20 Best Window For Noise Reduction (2023 Updated)

I love this shade. Looks very classy on window. Easy to hang. I especially like the lift and pull feature – no cords. I only gave 4 stars because even though I ordered the shade in the correct size for my window – not longer because I didn’t want to have a lot of bulk at the bottom – the shade actually fell short about 8 inches.

That is a lot. Now maybe they will give some since the pleats are very tight but I don’t think there will be an 8″ drop. So for now I had to improvise. I think they are nicely made and look lovely but I would recommend going for the next longer length when ordering.

I am IN LOVE with these curtains!!!! They are gorgeous in person and they literally changed the look of my new home instantly. I have three big windows all on wall wall and hung these about 8 inches higher than the window AND WOW!!!!!! I can’t say enough and I am hard to impress.

They are great quality and luxuriously soft. The silver pops but in a classy ( not tacky) way. I also purchased more for my smaller Windows as well in the other color. We put these up last night and I woke up to a dark house so I can definitely say they perform well as far as blackout curtains are concerned.

Best purchase I’ve made in a while.

We live in Cornwall with an east facing bedroom and were getting blinded by the very early morning light with normal curtains. We looked for blackout curtains elsewhere and they cost an arm and a leg.

These were really cheap and totally do the job – the light only comes in the sides and top, which is a curtain rail issue, but we don’t mind because we know it’s morning without getting blinded. The designs great as well and the green colour looks great with our purple walls.

Just what I was looking for. Needed two pairs for my lounge so didn’t want to pay a fortune. Very good quality and very affordable. Nice and soft and love the slight shine of silver through them. Came quickly too.

Would buy again.

We had purchased these curtains in white for the upstairs of our house about 6 years ago. They looked as good as the day we hung them. I was ready to do the downstairs of our home, so we purchased again.

They did not disappoint. They are perfection. I tried ironing and steaming out the creases, but it really didn’t do much. In retrospect, and from our upstair experience, it’s best to let time take care of the creases.

These curtains have a backing on them that blocks out cold. They hang well but do need some steaming to help with wrinkles from packaging. I have used this style for years and the backing is still like new.

My cat occasionally puts a hole in the white backing and I cover it up with white nail polish. I put a sheer thin white panel curtain between the window and Weathermate curtain (which matches the grommet spacing) to block the UV light from hitting the curtains since our windows get full sun.

This makes the curtains last longer. So far, after five years of sun and cold weather, my other Weathermate curtains have not faded and are holding up very well.

I bought sets for windows in 3 rooms. I use one panel per 36″ wide window, over cellular shades. In summer I draw both the shades & curtains on hot days and it makes the room feel cool and semi-dark.

I like the beige color, as it lets in enough light so you can see things in the room. The red color makes the room too dark to see. In winter, especially on breezy days, this extra insulating curtain layer keeps the rooms warmer.

The drapery fabric is a great quality for black out drapes but are very nicely designed to provide an excellent look for our room. We purchased an entire second set for out future needs so we will have this stylish look for a long time.

Deconovo was the only supplier that gave us the perfect fit; 52 x 90 panels. The grommets are attached in excellent condition with noting pulling away non not seamed perfectly. Have recommended Deconovo product to three other friends that a want a stylish grommet drapery for their homes.

I bought these mainly because my living room windows are so drafty. When I opened the box I honestly didn’t think that they were going to work. However, they work AMAZINGLY!!! We noticed a huge difference in the feel of the living room.

Excellent curtains. I’ve searched high and low for decent sound blocking curtains. These look good, block light 100% and even reduce noise. I’m so glad I found moon dream and now I don’t have to wake up with some sudden traffic noise.

I bought the window panels and a room divider panel. I still hear some noise but it’s better! I first thought these were pricey – but you get your money’s worth. Also it would cost the same from any decent brand.

This is used in the laundry room (metal framed door) that gets direct morning sun. The taupe color blocks the sun/heat really well. They are not sheer but not back out either. In the morning I cannot see through them but in the afternoon I see just an outline of the sun on the patio.

The description says these are lined but it is one piece of polyester fabric, no lining. When I took them out of the package I thought the fabric had a bit of a sheen to them but after they were hung I don’t see a sheen at all, look like a matte finish.

This panel was deeply wrinkled so I put it in the dryer using permanent press cycle which didn’t help much so got the iron out and used steam but most of the wrinkles are still there but hung it anyway.

I expect putting it through a wash / dry cycle will probably correct that but I’m not doing that now. This panel was hung using two Springs Window Fashions Magnetic 16 – 28 inch adjustable magnetic window curtain rods which holds the panel secure.

The rod is extended to 26 inches. No drilling holes in the door. When I use the Velcro tieback I do move the upper rod down just a bit (maybe an inch) otherwise the panel is too tight and the tieback won’t fit around it.

Good value. On sale, even better!.

I have pretty sheers installed But. people press their noses up to the window to see through them. These are made of a lovely fabric, help to keep out the Heat and Cold, and No more Nosey Nose spots on the windows! Super easy to install, they look beautiful from inside and outside, and go with any color door and decor beautifully.

Super Great Price!!! These were so hard to find at one time and so expensive! These are a very high quality fabric and Very Well made. Perfect product, easy to install, beautiful, provides insulation from high and low temperatures- I love them.

I can’t find any reason not to have them on my sidelight windows. They add so much to the foyer and are an asset to the great room decor. They add to the atmosphere of having a polished and finished appearance to my home.

I do not have to look up to see who is at the door if I am not ready to receive guests or anyone. I love the added privacy. It is now very important. The fabric provides an extra layer of security for me.

This is a most valuable product for many reasons. and so lovely!.

These curtains really do darken a room!! So much so, that we have to “crack” them a little or otherwise our room is a complete cave and we will spend all winter hibernating and not knowing what day or time it is.

So definitely order these if absolute darkness is what you need! The blue color is just like the photos. Unfortunately as others mentioned, the curtains are heavy. If you’re interested in a flowy look, then these are not for you.

They’re like a paper bag and just kind of hold whatever form they have, even after ironing. For us, that’s okay because they’re in our bedroom which also happens to be in a basement. So no big! But would love if they could find a way to make affordable panels that are truly room darkening/blackout AND have a great flowy style.

Definitely too much to ask. :).

As I’m something of a recycler this case is the first new case I’ve had in close to 10 years so if you’re more experienced you may want to take my experience with a grain of salt. That said. I’ve installed a 5900X AMD system with a NH-D15S cooler and a Raijintek Morpheus cooler with NH fans to reduce the Graphics card noise down and this system is indeed very quiet.

Air flow and fan noise does increase somewhat when I’m rendering video content along with any (minimal) gaming I do so all told it’s a nice, quiet system. I wouldn’t say noiseless but what noise there is won’t bother you much, if at all unless you’re really sensitive.

Worth the £165 now quoted, I can’t say but I’m definitely happy with the investment over some of the old clunkers a few of our older machines still inhabit.

– Tempered glass panel has slight tint; I’d say the equivalent to a car side window. – Top panel can be removed, but not very easily. I am guessing this may complicate regular dustings. – I found that installing the HDDs upside down with 90 degree SATA connectors made for the better installation.

Right side up proved a bit difficult with 90 degree connectors. Final thoughts: If you are considering this case, go for it. I usually add cons to any purchase I make as there is no such thing as a perfect product.

The cons are mostly minor, and shouldn’t scare anyone away from buying this case. They are simply observations that I didn’t like, and with the exception of regular maintenance, would be a non issue after the build is complete.

So quiet I can barely hear that it’s on unless I turn up the fan speed! I found it very easy to install every component into this case. I built a computer for audio production so noise reduction is a high priority.

Using this case along with a be quiet! CPU fan allows me to keep the fans running nice and slow for maximum quietness. The side panels are also easy to open and close. you just have to make sure the panels are lined up correctly at the bottom, and they snap right in.

If you’re looking for a quiet case, I highly recommend this case!.

I am a very light sleeper and work the night shifts and have not been able to figure out how to get proper sleep until I was recommended to try black out curtains. Ever since installing these curtains I have been able to get the best sleep since starting my new job.

The design and color of the curtains not only matches my room aesthetic but it also is a nice upgrade from the blinds I used to have. The fabric is pretty good quality and thick so they easily block out all the light so much so that I can’t even upload a good photo since the room is pitch dark.

Best of all, they even minimize some of the noise from outside as the sounds of cars and the motors of lawnmowers don’t seem to bother me anymore. I also can’t stand sleeping when it’s hot and these curtains seem to block out enough sun that the room feels much cooler and I can tell the difference when I wake up to leave my room and come back.

It’s definitely much cooler than the outside of my room with these curtains. I highly highly recommend these to anyone who can’t sleep and work nights or just wanna conserve energy during hot days to help with cooling!.

I purchased two of these units for my elderly Grandparents. The two existing units were the exact same model. They’re 91 and 94 years old and were used to the controls and remote and change would be difficult.

They’re also very brand loyal and believe in the LG units for durability and trust. They would have no other!.

AC model LW1816ER often doesn’t blow any air at — not even warm air. I’ve unplugged it for 10 minutes, cleaned filters, tried everything. Was working on and off and now doesn’t work much at all. I have two of the exact same units.

One has been a constant problem for more than a year and now second one starting to have same problems.

The “off-white” color description of the body is not accurate. We have cream-colored walls and the body of the curtain clashed badly with it. What they call “off-white” is more like a pewter/greige color with a sheen to it.

Grey and cream don’t work well together! I’d recommend this for a modern grey color scheme, but not for warm neutrals. It came well packed and made though.

These drapes are everything I wanted and more. They do an excellent job of light blocking, very nice color and quality fabric. I highly recommend them for any room. Five stars!

I am so impressed with these! I tested them against my current “blackout” curtains which unfortunately let some light through. However these block out EVERYTHING! And they are so beautiful. A very subtle off-white with a slight sheen.

I’m very pleased with my purchase. The panels are well made and nicely packaged with no wrinkles shortly after hanging. They look just as pictured. I ordered the white which is true to color — no blues or grays.

Definitely worth the money. The fabric is linen-like with a little slub that goes well with my eclectic decor. The 100% blackout lining is bonded to the fabric which makes the panels a little stiff as expected, but they still hang beautifully.

Shipping was faster than indicated in the tracking report.

These curtains worked just as expected. They do block out ALL of the light which is what we needed. Bought 2 sets. They looked somewhat wrinkled for a while but if it bothered us, we would iron them.

It doesn’t. Worth the money for the quality.
