This is a quality smartwatch for the price! The overall design and build quality is very nice and it doesn’t feel or look cheap. The watch feels very durable and has a nice design to it. It’s very comfortable on the wrist and isn’t too heavy either.

The watch band is comfortable and I love the material they used. The touch screen is very nice, responsive and bright, but can be a little difficult to see in direct sunlight, depending on the angle.

I can also say that the screen on this one is very good in terms of overall quality. The AMOLED panel is awesome. It has a lot of features and the interface is pretty easy to navigate and use. In terms of accuracy, it is in the same ballpark as other smart watches I have used.

The battery life is really good and doesn’t take long to charge. The battery life will vary of course depending on how much or how little you use it and it’s features. I have been averaging about 7 to 10 days, however, I have a lot of the notifications turned on.

This is the first projector I’ve ever owned or used. I was a little worried it would be difficult to set up or wouldn’t be worth the hassle but this little thing has exceeded my expectations!It’s a quality, well made projector.

I can see it lasting for a while, even with regular use. It’s not difficult to set up and, even with some trial and error, doesn’t take long at all to get started. It looks great and also provides a really nice looking picture.

I’d expected a washed out image but this really isn’t, even in low light instead of total darkness. I’m giving 4 stars because this is the only projector I’ve used so I can’t honestly say it’s perfect.

I got several different brands and styles of these and compared them. This one is really good. Very nice for tracking steps, cardio, etc. Easy to use, fun, looks great. It has extras that some of the others don’t, such the GPS and blood oxygen monitor.

But I found that I basically never used those with the watch. Still, good features if you ever need them. It looks modern and stylish on the wrist. Helps you keep your fitness goals in front of you. Like it! No complaints or problems.

I actually bought this for my 10 year old son. With homeschooling he hasn’t been very active. He was ecstatic to wear this and count his steps. It is very easy to use. He’s running around the house non stop again.

It seems pretty accurate on counting the steps. Once in awhile he will tell me his blood pressure numbers. Pretty good battery life compared to other more expensive step counters. My daughter wants one now too.

I think this fitness tracker is a bargain compared to others and works pretty well. I bought it only because I needed a cheap watch and this one came up. This is a nice introductory smartwatch. It doesn’t have a lot of features, but the ones included are solid. It’s comfortable to wear all day (and night if you’re monitoring your sleep), which is a plus.

The features work well and it’s a good watch to keep up with your exercising and heart rate. The cons are the home button doesn’t work well on the heart rate feature. It works sometimes while other it does not.

I’m not sure why that is, but this has been my experience. I also don’t like how the charging works. I’d prefer a plug in type charge. Overall I’d recommend this watch for someone who is looking to get into the smartwatch market but don’t want to spend a lot of money on one.

I received my watch just this afternoon and am so far, very impressed. Great value at this price. Via the mobile app on my iPhone, I was able to fine tune settings and alerts, including calendar reminders, incoming calls, sedentary reminders, existing height and weight, goal weight, etc.

The price earned 4 stars rather than 3. Although you can get cheaper off brand knock offs that do 90-110% (Some other brands can track blood pressure) of what this will do, the Garmin Connect app syncs with a work exercise incentive program that ended up saving me some cash.

The heart rate and sleep activity tracking is pretty cool. I should really stop staying up late at night reviewing data on how much sleep I’m not getting! The Vivosmart HR Activity Tracker has a GPS which is why it is a bit bulkier than other models.

It comes with increased accuracy on step counting. Battery life is pretty decent for a GPS model. Basically need to charge it once per week. I kind of regret not getting a more functional smart watch.

I’m hesitant to invest in some of the more expensive Garmin models though as they do not support Android Wear. They basically have proprietary apps. So I settled for this less expensive model that basically is good for what I use it for.

Getting healthy and saving some money while at it. Sometimes it gets a little sweaty, the solution is to just loosen the band. I haven’t noticed a problem with it still tracking heart rate. Good thing that it’s basically waterproof.

I wear it in the shower without a problem. The Garmin Connect app (iOS/Android) is an important part of the watch. You can configure it to show txt, facebook, call, etc notifications. I’m pretty notorious for not having my phone in my pocket when I’m at home.

This watch has surprisingly given me better response time when I’m on call and really should be paying attention to incoming calls. The app also let’s you configure daily step goals and active time goals as well as a “Challenges” with friends from social media.

Folks that exercise with other people are statistically more likely to continue exercising as time goes on. So buy a watch for yourself and your BFF/SO/Fishing Pals/person that never answers their phone, etc.

I bought my Vivosmart 3 on sale for $99 opposed to the regular price $139, which was a good buy for the price. My main reason for this is to track my heart rate during the day, which the Vivosmart 3 does a great job at tracking.

I know this because when I manually take my pulse its exactly the same. Although you should accept the fact that this may not produce accurate results like a 3 or 5 lead EKG, but this is perfect for personal use.

The sleep monitoring is freaky, I’m not sure how this works, but I have to say this seems to be on target. I am not sure about the stress tracking just yet; I’m not sold on the data I get form this; then again, this is not a medical grade EKG.

Another feature I like is that is this automatically tracks my activities for heart monitoring. It can tell when I’m running or biking and will indicate the activity with a little symbol on the heart rate graph.

Furthermore, I like that this is waterproof (good for swimming), although I would not wear this while scuba diving. SOFTWARE I like the ease of the Garmin software. The user interface for the phone is very intuitive.

Additionally, the Garmin Connect website is also well designed. This is where you phone uploads your information to a personal web portal. NOTE: All Garmin devises use the same software and web portal so you will not be disappointed.

Also, it is very simple to configure the Garmin device using the software of web portal; once done simply sync with your device and that’s it. TESTING AGAINST OTHER MONITERS I am an avid biker; I ride trails (black diamond) four to five days a week.

I tested my Vivosmart 3 against my Wahoo TICKR and they are pretty close in regard to results. What I like about the Garmin is that it is worn on the wrist opposed to warning a chest strap. Although I admit since I bought my Vivosmart 3, I still wear my Wahoo TICKR.

CONCLUSION If I had to pay full price I would have spent the extra money for the Vivosport, which has all the same features as the Vivosmart 3, but also has a color screen that is easier to read in daylight and a biking profile added.

However, the extra biking profile is no use to me because I use Strava (a very popular biking and running app) for my because it is very accurate. For heart monitoring the Vivosmart 3 is perfect because it is convenient to wear daily, all day….

I recieved this as a gift three years ago. Since then I’ve had to send back for a warranty band replacement. Hard to read face in many situations. While the steps are recognized, flights up or /down stairs not so much.

Battery life 5-6 days. Software was draining my previous Android smartphone, however the latest update solved issue. Sleep, Pulse and Stress functions seem accurate. News, emails and alerts barely readable on the tiny screen.

Overall I’m content with unit.

Disappointing product. Not for anyone who is serious about actually tracking exercise activities. The GPS is a joke. Takes forever to connect and still loses GPS on at least 30%-40% of runs or rides which means elevation gain is no longer tracked and syncing activity with other fitness tracking apps like Strava is not possible.

Additionally, the tracking is not accurate or precise in the least. My girlfriend and I both have the Charge 4 and run together on the same route but get significantly different total mileage. I’ve spoken with FitBit customer service but, aside from advising you to unsync/resync your watch, they have no substantive solutions.

Battery life is quickly deteriorating as well. Lost nearly 40% over the course of an hour run most recently. Could not count on it lasting through any extended activity. Not a lot more frustrating than having your watch lose GPS or simply die halfway through your outing.

Oh, and the charger is a bit flimsy as well. One of the two prongs broke off about two months after purchase so when your watch does die in the middle of your exercise, you can charge right up as soon as your new charger is delivered.

In short, if you are just looking for a step counter and heart monitor that displays the time and doesn’t take up a lot of room on your wrist, this watch is a moderately effective, albeit expensive, tool for that but nothing more.

If you have any interest in actually tracking your exercise activities, don’t waste your money on the Charge 4.

decided i wanted a low-profile tracker and chose this over the charge 5 because 4 still has an altimeter (fitbit ditched it for the 5, which has other bells and whistles, but if i’m going to bother tracking my lazy butt i want that to include stairs and hills).

the band it came with isn’t uncomfortable, but it is extremely bulky, so i found an off-brand replacement band made with velcro that’s proven to be much more comfortable and adjustable and better fitted, making the fitbit easier/less noticeable to wear, including when sleeping.

step tracker has seemed accurate, no idea about the exercise tracking but it seems fine when i’ve used it (including auto-detection), and the sleep tracking seems pretty accurate too. i haven’t yet checked out other non-premium options like mindfulness.

the app interface is a bit clunky and non-intuitive and perhaps a bit focused on encouraging users to upgrade to premium, but it’s tolerable as i don’t need to use it much. i did opt for the in-app squaretrade protection plan just because it covers drops/cracked screens and i was more worried about that than a device failure.

all in all a decent tracker, too bad they removed a basic feature like the altimeter in the newer model.

This watch is hot garbage. My boyfriend got me this watch for my birthday because I’m pretty active and was telling him that I wish I could monitor my HR during my workouts, as it would push me to work harder.

And it did, for the 2 weeks it actually worked. After the first 2 weeks of constant wear, the sensor would just drop in the middle of my workout. Or I would be doing steady cardio and my heart rate would go from 145 to 89 in a matter of 30 secs.

I would move the monitor up and down on my wrist to different spots or take it off, wipe it off, and it would pick back up and my heart rate would shoot back up to 125 or higher. I thought maybe I was wearing it wrong so I googled suggested wear.

I found tons of users who experienced exactly what I had, and even saw they tried the same troubleshooting (moving it, wiping the sensor). Those people called customer service who told them it was a software issue, and to fix it, you have to do a hard reset whenever it acts up.

Save your money. This watch is garbage and not worth it. Purchased a Garmin on Friday, this one is going in the trash. You’re better off buying one of those step counters that you clip on your clothes.

That’s about all of the benefit you’ll see from this watch.

For the price, one could not ask for more. To get a watch with a heartbeat monitor for under $50, is a bargain.

Have owned quiet a few smart watches but the haylou LS02 is the best so far.

I have owned a couple other FitBits and two Microsoft Bands (no longer made) and this is the worst of the bunch. My Fitbit Versa was a few years old and was starting to act up, so I figured I’d upgrade to the Versa 3.

The biggest problem is that it constantly becomes unpaired with my phone. This happens at least once a day and many days it’s multiple times. I have to reset it to reconnect and this brings me to another issue.

The “button” is not a physical button but a sensor of some sort and it is very difficult to hold it down long enough to get the Fitbit to reset. The unpairing is annoying and inconvenient at best, but has caused other problems as well.

When unpaired, the watch doesn’t keep time accurately. I use it as my alarm in the morning and on more than one occasion the Fitbit was several minutes slow. Fortunately, I use a backup alarm, or I would have been late to work.

The other problem with the button is that it is very sensitive and depending on where you wear the Fitbit, you can unintentionally trigger the button and actually start changing settings and such just from walking or moving around.

The Fitbit also freezes from time to time and is buggy – there are times where you cannot pull down your text messages, they just don’t show up. Also, the screen is very sensitive and warm shower water will cause it to activate and start scrolling through settings and different functions.

On the positive side, when it works, it works well. Even with all the problems, if I pay close attention I can keep on top of it and keep it working – it just takes several resets a day and frequent monitoring to see if it’s paired and telling time properly.

Also, the alarm is great because it uses a quiet vibration that wakes me up but doesn’t disturb my wife. Battery life is impressive, it’s comfortable, and seems pretty durable, but that is all overshadowed by the Fitbit just not working properly.

Pros: The battery life alone makes this purchases worthwhile. A full week of charge even with all my daily activities. Being able to record my sleep is a function lacking on the Apple Watch. Fitbit now gives you an overall score and it compromises of various things such as sleep, stress levels and heart rate- which is really handy when you’re training to ensure you’re taking care of your body.

It’s a slick design and tbh doesn’t look any different on the wrist. I had a Fitbit years ago and when I got my Apple Watch I always found myself comparing the two. Glad to be back. Cons: It’s very much an Android platform.

The design functionality is a bit clunky and not really as “sexy” as Apple Watch- it’s hard to explain if you haven’t had an Apple Watch. The Watch faces are very limited and I’m unable to add my own photo to use as Watch background.

This might just be the case on my Versa 3. My watch strap feels a bit cheap on the wrist and I might look into seeing if I can swap it for something that’s not fitting of the face of the Watch. Some of the premium video that’s your paying for are really good, but there is no option to report feedback.

I attempted to do a kickboxing video and they kept panning on the surroundings instead of the instructors. I gave up 5min in as i couldn’t keep up with the instructions or instructors it just wasn’t clear enough and you couldn’t see what the instructors where doing as the green-screen background was more important.

Physically, the watch itself is pretty nice – good size, fairly comfortable to wear, lightweight. The app and integration with your phone feel like an afterthought. Notifications are okay, but setting up some of the Fitbit specific features (like wallet, or whatever it’s trying to do with Bluetooth) is far from slick.

Battery life is good for two days, less if you track an activity. Then there are two major negatives. Firstly, the screen is almost impossible to see with polarised glasses at most angles – especially if you want to glance down whilst on a bike ride, or even a quick glance whilst driving.

It’s pretty much useless for tracking rides in that respect. Secondly – you can’t wear it in your right wrist. That’s right – if you’re left handed, get used to constant accidental presses of the one button on the watch until you get so annoyed you just disable it.

This is a $200+ watch that’s been out since Aug ’20 and still doesn’t support wearing on both wrists. I just assumed that it would have that functionality like every other smart watch in the world, but I was mistaken.

All it requires is a software update to flip the screen 180° for us lefties, but apparently sending me an email when my watch is low on battery was considered to be a more important feature.

As the title says, the iTouch explore 3 seems to be a decent smart watch, though there are a few flaws as well. The good: the watch is comfortable to wear, light weight, and well sized for me. I have no problem wearing it as a daily watch.

The screen is a good size for all of the readouts and screens you might need to access. The default Home Screen is also well balanced with data like time, date, daily step count, daily distance, and heart rate, though doesn’t feel cluttered.

The step counting and distance were surprisingly accurate for me. It was on par with other smart watches and fitness watches Ive tried in the past. The battery lasts a decent amount of time too. I get about 5 days of continuous use on a charge.

The flaws: Navigating the screens and figuring out how to do simple tasks is not intuitive at all. I often find myself stumbling through screens to do things as simple as starting or stopping a workout.

The touchscreen is also really sensitive. If I have a jacket on while wearing the watch, the sleeve ends up activating the screen and scrolling through stuff on its own. Even just crossing my arms makes the screen do things which can be frustrating.

Perhaps a screen lock of some form could help this (if it exists already I couldn’t find it. All together though I’m happy with the watch. It does all the functions I need for daily use and is still very comfortable, so worked out for me.

Good value for the price! I love my new smart bracelet. It was affordable and loaded with features. I’m not sure about the step accuracy, but it certainly motivates me to move around more and go for walks.

It works on the treadmill for when it’s too yucky to be outside. I am a mom with 3 kids, 2 of which wake me up in the middle of the night, so I tried wearing the watch in my sleep to monitor that, and I was extremely impressed to see how accurate it was.

It showed what times my sleep was interuppted, how long I slept, and the quality. I just wish that the band was a little more comfortable to sleep in. then I would monitor my sleep every night! So far, I’ve only been in the rain and washed my hands alot with the watch on, but I have a pool, so I look forward to trying out the swim features in the summer.

I like the USB charger, but I’m always afraid I’m going to break it when I remove the strap to charge it. If there is another way to charge it witgout removing the band, that’d be awesome. There is no extra charge for the app, and I have found it very useful.

I hope someone comes out with a soft band compatible with this watch, I just LOVE IT!.

I really like this watch. I especially like smart watches because they have a reminder function. It can set many options through the application readsport, and can be easily read on the watch. Sleep, heart rate, steps, breathing exercises and so on are all good.

I really like the way we change the dial in use of watches. You can change it on your watch, or you can download more beautiful dials on the watch market of readsport, which are free. I really like this watch.

It’s so light that I feel like I’m wearing almost nothing. I don’t like heavy things on my wrists.

This was our first trail camera and we found the experience beyond our expectations. The first night we set it up using the clear instructions that came with the device, we captured a variety of wildlife in surprisingly good resolution and definition in spite of the fact that it was night vision videography.

The resulting images and videos were easy to download and share. The device comes with an easy to use strap which we used to attach it to a tree near where deer and raccoons were congregating overnight.

Fun, useful, and very well built this is a great deal and a great camera!.

Absolutely love all the amazing features of my Fitbit. I love that I can see txts and calls and even answer calls, shuffle music and set alarms. The features of this smart watch are endless. All syncs with my phone using an app and has more addition information to view on the app.

The main reason I purchased the Garmin Venu Sq GPS Smartwatch Metallic Orchid is to keep track of my everyday fitness and health levels. It is light and comfortable to wear, has a number of built-in features which can be accessed through a touch screen face and two buttons and more than 20 preloaded sports apps.

I previously had 2 Garmin Vivoactive HR devices that worked for about 2 years and then tapped out. One just died as if the memory was full and would no longer work. The other leaked water while swimming in a pool and died.

I asked, and Garmin said they would refurbish them for $125 each. This device works similarly to the Vivoactive, with some similar features, an interface and charging cord and minimal instructions. The device has a number of build-in features that can be accessed through a touch screen face and two buttons.

So far, it works okay, and I download most of my data to the Garmin App on my phone to read any data. The display is clear and the watch is no bulky or uncomfortable. It accurately records the data, but can be hard to read as you swipe, tap buttons and scroll through the menus.

Since I’m a guy, I don’t need the menstruation app, and will check to see if I can delete this function so I can work other programs. Overall, it’s not as good as the Vivoactive HR, but it is a great recording device, lets you know when you get an alarm, email or text on your phone and is relatively inexpencive at $130.

Charge 5, started using early October. In general, I like it, and some things have gotten better since the first frustrating week in October, but there are still issues. I bought it mostly for heart rate monitoring while bicycling, and that seems to work well.

But I really wanted it to seamlessly integrate with Strava app, and that is still disappointing. I learned to be comfortable with it on my wrist. The first week was rather uncomfortable now I hardly notice it.

Except for the battery percentage, the screens are readable, and youll learn what all the swiping left, right, up, and down, does. Mine still has some issues:UPDATE 2/5/22: Step counter works better if youre walking and swinging your arms normally.

If you are carrying something or looking at the watch or gripping a handrail or walker or pushing a stroller, etc. , you arent going to get accurate steps. Syncing issues continue GPS connectivity is still unreliable.

1 battery indicator on iphone app no longer registers correctly. Tiny greyed-out battery percentage indicator on the Charge is more accurate but is nearly invisible without a magnifying glass. 2 my device cant maintain bluetooth connection to iPhone app.

This makes syncing difficult and time-consuming. Even after turning on/off bluetooth and restarting device. 3 integration with Strava for exercise biking is confusing and weak. Sometimes, when using phone setting for GPS, recording works great other times it drops out even over the same route where it worked the day before.

So I have to activate Strava as a back-up, sometimes ending up with duplicate activities if Fitbit works. Just delete the Strava activity if the Fitbit one works, you say? Theyre not really duplicates though: Strava data is much more accurate than Fitbit, but Fitbit provides the heart rate, which is why I bought it.

So I lose something if I delete either one. But if I keep both, it shows inaccurate record of my exercise activity. Grrr. If I set my device for B.

In this review Ill explain what I noticed most about this watchapp thats not often mentioned in others as much. While this is a pretty decent watch given its size, it does lose a star for its inaccuracy of the heart rate at times.

Its great for sleep monitoring and probably the best in the industry. But, as I mentioned the heart rate monitor when Im using a bike or something it doesnt really capture the high heart rate spikes like you would with lets say an Apple watch.

In those devices it will tell you your highest heart rate spike and lowest, which is pretty useful in some scenarios. Also, when using the bike and looking at the watch then looking back at the app. It doesnt really display all the info you saw yourself while looking at it.

Its almost like it takes the average of the highest and then shows that instead. I dont use the GPS feature and I wouldnt really recommend it either as its a battery drainer and inaccurate at times. As for resting heart rate and anything below 120bpm, it will be pretty accurate.

I usually performed tests with an oximeter beside this. The sleep monitor is the best in the industry from everywhere I looked so theres not much to nitpick about that. The app is a money grabber like everything these days making things you purchase into a subscription based purchase.

It does have a lot of info on it without the subscription so I still do without it. The HRV heart rate variability thats rather new to the device is a take it for what you will kind of deal? Im not sure how accurate it really is, but still neat.

Also wish you could know your oxygen percentage at any time similar to the ECG, but maybe some day in a subscription near you. By the way. The ECG should also be taken with a grain of salt. I cant seem to get any rating other than an inconclusive, haha.

Comfort: no complaints the strap is nice and the screen is good in most situations. Screen: good size but touch sensitivity could be a little better as some had.

Ill start with this, because its high on my list of criteria: Its been 8 days, and only today did I need to recharge the Fitbit Charge 5. During the 8 days, I went to the gym twice, for 1 hour each time, and also practiced soccer twice, with my child, for about one hour each time.

I still need to learn to use some of the exercise/activity tracking functions, but one thing I notice is, if I retroactively record time spent exercising, it will synch it with my actual vital stats from that period.

This is very useful for me, because I nearly always forget to start tracking. Sleep tracking is mostly accurate, but I noticed there were some occasions when it did not detect that I had awakened during sleep time.

I like the added SpO2% function, as it gives me clues about my breathing during sleep. I cant be certain, but the nightly readings feel accurate. The other tracking features are also useful, such as the stress gauge and the usual heart rate tracker thats also in the charge 2.

Ive worn it in the shower every time, and it seems to be fine. I see no sign of damage. Using the water lock feature is helpful, so water splashing onto it does not activate other functions. Ive been using the text notifications and alarms features steadily.

Im rarely without my phone, so notifications may not be as useful. However, the alarm feature is nice. Ive used a daily alarm to help wake me up every workday morning, and one-time alarms to tell me when my breaks end or generally, when I should get back to my desk.

Alarms are basically gentle buzzes on the wrist. They work as effectively for me as sound alarms although I use that, too, for morning wakeups. I appreciate that there are about 20 display faces available for this newest version, but I was able to find, really, only one that suited my needs for displaying information without needing to tap anything else If youre curious, the basics I need are clock, step count, and heart rate.

Sadly, only one display face shows all.

Very limited display and options in the app. I basically just needed a heart monitor with a focus on being just that. Fitbit and every other major brand seem to have fallen prey to just being a social media manipulation tool for people to get false clout from strangers and people that genuinely could not care any less about anything.

Anyways, opinions, run on sentences, and feelings aside, the device is just awful. While making sure to follow the usage guidelines, it would report my heart rate to be anywhere from dead to about to be dead.

I could be relaxing, sitting completely still, and it would report my heart rate to be sky high. On the flip side, I’d be deep into an intense workout, and it reports that I am sleeping. Umm. wut? I understand that light based heart monitor tech is not the best, but this thing is definitely a no go for people committed to getting/staying fit that are wanting as close to real results.

Would work great for people that want to post their fake gains on social media. Also, due to its design with both sides doing some unknown function, the screen would keep flipping on me after making contact with my skin during natural wrist movement.

For example, I want to check my rate midst workout and it’s telling me to lock it or it’s on a different stat I can’t give a care about. I just wanted a Bluetooth heart monitor. Seems that devices with dedicated functions like that just don’t exist in this world anymore.

Additionally, I scoured online forums and kept coming to the same conclusions. Fitbit knows about these issues, and admits no fault in their design. Their suggestions are to reboot the device or factory reset it for re-calibration.

Did not work for me, nor the people in the forums. No proper support. In conclusion, don’t waste money on this device or any major brand found in electronics stores (unless you wanna display your fake gains online).

You’d probably have better luck with some questionable device from some back alley doctor that wants to wire you up as a guinea pig.

I had a Charge 2 and was looking for a new device since the screen on my Charge 2 cracked. I was looking for something functional, no bells or whistles, so I picked up the Inspire 2 while on sale for $89.

As great as this device is, the design ruined it. As a short person, my wrists aren’t as wide as others. For some reason, the bands don’t turn downward where it connects to the device. This was the same with the large and small band sizes.

(I’m guessing it’s because the device is deep?) The band sticks out a bit and then turns down. The problem with that is: the distance from where the band turns down on the top strap to where the band turns down on the bottom strap is longer than the width of my wrist.

This meant the watch kept getting knocked out of place and I’d constantly have to adjust it to view it comfortably. The other issue is the distance from the bottom of the device to the bottom of the screen.

I’m guessing this is done to protect the screen from cracking due to the depth of this device. However, that distance on someone with a narrow wrist is an issue. When I straighten my arm and hand, the bottom of the screen is at the level of my middle finger, so if I want to read a text, I have to turn my arm that extra bit to view the top of the message.

Compared to the Charge 2, reading texts on this device is very uncomfortable. The band clasp is plastic which I can see breaking down the road and the charging cable is only 25 cm (10”) long which is way too short.

For comparison, the charging cable for the Luxe is 52 cm (20”) long. I’m very disappointed the Inspire 2 didn’t work for me! It had everything I wanted and the 1 year premium trial was the icing on the cake.

With all the lockdowns Ontario has been through, I was really looking forward to the premium membership. I hope Fitbit sees this review and keeps short people in mind!!.

The FitBit is an excellent tool for motivating one to overcome a sedentary lifestyle. It’s fun to see the “fireworks” and feel the buzzes when one reaches 10,000 steps in a day. The array of features is impressive.

You can tell the device what type of exercise you’re about to do — from running to biking to swimming (with the water-lock feature). Statistics like distance, calories burned, time in activity are all recorded for you.

I use the FitBit app on my Android phone to track my progress and review data from previous days. You can use the app to record other types of data not viewable on the device, such as hours of sleep, stress level, even “mindfulness” (if you’re into that).

A couple of minor quibbles: The readout of statistics (steps, pulse, zone minutes, etc. ) on the main screen is tiny and displayed for only a second or two, making it difficult for those who don’t have optimal vision.

I chose this model because I like the way it looks while wearing it, so I mostly rely on the app to review my stats. The rubber wrist strap is very comfortable but takes practice to fasten. Beware! I once got a blister from wearing the device too tight.

After I learned how to properly wear the device, this has not happened again. Overall this a great product.

So, I’ve waited a few weeks to post my review of the Fitbit Versa as I wanted to give it a fair chance before doing so. Before buying, I had a few concerns about the watch from previous reviews the main ones being battery life (some people reporting this disappeared after using in the pool), compatibility with my Android phone and ease of changing straps.

Although some people are bothered by the GPS being linked to your phone, that doesn’t bother me as I don’t use the watch for things like running. Addressing those three concerns first, I needn’t have worried: 1.

I swam in the watch at Center Parcs recently. Not only did it work perfectly in and out of the water with no adverse impact afterwards but it also worked perfectly at picking up that I was swimming to monitor my activity which is great.

2. I have an LG G6. None of the LG’s are listed by Fitbit as supported devices but I took the plunge regardless. I’ve had no problem syncing the two at all. The notifications that I want to come through do so perfectly and I’ve had no issues whatsoever with the two working together.

I wouldn’t let this put you off buying. 3. I bought the lavender special edition watch when it was on special offer for the same price as the regular watch. I therefore have 2 straps (one lavender and one black rubber) and have changed them a few times.

I haven’t had a problem at all changing these around. Yes it’s a little fiddly but that’s going to be the case on any smart watch simply due to the size of the connectors. The things I like best about the Versa are: 1.

Heart rate monitoring seems to be streets ahead of my old Charge HR which was a little iffy. 2. It’s comfortable. Like I say, I had a Charge HR before this and I had to stop wearing that because the rubberised strap kept rubbing on my skin and making it really sore.

I’ve not had that problem at all with the Versa in either strap and the only time I’m not wearing it is in the shower (that’s when I charge it!). 3. Sleep monitoring. I love the fact that you get more in depth sleep monitoring with the Versa, telling you the time you spend in each sleep stage etc.

4. Automatic exercise recognition. The fact that the Versa will automatically detect when you are working out is a great help. On my old Fitbit, if I forgot to press the start button when I got to the gym, it was a real pain trying to work out my exercise zones etc.

with this – I know that this will start automatically for me which is a real help. Things that I would like to see improved on the Versa: 1. I would love to see a Spotify app added. Even if this was just a control linked to your phone to be able to skip tracks etc.

on the go it would be great. I don’t know many people who use Deezer or many who would want to make the switch after setting up playlists etc. on spotify. I think Fitbit may be missing a trick here. 2.

Sleep monitoring. Although I am happy with the monitoring on the whole, the older Fitbit’s will recognise when you sleep whether it’s a short nap or overnight. With the Versa, it will only recognise your sleep if it’s over 3 hours so you lose that ability to monitor your sleep if you have a short nap.

It’s not a deal breaker, but it would be nice to have that information. 3. Period tracker. The Versa has it’s own period tracker built into it which is great but again seems to overlook the fact that other apps are available and that people may have already built up a history elsewhere that they don’t want to loose.

Integration with apps such as Clue for this would be great. Overall, whilst there are a couple of small points that could be improved, I am really happy with my purchase and would encourage anyone thinking of buying a Versa to get one.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Versa Batteries OVERHEAT while on charger!!! Never leave your watch on the charger without checking it every 30 mins for your health and safety of your home and life. This can burn your house and cause death!!!! I purchased the FitBit Versa only to have the battery overheat while on the charger.

Luckily I always checked it within 1hr. It was so hot it burned my fingers while removing it from the charger. They kindly replaced it with another just by calling and explaining the problem. Unfortunately, this replacement also OVERHEATED on the charger.

This time they supplied the FedEx return label that was used and has been in transit for 3 months , (since Jan 13, 2022 today is March 15, 2022 ). Fitbit refuses to send a replacement until it reaches their warehouse.

So I have been without a watch for 3mos due to a manufacture faulty battery that overheats when charging. I am highly disappointed with Fitbit for not standing behind their product when it is definitely a manufacturer issue of an OVERHEATING BATTERY.

I absolutely LOVE my Fitbit watch! I was in the market for a smart watch and wanted something I could wear for work (registered nurse) that would allow me to read my messages on screen. I’m an apple girl, but the Apple Watch was intimidating to me in terms of its navigation (the apps look so messy, and there was so many apps on it that I just wouldn’t use!) I give my Fitbit verse 4 stars only because I think it would be great to include a way to respond to messages from the phone (even if it’s just preprogrammed replies like “sorry I’m at work” etc).

It also doesn’t alert me to FaceTime calls, only voice calls/texts. So there have been times my phone has been on silent/not near me and I missed calls from friends. I also think giving a screen protector in the initial box would be a great idea.

I did not have a screen protector (and didn’t know they even made them for Fitbit versa until I researched online) and my watch screen got really scratched up within weeks of getting my smart watch. One additional feature I’d like to see is a calculator app on the screen.

Being a nurse and using this for work it would be helpful to have that easily accessible on my watch. I’d also like to see an easier way to switch the clock face to military time directly from the app rather than logging in to the Fitbit website.

We use 24 hour time at work and it would be helpful to see that time reflected on my watch. Thank you Fitbit and would love to wee these improvements added to future versions of the product!.

I have already complained – this is not a real product – just formed plastic – with 2 copper strips stuck on – not a real functioning usb stick part to actually charge 2 watch batteries given but. I thing opens to put them in as just a formed piece of plastic as per photos I sent.

This was a birthday present and not aware it was phoney until tried to start it. Very angry and disappointed.

This bracelet works good but every once in a while (usually one time per day) the bluetooth with my phone stops which means i have to disconnect it and connect it again. this could make the bracelet drop all his data.

Does exactly what it is supposed to great value for money very accurate would recommend

I got this watch about a month ago and so far I’m loving the fitness tracking and battery life. One complaint I have has to do with the design. I think the ridges on the steel bezel of the Venu2 are problematic.

They’re constantly getting stuff in them and are difficult to clean. Just make it smooth or use the same concentric ridges at the Venu2s! So much nicer looking and so easy to clean. I got this because I liked the design in images, but because of those ridges, it just kind of looks a little dirty all the time unless I wash it a couple times daily.

I also have the all-black model. Maybe the silver and blue wouldn’t look as dirty? Wish there was a choice of all black with silver steel bezel. My other complaint and primary one is the compatibility with iOS.

I knew buying this there would be some issues, but having to keep the Connect app open and running in the background on my iPhone just to have updated weather, challenges, and calendar is a lame work-around for what SEEMS like a simple solution.

I don’t know if this is something to be corrected on Garmin’s end or Apple’s end. Other than those two things I love this watch. The touch screen is beautiful. Its also very comfortable compared to the Apple Watch in my opinion.

I like that it only has two buttons for a simple and clean look. But unless Garmin works out the physical design flaws in the Venu2 steel bezel, I think I’ll be buying a different Garmin series next time.

I have been wearing vivofit 2 for about 6 years. I really like the soft rubber wrist ban. I can sleep, shower and swim with it on. No charging or remembering to put it on. I do take it off in a hot bath.

I have replaced it twice. Other than that i have been wearing mine almost every day since 2016.

Bought this in April 2016 mainly to track steps/activity in pool aerobic/zumba classes. Works well in pool, but since it is on my wrist, it does not track my steps unless I am moving my arm. So it does miss actual steps in pool.

Only tracks steps on land if I move my arm. I also use my “old fashioned” stepper that I keep on my waist for land activity. That appears to be more accurate than Vivofit (I have tested both of them and my old stepper is more accurate) since the Vivofit only tracks my steps if I move my arm.

My old stepper also tracks aerobic workout (Vivofit does not) and that is useful for land zumba classes. The sleeping function on Vivofit is useless. only tracks if I move around during sleep. I tend to just “average” my steps from both of them Vivofit/stepper.

Good things on Vivofit: great with computer program even though I have to enter my bike activity on my own; great if you want to interact with others (I don’t). Bad things on Vivofit: Is not as accurate as a traditional stepper since it is on your wrist; does not track aerobic activity; you cannot check previous activity unless you go on the computer (my stepper goes back 1 week to track previous activity); and it is hard to get this to “scync” or to put on “sleep” cycles.

those functions should be on a another button on it instead of where date/time, etc is on which would make it easier to do. Even though I have been somewhat negative, I do find it helpful but changes (especially ability to track aerobic activity) to it would make it much better.

and if my old fashioned stepper can do it. Vivofit should be able to do it.

The Vivofit 2 is very lightweight and comfortable to wear, although it is a bit difficult to put on and off with one hand. The lock works well and prevents it from coming off unexpectedly. The button to switch displays is also a bit difficult to find but with some practice gets easier.

I love the big display (can read it without my glasses) and also the backlight. It does a good job of counting your steps, warning you if you have been sitting too long, showing your goal and distance.

The calorie count seems way off so I take it with a grain of salt. I wish it would auto-sync to my phone or computer rather than having to put it into Sync mode but is only a minor inconvenience. The App, however, is a bit difficult to understand and is supposed to link with MyFitnessPal but a lot of extra information like what I ate, when and how much make it more of a pain than a help.

I guess if you are really counting calories like on a WeightWatcher program, this would be helpful. it also does not notify you of any incoming calls or texts. Instructions or tutorials would make it much more user friendly.

I have not used any other fitness devices so I do not have anything else to compare it to. All in all, it does what it’s supposed to and is helping to keep me motivated, which is it’s total purpose. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of device and the price was reasonable compared to some others.

This fitness is a good value for the money. though it isn’t without a few issues. I had mine for 3 months when it wouldn’t hold a charge and went haywire. I texted them to see what they would do. They were very polite and prompt with trying to resolve my issue.

They asked me to send pictures of my order and box. They gave me a few suggestions on what to try. when that didn’t work, they set me replacements. That is 2!!! I am hopeful that my issue was just 1 bad apple in the bushel.

I have had other more expensive (Fitbit) fitness bands that didn’t do as much as this does and when the warranty was barely out ( 1 week ) they refused to stand behind their product. Imagine my surprise to deal with this company.

Very nice watch. I bought it in a deal and it was worth it. Setup was easy. You can easily track the heart rate and other activity trackers like steps, sleep etc. You should totally try it. Battery back up is good too.

As a first time buyer/user of a iPhone holder like this I thought I could start off cheap to get the experence of the benefit of a phone holder. 1st. bad thing, the springs are so strong that I had no idea that the tiny rubber piece would of been used for incerting the phone, and since the web sites didn’t exist for how to use the spring loaded mouse trap LOL it bit me twice before trying the tiny rubber piece.

2nd. bad thing, it’s cheap but I knew it was and wanted it for experence before purchising a good one. And the good thing is, it shows you how many different ways you’ve been missing for viewing incoming alerts, watching YouTube or what ever.

Instead of having to pick up the phone and hold it for everything.
