Absolutely loved this book and all its super colourful recipes inspired from the pages within the book of flowers, nature, fresh food markets and fruit. I’d rather these yummy recipes over any standard desserts any day!.

Beautifully photographed recipes that are surprisingly easy to make with non-vegan options too. Innovative, appealing and tasty treats. My new go-to dessert book.

This is a really informative book about vegan baking and cooking. My girlfriend is vegan and I bought this for her as a birthday gift. She honestly enjoys it. A fantastic book. I also learned a lot from it.

I did a review for the Key Lime ones (amazing) but mentioned that the coconut ones are my favorite. #influenster asked me to then review these ones! These are MUST cookies! You must like coconut though, for these ones though.

They come in the key lime and chocolate flavor also. They are all amazing. They are basically very thin crunchy cookies that melt in your mouth, literally. I am not a sweet (food wise lol) person BUT, let’s just say I am more of a salt person and eat pretty healthy but I splurge and these are WAY worth a splurge, the fat, calories etc.

lol * Grocery Outlet usually has a flavor (usually just 1-flavor) for a decent price and Costco obviously has the huge, very reasonable cost wise bags). RUN. try, you won’t regret it. I will always recommend these!.

I used to buy these cookies all the time. About a year ago I bought a bag of them and they were overbaked, actually burnt. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt and purchased another bag. Same story- burnt.

So I called the number on the bag to report it/discuss it or at least let them know my displeasure. They actually denied it. The lady on the phone said no way they could have been over baked or burnt.

I told her I had been buying them for several years and I thought they were good, in fact my favorite but the last 2 bags were burnt. Then she wanted the code from the bottom of the bag. I sent a picture.

Called a few days later and said she didn’t receive it so I resent the pic. Went round and round a few times. I just let it go. My husband recently bought a bag for me. They were also burnt. I have now decided Pepperidge Farm is my favorite cookie.

Not buying them again! Ever!.

So I was given a few bags of Tate’s Chocolate Chip Cookies by a friend a couple weeks ago and I was blown away by how delicious they were when I first tried them and I was totally hooked on them right then and there.

These are hands down the BEST chocolates chip cookies I have EVER had in my entire life! I am absolutely addicted to them. I have only tried the regular chocolate chip cookies, but I plan on trying the other kinds soon.

I love how thin they are and how they just melt in your mouth after being dipped in milk for 5 seconds. Mmm. Soon yummy. Gotta go eat some right now! I think e everyone should try them.

The New York Cheesecake was absolutely Terrible. It had a really wonderful crust but, that flavor of country crock butter spread, instead of anything remotely close to New York cheesecake; was disgusting.

It took me about 3 bites to recognize that fake butter taste. My roommate made some toast this morning and I had a half piece of toast. Dead to rights; the same exact flavor as this truly disappointing, insult to New York Cheesecake’s across the board.

Bummer too. Was hoping for something worth it’s claim. New York Cheesecake; this was Not. 👎.

OMMMMMMGGGGGG! Do this is the BEST cheesecake that I’ve ever had! Ans I cook! I was expecting some “dairy replacement” taste, and just be lucky that I found a dairy free cheesecake. Boy was I wrong! It was silky, creamy, chocolatey, and AMAZZZING! I will DEFINITELY be getting more of these, and can’t wait to try the other flavors! I recently found out that I have a “sensitivity “ to dairy.

It’s ok honestly. This was my first time having dairy-free cheesecake so I wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s not bad. It doesn’t taste exactly like regular cheesecake but close enough I guess. I will say that the strawberry flavour tastes a bit fake though…I expected more of a fresh star berry taste.

Still a good enough substitute especially if I’m trying to stay away from dairy.

Probably the best dark chocolate icing I’ve had (vegan or not), but the cupcake itself is very dry and crumbly. This is the kind of cake that pairs really well with hot coffee, specifically dripping a little bit at a time over the top of the next bite and then spooning that part out (so it doesn’t just crumble apart).

I shared this with my partner and we had to just eat it with a fork in the container because biting into it made a huge mess.

These are my go-to cupcakes to bring with me to any birthday parties my son goes to so he doesn’t have to feel left out when it’s time for birthday cake. They are good to me and I don’t have allergies and I’m not vegan.

My son loves them. They are bigger than a standard cupcake and a little larger than my 7 year old really needs, but he never has any problems finishing them! Lol I wish they made more flavors that were vegan and also made in a nut free facility- Maybe vanilla or marble.

I think there’s a vegan carrot cake one, which I got excited about and almost bought until I realized it’s not in a nut free bakery. Being able to get a 4pk or a 6 pk or mixed variety would be awesome.

I hope they do that in the future!.

Wow! These cupcakes are SO good!! Dense, rich, fudgy chocolate cake and creamy chocolatey frosting. The flavor is out of this world! I have given up dairy because my nursing baby has a sensitivity to milk and these cupcakes make me not miss regular cake at all!.

Kind of pricey and you don’t get that many pieces inside, but, they are so delicious. I bought one bag first to try because they looked good, and birthday cake is my favorite flavor in anything. I went back and bought three more bags! I splurged a bit, but it’s a healthier snack so I don’t feel so bad about it.

I might have to catch these on a sale or something. These are just so yummy!.

Pleasantly surprised at how good these are. They’re great when you’re craving something sweet yet know you need to pick something healthy-ish. The only downside is there are only 6 in the pack and they’re a little pricey, but the ingredients seem to be quality.

I will buy these again and stock up when/if they go on sale.

I really wanted to love these but they are not good. The chocolate chip ones are addictive so I was excited to try out a new flavor. These fell flat on expectations, they taste like chalk.

I have used this product before when making gelatin with fruit. And we have really loved it. However this time I used it in a recipe (which I have never done before) and it did not turn out. Because I did not read the directions where it notes that it starts to gel up immediately it altered the results of the recipe to where the end product was nothing the same as previous results with Jell-O.

It also seemed to make less gelatin in the recipe than normal Jell-O–not sure why. I will probably go with Jell-O any time I need consistent results in a recipe but will always go back to using Bakol whenever I am making just gelatin or with fruit only.

Because we really like the taste of it and the fact that it has no artificial ingredients.

I bought this to make orange “jell-o” for my kids because the ingredients are so much better than the actual jell-o brand. This doesn’t contain any artificial colors or sweeteners. The first time I made it, my kids said it was the best jell-o they’ve ever had!.

Due to health issues and my love of animals, I became vegetarian. It took me some time to find this. The flavor is, in my opinion, better than jello. It even easier to make. Add some fresh fruit into it and yum! So good! Great, now I’m hungry for some.

Off to the kitchen I go! BTW, my son loves it too.

These cupcakes are a problem. They’re too good! I’m on a relatively strict diet for my martial arts training but I got these to split with my coach and we absolutely devoured the whole pack. They are super moist and each flavor is distinct.

Tye dye and churro were my favorites, coach loved the cookie dough! Baked by Melissa did great with shipping! I order a meal planning kit every month and their packaging is regularly beaten up, sometimes with damaged items or leaking ice packs.

The cupcake box was in perfect shape when it arrived and the cupcakes’ icing wasn’t even messed up! I would absolutely buy them again, especially as a gift!.

I purchased the Party Safe assortment for my daughter’s in- school celebration. I was confused when the cupcakes arrives with no label as to which assortment had been shipped to me or list of cupcakes that were in the box.

I called customer service because I did not want to take the chance to sent a nut product to our nut free school. I was told by a very rude customer service rep # They do not include labels or packing slips to reduce their environmental impact (there were other loose marketing papers in the box, just nothing specific to the product I purchased) #2 this ‘party safe’ assortment cannot be labeled “nut free” as it is made in a facility containing nuts.

The website labels them nut free and calls them party safe- but they arent even willing to provide a list of the cupcakes in the assortment. I am horrified at the lack of accountability on what they sell.

I wont be shopping baked by melissa again sadly.

I like having these in my fridge as the shelf life goes on for absolutely ages. It’s one of my favourite lunchtime desserts to have with two digestive biscuits, which I dip in. Rich, thick and really chocolatey, non-vegans wouldn’t realize this isn’t a dairy product and its lunchbox size so ideal for packed lunches I will buy again and like the vanilla, caramel and dark chocolate too, so I highly recommend it to anyone.

So so nice, like a chocolatey mouse/yogurt desert, great with strawberries! Tastes exactly like the kids chocolate petite filous yogurts! Can’t wait to try the other flavours!

I didn’t expect to enjoy this product as much as I did. They didn’t need storing in the fridge and had a good shelf life on them. The texture was quite silky and smooth and I would have have guessed they were dairy free.

Would recommend. I bought this product as part of a promotion.

Holy do bites these are so good! I bought the variety tray from target for $10. It came with ten packages. It sounds expensive and when my husband suggested it I said no way. But he insisted and I tried them.

I am absolutely in love. These only have 100 calories and fit in with my gluten free life style. I’m a little twisted and take my gluten free self through the target bakery section just to see and smell the wonderful treats I can’t have.

It’s oddly satisfying do you find something gluten free in their department was a dream come true. Truly cloud 9 over these. Guilt free, no bloating. Not making me go over my calories like my ice cream used to 😅 I love my sweets but gained control over my sugar habits and these are so perfect for where I am in life.

I feel seen when products like this come out. I will buy again! These are free of the 8 top allergies. I highly recommend to anyone even if you’re not in a specific diet and want to control yourself but have over the top chocolate covered cookie dough! Perfect for all of the above said.

These are the perfect snack for anyone with a variety of allergies. I’m sensitive to dairy, gluten and peanuts. My daughter has a peanut allergy too. So these are perfect to have when we get those sweet cravings.

I don’t feel guilty for indulging in them at all. Please keep making them!! We need more gluten free and dairy free snacks & more gluten free fast food or gluten free options at restaurants.

These are soooo good and my son loves them! Definitely enjoy them with a glass of milk! They are a bit pricey and the bites are a tad small but the story behind the company how the mother and her son would make them since he had allergies got to me since my son also has an egg allergy.

i love getting these when i’m craving something sweet. very good, perfect chocolatey flavor. very tasty icing. the only thing is there’s been a few times when it’s been suuuper dry maybe i picked the older ones? most of the time it’s a nice cakey consistency.

These are the best vegan cupcakes. They are so decadent you can not tell they are different from regular cupcakes. The frosting is heavenly. The 4 pack is such a deal! They aren’t too big, the perfect size for a rich chocolate dessert.

A must every time I go to target!! SO GOOD!.

These are soooo delicious moist and favorful. I also don’t believe they are vegan. Frosting is so good they should sell it in tubs. Only downside is they are hard to find.

My husband received the vegan package from his job this afternoon. I got to work right away. Warmed up the soup and had the first taste. I called my 18 year old daughter down right away, ( she’s my taster when I cook).

“ really good mommy, can I have mine now?” She asked. I proceeded to tell her that I did not make it. From the packaging to the taste, you’ve nailed it. I am of Haitian origin, and this soup is Caribbean approved!!!! Much success to the company.

My post-op friend really appreciated having a good meal that he didn’t have to cook. He commented on how bright and cheerful the packaging was and said the soup was some of the best he’d ever had. I felt good about giving him something nutritious instead of the usual sugary get well gifts, and I was happily surprised that there were vegan friendly options.

I look forward to sending more scrumptious gifts next time someone needs some TLC. Thanks for this service!.

I thought this cake was good, but it could be improved on. Many of the fruit and nut pieces in the cake were so large that it made the flavor and texture of the cake inconsistent. If the fruit and nuts were chopped to a finer consistency I believe that the overall favor would be enhanced.

Also the size of the cake was quite small for the price paid. And it took nearly a month to receive it considering the large shipping costs that I paid.

I rarely leave reviews, especially for food. But wow! I became vegan shortly after Mochi’s were a thing in the U. S. I was always regretful I had not tried one first haha. So I see these and was super happy.

I bought the strawberry, and the salted caramel. THE STRAWBERRY THOUGH!! These are the bee’s knee’s. So creamy and delicious. Love the rice dough texture so very much, the best part is they are not too sweet either.

The sweet spot for sweets, not over powering. One or two leaves you more than satisfied. The salted caramel are alright, but I went back and bought four more boxes of the strawberry. Hope to see the other flavors that the dairy version have in the vegan someday too.

I never write reviews, especially for food. But I was so impressed, I had to! I haven’t been able to find a go-to non-dairy ice cream or ice cream snack since the butter pecan almond milk ice cream I used to love disappeared from stores.

I am lactose intolerant but I don’t typically enjoy the vegan alternatives. Sometimes it’s the texture, or the overwhelming nut flavors that throw me off (hence why butter pecan almond milk ice cream was pretty genius and worked).

The flavors of non dairy alternatives are usually underwhelming for me as well. You’d think because so many people are lactose intolerant, have milk allergies or are just vegan, there would be better alternatives.

Well, I decided to try these because Neapolitan reminds me of childhood plus they were on sale. These were so good! And best of all I forgot these were vegan or GF! I didn’t notice any nut flavor and I usually pick that up.

Now, I don’t dislike nuts so if you’re hypersensitive to that flavor I can’t guarantee it, but as I said before – that’s usually my gripe with nut milk alternatives (especially when combined with fruit).

These will def be my go to snack moving forward. They’re not cheap but I what is for those of us with dairy sensitivities?.

To be honest they don’t taste that bad. After reading several of the reviews here I expected this to taste like puke or cardboard. I was pleasantly surprised. Some of the other plant based ice-cream’s I cannot consume due to several food allergies I have.

No almond milk, no pea proteins, peanuts, or regular dairy for me. This ice cream gives me the chance to have strawberry ice-cream. Its very close to the strawberry flavor of most ice-creams. Yes it has a slight nut (cashew) taste to it.

But its not terrible. This is never going to taste like Dairy based Mochi strawberry ice cream or any standard dairy based ice cream. Its not sickly sweet either as some mentioned. Everyone has different taste tolerances and taste buds.

I would say give this product a chance. Find it if you like it, again its not that bad, and honestly I am grateful to have this available as an option for those nights that I crave something sweet. Best of all its the perfect serving size too.
