The bass could be better, but other than that, the battery life is good, the overall sound quality is very good, they are umong the most comfortable sets I’ve tried.

Easy to use , baby loves starry night. Radio works great.

With a newborn baby on the way, I started researching and looking into baby monitors as something we were keen on for when our baby was born. I found that it was a bit of a minefield out there with dozens of products each with their own different types of monitoring capabilities.

Some checked temperature, some checked heartbeat/breathing, some were clunky attachments etc. After some consideration to reviews etc I decided go go with sense -u with the full video + baby 2 package which included everything – the monitor , the camera, base station, cables and full instructions in a nicely packaged box.

It was the only product which seems too cover pretty much everything in a baby monitor package which surprised me as there is a massive market for this out there The Sense u baby monitor product itself works great, set up was easy and the app is well balanced between ease of use and customisation featured such as changing parameters before it alerts you (if you want to) and the display page showing a baby picture with the sensors for temperature, breathing status and body position.

These are all the sensors you need to make sure you baby is okay. If it goes out of the parameters it sends an audio alert to your phone and/or the base station. I’ve not had any issues with it and seems accurate and good battery life (not sure how they crammed all this into the clip on attachment!) The attachment itself is small which was a must for me as I didn’t want to make my baby uncomfortable.

There was another good product on the market which clips onto the nappy but it was bulky and it put me off. The sense u attachment has really made a great trade off with the portability and size profile of the device without compromising on features or battery life which to me ticked all the boxes.

It clips to the top of the nappy perfectly though it’s not officially stated you can probably use the Clip on other parts of the clothes. I’ve had no issues or problems using this device as of yet. One small issue was that when the baby was first born, she had a cord attached to the belly button which we had to wait to let fall out before using the attachment as it goes into this area at the belly button above the nappy.

It does say in the instructions to use at that particular area but I’m sure you would get the same results a bit further across the belly on the nappy. I’ve been using the product for a few weeks now and though not used the camera properly yet, it works fine and once our baby moves into their own nursery Room, we will be using this also and the micro SD card port is a great addition to capture memories I feel much safer using this product , I must say that I think they did a great job with this particular package as to this date, nothing comes close to a full baby monitor package that has all the features you need in one.

Really happy with this and would recommend it to other buyers who are looking for similar. Better than I expected.

the baby monitor camera i bought for my baby girl has decreased my stress level whenever i leave her to play to make dinner. i was a the fence at first about the idea of a camera washing your kid at all time.

been a single dad and going to classes for new moms, i was recommended to buy this product. for the past 2 weeks i have been using it, i can say that i no longer keep my child close to me at all time in case if they cry and i can’t hear my princess cry.

the device enabled me to be able to sleep alone in my bed and do other things in the house while she plays. things i don’t like about the camera, the camera quality isn’t 4k and unable to view the video wireless.

the moms in the group said that ok because of privacy. but i believe their should a way to view the videos from your phone wireless either by Bluetooth or geofence wifi. having two mobile devices can sometimes be a lot.

if they can sink it via Bluetooth to an Alexa or google device with the camera been online that would great.

I can’t say enough good about this camera and the company. The camera & monitor are literally elite. The noise reduction is EXCELLENT because I don’t know a momma who doesn’t have a sound machine in her babe’s room and without noise reduction it would be all you’d hear.

The temperature reading is little lovely feature as well. Babies sleep best between 68-72 degrees and you think you’d know based on the temp of your home but that’s not entirely so if the door is closed, etc.

Every aspect of this camera is wonderful. I personally prefer my camera not be on Wi-Fi because the thought of my internet getting hacked and someone peeping in was unnecessary anxiety (especially in the early months when your boobs are out 90 percent of the time).

Recently, and the main reason i’m even writing this review, is I had to contact customer service because my camera’s sound stopped working. I am not sure why and it could have been victim of my infants drool buckets but it’s hard to know for sure.

So I reached out, we went through troubleshooting with no luck, and the kind souls at infant optics sent me another camera. I could have cried. I am a single mom and things are just so expensive. I can not tell you how wonderful they were to work with.

It was such a BLESSING.

When we were looking at Baby Monitors for our first child, we, like many other parents didn’t really know where to begin. My job is in tech, so naturally, I gravitated towards a more “techy” monitor (The Miku) that used wifi and our smartphones/tablets.

However, after a few weeks of using it, we realized that the Miku, while ok, has a lot of flaws. (namely, that it requires wifi and the connection is intermittent) and is not really a portable unit. We were recommended by a family member to try Infant Optics and it has become our primary baby monitor.

It requires no wifi, is easily set up and can be used portably, and works beautifully. What we really love: – it’s not WiFi. the wifi models have serious connectivity issues and it turns out, your smart phone or tablet are not always reliable for notifying you that the baby is awake or crying – pan, tilt, and zoom.

It’s not bad, but at about an hour it’s nearly dead and ready for a recharge. However, we keep it plugged 90% of the time so it’s a non issue. Overall a great monitor and it will be used for years to come.

This is our third DXR-8 unit, and the pro is a major upgrade from the previous model. The DXR-8 (not the pro) suffered from connectivity issues in our house, particularly if a nearby phone was connected to WiFi.

It also would sometimes have issues connecting if we were two rooms over or on another floor of our house. The Pro has none of those issues, with smooth connectivity and a much better picture. The volume buttons are a welcome and much needed addition.

We’ve tried fancy WiFi monitors like the Nanit that would disconnect in the middle of the night and wouldn’t reconnect unless you unplugged the unit. After that, we used the DXR-8 (not the pro) for nearly three years, and even bought one for grandma’s house when he spends the night there.

I’ve recommended the previous version to many people, but the Pro is definitely a step up and will be my new go-to recommendation from now on. While it doesn’t seem as high tech as other models, it beats those in reliability.

You don’t have to worry about disconnecting in the middle of the night and not hearing your baby wake up. My only suggestion for future models (and this is a minor quibble) is that the tan color of the unit is really unappealing.

A plain white or grey would make the unit look more modern.

At 720p this Baby Monitor is amazing quality as a higher resolution would be useful just for zooming in as you don’t notice much of a difference on small screens like this. It is bright and clear. The camera view is narrower than I expected but nothing that detracts from the product.

There is almost no lag in the video. This is most likely due to the 720p resolution as it generates less data, turning the disadvantage into an advantage. The sound was fine. I can hear my baby clearly.

Range is essential for us as our house is larger than average. Fortunately, the VAVA baby monitor worked in all the rooms and even in the outside kitchen, which is separate from the house. follow the movement, it will be useful even when the baby is much older than it was for our toddler.

We loved the battery life. With USB-C, it charges fast, but it’s great that it lasts all night and longer on a single charge without being plugged in. That’s great because it gives you flexibility. If you need to temporarily move the baby to another room, you don’t have to search for an outlet, which may not be available or give you a good camera angle.

The overall design is excellent. It feels and looks premium and has most, if not all, of the features most parents/grandparents would want. It would be perfect if the audio was as good as everything else, but it’s close enough.

I was very happy with my dual monitor at first. not even a year of having the monitor one of my cameras stopped working. I called customer service Technical support where they tried to resolve the problem & couldn’t.

Rep stated that it could take up to two weeks to get a replacement as they needed to see if it was covered under warranty first & that she’ll call me back in 3 days. 5 days later no call. I called again and 2nd rep advised since I purchased their camera from Amazon they will not replace it and Amazon should.

I called Amazon customer service and they stated it’s not their product and all they did was ship the product for Vava company. When I called back to speak to the supervisor Jen (Jenavi) she was beyond unprofessional & very rude.

Sadly this company only has one supervisor. She refused to help me in any way. She kept stating it’s company policy. Had many excuses as to why they won’t replace my camera which non of the excuses made sense.

She REFUSED to give me corporates phone number or her supervisors phone number or email. She than began to place me on mute and refused to speak to me. She kept me on mute for over 10 mins before she hung up on me.

Than my husband called to speak to her & she refused to speak to him as well, placed him on mute and than hung up on him as well. This is beyond unprofessional, didnt have this camera even a year before one of them stopped working & the customer service was absolutely AWFUL.

You’d think Spending $300 on their product they’d treat you better. There are many great baby monitors out there for the same price if not cheaper with better customer service. Highly recommend staying away from this company! I’ve read many other reviews where you can purchase this product from and wish I’ve seen those reviews before purchasing this product, as many people have dealt with the same issue and received poor customer service as well.

We spent hours researching fancy video monitors that read room temperature and stream to your smartphone, etc, and finally decided we’d buy a simpler, sound-only monitor and then decide if we needed anything more complicated.

I’m so glad we didn’t spend the several hundreds on something unnecessarily high-tech— this monitor is great and serves our needs perfectly. It picks up all our baby’s little squawks and sighs, and no background noise at all, even with the fans and humidifier running in his room this summer.

The nightlight is a nice feature, though we don’t use it. I like that it notifies you with a little chime if the receiver is on but the transmitter isn’t. Overall a great product. One downside is that the flat part of the base isn’t huge, and has round edges, so I knock it over all the time, by bumping the table it’s on, or moving the cord at a different angle.

I bought this to have for the grandbabies. my kids have them but always forget to bring them along. So. the price was reasonable and I’m so glad that I invested! The sound is VERY clear and interference not a problem at all.

Very please with my purchase! Each unit is super lightweight – and if the handset is not plugged in the base will beep (a good reminder) Our extra bedrooms are in basement so we need them to be reliable.
