Amazing product! Used it a couple of times already and it delivers as promised. Bottle is just the right size to fit in the hand, even for those with grip issues. I really like the extended applicator tip.

Unlike some competitors, this tip is not flimsy, so it won’t twist or bend when you accidentally touch the project. Some of them do, and you know what a mess that can be. That said, the glue itself, so far, seems to be the right fit for those little original designs and other fixes so often needed for.

Its smooth, even application, and self-flattening flow characteristics make it a gem for use in jewelry applications. I can compare this to other adhesives, and it stands out above the rest as easy to use and simple to apply correctly just where you need it to be.

It sets up easily using UV light and dries absolutely clear which is essential for use in jewelry settings. The bottle has temperature storage limits of 32/77 degrees F listed on the side. I’m not sure about what would happen if it were stored outside of the range, but wanted to notate that in case it could be an issue for you.

I was excited to try a new craft and I knew that there was a lot of people doing the resin crafts and that the products had been made easier to use. I got a bottle of the Blue Moon Beads UV Clear hard Resin.

I have to say it was very interesting as this was my first experience with resin. There is learning curve for sure and I did quickly learn that I needed more information to proceed but my first attempt turned out pretty good.

This is a fun craft. I was able to use just sunlight to cure the first molding, but had a little difficulty with the one where I added tint. It wasn’t the product but user error, the product comes very well packaged and the bottle itself is capped well and very easy to use.

The flow from the bottle was great and I got very few air bubbles. I think I picked a little more difficult mold and should have started with something a little easier, but it really worked well. My advice would be to start with simple molds.

It is a lot of fun and the product worked great.

It has particles in it that cause it to fish eyes really bad. It makes it look like there is a ton of dust that had fallen on it. I tried it twice on a tumbler and it looked like snake skin because of the fish eyes! I wiped it off and thought maybe it was the spray paint causing it.

Sealed it then coated again. Nope same problem. You can see the specs in it. It looks like bubbles but they aren’t bubbles. They are tiny specks of something. I ended up wiping off as much as I could do I didn’t have to do so much sanding to fix it.

I guess if you are just going molds then this would work fine but you can’t use it to top coat any of your items and you can’t use this on tumblers. I have wanted more money in my time than I did on the savings cost of this epoxy.

Will not purchase this again. I suggest you not purchase either if you are doing tumblers!.

I’ve bought 2 bottles of this , needing a good UV resin quickly & just to cover my bases, from 2 different sellers. I was pretty disappointed that even with a 37 watt UV lamp, it took HOURS to have this set up & even after long exposure in direct sunlight, I could still make an imprint with my fingernail in the surface.

I have since found another product called Solarez. I highly suggest anyone wanting to work with UV resin check it out, it will AMAZE you! I was thrilled the first time I used it, 1 minute!!!!! JUST 1 MINUTE in direct sunlight, it set up hard & no surface give at all, it was easy to keep air bubbles from forming & with the projects I was doing I used both the thin/hard & thick/hard.

both were definite winners!!! after WEEKS of dealing with the LP, I nearly cried with joy( & relief!) over the results using the Solarez. I will NEVER again buy the LP.

I am extremely disappointed in this product. It took a long time to cure even under a uv light. It also pulls away from the sides. I would truly like my money back

I have read several bad reviews on this product, and I have to say they are wrong. This product when used correctly. I have the Lisa Pavelka UV lamp, and if you use thin layers instead of one big thick pour it will work beautifully.

I have used it a lot, and I have bought many times. You must store it in a dark place or it will set up. I haven’t had any problems with it, and it is easy to use. Love this product.

I recently tried a sample of this epoxy and fell in love with it. The viscosity is thicker than the brand I was using, but immediately I realized that creates less bubbles while mixing. I also noticed the coating itself did a better job covering while spreading evenly and smoothly.

After I used my sample I came on line and bought the two gallon kit because I realize this product is superior to what’s on the market and the pricing is amazing too. I expect it to start flying off the shelf once word gets out.

I am now a loyal customer, if you’re on the fence about trying it. go for it!.

This kit gets you started and is great to see if that’s what you’d like to pursue or it could be a great gift for a mature teen.

Full disclosure: It does have warnings on the product, you need to be careful to keep it off your skin, you need very good ventilation. The pendant I made I will wear. It cured in just a few minutes.

It was easy to pull out of the mold. Not bad at all. The UV lamp included has a timer and shuts off in one minute. I totally can see myself making more pendants.

The resin is great, I bought the black color to play around with and looks really color. The only issue I had was that it didn’t fully cure after using the light. It was still a little tacky so I had to let it sit for about another 24 hours before it was fully hard and no longer tacky.

Otherwise the product was great and I will definitely use it again.

First time buying this uv resin and I don’t like it. The smell is strong but that doesn’t bother me. The tackyness is what bugs me. It’s super glossy but super tacky. I tried giving it time under the light but nothing.

This was my first time ever using UV Resin, I did buy there UV Lamp with the resin and it worked amazingly!! I actually just bought the bigger bottle (look for coupons that’s what I did) I make glitter tumblers and sealed the bottom and lids and it works great! Definitely sticking with this!.

I love it so much! Use this as a finish for clay earrings. I put it under my gel UV light and once it’s done it’s still a little tacky, but I let it sit in a window for a while and all the tacky-ness is gone!.

Don’t waste your money on this garbage! Its gummy and takes forever to cure. I tried curing it in my UV oven but after about 10 tries and it still being sticky I put it out in the sun. This did make it cure but guess what? Now it has turned yellow! So the earrings I was making are ruined.

Complete trash! Do not purchase. I have now turned around and spent more money to get my regular brand online for cheaper and much better quality.

It is very thick and takes a very long time to cure. It also yellows some. So unless you have about 15 minutes for a cure time each round then go for it otherwise find it somewhere else like maybe on amazon.

This resin works exactly how it should, it cured fast, hard, and clear. The perfect product for anybody wanting to give resin art a go and not break the bank, especially with how often hildie & jo has sales!.

Product is meant for interior areas where there are lots of windows. The product set up nicely and took pigments and metallics well.

I’ve been working with epoxy resin for about 5 years. I’ve tried all the common brands but never found one that I was really happy with. I only use 3 types of resin now and they are all carried by this store.

I use this Clearcast 7050 for coasters and similar sized projects. It cures hard and clear. It has a low viscosity which helps tremendously with bubbles, and it resists yellowing better than any other brand I’ve ever used.

I like that I can measure by weight. This product works every time. I also highly recommend the Clearcast 7000 for coating and doming and Liquid Diamonds for jewelry pieces. They are all great products and I have no hesitancy recommending them to anyone.

Have used several different resins for artwork. Have been ALLERGIC to ALL! Gloves & respirator did not help either. Culprit was POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL. Adding insult to injury; some anti-itch products contain it as well and so do NITRILE GLOVES.

Contacted this store first to assure that their resin contained NO POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL – response was “NONE OF OUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL. ” I was happy but wary – ordered the small version of 7050 – NO ALLERGIC REACTION! Besides that, the results are the best I’ve ever used!!! Just ordered the larger version.

This resin takes a very long time to cure (24+ hours) and doesn’t set for at least 12. A product *feature* is that it forms bubbles. That said, if you’re patient and not too worried about having a perfect cast, the resin does hold strong once it’s done curing.

This kit also comes with everything you need to get started – just buy some gloves and a bit of pigment, and you’re on your way.

If you use shiny resin often and in small quantities, this is the stuff. Easy to mix, consistent success, crystal clear, shiny finish. Beware the bubbles. Slowly pull them to the edge with a toothpick for best final result.

it gives a wonderful crystal glossy finish to pieces. being a two part resin it needs exact preparation so always read instructions first and in this case obey them and you will have excellent results.

This was my first time using resin and I love that these came with tips for pouring. While it may seem like it’s yellow pre mix the final product comes out clear. I kept this stuff sitting around for while before truly learning how to work with resin so after a few months I did have to add more hardener (instead of 50/50) for my items to set correctly.

Overall I’m really pleased with this resin.

I have to say that the first time I ordered Ice Resin from Walmart online that I was a bit apprehensive because the picture shows what looks to be like the old way Ice Resin was bottled. I assumed it would therefore be old.

To my surprise it was not old and was bottled the newer way. I was so happy with it that I ordered two more 16 oz. bottles. I didn’t want to risk ordering a 32 oz. amount thinking it may be old and yellowed.

My order just arrived and both 16 oz. batches are not yellowed at all. As you can tell, I use a lot of doming resin. My order also arrived much sooner than the estimated due date. I was very happy to see it this early.

I have been using this product for the past year and get soooo many compliments on my pendants. This product is the very best for jewelry making. It stays clear and does not turn yellow. Highly recommended.

And the price at WalMart is the best as well. I love ordering it and having it delivered to my local WalMart for free shipping.
