20 Best Waterproof Work Boots Women’S (2023 Updated)

These are cute boots. I got them in the purple-ish Marlin color, and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them. The durability and comfort are okay, not top-notch. The included insole is very thin and soft.

As shown in attached pictures, these boots are STUPID small and tight. I ordered size 7. 5 wide. They are significantly narrower than size 8 regular width Keens. There isn’t enough space to use custom insoles, as the boots became uncomfortably tight when I tried.

My first pair of these lasted me a full year. Actually a little over a year. Which as a welder working twelve hour shifts is crazy long. Even the waterproofing held up for a year. They have cushion and support.

I have wide feet and usually have to order boots larger than my actual size to accommodate that. I love that I didn’t have to with these. The wide fit was perfect for me. Even the breaking in process was painless.

I’m now on my second pair. I will never buy another steel toe boot again.

These boots are top notch in this price range. I have tried everything and recently bought a brand new pair of Red Wing mic toe boots and can’t wear them after being spoiled by these boots for the last few years.

These boots are sprite in every way. The comfort is next level (I upgrade the insoles to the keen high arch outdoor) the durability is great (I work in construction) and the waterproofing has never failed me.

I had a pair I bought the other day that had a defect that Was causing me pain and the customer service was fantastic. My problem was addressed and the m they had a new pair in the way immediately. They have earned a costumer for life.

The price hike was disappointing but if you buy them every year just grab them on a sale like I did this time. Cannot emphasize how much I love these boots. If you have wide Feet and try these, you will be happy you did.

Industrial Electrician working In a range of environments. The boots are oh so comfortable, like most keen products out of the box comfort is A plus. I’ve been wearing these for about 9 months now, they haven’t packed out at all, still fit very true, which is my biggest complaint of other brands, they pack out too much.

The soft leather Toe caps don’t hold up/ not surprisingly. But now I’m having separation of the sole at the Toe. Not too impressed by this. They are a very comfortable boot that looks great. But I usually see two years out of a good boot before I start to see it failing.

At this price point I would expect more. I do appreciate the half sizes. All in all. Buy for comfort and you’ll be happy. If you have boots that already last you two years or more maybe stick with those.

I’ve worn these for 6 months daily on the jobsite. I have been very impressed with them overall. I purchased these knowing I can replace the soles/tread once they wear out as it has the goodyear welt.

However, after 6 months of use, I am already burning through the rubber in the heel and am starting to see the white midsole. I do admittedly sometimes heel drag, but even still. They should last longer in my opinion.

I have worn these in -30C and +30C (Alberta) and they have held up well in both the heat and the cold. The uppers have ben excellent, kept my feet dry and had no issues wearing them in. Again, the only gripe I have with them is the rubber soles wearing out too quickly.

Ive has these for a week now. I work in a kennel and deal with a lot of water to clean them as well as concrete and tile. I love that i dont slip in these boots on wet tile like other similar boots. They are flexable with is amazing because ive had boots split where they bend when squating.

My feet also didnt hurt nearly as much as they normally would in a pair of new boots worn all day long. They were a little tight at first but the leather loosened up quickly and they are very comfortable.

I also love that the sole is sewn on, with extra on the toes to ensure it wont come off, ots also a thick sole so i dont have to worry about them wearing out fast. My only complaint is that they are meant to be water proof but my feet are still getting wet.

Im going to try sealing them with an oil and hopefully that will fix it. Id suggest getting the next size up with boots (you wear size 8 1/2, id get 9). I gave 4 stars because the water is a major thing in my job and it is extremely unpleasant to work 8 hrs or more with wet feet, but otherwise the boots are amazing.

This is my second pair and the first pair have held up really well. The only reason they dont get a 5 star is because around the 8-9 hour mark on concrete floors my feet tend to get sore. I have had other boots that last between 10 and 12 hours before my feet get sore.

Over all a good boot. If I’m sitting at a desk or operating heavy equipment off and on during the day my feet are great in these boots. They could use a better cushioning system. I have talked with younger guys that dont have this issue, but they are in their twenty’s.

I could wear concrete shoes in my twenty’s without complaint.

Have worn Muck Boots almost every single day for roughly the last four years, for work in kennels, dog walking, nipping to the shops, really just about everything. I’ve had a few pairs in that time as I do really put them through their paces – they tend to last around a year to eighteen months before getting a hole either in the upper or the sole, which I think is fair enough given the abuse they take! As my current pair, in the ‘Tack’ style, have become too holey for any kind of damp/wet weather, I decided to get a new pair.

I usually go for the Tack, which is no longer available, or the Hale, which unfortunately was out of stock in every colour in a size 3. Becoming desperate, I decided to spend a little more and order the Chore.

When they arrived I was pleased, they look good quality and are a bit more sturdy than my previous styles. When I put them on, they felt ever so slightly tight but that is normal with a new pair and I expected that with a little wear they would stretch like all my previous pairs have, so foolishly I decided to go outside and do some work to wear them in a bit.

I took them off after an hour and had lost all sensation in my toes – they almost seemed to have got tighter rather than looser! I don’t really want to continue wearing them because I’m concerned that they might damage my feet.

I did realise that I shouldn’t be eligible to return them as I had worn them, but hoped that customer service might at least offer some form of alternative if I explain that I had had several perfect-fitting pairs of Muck Boots in the past, all the same size as this pair, and that I can’t really afford to buy yet another pair at the price (finances having been hard hit by Covid), but that I need boots for working.

Unfortunately I was just asked if I had checked the size guide on the website (I had, I have a 22cm foot so a size 3, not that I should need to as all their styles should fit the same and all my previous Muck Boots have been size 3), and then told that they can’t accept returns of worn items.

With a clean up they’d be almost like new. Now left with a choice between wearing ill-fitting shoes and potentially hurting my feet, wearing my old leaky ones, or spending money that we don’t really have for another new pair.

A shame as I’ve always been so impressed with my Muck Boots and can’t find much else like them.

I received these as a gift for when I want to do some casual fly fishing in the creek by our house. I wore them on day one and was in the water for only a short time before hiking upstream to try a few different spots from the bank.

On day two I wore them in the creek again, which was about 8 inches deep. Before long I noticed my left sock was soggy. A short while later my right sock was soggy. When I got home I confirmed both boots where wet inside.

When I held the boot up and pointed the toe at the ground, water started coming out of the seam where the rubber half-circle on the heal meets the sole of the boot. This leak was present on both boots, and on both sides of each boot.

Muck boots have a great reputation so this is probably an isolated issue, but it is still an issue. I hope this review helps them identify what went wrong during manufacturing so they can fix it and save future customers from the hassle of wet feet and extra trips to the store.

These work amazing (when they work) and are comfortable in muddy, water filled conditions. Not cold either. Issue is that you have to make sure they are 100% waterproof. I HIGHLY recommend trying them on then test them in water up pass the seams with the soles.

Just cover up your entire foot then rotate, flex and bend as you would in uneven ground. If you feel any micro leaks then they’re probably going to be bad. I used my first pair live in a stream and I had occasional leaks (just a drop or two, so very small leaks) when moving through mud.

It happened more often on my left boot than my right. Mind, my socks never got soaked but you can’t mistaken the kiss of water on your socks so I got through the day just fine. If you don’t test/use it in similar conditions (lots of water) you probably won’t ever notice this.

Since these are advertised as 100% waterproof then they better be and it’s price. My first use was 99. 99% waterproof at best. At the very least, these micro leaks hints at where the boots will fail at and which one will fail first.

Hopefully this is a fluke since the boots are great otherwise. I got a replacement incoming so hopes it goes well. Edit: Replacement pair went through a bucket test with me flexing my feet without any lick of water.

The first pair was like within 5-10 minutes of me feeling it without the amount of flexing I did with the test pair to get any hints of water. I’m going to keep the review as a three star due to the need to even test my purchase.

I’ll update if this fails too.

The Timberland 6 Inch Premium Boots are fashionably stunning to me. The specific boots that I like are red and are not too plain and not too over the top. One special thing about the boots that stand out to me would be the red and black checked pattern inside the boots.

There are many other features to the boots that might stand out to others. The top of the boots are padded with red leather. There is an extra pair of red shoe strings on both pairs of boots. For a tip on any pair of Timberland 6 Inch Premium Boots, there should be a Timberland logo hanging on the right side of the boot on one of the top eyes.

Another tip on if they are real is on the boot of the shoe there should be small plus signs going down the middle of the shoe. These shoes are very durable since I had them for a year now. My shoes are still holding up and I know they hold up for the winter which is when I really need them.

Timberland boots are good for walking in low or high snow in my experience and opinion with them. Some of the problems that I have with these shoes are that they have no traction on ice. These boots are harder to run in since they are not athletic shoes.

I also use my shoes for work and they are not a great choice for work because the floors are slippery and the boots have no traction. My dad doesn’t use the same pair as me for work but he does wear Timberlands for work.

If you are looking for work boots then you might want to look for some other shoes that are different from the Timberland 6 Inch Premium Boots. Wearing these shoes will hurt for a long period of time and may be hard on the feet depending on the padding at the bottom of the shoe.

I wear these shoes just about everyday and my feet do hurt a little from excessive wearing so I wouldn’t recommend wearing them so much. These boots are loud when walking on hardwood floors. If you have strong ankles and legs then you might not have a problem with doing a little more activities.

I like to dance in these boots and they hold up very well and look good when you do. Overall I would recommend these shoes to anyone. I feel that everyone needs a pair of Timberland 6 Inch Premium Boots in their lives.

They are stylish and durable and are worth the price that they are. If you are thinking about buying a christmas present for anyone and don’t know what to get someone get them a pair of TImberlands. Who doesn’t like a new pair of stylish shoes because I know I do.

I love the Timberland brand. You can always guarantee you’ll find fashionable, functional footwear that’ll last a future. Whenever I’m in the market for a stylish, quality pair of boots Timberland is usually at the top of my list.

I have Timberland boots for 10+ years that are still in great condition. When I needed a quick pair of steel-toe boots for work I immediately checked Timberland. These work boots are comfortable, despite being steel-toe and I wear them all day.

They have a lot of room so feet can breathe. If you are between sizes, always go a 1/2 size up. They look like the standard boots and had it not been for the label, you wouldn’t even know they were safety shoes.

I always get compliments on my boots when I wear them and often get asked if I’m from upstate. Overall, highly recommended. If you’re in the market for safety boots, consider Timberland.

I give the boot a overall 3 stars. I feel like they’re not completely honest with the durability of these boots. At first they’re good but these aren’t even a year old and they already been cracked for a few months, haven’t really cared since I live in Las Vegas and it doesn’t rain.

But already in search for new ones. However back to the point the boots are good for if you don’t believe you’ll need them that long, maybe 6 months thats around the time mine where cracking etc. But for the price I would’ve expected them to last longer at least a year.

My job isn’t even really that bizarre for the boots to be in this condition. If you need something temporary and have no other option why not but if you’re looking for something that you depend on and need to last look for something else worth the money.

Just my honest opinion but do as you wish with this information.

I have had these work shoes going on 2 months working as a greenskeeper and I can not be more pleased with these shoes. They are durable and the waterproof leather is exactly what I needed. On the Dewy mornings are the golf course my feet stay 100% dry always.

They are a little lighter than boots which I love. They do take a little while to get broken in, but once they are broken in they are wonderful work shoes. I would absolutely buy these again.

I don’t normally like Tim’s because I feel like there uncomfortable. Normally I go with Carolinas for my work boots but I tried these on because they didn’t have my normal selection in my size and I loved them.

They are the most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn. I work on average 84 hours a week and get my boots wet constantly and they are very comfortable and no water gets in, These are gonna be my go to for now on.

I returned a pair of Irish Setter Ashby from same store since after 70 days since thin bottom sole started coming off and bought these instead. Now less than 14 days later the outer sole of these boots are terribly soft and will not hold up to any kind of work whether it be shoveling (as in using your feet to dig the shovel into soil, literally only edging some sod along a curb as created course in sole).

Otherwise the boot is comfortable and the inner sole with the Carhartt logos seem to be holding up just fine. I’m not to rough on my boots, how rough can ya be when you work on a golf course and mainly mow turf but there are times when using a shovel is part of your job.

Lastly the Ashby’s I mentioned earlier didn’t have the gouging issue after 3 times as much shoveling work.

Got these for my husband last year for Christmas and ge Loves them. In his own words, “the best boots ge has ever owned and will always repurchase them”. They hold up great, extremely comfortable and yes water proof.

We live where it snows often and allot, he is constantly I the weather and they have held up great. he keeps them wiped down and that’s that. We just ordered another pair in the dark brown, excited! Well worth the money.

I bought the pair of black Carhartt boots for my wife. She had wanted the for awhile but I couldn’t locate them anywhere in her size. I was delighted to find them on the Moosejaw site which I happened to find out of pure chance.

I had never heard of Moosejaw and after searching through the entire supply of different manufacturers – not only did I find the boots for my wife but I found a number of things I had also been searching for but unable to find.

I will be a future Moosejaw customer, the styles, sizes, and selection of such a wide variety of items will bring me to this website before I search any others for the products I need.

The shoe meets size requirements. The fit could be improved. The top of the foot fit is a bit lacking, the tongue is too thin and allows for the laces to cut into the top of the foot. I also find it hard to tighten the boot around the ankle because the tongue restricts the side from closing.

The oversized leather label on the tongue restricts movement. So my ankle does not feel as supported as I would like it to be.

Bought these for work in the Pacific Northwest. Wet and cold all winter. Bought them a size large so I could wear extra socks. They arrived fast! They were very tight! Sent them back planning to order again.

Took a long time to get my return processed. Decided to buy next pair elsewhere.

I originally bought a steel toe version of these boots in October of 2019 because they stated that they were waterproof on the box, and decided to give them a shot. That pair of boots lasted about a year before the seam above the back of the heel ripped(probably due to my own negligence) and because they are so comfortable, and they hold up true to their label, I wanted another pair but decided to get the composite toe version.

Holy hell, what an upgrade! They’re so comfortable, and so dry, they feel like a hug to my feet. My only problem, is that the steel toe ones didn’t last longer.

I bought these about a month ago and im not easy on my work boots. So far they are proven waterproof in 3 inches. Bend nails when stepped on off of a ladder, an are comfy to boot. haha I paid 170 for Caterpillar boots from Amazon and the soles were peeling within a week.

So I give these 5 stars! Great price and a great pair of boots!.

Great shoe! Got me through a 6 mile, 1800 ft. elevation hike without being broken in. I have weird sized feet and don’t like to buy online, but I got Avenger work boots that always fit so I tried this.

It did show up a little bit too big. I plan to double up on socks to accommodate. Great shoe, great value, you should probably leave enough time to return for a new size if you aren’t 100% about this brand.

I’ve been breaking them in a bit around the house. Now wearing them to work for the first day today. So far so good. Very comfortable. Still stylish & not too bulky at all for a puncture resistant option! The non-slip/oil-resistance worked great today on our very oily floor environment.

Second pair I have owned. After years they are finally starting to wear out at the heels but the rest of the boot is in great shape, still comfortable and waterproof. Happy to find out they still make the some model I originally had.

I bought these boots for work. I am a dishwasher and my shoes are constantly covered in water. They help my feet stay dry and are incredibly comfortable. They are also non-slip which makes them that much better because I needed to make sure they were non-slip for working in a restaurant.

Overall they feet my feet well and are doing what they are supposed to do. I love these boots!.

This was a great buy and will definitely look into this company again when buying boots in the future. My only complaint was that the laces were frayed on my one boot. But otherwise got here extremely fast and the process was easy to get them.

I bought my first pair of Moab series a years ago. Was disappointed and agreed with other reviewers (that I didn’t head the warning) that most of the Moab series are mostly “water-resistant”. A stroll through early morning wet grass and socks and feet were soaked within a few minutes.

This is due to most of the Moab series having what appears to be a mesh material in between the leather strapping that wraps the sides and part of the top of the shoe. I like the look this design gives and the support it creates for wide feet that I have.

As for water proofing. Fail every time. Not sure how Merrell keeps most of the Moab series advertised as “waterproof”. Now for the Moab 2 Prime all leather. The mesh was replaced with full leather strips all the way around.

THIS makes it a sealed leather shoe/boot IMO. I have walked through puddles and even stood in some and my feet remained dry. Does this make the shoe not so breathable? Yes, and that is the point of an actual “waterproof” footwear.

I will say being a veteran and having worn a lot of boots. Even though it’s all leather with little breathability. My feet do not sweat in these boots like they do in others. I think this is due to the outstanding cushioning that makes up the inner side walls of the boot.

Very comfortable and I wear them a vast majority of the time as a person who has a career in the water and wastewater industry. However, when the going gets tuff, I switch to rubber boots with steel toe.

As is a reasonable act to do. The Moab 2 “all leather” is my everyday go to work/hiking boot for legitimate ‘WATERPROOF” footwear. Very durable and comfortable boot. Most definitely waterproof.

I have been wearing steal toed boots for 30 years, replacing them about every 2 years so I have worn my fair share of boots. I decided to try out the Merrell Moab Vertex as I have used there hiking boots and love them.

Well this boot is the worst boot I have ever worn, not comfortable, I have a constant blood blister on my middle toe but only on my left foot. Something is digging into my left heal, they are super super stiff.

The laces NEVER stay tied and I mean NEVER, once you do any unusual movement with your foot the laces are loose. the area around the ankle is so stiff you can not tighten the shoe enough to get ankle support with out causing major discomfort elsewhere in the foot.

My laces are pretty much destroyed and I have had the boots for 3 months now. I honestly can not find any positives about this boot. I have emailed customer support with no answer so Doubt I will be buying Merrell boots again.

If you are looking for steal toe work boots I would stay away from these lemons.

I ordered these boots literally the day after I bought a pair of the moab 2 waterproof hiking boots. My expectations were that these boots would essentially be a carbon copy with a composite toe and legal for me to wear at work.

They do not fit and feel like the moab 2’s so if that is what you are looking for sadly these boots are not the same. The moab 2 fits like a custom made shoe made from unicorn blood and fairy dust by far the most amazing foot wear that I have ever put on my feet.

After tearing a ligament in my foot the moab 2 was the only shoe I could walk in without a brace or being tightly wrapped. Now for the good if I had never experienced the moab 2 I would have given this boot a 5 star review and would have praised its comfort and build quality.

These are very nice boots but I was looking for a composite toe moab 2 and these just aren’t it. Would still recommend to just about anyone looking for a comfortable boot that you can work in all day and log a bunch of steps without your feet being sore (48,000 steps the past two days) these boots will do you very good just not as good as the moab 2.

I bought these boots thinking I’ll give it a go. Every womens work boot I have ever bought were clunky or were to big or way to small. Or felt like they made for a guy not a women But these. wow fit like they were made just for my feet.

Sooo comfortable. Not clunky at all. The cushion in the soles I could be on my feet all day working. Water proof I can stump around in the rain/puddle and have dry feet all day. Can’t wait until it snow to see how well insulated they are.

The steal toe is a plus. adds a little weight but hardly noticeable once you wear them for 10 seconds. The look of the boot is nice. not a bulky look. Slim/sleek looking like a womens boot. I definitely recommend them for any women looking for a good work boot.

Great boots. I’ve been wearing these for a couple weeks now. It only took a day or two to break them in. Wide width is a good fit for those of us who need it. I work around a lot of chemicals and oil, so I needed something that wasn’t going to slide around.

I haven’t had any issues with that. I highly recommend the boots, and I really like the way they look.

Love my Chippewa steel toe boots. I will never wear them out. I think that they are the best boots I have ever wore. I work with Disaster Relief clean up and work 12 hrs a day on my feet. My boots are the best investment for safety and comfort.

I think I have had my boots for about a month. I like that they are waterproof, safety toe, and slip resistant due to being an occ. Health nurse I need those. My last boots were ariats 7B and I have a high arch and they seemed a little snug after a long day.

I ordered these a 6C due to the others being to tight (and to big) going off the measurements I would wear a 6 for this boot. The boot fits measurement wise but the steal toe is snug on my toes. maybe a boot stretcher would help for that? Not sure first steal toes.

I’m so disappointed in this boot. I wanted to love it and thought that I would. But on the second day of wear, I found that the right side sole had become detached from the upper. I had already thrown out my old work boots or I would have returned them.

I had to keep and wear as I need proper foot wear for the work I do. Sole sad that I spent so much on them only to have such issues.

I’ve had trouble finding workbooks that fit my feet these are exactly what I needed. I normally wear a 9. 5 and am snug in the toes to the point of blisters. 9. 5 wide fits perfectly for my foot size, wish the heel was a little more narrow to avoid slipping, fixed that with some adhesive stick on pieces.

Comfortable even when I work 8hours 5days a week as an HVAC mechanic.

I work as an animal caregiver at an animal shelter. I do four 11 hour days a week in these boots. They get water, veterinary grade sanitizing foam, and dog mess on them all day. After about 8 months of all day everyday wear they finally got a small hole in the seam by my pinky toe which now allows water in.

Will be repurchasing. They are very comfortable easy to put on and the cushion is great. They also have a strip of light reflectivity material if you wanted to use them at night.

This is my 2nd pair of boots. As a farmer, these are worn at least twice daily (morning and evening tasks) and have held up for more than 2 years and just had to replace them! I’ve went through other name brands with a heftier price that didn’t last near as long.

I now have my father hooked on these boots also! As long as they keep making them, they will be my go to Farm boot!.

I was super excited when I saw these because they look just like the Romeo I90 EPX which I have and love. Unfortunately, women’s i90s are no longer sold through wolverine and seem to be discontinued.

Anyways, I ordered my usual size which is a 7. 5. They were too big even with my boot socks and I know if I ordered a smaller size they would be too tight of a fit. They don’t seem as comfortable as I was expecting from a wolverine boot.

The shaft is too wide for my personal preference so there was a substantial gap between the pull strap area and my ankle. These are just personal preferences as I like my boots to hug my feet and have gotten used to my I90 epx’s.

Sadly returned. I will say,however, the brown color on these is beautiful, they are lightweight and seem to have enough width for a wider foot as mine.

These are some really awesome boots!!! Not only do they slip-on easily, but they are of a nice weight. The leather is premium quality. I purchased these for my husband a half size bigger and they fit very well.

and he has a bit of room for his wool socks comfortably. They fit to size. Elastic on sides is heavy duty and should last.

As like the other reviews read, these shoes were almost a full size too big upon ordering, and one of the widest shoes I’ve tried on. I also had some manufacturer defects exactly the same as the other reviews photos shown.

Glue at the sole to the shoe is apparent and looks like it will delaminate in no time. Shoes were returned at a $5 cost to be due to their return policy.

I had been eyeing these boots and the Timberland Courmayeur Boots for awhile — they were both so cute, I just couldn’t decide which I wanted more! I ended up going with these since I wanted to use the boots for more everyday life, and I felt like the heel on the Courmayuer might have been too much for what I was personally looking for.

Since I live in Utah, I was excited to get these boots and test them out! I have been very impressed so far by how they handle the snow and the cold. The waterproofing and high ankle lets me walk my dog in snowy conditions and still keeps my feet and ankles warm and dry — I do recommend wearing long socks with these though! They were a little stiff when I got them and there was a brief break-in period, but since then they’ve been super comfy to wear for long periods of time.

Plus, they’re super cute and stylish, and I feel like they pull all my winter outfits together very nicely! I typically wear a size 7 street shoe, so that is what I ordered. The fit is true-to-size.

I bought these boots in black through the website after reading other reviews about how comfortable they are. I wanted an attractive pair of boots that I could actually walk around in for a full night without wanting to pull them off.

I bought my usual size, and they fit with thinner dress socks. I could see needing to go up a 1/2 or full size if you want to wear thicker socks in cold weather. I plan on spraying them with a water repellant before wearing outdoors to protect the nubuck leather.

I’ve had a regular pair of clunky Timberlands for 2 decades and they are still in good shape, so I expect these to do just as well. I adore boots, and look forward to the fall and winter just so that I can rock my boots! I am an avid boot wearer, but I must say that these are the best boots I own! I have these in Cognac, Black, and I just got a brown pair.

These are super cute, sexy, trendy, and most importantly comfortable!!!! I can literally work in these all day and my feet are good! I will forever love these Tims and will be wearing them for many, many years to come! I even bought my sister 2 pair.

This is a classic look that will never go out of style! I must say that I prefer the look of the Tilliston over the Allington but both are cute!.
