Our old vacuum stopped working and I went online to search for one that would do a good job on pet hair and make the carpet look like it had been vacuumed but also not spend a small fortune. Our home has a long hallway and although relatively new it has builder grade carpet.
With the vacuums we’ve had the past few years within a few hours after vacuuming the hallway carpet looks trampled and matted down. There are 2 people and 3 cats in our home. This vacuum delivered last week and I immediately got it set up and vacuumed.
WOW, was very impressed. It did a phenomenal job in picking up cat hair. I was amazed at how much it picked up and the hallway carpet looked all fluffed up. Fast forward 3 days and the hall carpet still looked great.
I feel like this vacuum did a deeper cleaning than our previous one and we’ve had the big name vacuum that cost 3x the cost of this vacuum and this one works far better. It’s relatively lightweight for a full size vacuum and easy to maneuver.
Very happy with this purchase and delivery right to our door.
We have owned this vacuum for a few months and in that time have ordered 6 belts. We just put on the 6th belt last night and it completely stopped working. It didn’t blow a fuse, it just quit. I usually purchase cheap little cleaners and decided to invest in a Hoover.
After spending several hundred dollars, it was just a disappointment. You have disappointed me Hoover. Your name did mean quailty and I thought this would be a good investment. I truly hope you attempt to make this right.
I don’t normally write reviews, but, this vacuum cleaner is AMAZING. I was shocked at the stuff it picked up when I first used it, I mean totally shocked. I actually vacuumed again a little while later to see what it would pick up.
I was embarrassed but astonished as well. This machine is easy to use and amazing. This purchase was the best use of my my money. HIGHLY recommend!!! The review asks if I would recommend to a friend, I did and she bought one as well!.
The ONEPWR Evolve Pet delivers lightweight cordless everyday convenience, ideal for those with furry friends at home. This compact and lightweight design brings you the easiest clean, weighing less than 9 lbs.
when you carry it from room to room, while it only feels like 2 lbs. in the handle as you recline it to vacuum so your arms wont get tired from cleaning. Lift all the embedded dirt and pet hair from your carpet or your hard floors and maneuver around furniture without worrying about a cord.
Plus, enjoy 3X more capacity than a stick vacuum so you dont have to empty all that puppy hair and dirt every few minutes.
I was going back and forth between this and the shark navigator cordless. They seemed pretty even on reviews. I mostly decided on this because it’s was on sale on the Hoover website! I had to wait a little longer to get it then I would from other sites(about 5 days from the day I ordered it) but it was worth the price difference for sure.
I was worried about it as I have 4 dogs. A great dane(high shedder short hair), a Mini Aussie( How shedder clumpy hair), a King Shepherd(high shedder clumpy long hair) and a Cheweenie(high shedder short hair.
I also have a maine coon cat. So, I essentially have lots of hair everywhere, all the time. I do NOT know how this performs on carpers because I bought it for my wood floors( bathrooms(2), hallway, entryway, dining room, and kitchen.
) So far it has worked great for me. I have had ZERO clog issues despite the amount of hair it has to pick up and I have been able to vacuum all the above mentioned rooms in one swoop without the battery going dead.
It picks everything up easily. I actually accidentally sucked up a good size piece of paper today and really though it would cause my first clog, but atlas it didn’t. So far this vacuum is performing perfectly for me.
I think the only downside I can think of as of now is the fact that a replacement battery is 100$. However, there are off brand batteries other places that are compatible with this vacuum for half the price, and the reviews on them state that they actually work better than the original hoover battery.
So, I will probably just go that route whenever I need a new battery. If you want a cordless for wood (or any non carpeted) floors, this one is definitely recommended. And it does hold up against that pet hair!.
I’ve had this vacuum for over a year now. I don’t have pets, but I have 2 children under 4 and an adult child aka my husband. This is the one vacuum I will hands down buy again. Kids drop Play-Doh all over the carpet-sucks it right up once its dried.
Kids think eating ground beef is an Olympic event and it ends up all over the floor- Check! Kids have a contest on how many pieces they can rip up a kleenex into-kleenex doesn’t stand a chance. Kids grab that cheerio box and upside down it goes- your going to want to grab that handheld cause this vacuum is going to push it around.
needs to sit a little higher off the floor. Husband forgets to take off shoes and tracks dirt everywhere- you should be good on the smaller pieces. I can vacuum the living room, playroom, kitchen, entry, bathroom, laundry room, that includes two carpets and a lot of rugs with one full charge, even after a year.
Love that it holds it’s suction until it dies. The bagless dirt bin is awesome but longer hair does get stuck in it and you have to pull it out. I’d change the seal around the top to prevent dust build up on the rims.
The brush is sooo easy to take out and clean. If your wanting to really get every piece of dust, go for your corded upright. Best part about this vacuum. my husband has actually used it without me asking!! What!! Craziness.
I am thoroughly surprised, yet thrilled, that this vacuum performs as it does, and cost so little compared to high end machines. I know it would be expecting a LOT for this vacuum to handle 3 dogs and our entire apartment.
This ONEPWR Hoover is simple, but that’s also what I really like about it. I love that it stands on its own, tucked away in my laundry closet. 1 month in now, and I am loving it! We vacuum our hardwoods and bedroom carpet, and our sofas, every day.
The battery lasts SO LONG! After vacuuming I swap out the same battery into my handheld and continue until all the hair is picked up. The suction of this vacuum is quite strong and picks everything up on the first pass.
We put the battery on the charger after doing the entire apartment, about every other day! I also have the Hoover handheld that came with my vacuum, and it removes all the hair and dirt in hard to reach spots, baseboards, and under furniture and my large appliances.
We empty the canister and shake out the filter after every cleaning so that the suction remains at its highest. I was hoping for a good vacuum when we made this purchase, but instead. we got a GREAT vacuum!! #sweepstakes.

Features The vacuum that deep-cleans now cleans itself. The self-cleaning brushroll removes long hair, short hair, and pet hair from your brushroll, delivering non-stop hair removal. Powerful upright vacuum suction to pick up embedded debris, stubborn pet hair, and more.
Lightweight design allows for easy maneuverability and portability. 3XL capacity for long cleaning sessions with fewer interruptions to empty the dust cup. Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology and a HEPA filter trap dust and allergens inside the vacuum cleaner.
An extendable hose for up to 12 feet of total reach gives you access to hard-to-clean areas above the floor like stairs, furniture, and more. Swivel Steering provides heightened control so your vacuum can maneuver around your home with ease.
I have been a shark customer for a very long time. I have the power lift-away from years ago and the things runs like a champ. However, I saw this one and thought WOW no more cutting the dog hair from the wheel and an XL cup will save me so.
much. time! I would say overall it’s definitely a good vacuum BUT I miss features from my other one that make me sad when I pull this one out of the closet. I do still have the other so I can use both.
Pros: Lightweight- for a large vacuum, this is very easy to lift XL Cup- definitely helps when you have 2 very large furry dogs Long Hose-ish- long but doesn’t reach like it states Super Sucker- I did think the suction was very good on getting up massive amounts of dog hair (Border Collie/Newfoundland and Great Pyrenees/Aussie mix) Cons: No Lift-Away- Doesn’t seem like that big of a deal until you are going up and down the stairs or reaching into vaulted ceilings, the canister doesn’t fall over No Light- again not a HUGE deal but seeing dust bunnies run from you was easier with a light Hose- The hose states it’ll reach 12′ making stairs easy but let me tell you, it does not even come close.
Like mentioned above, once you get hose fully extended you need something to weigh it down so it doesn’t fall over from over extension Accessories- My liftaway had a ton of accessories for options i.
e. stair brushroll, and a few others but let’s stick with that one. For a machine that claims it’s turbo power for pets to not provide a stair brushroll seems silly, I have tried to rig my old one to fit my new machine and it works just ok, I end up using my old vacuum to do the stairs ugh.
Self Cleaning Brushroll- seems ok for now but still have hair wrapped around it that i’m sure I’ll have to cut off. Overall: I like the vacuum, esthetically it’s really good looking (because you know that’s important) It seems to do a good job as needed, I wish it was a clone of my liftaway with “newer” features but it’s not.
If you plan on never, ever using the attachments then maybe this vacuum will work for you as an upright. However, if you intend to actually use the attachments for cleaning, then stop, turn and run away from this vacuum.
First of all, the following product description is a flat-out lie: “An extendable hose for up to 12 feet of total reach gives you access to hard-to-clean areas above the floor like stairs, furniture, and more.
” In reality, you can reach maybe 7 feet (max) feet before the vacuum tips and falls over. Specifically, the hose is flexible but it does NOT stretch – not even a millimeter. The hose’s lack of elasticity, paired with how top-heavy the vacuum is, means the unit is always falling over when using the attachments.
To realistically reach more than 6 to 7 feet you need someone to hold the vacuum so it doesn’t tip over, which is totally asinine. The vacuum does not come with a dusting brush. C’mon man, it is the attachment I use the most.
I had to purchase the dusting brush separately from Shark and paying shipping costs. It seems Shark intentionally made the hose an odd size, because I tried the dusting brush from my shop vac and a brush from old vacuum but neither fit the Shark’s hose.
Vacuum does not have an auto-retractable cord. I knew this going in, but didn’t realize how much I would miss the feature until it was gone. Vacuum does not have a light/ head lamp. I also knew this going in but, again, didn’t realize how much I would miss the feature.
My final thought is that the vacuum works fine as an upright. However, for cleaning with attachments it is nearly unusable. Knowing what I know now, I would not have purchased this vacuum, nor do I recommend it.

Give your space a thorough cleaning with the Kenmore BC4026 Bagged Canister Vacuum (Blue). It’s compact and portable with a carrying handle and wheels, making it easy to take around the house and even up and down stairs.
The 360-degree hose and telescoping wands offer a long and flexible reach to get to ceiling fans and the upper corners of rooms. Choose from four height levels and turn the brushroll on and off for cleaning thicker or thinner carpets as well as hard floors.
There’s also a bare floor brush stored in the unit. A visual indicator lets you know when it’s time to empty the bagged canister vacuum cleaner. Dirt, dust and other particles are captured and contained in the HEPA filter.
This vacuum leaves a lot of debris behind on our floors. The large back wheels that only roll forward and backward (vs the small swivel wheels on other canister vacs) make it cumbersome to maneuver. The angle of the handle is uncomfortable.
The floor-to-carpet switch and suction control button are in places that your hand can’t avoid, so you’re constantly having to make readjustments. The lid for the attachments falls open when you’re carrying the canister upright.
The door to the filter is tricky to secure so it falls off a lot. The hands-free system for attaching/detaching the floor nozzle is more difficult to use than using your hands. The power cord retractor doesn’t work very well after a year.
The whole thing is extremely heavy. After trying to make do with this horrible beast for over a year, I finally bought another canister vacuum cleaner for the same price. It’s shocking and depressing how much more effective and more easily maneuverable my new vacuum cleaner is.
Finally decided to replace our Kenmore Progressive canister vacuum, but worried that we might not find something that could match the level of performance and durability. We were very pleased to find that the Pop-N-Go canister with the Ultraplush attachment was everything it promised.
We wanted a neat and clean bagged canister because of allergies. The suction was powerful, and the ability to easily vary the suction was helpful for the more delicate items and surfaces that also need vacuuming.
The Ultraplush does a very good job on our carpets leaving a nicely groomed finish. The pet hair attachment works very well on our stairs, and found the step-holder feature on the canister to be helpful.
The swivel steering is just wonderful. It allows for very close and precise vacuuming around corners and furniture. The pop-n-go feature needs some working with before it becomes effortless, but it is also a nice feature.

Love, Love, Love, this light weight vacuum. I was shopping for powerful and easy to use vacuum with a slender accessory to clean my window and patio door seals. Right on point! The video reviews were most helpful too! Let me share it’s super easy to clean too! However, after about a month of use, we discovered there’s a short circuit preventing the roller to turn on-Reaching out to Wayfair before using my warranty plan.
Hoping for a good outcome. Overall, it’s been great, just wished the short circuit wasn’t an issue, that is had a 3rd, or even 4th speed to it and that the batter life was way longer.

Shark is the best brand I’ve ever purchased. My last vacuum has lasted for at least 6 years but I was ready for a new vacuum and decided to get this one. Man, it is sooo nice. It stands up by itself, it has different levels of suctions, it has a removable canister with an easy release, and it has attachments that are perfect to get the hard to reach spots.
I vacuumed with my old vacuum first and I was still able to get a considerable amount of dirt up with my new Shark. The cord is very heavy duty too and I can tell that it’s going to last a while. I’ve vacuumed every single room multiple times this past week because it’s so easy to use.
The Samsung Jet 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum features a lightweight and maneuverable design plus a removable battery for extended cleaning time up to 40 minutes. The mini motorized tool is perfect for cleaning up pet dander and allergens.
It seems that our family likes cordless stick vacs. They do seem to be very handy to have around for quick floor cleaning in between the deeper cleanings (when we use our canister vacuum), especially with our three cats.
We have been using two cordless stick vacs over the past three years, a Samsung Jet 70 Pet and another one from a big-name vacuum company. And since between the two we had, the batteries never lasted long enough on singe charges to get all the floors done, we decided to get another one.
Although I had mixed feelings about the Samsung Jet 70 (but we still use it quite a bit), I felt like giving the Samsung Jet 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum a try to see what improvements may have been made in the last couple of years.
The Jet 60 is Samsung’s current entry-level cordless stick vac model (with 70, 90, and Bespoke levels rounding things out), and the Pet version is the highest 60 version (well, of two, which it just includes more attachments), Overall, the design is pretty much exactly the same.
The only difference is the tube being a bit thinner overall on the new Jet 60 (just the outside, the inside is the same diameter). And the Jet 60 comes with a bit smaller, differently designed motorized brush head (the Jet Fit Brush).
I’m not sure what kind of a difference it makes, but the bristle rows are not angled as much. I do like the smaller design, and it is a bit quieter than the 70’s Turbo Action Brush, but the bristles use seem to get fur and (and my wife’s long) hair entangled around it more quickly (I had to remove and clean it just after the first time using it).
At least the way the roller is removed makes it very easy to get out and remove the fur and hair (slide a little lever on the side and it pops right out). It also comes with several accessories that can be used with or without the main 27″ tube: a long reach crevice tool (that extends another 6.
5″), a combination tool (sliding dusting brush), and a mini motorized tool. The mini motorized tool is still the same design as the older one, which I was hoping would be a little better this time around.
With the way it was designed, the rotating brush really doesn’t come in contact with the surface (it has some plastic guards). While it was eventually able to get most of the embedded cat fur in the cat trees (that they seem to spend a lot of time in), I had to use the Max section mode (more on the modes in a moment).
The motor is similar, but there may be some changes with it as the sound at the differeny suction levels are a little different pitch. At Mid, it sound a little quieter overall, but that may also be attributed to the different, smaller motorized brush head.
The power is still decent enough to get the dust and fur around, but as with most rechargeable vacuums, the higher the power level, the less time you have to run (more or later). There are two suction control buttons, to go between Min, Mid and Max, but there is no display to tell which mode is active.
The removable (which is still a plus) battery is still the same capacity (21. 6V/1. 6Ah) as the older Jet 70 (was hoping it would be at least a little more), and will last for up to 40 minutes, but when only running on Min and probably only hard flooring.
When running on Max and using the mini motorized tool, I found that it only ran for about 7-8 minutes. Mid will probably get about 15-20 minutes or so. Now, you could buy an extra battery to swap out, but for the price, I think waiting to recharge isn’t that bad.
The charging dock is wall-mountable and can keep two accessories attached. When mounted, you can place the whole vacuum head in to charge the battery, or you can remove the battery and charge it by itself (which could be handy if you do not have a place to mount the dock).
If not mounting, the accessory holder flips to the back so the charging dock on a table or counter and still store the two accessories. One thing I was hoping would be a bit better this time was the packaging protection around the motor head, but unfortunately, I was still disappointed.
There was still no protection of all the parts on all sides. Just imagine sitting an object in a bowl and placing it in a box where when the box lid was closed, it is touching the object with no other support around the top.
That is basically how it is (and was) packed. I could see where the dust bin was rubbing against the outer box panel, but luckily it was not damaged more during shipping. While this isn’t quite the one to clean an entire house (unless you live in one of those mini houses you see on TV), if you need a cordless quick vac to do some quick cleaning, this is definitely one to consider.
The Samsung Jet 60 Series is Samsung’s entry level stick vacuum. For an entry level model, it shares the same 5-Layer Filtration system and 0. 8L dust bin capacity found in their higher end models, it attaches the same crevice and combo tool, and it even has a detachable rechargeable battery.
The similarities end here, with the Jet 60 providing up to 40 minutes of runtime between charges with a smaller battery, paired with a 150W suction motor. That being said, we find ourselves using this much more often than what we currently have at home because of one subtle but huge difference: it’s super lightweight.
Weighing in at a tad over 5 pounds, using the Jet 60 is one of the most effortless vacuums to use around the home. Moreover, the Slim Turbo Action Brush is an all-purpose motorized lightweight head attachment that can transition from hard floor to carpet and back without the need to swap out heads.
My current vacuum has both the soft roller brush head and the carpet brush head, but I do have to swap them out when appropriate; the Slim Turbo Action Brush is both of those things, and it works great overall.
And yes, it is very slim enough to get under couches and hard to reach places. The Jet 60 Pet variant comes with the Mini Motorized Tool to help remove fine dust and pet hair on furniture, typically where I find my cats hanging out.
It has little issues clumping and removing my cat’s dander as there is lint remover material alongside the roller brush to further help the removal of unwanted dander stuck onto furniture. The Jet 60 is not bright and fancy; it doesn’t tell you what speed setting you’re on, it doesn’t tell you how much runtime you have left…it doesn’t tell you anything, to be honest.
The only indicator you have is the 3 blue led lights on the battery itself that tell you how much battery life is left. And quite frankly, that’s okay. After using the vacuum for some time, you’ll know how much runtime you’ll have to clean your entire home relative to what power level you use.
Charging the Jet 60 requires that you wall mount its base to your wall, high enough for the wand to clear the floor. I for one am not a big fan of wall mounting my vacuum to the wall, so for now I remove the battery from the main unit and attach the charge base.
If you’re not a wall mount vacuum kind of person, then this vacuum is probably not for you. The Jet 60 is one of the louder stick vacs that I own at home, especially at max settings. It’s not obnoxiously loud, but it has that higher whistling sound overall.
My home is mostly hard floors accented with low pile area rugs, and this vacuum really has no problems cleaning these areas daily. But with those folks with high pile rugs, I can see this vacuum not performing well as you probably need stronger suction.
The Jet 60 does have a max suction setting, but you’re not going to break 10 minutes of runtime at this setting. I would think any stick vacuum would underperform more often than not in these situations and a plug-in vacuum would be best.
So if you’re like me and have a similar home setup, then I recommend you give the Jet 60 Pet a try.
Samsung – Jet™ 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum review is mixed for me. It came in a nice sturdy box and was packaged pretty well except the main unit should have been protected by Styrofoam or bubble wrap to protect it instead of thin wrap.
The 4 accessory pieces were all individually packaged in plastic bags protected under cardboard. So let’s start with the instructions – how do you use this, charge the battery, mount the charger, put it all together… well that part for me was not good at all – a picture guide that was difficult to follow.
Thankfully there are a few QR codes and verbiage following the picture guides – should have put the verbiage and QR codes first, and the picture guide within or following – backwards if you ask me. Anyway, I figured it all out while grumbling and using a few of the QR short videos to get started.
You have to charge the battery about 2 hrs for a full charge, and then it only lasts between 20-40 minutes. You can use the wall mount piece and fold the attachment holder to make a flat surface to charge the battery, or you can actually mount that piece to the wall and charge from there.
Which leads me to this…. The wall mount option is nice only if you actually have a place on wall with an electrical outlet near the area! I don’t so that is not going to work for me, and I like to stand my vacuums up in my utility closet – that is not happening with this vacuum because it doesn’t actually stand on its own! That is a big CON for me with any vacuum – it needs to stand on its own! The Dustbin and filters are easy enough to disassemble to clean, however they are small – as this is a smaller cordless vacuum.
It fills up quickly with cat hair when vacuuming our family room and is more difficult to use in this room as there is a higher pile carpet here. The bedrooms have a low pile so it is easier to maneuver there, as it is on the bare floor areas.
So, this is a small lightweight cordless vacuum that is good for smaller areas – for a backup cordless or corded vacuum. It is not as good as another branded cordless vacuum that I own and love, and the price is higher than others on the market that I think are much better.
I would ONLY recommend it to someone who doesn’t care about price point but wanted a vacuum that can be hung on a mount in a laundry room and mainly used for smaller areas. This is not something I feel would be a great “main” vacuum.

Ok, we got ours today, unboxing and assembly were super easy. We have a good cordless but with a border collie and two cats in the home something more powerful was needed as well. Right out of the box this vacuum made us very happy! It is much quieter than we expected, and has A TON of suction! I started out on a floor that i had gone over with the cordless earlier in the day, and the bissell was immediately grabbing hair and dirt I could not see.
as I moved around into a different room I could actually see pet hair coming across the floor towards the towards the vac head! The biggest and most pleasant surprise came when I used the pet attatchment on one of the sofas.
in the past bought “pet” vacuums, but none of the pet heads ever worked. the pet head that comes with this vacuum worked very, very well. You have to let it spin up, and then use it should go without saying that you have to use it with short pulls and thus allow it too stay spooled up, and holy cow did it ever work great! did two couches with it in a very short period of time, and I was pleasantly surprised upon inspection that not one bit of hair was would around the roller! there was a ton of that pet hair in the bin though! The bin is super easy to remove and dump, the rewind works exactly as it should, the function buttons are easy to see and use, the edge cleaning capability is better that I have ever seen before in a vac, the unit is light, easy to move around, and has a generous amount of cord.
Now to be fair, this is a day one review, but I have to say I have seen a few negative reviews, (very few) that just don’t add up based on what I’ve seen today. first off, its not a small cordless, and therefore it does not have a tiny low profile beater head.
but overall its low enough to get under most cabinet fronts, (at least at the edge) and coupled with the excellent edge suction thats pretty good. Overall this is a great buy for the price!.
This all-in-one, multi-surface cleaning system vacuums and washes floors at the same time. The specialized pet cleaning solution removes pet odors while the Multi-Surface Pet Brush minimizes annoying pet hair wrap.
What if a vacuum was so advanced it could sense the type of floor it’s cleaning? BISSELL SurfaceSense Pet vacuum can! Its intelligent SurfaceSense Technology can detect floor types and automatically adjust the brush roll speed to give you optimal cleaning performance on any floor type.
It’s also our first vacuum with a Tangle-Free, Multi-Surface Brush Roll which has stiff bristles for cleaning carpet and soft bristles for vacuuming hard floors, so it can pick up everything from fine dust to larger debris across all floor types.
SurfaceSense Pet vacuum has a One Touch, Easy Empty dirt tank and a SmartSeal Allergen System that traps fine dust and allergens while you clean. The LED headlights illuminate hidden dirt and debris while the Quick Release Extension Wand and above floor tools work together to clean hard-to-reach spaces, like upholstery and stairs.
And this vacuum doesn’t just clean up after pets, it helps save them, too! BISSELL proudly supports BISSELL Pet Foundation and its mission to help save homeless pets.

I already own the Bissell Crosswave multi surface Wet/dry vac so I am aware of the great quality and customer service of the Bissell company. The Bissel Surface sense Pet Multi-Surface Vacuum continues to impress me.
Opening the box you will find the on board tools which include the LED crevice tool, the brush tool and the powerbrush attachment. Once you remove these from the box you will find the the main the vacuum seperated into 2 pieces as well as the suction hose.
There is a quick setup guide attached to the vacuum that should have you up and running in about 5-10 minutes. All 3 on board tools also have storage points on the vacuum itself. One thing that I love about this vacuum that may seem silly is the power switch is clearly visible and easy to turn on and off.
It seems like many vacuum manufacturers like to conceal the power switch for aesthetic reasons that sometimes make the vacuum annoying to use. Right next to the power switch you will find a switch to turn off the autosense feature that automatically adjusts the brush roll based on the surface you are trying to clean.
I recommend leaving this on auto because the surface sense technology is one of the main features of the vacuum that make it so great. The brush roll speed will automatically adjust in order to optimally clean the surface.
The vacuum does a great job at picking up hair and fine particle. I compared the ability of this vacuum to pick up glitter after a arts and craft accident and it did a much better job at picking up the glitter than a vacuum mad specifically for hard floors.
Also you have a thicker plush carpet you can adjust the suction accordingly via a slider switch on the handle. There is a quick release wand that detached easily so you can clean hard to reach areas with ease.
I find this useful when trying to vacuum the dust from my vents or window treatments. The vacuum also contains the smart seal allergen system so the filters trap dust and dander from being released as you vacuum.
The cord is plenty long at 30ft and canister is easy to empty via the single button one touch easy empty button. I am extremely satisfied with this vacuum and feel like to has made cleaning a little bit easier for me on a daily basis.
Bissell has done it again. I have been thoroughly impressed with Bissel products, I have their Spinwave 2-1 robotic vac and wet mop unit, I purchased their portable, handheld pet eraser with the original intent of using it for cleaning my dirty car seats, then I became a dog-dad, and it has helped me so much more.
When the SurfaceSense Pet Multi-Surface vac became available, I jumped on it. I’ve had two cordless (battery powered) stick vacs, and the batteries just don’t last as time goes. This unit is corded, and that doesn’t bother me, I prefer having a line of constant power, especially when sucking up pet hair from a fifty-pound German Shepherd puppy.
The neat thing is, I have vinyl flooring throughout my apartment, except my bedroom which is carpeted, and it adjusts the roller speed accordingly and on the handle is a slider that adjusts the level of suction provided.
The best thing I love about this unit is the LED “headlight” that shows you where dirt and hair is hiding, in plain sight on your floor! The unit itself is somewhat heavy, but I have one floor so I am not carrying this thing up and down stairs, in the handle is the hose attachment that slides out and you have three tools: a lighted crevice tool which is very useful in small, dark spaces for deep cleaning, and then the “pet eraser” (my favorite tool) helps with my couch, and uses the negative pressure generated by the vac to power the tool and it does work very well.
Cleaning and emptying the canister is easy, two buttons: one to detach the canister and one to open the bottom of the canister to empty it out. Some of the filters are washable, others are not meant to be washed but that’s okay.
If you have a pet, and they SHED, consider adding this life saver from Bissell to your cleaning arsenal!.
My house can be pretty hectic- we have 4 (soon to be 5) young kiddos, 3 puppies, and 4 cats. Cleaning is something that happens all day long, pretty much constantly. One of the biggest pain points is keeping the floors clean because try as we might, if our youngest isn’t trying to eat something off the floor, the puppies will.
Enter the Bissell Surface Sense Upright Vacuum. This thing has legitimately been life changing. If you have pets, I’m sure you have fought with vacuuming, or sweeping, up their hair. As soon as you get close to it, the hair blows away.
Not with this vacuum. I don’t know what kind of magical technology they put in this thing but it actually attracts and vacuums up the hair, it doesn’t blow it away. Additionally, something both amazing and quite terrifying, the light on the front of the vacuum makes hair and any sort of floor debris stand out like it’s a beacon.
It makes it super easy to ensure that all the hair and debris is cleaned up because you can’t help but notice it with the light. It’s terrifying because it shows just how much hair is truly shed, which is way more than you initially imagine.
I should note that my floor is probably 75% hardwood, 15% vinyl planks, and 10% carpet. The way this thing changes the height of the brush automatically is phenomenal. I can move from room to room with such ease.
I have another pretty high end vacuum ($500) and this one beats it every single time. I can vacuum an area with my other vacuum and then go through with this one and the amount of stuff it picks up is phenomenal.
The one and only downside to this vacuum is that it does not flatten/recline back very far so cleaning under tables and chairs can be a challenge. You can use the extension and the attachments to reach these areas, but it would be way more convenient if you could just do it with the vacuum.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to test this product in exchange for my honest review.
It is designed to tackle any busy household with kids and pets. With specially designed pet tools and powerful WindTunnel 3 technology, this vacuum removes stubborn pet hair on carpet and hard floors while tackling dirt and debris in every corner and crevice.
The 40 ft. power cord gives you the freedom to vacuum any large room without re-plugging. And, when you’re done vacuuming, simply empty the debris with the convenient bottom-release dirt cup. Dimensions: 44″ H x 15″ W x 14″ D.
I do not have a pet, I purchased this a couple of months ago because it claimed to have excellent suction. I learned the suction is really no better than any other vaccum I have owned. I also not impressed with the tools that came with it.
The wand extends to twice its length, which is a great idea, but it is hard to lock it in place and it collapses while using it. The brush that came with it is a pivoting dusting tool, bascially a two piece dusting brush that has a joint, its not a thick brush, as the brush is only on the outside rim of the tool which easily comes apart from the nozzle itself, and is really not good for anything other than high usage such as a ceing fan.
It also includes a crevice tool, and a pet turbo tool. As I said, I do not have a pet. When I first expressed my opinion about the tools I was offered a free dust brush and an upholstery brush. It took over a month to receive the free brushes, the upholstery brush was odd, with a hard detachable part, and felt around the edge of the tool itself.
It went in the trash. The dusting tool was exactly like one I had pruchased on line, for a few dollars. the brush part is very thin, again the brush only goes around the edge of the tool. The dusting brush also not a vry good tool.
When I looked on line to see the cost of the tools, I could not find upholstery brush. I guess the tools don’t sell very well so they used them as giveaways to make me feel better about the purchase.
Overall the vacuum itself works well, has good suction and does what it was designed to do. Does it work well for pet hair, I don’t know, but I don’t see why not. MY suggestion is for Hoover to go back to the drawing board, and make brushes that will actually do a good job, and don’t give away something that is not salable.
I recommed the vaccum, but find another source for the brushes.
Purchased this vacuum because my girlfriend and I shed as much an animal and it leaves space for pet hair in the future; and it was in sale, plus decision fatigue from all those “top vacuums of 2022” websites.
I’ve used it for about a month now It is exactly what I was looking for after weeks of looking at different comparisons and website. It has powerful suction, great for hair (and pet hair) hose and attachments for hard to reach places, can turn the dial and go from hardwood to carpet easily.
If you’re sensitive to noise, it is loud; but it’s a powerful vacuum so that is to be expected. It’s sturdy and does not feel cheap. The extended wand for hard to reach places is hidden on the additional arm attachment so don’t worry.
The instruction are great for telling you how to clean it and there is even a suction pressure dial that indicates when you should clean the filters so that’s handy. For the style of vacuum it can reach pretty far using the main suction (meaning it can be lowered pretty close to the floor while still maintaining suction) but don’t expect miracles.
It manoeuvres like you’d expect from a vacuum if this type but really easy to push around. The suction is so strong that when you use the wand attachment the hose “shrinks” under the pressure so you have to fight that and keep the vacuum in place or it will roll towards you.
Zero complaints about it. I love it and it’s serving me well so far.
Somehow it slipped my mind when I ordered this. If you intend to use the attachments or vacuum hard floors with this vacuum then purchase something else. Why? when using the attachments or vacuuming hard floors you can not turn off the carpet roller brush.
Completely unacceptable and this is not unique to Hoover, you need to be careful when purchasing any upright vacuums though more expensive ones most likely will have the feature and even some less expensive ones will too.
I was being careful as Hoover does make a model that I am going to buy someplace else just like this one in the same price range with a carpet roller brush turn off lever. Im really disappointed in Hoover, they have a great product, nice long hose (really important to me) ok attachments at this price, even rubber coated wheels instead of hard plastic but I guess the competition to keep price low compared to the other manufacturers are having them leave off this needed brush turn off.
Its really silly trying to use the all thoughtful attachments with nice long hose only to have the carpet brush roll spinning like crazy in one place on your hardwood floors ( I was cringing when this was happening) and if not on the hardwood try using the attachments on carpet and the vacuum will start walking on its own while you use the attachments.

This is the worst vacuum I have ever had! It is horrendous for animal hair! When vacuuming the animal hair from my carpet, the base starts vibrating. Turn the vacuum cleaner off and looking under the base I see the animal hair has been rolled into a solid clump and is stuck between the roller and the cover.
This is a constant issue. After emptying the canister and then vacuuming where I know most of the animal hair is, having to stop to remove the clumps of hair I notice the canister is still empty. It literally does not suction in the animal hair.
This is truly the worst vacuum I have ever purchased and my most regretful purchase I have ever made!.
I have had this vacuum for 5 years now. I have 2 cats that shed like crazy along with long hair myself. Just the other day I had an issue with my vacuum not sucking up the dirt anymore. So I decided to take it apart and look closely.
Yes the bottom was clogged and like I said, I have had this vacuum 5 years, this was the first issue and first time cleaning out my vacuum. I also had a loose handle as well as I broke my hose as I pulled it too far and it just broke apart.
So I ordered a replacement hose and also a new belt. Thoroughly cleaned the inside and changed the filters. Screwed it all back together and it is back to being amazing again! I did however break the attachment holder off the side of it and can’t find a replacement to that.
The only thing I do not like about it is, it is heavy. But I love this vacuum and it has seen so much wear and tear and still works as good as new especially after replacing the few needed parts which in general do wear out.
I love the design and suction power so far! The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is, there was hair that wrapped around the rollers inside the turbo brush attachment and around the vacuum cleaner rollers itself.
This happened fairly quickly. In fairness it was human hair, but the product does claim to have brushes that bypass hair. I was glad to see that the hair was easy to remove, unlike other vacuum cleaners where you have to use a knife or scissors to get all of it loose.
Also, I felt that the attachment wand could be longer. I went ahead and ordered the Telescoping Extension wand from the Bissell site, but I felt with the price, it should already have an extra extension.
They gave me 10% off and free shipping, but I still spent $14 more because the wand is just too short for me.
Little Green Pet Pro is a powerful and compact, portable carpet cleaner that gives you a professional-level clean. It uses powerful suction, special cleaning solution and a scrubbing action to remove stubborn dirt and tough stains from areas in your home or car where it may be hard to bring in a full-size carpet cleaner.
Bissell designed this carpet spot cleaner with a large-capacity tank that holds 3/4 gallon of cleaning solution, so you can clean more area without having to refill the tank as often. It also comes with a 5-ft.
hose and 22-ft. power cord, so it’s easy to use this portable carpet cleaner as a stain remover on carpet, upholstery, area rugs, car interiors, stairs, and more. Plus, it comes with a trial-sized bottle of Bissell Professional Deep Cleaning Formula, a tough stain tool and a stair tool.
Worked GREAT, unit is larger then I initially thought, super easy set up and cleaning of the unit. I under estimated my level of patience and strength needed to use this as I thought living in a small apartment with just area rugs itd be easy, opt for upright if for medium to large areas.
I did return the item but I would still highly recommend it!.
This machine works great. My car is 7 years old and I had quite a bit of stains on the seats and carpets from coffee spills, kids and pets. It took me 3 hours and now the car looks and smells like new.
All the stains came out. The only thing that can be improved is the ability to dump the dirty water. The canister portion for this does not have an opening to dump and rinse easily. It is alittle awkward but with lots of shaking and manuevering it can still be cleaned.
It just takes a bit longer. Otherwise this is perfect and works great.
Easy to maneuver: Easy-Glide Wheels and swivel steering ensure smooth movement on all floor types including DEEP carpets; Automatic height adjustment: Detects floor type and automatically adjusts for impressive cleaning results; Multi-cyclone filtration system + HEPA filter: Creates no loss of suction and traps 99.

I absolutely love this vacuum! I have 4 dogs and 4 cats in my home. I have spent more money than I would like on different vacuums, Rainbow and Kirby among others and I absolutely can’t say enough how surprised I am with how well it picks up hair!!!! I have an older house with hardwood floor that have little gaps where the hair will usually get stuck but it is definitely not a problem with this vacuum!! It glides smoothly over the floors and picks up hair and dirt unbelievably well! Hands down the best vacuum I have ever owned!!!.
the model NEU560 comes almost completely assembled out of the box, just snap on the handle (one phillips screw) attach the hose and the attachments and your ready to go. I’m going to begin with the interesting design of the bottom of the vacuum.
It has 2 large wheels which somehow allows the head to go both left and right, not just straight back and forth. This makes going around furniture much easier then the regular type head. The included Hepa filter is easy to remove and replace, it is right in front under a grill that pops open for easy access.
You touch the head slightly with you foot and it releases the vacuum to work. One of my favorite things is a light that lets you know that the beater brush is full, and shuts it off so you don’t burn out the belt or motor.
( the company is kind enough to send an extra belt with the vacuum) The brush is easy to clean with a quick and easy removal of the bottom (no tools required). The vacuum has a dial to either direct the suction to the hose or the lower vacuum.
It also has two buttons on the upper machine to turn the beater on and off so if you are vacuuming loose dirt, bird seed, or anything that sprays with the beater brush you can just push the button, vacuum it up the press the button for the beater bar again without missing a beat.
It also has this wonderful attachment on a telescoping wand that bends to do baseboards, registers, and ceiling fans ( great for people with allergies and asthma). There is a second filter within the collection canister that can be removed and washed then replaced saving money.
The canister is easy to remove and empty without getting you hands dirty. I have tried several other vacuums within the last year. I have a rough collie and when he blows coat I get fed up with the vacuums quickly.
Having to spend time every single time I vacuum to either unclog a hose, clean out the beater brush, make sure bags where placed and open correctly just is a waste of time when you have to vacuum everyday or every other day.
One of the others had to be pulled apart every single time I vacuumed to clean the brushes, several tools where needed in the process, it was a nightmare. I’m happy to say I think I have finally found the vacuum I have been waiting for.
5 STARS!!!! I haven’t had to even clean the beater brush out yet, but it will take less that a minute to turn the pegs and 1-2-3 all clean and back in place. I let my friend try it today and she ordered one for herself this evening.
