20 Best Way To Organize Keys (2023 Updated)

This is a great design and very compact. I will admit, I thought the pocket clip looked a little sus and I didn’t know if it would keep the KeyCase pinned in my pocket. After a couple months of use, I’m happy to report that it has not failed me and I’m quite confident it will continue to keep my KeyCase put.

The locking screw and spring placement keeps my keys snug, and soundless. This thing is dope! It does take some time to get used to deploying your keys in the manner intended, but well worth it. I did have a couple of “Oh $hit!” moments from not being able to feel the weight of my keys in the bottom of my pocket, when I first started using it.

Now it’s a relief not having them there. If you like compact, organized and quiet, buy one! The KeyCase looks cool af, too.

This is a great product and matches my credit card holder from Ridge perfectly. I was old school, carrying around keys on a key ring, some which I used so infrequently I forgot what they opened. And the same could be said about my wallet, stuffed with notes, photos, credit and travel cards.

Now, I have all mu credit card info on my phone wallet along with photos, and my keys have been reduced to three, down from ten! Both products are incredibly sleek and attractive as well as beneficial to those of us that want to take advantage of useful ways to make our lives easier and less cluttered! I would highly recommend any product from The Ridge.

I really wanted to like this product, but it’s not working for me the way I had hoped. The Ridge Wallet is an incredible product and I hoped that this would solve the alternate issue with keys, using them, storing, etc.

The truth is the mechanism is nice for hiding and opening, but not so much for actually using your keys. While turning does provide more leverage that just a single key, it’s very awkward in the hand.

Also, the product is much bigger than I expected. So my hopes for slimming down the key footprint in my pocket has grown. Back to the traditional key ring for me.

I purchased this Smart Magnetic Key Rack & Tray thinking I would use on my refrigerator or file cabinets. It is a perfect compact size but with lots of potential uses. I plan to use it to hang my glass mosaic craft tools.

I will use the second one to hang kitchen utensils and I will use the stick on magnetic bar so that I can attach it directly to the side of my kitchen cabinet. It truly is a smart product with countless uses and attachment options.

This key hook fits perfectly in my entryway. The item arrived in a timely manner and was very easy to install. I used screws instead of the magnetic feature. We are using it to hold our sunglasses and face masks.

I liked it so much we ordered another one for our keys and additional sunglasses.

Good quality, note the measurements; the photos makes it seem bigger than the actual measurements. One of the few holders than have more than 4 hooks, so much more practical. Little tray on top great for pens and loose change.

Attached with screws so did not test the stretngth of the magnet strip.

I have to say I was a little disappointed because I expected it to be a little heavier. The description didn’t say it is plastic and peel and expose adhesive to use. But it does hold the keys, just not in the spot I had originally chosen.

I purchased 2 of these key racks. They are made of stainless steel and I like their compact size. I’ll be hiding mine one on the inside of my closet and one in the garage. I am happy with this purchase.

Very small and weak magnets, will not hold any weight at to include keys. slides down and falls off. Would not buy this item again. waste of money.

This key cabinet works well for smaller key rings. We keep both a small set (my husband’s) and a larger set of keys (mine) in the cabinet and my husband gets irritated when trying to close the door and my keys sometimes get in the way.

We’ve managed to put them in there in a way to avoid issues with closing the door and that seems to work OK most of the time. Overall, I like this alternative better than a key bowl or just a regular key rack because the keys aren’t visible.

Compact and clean looking. Gets lots of compliments. Would rate 5 stars but the hinge does feel a bit cheap when opening, wish it had a bit more resistance and feedback when opening and closing.

Such great quality! I have mine on my fridge and the magnet holds all the weight (my parents have big keys lol). Its even hard to take off of my fridge. Do not hesitate to buy it. It also brings the screws to mount on the wall.

I haven’t used it yet so I can say anything for how durable it will be but I love the way it looks and the few tests I’ve tried with sticking my keys into the slot have worked very well. I was worried that my keys might be too heavy to hang from the holder but there’s no problem at all.

It’s very modern looking. I love it.

It fitted it worked with shelf and existing bracket tracks so what’s not to like?

We love this and it’s so much easier to hang keys or grab and go. The design is great quality, simple, and pretty cool looking. We slide mail on the top if we need to take it out to the mail box. My key fob does not have a key so I just stick my decorative ring in there.

The inside is a foam material and works great.

We operate multiple cars and other vehicles. This rack provides a handsome place to store the multiple keys. associated with those units. The rack did not get a higher rating, because the plugs, designed to fill the screw attachment holes were poorly designed (manufactured) and would not stay in the holes without gluing them in.

Correcting this failure was an unnecessary annoyance. For this reason, I can make only a qualified recommendation for this product.

I like the low profile. I have it next to a sideboard, so it’s tucked out if the way. Can hold all your miscellaneous keys, and now my masks. Well made.

This worked out great for me since I needed more hooks for keys. Easy to mount and came with screws and hole covers. Looks and works great.

There was a time I use to stay annoyed because of the jingling of keys in my pocket. Or the keys getting stuck in lose strands of hair inside a pocket. I bought a set in 2018 and I’m still loving it.

Agreed, there is going to be a second delay in getting the key out, but think about it. Pros: No more jingling of keys No more lose keys getting stuck inside the pocket No more pushing the nail between the key rings and getting injured in the process All the keys stay compact.

Occupies less space Looks cool, especially when you meet people and you put your wallet, phone and keys on the table to be comfortable. It attaches to most clips inside bags if you’re that kind of a person.

Cons: You have to get use to sliding the keys out from it. Sometimes it is a two handed job if you have small keys. Its compact enough to lose it if you drop it in a bag There are limited slots if you have more keys to manage.

(I just needed 3 slots. one home, one office and one gym locker. The fourth one is a bottle opener).

I bought one of these for myself some time back, and really like the way it keeps all of my keys organized and out of the way in my pocket. Before, keys were always poking me on my key ring in my pocket, but this thing keeps the keys organized with the sharp tips now confined to within the metal holder.

A simple invention but using high grade aluminum along with high grade extenders and screws. I liked it so much that I bought several others as gifts for friends this year.

Its cool looking and feels nice. I found putting the keys on cumbersome, especially if your keys have any plastic to it. That makes it fat and they don’t fit. The keys have to be just flat metal, any plastic will minimize the amount of keys you can put on the chain.

The other challenge is finding the key when you need to use it. If i were to buy this again, i would get the extension kits so you can fit more. Get the biggest one possible. I put my car key on the chain part so you still have dangly keys.

Would i buy another? No, but i’m glad i have one. Thats enough for me. I’d rather spend my money else where.

Love this! Perfect size for my keys and belongings. I have several things hanging and it’s holding up well. It comes with a card for each holiday to put with the shelf as a decoration. Super cute. When hanging, use the mark locator (looks like a small ruler) so your screws will fit perfectly with the shelf.

To be very honest, I was VERY surprised at how this works. There are soooo many copy cat or different variations of this concept to organize keys and I have tried a couple here and there and they NEVER WORK very well.

The nut the holds the actual keys literally ALWAYS COMES LOOSE after time. No this one. The special “click” you here once you tighten it is the magic. The keys are able to swivel in and out with ease and so far they have not come loose.

I was paranoid and in my car and pulled out a nickel and thought to myself I better tighten this up. I turned it and heard/felt the click and was sooo surprised and happy and realized oooh so that is how it works.

Before this key organizer, I had several keys with key covers that were clunky and took up so much room. This key organizer is a game changer. It’s very compact but fits so many keys. I originally bought leather ones for me and my husband, and they held up really well over the two years we used them.

However, we always cleaned them with alcohol wipes after coming back from work at the hospital and clinic, and it really wore them down. I bought us the active ones and they’re so much easier to clean.

Now there’s no more guilt about ruining the material! I also love how you can switch out the hardware, so I changed it from the silver it came with to the gold from my old one!.

This is my first Orbitkey and it lives up to the name. First of all, it keeps everything neatly and the keys stays in place. It keeps my 4 keys without issue. You might even go up to 7 keys and even more with the extension.

Next, the D-ring is nice for my use case as I need to keep my Opus card (transit) on a luggage tag. It attachs well and seems solid. The only negative is the blue leather isn’t as a deep color as I expected.

It is more like a light royal blue than a darker one. With time, the patina might make it looks nicer. In the end, yes, it is expensive for what you get but it is the best key organizer easily available.

I will see if the durability holds well. For now, it looks like it will last for many years.

Rack is well made from high quality materials. No rough edges. No exposed mounting hardware. Durable finish. I would definitely buy again or purchase as a gift. For the price I was pleasantly surprised with both workmanship and materials.

Great looking key rack. Real wood, with hooks that are well anchored. Comes with mounting hardware and wood plugs so you don’t see the hardware. It is just what I needed.

Great for hiding a door key outside my home. Gives me peace of I mind I will never accidentally lock myself out again. The latching door on the HideOut is sealed with a gasket and the latch closes firmly so there is no chance of any H2O seeping in.

I purchased this to mount an extra house key outside. I like the size and seems well made and should hold up well even in winter weather. It can easily hold 2 keys. It’s very easy to open.

Still stuck in place to my truck after many miles drving very bumpy mountain roads. Seems to be water tight with gasket. Construction does seem a little chincey with wimpy looking plastic hinge. But should hold up fine.

I have several USB drives. This organizer is on the wall next to my desk with all the USB drives clearly labeled and easy to find.

I like this because like so many other things you can use it for other things as well. Like hanging small things in a cabinet or producs in your bathroom. I could go on, but. if you get creative there’s plenty it can be used for besides hanging keys.

Anyway, it works for it’s intended purpose as well. Since it has multiple used,I’d definitely recommend it. If you have issues with mounting it, 3M adhesive works great too!!.

Heavier then it looks in a good way. Nice bronze finish. Shipping was quick and packaged well. It has a rustic look but looks good with my modern decor. The hooks are sturdy and not bendable at all. I used anchors to hang it and it holds small umbrellas, keys and I even left my smaller purse on it a few times with no issues.

It is easy to install just requires two screws. I would recommend.

All I can say is WOW! Where has this item been all my life! This is a great tool! and makes for a neat way to store keys! And for 29. 95 its expensive. This item is kinda like a folding knife but with keys! Im surprised they dont offer a pocket clip for this like a knife.

The directions arent that great but fairly simple to figure out. Just a tip Make sure you have all your keys lined up the way you would like or youll have to take apart again. This Does take awhile to get all washers in between keys and lined up but after that its easy! Ive Only had for a short time so I dont knw how long it takes or if it even does, but some buyers claim the Allen head screws loosen? But I cant see how with rubber o rings under them.

Worse case they do loosen use blue lock tite should fix any loosing problems. And they also state its REAL CARBON FIBER! So its light and strong! I would recommend this to anyone with keys. Theres also different size screws in all sorts of different lengths so you can add more keys if needed, All in all very impressed.

And item is German made And shipped from Germany if you buy direct from manufacturer like I did. That seems to be the best price I could find. So a word to the wise if you order make sure your home to receive package when its delivered as you will have to sign for it.

I looked at a bunch of different key organizers before finally buying this product. I absolutely love it! It is very light but is made out of tough carbon fiber. They give you plenty of hardware so you can customize it to just the right fit for all of your keys.

I love the fact that it has a hollow middle. It makes the keys much easier to see and access and align properly. It also comes with a solid loop so you can attach your bulky car keys. My keys now fit comfortably in my pocket all day and there is no more nonsense of them becoming tangled.

The first thing is Carbocage is very well made. I’m really impressed with its design and function. Far far better than other like designed products in its class. Very well engineered using Carbon Fibre and a useful set up down to the Screw Sizes.

I don’t think any other product shall surpass it for, Form, Function and Design. I will be purchasing another with full confidence. Well done.

This product is great! A bit too expensive for what it is; but very well crafted and designed. The key organizer is great! BUT the description for the item makes it seem like you can fit up to 7 keys (without any additional adapters).

It’s a bit misleading as I can just barely fit 3 keys and the multitool into the item. However, it’s well crafted, looks good, takes a little getting used to, but is overall just great to feel your keys are organized.

Multi tool is also great but the box cutter function (which I was really rooting for) leaves A LOT to be desired. If that part of the tool was a little bit SHARPER, orbitkey would have absolutely nailed it! The “blade” is dull, I assume for safety, but it’s so irritating to open boxes with it.

It functions, just not how I would love it to.

This is a pretty good product, it’s durable, the keys function correctly in the organiser. The D ring finish is still in tact so that’s a plus. Very light weight and fits in pocket well although the keys would shift in pocket and the key would be out poking my leg.

I tighten the organiser then it would be to tight to retrieve the key I what. The muli tool is a great addition to the set. Works very well and so far no problems. Still enjoy this key organiser set.

I bought the orbit key as the Christmas gift. First of all, it comes in a nice package that is very presentable. The keychain itself is exactly as expected, nice quality leather, well made, very functional to keep enough keys a regular person normally owns.

The Omnitool is also very handy. Size of the keychain with the keys is very compact and slim – exactly as expected. After seeing how functional it is, I’m already considering purchasing one for myself :).

I bought this set of color coded key rings with writable labels on each to organize and easily identify my various sets of keys; for the sheds, camper, storage unit, bike lock etc. It comes with a really simple, small, clear plastic key chain holder that can be wall mounted but I didn’t use it- I don’t need it and it’s not especially attractive- looks perfectly functional though.

Plastic tags are bright/clear easy to see and can use included label or your own. Each came with own metal ring-only reason I gave less than 5 stars was the metal ring itself was lesser quality-a little too thin gauge metal.

But for value/price was decent!.

We had one of these key racks in our previous house and it made managing keys a charm. It was a great way to keep and get access to keys that aren’t needed every day or even every week. We couldn’t take it with us (attached to the wall) so my wife will now get 2 for Christmas.

While not a beautiful present it is very practical and something she’s asked for.

I bought this item so that I could safely hide my car key underneath the car while I go open-water swimming. Some reviewers have mentioned they find the item difficult to open. I concur that it does require a strong push to open, but the benefit of that is that it won’t open accidentally by itself! For me, the one drawback of the item is that it’s not going to be big enough to hold certain car keys.

Based on my experience, I can confirm that it is NOT large enough to close when a Peugeot key is inside; however, it IS large enough to close when a Mercedes key is inside.

I bought another hide a key box at another online store and was not happy. It was not large enough. This one is large enough for my house key and my car key. My car key is large, one with the electronic door lock, trunk open and a panic button on it.

I looked everywhere before i found this one. the magnet on the bottom is very strong and it won’t fall off your car. also there is no writing on the outside of the box so no one will know what it is.

Put 1 key in it and had trouble withe the lid popping off and found it flimsy. I stuck it under the bumper of my truck. Didnt feel much “magnetic stick” to it so I hit the outside of the bumper with my fist once, and didnt have to hit it very hard, and it fell off.

Also when it hit the ground, the flimsy lid fell off again. I thought that it having the Master Lock name on it it would be of good quality. I was very wrong. After looking at the package, it said it was made for Master Lock in China.
