-most reviews state that the pump is “whisper quiet”; it is. Leaving nothing to chance though, I placed high density foam under and behind the unit. See photos. Any possible vibrations from the pump, that would be amplified by the kitchen cabinetry, are now absorbed by the foam.

The sound of the pump running, when tank needs to be periodically filled, is undetectable. – instructions state that if mounting/hanging unit, you should also support the three filter housings from the bottom in order to not have the water weight stress the filter canister threads.

I chose not to hang the unit. I simply placed the unit on my high density foam and it leans back nicely on another piece of foam behind it. – all colour coded interconnecting tubing was left full length so that when changing filters in the future, I can simply slide the unit out on to the kitchen floor with out disconnecting any of the tubing to Feed Water, Drain, Storage Tank and Faucet.

The 2 and 3 year filter replacement packs are similar in that they have enough filters to allow replacement of pre-filters every 6 months. They differ in that they each only have one replacement RO membrane rated for 2-3 years use.

It’s just the two of us, using city water, so we’ll go with the more cost effective 3 year supply of filters, replacing the RO membrane every 3 years. If your water is particularly dirty, you may be wise to buy the 2 year pack and replace your RO membrane every two years.

We bought this product a couple of months ago. The installation was fairly easy and the instructions were helpful. When we thought there was a problem with the uv light and/or the uv ballast, we started corresponding with iSpring in the USA.

To make a long story short, they were very helpful at troubleshooting and were quick to back their product and sent replacement parts promptly. The kicker is that after numerous attempts to make the UV system work properly, we discovered that we had an electrical fault at the plug we were using and there was nothing wrong with the product to begin with! Since the electrical problem was fixed, the water filtration system works beautifully.

If you’re worried about ordering an online only product like this because you think you won’t have descent warrantee service, don’t be dissolutioned. I’ve never in all me years had a company back their product warrantee with such friendly correspondence and commitment to resolving an issue that wasn’t even their doing.

I’m impressed to say the least. We’ve since offered to reimburse them for their losses caused by our faulty wiring and are waiting for a response. As for the water quality this unit provides, it’s very good.

This is the first time I write a product review in my life! I bought (twice) a 3-Stage under Counter Water Filtration System with Faucet in Brushed Nickel from Home Depot in December last year. Before I bought the first one, I did read the reviews and was a little bit worried when people talking about leaking issue.

I bought it anyway since I thought it was easy to install and maybe the people who reported leaking issue got the defect ones. I tried to install the system about a week after I got it. I watched the how-to-install-video online (provided by aquasana) and followed it.

Soon I found down the connector between the water line and the system (through the brass tee included) is not a good one. Water ran out since the pin (included) inserted into the tube could not stand for water pressure and got pushed out when I turn on the water valve.

I tried an hour or so before I brought the system back to Home Depot. A week later or so I decided to buy this product again since it was on sale and I thought ( again) maybe my first one was a defect one.

I installed it, the water still ran out at the same place as the first one. I played for a while and eventually I managed to make it stop leaking. However, the leak can come back easily anytime I accidentally touch the tube (which connects the water line to the system).

If it happened, I kept pushing it until it stop. Until last month, i heard some beep sounds, I knew that it’s time to replace the filters. But since I did not use the water much, maybe a few gallons at most per week, I thought it is OK to use it for a few more weeks.

Then suddenly it stopped working. No water comes out when turn on the faucet. I tried to fix but could not success. I contact the customer support and they said I need to replace the filters with no explanation why (I doubt that is the reason since I removed all the filters from the system and the water still did not come out).

Even worst now the leak at the connector keeps going back and I can’t manage to make it stop like before.

It has been a few weeks since I received the filter, and it has been a mixed bag so far. Installation has not been as easy as it seemed: like half of households, plumbing under my sink was 1/2 inch instead of 3/8.

Aquasana makes no mention of it on its website, and their customer service was clueless. An employee at Home Depot took pity of me and hooked me up with an adapter and new cable, so I was able to install the filter myself after a lot of time spent doing research myself (again, absolutely no troubleshooting or support provided by Aquasana for this very common situation).

After 2 weeks of happy usage of the filter, one of the cables detached on its own while I was out, resulting in a water leak of about 150 gallons in my kitchen floor. I finally resigned myself to hiring a professional plumber to do the work.

Several plumbers refused due to their insurance, some asked for a fortune, finally one came to do the install, and provided his own adapter for 1/2 to 3/8. To be frank, I am still anxious that the Aquasana cables (which are not attached but just pushed into the filter machine) are going to detach again, but I will give it a last chance before returning the machine.

I am just in disbelief that the company is unable to provide such basic information for installation, and doesn’t have a network of certified installers for those having difficulties. On a side note, the water tastes great and the flow is satisfactory for the needs of a water-drinking family of four.

We replaced an older AQ 4601 2 stage filter with an AQ 5200 2 stage filter today. The older unit was 8 years old and worked well until recently, springing a leak at the tubing joining the two filters at the bottom.

Parts to effect a repair were no longer available. The new unit has several differences. It appears that the procedure for changing filters is much easier, and the routing of water lines is simpler with a single line connecting to the dispensing faucet( the old unit had three lines) and a single supply line, making the installation much easier.

The new design faucet does not drip after the valve handle is shut off unlike with the older faucet which was a complaint by some in the past. Unfortunately, the new dispensing faucet is a much less substantial piece of hardware weighing about half or less compared to the old design and does not have the quality feel that is obvious in the older unit.

I am hopeful this new unit will be durable, resistant to leaks, and prove easy to replace filters, but would have preferred a more substantial dispensing faucet unit. Time will provide the answers.

A. O. Smith has been around for near 75 years. A very trusted plumbing fixture/ device manufacture. We opted for this filter from many different manufactures because of their involvement with the plumbing industry.

As a licensed plumber I am extremely familiar with A. O. Smith. Being in this industry since 1977 I am very familiar with just about any piping system. This model filter has one flaw. It comes with a type of “T” diverter that attaches to the fixture stop.

There are 4 connection. To the valve- to filter inlet- from filter to diverter- top out back to faucet. This fitting is plastic. It can very easily be stripped when attaching the faucet supply line to the “T”.

The female end threads onto the fixture stop. It is “never” a good idea to attach a female plastic fitting to a male brass fitting. These type of connections can put stress on the plastic and cause it to split either first thing if over tightened or possibly over time if under stress without warning in the future.

If this diverter fitting was made of brass I would give this product 5 stars across the board.

Installed 7 months ago. Initial filter leaked then and had to be replaced. Today I ran to Lowes 3 times trying to get one filter that did not leak. Poor manufacturing quality control. All 4 filters at lowes had cracked or bent plastic inlet nipples today.

I am very pleased with this under sink filter. It has freed up counter space as I no longer need to have a pitcher and don’t have to refill it. I always have clean water available for drinking and making ice, coffee, etc.

I’ve bought two of these filters over the past year, first the plastic one, then the chrome one. They have both failed in the same fashion. Water will begin leaking and spraying underneath the plastic collar that connects to the faucet.

This isn’t an issue with the seal with the faucet, the water comes from under the collar. At first I thought the problem was the rubber washer, but you can’t buy just a replacement, you have to buy an entire new unit.

So I did. The new unit failed after about 3 months of normal use. In an attempt to reduce the leak, I tried to tighten the collar a little bit more by hand, when I did this the plastic connector that holds the collar to the unit broke, and the entire thing snapped in two rendering it unusable.

Brita seems to have purposefully designed a system with weak parts at the point of highest stress, ensuring that their products will break quickly and you will be forced to purchase another. Very frustrating that I wasted my money on this company twice.

I purchased the faucet filter system for my new apartment. I didn’t want to refill a Brita pitcher everyday, but the tap water tasted awful without a filter. The system was a game changer for 8 months, but even after replacing the filters on time, the system no longer functions as smoothly.

The knob to turn from “filtered” to “unfiltered” was easy to switch for the first two weeks, but then it got very difficult to move the knob and it makes a creaking noise. After eight months the whole system started leaking.

When I run the tap, no matter what the knob is set to, water comes out of both holes. This means the water pressure is low when washing dishes, and it takes FOREVER to fill a glass of water. Will I be buying another one? Yeah.

Am I happy about it? No. I’m quite upset that I purchased such a large pack of replacement filters, because if I hadn’t I would definitely find a different system made by a different company.

I absolutely love this. Just got it today and its already the best thing I’ve ever bought. I live in a small town less than 2k population and the tap water here is dangerous to drink. You are strongly encouraged not to drink it when moving to town by everyone living here including those at the hospital.

Drinking the unboiled or filtered tap water has caused kidney damage in people in my town. This filter has finally allowed me to drink tap water for the first time in 4 years. You can very clearly taste the difference and I can’t see myself ever going back to buying bottled water again.

Pros for this dual flow water filtration system: Installation is pretty straightforward with basic tools and provided instructions. Helpful youtube videos are available for folks needing a visual reference.

(For your specific filtration needs I would recommend getting your city water report online, and cross checking that with GE to make sure this filter meets your needs. GE is pretty good about letting you know what this will and will not work for.

) Cons: Plastic parts. Specifically the plastic shut off switch. I can see that breaking after some time. This is a good product for someone needing filtered water, who doesn’t want to deal with the hassle of a separate water filter.

It installs and works quickly. I like not having to store a separate water container. For the price I would have preferred something without plastic valves.

I’ve been using the GE High Flow Filtration System for a couple weeks now and I love it! I was nervous at first about doing the self install because of the different piping and pieces that came in the box but it couldn’t have been easier to install! If you can drill a hole and follow directions you can install this yourself in an hour or less.

The directions are easy to follow and don’t assume you know what your doing and they don’t leave out easy steps to save money. Everything you need is included in the box except the drill and bit. You could even mount the on/off switch under the sink or else where if you wanted to be creative and hide it.

It’s designed to be added to an existing faucet but can be added along with a new one. The filters last up to six months and are easy to change. I’ve recommend this to my mother and grandmother who only drink filtered water and I have gifted another.

My husband is a contractor but he said even I could installl this water filtration system. You Tube has a handy video from GE on how to assemble and install. It is very easy to understand and needs only simple tools.

It only took us a few minutes to put in. The only warning is that you will need a hole saw if you have an undermount sink with granite or quartz. The video depicts running the fitration fixture through the hose knock out in an overmount sink.

Sink hoses and over mount sinks are not that popular in recent years. But they do make a hole cutter in the appropriate size for your granite. That is a bit more sophistocated, so I would suggest getting a granite sample and practicing cutting the hole.

Otherwise, it is easy to install and gives you great water.

I got the RKIN zero installation countertop water filter system and I absolutely love it! I love that it’s a reverse osmosis system that completely filters everything out of the water and then the last stage adds the minerals back in and raises the ph to alkaline.

I didn’t just assume it did any of this either. I purchased digital ph and tds meters and tested my tap, previous PUR filter, RKIN filtered water, as well as the waste water from the system. My tap water ended up being fairly high in tds and ph.

My old PUR filter dropped a lot of the ph but actually ended up making the water acidic which was surprising and disappointing. Then the water filtered by my RKIN was exactly where I wanted it to be.

Low in tds but high in ph. It’s amazing that it can strip the water of everything and purify it and then adding the important minerals back in and making its ph around 8 give or take. The waste water was high in tds and still alkaline in ph, which I was very happy about because it let me know that the filtration system was doing its job but also I love that I can use the waste water for my many plants and now my plants are thriving from it.

So technically it’s a zero waste system because I drink the water it filters and my plants benefit from everything else. I haven’t been using this system for long enough to know how durable it is but I can tell that it is made really well and not cheap in any way.

The filters only have to be replaced once a year and two years for the reverse osmosis filter so overall I think this is a super win. People might shy away from this unit due to the price but I felt that with how much I’ll save from not having to buy bottled water or cheap pointless PUR filters (which btw are crazy overpriced for how well they don’t work and how they don’t last for as long as these filters not to mention the fact that they turned my alkaline water to acidic by about two whole numbers makes me think they are a completely fake and dead product that does nothing good for anyone that buys them.

) This countertop filtration system is probably good for maybe up to two people otherwise you’ll be refilling the base a lot. For me, I got a sealed water pitcher so I filter the water and put it in the pitcher to store in the fridge along with many reusable water bottles so I have plenty at anytime.

It took me about a month of research regarding many products and this was the one I landed on and I cannot express enough how happy I am with it. I hope in the future they create another that is similar but with a bigger reservoir and that is when I will upgrade.

I will definitely be a customer for a very long time if not for life and I highly recommend to anyone who is wanting the best water in their own home and not some cheap store bought load of ****. This is the real deal.

I live in Portland Oregon now and the water here is great but I’m from Montana and we had amazing water quality there as well. But now that I’ve had RKIN, it’s pure filtered alkaline water at its best and so I use it everything.

Highly recommend it for putting in your coffee pot as well. My first cup was like night and day from using my old PUR filter’s water for coffee. I live in a fairly small apartment and didn’t want to mess with the under sink sort of filters so this is the best (in my opinion) alternative if you want the BEST possible water.

I have really appreciated having this product in my home. I rent and its a lot to think about installing reverse osmosis in the home. That being said there are some complaints I have. I despise having to hold the lever to fill water.

I don’t like that there is no way to know if the filters are working and the water is clean. The most frustrating thing is we haven’t had this product long and it leaks terribly. Puddles. Like we go through towels and paper towels to deal with the leaking.

We have had it for about a year and a half. That is a really expensive product to have to replace every year and a half to two years. I see now that the product is said to only have a two year life this seems wasteful to me.

So now I am sitting here wondering if I am going to purchase the second filter or move on. I know the new version is coming out but that also is expected to last only two years. I don’t get it. Not sure if I recommend this product.

This is the second APEC counter Top 4-Stage system I have owned. The water is clean and clear. And makes me want to drink water which has always been a challenge for me. Also, reverse osmosis is the only system known to eliminate nitrites and nitrates found in tap water.

Unfortunately, I purchased another non-reverse osmosis system trying to conserve on water usage. But then decided for my drinking water, tea, etc. , I needed the purest water possible. I did have difficulty in installing the unit to the faucet in my home.

Apec Customer Service was very helpful. And I found a multiple sizes adapters packet on Amazon that made the connection a fit. Great investment.

The Counter Top Filter works great. Fits on my small counter just fine, Flow amount is OK. I would recommend this product for home and or apartment. Hooks up very easy, worked right from the start. Called APEC for filters and someone answered! Happy Customer.

Easy to install and I liked the stand which has all the filters nicely placed. I wish there could be an indicator for changing the filter but it recommends every 6 months so will be using a tds meter to check and change.

Overall I am happy with the product and lover that the tds of filtered water is in good range.

The title pretty much says it all. I’ve had this thing since Christmas 2017 and filtered thousands of gallons through it since. It is now June 2018, I am still getting small particles of carbon through in my water.

It is a significant amount, with about 20-30 particles coming out when running the water through the filter for the first 2-3 seconds. It happens the most when it hasn’t been used for a while, so I have to leave the water running for about 10-15 seconds before there are no carbon particles in my glass or in my pot, and even then sometimes I will find a few of them that slip through the steady stream.

The water has an improved taste, but I certainly wouldn’t call it clean when there are black particles in my water. I will not be buying this product again.

Just received my 2nd clearwater4less water purifier. First one lasted almost 3 years and was the best drinking water! The name is not on the machine and it took a while to find it again but will not use any other purifier.

No aftertaste. I am unable to drink bottled water so this is perfect!.

I have owned 2 of the Clean and Pure water filters, and this is my first CleanWater4Less, and so far I love it. The difference is not only in the handsome design, but this is where the water diverter makes a real difference.

The one with the black plastic diverter fails to keep hot water from flowing into the filter. The one included with this is simply on or off. I think it is also easier to replace the diverter if necessary.

The water filtration system was extremely easy to install. I did a before and after test and WOW what a difference. The city water looks slightly brown in comparison to the filtered and tastes awful.

I don’t have anything to say about the water quality, but the spigot being fixed in one place is only good for filling a glass or tumbler. I needed to be able to fill bottles and cookware and you cannot do that because there is no clearance for anything larger than a glass.

I tried hanging it over the edge of the sink but there still wasn’t enough clearance to place a bottle or pot beneath it. Also the water hose that attaches to the faucet is made of very stiff inflexible material and did not drape nicely over the faucet as the one that I owned previously did.

It needs to be more pliable.

Soooo, I was buying the gallons of Crystal spring water and carrying them up to my 4 floor apartment. Too much work. My partner insisted on installing this countertop unit instead of a Circle unit due to not having to drill the existing pipes and countertop.

The city water where I live is lauded as being very good and, overall, it is. That said, my family has been using bottled water out of habit for years, but due to a recent relocation we’re back to tap water currently.

Again, it’s not enough that I’m concerned, and it will never mean that it takes more than a few extra seconds to do most any task, but if you’re going to state plainly that it won’t have an impact.

It was very easy to install. I was done in about 35 minutes, which was a surprise to me given the fact that I avoid anything to do with plumbing. I was afraid that it would leak and that it would be too complicated but I got it right on the first try.

Three days later and it is still working well. No signs of leakage. 3M Filtrete Under sink Water Filtration System promises that water tastes better and it does. I’m saying that because of a couple of times I drank unfiltered water directly from a faucet at my house.

Usually, I don’t, no matter how much they say it’s safe. The fact is that besides microbes, there is chlorine and sediments that affect the taste and safety. The taste was much more palatable and I felt like I was drinking clean water.

I must warn you that that I did not use a water quality test. I would like to do so but for now I am trusting my taste buds and 3M since they have a name to protect and false advertisement would not help them.

My city water is usually good but I could see and taste the difference very easily. If your water source is not reliable, you may want to use a more advanced system but for me it worked well. My rating is based on my experience, circumstances and simple need.

In summary, this is an easy and simple way to get filtered water directly from a faucet. It goes under your sink and nobody sees it, which is great to me since I don’t need to show if off.

I ask this question at least 7 times a day: “Why didn’t I install this filter system 15 years ago??” We used to buy water from local water filtering shop and then we bought from Publix water filtering machine and lately had to use our fridge filter but the water quality wasn’t as good.

I think of all the time we spent hauling big jugs of water containers and time to time run out of filtered water and rush to the store. This filtering system ended all that headache! We get quality water that taste as good as bottled water, if not better, and we have plenty of water any time, any day.

The installation was very easy. The manual is easy to follow and I did the whole thing in a couple of hours. If I didn’t have to make some custom installation, I could have finished it sooner. The only issue I had was that one of the threaded fastener’s end wasn’t factory tight so I had a minor leak! That was quickly fixed by unscrewing the fastener and putting some Teflon tape on it and tight the fastener which took no more than 7 minutes.

Overall, we are very pleased with this system and I have encouraged several family members and friends to install one.

I’ve had this system for the past 3 months. We got this system to replace our ROES 50 system due to increased family size (2-4 members) and to aid in faster filling of our 5 gallon water jugs we use for our Primo.

This system has performed beyond expectations. Our water PPM has been the same as previously despite the faster filtration and less wasted water (~280’s pre filtered to low teens filtered). Also, it previously took about 3 hours to fill a five gallon jug, now it only takes about 30 mins.

The water pressure is incredible! No more waiting around for cups to fill. Lastly, replacing the system was very simple as many of the parts were the same as the ROES-50 and did not require removal. If you have an older system, I would highly recommend the upgrade.

After messing around for years with big name box store RO systems I did my homework and ordered the ROES-100. Great tasting water, twice the flow rate of my old systems, full size ice cubes! This is solid, not a plastic toy.

The system is very well thought out and even includes a water leak sensor. We had to change our sink base after multiple small leaks from the old system. Nice touch! I did a basement install just to make the servicing easy, I feed 2 icemakers plus the kitchen sink with no pressure drops.

Since I was replacing an old system installation took less than 10 minutes, but even on a new install it should be easy as all the parts included should cover most installation situations. Thanks for a great product.

After using several reverse osmosis systems for the past 30 years, I decided to try something different, I purchase the water drop ultra filtration system, and here is why I am fully satisfied with the system: 1- Easy to install, it took my less than half an hour to install it myself, I also connected the unit to the supplied faucet and to my refrigerator water hose(used a “T” connection), all went smooth, no leak at all.

2-The unit came with high quality faucet that was simple to install 3-After flushing the system as required, the water came crisp clear not milky color like some reverse osmosis do if too much air is in the tank, no need to have a tank at all.

4-No water wasted, water into the filter, water out crisp and delicious, my last reverse osmosis system was just wasting water.

Works great, easy to install. Quality Fittings. Well thought out design. Perfect fit under a sink. Love how the filter cartridges can be removed without shutting off water supply. No leakage when removing filters.

Wow!!! I should’ve made this purchase a long time ago the water tastes great and for the price no need to buy bottled water anymore.

So far the water filter system is good. Water tasted good and I am more comfortable drinking tap water or using it in cooking now, since recently there’s been a lot of water main issues in our surrounding towns and even some boil water alert.

Having a filter under the sink puts me at ease a bit. The reason I rated it 4 stars is due to 2 reasons. First, cold water pressure is taking a hit, it’s just how it works. So now even with just turn the water a little bit towards the hot side, it gets hot a lot faster than before.

I need to warn my son to be very careful using the kitchen sink faucet because of this. Second, after you don’t use the faucet for a few hours (or overnight), the initial water comes out in foam and frizzes, kind of like the frizzes from a can of soda.

I’ve contacted Clearly Filtered, they said it is normal, but it’s just a little weird. I’ve had the filter for quite a few weeks now, it still caught me by surprise sometimes. That said, I think it’s still a very solid choice to filter water.

Even my parents who are not picky about water commented how good the water is. The water is slow when you put the cold water on because it has to go through the filter, but not when you use the hot water because its not going through the filter then.

Its really not an issue at all. I wish the price of the filters were cheaper, since we are a big family and will have to replace them sooner. However, I highly recommend this system and I would buy it again.

So far, magnificent! The ‘cloudy water’ at first was a little disturbing, given that the water to the house had to be turned off to trick out the under-sink. I’m on a well, and water turned brown on returning from ‘off.

‘ Even though the filtered water was NEVER brown — the bubbles made it cloudy and had me concerned, until I read the instructions you sent with the filter system. All good. Explanations are invaluable to people who never read the directions — and probably to those who do.

I have never been let down yet by the PUR brand. PUR has once again helped me save money and great drinking water. I use to buy jugs of water to put in our water cooler at home. I would always have to lug those heavy jugs around and always paying for refills more often then I wanted to.

The PUR Plus Faucet Mount Water Filtration System has changed that for me. I no longer have lug around the jugs or spend the money, so that is one big plus. The fact that I can just go to my faucet and know that great water is right there.

It was truly a simple setup with clear instructions. The proper pieces were included to make sure the installation process was stress free. I think it took me maybe 5 minutes to install. I do love the fact that I am able to use my regular flow of water and switch to the filtration part when wanting fresh clean water.

The difference is immediately noticed when tasting the water. It is clean water water that has gone through an extensive filtration system. The amount of things you are protected from in your drinking water is amazing.

I have been hesitant to get a faucet filter because of how they look. When I saw this one from PUR, I really liked the modern look. All of my appliances are stainless steel and this filter compliments it wonderfully.

The filter comes with three faucet adapters so it should fit most faucets. It likely won’t fit a faucet that doubles as a sprayer, though. The water will flow like normal until you pull down on a small lever on the right side.

After flipping this down, the water is redirected to filter. I can’t really taste a difference with the filtered water but enjoy the piece of mind. The TDS (total dissolved solids) in my municipal water is very high so I wanted an additional filter to remove most of that.

Overall, very pleased!.

So, it seems you’re impatient to hear a good review, well you will not. Your product came damaged and it has not been installed yet. Was set to install when my handyman noticed the item was damaged, meaning it skipped quality control or carelessness on your team.

This is another review that you’ve sent me that I’ve been delaying to fill out and send. So, poor customer service as well, it should’ve been known I’m waiting for a part which inhibits me from installing it.

The reason it was purchased was because my previous one, same filter system, leaked and caused a water spill under my sink onto the floor, which ruined the wood under the sink, and kitchen mat. So, no I’m not happy!.

I replaced a Faucetmate system with this filter. Faucetmate was taken over by 3M and 3M no longer makes the proper filters. I’m happier with a Crystal Quest system anyway. I feel like they’ll be supported for a while, so please don’t sell out to 3M.

So far my water tastes great. The filter cartridges are very big in diameter – the Faucetmates were long and thin, so I had to rearrange where I keep things under the sink. That took almost as long as the installation.

My only complaints are: 1 – The bracket leaves space behind the filters. It would be better for me if the bracket were shorter so the filters fit more snugly against the cabinet and took up less space 2 – I would like a pair of 90 degree fittings to be included in the kit.

That way I would take up less space left to right.

I have purchased this under the sink system a few years ago and have been more than pleased ever since. The quality of the water beat Berkey in testing. Yes, I did buy a Berkey for emergencies and could not find the same quality when I tested the water.

Aside from this, I could not tell you how helpful the customer service reps are. We ended up mixing up the order of the filters , never mind we were confusing their names and color (which is Smart, which was the Ultrafiltration, and so on) and we received step-by-step assistance RIGHT AWAY.

So, thank you Crystalquest for the water quality you provide for my family and for always helping us to figure out the order of the filters while we are on our knees under the sink. We are also testing our water every 6 months or so and Crystalquest made sure to suggest and replace one of the cartridges to better fit the needs in the area we are living.

I have been filtering my water for over 25 years originally in a city to remove chlorination byproducts and fluoridation, and now in a rural agricultural area to remove pesticides and bacterial contamination.

Over the years I have spent many hours researching filters and systems. This is the best filter ever. Its performance data and certification stands above any other filter. In addition the Epic is extremely well designed.

It is very easy to replace. No need to turn off your water supply line. And it is self-contained. No canister to hold the filter thereby eliminating surfaces and handling that results in contamination.

As I said, Epic is the best ever.

I installed the Epic Smart Shield in an Airstream Class B RV to solve for drinking water filtration and so far it has performed great after 6 months use. Class B vans are tight on space overall and opting for water filtration on the way into the fresh water tank means storing the filter system in limited storage space.

Adding a dedicated drinking faucet to it’s tight counter space also grabs more space than desired. But using the Epic system undercounter and inline with the sink’s cold water is a great filtration option that conserves physical space.

Finding the space under counter in the tight galley of the RV was easier than identifying the needed in line adapters required. But once that trial and error exercise was resolved the install was a breeze.

The filter provides great tasting water no matter what my water source is traveling the country and the water flow and the RV water pump is not effected by its addition. When I winterize the RV I will simply remove the filter from it’s housing and store in a heated space.

I am now considering the same system for my home due to the performance enjoyed in my RV to date.

I did a lot of research and this filter impressed me with the ability to remove heavy metals plus chemical byproducts of roundup, which is in everyone’s groundwater. My husband installed it and said it was fairly straightforward – we are going to install one for our tenants as well.

It definitely makes a noticable change in the water pressure, but that’s a price I’m willing to pay. Note that it only filters cold water, not hot. Also, running the cold water through the filter seems to warm it up a bit so that I don’t get the same cold cold water out of my tap anymore.

(We live in Montana and are on a well so our water is COLD). None of these are biggies for me – just the price you pay for healthier water. Speaking of price, this filter was significantly cheaper than some other options with less certifications.

I just finished installing the GE REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTRATION SYSTEM in my sink. First of all I have to say this was fairly simple to install , the instructions was easy to under and complete. Did not need to search for extra installing information cause there manual covered it fully.

And one of the best part it is conveniently underneath your sink. No need for another large appliance in your house. This is an small under the sink appliance for everyone to have to be able to driink clean water.

It is very easy to install. I actually set it up myself, and didn’t need any assistance from my husband. The directions are very clear and detailed. It is a small filtration system, and it fits under the kitchen sink.

I trust the GE name for an excellent quality product, and once again was not disappointed with this water filtration system. The stainless-steel faucet looks great in my kitchen and matches very well with the fixtures I already have.

We’ve installed this and tested it out for about a month now, and the four of us that live in this household agree that the water tastes very good. We have well water which can often have a metallic taste and that well water smell.

This is extremely convenient to use. The amount of space it takes up under the cabinet doesn’t have much of an impact on the storage that I need for under the sink necessities which is something I had worried about before it was installed.

I’ve been making ice cubes with this water and have noticed that soda and mixed drinks taste better. Would highly recommend.

Well, when I saw that their instructions said it would be a 30 minute install, I was skeptical. and, indeed, to carefully do the install took almost 2 hours. Granted, a small part of that was taking apart the older canister based RO system; however, it was easily 90 minutes to just install the Waterdrop.

That being said, the install went smoothly as their instructions were very straightforward and all items in the box were clearly marked, making things happen smoothly. Having read ahead in the instructions, I saw that the system does a 30 minute run through the RO faucet after a 5 minute start-up ‘flush’ prior to being useable so I had my bucket ready to catch the water and take it out to my desert landscaping so as not to waste all that water.

I checked things out for several hours and all was working fine with no leaks at all and was pleased with ALL OF THE EXTRA ROOM I now had under my kitchen sink, not to mention that the filter changes, a PIA on the old system, will be easy-peasy, too! The water? After the initial start-up, I tested the water and discovered it was very close to the Waterdrop’s score of a TDS of 25.

this starting with tap water that was well over 450 and the taste was poor! My wife and I are quite happy with the results as the older RO system (4 different filters and a tank) was never that low. The flow out of the RO faucet is not too strong (e.

g. : doesn’t splash out) but more than needed to quickly fill a glass or cup. The only negative we could see was one we knew going in, having had an RO system before, is that the RO water tastes ‘flat’ unless you add a mineral cartridge back into the filtered water to give it more taste.

After looking at the cost of adding the mineral carts into the mix, it just adds complexity and cost, and we are fine with the ‘flat’ flavor over the taste of the water straight out of the tap. Also, make sure that before you buy you have an active plug under the sink and not just a switched plug like the one used for a garbage disposal (I had to add an extension tap onto the plug-in for the dishwasher, which worked just fine for me).

Hopefully, this system will provide us years of service and I look forward to the easier, frustration free, filter changes.

I got the G2 tankless water filter. Excellent water filter. The ppm reading for my tap water was around 438. After installing the filter it reads 50-60 ppm and the water tastes great. It was easy to install and does not alot of space under the sink.

They also have excellent customer service. I had some concerns after I received the filter. They were resolved in a swift manner to my satisfaction. Still have to see whether the filters last for the lifetime advertised on them.

But no major concerns so far.

Many modifications are required which may call for sawing your copper pipes and welding in order to fit their “feed water adapter,” which I was told MUST be used. Their assistance with installation was horrible.

It was indiscernible if the woman was talking out loud to herself, which she did consistently, or if she was speaking to me! I was always ignored, I would be explaining a problem or asking for clarity then silence.

then she returns talking about a totally unrelated subject. I had to keep saying her name and then ask if she was listening! Finally, she said she was going for her break and would call me back with some answers as regards my install.

I waited and eventually got an email saying I should just return it because there were so many modifications. Now if I keep the Waterdrop G3 and hire a plumber and an electrician to make the modifications I am concerned about future problems that may arise.

Will I get dismissive emails saying I should return it? One of the highlights of this machine was their advertised help with installation and problem-solving. Now, I am reconsidering my rationale for buying this and if customers’ concerns are easily dealt with by sending an email suggesting I return it.

It’s frustrating. I already removed my old GE reverse osmosis and looked forward to this new one. I am so disappointed.

Horrible customer service. I got two carbon filters to try a different brand for my whole house well filtration system. They didn’t take the smell out at all. The other brand, iSpring, would last 3-6months.

I contacted customer service and they said to mail them back at my expense and a 15% restocking fee which was going to be close to my total cost of $50. I called and spoke with someone named David and he said the same thing unless the filters were faulty.

I suggested that they were since they didn’t work at all. He told me to pay for a water test and then they’ll refund me. I told them that if their filters aren’t even as good as their competitors then they’re either faulty or an inferior product.

Now he won’t get back to me and all I’ve asked for was a refund. It’s been 2 weeks of back and forth emails and they refuse to give me a refund because they don’t know why the filters didn’t last. I’ll tell you, because they’re inferior and defective! Please just refund my money so I can purchase a different brand.

This is ridiculous.

I though I was buying a product from a serious company that were looking to create longterm relationships with the customer instead of one time transactions due to a product that have not fulfilled a customer expectation.

Now, in case I want to return the product they are telling me they can receive it but you will keep a porcentaje as restocking fee and I amresponsable for the shipping cost… really!?From my perspective a company should always work base on morality and standbehind their products specially when they are not meeting a customer expectations, I did all on my end to use their over the counter filter including replacing my sink faucet (over $100 more) and all I got was a maybe 1 gallon per hour that waste more water on the return line that what it filters, very sadresults.

Hope you take this review in to consideration and look for other options and different company.

I chose this system because the tank is a little more than a gallon and the compact setup of the filters. I set it up in my basement and got a couple extra fittings to have both a faucet and connect to the ice maker in my fridge.

I connected into a waterline with a T-fitting and used a T-fitting to split the water supply between the faucet and the fridge. Also purchased an extra shut-off valves to isolate the fridge. Clean cold water and ice.
