Other reviews here spooked me so have been in contact with vendor. You must take the device to an ATT SALES store for immediate use. They will sell you the sim (5 bucks), activate (15bucks), take your prepayment for first month and set up autopay if you wish.

We chose 55 bucks for 100 gigs. Add taxes and that’s the price out the door. Now I will come back and update this if I have any issues. 4 stars because you have to go to a store to get this done right away (can’t do it until you have the device in hand as they need the IMEI number.

Bought this hot spot 2 days ago. Spent over 1 hour on the phone with 8 phone calls later to try to get service on the hot spot. Still have 2 pending charges for 75. 00 for the 8GB of service on my one credit card that I tried to apply to the hotspot online through their website and the payment FINALLY went through after speaking to the 10th person on the phone to try to get service and answering security questions so that the 75.

00 payment would go through using another 2nd credit card. Now I have to make sure I didn’t get triple charged. All 8 GB was burned through in less than 48 hours and the hot spot was not heavily used.

Will be returning this money sucker device due to the difficulty of getting service and the speed of burning through the entire 8 GB in less than 48 hours (it lasted about 36 hours and wasn’t even on the entire time).

Better to save your money and go with a different mobile hotspot. I’ve had a T-mobile hot spot in the past and it lasted for weeks with heavier use, but this one, is no good.

This little thing has saved me over $200 each month on phone and data service. My rural area offers no home Wi-Fi service providers. With this I now have Wi-Fi for all of my devices. 4 smartphones,a Playstation 4 and a tablet.

With this i no longer need to pay for expensive phone and data with mobile hotspot plans with contracts. I replaced all of my devices with much cheaper prepaid SIMS just to call. That alone saved a bunch.

This device handles all of our data needs. PLUS as long as I slip it in my purse or pocket I have Wi-Fi for all my devices where ever I go. The streaming seems to be a little faster than my old phone hotspot was when streaming movies and such from my playstation 4.

So far,No more buffering. How have I never seen or heard of these before now? Its GENIUS! Only wish I would heard of this sooner. I would have saved so much money.

This was a very economical solution for an international trip. I used it mainly for navigation when we were out and tried to stay off the rest of the time. I used A LOT of data very quickly though which surprised me.

I quickly hit the 8gb. My iPhone did not like using the wifi and even after changing the security settings it kept alerting me of weak security and changing the auto login setting. Also, the website to access these settings doesn’t always work via the hyperlinks.

It would be useful if this was just a part of the keepgo account page. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase.

My main goal buying the Keepgo was as a backup home Internet option for the too-frequent outages we experience. I need a way to at least access email and can’t wait a day until our ISP gets their act together.

The Keepgo Lifetime hotspot is perfect, because I can stock up on data and as long as I buy some more annually, the data allocation sticks around for when I need it. I verified that it connects via T-Mobile locally, with decent 4G LTE bandwidth.

I have not yet taken it traveling, but expect to use it during long family trips.

I absolutely love this new device. I did have some difficulty connecting at first but once I understood what each icon was for, it is now just real simple. It takes time for the device to find a signal as it has to search so many different options.

No issues with speed or connectivity once connected. I recommend this device to anyone looking for a personal wifi hotspot worldwide. Way to go Keepgo. Love Love Love my Keepgo.

Awesome, Ordered 3. Use them in a cricket account. Was using AT&T account for over $190. 00 for 3 lines plus air card. Ordered 5 Cricket lines for $125. 00 using 3 cells phones and 2 lines as air cards.

All with 22 GB unlimited per line. Cricket is owned by AT&T using same equipment. Spent few days to figure out how to change from AT&T to Cricket. Just go on line for info. That’s what I did.

Unfortunately, this hotspot did not work for me. No support from AT&T to make it work with an international SIM card. I contacted the seller (while traveling abroad) and explained the situation and requested a refund.

The seller sent me a shipping label and offered me plenty of time to ship it back. I wish I could have made it work, but the seller made this transaction a pleasure.

Works great just what i needed as i stay on the go. Can add external antennas when using it in the camper. Simple to use and easy to read screen. Good price and quality. My mom liked mine so much she bought her one.

I’m very impressed with this little MiFi router. Easy setup – insert SIM (full size SIM only) and battery. Plug-in to computer with supplied USB lead to charge battery and switch on using the button on the front.

It may take a minute or two to connect to the mobile phone network. Then you can watch it (lcd display on front of unit) working its way up the spectrum – 2G, 3G and then 4G (if available in your location).

It should then appear in your computer’s list of wireless connections automatically (preset for 2. 4GHz but has option for 5GHz). The network id and password is on a card in the box (or in the battery compartment).

You can connect to the router interface by wireless. Allows you display usage stats, and even send SMS texts. Add a micro SD card for shared disc storage. Obviously the first thing you should do is change the router’s password.

That’s probably all you would normally need to do. Well featured software with good web interface. All the features you would expect from a broadband router. Restrict access by MAC address, change wireless channel and configure auto-off (power saving).

Also configure LAN IP filter (firewall), SIP ALG, and Virtual Server/DMZ. I don’t know about battery life (others have said 4-6 hours) as I use the supplied mains-USB adapter andsupplied USB cable, and leave it as mains-powered.

Perhaps most importantly this particular model (E5577Cs-321) has dual aerial connections (TS9) allowing you to add external aerials which is necessary for rural locations. (Most 4G routers do not allow connection of an external aerial, or have only one aerial connection – you need TWO to take advantage of 4G.

) I think it also has an app so you can manage the router from your phone, but I haven’t tried that. Rock-solid connection with no drop-outs. An excellent device, which does all you would expect from a broadband-style router.

Having suffered poor service where we live from 3 we decided to upgrade the modem to this one in an effort to better things. We now get much better service than the previous huwaei modem ever did even without the antenna.

We now get 4g something unknown with the previous model. The modem was brand new in its box which had been opened to make it network free. A UK charger was supplied with the item. We caravan a lot and take the modem with us.

It has performed faultlessly so far out in the countryside. Give it a try.

Bought this to use in my holiday home in Spain as I didnt want to pay a 12 month broadband contract for a couple of months use. The unit is much smaller than I imagined, pocket sized. I just charged it and put a Three payg sim in and it was working straight away, nothing to set up.

I logged into the set up portal on my laptop easily and changed the SSID and password in a few seconds. The small screen is good as it shows the ID name and password as well as the amount of data used.

Im getting 10-12 Mbps on Three so not the worlds fastest but fine for watching HDTV. I use it with my now tv stick and streams sky tv fine. Perfect to take overseas if you just need WiFi for a few weeks or couple of months of the year.

I do not recommend this product. I have now used it for about 2 months. I use it as a hotspot and also as a network to connect my Sonos sound system. GLocalMe offers their own data plans, which are insanely expensive, but they also say they support other SIM cards.

I am using an AT&T sim in it, but it only works randomly, often saying no internet connection. It also will randomly drop the AirPlay and Sonos app connections to my sound system, and will not allow updates to most products, even with data metering disabled.

I have purchased many products from B&H that serve me well, but this one is a big disappointment.

It can be used with several different modes. You can directly connect to a computer via USB or Wi-Fi; you can use it with your own SIM card; you can subscribe to their service. Because it can use virtually all the 4G LTE frequencies, it can be used world wide.

All the options are easily controlled with the built-in touch screen. It’s nice that you can alter the device ID and password. (What’s odd is that the password has to be exactly eight characters. ) This is a well thought out device and I would highly recommend it.

Esports coach for a school – district wifi blocks our access, so we’ve been using this for a few weeks now. I’ve used it for Zoom – works fine. We’ve had several Nintendo Switches connected & online, also works fine for that.

Was not strong enough to host a PC on Rocket League though.

Not very happy with this product. Weak security is always displayed on my cell phone from this “Alcatel device. ” This device is not worth buying. Couldn’t get help at the beginning when first purchased to understand it’s usage because, I wasn’t the only person.

Besides that had many drops and displayed many times “ no wi-fi connection. ” Buyers be cautioned!.

The very first month I loved it. After that GARBAGE!! GB dnt even last 2 weeks. We was actually not in our home for couple weeks Metro said we had used all high speed up. Who did my ghost.

Best speed It can muster, even with a VPN is around 10mbps download. Advertised up to 150 is very doubtful although only tried in one place so far. It keeps turning off daily about 2 to 3 times and to reset the thing, You must hold down the tiny little on button, if you can find it, for around 1/2 min for it to power up.

I’m looking for a better way to get my GOV. PROVIDED INTERNET. hehe THE MAX.

3x carrier aggregation, which knits together three different bands of radio spectrum into a single wider highway for greater speeds. I was getting 15-25mbs on my old hot spot, now I get 45-55mbs. That was one of the main reasons I bought it was for the 3x carrier aggregation.

It’s splash proof, they battery last along time and it has a rubber like casing. I tried about 5 different cheap china external antennas and they didnt seem to improve signal at all. the internal antennas work better.

If you need a unlocked version, buy a unlocked version! ATT will not give you a MEP code to unlock hot spots anymore so you will have to pay for a unlocking service and that will just add on to the price of the unit.

Just buy a unlocked unit and save some money!.

Works well, good but not excellent. I’m guessing it depends on your location and proximity to the towers. I used mine in both West Virginia and around Austin. I never used antanas for signal strength.

I would say the Blackhawk probably works better being 5g capable and more capable to work with your router as a signal extender.

I’m not sure if it’s the AT&T service or just this particular hotspot, but it’s definitely a lower quality of signal than sitting side by side with my 7730L with Verizon. It’s slower and even at the lower speeds with a solid 2 bars, there will be long periods when things just sit there trying to load (spinning/waiting for data).

It does sometimes give me some sort of service on the rare occasion that Verizon isn’t cutting it, so it’s definitely better than nothing or having just Verizon alone, but I definitely won’t be canceling Verizon and I’m honestly not sure if this service is worth $35 a month.

These are great, until (as happened with my previous one) it just dies and quits working, for no apparent reason. Neither Boost Mobile nor Netgear is willing to do anything at all to help, unless it’s still under warranty (one year).

After that, apparently you have little choice but to throw it away and just buy another one. Both companies have tech support staffs which aren’t helpful at all (leave you on hold for long times, give useless advice, refer you to wrong phone numbers at other companies, etc etc).

Good product, until it stops working. The companies involved (manufacturer, service provider) are both nearly-useless.

I had this item through AT&T, after 15 months it stopped working. Warranty was up but still had 9 months on conttact. Was cheaper to go to Walmart and buy this then terminate my contract. Just installed my Sim from other unit into this one.

Make sure you get 2yr warranty with Walmart cause AT&T only offer 1yr direct from them.

I bought this because our family plan with 6G’s don’t last all month. I figured the 2G would be enough. Well my daughter left her wifi on and it used up the 2G in about 4 hours. I was ecstatic to say the least.

Its a good thing if you have a good service connection where you’re using it.

Had one of these from Azn, and returned it after less than 24 hours. Not even remotely 4G speeds. They seem to be roaming on T-Mobile, but even when I used my Google Fi SIM, speeds were consistently 1/20th – 1/30th the speed of a 4G phone in the same physical location, on the same network.

I suspect they don’t support B66.

I ‘ve performed on stage’s since 1968 Guitar Stings are over priced, and most of the string stock is manufactured at the same factories. Spending high prices for a so called name brand is wasting money, My Opinion! These strings stay in tune I change my strings every 2 weeks, Frugal I am.

I play lead guitar, smooth picking. Folks who hammer on the strings, break the lighter gauge strings. I say you’d be , Happy With Buying these Strings.

I had another one just like this for over 6 years. It worked great, so I thought I’d get a replacement. This one, which I didn’t start using until day before yesterday, has a very poor signal and drops the signal constantly.

Plus, the password on the device didn’t work. Luckily Verizon was able to get it to work. On top of that, it over heats. I charge it and within an hour it’s dead, which I’m sure is the battery, but the lose of signal is the worst.

I’m sorry I bought this and now will need to get a “new” one from Verizon. I should have tried this before the 30 days and I would have returned it. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for.

I purchased this item b/c my family & I are always on the go & needed wi-fi to take with us. I’ve had this for 2wks & love it. I have my laptop & my sons playstation3 hooked up to the jetpack at the same time.

I had expected for their to be a lag or slow internet & to my surprise their has been none. My boys love to play their playstation3 online and with some other prepaid companies their wifi is slow and lags.

This in turn can create slight pauses or freezing of the game while in play. That is not the case with this veizon jetpack. I have only used 2GB of my 10GB in 2wks. my children and I go online pretty much everyday and have yet to experience any problems or dissatisfaction while using this product.

FYI upon inital set-up (which was fairly easy# I was asked 2 make my first payment in form of credit card or a refill card #which can be purchased at the same time that you get the jetpack). The store did not carry a $90 refill card which I needed for my monthly plan so I purchased two $50 refill cards instead.

The set up process on the computer wld not allow me to add the two refill cards to my account. It only allowed one form of payment during the set up process so I had to call in to customer service to get them to add on the 2nd refill card.

Customer service had me set up in 7mins and assured me the next time I make a payment that I cld make multiple forms of payments. slightly more expensive but definitely worth it for pre paid gaming online.

I was hoping to replace my home internet with this device. The device is fast and holds connection well; however, it seems that it will not charge and run while the battery is in. In order for me to use this as my primary internet device it needs to be able to run entirely off of the AC adapter, but instead it would wear down the battery, then shutoff and charge.

I still need to try to use it without the battery in it at all. I’m not sure if it will work or not in that case. I put my iPhone 5 nano-sim (with a nano-regular sim adapter) in this device, and was able to use my grandfathered unlimited data plan without issue (which is something that Verizon said WAS possible — this is possible because of the deal they made when the purchased the 700Mhz spectrum for LTE I believe).

Side note: Streaming Hulu for about 3 hours from my PS3 off of this device consumed about 3gb of data (which is fine if you have the unlimited data plan).

Very good in a moving truck across America, you can use a mimo antenna with Ts9 connectors or two seperate single line antennas in order to get LTE input output signal in case you drive down rural roads with poor coverage.

This model falls back on 3G when 4G or LTE or SPARK signals are poor. When ordering an antenna make sure you pick the Mhz range of 700-2600 to be sure to cover 2g through sprint Spark high frequency LTE signals.

I paid $15 for two magnetic mount antennas with 5db boost and I saw a one to two bar increase on the display and in fringe areas a boost up from 3g to 4g lte. This is a great option for those at home too that have to choose poor copper landline dsl internet or monopoly cable company outrageous prices.

Bring your own sim card and enjoy low cost high speed internet wherever you go. The micro usb port works as a usb tether as well if you want to do a direct connection to your laptop or your android HDTV box.

It will recharge at the same time it provides data. You can take the battery out and it will still remain powered in case you were wondering or you wanted to hotswap out the battery and not disconnect.

IF you want to bring it camping and will be gone for over 12 hours, you can bring a second battery for up to 12 hours servce per full charge. The replacement battery model number is W-1 1800mAh and 11.

6 volts. It holds up to your car’s cigarette lighter 11-14v output. Just use a good adapter to connect with surge protection built in to avoid toasting the battery.

I had the smaller Virgin Mobile hotspot for three years and it worked very well before finally burning up and dying. I switched to this one to be able to connect multiple devices. Forget it, you can’t even get one device working for more than three minutes.

It is constantly turning itself on and off, constantly disconnecting and reconnecting, although every time it says the signal strength is strong or very strong. so it can’t be due to lack of a signal, especially when the other device worked fine.

If you want to go on the internet you have to turn it on about ten minutes before and let it turn itself on and off a dozen or fifteen times before you can finally connect, but probably for only about ten minutes, then you will have no connection, but it will show one again, then Windows tells you you have to reset it, so you turn it off, turn it on, wait ten more minutes for it to do its thing.

This is a piece of junk. And of course, Virgin Mobile doesn’t sell any kind of antenna which might improve or stabilize this problem. I wondered why they also do not offer a plan with more GB, so you could use multiple devices, as if you really had ten devices that used 6 GB a month, you would have to pay $550 a month to connect them using this device.

now I know why, it isn’t possible to get ten devices working on this thing, by the time you would get all ten turned on, this would disconnect. This thing will have you reading the Fios and Comcast ads and calling the cable company to see what they offer.

I can not recommend this. Oh, it also doesn’t hold a charge for very long, at most a couple of hours. you really almost have to leave it plugged in. and, guess what?. they made the cord so short, it doesn’t reach from a plug on the floor to average table top level!! Buyer beware!!.

I switched from the 3G Ovation MC760 USB dongle to the 4G LTE Netgear Mingle. I reside on the fringe of 4G (and 3G) area service. My 3G MC760 regularly dropped down to 2G or completely disconnected from the network.

With the Mingle I’ve had a consistent “single bar” on the Mingle’s LCD display and a reliable 4G connection. Not once has the 4G connection dropped down to 3G or disconnected from the network. Even though the Mingle has two ports to connect external antennas, I’ve had no need to use them.

The Mingle works on battery power and when charging. On average, I’ve had to charge the Mingle once per day depending on Wi-Fi use. USB tethering with my laptop also works well. So far I’ve used my Mingle with a Windows laptop, Android Tablet, and an Android phone.

I’m very pleased with the Mingle.

Hi I bought this very second hand to use as a mobile router. It does work, is unlocked but it is difficult to set up. Cheap and working I have to give it 4 stars. I used it with a Lyca mobile one month data sim (O2).

I only got it to work where the 4G signal was strong. I gave up with it and used the sim in a Huawei mobile phone as a hot spot. I found this much easier for my needs, constantly moving around. I think the product is suited to being used as a home 4g router in a strong 4g area where you set it up once and then leave it.

I bought the E5372 to use in my holiday home which has very poor connectivity. 4g has recently been installed in the village by Three/EE, but my mobile phone struggles to provide tethering. Static caravan walls are not good at passing mobile signals.

The 5372 paired with an external aerial gave me a strong signal and delivered 30Gbs once I got the aerial up at a good height (10ft from ground level – mobile roof height) and the wifi range of the 5372 covers the whole mobile home if the unit is located centrally.

Thus: Good cost effective solution for occasional wifi needs not frustrated by slow bit rates when paired with a Three pay as you go 24gb 4g/data card. It should service my needs cost effectively compared to installing a BT line with both an installation and monthly charge.

That’s much better !! Usiing this in our caravan in Northumberland ~ Previously used an EE Osprey mini – dropped the signal for fun and struggled with >2 devices. Using same SIM card – never had as much as a “blip” since we moved over.

Regularly run 2 x mobiles , 2 x tablets and a laptop concurrently with no hiccups. Great value , very reliable.
