Best Wii Light Gun Games (2024 Updated)

I recently purchased this game and love it! It was in great condition, especially for the fact that it did not come in a box. No issues running them game at all. Thanks!

First off, it’s a Guitar Hero game. That alone makes it at least worth a rent. Some good things about this game is the improvement of the band lineup. You can pick your player as usual, but you can pick what characters you want (like Izzy Sparks) to fill the other remaining slots in your band, making your band feel unique and more life-like (since the band members will always be the same and won’t change out for every song).

The animation and graphics have improved some. Singers feel more alive and actually lip-sync the songs quite well. While the graphics will obviously be sub-par to its 360 and PS3 counterparts, it holds up well.

However, there were a few things that bugged me in this game. First off, the concept of a storyline here is virtually nonexistent. In past games, you move up from small party performances to large stadium concerts while trying to accomplish something in the end.

This game has none of that. Just play through the venues and beat enough songs and you win. The end. Not very satisfying. Also, the lack of songs people have heard of is present here as it was in World Tour.

I might not be an audiophile but I had never even heard of about half of the bands listed. Lastly, I wish the game was more consistent in what it delivered. Songs range from the slowest indie to button mashing metal.

I heard that this will be improved on in the upcoming game, Warriors of Rock, so it’s not a huge deal. All in all, it has it’s flaws, but at least it’s worth a play or two. Rock on!.

Looks nice and clean, all the meters and numbers are easy to read. I used to get distracted by all the pop ups like the note streaks. The song have all been redone, some for the better, some for the worst.

Some of my favorite songs have been butchered tho. Raining Blood is now fairly easy on any setting, I loved that song because I couldn’t beat it without a real fight. On the other end the song by Lamb of God has been cleaned up and is now a great song to play and not just a hassle.

Lots of songs, I like that career can be completed on more than one difficulty and that all scores can be seen at once. The trophies are a little stupid aswell. They added a bunch of trophies for singing and playing with 4 and 8 people.

Getting all the trophies in this game requires buying a full band worth of equipment. If the drums and mic worked better it wouldn’t be an issue but they arent. The drums are too loud and you cant hear the game and the mic sets its star power off if you sing into it wrong, luckily I have a pop filter for recording.

I feel like a doof using it tho. I got it for 13 bucks and think it was well worth the price. I wouldn’t pay more than 25, I would buy GH Van Halen. Van Halen has worse songs, but the gameplay is the best Ive seen in a GH style game, lots of solid Hammer-ons and shredding maddness.

A bunch of good shredding in smash hits too. I love shredding.

What can I say? GH has and always will have a special place in my heart. GH3 is an absolute MUST have in your GH lineup! The music is outstanding and Through the fire and flames will challenge even the best GH pro.

The battle rounds are great and unlocking special guests makes it even more fun. What I loved then and now the most that GH3 brought to the table? CUSTOMIZED CHARACTERS!!! Now YOU can take center stage in the game!! I wish they had offered more hairstyles, but that’s my only complaint.

Don’t forget to save your gig money you earn and go unlock even more bonus songs to play!!.

Over all this game has great songs and good gameplay just like most other Guitar Hero games. I think the graphics are pretty bad but it is a PS2 game and this was before the better developers purchased the series rights.

For a rhythym game the only important things are the song list and the actual gameplay so I would give it a 5/5 using those metrics.

I purchased this for my son, who used to have it for the Nintendo Wii. He is very happy with it and loves playing along. My granddaughter is also having a go too!

I love it, brings back memories from the Saturn days. Fun game short and simple, for the most part.

I bought this game when I was in second year university. This game was delightfully terrible and me and my room mates would get drunk and have tons of fun completely failing to complete any of the missions or do well at the shooting galleries.

The story line makes little to no sense as you traipse through many pristine naturescapes absolutely massacring anything that has the gall to not be a biped. The shooting galleries are fun if you can get the remote gun to work which you most likely can’t since it asks you to stand like 10 feet away from the TV and the room wasn’t even 10 feet long.

Also you can throw out that little scope that comes with the gun it is pointless. Give it to someone watching and have them point out where to go in the drug induced hysteria parts of this “hunting game” where you need to use the magic eye red filter to see where to go.

I’ve enjoyed many Cabela’s games in the past, but with so many annual releases today, they just get worse and worse. I used to stomach the fast paced, force fed shooting scenes, just to get to the long, stalking hunts I’d come to enjoy.

It turns out Cabela’s 2013 Dangerous Hunts is 100% of what I didn’t like in previous games. I’d much rather explore well designed, elaborate boards, stalking one trophy; but now we get nothing but repetitive, pathetically designed boards filled with gratuitous, schizophrenic bloodshed.

If I thought I’d be killing packs of 40 lions in story mode I would have never purchased this slop fest. I feel so cheated, I will never buy a new Cabela’s game again. I’ll just play one of the older, better versions every couple of years.

I think I’m done buying new games in general. I thought I could trust Cabela’s to be consistent, but Activision clearly just wants to produce larger profit margins instead of quality gaming. While I’m thinking of it, the new gun is junk too.

I’m tired of bruising myself with that thing.

Bought this for my 9 year old son for his birthday. He really loves it! I thought it was fairly realistic, providing all the aspects of a true hunting adventure, such as having to utilize cover and avoid things that could make noise if stepped on.

There is not a lot of skill needed in order to locate the animals, as you can use your “hunter sense” to reveal colored pillars that indicate the direction to travel in to locate the game. There are some challenging aspects, such as crossing over logs, where you can fall into the abyss below, however that is not graphic.

Hunting the dangerous animals, such as bears and lions can be a little traumatic for younger children, as the hunter can be killed. Other than the screen changing to red, indicating that you have been injured or killed, there is no graphic violence.

The arcade aspect allows anyone in the family to shoot as many animals as possible in a given time period, with rewards given for accuracy, which helps teach the neccessity of making good shots. And yes, I have played it too and really enjoyed it.

I would recommend this to anyone except for younger children, and those who expect it to be like walking through the woods in real life. If you enjoy it for the game that it is, the fairly realistic graphics will provide for endless hours of fun.

This game was a little difficult to get the hang of at first – having to use the remote as a guide to see and the nunchuk to move around. The first time my son played it, he didn’t play long. After a week had passed, he tried again.

We then played with the remotes and figured out how to use the scope and night vision modes. Since then he has played it almost daily. He does use something to prop his arm on so he can remain still while aiming.

Overall this is a pretty good game. There is much to learn and much to get through, it is mostly about navigating and using your given supplies. Some of the challenges are about impossible. It took about 5 tries to get past one bear, but this may be a plus, if you were to run into a bear in the woods it may not be an easy situation to get out of.

The hunts are challenging and can be exciting. Sometimes we find that it is difficult to move the hunter and get him to do what we want him to. Overall, I think it is an enjoyable game and will give our family hours of fun and learning experiences.

I gave it a good because it is rather complicated to learn the navigation, might be a bit too much for a younger child. My Down Syndrome boy of 12 lost interest after a while, although he does fine with Xbox WWII Call of Duty.

he probably will come back to it though. and keep on learning. Would recommend getting it used like I did. as a bundle.

I like the game, let me start there. Great family entertainment and the whole nine. My two year old even like that he gets to kill bears!!! (Not raising a bad child but he likes the fakt that he kan play games with us.

) Mother plays the game just as much as I do and she is even a better shot sometimes so kompetition is very high. The thing I don’t like is that during career mode you walk around in the direktion you point your gun in and never get a chance to put it down and walk normal like a hunter would.

Having that feature would take the game to new heights instead of when you move the kontroller a little to the left or off skreen you go into “spin-mode”. Also this may be more of a Wii problem than Cabela’s but the ikon jumps in awkward motions right after a shot and it may be trying to make it seem like rekoil but it happens too far after a shot for it to be natural.

Remember I like this game!!!.

Multiplayer feels great and has a fun combat system. Id highly recommend this game to anyone looking to experience the classics. I always wanted to play the original zombies and Im very happy with the way the whole game feels.

The campaign is especially great and feels good to control. Each episode starts with these awesome graphics that feel timeless and unique. Zombies is absolutely worth getting the dlc for as well. I played only a minor amount of the multiplayer but thought it was great too.

Overall Id give this game a 10/10, and it still holds up in 2021 (year of this review).

Well the day following that I got another email saying world at war had shipped and it actually arrived before my other three games! The game is in fantastic condition and I played it today! IšverstiShow in original languageHonestly, I am psyched that the activation key is valid and I can play on a local multiplayer server. I have heard of so many issues with the STEAM version, I took a chance and paid less than $10 with shipping and I could not be more satisfied.

I believe steam charges $25-$30 and then it doesn’t work for a bunch of players. I am so glad that I took the chance and bought the hard copy DVD. It was not new, but the activation worked perfectly and the disc was in great condition.

I play multiplayer and there are not a lot of matches. I’m surprised the servers are still online after like 10 or more years. I have a blast locally with my bro on LAN. Brings back memories of playing it on the Wii.

Them Dogs are still scary, must’ve been traumatized by them when I was a wee one.

I like the way the game is played as I am a hunter and the game is made so that not only a aged hunter can experence a hunt but teach younger hunters how to hunt. The game teaches you to look for the signs of the game you are hunting and how well you use your hunting skills.

How well you pick the right animal to kill and shot placement for a humane kill. The only thing about the game that I would like to have on the game is how to track a wounded animal if I made a bad shot.

The Bear and cougar also makes the hunt intersting as these animals are out there and it is possible to run into these kind of problems. The bear I have killed but the mountain lion has got me every time but I am getting closer in bagging it.

I bought the game as my 11 year grandson has it and one day I want to be able to carry on hunting skills to him. This game has the skills that I want my grandson to understand. The game also has mimi hunts for rabbits,fox and ducks and geese & phesant makes good shotgun skills.

I’ve bought all the big game hunters and most dangerous hunts for my husband. He loved them all however, and this is a big however, whithin a week he’s through the whole thing. This Big Game Hunter allows a hunter to do all the hunts various ways and receive bronze, silver and gold for the skill of the hunt.

Its like having 3 big game hunters. In addition there are more hunts with different animals to go on. I will say this, it has been a week and he is still hunting and very happy husband at that.

This is the first Wii Cabela’s game we have purchased, and we were quickly impressed. The graphics are on par with the rest of the Wii titles and the gameplay is easy to grasp, yet challenging enough to require practice.

Utilizing the Shotgun peripheral makes the gameplay more exciting. We would strongly recommend this game for gamers of all skill levels and ages. If you love hunting big game, you won’t go away disappointed.

As a real bird hunter myself, it comes to no surprise that I absolutely love this game. Not to mention, the condition of the disc, case, and manual all was absolutely phenomenal. Definitely well taken care of.

It also arrived fast too. Overall, great price and quality of a great game.

I bought this because I played this game over a friend’s house when I told them I am horrible and aiming and shooting. Apparently, I was pretty good at and could do a long shot. I got this game for $5.

50, so compared to getting it for 10-15 dollars. Well, anyway besides my personal experience. This game is pretty good. Gameplay: The game play is fun especially if you want to get a high score and a good chain.

It feels more realistic if you bought a Wii gun controller. The point system is good and it is set up as competitions and new competitions become unlocked as you pass. You do have a clock to deal with as well as limited ammo.

The different animals can help unlock guns, ammo and special features for that stage you are on. There are illegal targeted birds which you can’t shoot and if you do will end up subtracting from your score.

The controls are solid and is reactive to where you point. It’s pretty solid even though it can be repetitive at times, but overall pretty solid. Graphic/Sound: They’re pretty good even though it remind me of the old SNES duck hunting game.

It’s crisp with color and realistic animals. However at times the ‘normal’ birds seem to blend in with the ‘illegal’ birds and can end up with you having a bad score. The sounds well, pretty realistic animal sounds.

My pet peeve is the guy’s voice. At first I found him funny with his weird sayings such as “You just don’t miss!” or “Double Chain!” After a half an hour I was getting tired of guy’s voice repeating like a broken record.

Multiplayer: Yes there is and I have tried it. The multiplayer is okay in this game. There’s a versus mode where four players do a shoot off with one controller and a co-op where 2 players at the same time start shooting targets.

It’s not the best multiplayer, but then again you really don’t want 4 players trying to cram into the game, but it could have been better. Overall, I believe it’s a good game especially if you want to hunt but you really don’t want to kill real animals.

In real life, I wouldn’t want to kill these animals. It’s a good game to let off steam as well, but don’t let it go too far in your head. It’s enjoyable and I would recommend to those who would like to pretend they’re hunting, but not.

It is always great to find a fun two+ player game for the wii. This reminds me of duck hunt, but much better, including levels and different birds to hunt. You can play one player mode going through levels and earning trophies, and also play against, or with (hunt together) another player.

Of course you earn points for shooting the birds, but you get more points for shooting birds without missing; called chain shots. Once you miss, however, the points you earn for shooting go back down and you have to build them up again.

Each level also contains various birds that you cannot shoot and lose points if you do, such as the female pheasants (hens) in the pheasant hunt. I am not giving it five stars because it seems there is something missing; some little spark that would keep you playing – maybe being able to play bonus games, or something, especially in two player mode; something you both can compete for instead of just score.

You do not need to purchase the guns that are suggested for it, save yourself a chunk of money and just buy the software/game. You can use just your Wii remote with chuck attached. The standard Wii gun would also work, if you desire to hold a gun, but it feels more natural to just use the Wii remote and chuck.

This is a all around fun game! I’m sure all ages can play this game and have fun with. You can run hide dip slide dodge and lean around corners. It has a training to get the hand of it. The controls are amazing! I bought this game awhile back and its exciting and fun.

It seems more intense to me than the paintball on the field that i have played. (I play in the woods no big bunkers or areas to slide on really) But i tell ya, i miss paintball. The excitement has died down in the area where i live.

But I am proud to say i bought this game and i have no regrets, I’d reley to a friend that its worth whatever price for this game and that i’m sure you will have a whole lot of fun with it like i have.

I’ve only played this and a paintball game on the a computer. But compare the two and “Championship Paintball 2009” completley blows it away in every catagory. I give it a 5 for 5 rating. You can create your game plan in it and even build a game of your choice.

I’ve set my paintball guns down for a bit but after playing this it makes you want to get out there and play!.

The games overall playability is nice. You can slide into a knee or belly position from a full run. When your main charicter is out for the game you switch to an active player until everybody is out.

There are plenty of mods and upgrades for you marker and uniform. Here’s where it turns downhill for me. First, It is a SIN to not have 2-player action from a 1st person shooter game. I’m not sure if the makers didn’t want to spend the extra time and money in developing the programming for that or what, but.

SHAME SHAME. Second, The depth on the field is such that it makes is incredably hard to lock on an opponent when firing at them. Even when they are kinda close to you, they are small(and all though my tv isnt gigantic and 42″ it should be big enough) and hard to hit.

Maybe some sort of aim lock if you get close enough would be nice. So. I only give this a below average rating because i consider the average for todays games outstanding and this game is not for the few reasons I have explained.

It doesn’t mean that the game is poor. I just means its not as good. P. S. I did play it for a week or so after I got it, but it seams to be collecting dust as we speak. It will probably make it off the shelf every once and a while when I am in the mood for a change.

I bought this game for my 8 yr old grandson for Christmas. He’s just gotten into trying to do different things. He was so excited that he could play this game and then be able to go on church retreats to play paintball with his group.

I don’t know how he’s doing with it at this time. I went wild and bought him so many WII games that I’m not sure if he’s had time to get around to all of them. I had read all the reviews on this game and figured it was a good product.

I am very skeptical of games that claim to be an aircraft simulation. Blazing Angels is somewhat entertaining and provides some information to WWII from an American pilot’s standpoint. Some historical facts, but definitely not a history tutorial.

The sixaxis motion control is very refreshing to the typical console game-based flight “simulation” game. Sony definitely dropped the ball when removing the rumble feedback in the controller. This was a major loss in my opinion.

The wireless/bluetooth feature is nice, however. The storyline of Blazing Angels keeps you going and will engulf you into the feeling of an American pilot in WWII, but this is quickly watered-down when the action begins.

The game is exactly that – a game. This is not realistic in physics based aircraft motion – it’s better than nothing, but not close to the real thing at all. The controller does help out in trying to pull you into the game and the fast-paced action of piloting some of the finest aircraft ever developed – even in today’s high-tech jet world.

This game is great if you just want to turn on the PS3, jump into the action and play a flight game, shoot down some bad guys, and then turn it off to interact with the real world. But to REALLY get into the feel of flight simulation, a PC-based flight simulator game is best.

With that, you have more control over the aircraft, its systems, and a slew of weapons. Real weapons aren’t fired or released with one push of a button, by the way. An offshoot of Jane’s All the World Aircraft had a company (it’s no longer) that produced some of the most realistic and stunningly graphical simulator games.

I guess that was too much for today’s gamer that wants to just play an arcade game. Online play is better than most games, but the interface really needs some work. Searching for others to play can be frustrating, but it can be done.

Once in a game, whether it’s a versus or a co-op game, it is fun. The many different types of games in the online play is a bit much, but it does provide choices for different types of gamers. So, if you like arcade flight games, then this is the game for you.

You’ll love the sixaxis controller and the graphics of this game. If you’re into realism and the true feeling of flight, then this is not for you. I rate this game BELOW AVERAGE because I expect realism in a flight game.

This game just skirts above the POOR rating because some of the online play is fun. Playing against other real people online is always more fun than playing the main game by yourself.

The first thing that players will notice about Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII is that you wont be flying solo, ripping through gads of enemies like some airborne Rambo. On the contrary, youll have a strong support system in the air, thus the word squadron in the title.

Youll be flanked by a few friendly A. I. journeymen can be given direct orders. The wingmen in Blazing Angels have three basic functions: to protect, to fight, and to heal. Each wingman is better at one task than the others, but each can perform every command available in your repertoire.

Tom is the protector of the squadron, and therefore always stays within view of your bird. Frank is the closest thing to a one-man-wrecking-crew of the bunch, treating any attacker that is thrown his way with extreme prejudice.

Last but not least is Joe, who plays the role of air medic in Blazing Angels. He doesnt do much, other than fix your plane in mid-air, which is no small feat. When Joes wrench icon is lit, you can summon him to repair everything from a ruptured fuel line to a faulty rudder.

Fixing your plane is as easy as calling Joe, then entering simple face button commands as they appear on the screen. Your success in entering this combo determines just how healed your bird becomes. Nail the combo and your plane will go from burning heap to sleek killer in no time.

The control scheme takes the tedium out of non-flight stick games involving dogfighting. While an argument could be made for having a cockpit view in Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII, the Follow Cam pretty much satisfies without having to go completely first-person.

With the Follow Camera, gamers can look as if they were in first-person mode, while still having a large view of the atmospheric real estate. The only downfall of the Follow Cam is that sometimes it can be overused.

Were creatures of habit, so there are instances when the normal view would suffice, but the mind says pull that left trigger. Once you learn to balance your time between the Follow Cam and the normal cam, the fun truly begins.

I really like this game, it’s fun and addicting. The best thing about it in my opinion is that you can use the nunchuck as your “stick” and fly the planes that way. There are challenging levels and the game allows for varied missions with both air to air, air to ground and, air-sea combat scenarios.

There are additional modes of play that I really haven’t tried out since I am still playing the “campaign mode. ” These include multiplayer, mini campaigns, arcade and ace duel modes. Things that will be frustrating to the first time user: 1.

The “stick” can get “stuck. ” In other words the wii may lose track of the nunchuck’s orientation in space. If you’re in the middle of combat in a roll or a loop this can be really annoying since the story ends up with your plane head first into the ground or whatever may be lurking around.

Beginners will have to put up with this until they master realizing the situation and adjusting. it takes practice. 2. One mission seems impossible to complete. I must have played the same mission fourty times.

Each time I succesfully landed the plane in the midst of obstacles and enemy fire only to wait at the objective without triggering the waypoint. As I’d drive around to try to trigger it I would inevitably die.

Not sure if this is a glitch or if I was proceding incorrectly. either way it was highly frustrating. Aside from those two gripes I love the game. It takes some practice to get good at, but it is a lot of fun.

It’s also neat to try the different missions with different planes. Par for the wii the graphics are not super but you won’t be paying any attention to them as you focus in on German, and Japanese flyboys.

I bought this game for my just turned 5 year old son. We are big GI Joe fans and this game was a great buy. It had an easy setting so he could have fun and play right through it in about a week. There are lots of great Joe and Cobra characters to unlock and play.

I know he will have fun playing this game in the future trying to find all the new characters. Many of the characters and vehicles used in the ROC toyline make appearances in this game. The game play reminds me (35 years old) of an old CLASSIC game I used to play on the regular old Nintendo system.

This game reminds me of a new 3D style Contra. I only have experience with the easy setting, but there is unlimited streaming ammo, with lots of different weapons, and aparently unlimited lives. (Remember the code for Contra’s 99 lives?).

Pro: fun game play, good story lines and characters are true to the history. Con: automatic targeting. I like to aim. background not interactive at all. Score 4 stars fur just a good time. looking forward to playing with a second player.

My children love this game, they play it all the time (when I let them). Thank you soooo much!! There is nothing that I dislike about it. I bought it because we had rented it from Family Video & my children loved it & wanted me to keep renting it.

It was soooo much more affordable to buy instead of renting it all the time.

Purchased for young son as he wanted a different one in store, this one is virtually the same one, but different objective. He has not even played it yet, so I am not sure if it matches up to what he originally wanted or if Christmas is just still overwhelming with all the new things to have time.

I will recommend it, of course, but if its a discounted price because its nothing too special. especially rated at “teen”.

It looks like a lot of fun but its not. There are infinite chickens flying all over the screen for a short time you are suppose to shoot at them. The directions arent clear why we are doing this or the incentive.

After 5 minutes its gets very annoying and boring. No true goal in this game.

bought this game for my grandsons, one is 3 the other is 5 they both love to play it. the 3 year old loves shooting the chickens! easy enough for a 3 year old to play. I’ve played it myself, pretty fun.

This is such an epic game beyond most people’s comprehensive capabilities of today’s majority of intelligence. I’m saying this whole heatedly, simply because these types of games is far from my favorite, yet this one holds tight into my soul.

From the nostalgia of my favorite game characters from my upbringing to the retrospect of the games mechanics and style of fighting. Absolute brilliance. I would 10 🌟 if I was able. (Ps. ganondorf is my favorite in this game, absolute beast) retrospectively respect, Kasey Copeland.

This game represents the confluence of a great series (Smash Bros) and a great console (the Wii). The result is an excellent game for (most of) the whole family. The Smash Bros series is known for giving us combat and entertainment with many of Nintendo’s favorite characters, but without the blood and gore.

If you don’t want your child to play Mortal Kombat due to the amount of brutal kills, you might consider Smash Bros as a cleaner alternative. While there is certainly violence, with hammers, laser guns, swords, and fireballs all used as weapons, it’s all very cartoonish and there are no brutal “kill shots” and no gore.

It’s a very PG way to smash your opponent’s skull. Of course NES favorites like Mario, Pikachu, Link, Samus, and Kirby are ready to battle, but many more (37 total) are ready to keep you and your friends or family entertained.

This game is great for family game night, teens, and even adult party play. If you like fighting games, even passively, Super Smash Bros. Brawl has the widest appeal of any fighting game on any platform, ever.

Once again I was able to go back to the old days with this one. This was the first smash game I played so to have it back in my hands was incredible since I hated that I sold it. The condition was great, packaging was solid, and the memories came flooding back.

Great game fun and easy to play. I have Parkinson’s and playing the game is a good way to practice your hand-eye coordination. It’s not like a lot of other games that there is so much going on you get confused.

This is a real-time game that helps with many issues one of them being attention span. I would recommend this game as a good way to have fun while exercising your brain. Works well with Alzheimer’s also.

My husband bought this game for himself during pandemic because we were all bored! It is a cool game! I recommend this game for children taht are 13 and older because it does get a little crazy! It is extremely exciting to play it! I highly recommend it!.

It’s a pretty fun game with a huge variety of animals to hunt. My husband loved playing, and he is the most anti-video-game person I know! The “hunter sense” feature was pretty cool and very useful. While I found it somewhat of a challenge, my husband was able to complete the whole career hunt within 2 weeks.

However, he found it fun enough to start another profile and do the whole thing again, this time with hopefully better scores. You do need to have both the Wiimote and the nunchuk to play this game, but you don’t need a special gun controller or anything.

The only things we did not like were sometimes you are given a hunt for some exotic animal we’d never heard of and did not know what it looked like. There was a way to find profiles of the animals, but it was hard to find at first.

When you are in the middle of a hunt, you don’t want to stop to find the profile. All in all, it’s a pretty fun game that can be played at almost any age level. Also, it defaults to a view where you are looking at the back of “your” head, which can get in the way of sighting animals.

All in all, it was a fun and at times challenging game with only a few less than impressive moments. An avid gamer might not like this game, but a beginner or someone who just wants to have a little fun would probably enjoy this game very much.

Beatles Rock Band is fun to watch and play. It is accompanied by slightly alternate mixes of the well-known songs, and the graphics are superb. I indicated that the gameplay was not “compelling” because that implies edge-of-your-seat intensity.

But the Game is thoroughly entertaining.

Of course we have all heard Beatles’ songs for years and years, and thousands and thousands of times! PLAY this game, and PLAY the songs, and all of a sudden they all sound and feel NEW. There is then a new perspective on WHY it beens years and thousands! An entirely new perspective of the Beatles!.

Beatles Rockband for the last-generation consoles–PS3 (or Xbox 360 or Wii)–is the only way to get an interactive Beatles song experience. The songs are not available for mainstream Rock Band or Band Hero titles, and Beatles Rockband is not available for PS4 or Xbox One.

It’s a fantastic game–of course the songs are amazing, but also the Beatles animation and gameplay are great too. I hope the songs are made available for next-gen consoles, but I’ve heard of no plans to do so.

So for now, the only way to enjoy the experience is with Beatles Rockband for PS3, Xbox, or Wii, and the instruments are console-specific too–Playstation instruments are not compatible with Xbox, and vice versa, and the PS4/Xbox One instruments are not backwards with last-gen PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

That said, the game is great, and well worth the trouble and money to put a PS3 setup together. I bought a used copy of Rockband 3 for PS3, which is compatible with all the songs on the Rockband store, and those songs (not the Beatles songs) will transfer to PS4 when I upgrade (likewise Xbox 360 to Xbox One).

If you’ve ever been to an arcade and played Time Crisis or any of the other On-Rails shooters you will really enjoy this game, especially since it’s exactly the same as the Ghost Squad arcade at Dave & Buster’s only without the vibrating machine gun the arcade provides.

The graphics are what you would expect from this type of game, it’s not built to wow but to entertain. And this game is very entertaining. Picked up a pair of the Perfect Shot pistols and the buddies and I play it quite often.

There is endless replay-ability from different scenarios to chose as you play each mission, also there are in game weapons and many unlocks that make you want to keep coming back. Highly recommend. Also a plus is that unlike the others(i.

e. Living Dead shooters stuff) there is no blood/gore in this game so anyone can enjoy.

I bought this game for a rail-type, point-and-shoot arcade style game. I got exactly that. I originally bought a Wii two years ago or so for games like this, I knew I enjoyed going to the arcade and playing this style of game immensely and wanted to take it home with me.

Ironically, I missed out on hearing that these games were made for the Wii, so I just enjoyed the other titles that Wii has to offer and tried to make due with some of the other shooters on the market.

Well, I saw this about a month ago, promptly bought it, and it is all it says it is; a story-simple rail shooter. Not for someone that loves immersive worlds or long storylines with a lot of hours invested, but definately has a good amount of replayability.

You can unlock dozens of weapon choices (complete with advantages and disadvantages), several costumes and at least one new game mode. You rank up your character for another level of fun, dress him and outfit him as you see fit, and there you go! No surprises, but definately worth the money, would recommend to a friend and with four player capibility, a must for get togethers!.

Sega graces us again with a port of another one of their great arcade rail shooters for the Wii. Like with House of the Dead 2&3 Return, this is another fun, and classic light gun rail shooter brought to the Wii.

Because it’s a port of a game released in the early 2000s, needless to say, it looks like a Playstation 2 title, however, no one’s here for looks, anyone picking this up knows it because they played it in the arcade.

Like with House of the Dead 2&3 Return, all of the content is present here but Ghost Squad comes with a considerable amount of extras than House of the Dead. Aside from the standard game, there’s a variety of different challenge modes, unlockables, and gameplay styles to try.

Such modes include a non-lethal enemy arrest mode, a super hard mode, a ninja mode, and an uncomfortable misogynistic bikini girl enemy mode. Gameplay remains classic; the game directs you where to go, and you stop and shoot hostile enemies and rescue hostages until the screen is clear.

Paths branch out, and even though they just lead to more enemies, it offers a smidgen more of replayability. 2-player mode returns as well, making for a fun filled day of nostalgia playing with a friend whom you may have played this game in the arcade with or played it himself.

There isn’t any online play though, which is unfortunate considering this is great with a partner, however there is an online leader board, for what that’s worth. Lots of content and 2-player mode keeps the replayability high but this is mainly for fans of arcade rail shooters, which in this day and age is becoming limited, unfortunately.

Looking 8 years too old doesn’t seem good to some people either, but all and all, this is a fun little game to have with company if no one wants to play Rock Band or Smash Brothers. Also, when is Sega going to release their fantastic rail shooters of Rambo and Terminator? That’s my question.

Fun and challenging from a eight year old and my five year old thinks it is hard once it gets to level 3. I think from a mother’s point of view its a good game for kids because it teaches them that every video game is not easy and if you want to win you half to keep trying.

For the most part my son was excited because it was Ben10 the quality of the game is great and the monster are very created and good. The creators of this game did a good job. It reminds me of a real video game quality like when Mario Brothers game first came out and it was hard at first until you learned how to beat each level and go to the next.

From what I have noticed the game becomes harder with each level.

My son has all the Ben 10 games. This is his favorite by far. He was so excited when I gave it to him and he’s been playing it like crazy. It has a lot of added features the other Ben 10 games have not had.

After playing countless FPS games I decided to try out a hunting game for a change even though I was apprehensive of the idea. Nevertheless, I was happily proved right in my decision to buy this game.

Never had I played a hunting game before so this was something new. The game itself is linear in some aspects as you have a map to stick to but on some occasions you can use the environments fully – climbing onto higher ledges for a greater shooting position along with the surrounding flora.

The variety of environments and animals is fantastic ranging from Finland, USA to the savannah’s of Africa. Many big game are here such as Water Buffalo, Bighorn Sheep, a Bear, various birds such as Egyptian Geese and Ptarmigans.

Unlike Cabela’s Outdoor Adventures, this game lacks the fishing aspect of it but then again, it is a hunting game so I don’t see the point. Trophies are great and not hard to achieve either but acquiring all Gold medals on hunts may prove a challenge for some.

I recommend this game to any FPS players, hunting enthusiasts or a gamer who is interests but isn’t sure on the purchase. I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed the fun experience. 9/10.

Ordered this game for my 7 year old grandson. He will be receiving it on April 5th. I put the game into my Xbox system to make sure it was working properly. 2 hours later, I decided that it was more than satisfactory !! OUTSTANDING graphics and LOADS of fun with this game.

Cabela’s and Activision REALLY give you your money’s worth in this version of Big Game Hunter. This one comes highly recommended and I am glad to give it a 5 star excellent rating !!! GET THIS ONE FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY !!!.

We purchased this in 2015. We love it. It is superior to other cabela’s games that are older. You can do quick hunts, and it is easy to play with others by alternating hunts/ or attempts at hunting. A few areas are unrealistic as far as not spooking the animal when you are close and in plain sight, but overall, you are rewarded for being stealthy and working around behind various rocks and shrubs.

This is the triple O. G. Black ops game for all us C. O. D. Players out there. World at War originally started the zombies for C. O. D; that goes way back, but what hyped it up all these years for zombies.

Is this game right here. Zombies was the shitacki mushrooms on this game. I enjoyed every single second of it. All the maps were soo original, and the effects even back then, were out of this world. My all time favorite zombies maps: Moon, and Ascension.

Moon: Having the best Easter egg out of all the maps in the B01 series, and the most Bad*bleep wonder weapons. Let alone from doing the Easter egg, you get to blow up Earth, and watch Samantha plot her revenge.

That within itself is a lot of *bleeps. (:Ascension: Why this is my all time favorite, and possibly every fan favorite’s is because, it really set the tone for every zombies map after that. Not only did the Easter egg reveal to us players that Samantha’s true identity is a demonic being, but this is really where it started engrossing a lot of fans.

Which led to us expecting an Easter egg for every DLC after that. This is such a great game, and every black ops game after that. If you’ve never played this, or it’s series. You should. You’d love every second of it.

I was very upset to learn there are many features not available in this game for the WII edition. One of the main reasons was to play zombies, although you can there is no split screen so it’s only single player.

(Don’t forget the vending machine behind the bar for a revive) the only perk to one player zombies. It’s only one zombie map too. Online modes work but no 2 player for missions or training. Cheat codes don’t seem to work either, in the main screen you can escape from the chair and access a computer to enter them but they don’t work.

I got classic controllers for the game and in zombies they only let you pick from several pre set controls you can’t customize so they are kind of awkward. Game play is ok but I always preferred MW cod.

The turning side to side is slow aiming and you can’t cycle through killstreak rewards which is annoying. I’d like to be able to use a uav before an airstrike to increase it’s effectivness. If these are things you’re looking for get a different cod or buy it on a different platform that supports it.

I should of checked myself but didn’t think at all split screen wouldn’t be supported so kind of shocked.

I’ve always wanted a copy of this game when I was young. Now I finally got it. I bought it brand new and the case was good. Once I open the case the clips of the case broke at the bottom now I need to re glue the small pieces.

Also game disc had a few scratches on it. I’m not sure maybe the cased might scratched it? However the scratches doesn’t affect the gameplay. Overall highly recommend this to your call of duty collection.

Republic Heroes is not the best game. The controls are not the best and the graphics were outdated when it was released. What it does have is authentic voice actors from the Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon.

There is fun to be found in this game as the voice actors interact with each other, fighting droids is fun, and the plot feels like an episode from the show (even the introductions to each level have that lovable propaganda intro from the show).

Although a somewhat mediocre game, I highly recommend this game to fans of the Clone Wars show, it’ll be a perfect addition to your collection!.

The game is an enjoyable diversion that can be easily picked up and put down as time allows. The controls are a little weak because they suffer from an attempt to utilize the DS touchscreen when it would have been better served in other ways.
