20 Best Window Covering For Sliding Glass Doors (2023 Updated)

I was ready to return these because after I ordered them, I noticed one hidden picture on a review that showed a black liner. So beware, from the outside, you will have a black curtain! And I was using them in our large living room windows.

Also, as others noted, “white” is more of a pearly gray. I happen to love it next to my darker gray walls. I decided to keep my sheer white curtains in the middle and close the blackouts for privacy at night.

It looks less like a shower curtain. And I used 3 panels per window. I was pleasantly surprised at the feel and quality of these. I don’t usually like shiny curtains but this has the right amount of sheen.

And as long as you thread them with the seams inside, they look fine from the street. (otherwise you see the white against black seams). I haven’t tried to iron these yet, as you can see. I haven’t had much success ironing with a “cool iron” in the past and it’s a pain.

These pics are right out of the bags. Overall, I was expected to be disappointed with this delivery and ended up being thrilled! These will provide the nighttime privacy I want and look very nice during the day! As long as you’re aware of the color and black liner, I think you’ll be happy with these for the price! I am!.

Excellent curtains very good quality would recommend purchase well worth the money I would have loved the tie backs to be included but there were no tie backs included which was disappointing, however the curtains are beautiful and would look better with matching tie backs.

I was very surprised with the quality of these curtains. They’re really nice fabric & beautiful foil pattern. They’re actually blackout curtains & let zero light through. You won’t get more curtain for the price anywhere else.

Good material, no issues with curtain except the fact is not blackout as describes. It does filter most light through but not blackout as described.

This valance really makes my kitchen window pop! I needed something new and fresh to brighten my kitchen and this was just what I was looking for! The added bonus is how it really blocks the light as the sun is setting where is used to stream in and catch me in the eyes.

The color is as shown and the pattern is subtle and elegant enough to compliment any style. I also like the more modern look of the brushed nickel grommets that match my curtain rod and really bring the look together.

(This applies to a drape delivered in July 2017) THE POSITIVES: I’m very happy with the color accuracy of the Espresso, the weight, and the light blocking. It transmits only a tiny glow when the sun strikes them directly.

more light leaks to the sides than comes thru the fabric. Also, I used another reviewer’s suggestion with success: Running them in a low-heat dryer for about 40 minutes with a wet towel got rid of most of the packaging/folding creases.

Speaking of other reviewers, someone said that this was not a single drape, but rather two sewn together – WRONG, it is one piece. THE NEGATIVES: Despite the claims, photos and diagrams above, any rod-pocket there may have been is sewn shut at the ends.

Also, the back-tabs are not 2 or 3 inches wide as illustrated but rather 1/2-inch “belt-loops”. That made a major difference in my hanging plans, and I had to go to traditional drapery hooks (which CAN be used if you stretch them open a little before attempting to get through the seams.

) A minor consideration is to be careful when carrying/working with these, as the fabric just loves to snag on things. So there you go, approximately 3/5 to 2/5 resulting in 3 stars. 80).

I have pretty sheers installed But. people press their noses up to the window to see through them. These are made of a lovely fabric, help to keep out the Heat and Cold, and No more Nosey Nose spots on the windows! Super easy to install, they look beautiful from inside and outside, and go with any color door and decor beautifully.

Super Great Price!!! These were so hard to find at one time and so expensive! These are a very high quality fabric and Very Well made. Perfect product, easy to install, beautiful, provides insulation from high and low temperatures- I love them.

I can’t find any reason not to have them on my sidelight windows. They add so much to the foyer and are an asset to the great room decor. They add to the atmosphere of having a polished and finished appearance to my home.

I do not have to look up to see who is at the door if I am not ready to receive guests or anyone. I love the added privacy. It is now very important. The fabric provides an extra layer of security for me.

Fabric is soft and lightweight. The grommets look nice. I got sick of my sliding glass door verticle blinds breaking, so I bought this. Only thing I don’t like about it is the color I chose. It’s a little more ‘yellow’ than I wanted.

I purchased the original Madison Park Essentials bedding in Aqua on a last minute whim two years ago. This purchase, unforeseen at that time, triggered an obsession for me! From the bedding, to the matching curtains, shower curtains, rugs, mats, laundry baskets, storage bins and a mouthful more, Ive completely overhauled my entire house! Ive tried off-brand items and nothing has compared to the bold and pristine colors and quality of the Madison Park brand.

As much as I love this, I do cringe at the pricing of the majority of the items. Im left to having to wait out the best sales! Ive been searching the stores for this theme a little over two years now, and can honestly say that the original exact match trellis design is a rarity in its form! Of course, you can always go straight to the distributor, but with an obsession like mine on a budget, its definitely a must to find cheaper, packaged deals.

Ive been looking for a reasonably priced set of standard (common) living-room length curtains in gray or seafoam green for quite some time now. Im pleased to have stumbled upon this set today!.

I absolutely LOVE them! I had a cabana built and wasn’t sure about these until they arrived. They are prefect, they aren’t see through, they are just the right weight and are beautiful. My only problem was getting something to attach to them so they would fit the 1 1/2 inch pole.

Of course, I found the 3inch rings on Walmart website that easily snapped through the grommets, almost like a binder ring. I purchased in total 5 sets (10 panels) to go around my cabana, I probably could have gotten away with 8 panels but the extra two just made me feel more secluded.

I have been adding “private spaces” to my backyard during Covid so that each space feels different. when I’m in my Cabana, I feel like I’m in Cancun on the beach somewhere. I only had them up a few hours when it rained, I went out the next morning and the curtains were totally dry and not wrinkled or changed in anyway, I will have to go and get some rods for the bottom to weigh them down, as the wind does blow them around pretty good but there is a sleeve at the bottom to be able to slide something in them, I guess you could probably just put a curtain rod at the bottom.

I only got to enjoy them for a couple of days since my cabana wasn’t built until mid-Dec. (live in NE) so I have stored them, can’t wait to pull them out in spring. I went ahead and got the white even though I was a little worried about them getting dirty, but the fabric if perfect for outdoors and I don’t think I will have a problem.

These are exactly what I’ve been looking for over the past three years or so. I have high ceilings, and I could not find these longer-length curtains anywhere at a decent price point. At the high-end designer stores they wanted hundreds of dollars for drapes with about the same quality as these.

The color, drape, fabric and grommets on these drapes are perfect! They look more expensive than what I paid for them! They are not 100% blackout drapes, but they block out enough light to meet our needs.

Love them!.

This shade has a decent weight to it. It’s strong enough to withstand the most agile cat. It was easy to install. It was easy to operate. It does keep it the sun as promised. My room reached and maintained its goal temperature, which didn’t happen prior to installation.

Prior to putting this shade up, I had my thermostat set to 75. Not once during the day did it manage to get that low. Since installing, it gets to 74/75. Not only does this shade perform perfectly, it’s stylish and will work with most decor.

They do have other colors so it’s a win win.

We have only had it up for a few days so jury is still out on it’s durability long term. However pros so far: Great light blocking and aesthetically appealing. Cons: Pull handle is in an awkward position.

It is in the back when it should be on the bottom. Also the way it rolls up and the pole bracings are a little flimsy. Not sure retail cost of this however if it was reasonably priced I would probably by it.

If it’s super expensive I’m not sure I would.

This shade is very beautiful but, The installation of the shade is difficult to understand. The function of the shade is easy just pull up pull down. The fabric of the shade is very nice. We really just didn’t like the way it installed and the instructions to need to be more understandable.

You reach in behind the shade to pull it up or down. The plastic rods that go across can fall out and they could possibly break easily.

I drove almost an hour to pick up the only one I could find anywhere. Almost an hour back home only to discover that someone had cut it, put it back in the box and returned it to the store in 2 pieces.

I needed it full size for a 6 foot window. I have previously purchased similar paper shades that I reuse each summer. This one is a fabric shade and would have been equally effective at reducing sunlight glare without darkening the room.

Not driving all the way back to return it so will be ordering one online.

I used this for a hazy arched window which had lost its seal. It covers the problem perfectly, you’d never know. The product arrived very quickly. It was easy to measure and install. You have to be prepared with a very sharp razor knife though.

The price was amazing. I thought I was going to have to spend hundreds for a custom drapery treatment. It’s a little bit thin, but that makes it possible to be light enough to support itself. While installing it seemed a bit floppy till I got it into the right position, but then it settled in and I haven’t worried about it since.

One small disadvantage is that since the bottom edge is stuck down with a double sided tape you really can’t move it to clean the window without compromising the tape, you’d have to probably buy a new one.

I just cleaned my window really well once and for all before I installed it. I love this elegant looking solution to my window haze problem, and it allows me to enjoy the arch shape with its elegant mullions through the semi translucent fabric, and therefore I would highly recommend it.

These are nice, well made panels. Had to iron because wrinkled from the package, but they hang nicely and have a nice drape to them. I wish there would have been a lighter color than Taupe that would have matched my walls a little better, but they are still neutral enough to go with an decor.

These are not exactly “blackout or efficient”, more like between sheer and blackout (single layer of material, without a 2nd layer for blackout purposes found on more expensive curtains). Still nice quality for the price.

90% of wrinkles came out after being in dryer for about 5 minutes. Soft/satiny feel. Add some automotive tape weights (self adhesive/flat wheel weights) to the holes in the bottom outside corners, and they hang straighter and flatter.

I wish they were darker, but still, I like them enough that I’m going to purchase another set for another bedroom. They look nice, and I feel are a good value for the price.

These were purchased to replace those horrid vertical blinds on a patio slider. Between the dogs and kids, they kept breaking off and didn’t turn properly. I loved the pattern and neutral color of the picture.

BUT BE AWARE: the background on the one is received is a light bluish/teal color. It works for me, but I would’ve liked it to be cream like the picture. The curtain itself is lightweight and flow-y. It isn’t a blackout curtain and I’m glad.

I like that it still shows light when closed-privacy but not cave-like! It does get blown around a lot when the screen is open. I followed the advice of other reviewers and bought a wooden rod from H.

D. -that way you don’t need a center bracket that would interfere with opening and closing. Overall I am pleased with the purchase and price. I’m loving the softer look of the curtain:).

You definitely will not be disappointed if you purchase these. (Maybe measure though, I didnt and they touch the floor, but that’s on me not the seller!).

The quality of the curtain panels was excellent. Beautiful sunset with the colors that go with the room perfectly. The light does come through and are not black out curtains but they do filter the sunlight nicely and darken the room just enough.
