20 Best Waxing Strips For Underarms (2023 Updated)

If you do any kind of waxing these strips are by the best. I used to buy the Gigi brand of epilation strips, but was getting annoyed when they always seemed to fall apart and stick to everything even after removal and after wax oil.

Parissa is non-woven material. I never had to wax over the same area twice as it grabbed all the folicles on the first time.

I use this with Sally Hansen heavy duty wax actually. I use it for the bikini line and haven’t tried it elsewhere. I like that these strips don’t rip and can be folded to be used multiple times in the same sitting.

It collects all of the wax and does not leave residue behind. It is long enough to use in more than one area making the pack last longer.

Whenever I purchase wax for my body, I always have wax left over and no more strips. So the convenience of these extra strips was perfect for me. I found them easy to use, and quite effective. There was less pain, and hair was being removed without multiple tries.

Works well if you apply the wax about 1/4 inch thick. My pit hair is gone, and it wasn’t too painful. This was my first waxing experience after watching procedures of it. I’ll definitely use this product again because it does what it says.

The fabric strips are reusable if you wash them with soap and warm water. One word of warning: The container attracts ants! You may want to keep it in a fridge or somewhere inaccessible to ants.

I haven’t used wax in a long time and decided to try this cold wax. I did warm it in the microwave a bit. It worked so well. I LOVED that it also washes off with warm water and soap. Amazing wax will buy this again for sure!.

Well let me start out by saying that I got this product to do an at home waxing job, strictly pubic and underarm hair. I must say that this product came very nicely packaged through amazon, and came with every material it promised to have inside the box.

The only issues I found with this wax was that it needed to be heated at least 30 seconds in the microwave to be the perfect consistency and that some areas of the body are harder to wax than others, the strips that come with the set aren’t as easy to use as other strips that you can buy off of amazon or even some other retailers.

I will say that this stuff does of course hurt, and isn’t really any less painful than regular wax in my opinion. It’s great for more course hair and also should be used correctly for the best results.

Do your RESEARCH before using this product.

Oh wow y’all I found a hidden gem. These are absolutely amazing. So easy to use, no mess, no pain, no hair left, no redness, and last bite not least no irritation or pain. I researched and read review after review until I found the ones I felt were the the right fit for all of my needs and I couldn’t have chosen a better brand.

I’m serious go get these if you don’t like shaving it’s so much easier. There’s 12 strips but 2 in each so 24 applications with the post epilation lotion. Oh and I actually use one more than once. So you get more bang for your buck.

Btw there is no heating it up in the microwave or any of that. Believe me when I tell you it’s so easy, nothing like any other kits I’ve used. Not too mention it actually gets the hair off. I’ve only done my legs so far but today I’m going to do my lady parts.

I’m half Asian. I don’t have a mustache per se. It might classify as “peach fuzz” on someone else, but mine is dark. If you passed me in public, you wouldn’t notice at all. You wouldn’t think, “That woman has a mustache,” but like other women, I examine my face closely in the mirror every day during my daily skincare routine.

I can see it, and it bothers me. I think no one would see it unless they’re close enough to kiss me on the face/lips — that would depend on how much of a perfectionist your SO is, though. It’s just at the corners of my lips, just above my upper lip, and like I said, dark “peach fuzz.

” I was worried that these strips wouldn’t work, because it says that hair must be, at least, 1/4″. My “peach fuzz” is *maybe* 3/16″, at the most. I followed the instructions, and it worked like a charm! I had cut the strips in half, because the hairs are only at the corners of my upper lip.

The only problem that I had was that it missed some of the hairs at the very corner of my mouth. so I did it a second time to get those stray hairs, rather than try to pluck them all out. So. the skin did get red, inflamed, and angry, and it stung all day.

The after wax lotion doesn’t remove the sticky wax residue that well. I had to apply it and rub 3 different times to get all the wax residue off. That probably contributed to the skin irritation. I wish the strips were more curved.

Being straight, they don’t follow the line of my upper lip so well, which is why I couldn’t seem to get all the hair in one attempt. In the future, I will only wax my “mustache” at night before bed, and preferably, when I don’t have anywhere to go the next day.

Otherwise, the skin inflammation and redness above my upper lip after waxing is worse than the “peach fuzz,” but it DOES work!.

So I am used to waxing my own eyebrows, however, because of a recent deployment, I was not able to bring my Gigi waxer along. I found these on amazon and decided to give them a try. They are for sensitive skin and worked great! I give them 4 stars only because I had to also tweeze my eyebrows a little bit more than usual and because you have to rub them to warm them up.

I also had to cut them to get the right shape I was going for. But worked great and all the ladies (and some guys) wanted me to do theirs!.

It’s taken me over 20 years but I’ve finally gotten my eyebrows the way I like–had to grow them back after living through the 90s. ;P I prefer waxing over tweezing and these are the best wax strips.

The backing strips are clear, so you can see where you’re placing them and not accidentally rip half a brow off because there was a paper or fabric strip in the way. If it’s cold, the wax has trouble separating evenly, but it can be warmed up by rubbing between your hands, or use a blow dryer for like 5 seconds.

These are also great for getting all the little near-invisible hairs between the eyebrow and the eyelid so eyeshadow lays down smooth. 10/10, will repurchase forever.

okay, so i went to beauty school and have been in the beauty industry for 3+ years. i’ve done many, many eyebrow, lip, leg, etc. waxes. i picked these up on sale and they were the best purchase i’ve ever had from ulta that’s under $5.

these are SO easy to work with, I waxed my eyebrows in under 3 minutes with these and they look great, my skin feels great even though i use retinol products, (i’m aware, not supposed to wax while using retinoids).

however, these didn’t irritate my skin and took all the hair i wanted to remove off. I hardly ever write reviews but I felt one was definitely needed for this product! holy cow, i don’t think i will ever go without these again!.

This product hurt the skin under each eyebrow after the strips were removed. I followed the written instructions exactly. I have always had my brows professionally waxed, yet not possible this month due to COVID closures.

I tool a chance on this product based on the reviews and very disappointed. My brows are red and look like a rash or burn. The sensation is like you sometimes experience for a few seconds after a wax, yet I am going on four hours after the strips were applied and my brows are still red, yet the burning sensation has subsided a bit.

Pretty scary as I am hoping the skin is not damaged!.

I had been using commercial wax strips to remove hair from my upper lip. I think the brand was Veet. They always gave me a serious skin rash after use. I discovered they were full of nasty chemicals when I finally checked the label! I am so pleased I discovered Acorelle wax strips.

I used them for the first time last week and had absolutely no skin reaction afterwards. I hope that you will keep offering them as I will definitely buy them again. They are so gentle and yet do the job.

I would say it removes 70-80% of your hair. It is not super strong but then, it is also mild and easy to use. I have dry and sensitive skin, so I will continue buying these strips but if you do not have sensitive skin, I would recommend you to try something stronger.

Having had to shield, and not being able to visit beauty therapist, I found Accorelle strips for face. These aren’t 100% perfect, but they work well considering I’m not a beauty professional! I have quite sensitive skin, but had no adverse reaction to these gentle strips.

These wax strips come in two different sizes, one for upper lip and the other for bikini area. When you pull them apart you can use both pieces and there is no need to warm them in your hand before use.

Both my daughter and I used them with varying results. Her soft upper lip hair was removed easily. I had a few hairs that were shorter and thicker on my upper lip that it was not able to remove. I have had my upper lip hair professionally waxed before and these strips offer a good alternative.

Moving to the bikini area, it did remove hair, but took multiple attempts and was not a pain-free experience. As I moved to new areas I lost my will to “rip the strip” and “embrace the pain”, and waved my white flag, letting my hair follicles win the battle.

I have never had a professional bikini wax because I don’t really want to expose myself to strangers. So these strips will allow you to remove some hair in the privacy of your own home. I think the only way I could use these successfully on my bikini area would be if I had some help.

It is hard to do by yourself and eventually I just couldn’t muster up the strength to rip the hair off anymore. The post waxing towelettes are a must to remove all the excess stickiness. Soap will not remove the wax, but if you run out of towelettes, a little baby oil will also remove any leftover residue.

These wax strips are definitely better that other brands I have tried before. I have an acne prone skin and the usual wax strips would always cause lots of breakouts after using them plus redness. With these strips I could notice the differance right away from the material they used for the strips themselves, they are not plastic they are made of a material similar to fabric.

The strips come in 2 different sizes, each size group packed together inane sleeve within the box. The strips are easier to separate than other types I have used, PLUS no warming up needed which is great.

These strips come with pot waxing wipes to clean up any wax residue and minimize any irritation if you get any. These strips were able to remove the tiny facial hairs that has grown post a week of shaving.

I took one star off because the strip would be sticky enough for use 2 times only even though I didn’t have too much hair to remove at the time of use. Overall I would recommend for sensitive acne prone skin.

I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, I knew from hear say to expect it to hurt, but I also had heard it was worth it so I figured I’d give these a try. I’ve always been a razor and shave cream girl but hate that in a day or two, I’d feel stubbles.

So when we were going camping, I knew I wouldn’t have access to a razor for almost a week so I figured this was the perfect opportunity. They work! They are easy to apply, just peel (press down firmly) , stick, and PULL! Pull in the opposite direction that your hair grows.

Then let loose whatever screams you were holding back lol. In all seriousness, it does hurt but only for a few minutes and then you are left with silky smooth skin and can wear a bikini or shorts with confidence for days and days.

It gets all the hair, short and long. I used these on my bikini area which is pretty sensitive but didn’t have any issues. You should do a small skin test before using on a large area, just as you would with other skin care products.

I didn’t get bumps or skin irritation but others might, depending on how thin your skin is or how sensitive it is. I would recommend, especially because of the convenience of having to do it so much less often than shaving.

I have used this product for years and it used to be fantastic but they have changed it! It used to be bigger strips and stickier wax (thin, you could almost see through it). New formula isn’t as sticky so doesn’t get as much hair out due to that.

The oil used to be blue and was very good at removing any left behind wax. New oil is in a spray which is a bit harder to use (very small) but it smells horrible! It smells like a lemon floor cleaner (mind you most floor cleaners smell better than this does).

It is probably still one of the best at home strips out there so I would still recommend but just so sad that the changes they have made are not for the better!.

When I first began at home waxing I was using GiGi no strip wax. absolutely garbage! I switch out to Parissa wax strips and omg!! I absolutely adore these wax strips! So easy to use, very gentle and natural ingredients.

Theres literally only 4 ingredients in the wax which for my sensitive skin was a must! Easy clean up and leaves my skin silky smooth. Also super good for my thick dark Italian body hair gets them super good!.

This was my first experience with at home waxing that wasn’t the strips with wax already on them. Those never worked for me but this worked great. The directions are clear and easy to follow, just make sure you follow them and keep your wax warmed.

My only critique was that the box contains just enough for your legs (if you only do below the knee). At least for a newbie like me.

I started waxing myself when the pandemic hit and recently tried the VEET Sugar Wax Kit for my bikini area and legs. Overall, I really do love this product and would recommend! Pros: -It is going to save me lots of $$ being able to continue wax at home versus going somewhere to get it done.

-Feel like it works really well for my coarse hair and it seems to pick up a lot. -My skin is not necessarily sensitive but this doesn’t irritate my skin at all. -Very easy to clean up (this is very important especially when learning to use the kit).

Cons: -It took a while for me to get the hang of this and what consistency would be best when heating it up. I used up a lot of strips just figuring out how to use it. While this is likely operator error, I wish there were more strips included.

-I thought the temperature indicator would be really nice to have but it seemed a little off. Perhaps this is a safety feature of the product but I felt like I had to heat it up beyond the indicator.

-The sugar wax doesn’t seem like it would work well on small and intricate areas like the upper lip or eyebrows. It seems like it is best suited for legs and bikini area.

When I shave I get really bad razor bumps so I thought I would switch over to waxing. When I saw the VEET Sugar Wax Hair Remover – Perfect for first time waxers ( which is what I am) Contains 12 Fabric Strips & 1 Spatula with a Temperature Indicator.

I absolutely love this kit. Being this is the first time I was waxing it made it kinda idiot proof. It comes with easy to understand directions and works great. You just heat up the wax, the temperature indicator is included, use the included spatula to spread the wax on the desired areas and place the pre cut cloth over it and pull in the opposite direction of your hair.

This wax is great bc it even gets hair that is not that long and pulls it out from the root, so your hair won’t grow back as fast as it would if you shaved. It smells great and i my razor bumps are gone.

I have sensitive skin so I thought maybe I would have some sort of bumps form the wax, but I didn’t!! Love this.

Great for removing facial hair, however, might not be suitable for sensitive skin. In my case, it causes redness and a bit swallen after using it. However it is very practical, easy and fast for waxing.

Make my skin shine and soft. What can I say more? I just love that 🧡🧡 Easy to use and a very good result

As an esthetician I didn’t have high expectations for these and I typically use a wax pot but I needed a quick solution and these were actually amazing. Super easy and quick to use and NO mess!! The only thing is that I wish the strips were bigger.

The wax consistently delaminates fm the clear sheets. Not only to the other side of the sheet, But also on your skin, even after warming it in your hands. Wax also isn’t the right consistency to hold hair & pull it out so takes several passes to work.

I’ve been self waxing for many years- tried many different methods and products. I use these strips with my favorite wax. Best wax strips. Grabs all the hair and less painful somehow. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been at home waxing for years… these are by far the best waxing strips ever. Somehow, they reduce the pain. And it grabs everything. Wish I found these way sooner.

This product comes as its shown in the picture. Very nice. The clothes are a little thinner than expected but loved it! Recommended!

It’s not as good as a salon wax, but it’s so much cheaper. And it’s much less messy than normal wax – so it’s a win for me. I use it for underarm waxing and it’s not perfect, but with some tips I gleaned from others, it works pretty well.

Here’s what I found out. 1) Powder beforehand – some suggest baby powder, I use baking soda because I don’t have any baby powder. 2) Ice? Once the strip is on, sometimes I’ll actually ice the strip (not the wax side) to cool the wax so it “grips” better.

I’m not sure if it makes much of a difference, but I’ll do it anyway. 3) Be vicious with the removal – I can’t actually remove it fast enough so I asked my husband to do it for me. He’s much more vicious about it than me.

4) Oil on a paper towel – The soothing wipes they give are nice, but there aren’t very many. So I’ll put some cooking or olive oil on a paper towel and wipe with that instead. I’m sure there are better oils out there, but I don’t have any coconut or whatever oils at home.

5) Tweeze the remainder – I’ll have a few stray strains which I need to tweeze at the end, but overall it’s much better than prior to waxing. I’m still contemplating laserhair removal so I don’t need to keep doing this, but it’s a good idea for now.

I bought this product from a Target a while back and loved it! It was so convenient to use and didn’t require any heat or anything like that. Every strip came apart pretty easily and took out a decent amount of hair.

I was able to use the wax strips on multiple parts of my body and made the package last several weeks. I ordered off Amazon to save a trip to the store, but this time, the strips were terrible! They didn’t pull apart the way they were supposed to (each strip should have a full coat of wax on it when pulled apart), and it wasn’t just one strip that was like this.

It was almost the whole box! And this item isn’t eligible for return, so I just had to throw it out. Really disappointed!.

I thought I would save myself the time of having to shave every week if I waxed my legs. It ended up being a lot more work than I was anticipating, and being just me, it was tricky trying to contort around myself to ensure I got all areas of my legs.

The wax strips were self explanatory on the box but I had a few that did not peel apart as evenly as they could and I felt that thay effected the adherence as I had to go over that section again. I thought waxing would leave me smooth and beautiful but these ended up breaking out my legs with little red specks which eventually grew into ingrown hairs.

This could be awesome for others I think as long as they’re not sensitive to the materials. It gave me more time inbetween shaving but overall I would not invest in again, was not worth the irritation for me.

i LOVE the size of these. i was previously using the flamingo wax kit, and would have to cut all the strips in half, but these make it a bit easier! The wax is weaker than others i’ve used, but I used to rip off my skin every time i used other brands.

i just tweeze off the leftover hair, and i don’t have to worry about redness or inflammation the next day with these. these leave less wax residue on my face, but just like other wax kits, i wish there were more wax removal cloths!.

Bought these because of the positive reviews. But I just used them and it didn’t really work. I’ll finish the box to see how I like them but I guess my mustache is just too fierce lol. I need something stronger.

And I wish the strips were a little bigger so it could reach more under my nose. It didn’t hurt too much and the wipes get all of the wax off and smell great too. But I think I’m going to need larger and more industrial wax strips lol.

I also bought the eyebrow ones when I think will be more successful.

I think it works a lot better than other facial strips, if you’ve got some thickerish whiskers, just use the edge of them to clean it up. I will be repurchasing these as long as target Carrie’s them!

I’ve been using this wax for 3 years and never had a bad experience with it. I typically use this wax for brows, lip, legs and clean up after a Brazilian wax. Beautiful results every single time

This wax is amazing, and far superior than Gigi honey wax. It applies and adheres to skin so smoothly and pulls hair off with no pulling of skin. This will be my new number one go to for any non roll on waxing.

This is my second time purchasing this natural soft wax and is my favorite so far. To my surprise, it was very little pain with minimal discomfort and very little redness!

This product is a complete game changer! They aret joking by claiming 2 minute brows and ease of use! These are SO easy to use, and my eyebrows are always absolutely perfevt after I do! Originally I thought my brows needed to be done as I had never done them with wax, just plucking. These were so so simple, and yet effective! As a first time waxer, this was no where near as bad as I thought it would be.

Pain was almost non-existent, and it preshapes brows!.

I tried these and thought they were great. I wish they sold them at my local store or on line. At first I was confused how to use them but now I love them. I will buy 2 boxes next time. My brows are thick and grow quickly.

These were great for what I needed them for. My Daughter was born with a 3rd eyebrow right almost directly to her right eyebrow now that she’s almost 13 you can now notice it because she wears her hair pulled up back with a hair tie or whatever she’s embarrassed by it.
