20 Best Watches For 1000 Dollars (2023 Updated)

The watch is beautiful and gradient dial looks fantastic in sunglight. The box it comes in is very premium and the textured leather strap adds a lot of appeal to this already pretty dial. 42mm is a good size for a diver watch as most of them are larger.

This one sits well on my 6. 75inch wrist and I believe it will work well in a dressy or casual attire.

The watch has arrived and looks to be very nice, have not as yet worn it so am not in a position as yet to comment on its quality

Very impressed by the quality of this watch at this price point. It’s on par with some of my higher quality watches. The watch has a nice weight to it, the face is large and easy to read, and it gets compliments that some of my higher end watches don’t! I highly recommend this for a daily wear watch that’s built with the quality of a luxury line watch at a fraction of the cost! Tissot has really stepped up their game!.

I bought this item in high hopes due to knowing how well Tissot makes their watches. Sadly was let down when I tried everything in my power to get it fixed. I got a replacement battery through Jared’s and was still no hope.

Customer service would not send me a replacement, so buyer beware.

The staff here did NOT acknowledge me when I walked in. Took longer than it needed to be just to do an online order pick up. This rating is NOT for the watch as it’s just amazingly great and I love it but I will be canceling my Kay’s credit card and not be shopping here again.

I’ll drive out of my way 30 min to another jeweler.

When I initially saw this watch, I looked right past it because it seemed like a “masculine” watch and was not for me. I was shopping with my mom and she suggested I try it on and so I did, and what do you know…it looked great! It was so simple with the right amount of color.

It looks good with everything. I definitely recommend buying it. They price and quality cannot be beat.

I love this watch and I love the white straps that come with the watch. It took me a while to figure out how to change the date so it is a bit tricky. I also needed to get the bracelet sized for my small wrists.

I am currently and using the white straps for the summer. I am hoping they sell more straps for this watch. This watch is GORGEOUS in person. DO NOT PASS ON THIS WATCH!.

Very nice, very reliable watch. Great entry-level luxury. Fits my slim wrist perfectly. Classy and elegant, but not flashy. Shower and swim with it no problem. I’m still careful with it, but it’s a great piece.

The face cracked one week into wearing the watch and the warrant does not cover this so I will likely pay 250 more the I purchase the watch for. On top of this, the customer service at Jared is horrendous.

I have attempt les to buy a ring on three different occasions first from a salesperson and did not get a call back, then the management, and got the same result. Then the regional manager. It has been a week and no call.

I even texted her private phone so she could have my number. This is my wife’s 50th birthday and our 25th anniversary. We have had a dream wife together, even with the nightmare we have experienced with Jared trying to celebrate these occasions.

I love the waych, but it doesn’t work. So i ha e to try and fit in time to go get a battery. Frustrating to say the least. They did offer a refund, but that means repackaging, getting return authorization and finding time to ship it back.

I opted for the blue face with the mesh band. Beautiful watch. Had to shorten the band. For better or worse, the links were quite tight, the tightest I have ever seen (bent a couple removal pins), but now looks and fits great and I am not worried about those links coming loose.

The only thing that gives me pause is I am not a huge lover of quartz. I prefer mechanical and automatic watches. I am not a fan of changing batteries, and I am not as confident in repair quartz watches.

With all that aside though, I am quite happy with this piece.

Perfect sport watch imo! No need to break out the phone anymore on a hike, mount a phone to my bike, or carry one on a short run. Throw some tunes on it and my wireless earbuds and I’m ready to go. Would have loved to have this when I was on the AT.

I’ve made use of almost the entire suite of functions/apps so far and find most of them useful and decently accurate; heart rate, gps location, etc. The preloaded maps and navigation are great to have when exploring new trails and you’re short on daylight.

Again, this would have been great on the AT when my phone and battery charger were out of juice. Stopping frequently into towns to recharge batteries was getting annoying. Battery life & screen size are very good but sometimes I wish I would have gotten the 7X.

Although, I’m perfectly happy with the 7s 47mm. Definitely worth getting the sapphire solar version as I’ve bumped this a few times already and still looks like new. Solar doesn’t do much for battery life in a wooded hike though.

Some people have complained about the watch band and rashes, I’ve never had this happen. It can be fiddly at times when adjusting the strap though. It doesn’t absorb sweat, slide around and cleans up quickly.

I try to rinse out any debris that might have gotten into it during an activity. Overall I love the watch, but not the price.

This is the latest version of the Bulova Luna Pilot – the watch that made it onto the moon with astronaut David Scott, who wore it on the 3rd EVA of his Apollo 15 mission when he broke the Hesalite crystal of his officially issued Omega and was given permission to use his own personal watch.

Like the actual watch worn on the moon this is the no-date version and has the older Bulova logo. Unlike that watch, this version is Quartz, rather than mechanical, but it is no ordinary quartz – with a stated accuracy of 8 to 10 seconds per year, rather than the more normal 20 seconds per month.

Although the watch is quite large, in reality it wears smaller than you would think. The lume glows a ‘lunar blue’ – I would say it is reasonably bright – but not as good as some other watches that I have what have Superluminova C3.

The chronograph pushers are the unique ‘delta’ shape of the original and are nice to use. The sundials are running seconds at ‘6’; 1/10th second at ‘3’ and a 60 minuet counter at ‘9’. Overall the watch has a very high quality feel and its crystal is of virtually scratch proof sapphire glass.

In its own right it is a very nice watch but its history – that it made it on to the moon when it shouldn’t have – makes it so much more desirable IMHO. So, if you want a great watch – buy one; but if you know a ‘bore’ who has an Omega Speedmaster Pro who (wrongly) harks on that s/he’s got the only watch that made it to the moon – definitely buy this one and shut them up :-).

A great men’s Swiss made watch Tissot PR100, top quality for a unbeatable price. Movement is very accurate in keeping time. Water resistant to 100m, really good too. The case looks larger than the 39mm.

Love the 6 O’clock framed date, lovely details. Huge power reserve of 80 hours. I choose the grey dial. With the silver hands it can be a bit more difficult to read the time depending of the light, as there is no anti reflect coating on sapphire glass.

Certainly the best deal in Swiss Made watches today.

Got this at a 60% discount. Definitely worth the money. The movement is quieter and more accurate than the Bauhaus watch I owned before. Really never thought I could get a good quality Tissot at this price.

If you want a very high-end smartwatch, this is the one. If you are using an iPhone, you will sacrifice some features. It is a great watch, great support from Tag Heuer, very high quality. Love it so far.

This timepiece is a great value and a great price. The poor guys Rolex of great quality, fits great with no bite. Great lime and is a chronometer of high standard. Will always be a highlight of my sports watch collection.

It does lack a micro adjustment for summer wrist swelling, depth rating could be better but OK for casual swimming, also enjoy the mat finish of the bracelet also so its not a finger print magnet. Some may consider the crown too large but its just the right size for quick adjustments on the fly.

I plan to wear it all day and into the evening when formally dressed. If its good for James Bond its good for me. JOMASHOP has the best prices and prompt delivery.

Dear Baltic, I received my Baltic Aquascaphe GMT ( Grey color ) 5 weeks ago; I ordered both the Tropical rubber strap and the “Beads of rice” steel bracelet. The watch is a joy to have and to wear, and very useful too.

I am a sea captain , working on cruise ship in the South Pacific. Time zone change happens and this GMT tool does surely its job. I am also a watch lover and amateur collector. The vintage look is there, embedded in the whole design, same time discreet and almost understated.

I read many and many reviews of the Baltic GMT, so I wish to add something more. The movement ( Soprod C125 ) accuracy is contained in 7. 5 sec. a day if the watch is continuously worn day and night.

But I found a good ” recovery position” to reduce the daily error to 4,5 sec. Fantastic. Very precise it advance of approx 4/5 sec a day ( average 4,55 sec ) if, before going to bed, you store it in rest position with the 12 hrs up.

We are inside the chronometer spec. therefore ( -4/+6 daily ). Another characteristic is that, due to the double curved sapphire glass, the minute hand looks like slightly bended at its tip, similar to the vintage watches of 1930/40! Fantastic.

I could go ahead with other things that I like about this watch. It is rated 10atm/100mt water resistance, but. is share the same case, the same glass and the same crown with the aquascaphe diver 200mt: so, where is the difference in water resistance if the same components and dimensions have been used? The suspect is the real water resistance may be greater that the declared one since it shares the full DNA of hi cousin.

it is possible that it has been tested only to 100 mt. Interesting. And what about the possibility to be used as a purist 24hr watch? That is to say rotating the bezel to have the 12/12up and adjusting the 24hr hand (triangle) on the local time.

There are people like me who like it. An when you change time zone, just move the 24hr hand. So I am very happy to have bought this great watch that I enjoy every day. It is rare indeed, scrolling through the so many review, to find such many positive thing regarding a Brand.

I bought this watch for my husband’s 40th birthday present because his family is in India while we live in the UK. Unfortunately the hand for the second time always slips back and doesn’t maintain the correct time for India which is 4.

5 hours behind the UK. I expected more from what I considered a relatively premium product which I thought would last a lifetime for my husband and make a really special gift. Sadly as he commented it is “ornamental rather than functional”.

A real shame – especially as we had to pay import tax to the UK – if it wasn’t for this I would have returned it. I still gave two stars as it does look nice and keeps the UK time at least.

Love the grey with blue GMT. Subtle shades, Haven’t seen before. Go well together. Steel band was nice but i needed to dress this down. Looks casual on the grey Nato strap i had. Miss a sapphire case back but their gmt world map case back is very nice.

No complaints. Will be my watch on a European trip next week.

I have one of the original Lake Erie Monsters. Shinola was good enough to change out the movement to a Sellita about a year ago and a half ago, and the watch keeps essentially perfect time. Maybe I pick up a minute every couple of months, but that’s it.

Now, the watch snobs are going to look down up, and mock, people who buy this watch. But an objective observer would be harder pressed. The case and bracelet are rugged, well made, and wear beautifully (I have no scratches or nicks on the casework after three years of continuous use.

) This thing is also *heavy*, cut out of a billet of stainless, and feels very rich on the wrist. This is not some $900 Tissot. Interesting, I have three friend who wear Rolex, and each has asked to examine my watch.

The invariably mention the heft and finish of the timepiece. And there’s nothing wrong with the movement. If you do a little searching, the SW200 is in a wide range of choices, including some rather well regarded near-luxury models.

I say the naysayers can pound sand. If you’re interested, check out the watch, make your OWN decision, and move forward from there. For me this thing is a keeper.

Love the vibrant, bold look of my Lake Huron (orange) and Lake Michigan (blue) automatic watches. I am obsessed with mechanical watches and until now there were no legitimate American-constructed options.

That’s why I’ve purchased two already! Shinola really hit the nail on the head with these. The colors are bold, but not overwhelming. The case is a thing of beauty, with a solid heft to it, while remaining sleek and classy.

The tapered bezel flows well with the case, and it rotates with very satisfying, solid clicks. The lume glow is bright and I appreciate that the tick marks and numerals of the bezel are luminescent as well.

Deep notches on the crown make it easy to grasp and manipulate. Overall, the design isn’t bloated or overly chunky. It’s a proportional, perfectly-sized timepiece that does not overwhelm my wrist. My one knock is that the steel bracelet should be included as standard with the Lake Michigan (blue).

I had to spend extra to buy the steel bracelet to replace the blue silicone band. But don’t let this hold you back. I have absolutely no regrets. Shinola, please continue to elevate your standards and craftsmanship.

As long as you do, I’ll be more than happy to keep coming back.

I’ve wanted a Monster for close to 3 years now. Finally took the leap. LOVED the look of the Huron but decided on the Superior because of how well it pairs with every outfit. This watch is brilliant.

Nice fit, perfect heft. The black, glossy dial is amazing. The bezel click is crisp and tight. Bracelet is outstanding and the lume is top-notch. If you’re on the fence about this watch. just go for it.
