about exchanging it for the XXL as I’m hoping he will be able to wear it for the next two winters (so in my mind it runs small).
It seems warm and well made, the quality you’d expect from Patagonia.
Lightweight but looks warm! My daughter is 8 and we took the medium and it fits like a glove. It will be great to wear everyday and at school. Easy to put on and off. She finds it comfortable.
Polar fleece lining will keep your kiddo extra cozy all season long in this waterproof puffer jacket. Waterproof Attached hood Lined 100% nylon Machine wash, tumble dry Imported
Hello Proozy I got this great Spyder puffer for my son He loved it and since he is living in paris, he doesnt put it off Wind proof and so warming!!!!! The only thing I am surprised about is that I sent a request for a refund 3 times and explained why and documented but the answer was automated and useless This is not Proozy style.
Shell: Polyester Fill: 75% White Duck Down Imported Nylon lining Zipper closure Machine Wash 650 fill power down. Zip off hood with two snap closures at the center. Two from waist pockets. Interior right chest pocket.
Left chest zip pocket. Full zip front with a flap at the top. Elasticised cuffs and hem. Embroidered pony accents chest. Classic winter down filled water repellent jacket.
Really disappointed with quality of the coat this year. Ordered on line and arrived in a very flat condition. Despite vigorous attempts to ‘fluff up’ it’s definitely flatter than previous coats and seems like theres less down filling this season.
My son has RL puffer every year and I’ve never been been disappointed with quality previously. Having waited for it to come into stock for some time I don’t think I will bother next year.
Smart looking warm jacket. I think the sizing runs pretty small as I ordered age 16 XL boys size for my 14 year old son and it will only fit him for this winter. I was expecting it to be on the large side but it is not.
I buy the same jacket every year and this years is a little different. It has a different feel to it and the hood doesn’t zip all the way up it closes around your neck with snaps. Also the size jump from boy small to boy medium is really a big jump so will save it for next year.
Designed with a longer fit for added protection from cold and wind, our Juniper Parka offers premium warmth on the chilliest days. Fleece-lined pockets keep hands warm against cold winds. Reflective piping stands out when the sun goes down.
Transform it into a travel-friendly backpack for adventures on the go.
I was slightly worried about ordering after reading reviews about the fur on the hood being thin and cheap looking. I must say I am extremely impressed! My fur is thick and “bushy” I am very happy. Arctic dusk is a lovely colour and slightly brighter than the pictures looked.
I am a UK size 8 (US4) and bought the youth XL and it has plenty of room (even to wear a hoodie if I wanted – which I probably won’t because it’s soooo warm. Ordered from CG website and coat came in big CG box, CG garment bag and CG coat hanger! Very very happy shopper.
I spent a lot of time considering whether to buy this coat or not; I was not sure how it would fit. I am glad I went forward with the investment because the size guide as well as the reviews from others were right on the mark in terms of sizing.
This coat fits a 110lb female with fairly narrow shoulders, when wearing a thick-ish flannel shirt. I can even put a polar fleece vest on underneath, but the coat does become slightly tight with the added vest.
The sleeve length is perfect for a female adult 5’6” tall. There is a slight gather at the waist that adds to the tailored feel, but the gather is elastic so it does move with the body. The colour is the real reason why I wanted it.
I have to say I didnt keep it, I returned it. But mostly because I ordered many winter jackets because I couldn’t go shopping. This jacket felt really nice and looked warm. However, I didn’t like how it was closing around my neck and the end of the zipper didnt feel nice on my chin.
Also, the fur was always in my eyes, no way to wear the hoody and still see around. it closed my vision a bit too much. But other than that, it felt like a great quality jacket, nice a long. For reference, I am 5’1, 105 lbs and the size Large fitted me well.
