20 Best Uv Arm Sleeves Cycling (2023 Updated)

I am a 17 year old tennis player and my elbow is constantly in pain from serving to hard and for too long. I use the compression sleeves on both sides only when I am playing tennis and I absolutely loved it.

I felt no pain at all while using these arm sleeves they allowed for me to keep a consistent pace on my serve and not have to worry about hurting my elbow. The negatives of this product I would have to say is keeping the arm sleeves from sliding down, I had to constantly fix them.

Another thing is these products are not very durable after you put them in a washer machine and dry them they will start to rip. Other than that everything was great and I can not wait to buy more of zensah product and since I plan on going big in tennis I might even try to get a sponsorship from zensah.

Unfortunately terrible, the product was made , that I received, for a 10 year old body of a young athlete. All 3, were a no go. The phone technician was awesome and really nice so not her fault. I told my height and weight 6’3 305lbs and was told the XL would fit all , I switched from AM KNEE RELIEVE Company, to try an Israeli made and merchandised for America so I was excited, really excited , really excited when the door rang and our package showed up on time no issues.

The issues are the Compression Socks ( cut off half just to slip on size 14 feet/ the Arm Sleeves, I couldn’t get 3 fingers inside and cut them off for wrist support ( waste) / the Calve warm sleeves, I couldn’t fit 2 two toes into so I gave them to my 5’1 115lb wife, who could barely squeeze em onto her legs but worked em in after effort.

My issue is this, I gave my 6’3 305lb information and the “ XL “ one size fits all was told would work, AM KNEE RELIEVE fits me and it’s XL “ one size fits all “ and that’s were my disappointment lays, a false description of the product purchased.

I liked the look , the material, just made for a kid NOT AN ADULT of my size or most any Man. Call me if you like these phone surveys do not describe the full scope of marketing. Thank you.

Typically I love all things I buy from Zensah! But these new arm sleeves have changed size. They are now longer and wider and don’t stay up on my arms. My previous arm sleeves (size S/M), bought about 4 years ago, fit great and they still stay up when I run.

They’ve been worn so much that I have a run (no pun) in the elastic on one of them, so they probably won’t last much longer. With such a big size difference between the one’s I have previously bought and the new ones, wouldn’t it make more sense to offer a size Small and a size Medium? Otherwise you are going to have unhappy customers at both sizes.

This is the second time we’ve purchased these sleeves: first, in 2020 prior to size changes; second, this current sizing. From experience, we purchased XXL from the get go, which now fit the standard 11″ bicep but, is still a tight, tight fit for biceps larger.

The sizing of the XXL proportions also need work. If the band fits the bicep for our crews, the arm is much too large, therefore, the extra material moves around as they work. This also contributes to slippage, which is far from ideal.

If these sleeves were meant to be worn lower on the bicep, fine, then make the sleeve shorter. If they are meant to be worn halfway on the bicep where typical short-sleeved shirts cut off, then make the sleeves larger on the bicep side.

These do the job nicely. I can go out in the sun all day and the part of the arms that they cover aren’t sunburned. Be sure to cover the rest of your body with other protective covering! I would advise being absolutely sure of your size because they don’t have much give lengthwise or width-wise, almost zero stretch.

I am an athletic 175 lbs and the mediums are on the tight side.

I like to wear these sorts of sleeves fairly high up on the arms, because I’m wearing gloves anyway that will protect my wrists. But the sleeves are both short, and pretty tight to pull up that high.

I should have gotten an extra large, maybe?.

It is a very smooth and stretchable material that fits snugly around your arms, I could feel it start to cool my arm as soon as I put it on which I thought was really cool. I will definitely be wearing these as the summer continues as I am outdoors quite a bit.

Overall I am pleased with this product and would recommend it to others in search of a similar item!.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I am a smaller person and I thought these one-size fits all sleeves wouldn’t necessarily stay on but so far they do. I’ve tried it while running and doing weight exercises.

I don’t play football or high contact sports so I am not sure if they stay on in those situations. If you had large enough arms, they would be tighter and should stay up. The material is soft and comfortable.

It’s thick enough to shield from the sun from uva and uvb rays.

I have skin grafts from burns on my hands and arms that I put cream on every day. This product keeps the cream from getting on everything and seconds as sun protection.

Value great but moves down from top of arm down at times BUT this is all of the brands out there no matter what brands you buy, this I assume is normal since I dont want my circulation to be cut off but keeps sun off my skin, I would buy again if needed.

These are the best sunsleeves I’ve used and my go to for the past few years. I’ve tried Pearl Izumi, Castelli and some no name brand off Amazon. These stay put, don’t get too hot and you can actually feel the cooling you better as the sweat evaporates.

To wipe sweat out of my eyes, I switched to sun sleeves and stopped wearing gloves altogether. I like this way better.

These sun sleeves are so comfortable. I was a little skeptical at first, but they fit perfectly, and I forgot I had them on while riding. I have fair skin, and I prefer wearing these over sunblock even in 90 degree heat with high humidity.

Tried some cheap ones (that were a waste) before these Giordana Sun Sleeves. They are cut for a right / left arms specifically. Great materials and excellent construction. The gripper on the bicep is just right for me.

They stayed put while riding (I don’t notice them at all). I wear medium jerseys in Giordana so I went with medium sleeves. They fit great. I am really pleased.

I was skeptical at first. My skin is very sensitive and a lot of fabrics irritate it and I cannot wear them. I usually can not even tolerate long sleeves on my arms. I use a 70+ sun block and as I live in florida and have an outdoor pool , I spend a lot of time in the sun.

Sunblock can be sticky and sometimes even the sunblock irritate my skin. Nevertheless, inevitably the sunblock washes or wears off and I get burned anyway. My doctor has warned me of the dangers of sun exposure as I have very fair skin , vitiligo and am on a medication that has sun sensitivity as a side effect.

Well, to finally get to the point, when the sleeves I ordered arrived and I put them on…it was love at first fit. They fit perfect, they are soft as kitten fur and I truly can not tell that I have them on.

In the water or out. They DO NOT make my arms hotter ( how ever did you do that! ). My only wish is that you made a full body suit! I plan on buying a second pair of sleeves. You have a customer for life and a huge fan!.

I really LOVE these bamboo sun sleeves. Very good quality, comfortable to wear, and most importantly. Protection!! When the heat rises, in the southwest, so does my need to protect my skin from itchy blisters, caused by sun.

My arms are most vulnerable, so having sunsleeves, for short sleeve days, is way more convenient than carrying around spray or creme sunblock. I love these sunsleeves so much, I just purchased a second pair!.

Amazing to not deal with the sensory issues of constantly applying sunscreen on arms while outdoors or driving. Haven’t noticed any sunburn after removing these and I burn easily, definitely recommend.

The fit is great, only gets a bit tight on upper arms if I try to pull it up all the way which with most t-shirts is not necessary. I also love that these are made of bamboo fiber instead of synthetics!.

I bought these for a holiday to Norway in August. We’d planned to go kayaking and I wanted to protect my arms from the sun. I have such fair skin I burn very quickly and it’s not easy reapplying suncream when kayaking! I didn’t want to wear a long sleeve top, especially if it was hot (which it was when we kayaked), so I bought the medium oatmeal arm sleeves, no holes, to try.

Although I’m petite my upper arms are defined, so I bought the medium for comfort and I’m glad I did. Small would have been too tight. I really liked the colour. They blended well with my skin tone so from a distance it wasn’t that obvious I was wearing them and the colour wouldn’t clash with whatever colour sports top I wore.

I wore them for over 3 hours straight and they were comfortable. Not sure I’d want to wear them all day long though but for a morning’s kayaking they were ideal. Although it was about 80F on the day we kayaked, I didn’t feel too hot wearing them.

Did not feel restricting on the upper arm whilst kayaking which is was my only initial concern pre purchase. They gave me excellent coverage, especially on the upper arm. They came up high enough to sit underneath my t-shirt meaning I didn’t have to worry about the back part of my upper arm getting caught in the sun whilst paddling with the sun behind me.

I will definitely be wearing these again in the summer when kayaking, hiking or cycling. It was such a relief not to have to worry about whether I need to reapply suncream on my arms.

I do like the product, it made my life easier in regards to being outside on a sunny day, I am very cautious about the Sun and what it can do to my skin, therefore I prefer to cover myself up and not to be exposed at all.

And like I said before, these sleeves made my life easier, now its possible to wear a T-shirt and not being worried about my arms. I have noticed though the sleeves keep drooping down and I have to keep pulling them back up, but I think it’s just a nature of sleeves, any sleeves will behave this way, unless its too tight with a silicon band on it, or perhaps adding some glue can fix the problem (am joking).

I like the fabric and range of colors, but overall the sleeve is too short. I wear them cycling or backpacking with either a bicycle jersey or a wool t-shirt. Most of the womens style shirts I own have capped sleeves- so requires a longer length sun sleeve to cover my arm all the way to the wrist.

For mens style T- shirts with longer length short sleeves the sun sleeve is fine but it didn’t work for the style of t-shirt or cycling Jersey that I prefer. Also, the thumb hole was not very comfortable.

Overall, should be longer.

Rode my Harley 1,000 miles one way to Sturgis over two days in the blazing sun and 90+ degrees. Without sunscreen on my arms. No problem for the Sun Sleeves. Then rode home and still no burn with the Sun Sleeves.

Yes I got warm when we stopped, but not too bad and when we got going again, the wicking effect cooled me down immediately. I really liked the reinforced rubber cuffs that kept them from sliding down my arm.

And fit great so no material flapping in the breeze. Really great quality. Next test is a three-day fishing trip in the Gulf! No question these were a great choice. I would send a photo of the burn on my hand but it faded already.

I got these compression sleeves mainly to keep the sun from tanning my left arm while driving during the summer when I wear short sleeves. I am very impressed with the high quality of the fabric and the stitching.

It is quite thick, making it likely that sun protection would be excellent if it is indeed UPF50+. Unfortunately, I got S/M based on arm size forgetting that this is supposed to be compressing. While it fit me fine, I should actually have a very loose fit.

Next time, I will order two sizes bigger, an XL. Compression may be fine if I play sports, but I am way too old for that.

I bought three pairs of the compression sleeves. One for my father in his 70s ; One for my husband in his 50s. They are both golfers. The last one was for me in my 40s and I am a distance runner. All three of us are pleased with the product and find it user friendly.

My dad likes the sun blockage. We all like that they are fitted. And I plan on taking mine up this weekend to Duluth, MN (Grandma’s marathon weekend) to wear on the start line for the warmth/coverage before the race.

These arm sleeves are really great to use instead of sunscreen. I keep several in my golf bag.

Best compression arm sleeve out there. I tried 5 different ones, that are on Amazon, sent them all back, but I kept and am still using the compressionz arm sleeves. I’m recovering from Ulnar Nerve surgery on one arm and doing PT on the other arm for tennis elbow and Ulnar nerve damage, ant the arm sleeves feel so good on my arms for both problems.

The arm sleeve does not bother my 7 inch scar from my surgery, but the compression sleeve my doctor gave me did. My doctor was impressed with the comressionz sleeve too. It does not slip down at night or when I have it on all day.

I am thin, so when I measured my biceps, it said I should order the adult small, and it did slip down a little. I ended up ordering the boys large, it’s not quite as long, but it is perfect, never moves or slips down.

I kept the adult small to wear when I do my 40 minute cardio workouts on my stationery bike or my elliptical, then I put on the boys small for the rest of the day and night. I put them into a lingerie bag and wash them on cold/delicate cycle and I hang them to dry.

Got this for my son for a unique reason. My son uses this for baseball. He had a bad dislocation of his elbow when he was 8 after falling out of a tree and as a result has discomfort in his elbow when he throws long distances or max velocity due to scar tissue build up.

Bought this in hopes that it would help with the pain. Put in on as soon as we got it and went out to throw. Immediate difference. Got on the mound and was throwing straight gas. He looked and me kinda shocked and said he can’t feel anything.

I’m glad I finally decided to try sleeves. I run every day (NJ) and bike commute (NYC) as well, and I was wearing long sleeve shirts, but was hard to keep on all of the time because of heat or change when commuting.

These are perfect because when I’m done running or cooling off, I can just take them off. Or if I start in the dark, I stick in my pocket and put on when the sun comes up. When leaving work in a dress I just throw them on.

Hard to get enough sun screen on my arms and not dirty my watch and all and this makes life so much easier (and less sun damage). They do feel cool, I love the finger options and rubber grips, my only only problem is too big on the biceps.

I do this things where I double knot them tighter but if I stretch or hit a pothole or anything that changes my position, the knot unties and they fall right down. I’m female, 41 years old, 5’6” and 130 lbs and clear need to work out my arms to get some bigger muscles, but I need about 2 inches wider to work, which just is probably not possible.

I’m used to the workaround now so I still love them, but can be annoying on some days.

I’m 5’3″ and 128lbs. My arms and wrists are small so I purchased the S/M and there is no problem with them staying in place. I compared these to the REI brand and the Pearl Izumi and liked these the best as they are not “skin tight” on me and the “thumby” enables the sleeve to cover my hands, which is good because the sunscreen gets wiped off there anyway.

They also feel just fine to push up to the wrist and just have coverage to the wrist, rather than over your hand. I like that I can just take them off and stash them away if I wanted, rather than wearing a long sleeve shirt.

You can also wet the sleeves to keep cool. The light color will keep the hot Arizona sun from blazing on my arms. These will keep you cooler and protect your skin. It was great to go to REI and just try them on to compare brands.

I think these are the most popular since there were only two pairs there, and I got the last S/M at the store by me. These sleeves are a great addition to my hiking gear wardrobe. I’m saying good bye to the sticky sunscreen on my arms.

Oh, I also like that they are really long and go all the way up to my armpit if I position it that high and the wrist with the thumby still comfortably cover my hand and a little of my fingers. There is also a small elastic middle finger band that you can slip over your finger to hold the wrist/hand end in place.

These are fantastic. I have a lot of sun damage on my arms, and I’m prone to skin cancer. I’ve been wearing a sun hoodie for a few years but sometimes that is still too hot for exercise in the summer.

If you wear this with a short-sleeve shirt, you still get the advantage of natural venting under your arms. Wearing these actually feels cooler than bare skin. The S/M size fits me perfectly (female, 145 lbs, ave size arms).

They stay up, even while playing tennis, yet aren’t uncomfortably tight. The light grey is a nice innocuous color that goes with everything.

I couldn’t believe the chilling effect these had on the parts of my arms they covered in the open cloudless sun filled sky with no wind. As soon as a little sweat hit the omni freeze pattern on the inside of these sleeves, there was unbelievable instant cooling happening.

It was almost as if I had an air conditioner just over the part covered by these. I would buy an entire body suit with this inside for summer wear. They do have a drawback as they run a bit small. I could not dock a star based on how effective they were for me though.

I think Columbia should consider breaking the sizes down and making a small, medium, large, x large and maybe xx large for people with really big arms. If I was the size I was when I lifted everyday, these L/XL wouldn’t have gone over my forearms much less onto my bicep/tricep any whatsoever.

Making each size individually would allow a greater range of size and also a much larger size for those who need it. If you can fit, you wouldn’t regret purchasing these as I’ve not ever worn anything that has this kind of cooling with no wind blowing at all.

I own two pairs of the Columbia Freezer Zero Arm Sleeve, one in white and another in stone blue. I’m 5’8″ 140LB and a slender toned build, but the L/XL fits me well. I tried the S/M and it was extremely tight (fits my 5’2″ GF).

The L/XL seemed snug at first but once installed felt comfortable, providing excellent support and compression of arm muscles. I bought these sleeves for playing classical guitar while wearing short sleeved shirts.

I live in the tropics so the sun is brutal and can burn through my tee-shirt in 20 minutes. The Columbia sleeves kept my arms a burn-free milky white! I noticed cooling the most when riding my bike. With one arm bare and the other decked out in a Freezer Zero Arm Sleeve, the sleeved arm felt like AC was blowing directly on it! The bare arm was, well, very warm.

The combination of sweat and moving air maximizes cooling. The Freezer Zero Arm Sleeve is a very good product: nice compression, noticeable cooling, excellent sun protection and perfect for guitar playing and outdoor activities in heat and sun.

I’d rather the sleeves were plain and didn’t have a huge “Columbia” written along the length. Wish there were more color choices. Black, while not great in the sun, would be my first choice for stage use.

I just tried then they feel nice and are probably a bit tighter than expected. The true proof of fire will be when its cold enough to have to need then for the ride. If I remember will supplement this review after that happens.

I live in Memphis, TN, so summers are exceedingly warm and humid. As someone in their mid-40s who has had a few basal cell spots I’ve been more attuned to sun protection. I noticed the local golf professional consistently wore sleeves, so I asked about them.

He has multiple sets and raved about them, so I researched sun sleeves. SParms rose to the top with its widespread use on the LPGA and PGA tours. Among “brand names” these were the best priced and best reviewed.

There are less expensive options, however do your due diligence and double check the product composition. Many bargain options are 100% polyester and do not provide the cooling and sun protection offered by these SParms sleeves.

I’ve used these twice since receiving them. Temperatures were mid-90s with heat indexes near or above 110. Mentally, this alone provided a resistance to sleeves. I was pleasantly surprised by the “cooling” effect.

I thought that was simply going to be a marketing pitch, but they genuinely provided a cooler feel to my arms. Three bonuses: 1) the sleeves didn’t acquire a smell like many 100% polyester alternatives and 2) the sleeves stayed in place throughout my rounds and I didn’t have to worry about them sliding around.

3) wearing the sleeves allowed me to avoid slathering sun screen or spray all over my arms and hands. Last, regarding sizing, do yourself a favor and follow the sizing guide provided before ordering.

They have you measure your bicep relaxed and flexed and compare to their size chart. Very simple, but very helpful.

I work in Landscape Construction and spend many hours out in the sun. I always forget to put sunscreen on, so when I saw these sleeves I thought I would give them a try. They are super easy to put on and fit very snug.

once they’re on you forget they are there until you get home. They also have a great cooling effect, if you’re feeling hot, just wet them down and it feels great. I originally only bought 1 pair to test them out, but I now own 5 pairs.

This is a comfortable arm covering for sun protection. Bolero style means the arms don’t slide down. It is cut quite high on the arms so a sliver of skin is exposed between a sleeveless top and the bolero arms.

Comfortable in very high humidity and 35 C heat. Extremely fast delivery!.

Good for adding another layer around your knees only. I use them mostly for jogging underneath my running gear. When worn on top, they tend to slowly slide downwards. Won’t suffice when minus 10 C with regular gear, but at least you don’t have to wear 2 pants when not extremly cold.

Just enough protection from the wind/cold without overheating after 15 minutes riding. Also good length even on the small size so no gap for skinny riders.

I was wary of buying these items, wondering if they would stay up. The description led me to believe that they would stay in place but I found this not to be so. After about 20 minutes of riding they begin to fall down.

Otherwise, the product is of good quality.

I already knew what I was buying when I got this Buff, as it’s my second one. I bought this one for waterfowl hunting, eliminating the need for face paint. There little things are SUPER useful and can serve as head wear, face masks or neck wear.

I use this one as a face mask and it keeps me comfortable. It can be a bit of a hassle on cold days because it fogs up my glasses, but if you work it a little bit around, you’ll get the trick on how to solve that.

It’s cool in warm weather, and warm in cold weather. Go figure. when it’s not on my face, it’s around my neck and still keeps me warm. Love it.

The sleeves fit well on my small to medium arms. They are very cool in the heat, and stop that painful overexposed feeling when I can’t get to shade. They feel very durable and are comfortable under leather gloves and over latex as well.

These definitely come in handy when I have a shorter sleeved top that I like to wear in colder weather. They also serve as cooling sun protection while driving in the hot sunny daytime hours.

These are great! I have a sun allergy – yes, that’s a real thing. Mine is genetic, but it can also happen when taking certain medications. Anyway, these sleeves help me avoid breaking out into a rash when enjoying the outdoors during the summer.

They go down over your hand and have both thumb and finger holes to keep everything covered. If suppose if you used them a lot you might have a tan line on the bottom of your fingers where the sleeve starts.

The material is thin and really does have a cooling effect so it’s not uncomfortably hot to wear these which is really awesome. These are so affordable that I’ve bought them in multiple colors so I can have one set by the dog’s leash, one in the car, and one in my travel bag.

People gawk a bit when I wear the purple ones, but the nude ones are barely noticeable (on paler white people). The only issues I’ve encountered have to do with runs and the upper band of the sleeve.

The material is similar to heavier nylon tights, so if a stich pops or you get these caught on something, they will run/tear. The upper arm band of the sleeve is fine for skinny people, but those with a little arm fat (like myself) might find that the sleeve rolls down occasionally and can be uncomfortable after long wear.

Unfortunately, these did not work out for me. I like that they are lightweight, but these sleeves felt like I was wearing tights on my arms and didn’t feel it would protect my arms from the sun’s rays because it was pretty thin.

I like the thumb hole design, but one of them already ripped a little as I was trying them on. It also wasn’t long enough for me, but that is my fault for not looking at the size. I guess I got what I paid for.

I use SP Arms for sun protection whilst riding my bicycle, and also for running. They are light, a good fit, easy to put on and take off, and dry quickly. They readily fit over wrist fitness watches.

I find these are as good and cheaper than those sold specifically for cycling use, and they would also serve as arm warmers in cool weather.

Winchester 308 and 30-06 Power Points will generally equal or exceed the accuracy of my handloads. Winchester brass is giving me the number of loadings I normally expect based upon 48 years of reloading.

Unlike ammo another manufacturer- I have Never found a single round of Winchester ammo with a cracked case in a newly opened box. Winchester has NOT lowered quality. Excited to sight in my new Browning in 270 Win, I purchased this ammunition in order to find a “my rifle’s” ammunition (along with three other boxes of similarly-priced ammunition). Upon comparison, the bullet grouping (after it was sighted in) was very decent, I would say 2nd from all the brands.

However, on the reliability side, no go. My first round of this ammunition misfired (or primer failed to combust). Over a box of 20, this happened 5 times. This did not happen to any of the other brands of ammo.

As much as I would love to take this to the field, I would not be comfortable having these in a mag while I’m face to face with a buck of a lifetime.

I’ve found these ammunition for my original Springfield Trapdoor 1884 and shot great with no difficulties. For those having issues on ammunition for 45-70 trapdoor this ammunition is definitely safe to use as long as the bore is good and mechanically works.

Definitely will use this product again for my trapdoor, but Winchester needs to be updating if this ammunition is still in production or discontinued because it’s becoming frustrating for ammunition to not be available.

My first time wearing sun sleeves. I need to wear them since I have been diagnosed with skin cancer. I thought they would be too hot, but I was wrong. Actually, it seems the sleeves cool the arms by keeping the hot sun off them and once they get wet from sweat, any breeze cools the arms and helps cool the entire body.

I will be getting the gray pair to compliment the white ones I purchased.

The S/M is maybe for children or teens bc it’s really small. I’m a woman who wears a size 8-10 shirt and bought these bc no one makes them for women except “one size fits all” which never fits me. But this S/M only stretches to about 11″ around the bicep!.

This helps keep the sun from scorching my arms. Plus, you save your arms from getting covered in sunscreen. The grey color looks good. Sleeves are a little unusual to wear but after a couple holes I was completely used to them.
