I bought this model for myself on Fathers Day and absolutely love it! I have accessed and updated my work files through Google drive, Evernote, and Dropbox. I read the news, search the web, manage photo albums in my iCloud image library, and check the weather.

I’ve watched videos from YouTube and other streaming services while sending the audio to external speakers through Bluetooth. I prefer using this device rather than my laptop because of its speed (M1 processor) and sharp display.

My purchase included a Logitech Combo Touch iPad Pro Keyboard Folio and an Apple Pencil, and they all work great together. I often operate for days on a single battery charge. I have nearly ninety apps installed and still have over 223 Gb available.

iPad Pro 256 GB was shipped in a plastic bag with a thin layer of bubble wrap which did not protect the Apple box. The box was dented on the edges and corners. Problem with this is, when I eventually move on to a newer product and choose to sell this iPad, whoever buys it will see the banged up box.

Making the iPad less valuable. It is not the first issue with products being shipped by BB. There have been several in the last few months which have been packaged very poorly. Have been buying Apple products for years.

However, was apprehensive, and still am, about this product. Not because of the packaging. The product did work out of the box and appears to be unaffected. Apple has been obsoleting products through software, so I am nervous that they will obsolete this iPad sooner rather than later.

I’ve had every iPad Pro except the 12 inch big boy models but these new iPads with the (iPhone 11 camera) have been my favorite so far. I love how thin they are and how lightweight they are as well. This model is identical to the 2020 model of the iPad Pro 11 so you can’t really tell them apart but with the M1 chip all the power is under the hood on this guy.

For those who don’t know, it uses USB Type C to charge so MacBook users, Galaxy users, and anyone else who has Type C devices will benefit from this. This iPad has a big battery so it’ll last all day, mine is used for media consumption so Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Starz, ShowTime and mostly YouTube.

I’m a gamer as well so this large screen is a perfect companion if you have a Xbox one or Series S or X and like to use the streaming feature that lets you stream your Xbox game in real-time from your console as long as you are on the same WiFi network as your Xbox.

Honestly this thing is great for gaming especially with the refresh rate on it so get you a flip case and a Bluetooth controller, prop it up and game on. Can’t talk about the iPad without mentioning the 4 super loud and clear stereo speakers, they will fill up a room and to take full advantage of the stereo surround sound, turn your iPad sideways while watching HD content and you’ll notice the difference.

I wanted to use this a few weeks before reviewing, just so the cute factor would wear off a bit and I could give a more practical review. If you are on the fence about the Mini vs. a larger iPad, make your decision on the intended use.

If it’s for school or work, go bigger for sure. The Mini is a personal use device, very nice for media consumption, as a reader, journaling, communication, casual gaming etc. Pretty much perfect for all of that, but as I bought the pencil as well, I’ve discovered screen real estate is lacking for things such as document annotation, larger drawings, etc.

The size is smaller than the previous Mini (but the screen is a bit larger). That being said, this will never be a one handed device. The tighter bezels make one handed holding a bit less comfortable than my old Mini, and I still have to prop it or my arm up to use while reclining.

However it beats anything bigger for this type of use, so my complaints are minor. Performance is great, and as it’s the latest chip, it will have a little more software upgrade life, something that should be a consideration in any Apple product purchase.

A few more observations: -Battery life is just fine. Depends on use anyway. -iOS 15 makes split screen use much easier. -The cameras are quite good for this device. The rear camera is fine in a pinch, with the added bonus of being able to edit it right on the device.

The front camera is very good and brings another dimension to the device for FaceTime, Zoom calls etc. -Home Screen customization with widgets is adequate, but not as interactive as I would like. -64 gig size is ok unless you download stuff.

If that’s the case you pretty much have to pony up for the 264, which kind of spoils the price point for this device. Kind of shady by Apple and they probably could have sold a gazillion more of these with 128 gig in the base model.

Finally, the Apple Pencil is a nice accessory (as long as it fits the budget), even for casual use. Writing and drawing is lifelike and the tool set works really nice. A matte screen protector will be necessary for anything more than casual use though as the bare screen is too slick for precise use.

I really didn’t need it to be honest, but I’ve happily discovered it to be really nice for taking quick notes, journaling, even normal touch screen use such as scrolling and tapping rather than using my finger.

No regrets on this purchase.

Context: I bought an iPad mini because I wanted to read more books, news, and long articles on a device that did not distract me constantly with notifications and social media like my phone does. So far, it has served that purpose very well.

I did not download any social media apps to my iPad, and I do not have access to my work email on it either. I probably use it 75% of the time for reading articles and news, as well as. epub and. pdf books with the Apple Books app, and 25% of the time for streaming sports and TV.

The battery life is good but not amazing. If I have many browser tabs open and/or am streaming video, the battery lasts maybe 3/4 of a full day of use at max brightness. I say max brightness because the screen is not super bright; in a bright room or in sunlight I usually wish I could make the screen “10% brighter”.

The speakers are great and get pretty loud. The iPad mini has been a great investment for reading. Outside of work and higher ed, I had not been reading very much in the past few years–maybe an hour a day of books, articles, news combined–before purchasing my iPad mini.

Now I read for anywhere from 2-5 hours per day. The iPad mini is the perfect size to mimic a page of a book. Also because I do not have any social media on it and turned off most notifications, I can read for long periods of time without getting distracted like I do when using my phone (which has work email, and multiple messaging and social media apps which constantly ping and distract me).

The 64gb size is fine for my use patterns. I only download books to my iPad so I don’t require the storage space someone downloading tons of tv and movies would require. I don’t own an Apple Pencil and do not to do any “handwriting” with my iPad mini.

I assume the screen would be a little small for handwriting notes anyway. My only gripes are minor: I wish the iPad used Face ID, had better battery life, and a brighter screen. Apart from that, it’s been a great investment and I recommend one to anyone who wants a device for reading, high quality viewing (2266-by-1488), and great portability.

I absolutely LOVE this iPad! I only paid $359+ tax! I got it when the new iPad Air came out in September. It is now mid-October, so I have been using & loving the device for about 6 weeks! When I purchased the device, it was part of a sale on the mini for $399 from $499.

I then got an additional $40 off because I chose the “renewed” version, for the total price of $359! It came in the exact same apple box with all components. The iPad is perfect! No scratches, easy to hold, fast, light, and portable.

I love that it use USB-C like the iPad Pros and most other devices these days. I would not pay $499 (the typical asking price) for this product. For $399 or less, it is a fantastic deal! It is definitely a niche product for people who want a smaller device.

I love it for streaming, email, reading, and general internet browsing. (TIP! Whenever new apple products come out or if there is a holiday sale, the prices of their products drop DRAMATICALLY! I only buy iPads/laptops on sale.

These sales are extremely consistent and predictable. ) I used to have the iPad mini 4, but by 2022 it was too slow to do any meaningful browsing. I much prefer browsing on my iPad mini 6 vs. my iPhone 13 or my MacBook Air.

It is light, fits my hands well, is enough screen to stream and read, and the browsing is FAST! I highly recommend this device to anyone looking for an additional iPad for recreational purposes. Something to note is that the finger scanner button is on the top right of the device and the volume buttons are on the top left of the device.

I will note that I also have a regular ipad 9th generation that I use with a folio keyboard case that was provided by the school I work at. I teach special education. I could not do any lesson planning or “work” on my iPad mini.

I consider my mini strictly a recreational device. Someone with larger hands or who prefer a larger screen may prefer the cheaper 9th generation iPad which starts at $329 as their daily device (eg. My dad), or if you need something faster and lighter with more technological features, the new iPad Air which starts at $699, might be for you (eg.

Student, software engineer, trader, architect). I will also note that I am impressed with how well the regular ipad 9th generation has held up with rigorous daily use for my work. At the time of buying the iPad Air, there was not enough of a difference for me to justify buying the iPad Pro 2020. However when the iPad Pro M1 came out, I began to second guess my purchase. However, at the time I was enjoying the iPad Air and wasn’t experiencing any reason to take back the iPad Air and make an exchange.

When I started using the iPad Air for work that is when my needs changed and my wants. Everything about the iPad Air is great, do not get me wrong. Just that I had the MacBook Air M1, and still do, and Apple silicone in it is great.

It made me start to think though, what would the experience be like when having the M1 in an iPad? I ended up taking the iPad Air back just in time and exchanged it for the iPad M1 11 inch. I had the 12.

9 iPad Pro 2018 for the longest time, but found myself wanting the smaller 11inch because the size was just right for my needs. The smaller size is just much more portable, I didn’t need the upgraded display nor the extra price tag.

After making my exchange, I saw what I had been missing from owning the iPad Air 2020. I do enjoy Face ID over using my fingerprint, especially when I am using the iPad as a desktop computer. I also enjoy gaming on my iPad more now especially the 120z display.

Also I use the iPad for work, and with the M1 chip I don’t have to worry about any work I throw at it. I love what Microsoft has done with its apps for the iPad. It’s a world of a difference from what it was like when Microsoft’s office apps were first offered in the App Store.

You can now have multiple spreadsheets open now in excel, and that goes for PowerPoint as well. I like their approach used in the navigation bar compared to its desktop cousin version. I feel the menu system in the iPad version is organized better and I can actually find the right tools for what I need to do.

Because my work now uses teams, its a breeze to share documents and files over the 24MB. I don’t mind the black bars on my display when using an external monitor, after a while I don’t even notice them.

My recommendation, if you are only using the iPad for personal use and you want to use the updated Magic accessories and slightly bigger screen I would buy the Air. However, if you want a more capable, slightly even bigger screen, faster and you plan on using the Microsoft Office suite a lot, then I would buy the Pro; and of course if you plan on being a content creator or influencer on YouTube ;).

This is the first Apple product I have purchased. I expected top notch quality based on the feedback from people I know with Apple products, and Apple’s reputation they have created precedes them. I only switched to an iPad from an Android one for Adobe Fresco and Illustrator and Procreate since none of them are available on the Android platform.

The Apple Pencil was a consideration vs. competitors as well, but not a deal breaker as I’m fine with other pens. The first iPad I got had a speck of dust between the glass and screen. It was barely noticeable when the screen was on, but I finally decided to return it because I didn’t know if it would create a problem, especially with pressure sensitivity–which that in itself is important for drawing.

Best Buy of course swapped it out no problem when I showed them. The associate I got said he had never seen that before. (However, discussion boards are littered with stories of the same, I have now found.

) We opened the second iPad right then and there and both looked over the screen. Seemingly now problems. When I got home, I looked at it under brighter lighting and discovered a small scuff. Oh well, I thought.

I then tried out the Apple Pencil, and it would not drag smoothly across the screen except in a few small spots. It was almost like hitting fine sandpaper. It wasn’t the tip because it’s new for one, and two, the smooth and rough spots were in the exact same spots every time.

I ultimately decided to keep the one I had and not try again. Partially due to the hassle of it all, and partially because I will always have a glass screen protector on it anyway. (The cheap big box store one I got glides smoothly.

go figure. ) If Adobe ever brings Illustrator back to Android and brings Fresco over, I will be switching back to my go-to brand. Four cheap one expensive tablet, and 5 phones later, I only ever had an issue with one phone.

I’m 2 for 2 with Apple. Search “iPad dust under screen” and “iPad pencil not smooth” or “iPad rough glass” and see what you find before buying, lest you think this is a hoax review. It’s not just post-2020 situation stuff either.

We’ve had iPhones for years and been happy with them. And have briefly used the kids’ iPads who swear by them. An incentive to buy one ourselves was brought about by our frequent skyping with family back east previously done on the phone.

What a world of difference. We decided on the Air model with 64GB over the regular iPad 10. 2-inch because it’s noticeably thinner, the screen is bigger and some of the internals, etc are a big cut above.

The iPad Air has been called the Pro-Light and it essentially is from our comparisons in the store. 64GB is more than enough storage space unless you’re dropping tons of pictures, videos, movies, apps and whatnot on the thing.

We’re not. This device is a delight; easy to use, already loaded with stuff/apps right out of the box, fast, great graphics, decent camera, terrific HD screen and sound, responsive, connects seamlessly to wifi, and syncs nicely with the iPhone if you have one and want to do that.

You can use wireless earbuds of course, and your wired will work also but a small $10 jack adapter is needed for the lightning size wire. So far we have zero complaints. We didn’t buy a keyboard or pencil, only a nice high-end cover-case.

But finger action on-screen as with your phone is direct, clean, effortless as it is with a phone. Highly recommended device.

Having had the iPad Air 2 for more than 5 years now it was starting to show its age with some slow downs and with one of the kids having the better screen of the iPad Air 4th gen I finally decided to go for the iPad Pro instead of the air for a little bit extra.

I have been impressed by the responsiveness and speed of carrying out typical browsing and reading tasks with everything snappy. I have also taken advantage of the LiDAR Scanner to scan some rooms of the house for diy renovation projects with a free piece of software on the App Store (also options for IKEA etc.

for home decorating) which was really straightforward to capture and generate 3D models as well as measurements. Something I couldnt have done with the new Air. Watching movies and tv series is a much improved experience with the 4 stereo speakers sounding pretty decent with much better bass.

So far I havent tried to use a keyboard and mouse to see how it is as a laptop replacement which would (or should) be an option for many people. support for mice and keyboards and now with office software easily available this should be a more portable option for many.

The files app has also improved but still not as flexible as on macOS but still more than usable for creating folders and files and navigating around. The lack of some pro apps such as Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro etc.

may still out people off but there are a huge variety of apps and Im sure in time the additional power of the pro will be used by some of the professional apps. All in all a great machine with a lot of power on the go.

I liked this iPad so much a bought 2. This one for me to do office work and to use as an interaction tool with my son – we color pictures, play learning games, etc… and if anyone is looking for that reason, Apple Arcade is awesome for young kids, but the you don’t necessarily need the pro to take advantage of it! And one for my wife with larger storage for her video editing work… We’re both really looking forward to the new iPad OS updates, though an iPad is still not a replacement for an actual laptop with a proper OS.

iPad has come a long way, but I need to be able to connect multiple drives, offload mem cards from different cameras for on site back up, and preview various video formats on a regular basis. For that kind of work, the iPad isn’t the right tool, but for everything else the iPad is pretty great and the m1 is a really nice chip to be working with for this kind of format.

I originally bought the new iPad Air because it has the m1 as well now, but after taking a step back realized how many more features the pro line gives you for basically the same price as the Air with upgraded storage – which is what I almost bought.

The pro-motion display is tangibly nice to work with, the full thunderbolt 4 port – though hampered by the OS – is great to have in the right situations, and my son and I also like the on board speakers and sound quality over other models like the Air.

In general, it’s just a little nicer in just the right places so that you feel like you’re working with the best iPad has to offer, and the price to performance ratio starting at 128gigs instead of 64 is perfect for everyday use.

My previous iPad was the standard model (not a Pro or Air) from 2017 or 18 when they first introduced stylus support… Honestly for a device that gets switched out every 3-5 years, iPads are pack leaders for a reason, and since iPad OS will most likely never cross over to the standard Mac OS despite carrying similar specs, I plan on using this one for another 3-5 years before I even consider upgrading again – The 11inch is the prefect size for durability with reduced surface area that’s still easy to protect and maintain amazing overall performance, these things also run forever and I’m looking forward to putting my first pro model through it’s paces 🙂 Lastly, the M series processors also mark a massive shift in the apple mobile line up, I suspect it’ll be a while before app developers can consider the m1 specs to be the new standard moving forward, so older iPads can stay relevant, but when they do eventually make that shift, m1 will be the new standard not m2 or 3 or 4, meaning if you pick this up now you’ll get the longest possible development support for iPad going forward, that’s how big of shift this is compared to previous generations :).

I absolutely love my iPad Pro 11 inch 3rd generation 256gb with the M1 chip. I love using this iPad for streaming, photo slideshows, and especially note taking for college. I traded in my 256gb iPad Mini 6 for the iPad Pro 11 inch 3rd gen because I started feeling like my iPad Mini was way too small for note taking, amazing for portability though, but I totally love having the 2.

7 inch wider screen difference than having a mini sized iPad. Amazing, all day battery (and then some), outstanding sound and audio quality with Dolby Atmos. Yes, the M1 chip has a lot of power compared to an iPhone and an intel MacBook/iMac, but with all of that raw and amazing power comes outstanding graphics, amazing sound quality, and very smooth screen resolution.

If you’re deciding between an M1 chip iPad Air 256gb or an M1 chip iPad Pro 256gb whether it be the 11 inch or 12. 9 inch model, trust me when I say this, paying the extra $50-$150 for the Pro model iPad is absolutely worth it especially if you’re trading in a slightly older iPad like I did that has a $300+ trade in value.

Also, as far as a weight comparison goes, compared to the iPad Mini 6, even though the iPad Mini 6 is light as a feather, the Pro model iPad is literally only a 0. 3-0. 5 pound heavier than the iPad Mini 6, but I don’t feel the weight difference between the 2 iPad models at all.

One last thing, the Pro model iPad is so much sleeker and thinner and nowhere near as bulky on the bezels as the iPad mini 6 and iPad Air 4/5 are.

I had a 2020 iPad Pro 11 and wanted a 5G pro 11 for work. The difference between these two are some what different and a major upgrade. So I use it as a work device and play on it after work is done.

It’s very dependable, long lasting battery, and a well balanced size and easy to carry. I have been in different places with Verizon networking is been fun and exciting but 5G sounds more fun just faster.

I did upgrade from 512 gigs to 1 terabyte and that’s what slammed me towards the newer one vs repurchase a current version unit. So I waited and just love it. I am so picky on a dependable and stylish case for it.

But after paying a lot for the iPad I want it protected against damage, got the ipencil, and other gizmos to help with this portable more like a temporary desktop version. It’s nice and glad I got it.

Don’t miss out and I’ve done research and this is my best across the board best fit. Memory, weight, travels well, high power functioning, secure it in a lock bag or carry it on or hold it vs leaving it behind, it’s very desirable and theft wanted.

Spring for apple care or check out your insurance company for device insurance. Get it if you can. But I love this iPad, and it does so much more. Good luck.

The 2021 iPad Pro 12. 9″ with M1 is the premier tablet on the market. Smooth, fast, and beautiful. Apple made a few changes to the 2021 iPad Pro 12. 9″, most notably the inclusion of the M1 chip and the gorgeous XDR display.

The M1 chip is a nice addition, but right now, it still feels like overkill. I switched to the M1 MacBook Pro in 2020 and the improvements were astounding. Those improvements don’t really seem to have quite the same impact on the iPad, and that’s mostly because it’s still a victim to iPadOS.

I don’t imagine that Apple has any plans on allowing its iPads to run MacOS, due to cannibalization of the MacBook market, but iPadOS has its limitations. I do not think the iPad is ready to replace your laptop quite yet, but the power is there to do so.

Apps do tend to pick back up where you left them off more quickly than in previous gens. The XDR display, overall, is pretty gorgeous. Streaming movies, TV shows, YouTube, etc. is really something else.

It is a pretty nice and noticeable upgrade over the previous gen. With that said, the XDR display does also suffer from some moderate blooming effects, most notably when you have a bright white image or text displaying against deep black background.

It’s not terrible, but it is something to be aware of. The battery life is essentially identical to previous generations, and Apple reflects that in its specs. What additional battery life that might have been gained with the M1 chip was probably immediately sucked away with the inclusion of the XDR display.

Battery life is totally fine, it’s just not better. Is it worth upgrading? If your iPad is at the end of its life or you just really, really want the top-of-the-line tablet on the market, sure, it’s a great option.

If you have a previous gen iPad Pro and you’re perfectly happy with the quality of the display, it probably isn’t worth upgrading. At least not until they bring MacOS to the iPad.

I’m a power user in the tech industry. Which means I will dive deeper into the specs on performance and capabilities, before buying. Everything matters to me and that adds the look, feel, function, reliability of the product itself and the company’s history.

Then, I take all of that information and project how long I’m likely to use the product, before I outgrow it. I purchased this iPad Pro 12. 9, 4th Generation with 1 TB, WIFI + Cellular instead of waiting for the 5th Generation.

Why? My research leads me to believe the only differences between the two tablets is updated marketing materials and changed names on a few internal components. Same car – different paint. If you find a 4th Gen that exceeds your needs and expectations for the next 1-5 yrs.

– buy it – and save some money. I saved $400 now and will not be tempted to buy another tablet for a couple of years. This iPad has the right depth of features and performance for all college students (thru Ph.

D) in all majors and all professionals. However, professionals should seriously consider adding Cellular to virtually guarantee reliable connection to the cloud and their organization. Lastly, YouTube videos showing how to use the features in iPads are easier to understand, than reading what I can write with words.

Good but heaps of undisclosed info. I am not expecting a flawless brand new looking iPad as I am aware I am purchasing a 5-6 year old used gadget. My problem with this purchase is that there are just heaps of undisclosed information in regard to the honest condition of the item.

Apparently the screen has already been replaced, the replacement screen hasnt been placed properly that there was even a strand of hair poking out from the space between the glass screen and aluminum case body.

Even the replacement screen is pretty scratched up and not in the best condition, not broken but its well used, the aluminum casing is just badly dented in all corners and sides, and the home button with touch ID is also wonky and clicks kind of funny.

I just managed to put on a screen protector and case on to make a bit more less unattractive and more delightful to use.

I am a very serious opera fan and the sound of voices on 1st generation 2015 12. 9 inch ipad pros is much better than on brand new ones currently available for sale in Apple stores at more than twice the price of what I paid for this one.

I am very lucky to somehow have found this one from an electronics dealer which was brand new and not refurbished or previously used. I am also very glad that the one I purchased is cellular 4G compatible and is equipped with 256 gigabytes of storage which was the highest memory capacity Apple made available for sale in this model, I will be very happy to get as many years of this wonderful voice sound quality as I can even after Apple will no longer make this model available for higher level software upgrades.

I would consider buying a brand new 12. 9 inch ipad pro from Apple in the future after this one will no longer be able to play opera and classical lieder videos for me on youtube and itunes and on Apple Music only if that new model will be able to reproduce voices in opera and classical lieder as well as this one can.

After all these years this is still the one to purchase for opera lovers.

I’ve been having an awesome time with my iPad thanks to the PaperLike. It has completely changed my drawing experience and I’m loving the feel of every stroke on my drawing apps. It’s just so good! There’s just one tiny thing.

There have been moments where my Apple Pencil gets this intense resistance out of nowhere, as if it hit a groove or a pothole of sorts, and gets stuck for a second. It like a gritty feeling texture. I immediately check my Pencil tip to look for abrasions and thankfully nothing harmful has happened yet.

It happens occasionally and I’ve tried to capture this issue on my phone but I miss it every time. I don’t know if this is a real issue with the product or if it’s just me, but I thought to put it across nevertheless.

Since the recurrence is low, I just ignore it. The experience as a whole has been brilliant. I wholeheartedly recommend this product. It’s a must-have for a smooth drawing experience on the iPad! Thank you to all the amazing designers at PaperLike! Keep up the good work for helping us creatives!😁.

I bought this over a year ago and wanted to do a long term review. I work in research and medical education and started using an iPad with pencil for both. Basically I had need of something that could allow me to annotate drawings and papers for research and to make videos and educational material.

The glass surface, reflectance and fingerprint smudge on the iPad screen make this basically impossible for professional, ongoing work The Paperlike is well made; its lasted a year of robust use (5 days per week; about 2-5 hours use per day).

The surface is as advertised – like paper. The friction is just right and actually makes using the iPad as a note-taking or annotating or drawing tablet a lot more feasible. I am surprised how little the image quality suffers – I bought a cheaper matte screen protector for my MacBook and the difference is really obvious.

The Paperlike is clearly better designed and the image quality is preserved and brightness minimally affected by the layer on the screen. I would highly recommend this for university students who are using the iPad as a note keeping tool which is the usual use case I run into.

And for people who use the tablet and pencil as a Wacom-type device with Sidecar or screen mirroring with their main laptop/PC. If you need to use the iPad as a workhorse drawing tablet of any kind I cannot see how that is possible with the iPad screen as it comes out of the box Finally I the service was professional and everything arrived as requested and rapidly after ordering from this site.

I was not offered this as a test sample etc so have not been compensated or commissioned in any way for this review. Impressed. I would suggest they consider making a good quality matte screen protector for macbooks – I would buy it because the ones available on the market are rubbish by comparison to their excellent product.

And I think there’s a market out there for people who prefer a matte finish to their screens for reflectance and smudge issues.

I bought this from John Lewis Reading to replace my ageing MacBook air but also for the touchscreen so that I could try some digital drawing and painting. I bought the apple pencil for it. I bought the magic keyboard too as I touch type and enjoy that feature.

Overall the kit weight is similar to a MacBook Air. It doesn’t open as easily a laptop as there is no recess to put ones finger. It only has one input socket, a usb-c, but with a hub added I can use external ssd drives, earphones, image cards etc.

The screen quality is great, the speed of processing is great and my apps and data transferred easily from my older machine, including passwords and other security sensitive data making it easy to carry on where the older machine left off.

The iPad interface is similar to an apple smartphone, and its not difficult to get used too if you use iPhones. Using digital artwork apps is very satisfying, the experience is very close to using pen and paper.

I need to use it a lot to get quality and facility as there is so much to learn. If it wasn’t for the desire to explore digital drawing and painting I would have bought another laptop and if any apple laptops came with a touchscreen I would revert to using them in the future.

As I bought the 12. 9″ screen this is not a highly portable device and it is relatively heavy to use for book reading. Nevertheless I do read with it using the magic keyboard to prop the iPad open on a sofa arm.

Though expensive, I’m glad I bought this iPad, it’s a great tool for creativity and I look forward to years of usefulness and pleasure.

I am pleased with my purchase but a little frustrated with some of the limitations I have come to realise exist. The iPad Pro, for all its power, is not a replacement for a MacBook Pro, even some apps that run on the iPhone do not run in the same way on the iPad e.

g. the Fitness App. I bought this with the Magic Keyboard and the Apple pencil both are good options but certainly not cheap and I think that perhaps a regular iPad case with a separate bluetooth keypad might be the better option (providing it will link up OK – I not checked it!) The pencil is great and works very well with the Apps that support it.

In my opinion the iPad and pencil make a far better combination than the Remarkable pad, which while very good is limited to black and white and has no app capability. In reality the iPad plus pencil is really all that is needed, I tend to use my iPad when sitting down relaxing i.

e. not at a desk so the keypad is not essential as the onscreen keyboard and pencil is very usable and effective. Probably as well going for the iPad with WiFi and Cellular capability, I did not but but the extra may be worth it.

Only regret is that I got this only a short while ago and now Apple has come out with a new iPad Pro with the M1 chip and full 5G!!.

Upgraded today from a 2nd gen iPad 11in. And wow. the display is so much crisper. Also, the battery life is amazing. I drew on procreate for about an hour, and still had 99% battery. My old iPad would have been at 70% after an hour.

The reason I upgraded was because I only had 64gb of storage space, and as an artist. you run out of room after a while. I also didn’t want to go through my pictures and paintings to pick and choose what could stay.

So, instead I upgraded! The sound on this model isn’t fantastic. but I don’t really use my iPad for watching videos so it doesn’t matter. It seems to open apps a lot faster, and just seems snappier in general.

I have been considering the possibility of replacing my basic iPad and MacBook with an iPad since Apple introduced iPadOS 13. I finally decided to go with it and I am really pleased. I am not sure this would be the route for you if you need to use the iPad for a full working day or with certain professional software packages but for my mix of home working and personal computing it is fantastic.

Great screen, fast, stable, and versatile. I have paired it with the magic keyboard and it’s convertible nature is so good. Using as a laptop when I am writing a report or doing a spreadsheet. Using as a tablet for note taking, reading in bed, game playing etc.

As a tablet it is lovely to hold, thin in the hand, with quite a nice sense of grip, although you may want to think about accidental damage cover given the price tag. I opted for the 11 inch model because for me the 12.

9″ would have been too heavy and large for tablet use. I think that the 11 inch is the perfect blend of screen size as a laptop and weight as a tablet. To sum up I love the screen and speed and sheer versatility of the iPad over my old MacBook.

In terms of John Lewis, they were able to supply this within a couple of days, unlike Apple who were quoting nearly 1 month delivery at the time I placed my order. Again thumbs up John Lewis.

This iPad has been such a game changer for me. I upgraded from the iPad Air 2 and I am happy I did this. I decided to buy this one over the brand new iPad 9th gen because of the 120Hz refresh rate, 600 nits brightness, higher quality rear camera and quad speakers.

I use this iPad for almost everything – notetaking at school, annotating files, doing assignments, consuming media and other internet shenanigans. Paired with an Apple Pencil, It is a great notetaking device and has allowed me to greatly reduce the amount of things I carry in my bag, as I’ve got all my notebooks and textbooks on the thin and light iPad.

Not only is high refresh rate great for notetaking, it also makes gaming so much more enjoyable. Media consumption is AWESOME, I absolutely love the speakers on this tablet and the 4:3 aspect ratio is perfect for watching older shows, this is something that I highly appreciate and it is a feature I miss on the newer iPad designs.

No curves on the display means that no information is cut-off, and I value this a lot. As far as performance with the A10 chip, I have not experienced any major slow-downs. For it’s age this tablet still performs very well, I have only experienced some frame drops when scrolling through the UI and gaming for longer periods of time.

For battery life, I get around 6 hours on a full charge with about half brightness and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth always on. There are a few things that I don’t like: Charging takes pretty long, even with the faster plug.

The Apple Pencil charging method is silly. Lightning port. I do recognise that the last two issues have been resolved with the newer models and I am happy for this. Overall, this product has exceeded my expectations and is one of my favourite purchases of this year.

If you can find a good deal on this, get it!.

It nice having four speakers sound is better then phone but need speaker for bass. if movie or music but for portable would still rank it high for sound quality! It ties in with the phone so you can recieve and make calls without phone being next to you! The creek size is great and am glad I didnt go with 12.

9 as this is big enough for what I do to carry n tote some times larger is just larger! The 120htz screen is way fast and picture quality is very nice and of course with all of the adjustment you can set things the way you prefer as to contrast brightness and many others settings you can adjust! Its light and a little over a pound with the cover and dont have the pen yet so cant comment on that however I did put a glass on it for protection and it does not interfere with swipe or any motions on screen however its much easier to keep clean or clean and theres less glare I believe! The typing screen is hard to adjust to from phone but they offer three choices to set that up so Ill be on number two shortly !! Hate all of the set up stuff!! Its great for the money and I dont know that youd get much more other then a few things to have latest and greatest! Perfect for what I use it for movie and you tube portable occasional texting larger is better there!!.

This item was purchased for a Christmas gift. The case had been listed as having one broken corner, but still usable. Upon arrival, the case had two corners that were broken, meaning that the case could no longer be used.

The pencil was unable to be paired with the tablet. We tried on multiple other tablets, did troubleshooting with apple care online and had to take it in for a technition to tell us the pencil was not working and would have to be refurbished.

The pencil was also missing the “female to female” charger (which was initially not a huge concern as the pencil should be able to charge into the ipad without it, but since the pencil is not working at all.

) Having two items that have to be completely replaced makes this a complete waste of money and a huge disappointment.

I have used all different highend laptops, convertible laptops/tablets. I had Microsoft Surface Pro and also have Surface Book2. Both of them can be used as tablet or full blown laptop. But when it comes to my recently purchased ipad pro 12.

9 (with magic keyboard) it is waste of money. Apple added a key board to give look and feel that this tablet can work as your laptop but other than browsing, few editing projects, using Microsoft office to certain extent it cannot do much.

Forget about other browsers available on iPad Pro the apple’s safari browser is not capable of opening many browser based apps and meeting (Facebook meeting, Microsoft team web etc. ). If you are a developer then you can buy it for fun other activities but you cannot use it programming or work related activities.

Apple tried to copy Microsoft surface pro of having keyboard but Apple failed.

This is under-developed device. Very glitchy screen, no file menu in the original OS, archaic 30-40 years-old-style file menu in the OS14. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand does – apps on the device don’t talk to each other well, hard to connect them, files aren’t easily exchanged.

Also, super hard to send videos from it, not easy to connect to a PC. Camera is good. This device is only good for internet browsing, pix, watching videos, emails and maybe Garage Band, if you are into it.

Nothing else, because it doesn’t have enough brain power and is extremely poorly designed in the most outdated way, like it comes from early 1980s system-wise. Complete waste of money, pretty much. Even battery life gets not that great after awhile.

All these ads and reviews about taking iPad to work in place of a PC are complete lies.

The Apple iPad Pro 12. 9 inch is amazing for graphic designers and artists of all kinds. While it’s price is certainly high for most consumer tablets, it is by far the most superior non-commercial drawing tablet on the market today.

In combination with the Apple Pencil, the iPad Pro makes digital drawing feel almost like drawing on paper. With a wide variety of drawing apps available on the App Store your can find the program that works best for your techniques and change a few settings to get the feel of drawing on it just right.

That’s just for drawing. The iPad Pro is also basically a mini computer, like any tablet, that allows you to check email, social media, play games, and surf the web easily. The new split screen feature is wonderful for pulling up drawing references on the fly in safari while your drawing window is open on the other side of the screen.

The huge 12. 9 inch screen makes this experience lovely. Digital artists can say goodbye to having your phone screen dim on you just as you were trying to look at that reference on your phone. I would say that if you’re in the market for an iPad for a creative field or business field with a focus on note taking and presenting then this is the superior tablet choice.

Especially if you’re already someone with an Apple phone or laptop since connectivity is seamless between devices for Apple. However, if you’re just looking for student tablet or a tablet to read ebooks on, check social media and play games then I would suggest a lower cost model.

If you don’t have any Apple devices at all already then I would look into what Microsoft or the other tech companies have on offer as well.

Works fine. Replaces a broken one. No problem transferring recent backup to make this one the same as the broken one. I do have a huge beef. but it is not directed at WalMart or Magnakom. I am sick of having Apples highly polished slippery products fall or drop from my hand.

Unless I buy sticky patches and correct this, phones, tablets, and computers are always at mortal risk. I realize that the typical Apple user is both careful enough not to drop it, or wealthy enough to afford to break them, but people like me are not impressed by hardware that is designed to be licked on stage at the annual Developer’s Conference.

You can’t just buy hardware. You have to buy protective accessories for them, or you will find yourself replacing them.

I could not live without my iPad. I am on it all day long, probably about 11 hrs a day, 7 days a week. It helps me keep distracted so I’m not focused on my chronic pain. I love the app selection in the app store.

I love the system and how I can do multiple things at once like have Netflix plating and minimized in the corner while playing another game or browsing the web. This is my second iPad, my first one lasted me well over 5 years.

As an experienced iPad user I looked around for a replacement for my ageing mini iPad 2. I settled on the new 10. 2″ 64GB iPad2021. Ebay (and especially the marketplace section on Facebook!) were awash with adverts for every type of iPad.

It was confusing to see adverts for this iPad advertising it second hand for far more than John Lewis were asking for it new – whilst also saying they got it from John Lewis! Bonkers or what? Ordering it was easy, but waiting was not.

Instant gratification had to be delayed whilst I was electronically assured it was in stock & the order accepted/ dispatched / tracked/ imminently to arrive. It is a while since I opened a brand new Apple device and I had forgotten how much attention is paid to the initial look and feel of the product.

Everything tells you this is a special product to be treated with due reverence. Well, blow that for a game of cards! I was instantly on it starting it up and seeing what such a bigger screen looked like (fantastic!) and how responsive it was (light years faster than my old iPad mini!).

But although it was the same basic system, iOs15 is also very different from my older machine – a veritable racehorse next to a nodding donkey. So don’t be surprised to hear that the former nodding donkey owner is constantly being ambushed by a system that seems a lot smarter than he is.

Things ‘happen’ on screen and you wonder why, and how to reverse them too? Don’t get me wrong – I wouldn’t go back for a moment, but this horse trainer has some serious learning to do before I get the best out of my new machine.

Of course, I had to get a keyboard for it and chose the Logitech Rugged Folio case. Logitech claims the materials ‘exceed military-standard drop tests. ‘ Somehow I can’t bring myself to put this claim to the test, I’m just content with the greater protection and flexibility of use it offers.

In short – it was a great buy at a great price but also it also requires people like me (72 years young) to have a bit of an ‘owners upgrade’ – I wonder if John Lewis offers one of those too?.

This iPad is currently the least expensive current model offered by Apple, and it’s sufficient for just about any general task. The core chip (A13) is nearly three years old as of the time of this review (May 2022), but it’s a very capable CPU.

If all you’re looking to do is basic web browsing, email checking, streaming music and/or videos, and using social media apps, this tablet is plenty for your needs. If you’re doing more specialized tasks, such as photo editing, music creation, or anything else which might eat up storage, you might want to look for a model with more than 64GB of storage.

Despite Apple having a good track record of providing OS updates for their devices far longer than what’s offered by its Android counterparts, the lack of storage expansion and the difficulty involved with replacing the battery effectively make this a disposable device.

I cringe when I think of the millions of these devices that will be in the landfill in ten years. Despite Apple’s efforts at providing a recycling program, the reality is that very few people will use that option.

Instead, Apple should move to a design which allows for an end-user replaceable battery to keep the device usable for years to come. (PS – it’s also time to ditch the lightning connector and fully move to USB-C!).

Not the latest and greatest, but performance is on-par w/ current 4th gen iPad Air, which is to say it is FAST. The laminated screen that goes almost to the edge is beautiful. WiFi is not the latest but plenty fast around the house.

The cellular model is only 4G LTE, but you’re not going to be streaming movies on the cell networks anyway. I don’t use the iPad to take pictures, so the camera is secondary to me. Perhaps the best part is if you use the iPad with the Apple Pencil 2 to do any kind of sketching, drawing, or note taking, the 120Hz refresh on all the iPad Pro’s (including this one, but not the Air) makes a tremendous difference.

It’s like writing on paper due to the lack of screen lag that you’d see on the lesser iPads. Since you can find the 1st gen 11″ Pro for a good deal less than the current iPad Air, this is a fantastic deal.

I have a retina iPad but its pretty much only been good for media, games and email. I got this gen3 for writing and art. Paired with an Apple Pencil and a brydge keyboard it is PERFECT for my needs. Way better combo than a MacBook for art and everything together is still less expensive than one too! The only thing I miss is the headphone jack.

iPad pro gen3 is supper responsive and runs all my apps well. Scrivener and Affinity are a perfect fit. Battery easily lasts a work day so I just plug it in at night and were good to go in the morning.

I used to be tethered to my desktop and Wacom cintiq but now I can go anywhere and be comfortable while I work! Will buy again.

The first I-Pad Pro 9. 7 I purchased for my granddaughter was a used one. I was so amazed at the quality and specs. that when she accidentally damaged the charging port, I decided to purchase the same model.

This one had twice the GB total size 256. As far as I can tell it appeared to be like brand new. or maybe a factory second. Runs like a charm. The actual size of the IPad is perfect for her to handle.

It was easy to set up using her Apple I-D and now she has all the items and Apps her damaged one had, with more capacity for her to download more of her favorite Apps. What I love most, I can FaceTime her and see that wonderful smile.

The FaceTime display is remarkably bright, and Crystal clear. The sound quality is fantastic. voice, movie and music. Even though it is an earlier model, I would have no problem purchasing a third 9.

7 if the need arises. By the way, my Granddaughter is only 10 and she can handle the IPad Pro 9. 7 like a PRO.

Sauf que sur tous les débuts de rouleaux il y a un défaut à savoir une barre tous les 25 cm sur une longueur de 75 cm, j’ai ainsi perdu 1 lé par rouleau et obligé d’acheter ces 2 nouveaux rouleaux par chance du même bain 27 série 2021.

I am so glad I bought this wallpaper. I was sceptical buying wallpaper online as I have never done it before and would rather like to physically see it before purchasing but I am so glad i did. It looks amazing up and has completely changed the look of my room.

It’s more a dusky pink than a bright pink which I’m happy about. There was a bit of wastage but that is expected of wallpaper with a floral or continuous pattern. Overall amazing looking wallpaper, great quality and a good price.

I would definately recommend.

I put this in an upstairs bedroom, it is simply stunning. I have seen similar in wallpaper book catalogues for over €30 and nothing quite as nice. Also it matches up very easily so little waste. I had a little left over and put on the upright parts of my shelving, my shelves are plain white and it’s a little splash of colour every time I open the doors to the wardrobe! I would definitely recommend this wallpaper.

Very calm but also not a cold blue. I’m delighted with my choice in this wallpaper. A warm spring day inside even when it’s miserable weather outside. Uplifting!.

Looks nice and bright once it’s up, has a silver highlight and is very pretty. I did struggle a bit with the hanging, it wasn’t the easiest paper, texture like thick printer paper, not vinyl, not great flexibility if you have uneven walls! I’m not an expert decorator though but I would say I’ve found other papers a bit easier to hang.

Worth the effort once up for this price.
