Best Waifu Fire Emblem Fates (2025 Updated)

The visuals are way better than FE Awakening (previous 3DS game), and the gameplay is a bit more complex. Now enemies can use pair-up/dual attack mechanics, which previously was restricted to only the player’s units.

Also, enemy skills are more varied and will make it much harder to “tank” enemy waves with a single overpowered unit. Additionally the “My Castle” mechanic lets you share your creativity with others, and even battle teams created by other players.

My main criticism is the game’s story, which can be kinda nonsensical at times, but IMO this isn’t a huge deal. Unfortunately I could not finish the game because I lost my cart. :/.

Considered to be the more difficult of the two releases in comparison to its counterpart Fire Emblem #birthright. This game keeps up with the traditional elements of #fireemblem that I’ve grown to love.

The storyline kind of feels a bit like the non-canon version of the story, but the gameplay helps redeem that. #Conquest is considered harder than #birthright because their is no opportunity for grinding your characters up.

you must be strategic in whom you give your experience to, because battles are limited. Long gone are the reeking boxes of #FireEmblemAwakening. This game is a great addition to any #Nintendo3DS owner.

If you’re gonna get the physical copy and you are an experienced FE player, get Conquest. It is hard and reminds me of older FE games – but the DLC aspect does make things easier. If you are a novice get Birthright.

I am a diehard fan and got both, which has decent story for each. Revelations is the DLC only full sized game, the last of the ‘trilogy’ if you will. I love the ‘my castle’ option and gifting people stuff left and right.

And the gameplay is awesome, vast improvements from FE: Awakening. If you enjoy a story-driven strategy game try this out.

Nintendo got everything right in this Fire Emblem iteration. I don’t know where to start! The speedy interface/game, the story, the characters are all worth the price and you can download the other two paths as DLC for only 20$ each! For around 100$ you’re getting a whole heck of a lot of replayable game and no, FE Conquest and FE Birthright are NOT the same game.

Amazing separate and affordable DLC available. Whole new amazing characters and storylines!.

The very first Fire Emblem game I ever received and I fell in love. The characters, soundtrack and mechanics feel like they were made for me. I’m a casual gamer and enjoy games that are more strategy or turn based.

Every iteration in the series is its own unique story so you don’t have to know anything or have played the other games to know what’s going on. Though there are easter eggs and references to those who have played the other games.

Fire Emblem is typically much harder than Three Houses, and this is no exception. The story is cheesy, the characters are mostly unlikable, but the gameplay is there. It’s certainly worth the time.

The game itself is one of the best in its franchise and one of the best DS/3DS games available. While the storyline itself is nothing special, the characters are written well and interact with each other in unique ways that make the story more engaging.

The service from the store was overall very good as well. I recieved the game faster than I had expected and in excellent condition. The slot in the case that holds the cartridge isn’t as tight as it should be but it still holds the cartridge just fine.

It’s just a knitpick as everything else was like buying the game new.

I absolutely loved this installment to the Fire Emblem series. Like many it was my first game and it got the ball rolling as far as my passion for the series. The characters and world are beautiful and their storylines are genuinely touching.

The game can be as straightforward or as difficult as you want it to be with Casual and Classic modes so it’s great for experts and beginners like myself. If you can get your hands on Awakening, I’d say buy it for sure :).

I have always been a fan of collecting “The Art Of” game and anime books. I figured it would be worth having since I’m an avid F. E Awakening fan, the game had lots of beautiful artwork after all and I was intrigued by having the character design development in my hands.

This book IS HUGE and quite heavy but worth every penny because it’s not just an art book, it’s also the entire game script! I’m talking all character dialogues with every other character on top of all the support conversations and all those epilogues at the end of the game with every result! I highly recommend this book to other collectors and avid fans of F.

E Awakening, I’d even recommend it to someone who just likes art books like this. It’s a great buy!.

Considering that this book was half the price of a new one, Id say that all of the minor scuffs and marks were worth it. My only problem was that the book was covered in a little bit of dirt, although i was able to wipe that off.

The spine is also loose.

This game is great i would leave it at that but i need to go into detail. It is a tactical turn based RPG and if you play on classic mode when a unit dies it wont come back next chapter so plan your moves carefully.

it has to coherent story lines birthright you fight for Hoshido and defend your home land conquest you fight with Nohr and side with those who raised you. Now for what i like the graphics are great, the field sprites look very nice and the battle models are very fluid the characters are very likable and the 2D animatied cutscenes put even Disney to shame and the song lost in thoughts all alone is just great.

it has a fortress builder witch is fun and there’s a Waifu system witch i still don’t understand why Japan likes Waifu but it affects how units pair up in battle and your avatar named Croin s completely customize able including gender name and voice now for what i dont like the villain is unlikable but i guess that’s his job but the sound track isnt very memorable lost in thoughts all alone is the only i can remember but over all it’s a great game 4/5 would play many MANY times but don’t waste time with amibo kinda lame.

My first entry to the series was fire emblem echoes shadows of valentia. Although, it is not fully voice acted like echoes, but the gameplay is great or as good as echoes. I also got this at a good price.

The shipping was very fast and on time. I think anyone who is interested in fire emblem or strategy games, they will enjoy it for sure. Im not that deep in the game play yet but I am enjoying it.

A real challenge to the newer games to the series. For those of you who have started out playing either Awakening or Fates, this will be a real change to the formula, and for those of you who started out with some of the older games, this will also appeal to you too.

The game harkens back to a more RPG style game play with a sense of free roaming in towns and cities, and dungeons scattered across the realm. The game also boasts some truly rounded characters with depth, complexity, and truly expressionate voice acting to boot.

Die hard fans of the Fire Emblem series will love this game, but it appeals to all fire emblem fans alike, as there is something that appeals to everyone. Whether looking for a challenge, an engaging story or simply a change to the format.

This is a real game changer.

I am very happy that Nintendo decided to remake Fire Emblem Gaiden, which was previously Japan-only and lavished it with so much love. While there are some innate issues due to the remake adhering to the source material, the production values (especially the full voice acting) are superb and really make the game stand out from the rest of the series.

As for the limited edition itself, overall it is a very nice package, although I would’ve loved to have the HD Movie Blu-Ray Collection that Japan got. While the amiibo are nice, I would have preferred to buy them separately because the amiibo ended up bloating up the package.

Also, I am pleased that Nintendo allowed a second chance to obtain it closer to the game’s release. Finally, I would have enjoyed a special gift for ordering from the Nintendo UK Store. For example a T-shirt like the one included in the standard edition.

I don’t understand why there’s disparity between the two editions.

A wonderful return to form. As much as I enjoyed Awakening and Fates, this is the first Fire Emblem since the Gameboy Advance titles that I’ve really loved. It never feels too padded, the dungeons far more satisfying for short grinding than the endless side missions of Awakening; I’m very glad the creepy first-person character interaction stuff is gone; the game is sufficiently challenging while the limited ability to turn back time allows for occasional experimentation without massive punishment.

Just a wonderful entry in a great series; it turns out that looking backward was the perfect way to move things forward.

This is a really fantastic game on a portable platform that is a great introduction in particular for players new to the Fire Emblem series or who are new to strategy-games more generally. Although certain features were much maligned by many long-time fans of the previous Fire Emblem games, such as casual mode, these modes actually make this game really approachable for players of all ages and players who don’t have much free time to devote to video games.

The levels are varied and challenging, especially on classic mode, the storyline is solid, and the characters are compelling and interesting.

After playing all of the other more recent fire Emblem games, I had to try this, at first I thought it was going to be less interesting and a quick ending game- boy was I wrong. I ended up spending many many hours hooked on this.

Just finished the entire game. I love it! It is a great game! I will say I do prefer the Birthright/conquest, and Three Houses games much more but this is a good one to start with!.

This is the first FE game that I have ever played and beaten, and it has left me as a huge fan of the series! The gameplay is fun– strategizing with where to position your army on the grid, abilities/skills to teach alongside weapon and class config; makes this a very diff.

You will put out a lot of hours with this game! The only downside was that I wish you could select the Jpnese audio with subtitles — which some games graciously allow.

Plus, being forced to marry Chrom was not part of the plan! I wanted Stahl. lol. Recommend regardless of my forced marriage mishap!.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is more of Three Houses in a more action-oriented game. which has its positives and negatives. Visually the game is very much in-line with Three Houses, which has the benefit of great playable character designs and strong art-direction, but this also comes with a very drab color palette and a lack of compelling enemy variety.

The soundtrack features great remixes from Three Houses and the voice acting is largely great as well, though there are a few characters that feel a bit miss-cast among the newcomers. I enjoyed seeing characters that were only mentioned in passing in Three Houses, such as Holst and Monica, get their time to shine as fully fleshed-out characters (some even being playable).

Unfortunately this comes at the cost of reduced roles for characters like Hanneman, which is disappointing. The mission variety is nice but there are so many missions across the three storylines that what variety it has still ends up bordering on tedious.

The process of leveling up facilities at your base also seems like a good idea that becomes incredibly tedious, trading materials back and forth for hours on end to get the ones you need in the late game.

As for the stories themselves. they’re. something. Claude’s is a nightmare of bad choices and self-doubt on his part (a radical departure from how he is portrayed in Three Houses). Edelgard’s and Dimitir’s are better, with Dimitri’s in particular being a step above his route in Three Houses, but its clear that the overall narrative is messy.

A lot of the game’s conversations revolve around every character saying one or two lines along the lines of “we need to be careful” or “we can do this” and it gets old very quickly. A solid effort to bring Three Houses into the Warriors format, but it could have used a bit more time in the oven.

Its pretty obvious that they got it out as quickly as they could to make way for Fire Emblem Engage to have the spotlight all to itself. It lacks the abysmal performance issues of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, but I think that game was better at its core.

Fire Emblem Three Hopes is two things— a 1. Warriors / Musou game and 2. a “what if” story based on Fire Emblem Three Houses. For those of you who have played Warriors games before, this game will be one of the best you’ve played— it has all of the elements introduced in Zelda Age of Calamity, and it’s improves everything (even the frame rate!).

Plus, it has many new elements specific to the Fire Emblem series, such as classes, support ranks, weapon durability, etc. and honestly, the best part about the game is the fantastic story— probably the best Warriors story on Switch, and it has all of your favorite Three Houses characters too.

However, the real question is, can I recommend this game to someone who doesn’t like Warriors games? If you haven’t played a Warriors game before, you should play the free demo of this game on the Nintenso eShop before you buy it.

If you have played them and don’t like the gameplay (strategic 3D brawler against hundreds of soldiers where the soldiers almost don’t matter— the strategy of which soldiers you go after does). You can’t button mash your way through this game, but there IS a lot of pressing the same two buttons to combat the fields of enemies.

It’s very complex if you give it a chance, but people who don’t like this genre might not make it to the complex parts if they can’t see past the core gameplay. Overall, I love this game and you will too if you like Warriors / musou games.

If you don’t like this genre or aren’t sure, play the demo first.

I never loved dynasty warriors / “musou” style games, but Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has totally captivated my attention and made me rethink my impression of the genre. As the successor to the first Fire Emblem Warriors, and a spin-off of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, it has a ton of value in its story continuation, considerable strides in performance, and core gameplay loop.

The hack n’ slash mechanics are pretty straightforward in that you will be pressing Y and X a lot. That being said, its action gameplay has a surprising amount of depth in the combo variations of each class / job.

It’s a fresh “hands on” approach to fire emblems’ turn based style RPGs; you will be able to play dozens of familiar characters from Three Houses and customize their loadouts. There is also a layer of strategy, resource management, and of course, relationship systems that factor into the overall experience.

If you liked the Three Houses title, I strongly recommend picking this up. Much of the storyline could be taken out of context otherwise, but you may still enjoy for the gameplay alone! Cheers and thanks for the read.

Honestly. I was expecting a vanity black dresser but what I instead got was an amazing SE bundle from one of my favorite franchises. The contents of the bundle you may ask…? Well, i can assure its not a dresser, or anything like that.

This is the whole pizza, 1 or 2 slices. the whole pizza, topping and all. Rather than having to buy Conquest and Birthright separately, followed by the upcoming DLC half, Revelations. you get the whole thing in one.

No sd card nonsense. It also comes with a fantastic nifty carrying pouch for your 3ds console, which i will probably be using to carry around phone chargers are junk like that, i digress. Lastly this bundle gives you an amazing art book those artsy people out there to admire and add to your FE collection.

Did I get a nice low priced black vanity dresser. ? No, but i don’t regret it either way. I highly recommend this product to any FE fan out there that can get their hands on this and hope you’re as stoked as i am for the release.

I expected this to be a better quality product. It shipped well, and the packaging was good. But the product itself was disappointing. The wood is a cheap pine, and only the front, rear and top are actually wood.

The sides and shelves are like a laminated cardboard. The pre-drilled holes weren’t exactly lined up, so the sides didn’t quite fit right and the pins that hold up the inside shelf didn’t fit into the pre-drilled pin hole, so I had to bang them in with a hammer.

The bottom shelf doesn’t have notches to make it fit properly, and so it’s not flat. Once I had it completely together, the misaligned holes mean that it doesn’t sit right and one of the legs is about 1/2″ shorter on one side, so it wobbles.

Had to cram a wedge under that one leg. I should have gone to IKEA. 7. 8/10 IGN.

This has to be my all time favorite game this year since it’s so rich in story and characters. The plot twists are sort of predictable but the all time one in Revelations was “Whoa wth is happening. ” The gameplay however isn’t my strength since strategy/tactics and I do not get along, but thankfully, Nintendo was kind to those who just want to know more of the story without getting frustrated with Phoenix Mode.

One day I plan to play it on Casual Mode, though I really don’t want to at the same time since the Conquest Mode made me so frustrated even with Phoenix. Colors definitely flew my mouth lol. Definitely buy this game and just have fun with it~.

This is a rock-solid hack n slash game. The game itself focuses on a varied character roster plenty to choose from depending on your fighting style. The game is similar to Dynasty Warriors set in cyber space.

the game pays homage to Chinese mythical and historical figures too for some references. Victory in the game relies on how you use your environment around you clearing enemies performing combos and such boost your rank and endgame score SSS ranks are needed for certain abilities to unlock and bonus xp to be awarded.

Most satisfying parts is getting to the point of clinging onto the edge nearly defeated only to unleash your super ability and win the fight a very satisfying element. If you want a great hack n slash pick up and play game with some beautiful visuals i would highly recommend it.

I can only speak for the PS Vita version where this game feels right at home.

It’s clearly a budget title, and it seems eBay’s standards of what is considered a “good” game are blatantly Western-centric, in terms of overrating the significance of graphic fidelity. Ironically, while I don’t think this very game is too compelling in its “musou”-style gameplay (no such game is too compelling), it is probably far superior than any over-the-shoulder “cinematic” Sony AAA first-party title or XBox first-person-shooter shovelware, in the sense that at least you are playing a real game, knockoff of Dynasty Warriors though it may be.

The point, I guess, is that you aren’t playing Fate/Extella for the gameplay, but rather for the story. Personally, I hate the idea of prioritizing Narrative over Gameplay, but it works here, as it did in its JRPG prequel, Fate/EXTRA.

A lot of Japanese games get pretty bonkers with their science-fantasy worldbuilding, and I’m always a fan. Better than “forced drama” of “””cinematic””” Western games, not that I dislike Uncharted or anything, just that my primary values lay elsewhere.

Graphics are a bit jarring at first. They’re like PS2 graphics but one gets used to them. The main appeal is playing as your favorite servants from the series like Gilgamesh and Iskandar. Music is meh, but some tracks are pretty good.

The main menu theme is hauntingly beautiful though. Camera is weird but not too bad. This is a Warriors or Musou type game, so expect doing the same thing over and over again. Surprisingly interesting story, but with a slowish start.

Overall, would only recommend to fans of Musou style games or fans of Fate. By itself, it’s a subpar game. But for fans, I’d say it’s worth it.

This honestly feels like a pumped up expansion to the first Fate/EXTELLA. The same hack and slash gameplay, similar to any of the Dynasty Warriors games or spinoffs, returns along with a new story, characters, and protagonists.

The Switch version offers slightly more content than the PS4 version. The way the first game had Bride Saber as an extra character, LINK has the special “Chibi” costumes of servants. +Nice story to follow +Extra servants to play as +Hack and slash goodness -Gameplay gets repetitive Would I recommend it? To Fate fans, pretty sure you’ll enjoy all the extras and improvements over the first game.

To those outside of the Fate series, if trailers look interesting to you I’d say give it a try.

Fate series has a pretty strong VN behind it with an excellent story. This game showcases as such in the VN part as part of a longer ongoing arc. Game is fun to play, lots of action, and tons of characters and costumes to unlock.

Great weekend game to play and when you have a few hours to kill at a time. LE comes with some pretty nifty high quality items. Love to cloth poster and cards. The 3d acrylic diorama is awesome also and is sitting on my desk.

I not to big into the warriors games because to me they feel to repetitive so when I heard this game was the same style as the warriors franchise I was a little hesitant but, my worries went away when you can chance the attacks of all the characters it adds some much variety to the gameplay! I highly recommend this game if you like the fate series and enjoy feeling like a god.

I haven’t beaten a game in years! Mostly I would lose interest in a game or would get stuck at a difficult part and give up. This game has it all! Great Cinematics, great game play, tons of secret areas to travel back too, epic boss fights, and a great level up/skill up progression.

The only things that I would rate lower would be lip sink in cinematics since they are Japanese dubbed to English (the voice acting is Great I especially loved Dracula’s voice) and replayability since there is no different progression, only a harder difficulty level.

There is also an extra cinematic if you 100 percent all levels which is what I am attempting now since I beat the game. Not sure if a “Hard” mode will compel me enough to play the game through again.

Overall I would rate this game a 4. 7 out of 5. Love the finishing moves on the monsters too!.

This game is listed and sold as new. It is clearly a repackaged game. The plastic wrap is clearly done by a third party and then sold as a NEW game. I collect all kinds of games new and old. I am aware of this problem and again the game I received is clearly a repackaged and re-wrapped game sold as NEW.

I would be happy with the game and condition I got but I’m not happy paying the price of a sealed copy for this.

Been waiting a while to get my hands on this awesome game. I have already played and own Castlevania Lords of Shadow 1 and 2. I also have previous titles in the legendary series. Its a brilliant game with the old touches of the other games in the series.

Its got amazing graphics and the gameplay is classic. A worthy 10/10 rating in my case. A reason am a big Konami fan.

Great Fire Emblem game in terms of gameplay and novelty, but the length is somewhat disappointing. No offsprings, a meh love confession, it felt to me like the game stopped in the middle! No relevant DLC quests either! No possibility to create your own couples for the other characters.

All these things that made the DS Fire Emblem cool aren’t present. Even the side characters aren’t nearly as interesting as the ones from the previous games, except for the three leaders. Also, so many important questions left unanswered!This game could’ve been the best yet had the elements from previous titles been there in addition to the new ones, but it’s just a cool game that isn’t particularly memorable.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed playing it, so it deserves a 7/10.

Before I started this game, Monster Hunter was the game that kept me playing in excess of 200 hours per game. I couldn’t imagine any other game which could match the MH series. Enter Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

I have clocked nearly the 300 hour mark (including 4 playthroughs – I won’t put spoilers here but you’ll find out – of the main game and a playthrough of the DLC) and all this is because of the combination of riveting stories and excellent gameplay.

The Fire Emblem series is based on its turn-based, tactical and addictive gameplay. The reason we kept coming back for more is the outcomes of relationships between members, the multiple divergent paths you can take, and the diverse number of characters you can battle with, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

The difficulty level is completely up to you. You can play super-hard and have perma-death on your characters, or you can play on casual and have any dead characters mercifully revived in the next mission.

The story is so well written, and the in-game animation during the “exploration” days in the monastery is utterly beautiful. There are so many things to do during exploration too, so it’s not just a tactical turned-base game.

This is hands-down the most unique, most beautiful game (characters especially) and character-driven Fire Emblem of all Fire Emblems. I cannot recommend enough of this game. It really caught me unaware how the game never grows old despite multiple playthroughs, because it feels different in each playthrough.

I highly recommend this – well worth the money paid for both the main game and the DLC.

Gameplay: Classic Fire Emblem. The school segments are a good chance to get to know the characters better, marred slightly by a hugely oversized hub world and repetitive nature of the activities (though I admit, I did really enjoy fishing.

) The new gambit system is somewhat gimmicky, but can come in clutch in late game. The crest system seems somewhat pointless, but I’m sure it can come in handy, too. The story can take permutations based on the choices you make, but I found it pretty lacking, in the end.

Like with Awakening, the real enjoyment is to be found in the character interactions. Byleth (the protagonist,) really has their own character, and that should be kept in mind when trying to roleplay.
