20 Best Wax For Travel Trailer (2023 Updated)

Had used many polish and waxing products over fifty years of boating, but Pro Polish used with Shurholds eccentric polisher / buffer creates the longest lasting full boating season shine that I’ve experienced.

Easily removes mild oxidation and leaves a brilliant shine on the hull of my black and white SeaRay Sundeck. My 18 year old boat looks new every year.

I had not used Pro Polish in several years and was in a situation where I needed to wax my boat outside, in the sun. I contacted Shurhold and they let me know that I could safely use Pro Polish in the sun, and that it may dry a little faster and that I should probably work in smaller areas.

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed using this product as a final finish. It goes on smoothly and is super easy to remove. Also nice that you don’t get any powdery residue. Not sure why I stopped using it, but it’s my go to wax from here on.

I first bought this for $15 in the store size spray bottle. I read about its uses online and then put it through the test. I drove part-time Uber/Lyft Suv Lux. I maintain my own cars and it’s a pain carrying around several different spray bottles, one for the dash, one for the leather, tires, exterior plastics when you are a perfectionist in keeping your car in brand new shape.

With that in mind, I also read about the uses on serpentine belts, all of the tires, sidewalls and tread, soft rubber door seals. I tried it on everything. After I bought the small bottle, I bought two gallons on Zoro and they lasted me over 3 years ( well worth it).

The end result of a 2016 Tahoe Lt with 72,000 miles on it ( 3 years at this point which I bought brand one-year, I know I’m repeating myself) and it still looks like new. As I rotated the tires, I sprayed this stuff on the tread, sidewalls (factory junk Uniroyals got close to 60,000 miles on them).

I have sprayed the door seals, no cracks and still supple. All the interior vinyl and leather as new. I even sprayed the serpentine belt in the engine ( difficult to due properly since I didnt take it off and you need to get it on top and the bottom) but it still looks brand new with no wear in any manner.

You can throw away 4-5 products and just buy one. I cant tell you how many compliments I get despite having over 600 plus rides including my own family trips and abuse of this SUV. I have seen plenty of other same year Tahoes and Suburbans and the interior looks nothing like mine.

My only complaint. there is no company that makes a decent chemical resistant spray bottle. I even buy the heavy duty ones and they all leak after several months of use. Too bad 303 didn’t make a bottle as good as the product.

Shake the gallon real good before refilling your spray bottle and shake the spray bottle before use also.

Learned of 303 Aerospace when researching dry rot after 5 yr old tires (car not garaged) wouldn’t pass inspection because of cracks in the treads. Numerous more knowledgeable sites I found recommended 303 and talked about how many of the well known silicone products were actually bad for rubber and some could accelerate dry rot.

I don’t use the silicone products because hate the slick, shiny, greasy-feeling surface they leave. 303 leaves a surface finish that looks rich, conditioned, not shiny, newer than before. I’ve used on car tires, plastic/vinyl car trim, plastic planters, plastic outdoor chairs, certain painted lawn decor.

After use, surfaces are much easier to clean, ex. used to have to use mild abrasive cleanser to get marks off plastic lawn chairs. UV protection important for outdoor plastics and rubber. Wish could find 303 in local stores, will keep sending away for in the meantime.

I have been using 303 Aerospace Protectant on my boat vinyl ever since discovering it in the hot tub community where it’s used to keep covers looking good. It does a great job keeping vinyl looking new.

I’ve used it on 5 boats now in the last 20 years, and the oldest one is nearly 30 years old. The vinyl still looks very good. Highly recommend!.

Did you know? With 10. 5 inches of wet snow, I thought it would be too much for my snowblower to push the snow through the chute and throw it clear of the driveway. I purchased this product at an auto parts store (first time I have done that with a Griot product) and I was very underwhelmed. A first for a Griot product. It’s supposed to be spray on and wipe off.

Nope. I left “dark” areas like the old carnauba wax would when you wiped it off and were you hadn’t evenly spread the wax. There are other easier to use much more forgiving and every bit as shine producing and lasting as this product.

Guess everyone has to have at least one clunker and this is it for Griot.

This is the easiest to apply wax I’ve ever come across. And it has great shine! I use it every time I wash the car, just a light spray. Not much extra work as you spray it on before you dry, then just dry the car as you normally would.

And the shine/protection easily lasts until the next time you wash your car (probably longer, but why bother – it’s so easy to use every time).

I’ve been RVing since I was a kid. My mom and dad started us with a pop up camper and moved to the Class A. I’ve personally had 5 different RVs. 3 Class C’s and 2 Class A’s. In all of them I used the “Blue/Green” chemical and they seemed to work well.

I’ve recently been introduced to the Unique products and decided to give them a try. I can honestly say that the Unique treatment, dissolves waste much better than anything else I’ve ever used. It’s very noticeable when you flush your tank.

We have been using Unique for almost 3 years now and wouldn’t use anything else! Being full time RVers, two bathrooms and only two of us, there are times while stationary we dump our black tanks every 2 weeks and Unique has not let us down yet.

In extreme heat, we add the Unique Tank Odor Pods. These work fantastic in the grey tanks as well, dissolve in a glass of water and pour down the sink or shower while grey tanks are closed. I leave them closed so Unique has time to work usually until they are full.

Fill your toilet bowl half way with water and Simply toss pod into the bowl and allow the pod to dissolve. Flush and your done! 5 days in, no odor. Dump holding tank and repeat process for maximum efficiency.

Totally eliminated odor from nearly full black tank. Use tank flush if equipped for maximum tank cleansing. Best holding tank treatment available by far!!.

I have been using this product all plastic, rubber, vinyl and leather in my cars for about 1. 5 years. I really like that it is not really shiny which helps reduce the reflection on my windshield from the dash.

It also does not have a greasy feel and does not attract dust like other dressings I have used in the past. Living in Arizona, dust happens and this has kept clean better than anything else I have ever tried.

Living in a hot climate, rubber quickly deteriorates so I use 303 everywhere on my vehicles, to include all of the hoses in the engine bay and door seals. I have noticed a huge difference in the way this protectant keeps whatever is applied to from drying out as opposed dressings that sit on the surface and quickly fade away.

Obviously I really like the product but my only criticism is the bottle on the 32oz vs the 16oz. The plastic used for the 32oz bottle is very thin and leaks and the sprayer leaks a little when being used.

The 16oz bottle was not as thin and didn’t leak at all. But I like the product enough to buy a better quality sprayer and just fill that instead. After reading the negative effects that tire shine has, I started using 303 on my tires as well.

With tire shine products, I would always get splatter once the vehicle was driven so I started wiping them down after the application. It helped with the splatter but always ended up with a blotchy look and were quickly covered in road grime.

With 303, I still wipe the tires down after a few mins but there is no blotchiness. My tires also end up not being shiny but have a clean, deep black look much like when they were brand new. I have also noticed that it seems to clean as well.

I sprayed some on my all terrain tires after car wash which see a lot of dirt road/ off road use and it seemed to pull the dirt out of the tire. When applied the liquid was milk white but after a few mins it was more of an eggnog color.

I’ve tried most of the competitors products, with mixed results. Some are impossibly slippery, slimy, or dull right out of the bottle. Others seem to leave a undesirable high gloss finish that makes the vehicle look cheap.

This product seems to meet all expectations, and in most cases exceeds them. The attached photos show the before and after. The first two are the grill in front of the windshield. The left is before, it looks dry and the next one is the after.

The following pictures, is of the passenger side rear view mirror. The first picture is dry the second picture is 50/50 use of the product. The last pictures show the finished mirror and a close up for a more detailed inspection.

Edit 07/19/18 – attached more pics of my new 2018 f150. The grill , from the factory, looked awful. There was some white film on the honeycomb grill. You can see the effect of the 303 on a vehicle only 3 weeks old, it’s not just for weather beaten mirrors.

The first 3 pics are before, next 4 are after 303. I’ve since used it on wipers, which proved to be awesome, and door moldings with equally agreeable results. Can make no claims on longevity, however, so far I feel it certainly has meet my expectations, A little more pricey than off-the-shelf products, but in my opinion worth the up charge.

I have used Armorall for 40 years and did not know that it had so many poor quantities until I noticed my tires turning brown and my tonneau cover graying quickly. Today was my first time using 303 protectant: it went on a lot easier than Armorall, did not streak, and covered uniformaly.

The color on the black surfaces was dark when finished. I applied to the grill chrome and it even removed old bugs easily. If you are looking for a glossy finish, then this is not for you. But knowing that it is better for surfaces than Armorall makes it a good trade off.

After many years of falling for various marketing BS on all sorts of waxes I decided to give 476S a try. I originally used it on my MINI GP (Silver Roof with Thunder Grey bodywork) and the results were simply stunning.

The GP had never looked so shiny and the beading was awesome. I now also own an R59 JCW MINI Roadster (White Silver) and the metallic paint just pops in the sunlight. I machined polished in July 2019, applied 3 coats of 476S to it and the shine, and beading, is still going strong 15 months later.

Just for info my Roadster is not a garage Queen and is parked outside 24/7. There is just no need to buy any other wax in my opinion. Easy on, easy off, stunning protection and the shine is blinding and very long lasting.

Easy to apply and more importantly easy to wipe and buff when dry. Lasts ages and gives great beading. You only need a small amount so the tin lasts ages. Great value. Recommended.

I buy BOS spray wax and Speed Shine by the gallon and use my own spray bottles. Very economical. Its summer and too hot to work outdoors on my cars. So I used BOS spray wax late in the summer day until it cools off this Fall for my strip, compound and finish.

It really pops. Now my cars are protected until the real work in the Fall. I plan to supplement at least once a month with BOS spray wax, and Speed Shine in between. All my neighbors say they look like they just came off the showroom floor.

And its all done very quickly with no perspiration :).

“Best of Show Spray Wax” has excellent results when used properly. The surface has to be clean and previously waxed. Amazingly Best of Show Spray Wax has prevented water spots from forming on my Jet Black TESLA surface after rain and drizzle has dried when wax alone or wax with additional spray wax did not do the trick.

I am also impressed with the slipperyness of the paint surface after an application. It seems to also work well on clean glass and chrome. It is also used as the last step when cleaning and waxing your painted and/or polished wheels.

Warm or hot surfaces come out well when done in small sections. Two microfiber rags are always needed when using this product. One rag is usesed specifically for buffing the surface after spreading the product with the other rag.

I received the gallon of it frozen solid! Which means now it’s watered down! They say not get any of your products frozen because it will Dilute the product and won’t work great. The product didn’t look right even after I thawed it out and shook it up.

Trying to get ahold of someone from Ethos is like trying to get ahold of the president of the United States not even joking. I was a huge fan of Ethos but recently I have put them at the bottom of the list and most likely going to go back go Adam’s Polishes at least they actually care about there customer and you can actually talk to the owner.

This product is just a detail spray with ceramic in it nothing crazy tbh. I also have a gallon of resist an I have cleaned my whole truck then put that on it then pro shine and after a snow storm an all the salt it was like there was nothing even put of my truck sooo I dunno! Listen people I am real world guy who works a 6-5 job doing construction and travels 110 miles a day for work an back home soo my truck is pushed to the limits of the elements and I CONSTANTLY clean my truck an use Ethos ceramic shampoo and resist and pro shine and it usually only lasts when it rains or snows maybe 2-3 days that’s it.

They claim resist works for months but let’s be honest they are in Cali where it never rains and doesn’t snow. I am from New England and I am blue color guy who works 5 days a week and drives 110 miles a day from my house to work an work to back home, we are in winter and it snows every other day and rains constantly! Buy what you want but I think Adam’s Polishes is way better then Ethos and there Adam’s polish actually had a PHONE NUMBER for customer service! Sooo belive what you want but I have had nothing but problems with Ethos products and with there customer service.

but what do I know right?.

I’ve been a detailing nut since the 70’s and have seen the progression of products throughout the years get better and better and this product brings it up a level. I have used detail sprays from several different companies with varying results.

The Ethos Pro Shine provides a depth of gloss that no other detail spray I have used comes close. Additionally the product wipes off exceptionally clear with no visible smearing or streaking. Really impressed.

One of my cars is light color and the other dark and both come out great with the Pro Shine. In the past I had to use one type of detail spray on my dark car to keep it from smearing. but not anymore.

I was turned on to the Ethos product line by a friend of mine and was hesitant to try as I had not heard much about the company. The first product I tried was the Ceramic wax and had great results. super easy to apply and remove with fantastic gloss and durability.

I am not a professional but a high level enthusiast that really enjoys paint correcting, polishing and waxing with my equipment. and in between cleaning is very important to me. this is where the Pro Shine is now my detail spray of choice.

Highly recommended.

I power wash/rinse the car. apply defy to clean then top it off with pro shine. I spray 1-2 squirts onto a towel, then wiped on. Like most ethos products, it disappears immediately. I still use a new towel to wipe dry the product off the car.

When using the 2nd dry towel, you will feel the smoothness. I even used it on the wheels and it shines as in the photo shows. There was water dripping from the side mirror and I can see that hydrophobic from this product.

Great topper.

I usually put down a lighter basecoat first (especially if it’s the first time waxing the board) this reduces the slippery surface of the board, then follow up with harder strokes in heavy use areas.

Sticky bumps provides a “dry-er” tack surface than some of the other board waxes. Sticky bumps also out lasts other waxes I’ve tried for repeated rides. All around, this is a great performing wax to provide hold and grip on the board.

(The scent is pretty nice as well).

I’m a cynic in nature. Several people had mentioned this set but I’m not an easy sell. I finally bit the bullet and i am glad i did! Start with a SMALL amount of shampoo! I accidentally used way more shampoo than necessary lol.

It took a good 10min to wash all the suds out of my hair. The conditioner is just as concentrated so start with only a small amount. The first time i used it, i had used the bond repair in my hair dye and washed with the set.

After i washed it out of my hair i initially thought it felt a little heavy. But once i dried my hair it was so like and airy and my normal frizzies were smoothed out!! I do use CHI heat protector before i dry and straighten my hair.

But i was able to skip my usual Aveda split end treatment. I can’t wait to wash and dry my hair today! I looked like i went to a salon, that’s how soft, silky, smooth my hair looked!! I will be alternating with my Redken clarifying shampoo tho so that my scalp doesn’t get used to this stuff and loose its benefits.

I have done a lot of research and this product is the best I’ve used to clean my black Tesla. It will not leave any film behind. I simple power wash, then attach any foam attachment with 50/50 mix and let soak and wipe down with microfiber hand glove, and rinse.

I then use my 40V leave plower to blow dry the car. Takes me 1 hour total including set up and tear down. Love it!! I have have my car for almost one year and I do not have a sindle swirl mark any where.

So far so good.

Previously I use many different types of spray on wax like Turtle Wax mothers meguiar. They all did good job. The many reasons I stop using the other brands was because seems like everytime the bottle was getting smaller and the price was going up.

I discovered Lucas spray wax my first thoughts was definitely a great value for the price of how much you get from other top brands and how easy it gose on and how well it makes the paint shine plus the wax has UV protection which is nice I haven’t seen to many there spray wax have uv protection.

This is the best and easiest auto wax! It lasts long too! I wouldn’t bother writing a review but I will share for the good of all my brothers and sisters out there. I believe in this one! A friend who runs our auto lab at SB college recommended it! he was right! It’s so much better than the other usual waxes both paste and spays I’ve tried.
