Best Wine For Stress Relief (2023 Updated)

When you don’t know if you want a soda pop or some table wine with your meal, open a bottle of this Dolce. It’s a jammy sweet red wine which has been lightly carbonated. If you’re not expecting the carbonation, it might come as an unwelcome surprise, especially at the dinner table.

Don’t worry, those bubbles don’t mean it’s going bad. This is a refreshing red wine that’s good for picnics, movie nights, any kind of casual food situation where you might have gone for the white zin except you don’t want to have to worry about keeping it chilled.

The Dolce tastes zippy sweet at room temp. Highly recommend for casual eats. Probably best not to serve at a fancy dinner party, though.

My new favorite dessert wine! About 12 years ago in Venice I had a sweet sparkling red and I’ve never been able to find one in the US that was quite the same, that is until I tried this! It’s very fruity, not overly sweet, a good alcohol percentage, and super refreshing (make sure to chill first!) The only complaint I have is that they should put on the label that it is a sparkling wine, as some people may be mislead and unhappy when they try it if that’s not their style.

Ummm I guess if you refrigerate it, you might drink it on a hot summer day. Tasted something like cherry cough syrup to me. Close to the worst wine I have ever tasted. I love Apothic Red Blend and thought this might be a bit like Apothic.

This wine is a good table wine. It’s my go-to red wine in America. I’ve traveled to many European countries and this is comparable to many, in my opinion. It’s smooth and light, when it hits your palate, full of flavor though.

As it finishes it has a little bit of acidity that hits the back of your tongue just right. Would recommend!.

The Menage a Trios “Silk” is a good choice as a summer red blend. This California blend is soft and sutble and will pair well with any dish. It has cherry and raspberry notes and just a small hint of sweetness.

Take to a gathering with friends or drinking alone it’s a great choice. #happyhour.

MY ABSOLUTE FAV RED! Honestly this is the perfect red to gift to someone and is a staple you must have in the kitchen at all times. It’s so smooth and has so much body to it. 10/10 love this and everyone I introduce this wine to, end up falling in love with this wine too! Don’t walk.

The wine I received was not the wine shown in the picture. What I received had a blue cap and the label was slightly different. The label shown in the picture is from a previous year and tasted much better than the new vintage.

However, I will drink it even if it’s not as good.

For the price, this sweet-ish wine can’t be beat! Unlike many other sweet wines, this is has a regular wine APV (12%) and yet it is so smooth and easy to drink. Plus the vineyard says uses more green/ eco-friendly practices, so what’s not to love?!.

My fav Riesling after trying many others. It’s like biting into a crisp Granny Smith Apple getting that fresh and sweet but dry and clean feeling. And the hint of fizzy makes it an all occasion drink.

I enjoy pairing it with pjs & Netflix and serve it chilled straight from the bottle.

I love this Riesling. Smooth, not overly sweet, a good everyday white.

Relax Riesling is sweet and very drinkable. We had it with Mekonos. It’s nice.

I actually use this to cook with, I don’t know that I would drink it. I am not a huge Moscato fan, so that is probably why I would not drink it. It’s not the most horrible thing I have ever drank, I just really did not prefer it.

I tend to stick with sweet red wine so that is what I will buy.

This is a very flavorful wine with a berry and spicy taste without being overwhelming. You can’t beat the price, either. It’s great to enjoy in front of the TV or with others at a party!

This is a smooth tasting Zin. My wife and I were introduced to Zinfandel back in the 80’s when my Son-in-laws family in Mass. were making it at home. We have been fans of the Zin ever since. The twisted vine is the closest we have had to the home made from the 80’s.

Sadly to say, the Men in the family have passed and with them the family formula. We will be back for more Twisted Vine Zin.

I was swayed to try this by the good reviews, but I disagree and would call this one acceptable cheap wine for a party if just ok is acceptable to your guests.

This is a first for me. I’ve never had a chilled red wine burn on the way down before. It’s so strange, it smells and tastes like someone mixed a cheap liquor into the wine barrel. I can taste that it’s fruit forward, slightly sweet, and not dry.

I just can’t get past 3 sips without drunken night flashbacks. You know, those memories that make you gag.

Not a great Pinot. Too subtle and fruit forward to be a true Pinot. Just bland. I was pretty disappointed based on other reviews. It’s not expensive but other Pinot noirs can be found at this price point that are superior.

I wanted to “Love” this. I really had higher expectations with the reviews. My first thought after my initial sip was “Whoa! Grape rubbing alcohol?” Darn I wanted to like this. It’s just not good.

This is a wonderful tasting Pinot for the price. Some affordable Pinot Noirs can be too acidic. This one is very rich and you can taste the cherry overtones. I love dark cherries. I also appreciate the screw cap for easy opening.

The bottle is very pretty and everyone is immediately intrigued by the name.

This wine was a big mistake for my tastebuds. I didn’t pair it with cheeses as suggested on the label. Instead, I had two sips of it with my delicious chili. That’s as far as I got. Ugh! I couldn’t tell if the wine was bad or if that’s what it was supposed to smell and taste like.

Needless to say, I didn’t finish my glass; most of the bottle went down the drain. I won’t be buying this again.

I am a Moscato kind of girl, and this bubbly baby took me by surprise. She has a sweet aroma, sweet notes, and smooth. Serves as a pleasant option with and after dinner, with a desert, for a movie, or just to chill.

I will definitely add II Duca Rosa Imperiale to my preferred selection.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis brand makes excellent wines at excellent prices. You cannot go wrong with Barefoot wines in any grape you prefer or need for wine pairing because they make a ton of grapes.

We love the Zinfandel. Our then college aged daughter got us to like it. This was their go-to wine on a college kid budget, but we buy it all the time. The reds are excellent with beef and red sauce.

I highly recommend it.

Its definitely not something that is for my taste buds but the barefoot brand i love its very affordable and i love all the flavors they have.

Strawberry barefoot is the best and its only 10. 99$ at kroger for a big bottle. Barefoot is great just didnt like this one.

750ml is the standard bottle of wine. If you don’t know that, then you really probably not ought to be posting a review. Anyway, I was surprised how much I dislike this wine (I’ll drink whatever you put in front of me if it’s got booze in it lol).

I’ve tried a few wines and I like Merlot and Chardonnay, the standard (I think) red and white wines. I’ve had White Zinfandel before, it was actually all I’d ever drink a couple of years ago. But that was before I “broadened my palette” I guess.

I don’t like this, it’s carbonated even! I honestly don’t remember if all the other White Zinfandels were or not, but I know now that I don’t think wine should be carbonated. I even Googled “is White Zinfandel real wine?” after I bought this having not had it in a couple of years.

If you want to be a basic b* drinking basic b* wine, go for it. But I promise you, there’s better wine out there. Like WAY better, just as cheap even. Try some whites, try some reds too, like literally just pull some red and white colors off the shelf.

That’s how I started. Afterwards, you’ll feel like you know way more than you do right now reading these reviews. And omg lol, don’t serve this (maybe all White Zinfandels?) to guests. They might be even more bougie than you (they must be if you’re reading wine reviews lol).

“Chocolate” was my first reaction. No smoky okay notes of bourbon barrelbut a distinct taste of chocolate, among other flavors. No sweetness, more like the chocolate in a mole sauce, but not as smooth (so I guess more likr carob).

Higher tannins and a bit more acid bite than I prefer. Not hitting my favorites list.

The 2020 1,000 Stories vintage was extremely disappointing based on the great reviews here. My bottle had few of the positive attributes plus a chemical aftertaste. I would not recommend 2020.

We were looking for something different, and we purchased this wine recently based upon reviews. The wine has a nice nose, with distinctive oak. The initial flavor is sweet, perhaps too sweet for a Zinfindel.

This quickly turns to a sour and bitter flavor. Not good at all. Once that is gone, there is a grapey finish. Not something I would recommend, especiialu with the much better options at this price point.

It is not often in today’s world of wine tsampling and exploration that we can boast a low cost find that so surprises and delights with every touch to the lips. My wife who is not as particular as I in her tastes for wine took her first sip and exclaimed wow.

delicious wine, so smooth and fruity! Tisdale Pinot Noir has an absolute fruit filled body, smooth to the palate and is extremely aromatic. I am sending her to Total Wine today to pick up a case. Tisdale is what I like to refer to as a “wonderful Total Wine find!” Sadly, the price can only escalate from here.

I’ve tried $20+ Pinot Noirs and none of them compare to this Pinot Noir by Tisdale. This is just sweet enough, without feeling like I’m getting a cavity. I’ve convinced many self-proclaimed red wine haters to try this wine and they enjoy it.

It’s so reasonably priced that I sometimes have multiple bottle on reserve.

My husband bought this for me to try and I fell in love. Was totally surprised when he told me it was only $2.99 per bottle!!
