There are many types of white wine, but some of the most popular include chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, and pinot grigio. White wine is typically lighter in color and body than red wine, and has a range of flavors that can include citrus, apple, pear, honeysuckle, and more.
Whether you’re looking for a refreshing summer sipper or a rich and complex wine to pair with food, you’re sure to find a white wine to suit your taste at Publix.
Barefoot Sauvignon Blanc Dry White Wine features crisp notes of refreshing honeydew melon, sweet nectarine and juicy peaches in a larger 1. 5 L bottle that’s perfect for entertaining. Finished with a delicious hint of zesty lime and pear, this aromatic California white wine pairs perfectly with a fresh vegetable tray or assortment of mild cheeses.
This crisp and refreshing Barefoot wine is best served chilled, and the larger bottle contains two 750 mL bottles of wine, making it ideal for entertaining and parties. This Sauvignon Blanc wine comes from Barefoot, the most awarded wine brand in US competitions.

2. Bota Box Sauvignon Blanc, Calfornia (Vintage Varies) – 3 L bottle
We were excited to try our first boxed wine. With a 4. 6 rating here, we thought we were in for a treat. I’d be happy if it was just satisfactory since ease of access is simple. Nope. Unsatisfactory from the first sip.
We came back to it a few days after thinking maybe we had too high expectations the first time. Nope. Bad again. We then opened a bottle of an expensive sauvignon blanc we like. I’m going to use the Bota for cooking but not for drinking.
I stumbled upon this wine while trying to find something with less sugar than Moscato, which is (was) my favorite. The BB Moscato is also awesome, btw! I didn’t think I would like a wine with very little sugar but this is delicious! Not too dry either and I love the packaging.
I was reading that some brands add sugar to sauvignon blanc. Is there any added sugar in Bota Box? Doesn’t matter even if there is as I’ve tried other brands of sauvignon blanc and they just don’t taste nearly as good.
Once again Bota impress me with another good release. Bota Sauvignon Blanc is a very good White wine with Low+ body, smooth acidity, and good nose. The nose was very pleasant smell like fresh grapes, the smell was not the best of all Sauvignon Blanc I have had but for the price this is better than anything I have had under 17 USD for 750ml.
The taste was fine nothing special but I love how you guys just let the wine be itself and not force anything. The taste was so smooth and subdued I actually could drink this anyday.

Starborough Sauvignon Blanc is one of our top three favorites from the best wine producing area there is for this wine (in our opinion) – New Zealand. The wine is on the dry side, yet not bracing. We don’t like sweet wines that are too fruit forward, and this one is so well balanced with kiwi, passion fruit, and other tropical fruits, but has a citrus and cut grass finish.
It is perfect to drink alone with no food, and perfect with all manner of seafood, shellfish, chicken, pork, cheeses, any protein really.
My wife and I recently decided to break out of our wine ruts and explore some varietals we’d previously ignore, like sauv blancs. After drinking our way through about 8 different “savvies” we found this one and fell in love.
It’s an acidic, herbaceous blast that’s just about the perfect summer wine. Don’t be afraid to chill it more than you do other white wines. The 2017 vintage is good, but the 2018 is outstanding, especially at this price.
This vibrant fruit has elegant structure, making Oak Leaf wines full of flavor, rich in color and smooth in taste the perfect accompaniment to any meal. This light-bodied, sweet Moscato has soft floral aroma, hints of peach and pineapple, and a refreshing finish.
The philosophy of Oyster Bay is to produce fine, distinctively regional wines that are elegant and assertive with glorious fruit flavors. Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc is the wine that started it all. Which happened to win the best Sauvignon Blanc in the world.
Its brilliant clarity, extraordinary aromatic flavors, and refreshing zest are both thrilling and enthralling. Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc features enticing citrus notes and tropical flavors – youthful, elegant, and fresh with a lingering, zesty finish.
Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is ideal as an aperitif or perfectly matched with raw and grilled seafood such as salmon and tuna, calamari, crab cakes, Cajun, and spicy dishes, and fresh Asian flavors.

Bought this on Sunday. Opened on Monday after it chilled overnight in the fridge. Tastes great! But by Monday evening the bottom of the box was soggy and my fridge shelf was damp. I put a glass dish underneath, thinking it must have just spilled a bit while getting a glass? However, Tuesday I woke up to the container filled with wine and half the bag drained.
Somehow this leaked almost the entire contents, despite being unable to find a hole in the bag and the faucet-like spout showed no signs of leaking either. So disappointing. A box can’t last the same time as 4 bottles of wine if it dumps out 2 of those bottles all over your fridge with no rhyme or reason.
The Rosé bota box that I tried before this did not leak. Perhaps a manufacturing flaw with this variety. Either way, super bummed. Would not recommend buying it unless you’re ok with losing most of the contents to your fridge shelves/looking for an excuse to deep clean your fridge.
I HAVE DRANK PINOT GRIGIO FOR YEARS. WHAT IS HAPPINING? I RETURNED 3 BOX’S TO TOTAL WINES, ONE TO PUBLIX AND ONE TO WHOLE FOODS. PINOT GRIGIO IS ALWAYS ALMOST CLEAR! ALL BOXES WERE GOLD AND HAD TURNED TO GOD AWFUL TASTE AND SMELL! EITHER YOU CHANGED YOUR PINOT GRIGIO OR THESE ARE WAY PAST THEIR SHELF LIFE DUE TO COVID.
I love this one but… The box leaks. I just open my brand new box an hour ago and then I went back for my second glass and the entire box leaked into the drawer in my refrigerator there’s no holes in the bag there’s no tears in the box I don’t know what happened.
When I saw that bota box was making a low-carb wine I thought wow I can finally have it all, the universe said otherwise. if anyone has a fix or a way to prevent this from happening again let me know.

I like this Pinot a little better than some other brands, but not by much. These little bottles are great for picnics though! If I’m looking for wine, I’ll usually pay a little more for something good.

Stay away from 2020. I have regularly had either 2019 or 2021 bottles and have to say that 2020 must have been a bad year for the vineyard. Tastes unbalanced, more dry but in a bad way, missing slight tropical fruit hint and smoothness.
It’s also slightly effervescent when poured-never the case with other years of production.
This Chardonnay is very good. One of my go to wines. The price point of less than $20 is an amazing value. Very comparable wine to Rombauer but at a lower price point. Definitely a great buy! Drinks like a $40 bottle.
This wine lingers and has a nice finish, typical of the higher priced Chardonnays from Sonoma. However recently I have noticed that the ‘screw-top’ closures are not very secure. Four of the six bottles that I recently purchased started leaking when stored on my wine rack.

Maybe it’s was just the Sauvignon Blanc but it tasted like dirt. There was no mineral qualities or that lovely refreshing taste of citrus. It was thick and had a horrible flavor that stayed on your palate forever.
I hope the other wines are better, but I would rather drink barefoot wine and that’s disgusting. I’m still trying to give away the bottles that I have because it’s so undrinkable (unless I’m already a bottle of wine in and can’t tell the crappiness of this wine).

Sauvignon Blanc is my favorite wine for its fresh, dry taste. When I can find good flavor with fewer calories, I am happy. This wine meets that expectation. It is not as intensely flavored as the non-light wines, but I feel like I am not sacrificing flavor for calories and less alcohol per serving.
I don’t have a single favorite Sauvignon Blanc, but I will definitely include this one in the rotation because I really enjoy it.
This is not bad. Is it great wine? No, is it good enough? Yes. Would I like my favorite Kendall Jackson? Yes. But I need to lose weight, and I need to drink less. This tastes like watered down oaky chardonnay.
It is fine. I am happy. I can now have two glasses and relax in the evening. Now if they put it in a box it would be even better!.
Wanted something light and the bonus was it had lower calories. The first sip, it smelled, vaguely, like a dog biscuit. The flavor was non existent. I don’t drink a lot of wine, but this definitely didn’t have a good flavor.
I like most white wines. but I wouldn’t waste my money on this wine (not wine) again.
There are a few things to consider when picking out the perfect white wine for your next publix visit. The type of white wine, the occasion, and your personal taste all play a role in finding the best white wine for you.
If you’re looking for a versatile white wine that can be enjoyed with a variety of foods, then a dry white wine is a good choice. Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are both popular dry white wines that pair well with a variety of foods.
If you’re looking for a white wine to enjoy with a light meal or on its own, then a fruity white wine like Riesling or Moscato might be a better choice.
The occasion also plays a role in choosing the right white wine. If you’re looking for a white wine to enjoy with a romantic dinner, then a richer, more full-bodied white wine like Chardonnay would be a good choice.
If you’re looking for a white wine to enjoy at a party or with a group of friends, then a lighter, more refreshing white wine like Sauvignon Blanc would be a better choice.
Finally, your personal taste is the most important factor in choosing the perfect white wine. If you prefer a sweeter white wine, then Riesling or Moscato would be a good choice. If you prefer a drier white wine, then Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc would be a better choice.
Ultimately, the best white wine is the one that you enjoy the most, so be sure to try a few different types before settling on your favorite.
