I like my Apple Earphones with Remote Microphone. I appreciate that I can listen to music, and if a call comes in, I can transfer to the call quickly. In addition, the quality of the sound is fantastic.

The EarPods fit perfectly in my ears; they are better than the old circular earbuds. I am able to adjust the volume, fast-forward or rewind music/videos, and answer/end calls, all with just a press of the cord.

The microphone works excellent; it picks up your voice without getting all the background noise. They also are water and sweat-resistant. These Apple Earphones are reasonably priced, and they work with most iPhones.

I recommend this product, and I would purchase them again.

Though the Best Buy website says it is compatible with apple computers, it is not. I think it only works with an older model Apple TV. I had wanted to use it with my computer for PowerPoints. So disappointed that when I returned it, it was more than 15 days and I only received store credit.

I purchased it for a trip because the website said it was compatible.

This remote was purchased as a replacement to use with 4th generation Apple TV. It works great with basic features. Do you prefer to have Siri to help with searching? You have to decide whether paying additional $40 for Siri is worth the investment.

Eye decided to keep the basic remote and get the Siri remote to have a spare. Very satisfied with my decision to get both. These remotes are super tiny ——only complaint is the size.

I have wanted a Cricut for ages and finally but the bullet and bought the Explore 3 last week. We have to pay to have work t shirts printed and vinyl signs printed but not anymore! The young lady at Hobbycraft was lovely, we were on our way to buy a machine at another store but thought would pop into Hobbycraft on the way to check out their pricing.

The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and showed us all the machines available and their features etc. She was genuinely interested and made us feel comfortable. We left to go to the other store and spoke to the man in there who obviously didn’t have a clue, he didn’t even know what the machines did! So after a couple of minutes we left there and straight back to Hobbycraft and bought the Explore 3 and an armful of vinyl! I have enjoyed playing about with the cricut and joined all the Facebook pages with lots of advice, watched loads of Barbara Makers videos on YouTube and feel confident with it now.

I have printed a few new work t shirts and loads of signs! Looking at making Christmas presents now! Love my machine and love Hobbycraft.

The cricut maker 3 is exactly what I wanted from a multi-purpose die cut machine. Already owned a Cricut Joy that is a wonderful little machine but the maker does a lot more and can cut a lot more materials from vinyl to leather to wood.

It also cuts very quickly and effortlessly; allowing for less time cutting and more time crafting! I love how intuitive and easy it is to use. Combined with a Cricut Access subscription. It is the perfect machine for the serious crafter/ small business owner!.

Having owned the 1st gen SE for five years the battery was shot and I was contemplating replacing it for a while, but I’m glad I waited for the 3rd gen SE to come out – with the same A15 chip as the current flagship iPhone 13, and even the upcoming iPhone 14, it has performance to spare and is future proofed as far as any phone can be.

Apps launch instantly, mobile 4g and 5g speeds match wifi performance (depending on the signal of course). I find battery life to be excellent – after a full day of use (for me that’s at least 3 hours screen time using web, navigation, email, texting, photos/video, a few 10 min calls) I often still have 60% battery left the next morning.

Whilst the LCD screen is small and unfashionable with its bezels, it is adequate for all my daily needs including email, etc. if you know you need a large screen for work or gaming, you’re unlikely to be considering this phone anyway.

For those who prefer a pocket sized phone, the screen is sharp and works well in all lighting conditions except direct bright sunlight where high contrast text is legible, but subtle tones and details in photos are hard to see (I’ve yet to see a screen that works well in such conditions).

It also retains the home button and Touch ID which I appreciate and prefer to Face ID, especially when using banking apps and Apple Pay. The main camera is adequate for most situations and has Apple’s latest image processing so the quality of photos and video is high.

The front camera is of a lower resolution so selfies are not to the same standard. John Lewis sell at the same price as other retailers, but include a 2 year warranty which no one else does so represent excellent value for money.

By today’s standards this is old, but old doesn’t necessarily mean bad as the SE is lightweight, comfortable to use and easy to carry on your person. The Camera The camera lenses/sensors are the same as the previous SE from 2020.

There is a 12 megapixel lens on the back and a 7 megapixel lens on the front. However, although these are the same as the previous model the images this phone takes are fantastic, thanks (in part) to the SE’s new image processing.

iPhone SE 2022 Review I felt compelled to write this review after I had read so many other reviews before making this purchase. And I think this little powerhouse of a phone deserves it. I have just spent a year with the IPhone 13.

But moved to this phone. The iPhone SE 2022 is quite literally punching above its weight. With the same A15 Bionic CPU that is found in Apple’s flagship model (13 Pro), extended battery life, 5G network capabilities and the option of larger memory size.

This mobile really stands up for itself. One thing I’ve read so much about from trusted reviews and other comments is the criticism of the form factor / screen size. For me, the size of this was one of the MAIN reasons to get this phone.

I don’t want a huge, heavy phone in my pocket. The 4. 7″ is in my opinion just perfect, and with the iPhone SE you hardly notice it at all. Its easy to hold and use and very light. It also uses Touch ID which I actually prefer than FaceID as it’s quicker and more convenient.

It was a shame to hear that this could be the last time Apple support this smaller size and are moving the next SE to a larger screen, another reason why I wanted to get this version before they do. This phone for me is perfect in every way, and if you are able to, I would go for the larger 256GB memory size to really future proof this device.

At the time of buying the iPad Air, there was not enough of a difference for me to justify buying the iPad Pro 2020. However when the iPad Pro M1 came out, I began to second guess my purchase. However, at the time I was enjoying the iPad Air and wasn’t experiencing any reason to take back the iPad Air and make an exchange.

When I started using the iPad Air for work that is when my needs changed and my wants. Everything about the iPad Air is great, do not get me wrong. Just that I had the MacBook Air M1, and still do, and Apple silicone in it is great.

It made me start to think though, what would the experience be like when having the M1 in an iPad? I ended up taking the iPad Air back just in time and exchanged it for the iPad M1 11 inch. I had the 12.

9 iPad Pro 2018 for the longest time, but found myself wanting the smaller 11inch because the size was just right for my needs. The smaller size is just much more portable, I didn’t need the upgraded display nor the extra price tag.

After making my exchange, I saw what I had been missing from owning the iPad Air 2020. I do enjoy Face ID over using my fingerprint, especially when I am using the iPad as a desktop computer. I also enjoy gaming on my iPad more now especially the 120z display.

Also I use the iPad for work, and with the M1 chip I don’t have to worry about any work I throw at it. I love what Microsoft has done with its apps for the iPad. It’s a world of a difference from what it was like when Microsoft’s office apps were first offered in the App Store.

You can now have multiple spreadsheets open now in excel, and that goes for PowerPoint as well. I like their approach used in the navigation bar compared to its desktop cousin version. I feel the menu system in the iPad version is organized better and I can actually find the right tools for what I need to do.

Because my work now uses teams, its a breeze to share documents and files over the 24MB. I don’t mind the black bars on my display when using an external monitor, after a while I don’t even notice them.

My recommendation, if you are only using the iPad for personal use and you want to use the updated Magic accessories and slightly bigger screen I would buy the Air. However, if you want a more capable, slightly even bigger screen, faster and you plan on using the Microsoft Office suite a lot, then I would buy the Pro; and of course if you plan on being a content creator or influencer on YouTube ;).

This is the first Apple product I have purchased. I expected top notch quality based on the feedback from people I know with Apple products, and Apple’s reputation they have created precedes them. I only switched to an iPad from an Android one for Adobe Fresco and Illustrator and Procreate since none of them are available on the Android platform.

The Apple Pencil was a consideration vs. competitors as well, but not a deal breaker as I’m fine with other pens. The first iPad I got had a speck of dust between the glass and screen. It was barely noticeable when the screen was on, but I finally decided to return it because I didn’t know if it would create a problem, especially with pressure sensitivity–which that in itself is important for drawing.

Best Buy of course swapped it out no problem when I showed them. The associate I got said he had never seen that before. (However, discussion boards are littered with stories of the same, I have now found.

) We opened the second iPad right then and there and both looked over the screen. Seemingly now problems. When I got home, I looked at it under brighter lighting and discovered a small scuff. Oh well, I thought.

I then tried out the Apple Pencil, and it would not drag smoothly across the screen except in a few small spots. It was almost like hitting fine sandpaper. It wasn’t the tip because it’s new for one, and two, the smooth and rough spots were in the exact same spots every time.

I ultimately decided to keep the one I had and not try again. Partially due to the hassle of it all, and partially because I will always have a glass screen protector on it anyway. (The cheap big box store one I got glides smoothly.

go figure. ) If Adobe ever brings Illustrator back to Android and brings Fresco over, I will be switching back to my go-to brand. Four cheap one expensive tablet, and 5 phones later, I only ever had an issue with one phone.

I’m 2 for 2 with Apple. Search “iPad dust under screen” and “iPad pencil not smooth” or “iPad rough glass” and see what you find before buying, lest you think this is a hoax review. It’s not just post-2020 situation stuff either.

We’ve had iPhones for years and been happy with them. And have briefly used the kids’ iPads who swear by them. An incentive to buy one ourselves was brought about by our frequent skyping with family back east previously done on the phone.

What a world of difference. We decided on the Air model with 64GB over the regular iPad 10. 2-inch because it’s noticeably thinner, the screen is bigger and some of the internals, etc are a big cut above.

The iPad Air has been called the Pro-Light and it essentially is from our comparisons in the store. 64GB is more than enough storage space unless you’re dropping tons of pictures, videos, movies, apps and whatnot on the thing.

We’re not. This device is a delight; easy to use, already loaded with stuff/apps right out of the box, fast, great graphics, decent camera, terrific HD screen and sound, responsive, connects seamlessly to wifi, and syncs nicely with the iPhone if you have one and want to do that.

You can use wireless earbuds of course, and your wired will work also but a small $10 jack adapter is needed for the lightning size wire. So far we have zero complaints. We didn’t buy a keyboard or pencil, only a nice high-end cover-case.

But finger action on-screen as with your phone is direct, clean, effortless as it is with a phone. Highly recommended device.

Experienced User of Apple products. I bought this iPad mini thinking it was a good deal and that I could give it to my mother to keep her off of my iPad Pro playing her games. Well I was badly mistaken.

This unit has been nothing but problems. Most times it won’t connect to the internet:( Then it cuts out during just about anything:( I made sure to update it and connect both ways to get web usage and I have issues with both ways constantly:( Its been a nightmare.

I only kept it cause we had thrown the return stuff out thinking things would be fine. Huge mistake!! Then the screen upon arrival was also cracked so I had to instantly buy a screen protector and case to put over it!! Just truly sucks but if the return stuff hadn’t been thrown out it would’ve been sent back immediately!!.

After years of struggling with Android and Amazon Fire tablets, my wife and I finally decided to try an Apple product. Are we ever glad we did. Although this product is a couple of generations old, it arrived looking like new.

After charging it up, the setup process was straightforward and easy to do. The best thing about it is it just works. No more fighting with keeping the device connected to the wi-fi. Well worth the money we spent on it.

The Coral color is such a cheerful true bright (almost neon) Coral, it makes me happy. For the colors alone, I am sad that Apple has discontinued the XR. I love how the light/brighter colors don’t smudge like the black phones.

I do worry about being able to find parts for it, cases, etc. but I should not worry so much because neither of my XRs had lasted a year without major problems. Crashes often. Problems with the sound and mic leave me unable to use dictation and hear anyone at all on the Coral phone without Speaker on, which makes it awful for public use.

The camera is cloudy. I’m hoping I can get that fixed. I know that using your phone can make things clog, stick, etc. but I never had those issues with my regular series iPhones, all the way back to iPhone 4.

These just seem junkier. My black XR has also had sound issues. I like being able to use a waterproof phone purse because there’s no home key but these Facial recognition phones keep recognizing me and turning the volume, way, way down when I’m on the phone.

A long series of steps shuts off this automatic volume adjustment, but I’ve had to do it several times. It just starts doing it again, out of the blue. The StraightTalk service is the worst. When I got my 2nd phone, they transferred service and shut my main phone off, despite begging and explaining 20 times.

Then, when I went to reactivate my new phone, I begged them to give me 2 separate phones with different numbers and Apple IDs but they linked them. I got the new phone for more storage so it was pointless.

They said I HAD to have the phones’ Apple IDs linked which I know is not true from when I set up a new phone. Now my phones ring at the same time and I can’t call my phone to locate. Everything that goes onto one is on the other.

Straight Talk won’t separate them unless I start over with a new SIM and I don’t think they provide that anymore and hear the BYOP cards are a nightmare, plus I don’t know if they work on Straight Talk phones.

I understand that this is a review of the phone but since it is only useable with Straight Talk, I have to review that. as well. They had improved greatly before Covid-19. I will never again reactivate a Straight Talk phone if I need storage (though I did not choose to deactivate and begged them not to).

I will only buy new phones and set them up myself. I spent over 11 hours on the phone to them trying to sort out the mistake, to no avail. Good service isn’t cheap and cheap service isn’t good, but I’m broke so what can I do? All that aside, I will sorely miss my colorful phones.

This mint iPhone XR is a great phone at a great price. Keeping up with technology can be daunting these days. I choose to stay with state of the market models rather than state of the art. Personally, I buy my used Apple iPhones and iPads a couple generations back.

Swappa gear meets my needs. These folks are a terrific source for used technology at a fraction of the price of brand new models. As an engineer in the computer industry, I am well aware that most of the gee-wiz features and functions of the latest technology are rarely worth the often insane prices charged.

In my experience, the bells and whistles rarely justify the price. I just replaced my iPhone 8 Plus (great phone) with an iPhone XR (frankly, a very minor upgrade — nearly the same phone minus the home button).

Savvy buyers often buy mint used gear and turn it over every couple years or so. Candidly, this way, the out of pocket cost for staying relatively current on personal tech become more like a small rental fee.

Swappa is the best place I’ve found to get mint condition used products at attractive prices. After several satisfied purchases, I am completely confident the item I see listed on Swappa is the product I will receive.

So here’s my opinion – I can’t stand the whole “Apple” vs “Android” battle with people. To each his own. What works for you is best for you. That being said, this is my personal opinion: I have had IPhones for years.

I do not get the newest one every time they come out. I treat my phones well with a protective case and screen. But I also live a busy active life and drop my phones and they get bumped around a bit.

iPhones have always been great for me and durable. When upgrading to a new phone the transition is always easy and I never lose pictures / data / accounts because the transfer of info is always easy.

I love how easy it is to share things with other iPhone users. The cameras are great and getting better. I have no complaints and would highly recommend. I will say if you want a phone and you are very concerned about the camera feature, the Google Pixels cameras are superior BUT from what I have seen in the new iPhones, their cameras are catching up.

And from recently transferring /upgrading my husbands Google phone, the process is not as easy and he’s having random issues with not receiving basic phone notifications and things. So overall, it’s all about your needs, and life style but in my opinion, you can’t go wrong with an iPhone and I have been happy with mine.

It’s a very cute case- super sparkly and cute design, but it doesn’t fit my iPhone 13 Pro very well. The camera and silence button cutouts are too big. Also, because the camera cutout is too big, the MagSafe charger doesn’t sit flat to the case when it’s properly lined up.

It’s concerning because I’m not sure what this strange partial charging is doing to my phone or the charger, both of which get pretty hot.

I don’t understand the negative reviews because that hasn’t been my experience with this product at all but I ordered mine from a different site (Sanrio). I’ve had my case for about 3 months now and it’s holding up fine, no discoloration, fits my phone (iPhone 13 pro) well.

And has kept my phone safe through many a drops which is all I really can ask for in a phone case. I get lots of compliments mostly from children but hey I’ll take it.

LOVE this case! I’m super clumsy and constantly drop my phone and this case has saved it from certain death! The design is so cute and the materials are really good quality. I love how it covers all the buttons and bottom of my phone too.

Also works with all my Sonix MagSafe accessorites too!!! Would highly recommend!.

i’m an avid Apple user and have been since the release of the iPhone 5. i used to have the iPhone 5 and iPhone 7, then made a major upgrade to the iPhone 12 in July 2021. ever since i’ve gotten it, i’ve had little to no issues with it.

at first, the new layout without the home button and new notch was confusing, but i got the hang of it in less than a week. not being able to see my battery percentage without going into the control centre is a little annoying, but it doesn’t pose as a challenge.

other than that, i occasionally get frustrated with the home bar when i’m trying to get out of my games. moving onto functionality, the phone runs a lot more smoothly and quickly and has better quality than previous models.

audio, visual, and camera quality are all excellent—i personally am very pleased with the new quality of the phone speakers while playing music or watching YouTube. even with constant use of my phone for an entire day, i maybe have to charge my phone once before it hits 20%.

my battery health to this day (17 January 2022) is 91%, but it’s only because i frequently kept it on for an upwards of 72 hours before turning it off and charged it overnight while i slept and YouTube played in the background.

i’m a bit bias, but i love the Apple operating system and it’s design and functionality. i’ve never had problems with apps closing themselves (minus bugs with the app itself) or randomly ended calls.

sometimes, my Face ID won’t read my face, but that’s it. lastly, the design. i got the blue iPhone 12 and the phone is very sleek and stylish. the colour is vibrant, the glass back feels a lot better than aluminium, and the flat edges give a better look and grip on the phone than rounded edges.

even though the phone is slightly bigger than the iPhone 7, it’s still easy to hold and is lightweight. i’m very clumsy and drop my phone a lot, and my screen or the back glass doesn’t have a single scratch or crack (disclaimer: i do have a phone case, but not a screen protector).

the only downside, in my opinion, is the price. it’s a lot more pricier than earlier models, but with the release of new iPhones, the price of the iPhone 12 is going down to a relatively decent price.

if you have the money and want an upgrade, i definitely recommend the iPhone 12. :).

I still remember the days when people were making fun of Samsung and the likes for launching multiple phones in one go. So much to choose from and Apple was just limited to a couple devices and those few were class apart and had unique USP’s.

Well, times have changed and I guess Apple has gone bonkers. They are crazily launching phone after phone with few tangible differences. I guess it’s not the way it was when Steve Jobs was leading. Anyways, this review is about iPhone 12 and boy oh boy it’s classy.

I opted for Purple and it’s simply mind blowing. Mind you – No significant difference here between the 12 phones launched in the last few years alone (iPhone 11, 12, 13 and their sub versions). iOS 14 and 15 gave some massive updates but not the iPhones per se.

Apple still has some unique creative juice left and knows how to deliver classy products albeit make crazy profits on each device. Back to iPhone 12 – It’s sleek & sexy with a minimalist design. The touch and feel of this iPhone is heavenly.

The performance is another feather in the cap. Smooth as butter and the output is simply remarkable. I have used multiple Android phones for a decade and I can confidently say that the iPhone 12 peaks amongst them.

iPhone 12 also happens to be 4 times stronger than its predecessor in terms of screen strength/resistance. It’s also water resistant upto 6 mts for about 30 minutes. The Audio/Sound quality is superb when used with Apple’a own products/AirPods.

The video quality is simply stunning. It’s so vivid and lively and a treat to music and movie lovers. Battery though is a bummer. I guess iPhone 12 has some serious battery performance issues. A look at their community page says a lot about many users feeling the same about battery output.

iPhone 12 is and will continue to be a solid iPhone at least till iPhone 14 is lunched (only if some tangible and unique features come with it)Apple sure has a funny way of showcasing their love towards nature.

Someone from their strategy team got a light bulb moment aka enlightenment and suggested they stop including Adapters and the rest is history. Hope that strategy person has been handsomely rewarded with a slew of perks/promotions for his love towards nature by the Apple CSuite.

For now, it’s the best iPhone money can buy at least for me and I pretty much like the minute asthetics Apple focuses on. Hope this momentum continues.

My Lordy. I swear Apple is getting less and less careless about there products and more money hungry. I originally had the XR but sadly lost it and was in need of an immediate phone after almost a week without one.

I have to say that the XR is by far better than the 12 in my opinion. I have had nothing but troubles with this phone and the need for constant restarts (that’s if I can’t get it to restart) If an app isn’t working, then it’s my messages.

If that’s not working then my screen gets frozen. If it’s not that I can’t search through my apps by the pull down menu we’re it says Siri suggestions. Everything is incredibly delayed or frozen. I also was disappointed after paying over $1,000 for this phone, Apple decided to stop putting in the headphones that have the built in adapter.

After paying that much money for a PHONE- I think it’s the least they could do. If I wasn’t using iPhone for years, I would switch to by god anything else. My boyfriends Walmart phone works better than this over priced thing.

My step mother who has an iPhone 13 as well, I’d like to note, is just as bad. We both continuously don’t have signal when it says full bars. We have never had this problem before with any other iPhone and have been using Verizon for years.

I would not recommend this device to anyone unless you like fighting for it to work everyday. One positive is the camera. Thaaaats about it. Lastly, I had an incredibly hard time connecting my iCloud to this phone when my photos wouldn’t transfer- yet I could see them on my Macbook… Apple support was no help by any means with this until one day the photos were randomly back on my phone.

Nothing but troubles.

The Twinkly Generation II dots came nicely packaged. If you were planning to purchase a set for family or friends, the packaging is inviting. The first thing I noticed that was not appealing to me was the design.

You have a large plug with a decent amount of electrical cord that attaches to a controller, on the opposite end of the controller, you have two strands of flat and narrow wiring with the dots ( led lights).

Each strand has approximately 3 ft. of lead wiring from the controller to the first led dot. Each strand has 100 led dots 2 inches apart from each other giving you approximately 16. 4 ft. of lighting on each of the two strands.

This limits the use of the lighting because you must have your power source in the center of the two strands of lighting. An example of why I had to be selective in placing the lighting; if you were wrapping the lighting around a couple of posts you would need your posts close to one and other and the dot power source would have to be placed between the two posts, at either the top or the bottom, and you would have to have an electrical outlet, or extension cord, near that area.

Remember; it would take multiple sets to light a 6- or 7-foot Christmas tree and you would have to synchronize the sets with one and other to achieve some of the affects you may want or like you see in the online at twinkly.

They stated that you can connect multiple Twinkly light strings in synchronized groups, up to 4000 LED lights, up to 10 strings, and with a strong Wi-Fi connection. You cannot cut or modify the physical structure of the light sets which means you would need an electrical outlet for each set of lights and remember that each set consists of two separate strands extending from the end of the controller.

I didn’t care for the instructions that accompany the Twinkly Generation II dot lights. Starting with the “physical setup” you get one or two sentences, in 19 languages, on two pages for each process.

Not much to the accompanying instruction booklet. You will probably need to go to the twinkly online site to look at all the different ways the dots can be utilized. I used the lighting above the kitchen and pantry room cabinets.

This worked OK for me, I had 15 ft of top cabinet one way and 13 ft of top cabinet the other from my electrical outlet. I had to run the lighting in a curving pattern in order to make this work because you cannot cut or alter the strands.

The twinkly lights are not as bright as my led strip lights. I was going to use the twinkly lights for my 20 ft. by 20 ft. patio cover, around the outer edges, this would require using the 80 ft. set and running the strands in opposite directions, from the controller/plug-in to come together at the ends of the strands.

Once you have the twinkly app downloaded you have more options than you can imagine with setting the lighting, hard to explain all the lighting possibilities. You can change the dots, colors, intensity, patterns, etc.

There are a lot of pre-set patterns to choose from or you can create your own once lighting effects. You can “map” the lighting arrangements, with the app, on your mobile device, once you have them in place.

I didn’t find this an easy task to complete when attempting to map the strands on top of the cabinets, it took quite a few attempts to map my layout. Once you achieve a mapping you can manipulate the lights to function in multiple ways.

Having the ability to manipulate every dot individually is an amazing feat. There are some contradictions in the writing regarding these lights. I have seen for indoor use only, for indoor/outdoor use.

Not sure why there are concerns regarding live Christmas tree use. I have had these lights/dots on for hours with absolutely no heat whatsoever. The plug and the controller have a little warmth too them as does most items of this type.

Setting up twinkly with an Alex device was quick and simple. You can manipulate some of the actions, such as on and off, and the color of the twinkly lights with the use of Alex. Controlling the twinkly lights with Alex appears to be very limited.

I would recommend the twinkly Generation II dots just for the twinkly app and the ability to control the lighting in so many unique ways. You must remember that the lighting is powered and controlled from the center of the total strand length stated, this will limit where and how you can utilize them.

This has been very frustrating. These are supposed to be rated at 10W and they ship with a charger that is marked with QC3 (which is capable of supplying up to 18W depending on the voltage). So from the specs it should be very capable of supplying the full 10W.

However in my experience when I put my phone on it (which is older and only capable of 5W charging) it only charges at 3. 5W. Here is where it gets very strange. If I put a different QC3 charger on it (one that that I owned that isn’t supplied with the package) I get the full 5W charging speed.

Also when I use the plug adaptor that came with this package with a different charger it does supply enough power and charges at 5W. So it seems that there is some kind of incompatibility between the QC3 adaptor and the Qi pad that are supplied together here.

I got 3 sets and had planned to keep one set and give the other 2 to my parents, but since I’m having problems like this I’m hesitant to give them something that isn’t working well.

The first day I didn’t notice the wireless chargers acting strangely. But after putting my LG v60 thinQ on it the second night, the phone would notify me that wireless charging has stopped after about 30 minutes of charging, and the charging pad would display the red blinking until it cooled off and I would disconnect and reconnect the included ac adapter.

The phone itself was lukewarm, not alarmingly hot or even moderately warm, just barely warm. But the wireless charging pad! Oh that thing was sizzling hot to the touch. In conclusion, the charger works, but will overheat while fast charging at 10 watts, and stop charging for a period of time while it cools off.

I wouldn’t recommend this for fast wireless charging at 10 watts. It might not overheat and work fine for 5 watt devices.

The charging pads are actually great, but just not for my phones & other items. I have the Note 10+ & S20 and the charging takes an extremely long time to charge. I didn’t take off the 1 star because of this bc it is my fault for not getting a higher one that would charge my appropriate phones more quickly.

The 1 star i took away was bc of the design of this charging pad. it does take me several times of placing my phone on here just the right way before it will make full contact & begin the wireless charging.

If you have other items that you want to charge wirelessly, you have to make sure it fits within the smaller circle of this design due to the tiny edge that if your item doesn’t sit right right in there & overlaps at all, it won’t charge correctly or at all.

That is just my experience with this charging pad. All in all, it’s not bad at all, it’s actually a good one. for the right person & the right devices. Just make sure before you purchase & if it meets your specs & what you want to use it for, you’ll be very happy with your purchase.

As someone who has never used a smart phone until now, I would say this is a fairly good one. It depends on what your needs are. I just wanted a phone that is easy enough to learn to use. (My old flip phone was actually fine.

I just had to change it because the cell phone carriers were phasing out the 3G phones so my flip phone would no longer work by March 2022. I didn’t get another flip phone because the ones that were available didn’t have much to offer and were worse than my flip phone.

So basically I was “forced” into getting a smart phone. ) The iPhone SE seemed the easiest to use because of the home button. It was also smaller and more lightweight than the regular smart phones. I won’t give it 5 stars because comparing to my old flip phones the battery doesn’t last anywhere near as long.

It also doesn’t come with the charging adapter, just the cable, so you have to buy the charger separately. It is very cheap of Apple to make their phones like this. It doesn’t come with instructions either (another cheap move) so you will spend time googling stuff online if you have any questions about it.

I am not tech savvy at all so I did a lot of that the first 2 weeks. If you just want to talk, text, and take an occasional photo, this phone is okay for that. I found the video to be poor quality when uploading it to a computer but maybe I just can’t figure out the right setting for it.

That’s why I wish it came with detailed instructions. The iPhone SE is pretty good for a first smart phone and more affordable than the regular iPhone so I’ll give it that. But it is not for everyone.

My parents for example could never figure this out and would have to settle for what ever flip phone is available these days. I would actually give it 3. 5 stars if that was an option.

I got the SE 2020 after my iPhone 7 I owned for three years started acting strange and gave up on me. It took five months to get a new phone and when I got the iPhone SE 2020, I’m absolutely happy with it.

This thing is incredibly inexpensive and had a home button like my old 7 which is nice. I don’t mind the SE 2 not having 5G since that’s less of a concern to me. My 7 doesn’t have 5G either but I certainly don’t mind it since it has LTE which still gets the job done.

Battery life seems pretty decent to me too. The camera got a nice quality but then again, I’m really not much of a photographer and I rarely take photos with it. Not sure about gaming which I don’t play often unless I’m bored or if I have free time although I’m thinking getting a decent tablet for gaming.

And the best thing is that my SE 2020 is on MetroPCS which has decent and excellent service in my hometown whereas my iPhone 7, which is on AT&T, has very terrible signal; I could barely get any bars on it when I’m using my 7.

But when I’m out of the house and went to the park yesterday, my SE 2 got a pretty great service (it has like three or four bars) so that’s nice. The only issue is that I wish my SE 2 had 128GB of internal storage for reasons but other than that, the SE 2020 is a great phone.

It serves me well. I hope there’ll be more iPhones with home button in the future. Not everyone needs a $1k gigantic phone. (June 9, 2022).

Knocked 2 stars off (iPhone = 5 stars) because of the 3rd party conditions. The description is wrong for ‘includes:’ you do not get USB Power Adapter. You must buy USB-C Power Adapter separately ($20).

You do not get a lightning to USB cable. You get a Lightning to USB-C cable. Devices that you’re going to connect to or charge with must have a USB-C connection. If no USB-C connection, you must have or buy a USB-C to USB adapter ($20), or have a USB cable (slower charge) to then connect to your older USB-connection device.

Be warned, there’s a short time frame to activate for people w day jobs in order to qualify for the $140 promotion. Difficult to coordinate one’s schedule with their short availability of in-store personnel (3rd party/not Target) to activate the iPhone outside of Black Friday.

Call to see if person is scheduled/available in-store before you go outside of Black Friday. The iPhone itself is excellent. Because of the short time, difficult-to-find, qualified, few in-store personnel scheduled, I wouldn’t recommend unless you have the time in your schedule to meet their schedule.

I was looking forward to this item and having all my devices charge at one location. Used it for a week and realized it was overheating my phone! iPhone 12 Pro and the back of the case AND phone were extremely hot after charging for a few hours.

I had it connected to a surge where other devices were, so thinking that was the issue, I moved them to its own outlet. Issue remained however, so I returned it.

Horrible item, dies not work as it should. Too overly priced. Was so excited when I purchased This charger, only to discover, it is not a wireless charging pad, the weight is a bit much. Heavier than I thought it would be.

Definitely glad to have returned this item, as quickly as I could. Will not recommend this yo anyone.

I had reservations about switching to iPhone as I’ve been an Android user for the past 10 years or more. The reservations I had were about the battery life, iOS, being locked to the apple store and the lcd screen on this phone.

The specs on paper are nothing to write home about and if it was an Android I would have probably bypassed this phone. So glad I didn’t. 1. The battery life is amazing, I’m a moderate user, calls, banking, messages, watching YouTube and using sat nav.

By the end of a day I still have around 40-50% battery left which I never got on my Android. My Android phone had a 4500mah battery and this one I think is 3400, I’m not sure what wizardry they have under the hood but it’s incredibly efficient without compromising on performance.

The Apple store has all the apps I was using with Android and all apps work smoothly and seamlessly. My Android phone was a super amoled compared to this lcd the Android screen is better but marginally.

The Liquid Retina display on this thing is amazing, and yes the blacks are not as deep as an amoled but the difference is very little, I was so pleasantly surprised. Face unlock is super responsive. The iOS does take some getting used to but I adjusted very quickly to it.

Only negative points were remembering all the passwords to the apps, downloading my CDs onto the iPhone which I watched a YouTube video and managed and having to buy a usb adaptor so I could charge the phone.

Apart from these minor gripes I’m so glad I switched this really is a well built and quality phone. Yes you can get a very decent mid range Android with better specs but this will blow it out of the water.

It took me ages to take the plunge but do not regret it one bit. Furthermore, got this with a further 10% cash back from Very. Win win.

I really do like this phone, and the Straight Talk Customer Service was very helpful, which is why I gave this 3 stars. However, it was a pain to get it going. First, I did not realize Apple doesn’t send a way to charge this phone.

They send a charger, but nothing to plug it into, like a wall adapter. When I got the phone, I was broke and having to quarantine, so it was another week before I could go to the store to purchase something to help charge the phone, which meant I could barely use it for the first week.

Also, I almost threw away the activation and SIM card because they blended in so much with packaging. I was looking for a big red card and instead it was in a small gray envelope attached to the plastic wrap.

I only found it a week later after I got a charger, because thankfully I saved all the packaging. Then the phone still would not activate, and I had to spend all weekend getting this fixed. Thankfully, I was able to chat with Straight Talk customer service, and they were really helpful.

It turned out after spending all day today trying to get this fixed that it needed to run an update for about 30 minutes before working right. I can say now I like a lot about this phone, like the camera, having more space, and the sound quality.

I had to buy wireless earbuds, but I am able to use some $25 Skull Candy bluetooth ones instead of buying higher dollar Apple ones. I’m also glad to see Spotify is compatible, because that is the main app I use.

I think I will love my phone now that I can finally use it, but it has taken about two weeks of worry trying to get to this point.

This phone is fast, it’s simple, and it’s easy, much like previous iPhones. I admit the lack of home button scared me at first, as I had previously only owned an iPhone 8 and iPhone 6, however the transition is smooth and rather satisfying to swipe away the apps rather than click… a feature I had not noticed before in previous makes.

I admit when making this purchase I bought it for the camera, I had hopes of this amazing camera I could use for photography or simply to just take photos of day to day life and capture the exact beauty… whilst this camera does come with noticeable improvements from previous iPhones, it isn’t amazing.

I would have wanted something more from a camera that had been the main focus of the phone. Despite this, the camera is still good! The features to expand photos to get more of the scenery in is amazing, the way it makes dark photos lighter, or even the detail you can capture in video, especially with higher settings.

Something I had noticed that I wish this phone had, is fingerprint recognition. Whilst yes, the face recognition is cool, there are times where, it simply doesn’t recognise my face, or I’m wearing a mask so I can’t use it, or I’m laying down in the dark cuddled up in my blanket, face smooshed to unrecognisable proportions… and those times I have to type in my passcode just to see my notifications in further detail because the phone cannot see me.

I have noticed that android phones still have the finger print recognition, despite the lack of a home button, and as well as face recognition. This is something Apple must think about in its upcoming products.

I miss the simplicity of fingerprint recognition and it’s the one thing this phone is lacking. As for battery life. It isn’t amazing, but it isn’t as bad as previous generations. There is still a lot of work to do when it comes to battery life, especially when comparing my iPhone to my boyfriends android, his can last days where as mine is lucky to last the same day, with both of us using our phones just as much as each other.

As for the waterproof features… yes this phone is waterproof, though even getting water inside the charging port will prevent you from charging. This feature helps to protect your phone from damage caused from water meeting electricity in the charger needed to charge your phone… you are also given the option to force a charge if it is an emergency and are warned of the risks.

The best option for this is to having a charging pad, rather than a charging cable… though it isn’t exactly something I would have wished for a “waterproof” product to have. I think the next step is to find a more water friendly way of charging without there needing to be a risk warning at all, yet still being as handy as the lead charger, in which you can still pick up your phone.

Apple is by far the best tablet I have ever owned. This particular tablet is 10. 2″ which is a really good size. The tablet is really thin and has a super sleek look. Setting up was really easy. Basically just power it up and then follow the instructions.

If you already have an Apple ID you will need your log in information. If you do not already have an Apple ID you can easily set one up on your new iPad. The iPad was charged to around 52% when I first turned it on so I had plenty of juice to get it set up and play around with it for a good while.

The battery seems to last a long time. I only have to charge it a couple times a week and I use it quite a bit. Everyone is different in what they want. You will need to go in and customize your settings which can take a while.

I have had my iPad a couple of weeks and I still am finding things I need to customize. It is set up to automatically use “the cloud” which you may like. I do not. I do not store my stuff in “the cloud”.

I back up to my personal computer or external devices. Things like Siri are also auto turned on. I also turned this off. And everything that tracks me. Another thing that seemed new to me was the iPad automatically synced with other devices that are signed in to the same Apple ID and this is not something I personally wanted so that is something you have to turn off manually.

I have found that anything I did not know how to do or change in settings I could just google my question and easily find step by step instructions on how to fix it. This iPad generation is a little different in waking it up.

You press the home button (the little circle at the bottom or side depending on how you are holding it) and then swipe up from the bottom and your pass code pad comes up. I think you also have the option to use a finger print or face recognition to log in with.

Also unlike the earlier generations the pass code is 7 digits instead of 4. The iPad is 128 gig so you have plenty of space for all the apps you want and even to download books and movies for offline viewing.

The iPad seems really fast in anything I want to do. You can video and take still shot pictures and you have a front are rear facing camera. I am really happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for a tablet.

The price is very reasonable. I would definitly purchase this again or purchase as a gift for anyone who wanted a tablet. You also will need to download the latest version of IOS which it should prompt you to do when setting up.

This is a high price for a Generation 8 iPad with only 32 Gb of storage. That’s not enough to do anything and will fill up and slow down in no time. The accessories are unnecessary and not good quality.

Plus you can get an inexpensive durable case on Amazon. I just bought a WiFi 9th Generation iPad with 256 Gb for $449. 99 ($30 less than now listed as I pre-ordered; took a week to come in). It replaced an iPad Air I’d had for 5 years.

The 9th Generation has so many improvements over the 8th including, but not limited to, a much faster processor and much better front facing camera. Granted, it’s not an Air or a Pro, but for the features and price, it’s a great deal.

You’d be wise to do some research, check out the reviews online and purchase a 9th generation. The entry level model is only $329 and starts at 64 Gb. Oh, and, I LOVE my iPad. And it’s EASY to use.

I purchased this iPad (my first ever) in August 2021 and have enjoyed it very much. Just recently I got around to joining the free-with-purchase 3 year membership to The Mac U. What a revelation! I’m learning things I never thought about and expanding my use of this expensive but worth it tablet! I wonder why the hosts and the vendor representative (usually Brett Hamilton) don’t talk more about this wonderful learning experience which is especially helpful to newbies like me.

Also, I have never heard any discussion of attaching the iPad to an external monitor. If anyone sees this, please bring it up during a presentation. I do know it requires an adaptor, but wouldn’t mind a separate purchase whether with QVC or elsewhere as I do see them available through electronics vendors.

As an experienced iPad user I looked around for a replacement for my ageing mini iPad 2. I settled on the new 10. 2″ 64GB iPad2021. Ebay (and especially the marketplace section on Facebook!) were awash with adverts for every type of iPad.

It was confusing to see adverts for this iPad advertising it second hand for far more than John Lewis were asking for it new – whilst also saying they got it from John Lewis! Bonkers or what? Ordering it was easy, but waiting was not.

Instant gratification had to be delayed whilst I was electronically assured it was in stock & the order accepted/ dispatched / tracked/ imminently to arrive. It is a while since I opened a brand new Apple device and I had forgotten how much attention is paid to the initial look and feel of the product.

Everything tells you this is a special product to be treated with due reverence. Well, blow that for a game of cards! I was instantly on it starting it up and seeing what such a bigger screen looked like (fantastic!) and how responsive it was (light years faster than my old iPad mini!).

But although it was the same basic system, iOs15 is also very different from my older machine – a veritable racehorse next to a nodding donkey. So don’t be surprised to hear that the former nodding donkey owner is constantly being ambushed by a system that seems a lot smarter than he is.

Things ‘happen’ on screen and you wonder why, and how to reverse them too? Don’t get me wrong – I wouldn’t go back for a moment, but this horse trainer has some serious learning to do before I get the best out of my new machine.

Of course, I had to get a keyboard for it and chose the Logitech Rugged Folio case. Logitech claims the materials ‘exceed military-standard drop tests. ‘ Somehow I can’t bring myself to put this claim to the test, I’m just content with the greater protection and flexibility of use it offers.

In short – it was a great buy at a great price but also it also requires people like me (72 years young) to have a bit of an ‘owners upgrade’ – I wonder if John Lewis offers one of those too?.

I upgraded from a 6S to the 12 and find the new iPhone a massive achievement for the iPhone team. Looks and feel of the 12 is real tight. Very impressed. When I received the new iPhone, and turned it on, it immediately asked to move all my settings and videos and pictures from my iPhone 6S over to my iPhone 12.

Linking up was effortless. I am thinking that this is brilliant. Saved me so much time re-downloading and going thru all my settings and set them accordingly. And like my 6S the 12 taking and receiving calls and messages perfectly.

Though that might also be a testament for my carrier. The 6. 1 inch screen is just right for me, easy on the eyes, and crystal clear. So I guess it’s safe to say I am very happy with my new iPhone. I waited a good long while, from the 6S to now.

Am glad I finally made the upgrade. Thanks Apple.

I didn’t get this exact phone, I got an Apple iPhone 11 Pro 512GB Smartphone – Silver – Unlocked – Certified Refurbished but from the same company (BuySPRY) through bestbuy. ca The phone’s physical appearance was great and it worked fine but the speakers were very low at full volume and basically didn’t work, so I returned it.

Communicating with this company was pretty good, (cannot communicate with them if you want to ask questions before buying, only can contact them after you’ve purchased through BestBuy marketplace) They responded always within 24 hours, and they were good at getting me the pre-paid shipping label and return.

very professional. however, didn’t always answer my questions on why speakers were not tested in the refurbished processes and why they still had ties to the phone after it had been purchased by a customer (they could see I was still signed in to my iCloud ??) But since the phone wasn’t good I would not try them again ;(.

Exactly as advertised. The screen had some minor scuffs that are invisible when its lit up, but the battery life was great. I use the phone all day and it never goes below 60% Ive had no issues with it, and it arrived on time.

Good purchase if you need a used phone.

I bought the iPad mini 3 on release for my mom, since she was wanting a tablet, and she has been using it every single day since then! For an aging lady whose eyesight is slowly deteriorating, she loves that the iPad mini is easier for her to read than on her phone.

She just loves watching videos on there, and ESPECIALLY loves saving recipes! My mom is quite an avid cook, and for her to be able to easily look up and zoom in on recipes as she’s busy in the kitchen with messy hands is the greatest convenience.

So, for my fellow Apple fans with busy moms, I highly recommend the iPad mini!.

I’m not a technical person, I can do what I need to do and that’s it but I’m happy with that, I’ve never had or wanted a laptop I was more than happy with my iPhone until the first time I used an iPad and then I was in love, for me it was perfect, well nearly the only problem was the size, while I loved having the large screen it made it less portable and since its where I keep all my photos I end up taking it nearly everywhere with me.

While this is my third iPad it’s my first new one, my first one was my husbands old one when he upgraded and my second was my sons from a scheme at school which he didn’t use, preferring his phone! and yes I’ve loved both but I felt a mini would suit me better and it does.

I love it, the size is great, yes I can’t argue there are times I miss the larger screen but not only does this fit into my bag it’s so much lighter and easier to type on, the keyboard is just perfect and while I didn’t realise it at the time the previous one had been a little too big.

I can’t not mention the screen the image is very sharp the pixel ratio must be good. Kindle: Like all iPads it’s fully compatible and that’s one of the reasons when I was originally looking for an eReader I went with the kindle I liked the idea of being able to read a book on all my devices and have it sync and I use this more than I ever imagined I would, the kindle is always my first choice I find it’s a lot better than the backlit screens but I like that I can pick up my iPad or iPhone and just continue reading exactly where I left off.

While I’m on the subject of my kindle I use my iPad to keep it manageable, my previous kindle was slow and sluggish which was probably a result of holding over 3500 books so now I try to keep my kindle under 500 books and use my iPad for the rest.

I use my iPad to browse and check Amazon, ordering and downloading books, it’s all so easy, any book I want I send wherever I want it, my kindle, phone, iPad, cloud, my oldest kindle which I’ve given to my dad or my other kindle my daughter is using.

As I’ve already said this is not a technical review and I’m sure you can do this on other tablets, I don’t know but I love that you can do this. iMessage: I use my iPad way more than my phone it’s so much easier to type on so I iMessage from this, I have 3 friends that can’t receive messages this way so if it’s short I type it into my phone if it’s a long message I type it into my iPad, message myself and forward it on, there’s probably a much easier way of doing this but like I said I’m not technical and it works for me.

FaceTime and Skype: I use FaceTime particularly when we’re on holiday, since our children are older we often leave them at home and FaceTime means we can talk face to face as often as we like with no cost which is great.

I have to mention the fingerprint id, I just love not having to type a code in every time. The main thing I like about the iPad is it’s easy to use, that’s the most important thing for me any idiot can use it and yes, I’m including myself in this, I can even print from my iPad which I love and trust me it must be easy if I can do it.

It’s compatibility is second and then reliability, I’ve never had any issue with any of my iPads, they just work and work well the first iPad, bought back in April 2010 is still going strong, my daughter uses it now.

While this wasn’t cheap I’m a great believer that you get what you pay for and I consider this money well spent I did upgrade the capacity as well going for 64GB since my previous one only had 16GB which ran out quickly, if you’re thinking of buying one I’d seriously consider the size I know the price really jumps up but since you can’t add more later it’s important to consider it before you buy.

When I first heard that Apple was coming out with an iPad Mini, I thought “pfft, who would ever buy that?!” Well, I guess we have an answer because I have one. and I love it. I love the fact that the size is the same size as a book.

I primarily use it read books, so the size is perfect. Additionally, it is a lot easier to carry around than a standard iPad. I can easily throw it in my purse, and not have it take up a huge amount of room.

My only frustration is that, like many Apple products these days, I feel like the quality is a little lacking. It loses charge incredibly fast. A while ago it decided it didn’t like the power cord I was using to charge it (which was the Apple one that came with it).

I read online that this kind of error can occur with off-brand Apple cords, but this WAS THE ORIGINAL APPLE CORD!! So, I bought another cord (not Apple. but “approved” by them) and now it charges fine.

Still, its frustrating when things like that happen and their own problem solving advice is clearly wrong. Would I buy again? Yes. I don’t think I could live without my iPad mini, honestly.
