O my goodness! What a wonderful product. Such a beautiful color! I used this Patina Green on a wall with copper to make the wall look like fabric or wallpaper. Success. it is stunning, and the compliments keep coming in! There are so few “greens” that really look like copper patina but this one is a winner.

This color will be used again in my home as copper seems to be the theme. I believe there is a blue that you have that will be my next purchase.

Once you try milk paint, you will never want to go back. The white takes multiple coats to get a solid white finish when you paint dark cabinets but the outcome is worth the work. A little bit goes a long way.

You just add a little water if you want to thin the consistency. It spreads on like sour cream. It was fun to work with. It gets absorbed and dries quickly with zero brushstrokes. This stuff is truly great.

Doing my lower cabinets in China Blue. Did my exterior door in lamp black with a brass kick plate. Cleans up with water. I will never stop buying this stuff. If you are worried about the price. remember you get hat you pay for.

When you are painting something as important and visible as your kitchen cabinets, you have to look for the best. I am more than pleased.

General Finish Milk Paint is not real milk paint. They use “milk paint” to market it for the color options for the paint but does not use any ingredients found in milk paint. Therefore, unlike real milk paint, General Finish has VOC and uses chemical ingredients.

Don’t be fooled by their deceptive marketing. I am extremely upset that I purchased their paint thinking it was milk paint. I used General Finish to paint my child’s furniture and I have waited a month for the toxic VOC odor to disappear and it’s still there.

They need to remove “milk paint” from their product name.

This color is amazing! I ordered it online, couldn’t find it anywhere local! The price was about double what a normal quart is ($22)! It was delivered UPS and the box was crushed at one end! Naturally it was the end the paint was in the elongated box, with airbag packing in the other end! I opened it in front of the UPS lady and it only had minimal leakage with a small amount of paint! The shipper had placed 4 spring clips on the lid to prevent opening! Otherwise the lid would have came conpletely off! The can was slightly dented! So I deceided to keep it anyway! The color is very bright and pleasing! The UPS Lady commented on that is a very nice color, it really pops! I planned to use this on a handicap curb and sign posts! Most blue paint they use for handicap is dull and boring! Now seeing the great color, I plan on useing this on the top endge color for my jon boat about 8″, then 1″ White, then Gray to the bottom! I have been searching for a color for the boat for sometime and this is it! This is very nice paint & color except for the higher price!.

Our gas line to our backup emergency generator was beginning to rust after 14 years of outdoor service and after cleaning the pipe and fittings with emery cloth – I used “Rust-Oleum (rusty metal) Primer” to coat the pipe and allowed it to fully dry (2-days) before applying the top coat of Rust-Oleum Enamel Paint.

It now looks better than it did when brand new. I feel the pipe is better protected and no longer an eyesore.

Delivered quickly and in good secure packaging. I used this enamel for my metal stair railing and the product makes it look like it is brand new. Also, I was glad Zoro sold this item as I could not find it at any local big box stores.

I did find one at a smaller hardware store but they priced it at 3 times the MSRP. I didn’t know Zoro was affiliated/owned by a very large enterprise industrial supply company and so now I will use Zoro more for future purposes.

TERRIBLE PAINT : I bought RustOleum Painter’s Touch Flat Black Water Based Paint to paint a wooden table for patio use. In the can and upon first applying, the paint appeared blue but later turned black.

It was like brushing on Elmer’s glue. uneven, runny coverage. Advertised as “Ultra Coverage”, it took three to four coats to achieve decent coverage. The appearance is definitely not Flat Black being more like Satin.

I’ve just finished the project so it remains to be seen how well it holds up over time. If you desire ease of application, satisfactory results and a flat black appearance, avoid this product.

I purchased this product because I was looking for FLAT BLACK paint. I search other Rustoleum products but no ” Flat Black “. When I first started it was watery, but after stirring for several minutes it finally thickened up.

Yes, it started out blueish but then the black showed thru but it wasn’t ” Flat Black “. Why doesn’t it say it will dry a satin finish on front of can. Now I will have to go out and try to find FLAT BLACK paint.

This was a waste of time and money !! Not recommended.

I’m extremely disappointed in this paint, Rustoleum Painter’s Touch Ultra Cover Premium Latex Paint. Some of the worst paint I’ve ever used. In accordance with instructions from Rustoleum Customer Service, I applied it to a surface that had been primed with Zinsser 1-2-3 primer.

I used a high-quality one-inch brush. It was very difficult to get this paint to cover uniformly. And then after I applied the paint, it dripped and sagged. Terrible!.

Paint came fast, easy to mix, quality take us to the paint, I did have to use two coats on bad bare wood areas. Came fast, washes with water, dries in an hour,

versatile paint product. can be spread on with brush or sprayed on and will look good and last. but like anything that needs to be painted a good prep job needs to be done first or you are wasting your time.

Well known name brand paint. In double sealed cans to insure they arrive unopened. Sprays smooth and cleans up easy.

I purchased a 5 gallon bucket of this to restore our fence in preparation for our backyard wedding. We scraped off all the old paint which was extremely labor intensive, then painted the fence (also very labor intensive).

It’s been 1 month and we are noticing that the paint is ALL coming off. It’s cracking and peeling everywhere. It looks worse than it did before! I contacted Home Depot about getting my money back and they said I had to contact Behr and I can’t get ahold of anyone at Behr.

I’m more upset about the amount of time this project wasted and how horrible our fence looks now than the money really. The picture makes it look like we didn’t scrape off the old paint, but we had it down to the bare wood.

All of the peeling is the NEW paint. Even the old paint wasn’t peeling that bad. I had used Lowes Fence paint a year ago on a different section of the same fence and didn’t have this trouble at all. The only reason I didn’t use the lowes paint this time was because it was out of stock at our local store.

I wish I would have waited for it to come back to Lowes instead of getting Behr paint at Home Depot.

I have used acrylic latex paint including Behr on asphalt shingles without primer and the results were fine even 15 years after painting the roof white so see no need for a primer. My experience is that acrylic latex paint adheres very well to asphalt shingles and in addition, acts to hold the gravel to the shingle.

Why does Behr recommend a primer? I have also thinned the first coat substantially to ensure that it it seeped between shingles since I have found the paint acts as an additional bond between shingles.

Overall, I have found that painting shingles will add substantial life to them.

I bought the barn paint for my big porch ceilings and also for some of the trim and porch furniture. I am so pleased with the coverage and dry time. It looks amazing! I definitely will use it in the future.

I’m going for the deck paint tomorrow. Behr IS the best! Hands down! I’ve used way to many others and they don’t even come close!.

I bought this as have used farrow and ball before and their paint is so good for cleaning. However, although this is advertised as washable and wipeable, it really isn’t. Before purchasing and paying for a painter, do a bit of research in to F&B paint finishes to see if this is for you.

It isn’t recommended from F&B for any high use areas. It isn’t shiny either, like a previous description says, more a chalky finish that is very porous and not wipeable. I will be re purchasing the same colour elsewhere, in modern emulsion – which is a paint that can be wiped over and does have a slight sheen to it.

So unfortunately it’s a redecorate for us, just a few months after finishing.

Have used this paint quite a few times and contacted F&B when I’d a problem the first time and discovered that if it’s too warm when you use it then it dries too fast and you can thin it down with some water.

The secret is you must use the F&B primer. Any other primer doesn’t get the same effect nice tried other primers and the paint peels. If you use the matching primer it locks together and the paint lasts years with no chips at all.

You can get marks off with a magic eraser and it doesn’t damage the finish. I’ve painted my front door and the surround was painted in a different paint and a yr later the other paint has a chip and the F&B paint is still pristine.

Only negative is it’s a bit more expensive but it’s def worth the money.

I am really impressed with this paint. It goes on easily and dries very quickly. I used it as an experiment to paint over a latte colour (I needed a quick fix) the result was a beautiful light sage green colour.

I am so happy with it. It only needed two light coats. I have now bought loads of F&B paints to do the rest of my house as I was so impressed. Cleans easily, no odours too which is always a bonus. It costs more than many other paints but in my opinion the results are so much nicer.

I have used Valspar (which I like) Dulux which I think is terrible. I would now rather pay a little more for the better qualilty.

This paint doesn’t even deserve one star. Doesn’t cover ! I’m on my 3rd coat ! PSA…do not buy this it is not good paint !

I used to use another brand of paint until about about 22 years ago when I switched to Benjamin Moore on the advice of a professional painter. After all these years, I would never change from Benjamin Moore Paints, especially on the outside of my house.

It goes on smooth, dries well and looks fantastic! It’s durability in all types of weather never ceases to amaze me!.

Using this paint to repaint our deck railings. Going great so far. I’ve somewhat sanded the flat areas, not stripped. Looking good so far. I have not sanding the smaller railings and the paint seems to be covering just fine.

It’s easy to paint with. I will need to to a second coat in a few places but that’s it. I’ll be using Ben paint again.

This paint is see-through! It’s so expensive and in the past I have always loved Benjamin Moore paint but why is this paint see-through? How many coats of it am I going to have to put on before I can’t see the paint that is underneath it? Some of the pain underneath it is white and some of the paint underneath it is light green and in both cases I can see through this paint after two coats!.

My son bought this paint and had the color matched to a doorframe. He bought it to paint the front door which is metal. He said it’s the best paint he’s ever used! He mentioned how well it goes on and how smooth the surface is.

I used the HGTV Home paint by Sherwin-Williams on two different wood surfaces. Both were cleaned and properly prepped as the directions clearly instructed. The first surface was smooth, and had a nicer, more finished feel to it.

The second surface was more unfinished and had a raw, rough texture to it. The paint coated the smooth, finished wood surface very easily and it took only one coat. I would say that the built in primer was a definite time saver, and made the entire project easier and more pleasant! As I expected, I had to apply a second coat to the raw wood surface because it soaked the paint right up.

Rough, textured surfaces often need 2 coats because it’s hard to get the paint into all of the cracks, bumps and crevices. After the second coat dried, it was perfect, and looked just like the first surface.

The surfaces haven’t had sufficient time to really get dirty at this point, so I’m not able to touch on the self-cleaning technology except to say that I’m excited and hopeful that it will keep things cleaner and looking like new for a longer period of time than other paints.

So far, I would give this paint a thumbs up and 5 stars! Definitely worth the price in my opinion!.

HGTV Home Sherwin – Williams Everlast Exterior Paint I had a few outside projects I wanted to paint. I went to Lowe’s and picked up a gallon of HGTV Home Sherwin – Williams Everlast Satin Exterior Paint in Fired Brick.

This is a complete one coat paint and primer and 100% acrylic enamel. This product provides all weather protection, water beading technology, UV defense (protects from fading), mold-mildew and algae resistant coating and is anti-fade.

Also, this paint covers existing paint, dirt, residue, and old stains. I live in Louisiana where the humidity is insane and all it has done is rain the last 3 weeks. It states this paint has rain ready technology, meaning it’s dry in l hour.

Therefore, when the rain stopped long enough I applied one coat of paint to the outside shelves I was putting together. I used a 2” Purdy XL Glide paint brush with medium stiff nylon bristles. It was so easy to paint my shelves with the thick formula.

Hint: Louisian has an average humidity of 74%. It took 1 hour 10 minutes for the first coat to dry. What a surprise? I couldn’t believe the paint was dry! The 1st coat of paint covered the shelves so well I almost didn’t apply a second coat.

After 2 hours I applied the second coat. I love the deep rich red color of “Fired Brick”. This product comes with Sherwin – Williams Lifetime Warranty. I highly recommend you try HGTV Home Sherwin Williams Everlast exterior paint.

We hate diy and in particular painting and all the cutting in etc BUT we both agreed that this paint was actually really good to paint with, it goes on the walls like a dream, it’s thick and creamy and a joy to paint with.

We used no undercoat and used 2 coats of paint rollers on and the coverage was amazing…. with any other paint in the past we’ve had to do 3 or 4 coats and still not been 100% happy (total pita!). The end result of using this is very professional looking! Would def recommend based on my own personal experience.

It’s very hard to find light grey without blue undertones. Painted the whole house in this colour. Love it!

We have used Farrow and Ball for a few years now and find it to be the best paint we have ever used. It’s lovely to apply and gives a great finish. The colours are suttle and we like the Matt finish.

We used Elephants breath on the doors and skirting and the colours blend beautifully. I know it is expensive but well worth it.

Used paint for cabinets. I’ve already applied 3 coats And I’m probably going to add two more tomorrow. There is no coverage. I should have used Rust-Oleum water based because I’ve used it before, but decided to try this.

Big mistake. At least I’m getting a good arm workout😳💪🏻😓.

My home was built in 1957 and was all dark dark stained wood doors, trim, and cabinets. This paint was thick enough to cover the existing wood without allowing that beigey tint to come thru when painting over older stained wood.

Painted on to new dry plaster as per F&B website instructions – dilute 1st coat, less dilute 2nd coat and undiluted top coat. Lovely deep colour and very matt if you want to cut reflected glare in a sunny room.

Side by side comparison with Dulux trade matte – F&B feels like silk with no raised texture; Trade Matte is a coarse cotton-like feel with surface texture left by the same roller.
