20 Best Wash For Back Acne (2023 Updated)

I’ve had a life long struggle with acne. I’m 29 and still get it on my back, bum, and on my face sometimes. I switched to this a few years ago and fell in love. Firstly, it smells amazing! Secondly, it lasts FOREVER (like 6 months).

You only need a small drop to do your face and only a half pump for your whole body! It suds super well. Thirdly, I saw a difference in my skin. Now, this may not get rid of the acne completely, but you know you’re putting natural ingredients in your skin.

I paired this with the Antibacterial Body Treatment. I recently decided to switch it up and try a different cleanser, CereVe. Nope. I miss my Just Natural!.

I really love this and I’m not one to write reviews but after 2 purchases of this item. I feel inclined to let others know. So of course it helped clear up my face. When those lazy nights occured i still felt like i broke out less just because I’m using this face and body wash.

I have moderate stubborn acne on easily dried out sensitive skin so pretty much everything I use that claims to be “acne free for sensitive skin” breaks me out and leave my skin painfully dried out. So finding this has been a great relief.

One bottle lasts me 5-6 months. Great buy and i’ll keeping buying to support my blemish free face and of course the company too.

I didn’t have any problems with acne when I was a teenager. Now that I’m a young adult I’ve had acne bad. I’ve tried different things and dished out the money for certain fancier items, but nothing has worked.

This stuff is truly awesome! My face is finally clearing up! I’m so happy!! Changing my diet, exercising more, and getting my hormones balanced has helped too. This stuff is a great help.

Okay, let me start by saying I rarely ever write reviews, cause who has time? With that being said. I NEED to write a review for this. I started struggling with acne after I had my daughter 5 years ago.

It started with the occasional pimple here and there, but in 2019 and most of 2020 so far, my face has been in PAIN! thanks to all the acne and cystic acne I was experiencing. I tried expensive washes like Kate Somerville and olehenriksen which you can find at Sephora for about 65 dollars or 40 dollars each.

They didn’t work, so I continued to try every wash I could get my hands on and that I was told would clear my acne. I even went to a dermatologist, it didn’t help. One day I happened to mention it to my co-worker because I was having a bad acne day, as I’m sure you’re all familiar with.

The ones that you can still see no matter how much makeup was on, and truthfully speaking the makeup looked horrible over those breakouts. Anyways, he mentioned when he was a teen he struggled with acne and used this wash.

I thought, no way! So I didn’t buy it. Til quarantine (2 months later) and I said hey whatever let’s try it, if it makes it worse at least I’m home. Well, I’ve been using it 3 weeks and my acne is GONE.

What’s left are some scars I’m hoping will diminish within time. I do have 2 active pimples right now, but they are very very small. Can’t even see them!!! Before this wash my pimples would be visible a mile away, One of them is even already drying out on the second day thanks to this wash.

All I have to tell you is, try it. It changed my life, I finally feel pretty again. It’s been a while since I’ve felt this confident. So to the people who made this product, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have been using this wash for both my face and body for a little over a year now. I don’t generally have breakouts, but when I do I end up with blemishes everywhere from my face to my chest and back.

You definitely have to be aware of how it will react with your skin, because my face is slightly more on the sensitive side and I’ve noticed if I leave it on for a few minutes too long it will start to burn and leave my face red for some time afterwards.

So bottom line, if you use as directed and use it how it feels right on your skin it will become your best friend! I have a hard time finding cleansers because I don’t feel that they usually work as well as I want them to, but this one definitely does!.

I have been using this product for almost a month and I can start to see improvements in my breakouts. I usually use it once a day because it can irritate your skin. I use it more like a spot treatment and only put it on the places that I have breakouts.

I let it sit and then rub it all over my face before rinsing. You have to follow up with a really good moisturizer. I also use it on my body for any breakouts.

I recieved this @differinus acne cleansing body wash free from @influenster in exchange for my honest review. I feel like I have more issues with acne in my adult years than I did in my teen years. Anyone else? Just me?.

As per usual with my skin care reviews, I don’t have a lot to say in way of sweeping results. Skin care takes time and changes are subtle. While my back-ne has improved over the last month, I was also subscribed a new med from my derm, so the results could be one or the other or a combo or the fact that I am on summer vacation and my stress levels are lower.

I really cant say. What I CAN tell you is that this wash is mild; I have not had any adverse reactions, no irritation or redness. There is no strong scent, which is a pro in my book for skin care. Scents, while enjoyable, can be irriating and actually cause acne.

I will continue to use this one uo and hopefully the positive progress with my acne issues will continue.

For the past three years, I’ve been using PanOxyl face wash. My physician prescribed this face wash because I was looking for something to help with my acne. I’ve always had reasonably clear skin, but I’ve always had oily skin with acne scars.

After doing so many sports and sweating so much, I started getting severe acne. I started using the 10% Benzoyl Peroxide face wash on both my face and back, and I noticed a difference in both areas within a week.

My acne scars started to diminish, and I saw very few pimples. Because I have incredibly sensitive skin, I was initially hesitant because my dermatologist warned me that it could irritate my skin. I’ve been using this product twice daily for the past three years, and my skin isn’t as acne-prone.

I finally feel like I’ve found a great face wash that makes me confident in my natural skin, which many people can’t say. One of the negative aspects of this product is that it can bleach your clothing, towels, and other items, but this can easily be avoided if used cautiously.

Another adverse effect of this face cleanser is that it dries out your skin, but I use a little moisturizer to prevent this. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone with acne-prone skin looking for a stronger face cleanser.

This face cleanser is one of my favorites, and it has done wonders for my skin. It’s also quite affordable, and you can find it in almost any drug store.

Love this product!! Sometimes I get rlly lazy and only wash my face once a day so I get a bunch of oil build up on my nose and forehead and all I have to do is wet my face apply it and let it sit for like 5 minutes then massage it in and rinse and it’s amazing!! My current routine right now is very simple first off this face wash , la roche posay double repair cream, and if my skins dehydrated I use the inkeylist hyloronic serum.

Rarely ever a face mask I find it’s best to stay simple since I do have sensitive skin and rosacea. One thing I was pleasantly surprised by what that this product didn’t cause a flare up. I started using this product October 2021 up to now July 2022.

I have during that time thought to try a different wash and it totally derailed my skin switched back to this and my skin was good as new. I don’t think I will ever leave this product again. I do think that the improvement of my skin could also be hormonal balance finally but if you’re oily I say get it bcs it rlly helps combat that.

Have you tried everything to rid your face and shoulders of acne?! Well my husband has, from Clinique’s new acne line to Murad Salicylic acid products and Proactive all with no improvement! Over they years we have spent endless time and $$$ trying to help his skin improve.

I am so happy to say we found the holy grail in PanOxyl, while being a bit to harsh for my less oily skin it has worked wonders for his overly oily skin in just a week of use! Being that it has the highest concentration of Benzoyl Peroxide (the ingredient in proactive but has a much higher amount per bottle) you can find without a prescription makes it safe to use unlike the damaging side effects he endured using Acutane at age 19.

I have him using a gel or water based moisturizer after to replace some of the moisture it removes plus sunblock as this product can cause skin to be more sensitive to harsh UV rays. It has cleared his adult acne to almost zero in just a week, I can’t stress that enough.

He is much happier with the results than he ever has and I’m a much happier wife knowing he feels good about his skin (and I can stop hunting for more products)! We’ve added this product to our #morningroutine.

I suffer from acne due to having a hormone in balance. So it has been a huge Complex for me my skin. So after trying over 100 different products I must say hands down I ABSOLUTELY 💜 THIS PRODUCT AND WOULD DO AN INFOMERCIAL FOR THEM.

I have got to tell you that I have tried every acne cleansing wash to keep my hormonal acne in check and they have all disappointed me: if they work, they dry my skin out and make an incredibly flaky mess out of my face and if they’re gentle they don’t work at all.

Not this one my friends. I will never buy another acne clearing face wash again. Every time I get bad breakouts I switch to this wash and my skin clears up basically overnight without upsetting the delicate balance that is this mess I call a mug.

This is one of the only face washes with active ingredients that I am using for more than 2 years. It definitely helps to fight acne. I used this both for face and body. I would say it helps body acne much more than it does help face acne.

But I have noticed that I get more acne on my face if I skip this face wash for a week. So it doesn’t get rid of the acne completely, but I would probably have only one to two acne on my face if I am using this face wash every day.

I only wash my face once a day with it to prevent dry skin.

I’ve always had some acne on my chest and upper back (where a sports bra hits) because I played sports when I was younger and now work out regularly. It was never anything major, just a few here and there, so I never really cared or thought anything of it.

However, I got married in May and my entire dress was open back so I decided just to try this and see if it worked. I’m so happy I did!!! I used it from the beginning of the year all up through my May wedding and saw awesome results! My skin is SO smooth.

I never realized how bumpy it was before! It got rid of any acne I had. Anyway, I will continue to use this on my chest and upper back!.

I’ve been using this product for about three weeks. At first, I noticed my acne getting a lot better pretty fast. I was so overjoyed and excited. however, over time I saw it going back to how it was before (potentially even a little worse).

The acne was painful and red and all over. I saw someone say something about there being a purging period so I thought I’d stick it out. I’ve had acne like this for at least five years so I figured what did I have to lose? now my acne is back to how it was before, potentially a little better.

I only use it on my problem areas so the wash isn’t really being burnt through quickly. I’m going to use the product to the end because I paid for it and I’m hoping that it works again and that my skin just needed to get used to it.

It does have salicylic acid, which is a good acne treatment so who knows. I also heard people saying it works better with the body spray as a combination tactic but it was sold out when I went to buy the body wash so maybe that’s where I am going wrong.

Either way, I wouldn’t recommend this product just yet, as it didn’t do much for me (especially for the price) but I could see it potentially working for someone else. I would recommend using the bottle to completion before you completely write it off, but my first impression wasn’t great :(.

This product really worked for me. I started using this during my very recent pregnancy, when I got hormonal acne between my 1st and 2nd trimesters on my upper chest and forehead. It really helped reduce and eventually clear up the breakouts on my chest without leaving any acne scars or dark spots.

This body wash is also gentle enough to be used on the face, as I had hormonal acne on my forehead during my pregnancy. I used this body wash in the shower daily on my face and body, and it really did help to clear up my breakouts.

I now use this body wash to spot treat my skin whenever I have a small breakout and my blemishes are gone in just a few washes. I would highly recommend this for anyone with low to moderate acne breakouts.

(I’m not sure how effective this is for severe acne prone skin types. ).

I have combination oily skin, but recently, I have had a lot of breakouts and blackheads. Pores have also seem to have expanded even though I follow a strict skincare routine and have always had relatively good skin.

I have always used a benzoyl peroxide wash to keep acne away, but realized 1) it still wasn’t cleaning my skin properly, because I would wipe my face with toner and still see a SUPER dirty cotton pad, and 2) it was not tackling any of the blackheads, so I would always resort to my good ole extractor to do the job.

I always use a salicylic acid treatment, but not a face wash, so decided to try this (along with some other ones to test). THIS ONE IS THE BEST. I used it once, did some light scrubbing in my T-zone area, let it sit on my face for about 20 seconds while I was rinsing my conditioner from my hair, and then rinse it off.

When I applied toner, I still had a little bit of dirty stuff on the cotton pad, but this cleared the majority of my pores and I did not see a blackhead in sight! Please remember that I have combo oily skin, so if you are more on the dry side, I would not recommend using this very often or let it sit on your skin like I do.

I’ve tried several cleanser along with trying out Curology for 4 months. It made my problems way worse than I’ve ever had them with acne. Back in December 21′ I decided to sign up and truly regret ever doing so.

Long story short, after months of using their products, my face had a lot of healing to do. Not only was I suffering from acne (I mean several new breakouts a day), I always was flaking really bad and my face would burn anytime I applied something to my face.

I did a lot of research and decided to give this one a try and mannnn am I really happy with my decision. I still get pimples, mostly around the time I start my period though, and have scarring that I’m still working on, but my face is so much more calmer, happier, I’m not so self-conscious anymore.

It really is helping. I have acne prone, combination skin and my face loves this cleanser. Scent is a tad-bit strong from tea tree oil, but my skin doesn’t seem bothered by it. BUY IT!.

I love this face wash!! I have been struggling with acne for so long and was trying various face washes over time that weren’t working or made it worse, but thankfully my mom found this one online! So we tried it for me, and it really has calmed my skin and helped my acne!!! I was also using the acne moisturizer from the same line for a while which was helpful too, but I eventually went to the dermatologist since my previous acne was scarring and she gave me a different medication.

Thankfully I can still continue the face wash though since I really think it helped my skin even without the acne moisturizer. This is the 3rd time we’ve purchased this face wash, and I don’t know if I’ll ever stop using this product lol, it’s so nice and so helpful!!! It also has a pleasant smell and a nice texture.

I use this face wash in the mornings and night, and it’s almost exciting to use at this point hahaha. Anyway I definitely recommend!!.

This stuff is holy grail to my face and skin! Nothing ever worked with breakouts I always had to deal with them when I felt them painfully coming in! Not anymore. I bought this stuff and put it aside because I wasn’t fully done with the other face wash.

HUGE MISTAKE! One morning I woke up with a painful pimple trying to come through the surface and I got tired of feeling useless and not trying to help my face and that darn pimple so I applied some of this all over my face and neck area as instructed on the packaging.

The next morning I woke up and had NO BREAKOUTS and my face felt and looked so clean and clear!!! I won’t vouch and say it removes blackheads, BUT my acne is completely gone. And to me that’s what matters! I use strips for blackheads and this product for my daily wash twice a day! The price is just right also and a little goes a long way! I’ll be buying this for the rest of my acne days!!! 30 years old and I’ve struggled with acne my entire life! (USE A SPF MOISTURIZER AS YOU NORMALLY WOULD AFTER USING THIS PRODUCT AS IT TENDS TO DRY OUT FACE).

Pimple patches are one of the hottest products right now for the blemish challenged. These little bandages are made to be stuck directly onto pimples to dry them up more quickly. This pimple patch worked great it stayed on my skin all night long till I took it off the following morning.

It soaked up the yucky in my zit by adsorbing the toxins trapped under my skin, all while protecting my zit from external bacteria, sunlight, or face picking, these pimple patches can accelerate healing too.

My holy grail acne fighting product! I can’t say enough good things about this product. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist when I was 15-16ish and was battling acne, and I am now 30 and have made it a staple in my skincare routine after trial and error with tons of other acne products.

Thankfully I don’t have frequent issues with acne now like I did during my teen years, but I keep this product on hand and still use it religiously at least once a day. It is a bit drying when you first introduce it, but give it time, I promise the results will be worth it.

Just moisturize extra well in the beginning. Any time someone asks for advice on battling acne this is the product I bring up.

While traveling for the holidays my neck and face started to breakout. Nothing was working to get it under control. I ordered this face wash and my neck and facial redness started to calm down within days.

My acne is now under control using this. Great product not over drying.

The only face wash I’ll use and I can’t imagine going without it. I started using this about 3 years ago because of hormonal acne changes – it’s not magic, it takes time for skin to clear up of course and depending on what products you are using with it will make a difference.

I usually use this with Sal-C toner and Clearaderma or Cran-peptide moisturizer, but I am trying out the Hydrabalance too now. I have gotten compliments on the appearance of my skin and rarely wear make up.

My partner has always had trouble with back acne since I met him. He has very large pores on the back and sweats a lot specifically just in that area, causing very clogged enlarged pores and acne. I have bought him several different body washes throughout our relationship that have helped control it, but it was still present.

These two products have made so much more of a difference than anything else! The body wash is not too stripping for the skin and doesn’t leave his back red. The spray however is probably making the most difference, because he can take it in his work bag.

I got of birth control a few years ago and although my hormones took some time to adjust to not be dependent on a synthetic hormone I experienced months of clear skin. I was so happy my body was adjusting, but low and behold my hormones started to get out of whack almost a full year off BC.

I was diagnosed with PCOS-like symptoms. My body acne at this point was so angry and inflamed I just didn’t know what to do. Countless dermatologists visits, endocrinologists, I am in my late 30s and I wanted to stay off of any harsh anti-biotics but tried a few courses of doxy with very little improvement.

I decided it was time for a lifestyle change, cut gluten, sugars, alcohol, dairy, been doing this now for 2 years, still no significant improvements. I wish I would have taken progress pictures the week I started the wash and spray, which I may update this post in a few weeks because I recently started to document my progress to see if I need to make any diet adjustments or maybe add the exfoliating scrub.

Other than my back being a little itchy, I can handle it I have experienced no other side effects. I am so so happy and highly recommend this system if you are struggling with hard to treat body acne.

I like this. I use it daily mainly for my back as I have alot of black heads/ dark spots/ identical know how else to describe dark almost scabbie spots on my back and arms. I believe I ordered this black Friday or Christmas and I see a big difference and feel a big difference in my arms and in my upper back.

I think if I ordered another one and used it twice a day instead of just in the morning or at night I would get a giant difference. It’s a nice smell not overly medicinal or perfumey.
