I use so much heavy whipping cream on a weekly basis! I use this one as it is usually the one that is most readily available at my nearby store. I’ve used it for zitti, mac n cheese, homemade whipped cream, making butter, semifreddo, and a lot more.

I am responsible for making somewhere between 25-40 desserts every Sunday for an elderly resident’s family social afternoon for a large home, most of which need a good, heavy whipping cream.

This is a wonderful product and is a proper whipping/almost double cream alternative for many purposes. I’ve used it very successfully several times as a cake filling and topping (with raspberries etc but I’m sure you could add any flavouring) and it kept its consisitency perfectly.

It also tastes great with only a very faint and pleasant ‘coconuttiness’. Whole family liked it very much. Whips up easily (in fact needs very little whipping, certainly not the three minutes suggested ) but no hint of ‘overwhipping’ or separation.

I’m looking forward to trying it in other desserts eg mousses, fruit fools etc. Only downside is the cost, much more expensive than dairy cream especially taking postage costs into account. Also not yet widely available.

Perhaps that will bring the cost down a bit.

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THIS WILL NOT WHIP FOR ME???? I followed the directions on the can. Put can in refrigerator for 2 days. Used electric hand mixer. It did not whip! Tried whipping it for 15 minutes straight-still didn’t whip! Then tried setting the bowl in a container of ice water and whipping more-still did not whip.

Now I have to say that it did get a teeny bit frothy, but it did not whip anywhere near the consistency of whipped cream! What am I doing wrong???.

Do NOT buy this product. My daughters birthday was ruined by the mess this stuff made. Literally just slid off the cake in a puddle. I was concerned when I began to frost the cooled cake layers as the frosting was very thin and drippy coming out of the container.

I have used the chocolate frostings on vanilla cakes with no problem but that was Pilsbury brand. This was a first time using vanilla frosting on a chocolate cake and it will be my last. We placed the cake in the refrigerator over night to help it set up.

Took it out and placed it on the table for the party and it looked okay so put the cover back on. By the time we were ready for cake and I removed the cover it was a total mess. This was inside a house, air conditioned to 74 degrees.

First time using vanilla icing and it was a total disaster.

I bought Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Frosting, Milk Chocolate 16 oz to use on a Betty Crocker baked yellow cake. The top lid and aluminum under the lid were easy to take off. I stirred the frosting in the container and applied it to sections of the cake.

I took my time to spread the frosting to ensure the frosting did not lift the cake topping. The container of frosting easily covered the 9 x 13 cake. The Milk Chocolate flavor is a favorite for the yellow cake.

The frosting has a rich milk chocolate taste. I prefer to stir the frosting to make it less stiff and more spreadable.

I have always used Betty Crocker frosting but this time the quality was terrible! This was a very recently purchased can. First off the consistency was very different. It was sticky and the frosting remained very sticky on my cupcakes many hours later.

The taste was not good and there was a grainy sugary texture in the frosting when you ate it. I honestly have to say I was shocked at how horribly bad it was. I would have never expected this from a Betty Crocker product.

Have always used dream whip over cool whip because it is handier to keep stocked up. It works well as a whipped topping for pies and so many other dessert uses. It makes a great “mock ice cream” too.

One packet dream whip made according to instructions, and one 3 ounce box of any flavor jello pudding made according to directions, and then whip the two together very well. Divide into 4 equal cups, cover well and freeze.

This product is awesome! I do not make a lot of pies, but have used this several times. The results are wonderful. I use this to make chocolate cream pies and they always come out very airy. It is a lot different than using the pudding and pie mix alone.

To get the consistency I like does require a bit of time, as the peaks form after several minutes. I use an electric blender, never anything else. It is amazing what a difference using this product makes.

If you are making a recipe that calls for that other whipped stuff, skip it and use this instead. It has a much better ‘real’ whipped cream flavor and no aftertaste like the other stuff. Also, if you need something to help ‘hold up’ a recipe that requires something firmer, add a little less milk than directed or a couple of tablespoons of powdered milk to this to make it a bit thicker.

I use this instead of the stuff in the blue and white tub to make the pistachio salad with pistachio pudding, crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, and pecans. It tastes SOOO much better than the other stuff.

This is one of my favorite whipped creams! I’ve never had a whip cream that taste like our ice cream. I love putting it in my coffee when it’s semi frozen, because it’s like I added a scoop of vanilla ice cream in my cup.

My kids love it too, I like to put it on their waffles for an extra fun touch. I am currently on a non dairy diet so I haven’t been able to indulge in this, but I noticed they have a vegan whipped cream and I’m excited to try it.

This is actually a very good vegan/ gluten free alternative to Cool Whip or regular whipping cream. The flavor is very comfortable and when you use it in baked goods excetera you can’t taste the difference at all.

I absolutely love the vegan version of this whip topping its so light and fluffy. This is great to go on fruit or as a nice topping for a pie on a hot summer day. One of the best things about this brand is that they don’t use corn syrup which is absolutely amazing.

Ok, seriously I have been searching for this for months?! (A year?) and finally just came to the manufacturer’s website to find out if it’s been discontinued because I can’t find it available anywhere.

I’m hoping the fact that it still comes up on Google searches and it’s still listed on the Reddiwip site means production has just been temporarily halted? If so, I’m hoping that it becomes available soon.

This is my go to on my diet (that I’ve lost 40lbs on) and is plan approved and doctor approved. Better yet, its delicious! My husband and I typically (used to) buy 3-4 cans a month! Please start selling it again soon.

Reddi Wip is so lightweight and creamy with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The only thing better than than having it with desserts is a mouthful all by itself. At least that’s what my grandchildren say.

They think it’s so much fun when I squeeze it straight in their little mouths. No other whip topping comes close to the delicious flavor of Reddi Wip. I prefer the can over tub versions because it’s convenient and portable.

I ordered Great value, Heavy whipping cream. Heavy whipping cream is REAL cream. What you attempted to give me was whipped stuff with sugar and so on. Cannot use this spray stuff in recipes. It is only for non diabetics to add to a dessert.

I have ordered REAL GV whipping cream several times and did not get any. Why? Do you ever plan on getting it in stock? When I ordered it, nothing said that they were out of stock. Why Not?? Then I would have possibly made a choice for some other such as Darigold Heavy whipping cream.

We are familiar with this item from Germany, and are very happy to find a US source. If you whip cream instead of relying on the quickly-deflating aerosol stuff, this is a must! It helps the whipping cream to whip up faster and fuller, and last longer.

We have kept some whipped cream in the refrigerator up to 3 days without “deflating” (it may last longer, but we cannot refrain from eating it in that time!).

My Mother is German and I grew up with Dr. Oetker products. She uses the Whipped Cream Stabilizer when she bakes and uses whipped cream. Try Dr. Oetker products they are great.

Cream rolls aren’t as difficult to make. That’s a lie. They’re fiddly but delicious. As an Afghan, I’m judged on my ability to cook rice and several other dishes, so I stepped forward, overcame my anxiety and gave the rolls a shot.

I’m not sure about the puff pastry, I cheated because I was too lazy to make my own dough. The pastry was nice, I mean my family didn’t complain, but it wasn’t as authentic as my mother’s. The cream rolls were light and airy.

I used this to make vodka sauce. I added my homemade sauce to a saucepan on low heat. I added the whipping cream and stirred it in. After I added the vodka. I left it heat up and thicken. I placed two of my pre cooked meatballs from the freezer in the saucepan.

I let it heat. When it was done I added it to the pasta. I added Parmesan cheese. I only use quality products when cooking to get the top shelf taste.

I love just about anything Land O’Lakes puts out. Their products are exceptional! Their heavy whipping cream is amazing. I find it stays fresher longer than other brands. I bought the Walmart brand before and it started to go bad long before its expiration date.

You won’t have that happen with the Land O’Lakes heavy whipping cream. I use the Land O’Lakes heavy whipping cream and the Land O’Lakes butter in my mashed potatoes and they come out amazing every time.

I’ve always thought this was a good heavy cream for those who want something without all the other fillers for a little bit cheaper price but the last batch was not good. I’m not sure If I was just used to another popular brand because I bought this brand and the other at the same time and used the other first and when I ran out, I used this and thought it was so gross?! It’s got a weird like extra milky taste that lingers on the tongue.

I use heavy cream in my coffee, and this product is more like putting butter in your coffee. It looks like heavy cream (though pours very thickly, not surprisingly), but it doesn’t act like cream in the coffee — the coffee’s not creamy.

All other brands I’ve used give a highly creamy effect. I don’t know how the product would perform for other uses. (Also, the stubby spout for pouring gives a very unsatisfying experience. Doesn’t actually dribble on the side of the box but seems like it wants to.

Bought it in whole foods – my kids were using this cream for muffin toppings. After 1st time sucessful use and keeping it in a fridge for about a week, I wanted to used it again. Shaked for 2 minuntes, turned can upside down, pressed nozle sideways as per instruction and cream is not coming out.

Repeated this multiple times. Can feels almost full but it seems there is a product quality defect. Hope manufacturer will make a proper testing and fix the problem.

Best whipped cream! This is always our first choice for whipped cream when we want it for anything. It’s great on pies, ice cream and even fruit since it’s lightly sweetened it doesn’t take away from the flavors.

This whipped cream is the closest I can find to homemade. Most brands have crazy unnecessary ingredients that are gross, this doesn’t. It taste superior to any other brand I’ve tried. It also has a lot of product in the can compared to other brands.

I’m able to find this product for sale at Trader Joe’s. Otherwise just whip heavy cream with a splash of vanilla and sugar, which taste just like it and is cheaper.

It doesn’t taste that great, it definitely does not spread! It’s definitely is not whipped! Destroyed my two layer cake! Never again! I’ll use Betty Crocker or make it myself! What a waste! I wish, I had tasted and tried spreading this garbage before attempting to use it on my daughters birthday cake! Which is now ruined! I refrigerated the cake for over an hour! After it sat on my stove for almost an hour after baking! I even removed it from the pan to refrigerate to ensure it was cold! Using a frosting spreading knife dipped in water, and this garbage still stuck to my knife! When I tried to spread this on to a trimmed cold cake, it ripped it to shreds! Literally pulled chunks off of the cake! This sat in my pantry for 3 days with no A/C to keep it at room temperature! What an absolute disgrace! Btw I tried Betty Crocker and didn’t have any issues! Also my own homemade frosting, was so much better than this nonsense.

Let me begin by admitting to be a bit of a home baker and high end bakery snob. I decided I was too lazy to make my own frosting and picked this up at the local grocery. It is literally the worst store bought frosting I can remember buying.

Even my boyfriend who has questionable tasting ability said it was terrible. We both agreed that it has no cream cheese flavor; indeed it has practically no flavor at all. It is simply sweet, oily cream for you to try to spread on your cake.

And have fun with that, because of it’s artificial texture it’s pulling up all the crumbs as you spread it about. I am dumbfounded how a frosting can have no flavor whatsoever. Save your red velvet cake while you can and keep this FAR away from it.

I remember fluffy white made from a mix. It was airy and very fluffy, tasted great! I was excited to find it in a container, I thought use it on the next birthday cake I baked. I opened the container and took a look, no fluff.

I stirred as directed, still not fluffy. I iced the (DH)Devil’s Food cake with some difficulty (thank you for adding 15% more) it was not pretty. I don’t know if this icing works as a prepared item. Maybe this icing does not need the additives, more real ingredients.

I received a free box of the Country Crock plant cream. The plant cream performed a lot better than I expected. I used the cream in my mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese, green bean casserole and corn bread.

My mashed potatoes were creamier and smoother. The potatoes had a great taste as well. The Mac and cheese mixed well with the cream. The green bean casserole was great. The cream mixed well with the cream of mushroom soup.

I used the cream in the place of milk in my corn bread. My corn bread was soft and moist. My family had no complaints regarding how the food tasted. They went back for seconds and some for thirds. This is by far the best cream that is plant based.

I recommend this cream to everyone. You won’t be disappointed.

Checked ingredients with my daughter because her son has Celiac and she’s so cautious. When it passed, I used it to make Chocolate Mousse for our COVID-delayed holiday dinner and it was the hit of the dessert buffet.

Made it the day before, put it in large trifle bowl and covered with plastic wrap and stored in refrigerator. The next afternoon, when the wrap was removed, the mousse was fresh, chilled and easily spooned into waiting dessert bowls.

Far superior to Silk’s version that was out for a few months and then gone. It’s available at Walmart and Publix here. It has ZERO sugar in it unless you add it (see the nutrition facts). This takes of my dairy allergy kiddo and my diabetic husband.
