As of 10/20/21, today, there has not been a single hiccup in its functioning. We have it running on a 20gl tank sitting inside tent, cuts on just before lights, set to 64 temp and water stays within +2 degrees in a 80f-85f tent.
Keep in mind the capacity of water inside unit and lines running to unit. This affected the liquid measuring markings on our reservoirs by a noticeable amount. We would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to bring your res temps down in a -40gal! As always GH is our go-to with EXCELLENT customer service!.
Works well keeping 8 gallon reservoir at 64 with ambient temperatures of 70-80. Thermostat is accurate. Unfortunately there is an issue with either the power cord or the socket in the unit where slightly moving anything can shut it off which isn’t great if you’re depending on the temperature.
I received the with no problems. It’s a great chiller, I use it to keep my plants water at 70 degrees. Was working alot in the summer, but the chiller had no problems keeping water cool.

Get the biggest unit you can afford I got the 1/10 hp and it is only just sufficient for a 30 gallon reservoir during summer months–but it makes a huge difference.
I also added foam pipe insulation to the incoming and outgoing lines to preserve the chill.
The Active Aqua chiller is a decent value, if cooling a small system. It took a bit to calibrate, but when I finally did, its been pretty accurate, no need to worry about tank temps. A little noisy when it starts chilling, but not too bad.
This Chiller is much better to my surprise then I thought. It’s so quiet and cooled down my 65 fr gal tank from 86 degrees to 76 in no time. Will highly recommend. Thanks again

We have one of these in each of our two break rooms. Clean, tasteful design that delivers excellent quality water. Self cleaning is a big bonus. I have only one nit to pick — I fill my S’well stainless steel water bottle at these machines two or three times a day.
This Brio cooler is not quite tall enough to simply slide my bottle in under the dispenser nozzle. It’s as though someone made assumptions about bottle style/size when they designed it and hadn’t done thorough research.
Just 1/8 inch taller and this would have gotten five stars. A note about previous reviews — I’ve never used any type of water dispenser that had auto shut off, so I really don’t care, cool feature, but no big deal.
I can’t see the water level when filling a stainless steel bottle, but I know by the sound when it is full, so would I pay extra for that? Would I pass on this machine because it doesn’t have this feature? Would I not recommend this product as it is? The answer to all three no.
In regard to the night light feature, the complaint is not logical. If you want it only when it’s dispensing, I assume that it’s because you want to see what you are doing. You want the light on before you start dispensing so you know that you are hitting your target.
If I need to see something in a darkened room, I turn on the light when I enter. If you have an issue with flipping switches, what you really want is automated actuation of the light say by proximity detector.
Again, I have no aversion to light switches, so I have no problem turning on,.
Bought this cooler 8 months ago, as a replacement for an analog unit we had for 10 years. Dual filters provide unlimited quantities of clean, fresh and delicious water at 3 different temps. My only regret is that it does not work if the power goes out, as this dispenses water electronically and the old analog unit would continue to pump water since it worked on gravity.
Buttons have held up well to frequent daily use (I was skeptical) and unit is ultra quiet. Very sleek and compact since the filters are hidden behind a door, too. Came to buy replacement filters, so I guess we’ll keep this unit a while longer!.
I replaced my Kenmore Water Optimizer Countertop with this unit. I’m very unimpressed by a few things. The first thing is that the night light is either always on or always off and controlled by a toggle switch on the back of the unit.
There should really be an option for it to only turn on the light when you’re dispensing water. The next thing that disappointed me is that you have to hold the button down while dispensing the water.
There is no auto fill option, which is something that my old unit had. The only reason I kept this unit and didn’t return it is because the water provided by the Brio water dispenser does taste better than my previous dispenser.
Additionally, I love how both filters hide in the side panel on the unit and how tall the dispenser area is allowing you to fill tall containers.

This is the first time we have ever had a water cooler in the house, and let me say I wish I had gotten one sooner. At first I was somewhat intimidated to use it but just having it for a few days has convinced me otherwise.
They are so fun to have. Personalization feature is the best, you can adjust the water temperature as you see fit! And the self cleaning addition is just what I want in a cooler. Our city water is not the best, so the filtration system makes sense for us to use.
I no longer have to boil pots of water daily on the stove before I can drink it! It tastes really good now without having to do that. We will probably use the other functions for the cold water moreso in the warmer months.

The brand Brio is a good one, trust me. The entire set up was so easy to install for my brother in law who came and did it for us. There is no issues with the beautiful design either. I love this cooler! It is a Godsend to me.
I bought this dispenser around beginning of February. I installed the dispenser fallowing the instructions strictly to avoid any errors. My only problem with this dispenser is that the cold water is not as crispy cold as it should be.
Product information says it can be as cold as 39F and the dispenser shows that it is set on that temperature, but when you pour the water it don’t feel as cold as set. We also tried to check with a temperature to verify the exact and it shows that it is off by approximately 10 degree is difference.
I contacted costumer service and they said it should only differ by few degrees and was told that they where going to reach out to a technician to troubleshoot this matter. I never heard back from Brio after that, that’s a bummer! I haven’t reach back to them since I’m still under the 1 year warranty.
I’ll see what I will do. Other than that I really like the dispenser. It’s silent when it is not heating or cooling water which happen now and then (which is normal). And best of all it’s a self cleaning device.

This cooler is much better then the portacool we originally bought we have a 1500sq ft ware house but a portion of it is office space and that part is cooled. So we bought the 1100 sq ft portacool didn’t do ANYTHING to our space but make it seem hotter and humid.
We have 20ft ceilings so I’m guessing it counts as double the sq footage? So we found this. This Unit was double the size and the fan is 10 times bigger then the portacools and even when we just have the fan running without the pump it makes a bigger difference.
When we received it they package the wheels and parts in a box, inside the unit. It was tightly jammed in between the pump and side wall. When we got it all set up and turned the pump on Nothing happened! My husband being handy was able to figure out that the pump had come disconnect from its line somewhere and fixed it.
But only after I went and bought a pond pump to replace it with cause I needed the unit that day, opened it all up and couldn’t return it. If my husband wouldn’t have been able to help me I would have had to have returned it for a new one.
Not sure if it came undone during shipping or while I was trying to jam the box out of the tight space they have it in. Over all it works great just hoping if that same thing happens to anyone else this helps them fix it.

It stopped working shortly after the warranty expired! The unit would freeze all water and would not dispense any water unless I disconnected it and it melted. Contacted customer service and their solution was to give me a discount to purchase another unit.

I have one critique however, the Elkay LMABF8 was a fan favorite for during the summer months (May-June), as it provided a colder flow of water, though the water flow was less pressurized, so if an improved model of the Elkay EZS8L comes out, colder water would be highly reccomended.

I have been using zero water since 2008. I have tried other systems but this is the best. I don’t know why more people don’t know about this company. I have 2 units of the 5 gallon water cooler 5 stage system.
I just put one in the office. I got tired of using water bottles and proved to everyone that this water was cleaner, better filtered than the water bottles. Two of the employees who drink alot of water, 8-10 big glasses a day, were drinking out of the faucet.

The bottom reservoir is meant to only be filled to the “maximum water level” line, which only holds 3 gallons. The capacity in the specs is 576 ounces, which is 4. 5 gallons. It can hold more than 3 gallons in the jug itself, but the max fill line is about 1/3 of the way down the jug, and it clearly states it will overflow if you fill it any more than that.
I was looking for an alternative to have filtered water without having to order water jugs or go to a water fill station because we go through a lot of water. This is kind of that. It gets 3 stars because it could be a great product, and it’s better than the 18 cup Brita we have, but I’m disappointed in how misleading the capacity is.
Recently bought this to replace another popular brand of water filter pitchers. Aside from the fact that it does what it says, I really like the education side of the product. There is plenty of information available about why you should filter your water and the water quality meter is a nice addition that helps you understand water quality.

I had an Oasis chiller put into our new kitchen when we did a renovation about 10 years ago. After eight or nine years that one gave out. I realized it would probably cost as much as a new unit to try to replace the compressor or otherwise have it serviced, so I went without chilled water for months.
Finally, I decided recently to spend the money for a new unit to replace it, and I am so glad I did! It was extremely easy to install in my case, because all of the tubing was already in place, including the filter, from my previous unit.
It literally took me less than five minutes! Within an hour, I was once again drinking cold filtered water and loving it. I hope I get at least another 8 to 9 years out of this one if not more.
This cooler is to noisy to install under the kitchen sink. Even with the cabinet doors closed, the noise is objectionable. I called Oasis Tech Support and they agree, it’s noisy.

I have the Max 1/4 HP on my 120G mixed reef tank. I find it to be quiet running and very effective at keeping the tank temperature in check. It’s easy to set up and get started. Took me about 5 minutes to connect the tubing and pump and I was up and running.
Before my tank was in the low to mid 80s and I was losing a lot of corals. Now, I keep my tank at around 78 and everything is much happier. I would highly recommend this chiller especially if you want to keep coral.

Easy handles my 28 gallon bio cube from getting too hot. It is very quiet running as well. Sounds like a dorm refrigerator when it is cooling. Good product.

Bass Pro and Cabela’s were both out of stock forever. Finally got one and it works great. Have kept it running on the same batteries for 5 days and nights. Changed the water each day. Had some minnows die but they all would have died in a minnow bucket in the lake.
It’s a little noisy but not that bad. Sound construction and 13 quart was perfect size for me. Buy it. You’ll love it for ease of getting your bait when you’re fishing. It was designed for fishermen.
I’m using the pump that came with it for backup cause it’s very loud. Has plastic hinges that look flimsy so I’ve ordered the stainless steel replacement hinges. Other than that this thing is awesome! Crappie minnows in 100 degree Alabama heat was no problem! The most lively bait we’ve ever had.
I purchased the 19 quart cooler about a month ago and have used it half a dozen times or so. The air pump works wonderfully and really moves a lot of oxygen through the cooler. I find that it works best on the batteries and is more consistent in bubbling that way.
The only downfall is the seal on the lid. It leaks like a sieve, and splashes water all over the place especially when it is in a tote sled or on the back of a skidoo. Other than that it has been great and I have had no other issues with it.
